Kinktober 2023 ~ Raven's Bingo Board is back!

Year 2 let's go! I am so proud of how I jumped into this fandom straight with the kinks and I'm excited to finally show off what I've brewed in my cauldron for October this year. Unlike last time, the blorbos and the kinks have been pre-picked but I have not prepared a single thing! Last time I picked waaaaayyyy too many options and overwhelmed myself and even though I still managed to post over 20 posts, I definitely want get them all this time. I will NOT be posting a bingo story on SUNDAYS, just like last year. I have something far tastier in store for that :)

RULES

Every Monday-Saturday of October starting Monday 2, 2023, at 9 AM EST through the 30th, I'm going to screen record using a Bingo site to generate the numbers to pick the day's blorbo and kink. Then, I have until 11:59 PM to submit a post (ideally in by 8 PM cause I like consistency) - it will either be a one shot, head canon list, small drabble, but I gotta post!

We're playing Black Out Bingo which means we gotta hit EVERY tile in order to "win" the game. Winning the game means hitting every single tile (not posting means I'm fucking myself and everyone over) - and since the Bingo site counts how many calls are made, I've created a list of scenarios that could be the final Halloween Day story based on how quickly it takes to win the game.

The Bingo site can make total of 75 calls, so how many will it take to complete the board? Note: my bingo board's highest number is O-73.

# of calls it takes to win:

25 - 41 calls = creepy graveyard scenario

42 - 58 calls = haunted house scenario

59 - 75 calls = Halloween party/séance gone wrong scenario

The Board: Each blorbo above (or below) a column of kinks is that blorbo's tile. So in this case, BINGO becomes - Law, Killer, Luffy, Kid, Zoro as the respective letters. Law's column is Pocket Pussy, Master Servant, Dirty Talking, Forced Orgasm, Pet Play. And since its Halloween, I'm making an effort to make every story stay in theme for the season.

How many prompts will be posted for each day?

• Three

Do I have to include all the prompts in my work?

• Not at all! Feel free to combine them or to only pick one. We simply ask that you note on your work which Day/Prompt you’re creating for.

Is there a certain structure I have to follow with the prompts?

• The prompts are up for interpretation! Create whatever sparks your inspiration, so long as your work is mainly about JayRoy.

Am I allowed to create anything?

• You can create fanfic, fanart, comics, mood boards, playlists, aesthetics, headcanons, meta, dolls - almost anything you can think of.

• The EXCEPTION: You may NOT take photography of human subjects (including in cosplay) as we have no way of verifying the age and consent of human subjects. Want to take photographs of your Legos or action figures? No prob!

• ALSO: While this is a censorship-free event, using live or photographic/videographic references of minors for artwork is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. If we discover that this has happened, you will be reported to the appropriate authorities. The mods of this event stand firmly against child abuse and exploitation.

Can I have poly and multi ships?

• Yes! All manner of ships are welcome here, so long as your overall work is JayRoy-centric. You can write Kori/Jason/Roy,or whatever poly ships that you like!

Well, look no further! HP Snooze Fest is here for all your sleeping needs 😴 We are a non-anonymous self-posting fest focused on sleeping and dozing. Simply upload your work to the collection or post on Tumblr between Oct 1-Dec 31.

FAQ:

What must be included in the content of a filled prompt? Stephen Strange (any version of him: film, TV, or comics) must be either the main or co-main character. Otherwise, anything goes!

What must be included in the tags of Tumblr and Twitter posts? Please use the hashtag #strangehalloween2023 and the # of the prompt you're filling (i.e. #no6 and/or #witch). On Tumblr, please include additional tags for NSFW and common triggers (see AO3 for examples).

When can I post my prompt fill? In the spirit of the theme, these should be posted in October! We'd prefer if you post prompts the day of or after the day has passed. For example, prompt 10 fills can be posted on or after Oct 10, and preferably not before.

What medium can I use? Anything! Written prose, poetry, gifsets, mood boards, artwork, all is acceptable as a prompt fill. It's all about Stephen Strange in any form he comes in.

Can I combine Strange Tales of Halloween prompts into one submission (i.e. #1 "What was that? Is somebody there?" and #6 witch)? Sure! If you post it on social media, you can use both prompt tags to help us identify it as such.

There are two prompts per day. Do I have to do both? You can use the sentence prompts, the words prompt, or do a mix of them!

Can I use this prompt list with other prompt lists/bingo cards? Absolutely! Combine it with any other event you'd like to use it with.

Are there any limits to how many prompts I can use/have to use? Nope! Participate with one piece or 31 pieces! Do as much as you'd like--we'll love to see it!

Based on voting so far, it’s looking like the majority of y'all:

Want the event to take place from Monday Oct. 23 - Tuesday Oct. 31 (Halloweek + 2 days so the event ends on Halloween)

Want two prompts per day

Don’t mind not voting on prompts and letting the host decide the final prompt list (which would allow y'all more time to get creating!)

There is, however, only a slim majority on the dates of the event. You still have time to vote on scheduling and submit prompts. If you’ve already voted, you can still submit prompts separately here. Welcome to my DBZ Requests event! Thanks to the support of some good friends, I was able to kick off this idea in the spirit of Halloween and will be open to requests for the entire month of October!

The Villains of DBZ are taking over the requests! And they've brought the wicked variants of the saiyans with them. Be as dark, spooky, naughty, and creative with your requests. Or just carve a jack-o-lantern while deciding on Halloween costumes with your favorite villain or saiyan who adores you. So long as they meet the conditions of the theme, anything goes!

We no longer accept simultaneous or multiple submissions. No matter how far we move forward as humans, we are still bound by the instincts and ancestral memories of our animalistic past. None of these are so strong as the fight or flight response. However, there are times when we seem to be perfectly safe, completely at ease and comfortable, when that urge to run from something sneaks up on us. What causes these sensations? Is there something lurking in the darkness? Why is that man giving you the creeps, he’s not even looking at you? And yet, there is something odd. Something instinctual, something you know without fully understanding. We may have moved on, we may have forgotten and left behind those old stories and legends of beasts, voracious monsters, and dark spirits... But they have not forgotten or left us... What We Want The subject matter of parABnormal Magazine is, yes, the paranormal. For us, this includes ghosts, spectres, haunts, various whisperers, and so forth. It also includes shapeshifters and creatures from various folklores. PLEASE NOTE: CREATURES LIKE VAMPIRES, GHOULS, WEREWOLVES, AND ZOMBIES ARE NOT PARANORMAL. Shapeshifters, for the purpose of this magazine, refer to the spiritual shift, not the physical. Think Native American shaman. Paranormal activity centers around the human, not the creature. We do not want stories that involve excessive blood, gore, digestive tracts, and so forth. We also dislike stories with pornographic content. If you write a story with gore or sex, it must be appropriate to the plot and presented well. If you write a dark story, make sure it is spooky. Makes sure it is a story that should be read with all the lights on, with the reader looking over his or her shoulder while turning the pages. Once again, we are not interested in zombie, ghoul, or vampire stories for this publication. No ghouls, no zombies, no vampires. Publishing Details parABnormal Magazine is a print digest [trade paperback format] released quarterly (March, June, September, December) and publishes original stories, articles, art, reviews, interviews, and poetry. love can go wrong. it can lead to loss and anguish, and leave you stunned into a contemplative silence. the theme for this collab is “love stories gone wrong”, in which you write about a sour romance, disguising as a destructive carnage that’s hard to look away from. in other words, a story about failed, ruined, or toxic relationships lacking a happy ending.

🎁 A Bean-cret Santa (2!) ⛄️

A fanart secret santa open to any kind of art medium, any skill level. Drawing, crafting, collages, edits, moodboards -- whatever your specialty is, go for it! The goal is to have fun and create for some new characters/ocs you wouldn't have before. It was a big success last year, I'm excited to run it again :D

You can enter until the end of the month, I'll keep this post pinned on the @beancret-santa blog for reference. I'll send out art assignments within the first days of November. Specifics under the cut

1) If not otherwise specified, I'll give your username to your gifter so they can reach you when it's time to post gifts.

To submit, send me an ask or dm saying you want to participate and request a character to receive as your gift. You can send those here or to the dedicated blog. I'll likely send a dm in reply just to confirm I received it. There are three options for anonymity:

2) You can remain anonymous to everyone else -- just let me know when you send your request. At the end, send me your finished product and I'll post them for you, keeping your ID a secret the entire process. I'll also make sure you see your gift!

3) You can be 100% anonymous, and send this blog an anon ask with your request + some kind of unique identifier (fake name, code word, emoji) and I'll make a public post assigning gifts to each fake name so you can see what you'll be creating. The only issue I need to work out is how to post completed gifts, as you can't send images anonymously... I'll work on that and get back to you...

Any character is welcome to request, including ocs, book/podcast characters without official images, celebrities, popular characters but you're picky about something, etc! If they aren't easily searchable on the internet, try to send pictures or text descriptions for your secret santa to work with. Gifts will only be art of any kind (not writing) so that people can try their hand at new characters and fandoms without any prior knowledge.

You're free to request multiple characters as options to choose from, ships, or groups of characters, but your secret santa is only responsible for drawing one.

I'll officially close submissions on Oct 31. Assignments should be ready within the next few days.

Gifts will be posted on Jan 1. If you think you'll be a few days late, that's fine, just give me a heads up and your receiver will be patient :) If you realize you can't or don't want to participate anymore, that's also fine -- just let me know as soon as you know so I can reassign the gift lol

No nsfw work please. I have nothing against it normally, it can just get sticky especially if things are anonymous and I can't be sure people are 18+

Let me know in your submission if there are any triggers or squicks you're afraid may appear in your gift. No need to give me any personal info, just things that you believe have a possibility of appearing given the character/media you requested, and you don't want.

I will be using a digital randomizer to assign these -- I'll know who has who so that I can facilitate, but I won't have a hand in any of the assignments. (The only thing I will change is making sure there are no repeat pair-ups from last year if you participated before 👍)
