An old friend moved away. At the weekend, we took the train to the seaside to see their new place. When we arrived they were stood in the station and all ten of us ran to place our arms around each other. A passing stranger took a photo of us tangled with the sun streaming in. We walked on the sand, offered each other shells, tenderly held hands and shouted over the sea, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, ate chips, sang badly. Standing looking out at the waves, E came up behind me and put their hands on my shoulders. They said, 'we are so lucky'. It was restorative, so documenting it here 🐚

Lol saw this brainrot blog where every single post is pushing people to go vegan

Like ok u do what u want you've clearly never been to an actual farm

They're delusional if they think more lives are harmed in like milk than in quinoa or something like that

Calves are allowed to feed on their mother's milk when they're young (cuz trust me if you wanna get milk out of them, you do not want an unhappy cow) and only then they are milked

Now if you think it's the birthright of the calf to feed on its mother's milk for any longer, you're welcome to try (spoiler alert: the calf will chew on its mother till the mother bleeds)

Farmers know what they're doing, don't make yourself look dumb

just a note for fellow studyblrs! there's been an uptick of explicit content from bots clogging up the tags lately and i wanted to make a note about reporting them! when you go to report these, you actually shouldn't be reporting for community labels or sexual content, but for spam! they're using a bunch of inaccurate tags to try to get a wider spread of hits on their content and that isn't allowed on tumblr, so remember to report for that instead! it should be an option when searching by tag or when a tagged post is suggested on your main dash.

Nagisa on the rare occasion that he doesn’t get enough sleep, is more grouchy than usual for sure. Like it’s not really noticeable at first but he has less of a tolerance for things that annoy him. Terasaka’s being too loud? Nagisa might snap, depending on how much sleep he got. I think the people he sit around aren’t rlly ppl who get on his nerves though, so he’s pretty good for the most part. I think Nagisa is not that self aware tbh 💀 like he thinks he functions the same with or without enough sleep but everyone always notices how much more grouchy he gets and know that he didn’t sleep enough. When they point it out he’s like a 😦😦 no way how did you know 🤨🤨 bitch you just told karma to shut his mouth about delinquent season nO WAY you don’t notice how you act. He also usually knows when to shut his mouth around his mom, but when he’s sleepy he tends to lash out more at her - which he regrets like two seconds later.

Karma is always not running on sleep… which may explain why he’s a little menace. But when he’s truly lacking, like at Asano level, he’s also another grouch 😭 it’s less noticeable, like with Nagisa, but he’s just easier to aggravate as well. And he’s like right next to terasaka so he’s telling the kid to shut up more often, which makes terasaka yell at him more, which in turn annoys karma more. Karma’s usually pretty quiet so I think most people (besides terasaka and koro sensei maybe) would be pretty aware that he’s clearly grumpy, because he kinda wears his annoyed expression on his face, and they’d know not to converse with him too much that day. I think that he’ll skip class and nap by the trees - he will be sleepy in class as he drowns out Korosensei but karma will NOT sleep in class, he might act like he is but he would never sleep in a class filled with assassins. (He’s mainly afraid of nakamura taking pictures as blackmail AND terasaka and nakamura drawing on his face)

Kayano, my girl, my actor, gets by pretty well with little sleep. She was a child actor, and we know how sleep deprived they are despite child labour laws, so I think she knows how to act just fine even with little sleep. She’s kinda used to not sleeping well I think, so however she acts normally is just how she is when she’s sleep deprived. I think she has rlly high energy when she acts as kayano bc she’s like living off of sugar and coffee literally, so she’s rlly hyper with that diet. And then once she’s like stopped “acting” and gets her first like proper night of sleep after revealing her identity, she mellows down a lot more bc she gets enough sleep and eats better.

It's been a loooong ass time since I got a post out and it's been a lot of reasons mainly because travelling for a summer school knocked the fucking energy outta me and I got hit with a 2 piece combo of jet lag and burnout right when I get back home 😭.

Travelling solo international for the first time was really really fun and I loved it! It was scary at first cause you had to do everything alone and my anxiety went brr until I had to do it lol.

I met some of the nicest and most amazing people on the trip and once I apply for my master's program I wanna visit them once before we all get swamped with work and life once again.

I'm swamped with soo many things rn and I think rebuilding a routine might be the best first step in all this!

Started watching ninjago with mah friends.

Me and one of them have seen some of the first seasons years ago and one of us is seeing it for the first time.

Yeah, I know we have a test later today and I'm supposed to be studying with my friends cause our two classes got cancelled this morning. But-

Safe to say, I was Shooked when we started the first episode cause I remember watching the pilot episodes and was so sad and confused as to why my skeleton buddies weren't there.

A chill shopping day with a friend today! I got these adorable ramekins, and this Starbucks mug was on sale and adorable so I had to get it. Not pictured is an Enormous hair and skin care haul from TJ Maxx (about $200 for $30! Can you believe it?!?), as well as some very sensible pants. I'm currently cozied up in my living room crocheting while watching some TV, and just relaxing and being happy really 😊.

P.S. - Currently reading the first book I'm gonna review on here!!! It's nothing new if you like book reviews like I do, but I wanted to read it anyway! I hope to have the review up within 2 weeks!
