๋࣭ ⭑how fast do they say the L-word? pretty randomly, pretty fast. luffy doesnt exactly plan his words and since he's so honest, sometimes he just says shit. "you're pretty" "i'm hungry" "i love you" "do you think if two sea-kings had a baby that it will be a bigger sea-king? ussop asked me that today" yeah, it is indeed a whiplash inducing experience and you're left dumbfounded.

๋࣭ ⭑how jealous do they get? he's a chill dude and wouldn't honestly know if someone was flirting with you (unless that person was being very touchy feely and blatant). but he is good at reading emotions so, if someone happens to cross the line and you seem even a tad bit uncomfy, he is all for a fist-fight. nobody makes his girl uncomfy, especially not some lame ass rando. he behaves the same way with nami and robin too tho, like if someone weirds them out, the captain is ready to enter god-mode. he's just a sweet dude who cares about his crew. ๋࣭ ⭑what do they do when they’re jealous? he almost always starts a fight. you and the girls have to intervene because zoro and sanji just watch amused from the sidelines lol. afterwards, luffy does get a little pouty like "he was so weird you should have let me deal with him" but it's not something you cannot deal away with food and a lot of kisses.

๋࣭ ⭑how are mornings spent with them? sleeping, if i am being very honest. the sunlight filters through the window of your room and you groggily open your eyes, fighting back a yawn. luffy is practically draped over you, asleep. he's drooling onto your tshirt and you look at him with half love and half "yo wtf dude" kinda expression. he is such a heavy sleeper!!! oh my god. its like someone can come and do construction in your cabin and he'd sleep thru it. but if he heard sanji yell "BREAKFASTS READY" then he's grabbing you in his arms and running to the kitchen. he would literally run to the kitchen while half asleep. but most of the times, he wakes up by himself when he's hungry and shakes you awake till you (reluctantly) wake up too. it doesn't help that he always wakes up super-hyperactive first thing in the morning too. also, i am sure he's the type of boyfriend that insists to kiss you with morning breath even if you stuff your head into the pillow to avoid it. he will chase you thru the ship if he has to to get that fucking kiss.

💗nights:

๋࣭ ⭑how are nights spent with them?: sleeping, again. luffy is usually tired from his day-long shenanigans and after eating an entire nuclear family worth of food for dinner, he is ready to fall asleep. but he is always so nice, he tries really hard to stay up till you're done talking to the crew/finishing your work to come in your shared room. he always greets you with a tired grin, asking you to lay next to him and tell him how your day went (as if he wasnt next to you like 90% of the time.) he tries super hard to stay up but he almost always sleeps while you're still talking. its not his fault!! he's exhausted and your voice is so sweet and your fingers are gently massaging his scalp and your skin feels so smooth against his and- you get the picture. he's asleep. ofc you don't mind. he's adorable and you let him hold onto you as you finish up some work/fall asleep yourself.

💗open:

๋࣭ ⭑when would they start revealing things about themselves: he actually forgets to tell you things, not out of intention but because it serves no narrative purpose to the plot lmao. (i mean he literally forgot to inform anyone about ace and was just like "YEAH THATS MY BIG BRO!!" when ace showed up in alabasta) so, yeah, technically it does take him pretty long. but if you ask him questions about his past, he would most certainly start telling you all his life's lore without a second thought. and you'd be stuck thinking "how tf did all of this happen to a child???" ๋࣭ ⭑do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly: like i said, he will infodump if you ask him, otherwise he would just not tell things to you. so, really depends on how good you are at asking questions.

💗patience:

๋࣭ ⭑how easily angered are they?: he is an easy-going dude. i mean he usually fights half of his battles unserious (till some fucked up thing happens and he gets angry enough to fight for real). so, he doesn't get all that angry on a day-to-day basis. he does get pouty and offended every once in a while, but he literally moves on from that within half an hour. he never holds onto those things for a larger chunk of time.

💗quizzes:

๋࣭ ⭑ how much would they remember about you? actually, quite a lot!! like i said, he makes a genuine effort to always listen to you (even when hes tired), so, he always remembers things that are personal to you and you may have said to him in passing. ๋࣭ ⭑do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything? honestly, if it isn't something very, very close to your heart, luffy will probably mis-remember it. he remembers things but never in the right context, so, its kind of a struggle to remind him those things. but its kinda endearing cause even if you are just re-telling him a story or something, he looks at you so intently with those bug-like wide eyes and a silly smile that it makes all of your annoyance fade away.

💗remember:

 ๋࣭ ⭑what is their favorite moment in your relationship?: if you ask robin, the quickest way to a man's heart is through his third and fourth ribs. if you ask luffy, it's thru food. (we know how much luffy loves food omg!!) you asked sanji to help you make a very very simple soup for luffy when he was injured after a fight. you wanted him to get better and take care of him. sanji had complied happily and helped you make a simple mushroom soup for the captain. so, imagine luffy's surprise when he was woken up by your sound. you were sitting by his side, a bowl of steaming soup in your hand and you smiled at him sheepishly, "i made you some soup." no matter how good of a cook sanji is, luffy genuinely believes that soup was the best thing he had ever tasted. (now every time he gets sick, he starts dropping hints like "if only someone made me some soup... with some nice mushrooms... maybe ill feel better. if onlyyyy" "ill make you the soup luffy" "yay!! i mean," fake coughs, "thankyou... im so weak i need some soup" )

๋࣭ ⭑how protective are they? insanely protective. even an ounce of discomfort on you/the crew means he's gonna go berserk. ๋࣭ ⭑how would they protect you? hes the rubber man, he'd figure something out ๋࣭ ⭑how would they like to be protected? he doesn't typically need protection, both cause he's self-sufficient and also cause he lowkey loves fucking things up. but every once in a while, when the navy catches up to the crew and you say "it's okay, let me handle this." he falls in love. it's just so admirable of you to always step up (even when you dont necessarily have to).

💗try: 

๋࣭ ⭑how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks? he honestly loves you a lot, but i dont think he has the brain capacity to pull off extravagant plans. one time he tried to surprise you for your birthday by planning a party with the crew. he ended up blabbering the entire plan by mid-afternoon. he is just terrible at secrets. but he loves to spoil you. anything you even show the slightest bit of interest in, he needs to buy it (doesnt matter if he has to risk getting charged a few billion berries by nami). he is super sweet and he shows that mostly through action and words. so, if you wanna do any fancy-shmancy thing, just organise it yourself and call luffy later.

๋࣭ ⭑ how concerned are they with their looks? not very concerned. he has you for girlfriend, you're the most gorgeous woman alive, you love him. does he need to care about anything else? like zoro, after getting in a relationship, he would def get better at just personal maintenance and all. if you like anything like skincare/makeup, best believe he will be the kind of boyfriend that does 3 hour long skincare routines with you just for the heck of it. (you are the reason luffy is an emperor with the nicest skin 😭✊🏼)

💗whole: 

๋࣭ ⭑would they feel incomplete without you? yes. simply put, yes. he will be Devastated (with a capital D) incase you're gone. ofcourse, i see he doesn't seem the type to be stuck in despair forever, but it will be really really hard for him. for a few days, luffy would probably stop being luffy.

i have a personal belief that luffy sucks ass at games. let me explain. it's always the games where the rules are fairly simple where he ends up losing (he then whines and cries and the entire crew kinda pity-laughs it away) but the games with the most brainpower required? he wins those. easily. (he always just gets lucky one way or the other.) i also hc him as the kind of guy who wins chess by eating the pieces so, do what you must with this information 👏🏼

Cater - hm.. putting on an act for everyone? people pleaser? so its like. all of those little 'acts' and 'personas' he puts on are sort of 'him' in a sense. but its also not him at the same time. (like how the clones arent actually him because they're just a creation of his magic. but they are him in a way, too right?)

Jade - acting like the more calmer and reasonable of the twins, even though he can be just like floyd, if a bit more dangerous considering he can get under your skin, get you trust him, that he just wants to 'help you'. and you tell him all your secrets. and then it 'shocks your heart' when he reveals his true colors. (like bruh. his halloween groovification message was literally, "Oooh, I love it when you flee in terror. It makes me want to chase you!")

Floyd - i don't know. uhhh. in his lab coat(?) vignette there's this moment where a guy bumps into him, is like 'hEY WHO DO YOU--' and then realizes its floyd and backs off. basically the guy who intimidates them to make them weaker, ig? terrorizing them. 'binding the heart' in fear. i mean he'll still hurt them ofc, but the point is is that he's the scary one, jade's the 'calm' one, thats his image to people. i dont know him nearly well enough to really get it.

Kalim - wishing for everyone to be happy. to dance and sing and forget about all the troubles. throwing parties and feasts to cheer them up (and granting them relief when needed). although it doesn't always end well and his attempts can end up 'useless', like how oasis maker is 'useless' when people already have easy access to water. but at other points desperately needed.

Jamil - turning him into the 'master' and the other the 'servant'

Vil - planting 'curses' in plain sight. masking it. disguising it. acting. like putting on makeup to change something. maybe. possibly. (this is weak) maybe a false reassurance. a mask.

Epel - accepting who he is (that he's short and seen as 'cute'. and so using it to his advantage.) like, seeming 'soft and dainty' but actually a guy who can beat someone up. like, 'you'll just go to sleep..' (and then the crimson part of slumber with a negative meaning. the poison apple. something that looks innocent but is actually harmful.) and then you never wake up again because you were TRICKED HAHAHA /hj

lilia - he reflects a lot about the past imo. overly aware of things and the passing of time. at least in my opinion. how things can pass by so easily. so he takes little bits and pieces to cherish for the rest of his life, and to think back on. a trip back down memory lane, as they say.

Rollo - literally gets set on fire like his brother..?? that thing forever haunting him that its such a big part of him at this point (hating magic and hating what happened.) and him hating himself making himself see him as part of the reason why his brother died, and therefore making him literally the thing that killed him sort of?

- SCENARIO: Ayn is very aloof and he doesn’t drink so he’s not sleeping with anyone he doesn’t know well; you two are very close. You’re in the music club and trying to pick up/get better at an instrument and you pestered Ayn into giving you tips until you became so close that he basically acted as your tutor. Tbh you’re probably already in a situationship and you’ve probably kissed a few times but nothing crazy, you’ve never pushed it that far— well that is until last night. You hadn’t seen each other in a long time just because you were both busy and Ayn missed you so he had you come to his hideout and well shit happened

- He wakes up first but is incredibly out of it like there’s still drool dribbling out of his mouth and he’s only really half awake; he kinda looks dead in his stupor

- He’d probably just pull you closer, lay on you and go back to sleep to be so honest; he can order takeout for the two of you later

- He tangles himself with you like unbrushed hair. His legs and arms are all wrapped around you and he’s trying to get as close to you as possible and his breath is tickling your neck with how much he nudges his head against you and gives you a quick kiss before he goes back to sleep

- His bedhead usually isn’t messy because he doesn’t move a lot in his sleep but after last night his hair is more messy than usual because of how much he’s pushing his head against you lol

- Even if you wake up he won’t let you get up. Go back to bed, he missed you; he just kisses you until you give up but if you’re hungry he’ll order something from his phone

- Likes if you trace parts of his body while you’re laying down like his collarbones or running your thumb down his chest. Keep it below the head though, otherwise the ticklish feeling will bother him while he’s trying to sleep (he’s such a princess 🙄)

- Is actually pretty chill about the whole thing; it was only a matter of time in his opinion and will be a little confused if you’re super embarrassed because you’ve already made out before it’s not that crazy

- He thinks the situation is pretty simple honestly he’s just gonna invite you on dates and confess which does admittedly take a bit of time because he wants to do something special and you’re a little nervous when he doesn’t confess or anything but when he does it makes the wait 100% worth it

- SCENARIO: OKAY. I’ve thought about this one deeply because Cael is like I think a confirmed virgin so he would have to be suuuperr close with you to want to hook up. So in my delusional little head you are a very old friend of his who helped him basically raise MC. You weren’t formally her step parent but you helped out where you could and ended up becoming close with the two. At first Cael was just grateful to have you for help and as a dear friend but as time went on he started to notice you more and more. You lived together and seeing you do random domestic things or just normal mundane things like doing laundry or gardening or sth was driving him insane. It just built up and randomly one day when you were getting ready for the day he suddenly kissed the back of your neck and confessed and things just escalated

- You wake up first and Cael is just lying so peacefully. He’s never felt more refreshed to be honest

- His bedhead is a little messy but it’s not really noticeable except for the bangs and he snores but he doesn’t really drool, doesn’t move much either; moves in between long intervals

- You run your fingers through his hair and kiss his forehead as he sleeps and you notice him crack a smile (he woke up a few minutes after you but he wanted to see what you’d do while he slept so he could tease you later)

- He loves it when you hold his face in your hands. His cheeks heat up and he has a small smile as he opens his eyes; such a small form of affection makes him feel so warm inside and he can’t help it

- He’d take your hands in his and kiss them then leading you to the kitchen so you can make breakfast together

- After all. That his infatuation is boosted like x10 like he starts drawing you just doing normal activities, thinking about you while in the middle of a battle among many other things

- However, he hasn’t slept with you since that night because he’s really worried

- He doesn’t really know how nor does he think he should pursue a committed relationship with you because tbh he could die at any moment and he has enough responsibility as is; it sounds harsh but he doesn’t want to have to worry about you and vice versa. It’ll take a lot of convincing and persistence to get him to realize that no matter what you’ll be by his side and that you want to take care of him and MC too— that you will always care about him no matter how much he distances himself

Its not the worst ML episode but I just HATE preachy episodes. If I wanted this kind of content, Id watch captain planet. Like yes it is important to recycle and reduce use of plastics... but this episode made me want to actually go downstairs and get a plastic water bottle for a drink just because of how annoyed I was.

The action in this wasnt bad and I actually found the King of Plastic funny until they redeemed him.

I think I rate it lower than it actually is because of personal preferences but it is just annoying

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Omg what did Elias do to you why would you do this to him😖 though locking him in a room is marginally better than having him sit still. He will either sims idle animation (start stretching, doing push ups, singing to himself) or he'll pull out his phone to kill boredom by taking selfies, get mesmerised by his reflection, then stare at it for the next hour without blinking. I feel like w him being camarilla this actually happens very often (not him being locked in a room but more like. A lot of waiting) and he genuinely can't take it. If he has to speak to one of his superiors and he has to wait outside for more than 5 minutes he'll start wandering around, get lost, and force some elder with much better things to do to come fetch him.

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

Diamila > kourtney kardashian 100% they speak the exact same way. She tries to tone her valley girl accent down for important meetings but fails miserably all the time. She speaks very slowly and drags her vowels out > literally very otherwise menacing monologues dragged down by the trisha paytas mh at the end of every word. Apart from that she definitely rehearses everything she says first, 100% walking back and forth repeating her speech to herself outloud in the empty camarilla bathrooms, literally has Elias workshop jabs, speeches and threats with her at home. She's ventrue goofy in a way other people very much can see. The only reason no one makes fun of her to her face is that she's the ventrue whip and everyone knows she probably has a higher vampire bodycount than the entire SI (vtmb fledgling + working as a scourge/hound for 20 years)

Brooklyn > Sza 100%. Not only because i think her voice is super hot and I associate kill bill with brooklyn but also because of the insane pathological lying. They would both lie about being marine biologists. She's eloquent and borderline poetic when she speaks, smiles a lot, will say the most fucked up violent shit while beaming and giggling cutely 💯 does naut think before speaking but the times she does is when she's about to say something truly unhinged

Elias > my voice claim for him literally a fucking rpdr winner😭 sasha velour. They have such a nice voice and it fits Elias super well i love how deep it is while not being ooc for him and i ❤️❤️❤️ vocal fries they're so cute > here's what I'm talking about . Elias also speaks slowly while dragging his vowels ouuuuut, he does naut ever think for more than a split second before opening his mouth. Despite this, he's very very good at talking, could convince anyone to do almost anything while making them think it's still their own idea. Definitely intersperses his sentences with "like" a lot.

Eden > Welket Bungué. Why shouldn't he speak with a portuguese accent. Mainly because I decided on Eden's design after seeing him in crimes of the future and though I've never really referenced him while drawing him i can and will steal his voice. Deep and warm voice, unlike my other ocs he is NICE he speaks to spread positivity and kindness peace and love🙏 he's also an anarch figure head so he might spur people on to do incredible violence but thats normal camarilla are doing worse. Was naut born in the us but moved there as a teen

Sai deserves love. Ino deserves support post war. They can deal with it together, be there for each other. Sai can learn a lot about expression from her, Ino can help him on his way to becoming more like the self he wants to be, not the one he was told to be.

This one’ll be a bit different since I already completed it by the time of typing this but I enjoyed this chapter! It’s been a while since I’ve played danganronpa or watched akudama drive so I forgot how,, unhinged Kodaka was. I also didn’t really follow the marketing material so I thought we were legitimately being introduced to the main cast LOL. Melami’s design was really cute… Yuma and Shinigami’s relationship reminds me of Ryuki and Tama’s from AINI, so that’s to say I enjoyed them.

When first broke into the infirmary I felt like there was some fuckery going on cause the body burned too quickly but I thought that was just a suspense of disbelief moment… I was expecting a simple first case so I was actually tricked. The cart switch was kinda a weird plot point but I didn’t feel cheated tbh.

I enjoyed the gameplay of the labyrinth but it felt a little lonely compared to the class trials. Not gonna hold this against the game yet though cause I know later on other character’s will join you.

Game’ll be fun if it keeps this up!

Danganronpa made things super personal by making the cases about characters you’ve spent hours learning about and ace attorney lets you meet the chapters cast for a while before any dramatics. Raincode hasn’t really offered that in this chapter (it kinda did in ch0 by introducing a fake cast).

where do i even begin with this mess of a man

he doesn't take you seriously and sometimes pranking him backfires

it's like he has a sixth sense to know when someone's lying or like just kidding around

so he will not i repeat will NOT jump in to save you the first few minutes of your "drowning"

i just want to put it out there and say the moment he sees you flailing he'd prolly laugh a bit and maybe throw in a "you're doing great sweetie" and just all together watch you from the side

though his reaction would depend on how well you play the part of drowning so it could really go two ways

Route A: if he doesn't find your drowning believable he'd just watch you with a smug smile/ smirk and would tell you not to over do it cause you'll just embarass yourself or would straight up tell you after you'd flail around for a while that you put on a good show and it almost had him fooled (not)

would demonstrate how believable drowning would look like

Route B: If you pulled of the drowning bit all too well he'd panic

like the minute you stop flailing and actually start sinking and he sees your panic stricken face he'd get nervous for a bit he'd let out a "alright goodjob that was some good acting you can go up now"

and when you dont thats when he'd really panic and would start feeling like a douche for ignoring since you really did need his help and he was just playing it for a joke

though the moment he does find out it was a prank and you actually could swim

boy feels cheated and betrayed that you conned him and is really whiny and pouty about it afterwards

demands an apology but you demand one back since he was your boyfriend he should've been more protective what if you were really drowning

overall route b is super eventful

(Bonus) Route C: Nothing would happen since he'd coddle you the moment you two got into the pool

"(n/n)," you feel arms wrap around your middle from behind, knowing exactly who it was you leaned back to relax to the braided teen's touch

"you look cute in your little outfit, care to give me a little twirl?" he says eliciting a giggle out of you which made him run his fingers along your sides to prolong the laugh he loved to hear from you so much. Ran had always been quite playful whether you guys were alone or not and it always left a lot of people who knew him perplexed to just how much he was akin to a puppy whenever you were around. Though him being playful doesn't mean it was all harmless, no, in fact, you could swear that this man would give you a heart attack with all the little stunts he's pulled on you over the past months and even before you both even started dating.

You squeal when you feel his arms dip from your side to scoop you up by your thighs. Heat pools up in your body when he pulls you flush towards his chest and his rumbled laugh sent tremors down your body

"Ran?" you ask nervously as you see a smirk spreads across his face, "Ran baby? you aren't thinking of throwing me over are you?" your voice comes out shaky as your gaze darts from him and to the cold pool "What was that?" He chuckles out while he rocks you in his arms another chuckle leaving his lips whenever you'd squeal when he rocked you closer to the edge of the pool "Please I can't swim" You jest clinging on his loose swim shirt with a whine

"Nonsense" Ran laughs out before giving the crown of your head a kiss before throwing you towards the pool in one big swing.

You squeal before you submerge in water. While underneath the clear pool a wicked smirk plays at your lips deciding to play with the jest you had said earlier about not knowing to swim, maybe then he'd feel guilty about yeeting you in

'See how you like it you purple giant' you think to yourself as you flail around the pool moving up towards the surface to call for his name in desperation before flailing and willing your body to sink

Ran just shakes his head and laughs, his arms folded over his chest, "try harder babe and then I might actually think of coming to your rescue" mirth and amusement playing in his eyes as he sees you sink down the pool

Ran counts down to a minute knowing you'd have to be out of breath eventually and when does see you resurface you had the most wicked glare he'd ever seen on your features and a pout on your lips.

"It was a nice try though sweetheart!!" he cooed and going over to the swimming benches to grab you a towel and crouching down to you.

He laughs when you turn your face away from him with a small 'hmph' and he just laughs wiping away the water droplets still by your face

"You're infuriating," you say, "What if I was actually drowning you jerk!" splashing him with an arm flick

He wipes himself with the towel he'd brought for you, "well to be fair, I know what dorwning looks like and you my dear are a terrible actor" and to that respknse you only look at him with an even bigger glare of accusation and he bi colored hair male raises his hands up in defense, "What's with the look? Don't tell me you mean to think I actually drowned someone?" he questions and you continue to stare hard at him

"Hey now it's not what you think, Rindou wasn't the best swimmer as a kid and I had to save his ass from drowning a couple of times like a dependable big bro!" You still look at him unconvinced and felt somewhat bad having ran out rindou that way. "Still, you could've showed a little more care to your drowning girlfriend," you pout and he rolls his eyes in response, "all you did was stand there and laugh like a meanie!"

He puts the towel on one of the benches and looks over at you with a smirk, "drowning you say?" his eyes held a hint of mischief and it had you scampering to take steps backwards, "I'll show you what drowning looks like!" he says before jumping into the pool himself

He swims over to your direction and hugs you close, "I can give you a drowning demo if you'd like" he says playfully while you splash him around but the taller male didn't budge, "You really are a headache" you sigh in defeat knowing there was no stopping your boyfriend "You love me though," he says digging his chin down your head and lifted you up over his shoulder and dropping you backward with a laugh

much like his brother, rindou is pretty observant but all rational decision leaves his body the moment you're even a hairs length near danger

as much as he may seem calm and collected he is very protective towards those he consider family to him and in those protective moments you could see a more desperate and a more vulnerable side to him very different from the character he shows in his exterior

as a boyfriend you can best believe that he'd always keep you in arms length and away from potential danger

he'd like to believe that he can't be easily fooled but he isn't as confident as his brother in reading or seeing into cons or pranks

he's smart enough to know you were pranking him at first like he did have his suspicion that it was a prank at first since there was no way you didn't know how to swim right? after all you were the one who suggested to go to the pool

but the next minute thoughts of his insecurity of his inability to read into pranks would cloud over him and he feels a coil in his stomach

the moment you start to sink does nothing to calm his anxieties and something inside him snaps and he's rushing towards where you are in the pool and jumps not caring if he even was dressed in swim attire yet or if he still wore his shoes or had on an expensive watch

none of that mattered right now what mattered was getting to you and knowing if you were safe

the moment you both pull up you'd see the worry, desperation, fear and a hint of insecurity pool in his eyes

emotions so raw and intense paint within those purple orbs and its a foreign view so for his sake please don't tell him you did it as a prank

Today you were on a mission to test your boyfriend. You know your boyfriend had this stoic outward demeanor but for the time you had been dating him you've known him as a total softie, just don't say it to his face though he'd deny it greatly. Now, it wasn't every day you get to have an opportunity to get a rise out of Rindou so you had really made quite the decision to test out what he'd do if you would drown on your little pool date.

You had this idea of yours in mind since the night before when he asked where you both wanted to go for today's date and you suggested the pool and kept quipping up jokes that you weren't a confident swimmer and asking if you could count on him for tomorrows date which you only received a scoff and a roll of a response

And today, the d-day you've went the extra mile of making it believable by only swimming close to the pool ledge and only going to where your feet could touch the ground while rindou watched you from the sides since he wasn't exactly in a mood for a dip as of the moment having been on what he called a "hell work call" from his annoying older brother

Now Rindou had his suspicions of you ever since the night you asked if you could count on him, it had him thinking you were on to something. And the way you'd paddle towards him but then realize what you're doing then opting to water hopping to where he was had him smirking at this game you were playing.

He shook his head at this, there was no way he was playing into your plan, he has you figured out, at least he thinks so.

So when he sees you run towards him who was across the pool, "Rin-rin" you call towards him and slip and your eyes gloss with a panic-stricken eyes making contact with his as you fall to the deeper parts of the pool had him second guess his judgment

He'd stand frozen, arms weighing like cement and his breathing heavy. It takes him a moment to realize you haven't resurfaced and he runs to where you were.

He sees you thrashing around the water and then the water stills, and the bubbles fade and he wastes no time into jumping into the pool and pulled your figure up with him.

He feels you shaking in his arms, "shit, im sorry i took so long" he mutters holding you close to his chest. "don't fucking run around like that" you could feel the way he was breathing heavily and the way his heart was thundering in his chest as he holds you and at this moment you don't know which of you was breathing heavier

Rindou sighs drawing circles on your shoulders as you both held eachother then switches to carrying you to the steps of the pool and sits you down in silence. You haven't looked at him, scared of the face that would greet you once you did so you kept your head down

"don't do anything stupid" he mutters and you don't fail to notice the tremble in his voice and caused your heart to pinch

You look at him and gasp at his appearance, he still wore his pullover shirt but now it was drenched sticking to his skin, the new watch he'd just saved up for still on his wrist but what had you sinking in guilt was the look he had on his face.

Desperate, scared and it was filled with a fire you didn't know what it was. He was having an internal battle with himself he was thinking that any second or minute later he could've lost you. He thought you were just playing around but now...

you see the way he clenched his jaw and fist and you hold your head down, "i'm sorry" you whisper out but you didn't know for which reason you were sorry, you were sorry that you caused him an inner turmoil, you were sorry for thinking pranking him was a good idea, you were sorry for taking it too far but you really were scared.

You had meant to test him yes but the fall was an accident and it really did have you feeling scared and your body didn't know how to respond. Your body froze up and you don't know what would've happened if Rindou hadn't come for you

your shoulders shook, "I'm sorry rin"

"It's fine"

He gets out of the pool and wraps you in a towel avoiding your gaze "you were scared right?" he says as he continues to dry you off "I was too"

You spend the rest of your pool date close to him and he swears to himself he'd pay more attention to anything that would happen to you. Needless to say, he ends up not leaving your side the whole day.

so the moment you'd fall into the pool you'd best believe he'd jump in straight after you like regardless if you know how to swim or not

you could always count on him to be your knight in shining armor

100% would ask if you were alright and if you still wanted to swim, and if you prefer you guys could still go on a date somewhere else less hazardous

he'd be more attentive after that and would always direct you elsewhere if the floor be wet or slippery

my boy wouldn't leave your side for the end of the day and tend to your every need

i see him apologizing for having you slip in his negligence and promises that it wont happen again and if you were scared he'd understand 🥺🥺🥺

He'd carry you around if you felt your shoes were uncomfortable, he would sneak out in the middle of the night just to see if you were doing okay, hell he'd even willingly buy you a meal if you said you were hungry at 2am and today you had asked for a pool day, there was no need to tell him twice, what you want you'd get

It kinda did make you feel bad that Inupi had always been spoiling you dirty but he reassures he does it from the goodness of his heart, doesn't stop you from pampering him either as a form of compensation

You remembered the way Koko would fake gag at you guys for "acting like lovesick fools" which you would always playfully stick your tongue out and him doing the same while Inupi shakes his head in your childish antics.

Anyways today was a holiday and what better way to spend a holiday than with your boyfriend at the pool! At least that's what you say enough to convince him, though he really didn't really need the convincing he'd be fine anywhere as long as he was with you

You ran around the pool in awe while he follows you from behind, a soft smile on his face whenever you'd look back at him with glee. He'd never get tired of that look of yours, he reasons

"Oooo I think we could swim over on that place," you tell him pointing towards the distance to where there was a perfect amount of sun and shade

He nods with a smile as he lets you lead the way, always making sure he was behind you because he got antsy whenever you weren't in his line of sight

On the way to pick the perfect pool spot, you turn over to ask him something but lose your footing. Your eyes widened as you felt weightlessness and tipped over to the pool's side "Sei!" you squealed reaching your arms towards him to prevent the fall

The complete panic in your eyes has Inupi who was a few steps behind you run to grab your arm before plummeting but to no avail. His breath hitches when you make a big splash upon impact in the pool and wastes no time into jumping in for you disregarding all the bags and pool floats he was holding

Pulling you close in his arms as you resurface, you bring a fist to your mouth coughing bit and he sighs in relief.

"I'm sorry were you scared?" he asks, his sunflower-colored hair had droplets falling from them. He looks like an angel in this light. "I should've jumped in sooner"

At that you laugh knowing he probably jumped just a millisecond after you fell, "You didn't have to jump in after me Sei" He only shakes his head when you say this and pulls you closer into his arms

"Have to protect you" the words he says is muffled by your hair

"Really!" you say trying to lighten the situation, "Thank you though you really are my hero!" He smiles fondly when you bury yourself in his embrace

Right after you both had gotten out of the pool he inspects you thoroughly but you just laugh it off much to his dismay but your hands reached for the towel and rubbed it along his hair and he sighs, "You sure you're not hurt?"

"Cause we could always go on a date somewhere else if you don't feel like swimming anymore," he says and turns to look you in the eye and it's your turn to send him a smile

"I don't mind, as long as it's with you!" you say and it fills his chest with an unexplained warmth

"Actually, why don't we just go get icecream," you piped looking at him expectantly like a puppy.

Who was he to deny you of that, for you, he was a willing lovesick fool
