I think this is about Penelope and him.

Obviously, their marriage bed is made from an Olive tree. If it's just about Athena then why are there two mentioned? Why did Homer mention two when he could've just said he took refuge under one? Or a completely different type of tree? Why mention them being intertwined?

One an olive: Penelope, who has been with society and "safe" in Ithaca ("Safe" because of the suitors)

One wild: Odysseus, who has dealt with literal monsters and immortals and has just escaped from Calypso. Literally naked and filthy, a "wild man".

"which grew from the same stem with their branches": Them both being together at first, before being separated.

"so closely intertwined that when the winds blew moist not a breath could get inside, nor could the rain soak right through to the earth.": Despite being separated, they are still "intertwined". Whether you want to think of it as them being likeminded or simply connected, even though they are apart, nothing could get in between them. 🥺

I don't know what else Homer could be referring to other than them.

#It's funny to me as even though she's not always mentioned when he retells his tale to the Phaeacians. The narrator mentions her CONSTANTLY #Because even if Odysseus doesn't say it. I’m just saying, but that “I’m not trying to seduce you. … would you like me to seduce you?” gives me strong Halsin (honestly, also Gale) vibes.

Like just hear me out- He’s not afraid of being forward but he’s also such a warm-hearted caring sweetheart that I’m sure something he says could come off as him being charming, to where Tav teases and laughs it off, saying something like “When you praise me like that it almost sounds like you’re trying to seduce me.”

Halsin might hold his hand up as he does, a slight wave of his wrist as he shakes his head with an embarrassed smile, “oh, I’m not trying to seduce you.” He’d say, before pausing and raising an eyebrow slightly, “…would you like me to seduce you?”

As for Gale- it would definitely come off through his ramblings, blushing and laughing back slightly as he nods his head down as if out of reassurance or embarrassment, “I’m not trying to seduce you” he’d say, before cocking his head slightly, his eyes squinting “…would you like me to seduce you?”

Both different vibes, and yet both things I could hear them saying. Just.. think about it.

qFit was so meant to be a girldad my god. putting on a shitty little crown that he does not like wearing every time he sees sunny because he knows it makes her happy, always looking out for her and keeping her safe, entertaining all of her fantasies and ideas (both him and ramón do this so much), their joint business ventures, decorating together, him constantly taking photos of her and ramón, giving her friendship advice, always getting her the food and drinks she wants. I hope that when tubbo gets back, fit and ramón can still spend as much time with him and sunny cause I'll genuinely miss the little family unit of the three of them after this week is over

let's also not forget that fit has referred to himself as sunny's father and also to ramón and sunny as his children seemingly without even realising it . he really has changed a lot he gets attached QUICK these days
