i was thinking abt kid’s humanity and contemplating if i should post an analysis about it and then it hit me that maka albarn would probably listen to nightcore. but also i feel like soul would absolutely despise nightcore with his whole body (he gets a very visceral reaction. he really hates the sped up and squeaky voices nightcore makes) so it probably ends up with a lot of conversations like this:

Safe to say, when humans joined the spacenet, new things were bound to crop up. Memes were quickly understood to be a language of its own, and most humans could tell you if you were looking at one. Most other beings got it or tried to engage with it as it was too confusing and convoluted for them to understand. That leads us to where this story starts; At a universal campus, where roommates had only been assigned a week prior. A student pair that happened to include a human. Was chilling in their room doing homework. The human, as usual, was wearing an earbud while working. "I'm sorry, but I've been really curious, human friend, about what you have been listening to while you have been working." "Oh, I've just been listening to music while I work, nothing unusual. " "So you have been doing the ritual of Lo-fi study music. Would you mind if I joined you in the practice." "eh... not exalty. Lo-fi is fine and all, but I never really got out of the so-called "Nightcore" phase. Not everyone is a fan of it. It can be a bit jarring if you are not used to it." last post gave me the idea to throw out random character hcs so here i go

♡ i like to exaggerate the aspect of robin being a shut-in in my head a little more. she probably has lost touch with socializing because of it so it makes her nervous. gardening is a hobby shes picked up recently to try to motivate herself to leave her room more often

♡ a weirdly specific one but f sydney and sometimes m sydney wear very red-centric makeup. very subtle when theyre pure, more prominent when corrupt. id like to draw their usual look sometime but in case i dont post it heres my awkward description: red eyeshadow (maybe it evolves to a red undereye byojaku when corrupt), and lips tinted in a gradient, deepest red inner and lightens to outer.

♡ kylar is a he/they but only mentions it to people who they 1: have personally gotten to know and 2: dont bully him (probably just pc and maybe sydney. maybe tried mentioning it to their monster parents but. yknow.)

♡ niki has a former-smoking induced oral fixation and is trying to quit

♡ doren has reading glasses. mgmdnf something something big muscular people with glasses..........

♡ said this like twice on here but whitney is a trans man. i like to imagine that since whitney was so "respected" around school and everyone was so used to him doing whatever he liked (when he wasnt being peer pressured) that people rarely gave him shit for transitioning when he did

♡ can i confidently say that dol fandom mutually agrees that kylar unironically listens to vocaloid nightcore and in every other aspect is the embodiment of an emo weeb middle school phase that was never grown out of or am i just. projecting. also saw a post saying that he is probably a tumblr yandere and it stuck with me ever since

♡ harper's hair is very soft and well-kempt. whether this is natural or something he puts time into is a mystery

♡ sirris probably masturbates in his time between classes every now and then,,, just. in the classroom. kinda has low self control and will do a few things like this without taking the risk of being caught into account very much (i.e. dropped dildo event)

♡ harper has had his own experiences with the wraith prior to when he became a "doctor". it got so bad that the paranoia would eventually keep him up at night and it stuck with him to where hes fixated on using his now-colleagues' scientific abilities to get some sort of clarity. on the note of harper being a former asylum patient, he had experienced a good few of the things he gaslights his own patients about and denies them for both his own sake and some sort of cynical and twisted feeling of "helping" them. but the wraith? that's something he just can't bring himself to ignore.

♡ since kylar usually has sex with pc in public-ish places they usually try their best to keep relatively quiet. the second you and him are in private? loud moaner and constant babbler. prefers this bc it feels amazing to him to express how much he loves you, but their easy desperation for you gets the better of them. (haunted house event)

Sorry the absolute first thing I have to mention is how fucking excited Anisa is to find out because!! This!! Is what she wanted!!!! When she aspired to become a knight back all those years ago!!!!!! I don't think it matters all that much to Felix? He comes from artistocracy himself y'know. He is interested in your kingdom though! Did you have a castle? Secret passages? Secret forms of magic?

Sage teases you like 'oh how gracious of the royalty to spend time with a mere unworthy peasant ;3' but in reality he actually does feel kind of intimidated. Royal life is so fancy and stuffy and rule-abiding, y'know? And if you're accustomed to a certain standard of living, a certain level of behavior/decorum, well how the hell can he compete with that?

I think all of them want to hear about your kingdom! And I think that if you're homesick they'd work together to try and do something nice. Sage tries to recreate the national dish (or your favorite, whatever, he's trying here), Anisa tries to recreate your kingdom's flag, and Felix puts together outfits that people there might wear.

If your kingdom has any festivals or holidays, the Starsworn will help you celebrate!! To the best of their ability. They spend like half the time bickering among themselves but they mean well

You teach them songs. If you can play an instrument then you can play while the other three try to sing. Sage is dancing and probably gets Anisa too as well, if there's a special sort of cultural dance you gotta do. Felix stays squarely next to you and if the others try to drag him into a dance, he kicks at them.

'Excuuuuuuse me princess' but it's Sage (and whatever royal title you use).

You're in public and someone spilled something on your outfit and now Felix and Sage are holding Anisa back before she commits a war crime. And you can decide whether or not to take this in a kinky way, but she's gonna,, uh,, pledge her fealty to you at some point.

Scene Bex, Silly and Stacy

soooooooooo remember when I said that I was gonna post scene stuff?

..... yeah about that-

oh no who let Bex and Silly loose in a Hot Topic for more than hour cuz now they listen to nightcore and do the caramelldansen-

and local 20 year old cat stuck in the 1930s attempts to be modern with her age group but she's 12ish years late….. she's trying her best…

had the random idea and urge to draw Bex, Silly and Stacy in the scene artstyle that was popular back in early 2010- why did I do this? simple answer, Bex's music taste is very 2010s MLP fansong style (think The Living Tombstone MLP era and WoodenToaster) and Silly's style is inspired from both scene and punk styles. Meanwhile Stacy only tried out the scene style to make Silly happy- she literally lives and breathes 1930s style and fashion- so you can imagine her trying to even understand the scene emo style and fashion. Loads of confusion for the formal reserved cat stuck in the 30s. In all seriousness though- these two drawings were so much fun to make- drawing in the scene artstyle is actually a ton of fun which surprised me how WELL these 3 translated from my style to the scene artstyle- and also it was fun to just put these guys into this style I would have never imagined them to be in.

Anyways that's enough ranting from me- I have more drawings on the way soon enough, but they have been delayed back a good bit as they contain spoilers for the Ride Souls story "Realms Overlap" and I wanna give my audience the chance to read the story before I start posting anything art related to it! Same goes for any future Ride Souls story too that I probably plan to draw out scenes for, the art will usually come along a month/ month and a half after it's posted so it gives you guys time to read and catch up :>

Favorite Color: Oh my god don't ask a former graphic design student this lol The fun part of this question is that it really really depends. And yes, I know that's me overthinking this question, but I'm a chronic over thinker. But like, my Switch is yellow because I love yellow, but a lot of my clothes are black because it's the color I love to wear, etc. I think I'm going to make this simple and also be a cop out and say rainbow. Rainbow is my favorite color

Currently Reading: It's been a bit since I picked up any of the books I currently have progress on tbh, but the most recent one I made progress on is the first in a trilogy from my childhood that I thought might be fun to re-read May Bird and the Ever After by Jodi Lynn Anderson. I read the whole series as a kid and absolutely adored it. Going back now as an adult aaaaand... I don't think I would enjoy it if not for the nostalgia factor. It's not bad, in my opinion or anything, but it just wasn't written for adults, and that's OK! The world building is really interesting though! And looking back, the build up of one of the main plot points is really nice. They're really vague about why cats have been banned from the Ever After, and remembering the why has me giggling every time it comes up!

I also saw someone, I can't remember who, but I think it was @sleepyowlwrites , mention the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica recently, so the three books I have in that series are sitting on my desk waiting for me to go back to those, as they were also a big part of my childhood. So I'll probably be reading that soon.

Last Song: Ah, the curse of getting to this while listening to music. Currently playing in the background of me typing this is a nightcore cover of Pretty Little Psycho according to the video it's attached to.

Last Series: It has been quite some time since I sat down and tried to watch any series. My little ADHD* brain has had no focus for watching much of anything recently so I think the last series I watched was Bungo Stray Dogs. AND I am not caught up on the anime either.

*Note: That is a guess on what's going on in my brain. Please do not take this as an invitation to ask me about ADHD.

Last Movie: Pretty sure this has been even longer than watching any series of any kind. However, I think it was the Gene Wilder Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie because my fiance had not seen it and that's a crime that had to be fixed.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Savory. I can only have sweet things in smaller doses otherwise my tastebuds get overwhelmed and the only proper pain foods are sour ones. Spicy burns and it's not a fun pain for me. Sour is the fun pain.

Currently Working On: Technically, all of my projects are being juggled right now, but with all of them having something that my makes my brain not want to work on them, I'd say what I'm actually working on is keeping my brain from making what I call "Avoidance Projects" What that means is this: Hell's Casino, Cross Over, and The Stories Beneath the Stars all have some sort of basis, having been thought about for a while. "Avoidance Projects" are spur of the moment decisions of what to write about. I may have thought about a character or two for them in the past, but they have no plot thought out ahead of time. My brain likes to start them when I'm frustrated with my current writing and they often end up going nowhere and being forgotten about quickly. So, for now I'm trying to convince my brain to put a pin in them and come back to them when they can have proper attention.

I was listening to music on shuffle earlier and a nightcore song played, and I was just instantly transported back to the year of our lord 2012

that got me thinking–because damn, it's kinda weird that I was OBSESSED with this one youtube channel for like two years but it was german and obviously ten years ago so. idk it didn't feel like it but I guess it WAS niche even back then. but now it's like. not to be dramatic but it did shape me as a person a little and no one even knows it!!!!!

okay so listen there was this one channel called "applewar pictures" (if you recognise that you deserve a veterans discount fr) and like 10 people worked on it. it was a big friend group who liked making videos together and most of them also had individual channels. that's the deep lore we're not getting into that

one of the main guys was this 30 year old dude who went by "chan" and was obsessed with mangas which back then was still very novel to the german youth. trust me I was there

okay but the important part was. that guy had a BUNCH of guinea pigs. he had a whole room dedicated to them and he made ANOTHER youtube channel where he would post little sketches he did with the guinea pigs. they were all named after food items and he gave them all distinct characters and voices. to a kid that was the FUNNIEST shit ever. are you with me so far

now, the plot thickens. that channel attracted a fan artist who drew the guinea pigs as humans, and she started working together with the applewar crew and. sit down you're not gonna believe this. PRODUCED A GERMAN MANGA ABOUT THE HUMAN GUINEA PIGS. YES I OWN THAT IT'S IN A BOX IN MY ROOM

looking back on it it seems like a fever dream but I loved that whole network of weirdos so much???? I drew fanart of the human guinea pigs. honestly it's a miracle I didn't turn out to be a furry because THIS IS WHAT THE HUMAN GUINEA PIG DESIGNS LOOKED LIKE

anyway. um. well I did turn out gay tho so. (btw the artist very much also produced some nsfw content. featuring the human guinea pigs. how am I not a furry when the universe so desperately tried to turn me into one)

I just had to ramble about this for a bit. I kinda miss "early" youtube and being a child and getting invested in some weeaboo and his very lovingly cared for guinea pigs. there was a whole bustling fandom around it too!!! man. the artist also produced original works I read as a kid and she had a lot of really cool ideas and concepts I was slightly obsessed with. I wonder how everyone's doing today. not gonna check tho, some things need to stay in the past. anyway

BEPO - well, technically neither but Bepo can get pretty cranky when he wakes up sweaty 🥵 Chopper is the same but because of his smaller stature, he doesn't get overheated like Bepo.

2. Who worries more when the other is sick/hurt?

CHOPPER - Absolutely Chopper. 10,000% everyday. You have an itch in your throat? He's got the lozenges. Got some stiffness in your shoulder? He's there with the menthol balm to massage it away. Feeling a bit dizzy and lightheaded? He's got a bowl of mixed nuts and dry fruit for you to bring up your blood sugar. If that doesn't work he'll perform the Semont Maneuver on you to reset the crystals in your ears (< I do this often for my mom because she has chronic vertigo)

3. Who plays pranks on the other?

BEPO - it's not very often but on the days they're both feeling playful and they're just goofing off, Bepo will hide behind doors and around corners and jump scare Chopper. Chopper tries to do it back but it ends up being soooooo cute, Bepo can't help but snuggle him to death. Sometimes Chopper will try out one of Usopp's pranks on Bepo but it's usually a failure but Bepo pretends like it worked because c'mon.

4. Who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa?

CHOPPER - whether it's "watch this show with me" or "let's play video games" or "we had so much fun playing in the snow, let's enjoy our hot cocoa on the sofa together" Chopper is always DTS (Down TO Snug) 🤗

5. Who insists on creating nicknames for the other?

NEITHER - They just use their names but they will call each other usually dude, bro, and man, but they also say buddy, guy, friend and pal just as often (think the Canadians in South Park since they're both Canadian ya know 🤣 unless Oda-sensei reveals Bepo to be Russian in our world, then he'll call Chopper his comrade)

6. Who says ‘I love you’ first?

CHOPPER - He says this on December 25th because Bepo is the only one to give him both birthday AND Christmas gifts and all of them were really cool and amazing and exactly what he needed. Bepo is very thoughtful and Chopper was so moved that he just blurted it out. Bepo on the other hand is an artist and while he is organized with his supplies, he creates a huge mess while he works and usually lets crap lie around for a few days before actually picking it up (Captain Procrastinate)

8. Who feels the most uncomfortable about PDA?

BEPO - Bepo is very bashful and when he sees Chopper being cute he can't help but blush his face off 😳 So when Chopper gives him treats, thanks him wholeheartedly and (especially) says 'I love you', he panics and becomes an utter mess. He's completely smitten and his friends never let him live it down.

9. Who’s the funniest drunk?

CHOPPER - VERY low tolerance. Even though he eats a full fat, high protein, heavy carb meal before drinking, it still absorbs into his blood way too quickly and he's already scream singing karaoke and dancing with his shirt off 🕺 before he's finished his first beer ()

10. Who texts the most?

CHOPPER - MEMES. All the memes. And TikTok. Any medical pun he can find, he sends to Bepo. But sometimes he's a little too helpful and essentially MANSPLAINS every joke until it's not funny anymore but while most of Chopper's friends silently hate that (they're in a group chat, he's basically Boyle from B99) Bepo appreciates it because then he doesn't have to web search it.

11. Who has the most embarrassing taste in music?

BOTH - They both listen to dubstep, nightcore, teen pop and country rap 🤠 (except Old Town Road, that's actually really good. But Cotton Eye Joe?? NO!!!) anything that they can dance to and fun to sing at karaoke night (though everyone hates them for it, they're too cute to boo) (btw I like Cotton Eye Joe lol)

12. Who reads the most?

BOTH - Chopper reads more than Bepo but they're both reading and studying to advance their careers. Chopper is a pre-med student working on becoming a family medicine physician (Like Doctor Mike!) and Bepo is an art curator and is always brushing up on his history (lol puns), he specializes in cartography and map restoration. He draws webtoons for fun (they're about ant/arctic animals 🐺⚪🐻🦌🐧)

13. Who’s better with kids?

CHOPPER - as a family medicine physician, he'll need to work with a lot of kids and babies so he gets a lot of practice dealing with kids at his big brother's day care (can you guess who that is?) Kids make Bepo nervous but they like him all the same. They love that he's big and strong and want to climb on him, which makes his even more nervous because he doesn't want to get sued for child endangerment (Bepo also has a big brother, he's a school bus driver 🚌 [can you guess who it is???])

14. Who’s the one that fixes things around the house?

BEPO - he took shop class in high school and learned a lot there, plus he sometimes helps his big bro to do maintenance on the school buses. He's a pretty handy fella.

15. Who cooks and who cleans up?

BOTH - They both cook (they both are bad at it, but it's edible and nutritious) and they both clean up. Chopper likes to get the tidying up finished quickly or he can't relax, so Bepo pitches in without argument. They're both surprisingly really good at making desserts (they both have big sweet teeth 🧁🍧)

And Virgil turned more red than a bloody tomato. He just sat there, frozen in embarrassment, literally about to cry. But when he saw that literally nobody gave A Shit(tm) he just sunk out and into his room to freak out over Literally Nothing(tm). I will never not be at least a bit baffled how I never got into mcr. A friend can happily try to change that but I tried to for them but just. Could not get into it. New Character!

So, a few days ago I was listening to Nightcore (don't judge me) and this was one of the images a song was using. Of course, there was no source listed but with some reverse image searching I found the original image and saved it as "future child fc". Later that day, I started making a character from it.

And thus, Ember was born! I'm honestly really proud of her. Her backstory is relatively detailed and left open ended so RP with her can start right as the backstory ends or sometime after. Her personality is well set and makes sense, and she has really interesting traits.

Ember's is kind of extra special to me because she's autistic. It was someone else who suggested it, and at first, I was hesitant. I'm autistic IRL but was worried I wouldn't be able to play it well enough. But I've done my research, both into autism as a whole and how to roleplay an autistic character. And I've written down what I need to remember, so I think I can do it!

If anyone reading this is interested in RP with her btw, feel free to send me a message! I'm sure we could work something out. Though, do remember she is a child character so if anyone tried anything weird I will block you, and report you if I can.

Emily- Hyperpop, trance, electro, anything you have to do drugs to listen to but she listens to it sober.

Alex- local closeted Little Monster. Probably also likes early 2010's kpop.

Sebastian- ok everyone says MCR, obviously but I reckon guy listens to a lot of obscure genres and has some of the most diverse music taste. Lots of punk rock from all over the world, definitely had a vocaloid/nightcore phase.

Shane- the saddest Indie pop girls. I'm talking Lorde, Mitski.

Harvey- All the Jazz and Blues greats. Also collects records.

ok so artem's most embarrassing thing he owns is an apron with the saying, "please kiss the cook he's touch starved" that he got from celestine for his birthday. he also got a chef hat that's fuzzy that he refuses to wear for sanitary reasons. celestine made him put on the entire get up once and now has that image as blackmail. ok but he also owns a wattpad account and he refuses to admit it

luke has fuzzy handcuffs. lISTEN LISTEN,,, i feel like as an NSB agent he has to have some type of cuffs (for protocol even tho he prefers brute force and dislocating joints,,, my guy cHILL) anyway he always looses them someplace. he doesn't wanna have them in his pocket bc they're obvious,, and he knows how to do his job,,, but he still keeps them on him and genuinely looses them. so aaron gives him fuzzy hand cuffs in front of the NSB cuz he's like "well, you keep loosing them, i think that's a cover story. these work better" and ofc this man goes rED.

vyn has a hidden collection of nightcore music on record lMAOOO. JK. i feel like he would have some sort of kiddy gardening tool. it's one of those things where it's so god damn stupid lookin that he just has to have it. it's probably like a small ass watering can with googly eyes and you bet his ass tries to justify it for his small plants but that's a lie!!! he just likes it!!! he also has a rubber duck to keep his plants company that looks strangely like marius but nope, it's just a coincidence.

marius has a ton but it depends what your definition of embarrassing is. he has a portrait of the whole nxx team in his art studio that he gets embarrassed to show and no one has ever seen it,,, but he also has a lot of joke art pieces bc having fun is a good way to get rid of art block and shit!! does he have a scale replica of a vaguely realistic ninja turtle? absolutely. deep down tho he tried his hand at writing edgy poetry when he was a teen and his brother made him keep it so he can't really throw it away but he's never showing anyone bc iTS SO BAD

Daniel and YN 3 🌗🌗

Rainy days are crazy. Some of YN’s best and worst memories were on a rainy day. It was a rainy day when Daniel was born. His parents overjoyed when he decided to join the world early. The Sunny morning turned rainy when they saw something was wrong. The sky was so dark when the doctored explained that their baby didn’t get enough oxygen in the womb or when he came out. That his brain was impacted by the trauma. It took four years for Daniel’s mother to stop blaming herself, four years for her to understand that she couldn’t have known that something was wrong in her womb. Four years when they had their second child. It was a rainy day when YN and Daniel got lost. Holding each other’s hand, tightly they wandered the Kamino Ward. Hoping that their parents would be right down an alley or around the corner. That was a terrible 6th birthday for YN. The steps Daniel left in the dirt started to get deeper and more burnt. The boy slightly started to tremble. “Daniel.. it’s gonna be ok. Momma and Pop are going to find us we just have to-“ “Are you two lost?” A very tall man in a black suit asked. YN couldn’t remember his face, but his voice was eerily calm and smoothe. His head had snow white hair on it. A look at him would’ve left even the hero All Might scared. “ye…Yes. My brother and I can’t find our parents..” “Oh dear. Well I can help you. They couldn’t have gotten far.” He held his hand to Daniel. And he almost took it had YN not stepped in. “We’re not supposed to touch strangers.” “Oh yes, that’s a very good rule. Well my name is.. Shigaraki. Now what are yours?” “…yn.. and daniel..” “Now we aren’t strangers. Let’s get you two somewhere safe. Your brother’s quirk might level the neighborho-“ “YN! DANIEL!” The relieved voice of their father shouted out. And the two quickly turned away, toward his calls and open arms. Tears running down their faces, swearing to never wander off again. The day was saved. When YN went to turn to Mr Shigaraki to tell him it was fine, he had disappeared into the crowd. But one question lingered in her head. How did he know Daniel’s quirk could be dangerous? It was a sunny day at first when YN and Daniel went out to the park for their Day out. YN had already planned to tell her parents that she wanted to come back here for her 12th birthday in a few months. Daniel kept over-stimulating himself with every single thing that caught his eyes. The anthill, the trees, the way the wind carried the leaves, when he and YN jumped around over the hopscotch drawings. When the rain came down they didn’t want to leave. They wanted to splash in the wetness like a couple of ducks. But Momma was insistent it was time to go back to the apartment. Inside the car YN immediately put on her headphones to listen to nightcore covers of popular songs. It wasn’t until she noticed her mom’s terrified expression and felt her dad’s fear did she take them off. “-I DONT KNOW ITS NOT BREAKING!” “WE’RE GOING RIGHT INTO TRAFFIC! DO SOMETHING!” “..momma?..” “DANIEL! YN GET DOWN!” That was the last thing her mother said to her. The rain hit the car harder. Daniel was quick to cover his little sister as the car swerved towards a large truck. YN felt her brother shield over their bodies. The last thing she heard from her father was a yell. Before they crashed into the truck. Before YN and Daniel were flung out into the side of the road. Scratches beginning to litter their arms and cheeks. YN felt the rain on her face as she tried looking up. Tried finding her parents. It was a rainy day when the last image of her parents was the crushed front end of the car. 🌗🌗

The incident at the cafe left a bigger mess then was intended. Of course the waitress didn’t say a word about who caused the mess, still terrified of the threat, but the manager still called the police. At the moment it was being investigated as a break in. It wasn’t until they started to bag the broken vases as evidence did they think to call a hero as they believed this was a terrorist villain trying to strike more fear. When the first cop touch the broken vases he immediately fell over and started seizing. Like someone had sent hundreds of volts up through his gloved fingers and into his blood stream. The second cop tried picking up the glass with prongs so that she wouldn’t get the same effect. But she still felt some pain and volts. Even the glass windows were giving off static. When they were examined no one could find a point of impact. It was almost like they spontaneously exploded. Worse and more confusing yet was the fact that the material seemed to give off radiation spikes. From a computer screen image, it was like a red glow was emanated from the glass. When the police tried to check the cameras, all the footage was either ruined, too melted to gather anything. It left them in a stump. So they had to make a plea to the hero society to get fresh eyes and help on the case. Not expecting any big response. Some heroes wanted to solve the mystery because it stumped them as well. This quirk residue was something unseen before. Calls and emails were left. All saying they would look into it. And it seemed like this would just be a mysterious case left forgotten. That is until the All Might showed up in the station one morning. Along with his protege Deku. They said they wanted to solve the case because if this person left such a dangerous residue after using their quirk, then they were a danger to themselves and others. No on saw the real intentions in their eyes. When they asked about the only other patron in the cafe the police said that they tried tracking them down, but they were gone into the wind. The only other patron at the cafe made their way into a compound. Holding treats meant for a little girl. But first he had to make a stop at his boss’s office. “Hey.. Kai. You won’t believe what Just saw.” Meanwhile in the station two separate rats made calls to two separate people. “Put me through to Shigaraki…. Hello. I have something interesting to tell you. Something that might please you and your Sensei.” “Oh hey there Aizawa. Detective Tsukauchi here. Look I you know about that cafe destruction a week ago? Yea well I think you outta here about this.” Indeed the cafe incident left a bigger mess than intended. 🌗🌗

Daniel and YN part 5 🌗🌗

They’d been gone for at least two months. YN’s feet hurt and Daniel missed his own bed. But they had to keep going, with no intended final destination but a goal to keep away from the previous home they ran from. After the morning at the cafe, YN and Daniel had kept to the shadows for the rest of the day. But they couldn’t keep going like this. They needed to eat today but not at a restaurant. There was only one dreaded… dreaded option. The grocery store. So after they checked in at the latest motel with kitchens in the rooms, the siblings ventured off to the store.YN couldn’t leave Daniel alone yet. He’d panic and probably have a fit. The store was minimally packed. Since it was still early in the day it seemed like they would zip in and out with relative ease. After grabbing the bare essentials, and what she could pack in a backpack without much drag, it was time to go to the candy aisle. It was a long journey thus far, a journey deserving of some sour candies. But of course there had to be another person there. Invading space and looking right at her favorites. She wanted to just grab and go. But her hand and the stranger's hand touched as they reached for the same one. “Sorry. I should’ve watched where I was going heh..” The tall redhead said. A small blush on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s fine. Lemme just grab and go here.” She looked back for Daniel, luckily he was close by staring at the varieties of pocky they had. Turning back she noticed his uniform. UA, that might prove to be a complication. But YN was desperate for some kind words and a brief moment to talk to someone her own age. “So you go to UA? Are you a general student or a hero course student?” “Oh hero course definitely! I even have my hero name chosen!” “Wow that’s great. I hope in a few years I get to be saved by…?” “Red Riot!” “Like Crimson Riot?” “Exactly! I really admire him and I hope I live up to his-“ “OI SH**TY HAIR! WE’RE GONNA BE LATE! GRAB YOUR CRAP AND LET’S GO!” A blonde kid shouted down the aisle, also wearing a UA outfit. YN couldn’t place why but she felt like she’d known him before. That volume felt very familiar, but it startled her brother who jumped in fear causing the pocky he saw to fall off the shelving. Time to go now. “I should go anyway. It was nice meeting you.” “Wait, we could walk you and your brother to your school if you guys want?” “We have to go.” The blonde got closer and she could tell something was perpetually up his ass. “Bye.” “Wait! My name’s Eijiro Kirishima. What’s yours?” “YN. Just YN. That’s my brother Daniel.” And before he or his companion could ask anything else the two siblings fast walked toward the checkout and were out the door before they got another chance to talk to them. “YN… huh she was pretty cool right bakubro!” “What ever. Let’s get going before we show up after Deku.” But that name was familiar to him. The girl had long since faded from his mind, but how could anyone forget the day when a quirkless kid tried bashing your head into the dirt. He planned on apologizing the next day for his comments but she was gone. Gone and almost forgotten. It could be possible that this was just someone who shared the same name. But maybe.. possibly.. the universe was giving him the chance to apologize. “YN.” 🌗🌗

Daniel and YN part 6 🌗🌗

YN never really liked her neighbors. She never outright loathed them, but she was uncomfortable with how Inko kept trying to be her mother, and how Izuku had this strange obsessive stare when he looked at her. As long as they stayed in their apartment and never bothered them it would all be fine. But their parents couldn’t watch them all the time. So on days when momma and pop went out Miss Midoryia would graciously watch them. YN never liked pity. So when Miss Midoryia tried to pity and feel sorry about YN’s quirkless status, that just made her dig her heels in longer. She didn’t need people to fuss over her like she was a glass doll. At least with Izuku she could’ve had a companion. She did try to get along with him. But he was so weird. Just because they both were quirkless didn’t mean they’d would be close. “So why are you homeschooled?” “I get into fights.” “Why?” “Because people are mean and they think they’ll have no consequences to their words. I proved them wrong.” “Were they mean because you’re quirkless or because Daniel is… different?” Now obviously he didn’t mean any harm by that. But an emotional 10 year old girl is not someone to mess with. So with a sharp glare to his face the conversation quickly died. In the dining room, Daniel would usually be coloring. Or playing with his legos. Something to stim and distract his mind. Sometimes he’d just pull out a old painting his dad got him, and he’d spend hours looking at the strokes and would mentally add a new feature. Twirling the hair on his head whilst sucking/biting his thumb. “Daniel? Would you like some water?” “No miss. I want momma.” “I know sweetie but she won’t be gone forever. And you call me Inko” Though she’d prefer him to call her something more affectionate. Throughout the night Inko kept trying to mother them. She hovered over YN’s neck and tried petting her head which resulted in a swipe from the little girl. By the time YN’s parents got back, she was relieved and spent the rest of the night complaining to her mom about how she didn’t want to go over to the neighbors anymore and how she felt uncomfortable. Across the hall the two greenettes were enamored with the two kids. Inko adored how sweet Daniel was, how shy he looked to her. Izuku was star struck at this girl without a quirk who was so quick to fight against the norms put in place by a society against them. They'd soon make it a habit to try to talk to the family in the hall, or bump into them on the street. One day, after the family had been gone for a couple weeks, they saw the two with several police officers and a social worker packing away all their belongings. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that something terrible had happened. When Inko offered to watch them, the social worker confirmed the worst and took the children away. Three weeks later, as her son was at school Inko kept trying to find the legal way for her to gain custody of the kids when her door was knocked. Her husband, AFO, on the other side. She tried telling him to go away. Tried saying that he had no part in Izuku’s life anymore. But he had a bigger role than known. “How can you be so cruel my love? Especially now that I’ve opened the door for you to gain what you want?” “What do you mean?” “I’ll help you gain custody of the two children you are craving. I happen to have a fascination with them as well.” “I can’t ever guarantee that we’ll be a whole family ever again.” “Of course not. I wouldn’t expect you to. But let’s try something for now.” So Inko made a deal with the devil, to gain two angels. 🌗🌗

Hear me out “Miss wanna die” is Mikey’s song

Warning Spoilers

I found this old song from when Nightcore was popular and listened to it. It was another Japanese song with a bopping beat, yet when I listen to the English i’m like wtf. Because it’s another song about suicide except it’s a little more straight forward.

Remember “Racing into the Night”?

It’s not as up beat as Racing into the Night, however it is more straight forward with a pretty hyped beat. Like it’s not slow song. The beat gives off a Pop culture Idol group rhythm. If Racing into the Night is fast beat than “Miss wanna die” is middle pace.

Literally the name says it all “Miss wanna die”

Black hair Mikey killed all of the Tomen member, yet he gave Takemichi the chance to kill him. That showed how he was suicidal and wanted to die in my opinion. But that he kind of didn’t because he could have easily taken his own life.

And I don't know why

Remember when Takemaichi held dying black hair Mikey in his arms and started crying. Somewhere deep down I feel that Mikey would question why he cried in the first place. Considering he murdered all they’re friends in a fit of madness. And tried to kill Takemaichi as well.

Not enough, not enough

Circling back to the pervious statement. These lyrics would represent all the pain and suffering he had went through after losing his loved one. Even the ones he intentionally killed. As if each person death left a scar.

I wanna live, wanna live

Bonten Mikey bottled up all of his feelings inside just so he can protect the people that he can save. So, when Takemaichi came to speak with him Mikey basically said that he died along time ago. That he isn’t the same Mikey from Tomen. But, Takemaichi ignited that will to live again when he saved Mikey from his suicide (attempt?). Signaling that he still wanted to live again.

Mikey never realized it himself, but he already cried out for help when he asked Takemaichi to knock some sense into him if he went off the right path. Kind of like how his older brother would have if he was still alive. This was reinforced when Mikey cried because Takemichi basically said “I won’t stop until you ask for my help. That way I can help you.” Mikey keeps things to himself. By asking for help he acknowledged that he needed help.

This has two meanings:

Depression: When they grow mushrooms in the corner.

Death: When mushrooms grow around dead things or on dead bodies.

Both correct considering that Boten Mikey is mostly dead in the future especially if Future Takemaichi died of blood lost. At the time Mikey was also in a very deep state of depression, therefore he would have died with his depression.
