I overhauled this chapter to make it flow better into the end of the story and added all the illustrations I've been posting in dribs n' drabs on tumblr as I finished them.
Now with more spontaneous vomiting!
Billy and his Grrrl go to the fair.
White discovers the perks of being a hostage
→ → → READ IT ON AO3
Please read and comment if you are so moved
this is the most romantic scene I've ever written...
She unbuckled herself and wiped some vomit from his mouth with her hand, “You gave me hope that not everything is going to be a pile of shit forever,” Alison struggled to express herself, however inelegantly, “And that’s reason enough for me to love you. So I said it— I love you.”
Billy was delirious, “I threw up a lot.”
“I know. It was awesome.”
“Does this mean you’ll stay with me after graduation?”
“Let’s get you cleaned up, cowboy.”
In this chapter...
Pete taken hostage by his own fan club militia and made an offer he can't refuse. He could refuse it, but that would be rude.
Billy has a weird dream but not a sexy-type weird dream.
Alison and Billy spill their emotional guts out on very different carnival rides.
References to things that only people in their 50s know about that will baffle you.
Vomit.

i love the bias + the fan pairings so much because on the surface its very "oh, well, the bias just has to fall for the fan and then its happily ever after" but no! its way more fun than that!
the fan isnt in love with the bias. in fact, the fan doesnt view this world as reality, nor do they even view their bias as a human. the fun part of this pairing is the fan having to recognize the world they live in as their new reality and the people around them as people! the bias falling for the fan is just part one, the fan falling for the bias as an Actual Human Being is just as important an element

Hello my sillies I come barring question
Opinion on fanfic?? For both because im curious
I don't read them. I've written some, though.
It can be like a love letter to a creator. Their work inspired you to create. Though there are also some that put the nametags on top of generic protagonists that have nothing in common with the actual work. I don't know how to feel about those. It depends, really.
But if you think about it, everything is a fan fiction to some extend. If you're religious enough, that is.
Or if you believe in Simpsons and SpongeBob since the writers of those were on a different level.
Coda's answer:
If it doesn't hurt the creator - why not.

Take Me to the Pilot
As promised, I’m now beginning to bring over my older One Piece fics from FFN to AO3. Some other stuff might end up migrating as well in the process, but for now, One Piece!
Take Me to the Pilot - 3.9k words - originally posted August 2, 2008 - Ace and Blackbeard's game of cat-and-mouse, if it took place in Las Vegas circa 1958-1961
Read on AO3: [here]
