hm. thoughts on mipha? maybe how she thought about the calamity + how she’d think of the other champions (if. you havent answered this already!)

ohoho well :) if you insist

haha as far as the calamity goes she has got. the Dread and she has got it bad. even though some of the other champions' outlook on defeating calamity ganon is optimistic (even gaffen thinks everything is going to be fine), mipha is really...not super confident in the whole thing. she keeps this to herself most of the time, and really thinks she's overthinking it most of the time, but she still has a looming sense of dread about the whole thing. she talks with vah ruta about it occasionally. daruk has told her that the best thing to do about it is to make plans for the future, so she has done a bit of that! they've talked about meeting up on death mountain once everything is over. she tries to keep herself busy with projects. she really likes weaving and crafting in general god I just imagined her weaving a little turtle somewhere on the zora armor throws up. her favorite animal is turtles.

she's afraid of dying and afraid of living and afraid of giving up but can't see herself winning. you know. the general looming horror of existence. embracing your death because you're lonely and the walls you've built around yourself are too terrible to bring down. idk.

she is terrified by the prospect of having to potentially lose her life fighting the calamity, well. she's always lived for other people and doesn't really take her own health or safety in mind much. really funny because she'll absolutely get on other people's cases for doing the same thing she does. if gaffen and her were closer they'd constantly piss each other off bc of this and i think its hilarious

ultimately the only thing that really stays in her mind as a reason to look forward to things is living for people she thinks can be genuine. she loves her little brother because she thinks he can show his feelings where she just. can't. because that would mean not being a fuckin doormat and she thinks she's morally obligated to be one for her people's sake lmao. this is part of the reason shes so obsessed with gaffen because she thought he was a genuine person when he was little and now he's not so she's like. maybe we could learn how to be real people together. or maybe just with ourselves. its more of a subconscious thing she doesnt actively think this but shes such an i can fix him girl. stop

sorry for going on a tangent about mipha I dont even generally like quiet passive characters whose canon personality boils down to love interest I just decided she was a people pleaser and everyone around turned her into a saint when she wasnt and she was never truly known um throws myself into a pit of flames. heaven forbid i read too much into implications. i love women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now where was I. oh yeah the champions.

i've already partially explained her relationship with revali long story short she doesn't like him. example of a guy who needs to shut up Immediately. which isnt to say she wouldnt like to get along with him he seems like a person who has good qualities she just wishes he would shut up, so she gets passive aggressive around him

daruk!! ok they actually do really like each other because how could you not like daruk cmon. he's seen through her polite facade a few times and seen how scared she is so he's tried to help her out a bit and she appreciates it a lot :] (yea I know gaffen and mipha both like him its that magnetic extrovert guy charm and I really like introvert-extrovert dynamics)

daruk and urbosa are actually good friends lmao so daruk has passed some of what he knows onto her. so yea mipha also likes her. appreciates her advice quite a bit they train together sometimes!! shes really interested in gerudo jewelry as well she has a few pieces urbosa has given her as a gift and she's given urbosa some zora pieces

I just read the first SSDF chapter and I already love it!! I started browsing your TMNT 2012 tag (the horrors are way more intense than I remember) and wondered if Leonardo ever mentioned his brothers or father to his sons. It might be painful to remember them since they aren't here, but Leo loves them too much to never bring them up at some point.

I like to think Leo just mentioned them when the Rise boys were super young but now that they're older they don't remember as much. So when they finally meet their turtle Uncles they're kinda mystified for a sec before Rafa pulls them all in for a hug. Of course, this happens later down the line once everything with Shredder and Leo start to settle down.

Sorry for the large ask, I just really love this AU.

(I roll in large asks like catnip never apologize for them)

As for Leo...

He did talk about his old family to his kids, especially when they were very young but he kept things very very VERY vague for two reasons.

One he is very much aware that he is in an alternate universe raising alternate versions of him and his brothers, and he doesnt know he could unintentionally fuck up space time or something by revealing too much.

And Two it was too painful to think about. Because if he started getting more specific then he would be thinking about them again, which would bring back the loneliness and his own grief that he'll never be able to go home or see them again. Then that rapidly gets worse and worse until he's in a full on depressive episode (with some added suicidal ideation) and considering he had four very small children that were entirely dependant on him, he couldn't afford to get lost in his own head. He needed to stay present and aware. (Because bottling up the bad feelings and or ignoring them is totally a good way to deal with severe depression and anxiety. That wont have any unforseen consequences at all)

As for the reunion...there isnt gonna be any hugging for awhile. Considering that in the span of a single night:

The fam get yoinked to the 2012 dimension

They all get SEPARATED in the 2012 dimension

The events of Requiem happen

2012 Splinter BARELY survives

Leo finds out just how little time actually passed in his home

Leo has a massive mental breakdown

And then Leo impulsively runs off to go kill The Super Shredder

And its not like they get a break afterwards when the Super Shredder gets killed, because then they all have to go back to the Rise dimension and stop Leo's estranged daughters from starting a full blown Civil War in the Hidden City.

Then the reunion between Leo and his daughters

Its gonna be awhile for any actual hugging or introduction can happen.

Moonlight Conversations

Cw: angst (hurt/comfort),Michael feeling unworthy of jericos love, Michael gets a lil sadistic describing something,mentions of falling into madness. A small scene of making out at the start (nothing explicit) mentions of body horror

Summary: an improptu date brings out a few things that need to be talked out.

Jerico grunted as she felt a piercing discomfort on her rib. She grunts--Mike...be careful with those hands

Michael lays atop of her as both cuddle on the sofá,his fluffy his fluffy curly hair falling across his face, he sighs,retracting His hand from her ribs,he sighs mildly annoued--....sorry

She breathes out and runs her digits across his scalp,tangling her fingers tangling on his Orange locks. --Youre going to chop off one of my ribs

--I dont want that, you have such a nice waist-- he whispers,pressing kisses to her jaw. His hands,really carefully,stroke her waist, his skin deathly cold.

Jer shudders-- thanks-- she answers with Pink cheeks.The skin Patterns of his hand are spirals,She can feel it as his thumb strokes soothing circles on her waist.

--I love you,yknow-- his voice is thickly laced with sleep-- even with everything, you still love me

--Of course-- she answers,tone soft and loving-- youre still the Man I fell in love with

--Yknow thats not true-- Michael replied.

--We're not going through this again-- jer replied, firm but not angry. Her hands Lower to cup his jaw and kiss him, he kisses back smiling and giggling.

He sits up a little,pulling her up by the back of the thighs and sitting her on his lap. The avatar of the spiral wraps his arms around his lovers waist, sighing into the kiss.

--okay fine-- he relents,not even out of breath-- ill stop

--Good,finally youve got some common sense-- she teased.

Michael rolls his eyes-- Keep that to yourself,I am not supposed to have common sense

She laughs and kisses him briefly-- Its a nice night,we could go out

--And terrorize some people?-- he asked with child like joy.

-- I- fine. Just the assholes

He rolls his eyes,huffing-- youre no fun

Jerico stands up, patting his arm-- Ill go change, then we can go

Michael sighs, tjrowing his head back on the backrest of the couch. He closes his eyes, feeling something setting on his legs.

Opening one eye,he looks down to a sphinx cat,bright honey eyes looking back at him-- You didnt forget me either,did you Sandy?

Sandy was his cat protector, the feline purrs and leans into his touch as he carefully scratches behind its ear.

--Of course you didnt-- he chuckled as the cat stands on her hind legs,putting her front paws on his chest-- you werent this cuddly before

Michael plays with the cat, giggling and baby talking to her with a big grin. A few minutes go by and jerico comes out of her room, ready to go.

--Dont let me interrupt-- she teased, leaning on the doorframe.

He turns to look,a sassy quip but it dies on his lips as his eyes settle on jerico. She wears short boots with a chestnut Brown colorationx,a high waisted bright teal jeans, and a velvet dark teal croptop with golden Trim.

--cat got your tongue?--She teased

The avatar is quick to recompose,face flushed, Sandy the sphinx cat leaves the room. -- thats not funny

--Sure it isnt....

Ignoring the sarcasm in her voice,he stands up and snaps his fingers. His eyes are frames by some round green glasses,he wears a dark brown turtle neck over a short croptop with desaturated purple and blue spirals over it.

He fixes up the grommet belt that holds his light brown pants, his heeled chesnut colored high heeled boots click against the wooden floor.

--Im good to go--michael announced,putting one of his hands on his pocket.

--Youre missing one thing though-- she comments,pointing at his hands-- gotta look somewhat human

The avatar sighs audibly, his long hands replaced by normal looking ones with long sharp nails, his height resting at 6'4 instead of his usual 7' +.

--Better?--He asked, Rolling his eyes.

--Yes,cmon

Both go out into the damp streets of London, Michael holds jericos hand as they walk down to a nearby restaurant in quiet conversation

The Sky is cloudy,the moon peeks through the cloud cover a little. Cold wind blows past them, and as a few cars speed by, jer has to reach up to fix what strands of curly marigold hair falls on her lovers face.

--Thank you beautiful-- he flirts,grabbing the hand near his face and kissing her palms.

--Of course,handsome

At the restaurant,they both take a Seat on the more...VIP area of the place. Nobody dares say anything, one look from both of them is all It takes.

Its not surprising really,the Ocean knew how to make someone feel lost and confused,and the avatar of the distortion was nothing but that, chaotic uncertainty. Together its no wonder nobody challenged them.

Jerico didnt mind using her..nature on these harmless things, she enjoyed it just a little. Thing that her lover would never let her live down,like ever.

Michael smirks, taking a sip from his wine-- Cmon accept it, scaring people is fun

--Oh shut it

--Nono,we're having this conversation-- he insisted,pointed accusatorily-- you like it, its fun. I saw your face

--i find it funny-- she admitted-- but only with shit like this,I dont enjoy fear

He raised a brow-- sure,sure.

--Respect and fear arent the same

--Fair-- he relented, taking a bite out of his food-- you do get hotter when youre scary though

She snorted-- what you find hot is none of my bussiness

After their dinner, both go to walk among the mildly crowded streets,holding hands. They watch the world go by and talk softly about the people they look at.

--Is it like this always?

--What?

--Eternity I mean- I cant die now-- he answers-- is eternity this calm- this cozy?

-- not always -- she admitted-- you learn to appreciate these moments

He nodds,looking down a little dissapointed-- ah,that was not the answer I was expecting

She squeezes his hand-- but I wasnt alone,and youre not alone either.

--Eternity with you? Now that puts me in a better mood-- he smiles,his spiraling eyes swirling with happiness.

Jer feels her cheeks warm up, she giggled-- I love you too. Im happy youre here

--Even if im not the same guy?

The Antiquarian shrugged with a smile-- youre still you,nothing can change that. Spiral avatar or not, youre still my Michael

His pale cheeks darken with blush--...youre too sweet

--You deserve it-- She replied, walking closer to him.-- youre always sweet to me, I love you

--I love you too-- he bends down to kiss her head and nuzzle her hair.

They make it to a park, they walk the path in silence as theres not Many people around. Above them the night has settled in and wind,cold as Ice, starts to blow but neither seem to mind.

Nocturnal birds coo and sing in harmony, leaves rustle and fall onto the ground,crunching as theyre stepped on.

--Nice night-- she replied, the hand thats holding her lovers swinging its arm back and forth a little.

--nice night-- he agreed-- reminds me of that one date we went on once, at the shores of Whitstable. We had waked down the docks with the shops on them,enjoyed some street food and then we went to sit on the shore. You spent hours telling me about old sea fables...it was fun

Jer feels her heart flutter, she smiles and tugs him closer-- god, that feels so long ago... I didnt think you'd remember

He laughed softly-- I could never forget anything about you, I still remember our first date

--First *first* date?-- she asked with a smirk

--of course! I was supposed to go down to your shop to get a book,you were just coming out to run errands and I ended up tagging along. We went to the fish market for some good tuna for the cats, then we went to Yuzuki's antique shop, the vet for those meds one of the cats was taking...Marrow! He'd gotten a stomach bug for eating from the trash

Jerico listens to him detail everything, chuckling to herself at the fact that he still didnt Belive he hadnt changed much.

--Our second to last stop was a bookstore-- he continued-- then we went for some afternoon tea and Ate dinner at one of those hole in the wall restaurants near the Institute. I ended up coming back to gertrude at like... eleven pm-- he laughed as a memory comes into his head--Oh she was SO PISSED. But I still remember how she was fighting back a smile because of how adorable the whole situation was

He turns to her,seeing her peaceful smile. She turns to him and snorts-- and then you say you have changed

Instantly his face goes bright red he chuckles nervously and he simply mutters a-- Keep that to yourself-- jer nodds playfully and leans on him.

A bit into their walk, they find a bench,sitting there for a moment to admire the empty world around them. Talking softly about how Parks always felt so uncanny when barren.

--Parks can be so disorienting at night, things start to look alike, trees seem bent the wrong way, monuments or fountains dont shine quite right! Ha! The ammount of people that get lost in these things

She chuckles-- hmm,youre giving the sea a run for its money

--Big fan of lost at sea too-- He adds-- so disorienting,sea sickness also doesnt help

Jer nodds-- Many a sailor lost with that

Michael wraps one arm around her waist,pulling her to him. Hes got that sadistic look in his eyes when he gets to talk about the things relating to The Spiral. It makes her heart squeeze with pain

--Yes! Its so fun! You see them walking around,praying to whatever could listen! The madness slowly sets it and-- he stops himself,looking down at her-- I- sorry

She shakes her head-- dont worry

--I know you dont like i-

--Mike-- she says softly-- its fine. You know I dont hold it against you

He looks away-- this is why I tell you ive changed

--Changed or not,I still love you-- she reminded him-- the good,the bad and the gruesome. This is just part of who you are,but its still you

Michael leans his head on hers, slowly stroking her waist-- I dont know why you Keep being around me

--Miike....

--You dont like violence, you dont like suffering or fear. Its all I do

--Not all

--I try to Keep it low key around you-- he admits-- I would like to make you feel like things havent changed

--Babe just because this has changed that doesnt mean you have lost yourself to it

Michael sighs audibly,tired. His eyes still dont meet hers, he stammers for a response but he finds none.

Jeri raises her hand to his face to push away his hair,setting her gaze on his spiraling eyes of shifting color-- I still love you, your changes just worries me but that doesnt mean that ill up and leave, gives me peace that you know when to hold back and when to let go.

She makes a pause,exhaling to calm herself--I'll love you no matter what happens to you, you have to Belive in my actions,but I cant help you with that.

Well,she is right.

Hes not surprised a being that has lived for thousands of years has centuries of wisdom in her.

--I guess...im on my way to Belive that-- he said,feeling her turn his head to her.

--We have nothing but time-- she promised,leaning in for a short but loving kiss.

Thats when they notice a Group of teenagers looking at them funny,not malicious but funny.

Michael exchanged one glance and jer just chuckles and nodds,playing along.

He drops his buman form so fast, and so does she. The Group of teens start running for their lives screaming like a frienzied bashee.

Both laugh at the scene and return to normal, and underneath the soon changing to autum world,he has a realization.

Trees lose their leaves every year, and they arent less loved because of it, when they emerge with New boughs to which rest from the sun, they are just as loved.

And he figures maybe its the same for him...

im doing ok davey!! chugging along - its tough in this season but youve just gotta keep on keeping on huh? howre you mate?

3. what work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

I AM NOT A FOOL ENTIRE. i know its dumb but being so deep in the 2012 turtle sauce really made me feel passionate about writing again, and i think it paid off. its the fic that got me back into fic writing and engaging in fandom, its got some of my favourite passages ive ever written, i think its some of the best character studies ive ever done, and though a lot of it isnt as clear as it should be, im able to recognize and build on that now. i know ive trailed off on it but i genuinely am still chipping away at it when i can. i know what the ending is - its just a matter of having the energy to write it. but even with that said, im so proud of that fic. it truly is my little baby. and im not embarrassed about that anymore! all works have value, and if the thing that made me finally say 'oh, i want to write' is the thought of a teenage mutant ninja turtle facing unimaginable horrors, then good for me actually.

6. favorite title you used

"say you came on first (i think you came on fine)" for sure. "adeline" is one of my favourite songs and i understand i did kind of misrepresent what the song, specifically that lyric, was actually about (that the narrator needs to compete with someone who has already 'come on first' to adeline) but i still think that kind of fits? jack is competing with davey's responsibilities and self-sacrificial nature, as well as his stifling job and oppressive society. the song's just,,, so pretty and that's exactly what i picture when listening to it, two people walking along a park-side pavement, quietly sharing their lives. honestly just listen to the song and imagine jack as the narrator it's so fun. "davey davey, i'm a real good cook!!" - i see it.

17. your favorite character to write this year?

i mean. is that even a question. obviously it's davey. he's my boy, my scribble bibble, and i absolutely love grabbing onto any thread of his character and pulling and pulling until he's completely unravelled. there's so much to him beneath the surface and i love picking it all apart - mostly because i relate to it and it makes a cheap alternative to therapy, but also because in all the ways davey is like me, there are differences there that i want to try and stretch my understanding towards. i think it's going well so far!

29. favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

donnie's dissection in IANAFE chapter 2. i won't go too into detail since it's very. unpleasant. but i've never written something that visceral and gory before, and i'm really proud of it. it made me really appreciate good gory writing, actually. there are only so many ways to describe pain without becoming obnoxious. it's also the very first thing i wrote for IANAFE after reading the TMNT IDW comics featuring jasper barlow and his kidnapping of donnie. the idea just rooted itself in my head and after months and months of only writing, like, a sentence a week, i had written out that whole passage in half an hour. it just unlocked something for me and completely changed my writing style and just how i look at my writing. i'm really proud of it :)

First impression

Well. Ok. this is complicated bcos my first impression of him was when I was like. 8? And at that point in time my impression was "holy fuckign shit this guy is the coolest guy in the whole world oh my god hes a fuckign NINJA turtle omg and hes got SWORDS"

Impression now

Upon rewatching the series a few years ago my impression was a dawning horror that I had literally just grown into his character. the awful realization of "he's just like me fr...." (said in despair). We're the same guy and this isnt a good thing 👍

Favorite moment

UH. I rlly like when he actually has moments where he's making a joke or an awful pun or some stupid catchphrase??? He's normally v serious and stoic and crumbling under the weight of responsibility so I really like when hes a goofy little guy. A silly <3 or like along the same lines when he gets excited about Space Heroes !!!! Hes just like me fr !!!!!!

If we're looking for more of a specific moment I rlly love his solo fight scene w the foot and the shredder at the end of s2??? It's SO atmospheric and visceral, and hes just like. fighting in a very feral and violent way ?? Its rlly interesting bcos again hes usually so collected so its neat to see him be able to pull away from that. Also I love the like little details of snow and their breath fogging its great and rlly cool

Idea for a story

I'd love to write or read something focusing around his guilt and/or anger concerning Splinter?? Like obviously Leo looked up to him and idolized him and I'm sure Splinter did love Leo but like. Man.

idk like Splinter put so much responsibility on him at so fuckign young and like. expected so much of him and Leo did his best but still felt like he couldnt live up to the expectations that were given to him. He expected Leo to be ready to DIE for a city that would never know his name or care about him at age 15????????????????

Theres gotta be some resentment there that Leo's gotta sort through and unpack??? Splinter was his hero and i think he's definitely got some right to be angry about what he did, or even what he didn't do. He put Splinter on such a high pedestal and I really think Splinter disappointed him and let him down, and Leo I think needs to come to terms with that in a way. Learn that he doesnt need to be the hero that he doesnt NEED to save everyone that its okay if he screws up. idk. I'd like to see something examining that.

Unpopular opinion

HES NOT AN ASSHOLE. DEAR GOD. Scrolling thru the Leo tag bums me out bcos people r so mean to him !!!! Hes not a stick in the mud jackass hes just a 15 yr old kid who had a LOT of pressure and responsibilities thrown on him and he's trying to navigate them !!! Please leave him alone omfg. YES he can b short with his brothers at times but to be fair they can b annoying !!! And he's trying his best to prove he can be a good leader !!! Fight me on this idc!!! I'm a Leo apologist he's done nothing wrong !!!!

Also hes not cool at all hes a big dork and thats why I like him

One of my fave (PLATONIC DEAR GOD) dynamics he has is w Mikey hehe. Mikey is underestimated a lot and I think (?) Leo is the one who picks on him the least. Theyre just kinda buddies and I love when they team up 👍 team tide pod 4 the win :] they def have a lot of untapped potential, and Mikey brings out the kid in him which is a nice change of pace. They argue about cartoons together and its great

Favorite headcanon

UM i think hes got that autism swag and his special interest is space!!!!!! It definitely bleeds over from and into Space Heroes being his fave show. He can name every constellation and really liked being at the farmhouse bcos the skies were so clear w/o light pollution. I also think he misses the farmhouse in general bcos it was nice and quiet and monotonous :]

here we go again. SO. JUST. all leo has to go on about being the leader at first WAS THE CARTOONS HE WATCHED AND STUFF. THE 2K12 TURTLES HAD NO CONTACT WITH THE TOPSIDE WORLD UNTIL THEY WERE LIKE 15. so all leo ever KNEW about being leader was that they were independent and indomitable and clever and skilled and FEARLESS and just so so cool, and he looked at that and said “hey!!! i wanna be just like that!! i can be just like that!!!” AND ITS. ITS SO FUCKING. IT KILLS ME. IT GENUINELY HURTS ME.

and when splinter was all “time to choose a leader… wonder who it should be….” LEO OBVIOUSLY IS ALL “ME ME ME.” and the rest is history

i say that the season 1 kraang almost invasion was the start of it all bc i dont think everything really sinks in until leo gets reality checked within an inch of his life by fuckinf shredder at the end of s2. that was AWFUL. that was so awful… god. ugh. like that CHANGED HIM right there that SCARED HIM. HE LITERALLY SAYS “i don’t think i’ll ever be the same again..” AND HE’S RIGHT. a bunch of powers/hybrid smp character design hcs based around their powers in the mod:

(small warning for slight body horror in tubbo and wilbur’s sections, and horror themes in wilbur’s section)

this got long so here’s a snapshot of my fav bits above the read more:

tubbo can open his stomach up like a shulker, and just reach in there and put stuff in and get it out again

wilbur’s physical appearance is dependent on how well rested the person looking at him is

tommy glides by t-posing because his arms are his wings

ranboo can open unhinge his jaw and open his mouth like an enderman, and he has like an extra layer of mouth skin like a snake that you can only see when his mouth is unhinged

Phil hates places with low ceilings cause his wings are super long and he can’t stretch them out

Niki’s got gills on her neck to help filter water, so when she wants to talk to people above water she has to stick just her head out of the water and leave her neck beneath it

You know su!peridot’s augments she had at her intro, jack can like do that with his clawed fingers. Just like detach them at will and control them but they can’t go very far from him so it isnt very useful

Shulk!Tubbo:

tubbo has pretty thick skin with a slightly sickly pallor even though he’s perfectly healthy

he also has a carapace that’s similar in color and texture to a shulker’s shell covering the parts of his body that don’t bend(arms, legs, top of his head, upper chest) he can use these to block sword blows but if the sword is sharp enough it’ll stick cut into his skin

the carapace itself doesnt bleed, but it does heal and tubbo feels pain if it gets cut

like a lobster or turtle the carapace is a part of tubbo’s skin and can’t be removed(without extreme pain)

his hands are also reinforced by his carapace, giving him sharp claws at the tips of his fingers, and this is why he can punch through stone easily and without breaking his hand

he’s also pretty heavy underneath this extra armor and as a result he’s got a lot of intense muscle mass

tubbo can open his stomach up like a shulker, and just reach in there and put stuff in and get it out again, but it has limited storage

it kind of makes his stomach look like a shulker, with interlocking squares

the stuff inside his stomach exists in a type of hammerspace(we’ll just call it shulkerspace) so if you were to cut him open the stuff wouldnt be there

you do NOT want to stick your hand into tubbo’s shulkerspace, he can do it with no ill effects but if someone else did they might as well wave goodbye to that hand even if tubbo doesnt close his shulker mouth on your hand

Phantom!Wilbur:

wilbur can do like... ghost things like turning invisible and walking through walls in phantom state

particularly astute(or anxious) people can sense when wilbur’s nearby in phantom state, but not accurately guess where he is

wilbur oftentimes goes in and out of phantom state without even realizing it, sometimes just vanishing in the middle of the conversation because he let his mind wander

he also burns in the daylight which is sadge but not when in phantom state so he sometimes goes into the phantom state on reflex when entering a very bright room

wilbur can sense how tired people are, and if they are tired enough to summon phantoms wilbur can sense whose insomnia the phantoms are targeting on sight

wilbur looks like how you’d expect a ghost to look: see through, human, or at least... that’s what he looks like when you wake up in the morning

his physical appearance is dependent on how well rested the person looking at him is, but he is always corporeal when out of the phantom state

by nighttime, when you’re getting ready for bed wilbur’s eyes are green and if you look closely they glow in the dark, and if you look closer a skeleton makes itself clear beneath wilbur’s skin. it is not a human skeleton

by morning the next day without sleep transparent membrane stretches between wilbur’s claws and you can clearly see the skeleton. fangs protrude from its mouth and its rib cage stretches grotesquely outwards with every breath wilbur takes

by the second night wilbur’s transparent skin is blue and phantom membrane has escaped the confines of his hand and run down the length of his arm, extra bones begin to grow from the skeleton to accommodate the growing wing. it is harder to see through him.

by dawn of the third morning you can see a tail, more bone than blue, leathery skin, lashing behind wilbur, it seems to always whip itself in your direction. it stings when it touches you, but not for long. his frayed wings are fully formed.

night falls and wilbur’s glowing green eyes are sunken in, practically floating in black eye sockets. his skin looks vacuum sealed, giving you a perfect map of the meatless bones inside. he is entirely opaque, you cannot see through him but his stark white skeleton, expanding, stretching, and clawing at you, is clearly visible

you sleep, and wilbur looks human once again

this version of wilbur doesn’t only exist in the minds of the sleep deprived. if you let him stay in the edges of your vision too long, no matter how rested you are, you can see this form

by the time you focus your vision on him wilbur will be back to his normal state. you can’t see what your brain desperately tries to refuse. it is only when your mental walls have been broken down that you can witness wilbur’s form. for better or for worse.

Avian!Tommy:

instead of having an extra set of limbs like phil tommy’s wings and arms are the same limbs, like a harpy(and like wilbur)

where the wing’s wrist is(essentially where it bends, if you’re unfamiliar with bird anatomy) Tommy has some extra human-like clawed fingers that he uses as hands

tommy isnt strong enough to fly with them, even if he is very light thanks to hollow bones. he can glide, though

yes, this does mean that tommy glides by t-posing

tommy also has talons for feet, which sort of assist him in being slightly faster than everyone

his feathers are the same colors as a red parrot’s, and he keeps them very well maintained so they keep their lustrous color

he’s also got a lot of feathers dotting his body, like around his ears and stomach and they protect him from the cold in the high up areas he likes sleeping in

ok i dont really have anything to say abt his veganism he’s just Like That because parrot(cause god knows chickens are omnivores)

he has a beak that he uses for nuts and seeds and he can make bird noises!

And he’s got a small feathery tail that isnt useful for much but does look cool

Even though he can’t fly Tommy does have a third eyelid like a bird, it goes side to side and is transparent, he mostly just uses it while gliding or swimming

Enderian!Ranboo

Very tall boy with very long arms

Honestly very similar to dsmp!ranboo

Water burns him like acid and leaves behind very distinctive burn scars but he heals pretty easily from water burns

He is Constantly bamboozled by people wearing pumpkins and he’s Not a fan

Ranboo can open unhinge his jaw and open his mouth like an enderman, and he has like an extra layer of mouth skin like a snake that you can only see when his mouth is unhinged

He’ll avoid eye contact at all cost because it agitates him and gets him unreasonably angry at whoever he’s talking to, the others have gotten very good at avoiding eye contact with him, though

Teleporting is a lot of fun to him and he’ll sometimes just teleport around just for the sake of it, because he can sense the change in location when teleporting in a way humans with ender pearls cant

Enderians are the results of people trying to fuse together with end-based magic and so all of them have the half and half texture of their skin, but most of them all have the same powers

Speaking of skin, Ranboo’s ender skin is strangely smooth and he doesn’t have a protruding nose, just slits in his face he smells through

He also doesn’t have any body hair at all, but his long ears generally distract from that

Elytrian!Phil

Phil is an incredibly light person, compared to a human he’d be dangerously underweight

He’s essentially skin, hollow bones, and elytra because if he was anything else he wouldn’t be able to fly especially with armor on

However this and his hollow bones means he’s pretty weak in all areas, especially underground

Thanks to his Brain he gets slow and weak under low ceilings and also sadge

Aside from the kind of unearthly tint to his skin Phil looks pretty human, aside from the elytra of course

He’s got insect wings protected by an elytra. So, elytra on beetles and things are kind of like a half circle protecting the wings and pressing them to the body of the beetle, and this works because beetles are wing shaped- phil is not

So, phil has very unique elytra that completely encase his wings, and the top part moves out of the way to let his wings fold out so they’re like twice his height- and that partially adds to his dislike of low ceilings, he can barely stretch his wings

Phil’s got fragile beetle wings so they look pretty fragile but they can withstand a beating and carry Phil a ways(though it’s partially phil’s innate magic that lets him shoot into the sky)

Phil has a transparent third eyelid just like Tommy

And, he has antennae that he uses to feel the wind while flying

Merling!Niki

Niki essentially has two types of skin: a human-looking thick layer of skin that covers the upper portion of her body and an even thicker scale-like layer that covers the lower half

Her human-like skin is very rough and it doesn’t absorb water like human skin does, the scales are smooth but also don’t absorb water

She has two legs and a long, thick tail she uses to propel herself through the water, the tail is entirely covered in her blue scales

Her hands and feet are webbed so when she swims she spreads her hands out to help push herself through the water

Niki also has decorative fins on various places on her body like her ears, legs, arms and stomach, they’re all blue and can’t be controlled in anyway

She’s got gills on her neck to help filter water, so when she wants to talk to people above water she has to stick just her head out of the water and leave her neck beneath it

Breathing in air and rain at the same time is extremely uncomfortable and leaves her constantly feeling short of breath but she considers it well worth it to walk on land for a period of time

She also has sharp teeth because: yes

She doesn’t have eyelids, though, her eyes are built like a fish’s

Blazeborn!Jack

Jack constantly gives off heat, he wont burn anyone but you’ll get very hot if you stand too close to him for too long

He has metallic blaze skin that glows like molten metal if he was recently on fire or in lava

And, of course, he’s immune to poison and hunger because he’s basically an android, he’s like a gold material and metal cant get poisoned or hungry

Jack will, however, become fatigued if he’s away from intense heat like fire or lava for too long, like a week

He gets hurt in water because the water basically sucks the heat away from him and that actually hurts him

Staying in a cold biome too long would do the same thing if jack didnt go prepared with warm clothing and probably a flint and steel but tbf to jack humans also die in cold biomes if they’re unprepared

I’ve got nothing for fragranceman right now as i’m not sure if schlatt’s going to be on the server a lot

But i might make skins for these!

ML AU: In Another Life: Miracle Queen

(Loveater)

-Queen bee transforms into miracle queen because of the akuma.

-Hawkmoth smiled as he watched the heroes look in horror.

-”Miracle Queen, use your power and get Paris under your power.”

-Miracle queen nodded as she summoned her swarm.

-Ladybug and Chat noir fled and avoided the bees by jumping into the water with the Aqua powerful. The two made their way into the sewers and escaped the swarm.

-Fu was relaxing in the hiding spot at the park when he heard the sound of insects. His instincts kicked in and asked Wayzz to transform him. He created a barrier around himself and the miraculous.

-The bee swarm overtook Paris.

-Hawkmoth told Miracle Queen to call forth everyone who has ever used a miraculous. (believing that the guardian would have done so at one point.)

-This gets Nino, alya, kagami, Luka, Kim, and Max like in canon. Miracle Queen makes her commentary, but Hawkmoth notices that the guardian is not among them. Knowing that the guardian is an old man, and couldnt be a teenager.

-”The guardian must be out there!”

-”Ill have all of Paris searching for him”

-Hawkmoth calls back Mayura to come and assist

-Ladybug and Chat noir realized they were both on borrowed time since they only had a few minutes until their transformations wore off, But going to the surface was a risk because of the bees.

- Ladybug didnt have any of the other miraculous on her and felt trapped. But Fu contacted her while in his bubble.

-”Ladybug, are you and Chat noir alright?”

-”Yes master, but we are sort of trapped underwater.”

-”Ill meet you both in the sewer.”

-Sure enough, Fu made his way to them and created a bubble so the two could safely emerge from the water without worry.

-”Chat noir turn around, we cant know eachother’s identities.”

-Chat noir said nothing, but complied. A bit of guilt about knowing butting its ugly head.

-They feed their kwami while looking away from the other. Fu is a bit sus of chat noir but says nothing. He is also under stress.

-Fu reveals that he snagged the miracle box and that Ladybug can prepare with the stuff inside.

-Ladybug hands Chat noir the snake miraculous and she takes the dragon.

-”In case I get stung, you will need to have a back up.”

-Chat noir ignores the brief bit of snake pain in a flashback. He can do it this time.

-”Ill go a different way. You focus on the akuma.”

- They thank Fu and rush back down to go fight Miracle Queen and Hawkmoth.

-Dragonbug and Snake Noir arrive and find that Mayura has summoned a unique sentimonster called Miracumaker. Which turned the teens that had touched the miraculous into the hero versions of themselves. So Rena Rouge, Carapace, Viperion, Ryuuko, King Monkey, and Pegasus. But they have strings on their backs that when its cut, will turn them back to how they were before.

-Mayura, Hawkmoth and Miracle Queen are waiting outside the big bubble arena Dragonbug created. Mayura was clearly looking worse for wear by creating the sentimonster.

-Hawkmoth is prepared to enter the fray, when Fu calls his attention.

-”You’re looking for me?” Fu calls out. Knowing that the villain was indeed looking for him

- Hawkmoth turns his attention to Fu. His eyes narrow.

-”You have made a grave mistake showing yourself.”

-”My mistake was not showing up to fight you sooner.”

-Cue the two charging at eachother.

-The team work of Ladybug and Chat noir allowed them to fight the six controlled heroes, taking out Viperion and Ryuuko first. Exploiting the lack of coordination on the enemies part.

-Mayura tries to move to help Hawkmoth but coughs loudly. Fu notices.

-”Wait, that miraculous she is using... its damaged. The amount of strain that is being placed on her is...”

-”Worry about yourself old man! Hand over the miraculous and reveal to me your secrets!”

-Fu avoiding Hawkmoth’s strikes, through his barrier, frustrating the Villain.

-Snake noir got King monkey’s toy to hit Miracle queen, allowing them to break the hold of the bees and de-akumatize her

-Hawkmoth was furious, and stopped attacking Fu and charged at Ladybug (who had de-unified from Dragon bug). He had caught the heroine off guard and was about to snag her earrings,

-”You think you won. But I WILL take your miraculous!”

-but a shield came and Captain america’d the villain causing him to let go. Jade turtle had Found his moment to strike. He then proceeded to trip up the villain.

-Ladybug calls her lucky charm, It was the same as in the canon episode.

- Mayura noticed that the control over the heroes was gone due to miracle queen’s de-akumatization. She insisted that they leave. They were outnumbered and the plan had gone south. Her health clearly failing.

-Hawkmoth growled and roared that this wasnt over. He knows her allies faces, and He will get the miraculous.

-He and Mayura managed to escape and the sentimonster vanishes. The day is saved.

-Ladybug and Chat noir approach Queen bee. Queen bee apologizes for not listening to them, she hands over the bee miraculous willingly (since this time she wasnt willingly accepting of the akuma)

-Ladybug tells her that she understands and that she doesnt need the bee miraculous to be a hero. But the statement she said before still holds merit. That it is dangerous for her, along with anyone else today to hold a miraculous.

-Chloé is still depressed about it. But she at least knows she isnt being put down for personal reasons. She walks away still sad, but not hating ladybug, she gets it.

-The other teens were confused on what happened, but then head back to where they were. Thanking Ladybug and Chat noir.

-Ladybug wonders what the key is.

-Fu explains that he knows what it means, and she can use it to fix things

-Ladybug uses her lucky charm to fix all the damage.

-Fu seems happy, since the feeling of foreboding and worry he had seemed to pass. He had the impression that he would lose himself because of the events of today. He tells Ladybug that she made the right choice and that she is pretty much ready to be a full fledged guardian...

-Ladybug pleads that she doesn’t want the role yet.

-Fu Laughs. “Dont worry, I still have a lot to teach you and I dont plan on going anywhere.”

-Fu compliments chat noir and says that he is the perfect partner for Ladybug.

-Chat noir thanks Fu. He still feels a twinge of guilt.

-”Perhaps one day, you both can fully know who the other is.”

-Chat noir prays its soon.

-Ladybug offers to help Fu get home. He did expend a lot of energy today.

-”Thank you ladybug.”

-Ladybug wishes Chat noir well and that she needs to go. He smiles and lets her go. He knows he will see his girlfriend later.

-Now safe and detransformed.

-Fu does explains that one day, he will pass on the guardian status to Ladybug and he will forget everything because of it.

-Ladybug comments that it sounds awful.

-”Would be terrible if you had to do that earlier and we just find out about it after you did it.”

-”That it would, that it would. Thank goodness it wasnt and probably will never be necessary. Besides, I have other things to teach you, like how to fix a miraculous. Hawkmoth’s Partner is on borrowed time if she continues using that miraculous.”

-”You can share with me all of that another time, how about you rest.”

-Fu smiles at her.

-”I will, thank you Marinette.”

-Marinette leaves and gets a text from Adrien. He had called all of their friends for some ice cream, since their plans got derailed.

-Marinette is happy about it and eagerly goes to meet up with everyone.

-Marinette his sharing ice cream with her boyfriend.

-The sitting order is different. Luka is sitting with Kagami.

-Luka can tell that Kagami is feeling the same way he is. Sad yet happy for them.

-”You know i had written this song about... but it might never be for her now.”

-”I wouldnt mind hearing it. Whats the point of holding it in.”

-Luka chuckles, kind of amused at the comment.

-Luka plays the song that he wrote for the girl who was happy with another guy. It was a not sad or dreary, but something warm and kind, something hopeful. At least thats what Kagami believed.

-Adrien and Marinette enjoyed their ice cream, after the day they had. It was well overdue.
