I think Izuku doesn't look at the body again, those panels could be him remembering it, like that image is already ingrained in his brain.

And if it wasn't enough (part 2), Mirio singles out just two people

Tamaki

And Bakugo

And what are those two for them? Yes! Childhood friends, people who had been with them most of their lives and Mirio understands that and singles out Bakugo for that very same reason. And I think Mirio singling out Tamaki is to reassure himself (crying)

So the panel arrangement of what Deku is taking in this issue is literally a giant field of destruction and in the center Kacchan by himself. No one else. Just Kacchan’s body and this vast empty space of destruction.

Then closeup of Kacchan and the card….then the smaller panels of everyone else and how they fared….than back to panels of Kacchan and the card BETWEEN panels of Deku and Shigaraki.

Cool. Cool. Totally cool. No feelings about those arrangement choices.

This chapter I just can't 😭

My heart is pounding so fast. I don't know what to feel. I mean we waited for this forever but seeing our Izuku goes almost feral I just can't. I'm crying so much. The fight is going to be intense. I know Katsuki will be revived and I hope these two will be fine soon. They've been through so much already. Izuku focus on the card (the card that is special for the both of them) instead of Katsuki means he can't see Katsuki like that. It hurt him so much 😭💔

However! in here it looks as his gaze has become just a tiny bit more focused and he is looking towards Deku.

Have to confirm this once cleaned up version of the chapter arrives, might just be poor quality of raw scans, but I wouldn’t put it pass Hori to be sneaky like this, he knows we all have been waiting for Dekus reaction and will focus on that.
