best idea ever

okay, you know how all the recent batman tv shows have kinda just been "eh" in the last 5 years?

okay, I have an amazing idea.

batman police procedural

listen to me tho!!!

everyone is always hung up on the kick punching and stuff.

but batman is a detective first always, he is the "world greatest detective" after all!!!

so how about a show where we literally just follow bruce being batman and following leads, in a kinda drama comedy?

listen to me, batman I love serious batman. but fucking hell there's been too much, let bruce be funny!

let him just go be a deceptive little shit!

I want to follow bruce throughout his day from that start of the case to the end.

I want to see bruce being the CEO of Wayne tech! I want 6 seasons where we introduce dick, Jason, and Tim!

I want so badly for a batman show to lean so deeply into how fucking funny the batfam actually is, like let Dick actually have fun and be funny!!!!

like it'd actually be so fucking fun and fresh, because we will get to see bruce go about his day running Wayne tech and doing stuff in the day and then him doing stuff at night as batman!

I want to see Harvey dent and Jim gordon like every episode, hell Harvey and bruce going on detective adventures? while no one knows he's batman?

fuck yeah!

they are literally best friends they've known each other for YEARS, Harvey calls him in for help one day and Jim is there.

and bruce ends up helping out the GCPD like alot, while being batman on the side.

like it's not at all out of character for him to do it, I'd say in character!

then we get a twoface reveal and an arc where bruce is trying to save Harvey from Harv.

joker can suck a lemon he will be introduced in season 4, the main big bad is Harv.

like, I would kill for a batman police procedural inspired by like psych and such!!!!

bruce can just be bruce, and he can be lacksidasical and sarcastic and a asshole. let him actually solve mysteries as bruce!!!!!!!!

let bruce be bruce! explore his relationships outside of being batman!!!!

just saw someone say Rick Riordan making a TV show is just as bad as anything JKR has done. BFFR you're comparing Rick Riordan trying to make his world more inclusive, changing some parts because of money/time constraints, or just making changes cus he thinks they're needed, to JKR being a terrible person!

it is so extremely underutilized that Nico is heavily implied to have powers of just. anything ghosts are reportedly able to do.

we know canonically that he can drop temperatures to freezing/to the point where it creates frost, and does so involuntarily or unknowingly at times. We know he can project emotions and memories out onto others, just in general and with physical force - both his own memories/emotions and general emotions as well, such as radiating an aura onto his enemies so that they would fear him more. We know it's heavily implied he can straight up create illusions and inflict madness upon others. We know he's eerily silent when he moves and seems to just appear in places. We know he can control/walk through/mess with dreams. We know he can become intangible and pass through solid objects and terrain without even realizing it.

like, that alone is so much! but the fact that it's implied that's not it? there's MORE?

Where's Nico fucking with EVPs and speaking through radios or static or TV. Throwing his voice. Nico remotely setting things on and off, or draining batteries, or making cell service fuzz out. Nico totally turning invisible (also a Hades' Helm of Darkness thing, so double reason for Nico to be able to do that). Where's Nico inflicting sleep paralysis. Where's Nico straight up making the walls bleed. Let him do more ghost stuff!

I forget sometimes you guys have not watched half the shows I have,

you guys would EXPLODE if I tried to explain mort lore.

(from yk dream works's Madagascar?? yeah that guy? little brown lemur? yeah fucked up, almost completely crazed fever dream lore.)

anyway I was thinking about the cinematic parallels with chef and Chris from total drama and how it's literally the same fucking thing that happens in Hannibal mostly.

murderous eccentric loved by many: Chris

manipulates, doesn't care how many he kills because it's exciting: Chris

mutilates and disfigures people for his own enjoyment: Chris

wealthy: Chris

gets sent to jail because he's a fucking murder: Chris

pulls a good guy and turns him evil and is gay for him: Chris

I can go on and on, uh you may be saying

"what the fuck?? that happens in this show??? what's it even rated??"

it's PG, guys.. it's a kids show. total drama is surprisingly dark, it's awesome I suggest it if you like weird shows that are a spoof of survivor.

but my god is the show literally just Chris being fucking murderous and gay for chef the entire time.

THIS MAN HAS KILLED 78 PEOPLE HE CANNONICALLY WENT TO PRISON FOR IT. CHEF LITERALLY GOT HIM OUT.

(mostly it was the show getting another season, idk how they got him out of jail. 100% it was chef tho)

like they are full on murder husbands, this show is so chaotic and cringe but mostly just "CHRIS WTF" it's fucking great.

literally inlove gay murder husbands, it's fucking crazy how similar it parallels Hannibal (2013) while being older than it.

I love this show it's awesome.
