Ellie's Closet: Satan edition

⊹ content: these are Ellie's redesigns of the brothers' closets after she burns all their current clothes. Ellie's bestie, the Devildom's angriest cat lover and book enthusiast, Satan is next. ⊹ warnings: none. ⊹ a/n: Ellie is my first Obey Me OC. You can visit their Devilgram HERE! The comments are written from Ellie's perspective. Though I love all the characters, Ell has a variety of feelings. I did these outfit re-dos a long time ago so some images may be familiar. Post set up inspired partially by the Princess Diaries makeover scene.

Satan: Tops

⊹ Dark academia seems like the logical conclusion, but Ellie doesn't think that fully suits Satan's personality. Yes, he's a little mysterious and book-ish, but he's also cute? And sweet? And precious? So, his new style aesthetic inspo incorporates soft boy. ⊹ Sweater vests are a definite - if they also have cute patterning, that's a bonus. They can be paired with plain t-shirts or a more traditional button up or just worn on their own. ⊹ Soft sweaters are also going to be a staple. And yes, Ellie will force Satan to wear the sleeves properly. ⊹ Material focus: cotton, knits, satin/silk, crepe, cashmere

Satan: Bottoms

⊹ We're sticking to a classic trouser or jean for bottoms - Satan also spends a lot of time sitting to read books, so some flexibility in the bottoms is important. ⊹ No patterns or fun textures for the bottoms. The simplicity is a good fit for Satan and also allows for more mixing and matching to happen. ⊹ Expect lots of cuffing of pants. We're avoiding slim/skinny cuts here - straight, boot cut, or wide leg is the way to go! ⊹ Material focus: crepe, denim, corduroy, tweed

Satan: Accessories

⊹ As Satan grows more comfortable managing his wrath, jewellery will be worn more often. But at the beginning of Ellie's time in the Devildom, jewellery is kept very simple. NO RINGS. Probably just one simple necklace. ⊹ A book harness is a must. Practical for both traveling to and from RAD classes and personal use. ⊹ Footwear will be a mixture of loafers, sneakers, and boots, prioritizing black leather for cohesion and mixing for multiple outfits. ⊹ Material focus: leather, gold

Solomon: Tops

⊹ The only other item escaping the great clothing fire (in addition to Mammon's original jacket) is Solomon's cape, but purely for sentimental reasons. His original outfits feel wizard-costumey when Ellie wants to see him in more sorcerer/witch-esque looks. ⊹ Ellie is not opposed to a cape, but it needs to have more dimension and it is to be worn STRICTLY for going out. Sol is not wearing the cape all effing day. ⊹ His main tops offer variety in cut and fit - some are a more form-fitting with pockets of sheer or semi-sheer to show of his pact marks, while others are soft and ruffled with a more witchy aesthetic. Silver beading is incorporated often. ⊹ Material focus: velvet, cotton, mesh, lace

Solomon: Bottoms

⊹ We're sticking to black but adding interest through materials and shape. ⊹ Pant cuts vary widely - some straight/boot cut, others bell bottom! Ellie is also incorporating overlays made of chiffon and lace that can be added with a belt. ⊹ Instead of that shimmery, magic sparkle added in the tops, Ellie made sure it was added to the bottoms to give that whimsical feel when Solomon walks. ⊹ Material focus: cotton, crepe, chiffon, velvet, lace

Solomon: Accessories

⊹ Beaded, dangly belts that are black and silver are the main accessory. They are also very easy to add to, so Sol can carry charmed magical items around without it being too obvious. ⊹ Ellie loves a statement glove and Sol is one of the few people where is actually makes sense for gloves to be worn consistently (as an author aside, in my oc game lore, pact marks glow when you tap into the pact to perform magic which is why I am putting Sol specifically in a lot of mesh/sheer stuff) ⊹ We're sticking to mostly boots for footwear (with the occasional loafer). Ellie loves the intricate soles and they feel very apt for the elusive and secretive sorcerer. ⊹ Material focus: silver, leather, mesh, velvet

I drew and colored Abby today. I finally settled on her ethnicity (Mexican) which was putting me off drawing her for a while, but whatever, now I feel a bit more confident.

I usually depict her in blacks and reds, but today i felt like using these gel pens i bought so put her in some good purples and blues.

I snuck in some Monster High aesthetic in here, and her tattoo is a reference to back when she was a fan character for a different otome (Guard Me Sherlock - NTT Solmare) (She used to be my fan kid for Moriarty before I found out I suck at writing for that fandom, so her story was deleted but i liked her enough to keep using her body and personality).

I actually really like when they use CGs to make posters to use in your room and having chibis and character chibi themed items (i.e. that little James balloon). It feels a little like having game merch, except that the merch exists in game and you can't wear them all at once.

The first thing to do is be updated on iOS 14 if you aren’t already

I learned about the widgets form my sister and videos mostly and figured out my layout by playing around with what I liked

Diavolo: Tops

⊹ Diavolo's original outfits are not too bad, but similar to Lucifer's, they are VERY boring. Diavolo is bright and joyful, and despite his royal blood, he deserves to add some of his cheerful personality to his looks. ⊹ Ellie is focusing on keeping the "royal" aesthetic present with bold reds, golds, and black, but adding the fun with textures and additions to the tops. ⊹ Tops remain very structured with broad shoulders and full-length sleeves, allowing for looser fits in the bottoms. ⊹ Material focus: crepe, velvet, silk/satin, gold

Diavolo: Bottoms

⊹ Tops that extend into the bottoms (capes, long blazers, etc.) is a staple in Dia's new closet. ⊹ The bottoms will be mostly plain and solid colour, but some will incorporate similar detailing found on the tops. ⊹ There is more variety in fit and a bit less structure on the bottoms. Diavolo also spends the majority of his time sitting in meetings or out in the Devildom, so comfort is prioritized. ⊹ Material focus: leather, crepe, velvet

Diavolo: Accessories

⊹ A LOT of chains, gems/jewels, beading, and bold gold appliques will be used to add more colour and style to Dia's looks. ⊹ Belts with lots of dangles will be a staple accessory to add interest and draw the eye around his outfits. ⊹ Ellie also added a few corsets to layer over blazers and button-ups that are plain. They add additional structure and colour, making the overall fit more interesting. ⊹ Material focus: gold, leather, gems/jewels/beads
