SCP-049 Mask for Sims 4 (WIP CC)

Here’s the CC and resources for the SCP-049 mask I’ve been working on. I posted some screenshots on Reddit a while back and said it would be up on TSR that same weekend, but I had trouble working on the CC I planned to use in the thumbnail. Unfortunately one of the meshes I’m working with isn’t keen to a new normal map. I’ve paused the process of making the official thumbnails for this CC to get more experience working on other meshes. I’ll come back to this when I feel confident on my ability to create the CC for the thumbnails that come alongside the 049 clothing set I’m working on.

For now, I just want to provide the Sims 4 and SCP community with the access to this. I’d rather it be enjoyed as is instead of hiding it away because of some missing flavor images.

Details:

This CC is complete and features 5 separate theme swatches (Wiki canon, Containment Breach, grimdark, bone, and 035-inspired). There are an additional 3 variations of each theme (blood splatter, facial shadow, and blood splatter + facial shadow). This makes a total of 20 swatches. Only missing CAS thumbnails.

- Total Swatches: 20

- CAS Category: Accessories > Glasses

- Age & Genders: Male + Female, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Elder

- Occults: All

- Can Randomly Generate: No

- Texture Dimensions: 2048px * 4096px (twice EA’s default, standard CC “HD”)

- Mesh Polycount: 11.2k (not super high poly, but will lag a game on lowest graphics settings)

- Sort Layer: 17100 (Accessories/rings)

- Texture Space: Glasses, and top left of Hat

- Rig Slot: b__CAS_Glasses__

- Package Size: 2.8 MB

- Incompatibilities: None as far as I can tell

Note: In the linked Drive folder, there is also an OBJ file of the HIGH POLY sculpt used to bake the normal maps. “HD 049 Mask Sculpt.OBJ” is a very hefty mesh that is 306.3k poly and 28.9 MB. This mesh is the result of a moron (me) with a Wacom, Nomad Sculpt, and a powerful laptop. This file is NOT part of the CC or it’s .package in any way, shape, or form.
