y'know sometimes I go to make a post on this here webbed site, and I almost always end up deletin it cause I measure it through the "how widely applicable is this" + "how horribly can people twist this" metrics and it just stops my little fingies from typin

Feral Brozone au

They never lived in the tree. Their parent(s?) Escaped while JD was really little and Spruce was still an egg, so only JD has very vague memories of the rest of the pop trolls. They live out in the wild, starting out at just hard-core survivalists like canon JD. But after the passing of their parent(s) for whatever reason, critter attack or accident idk, they slowly get more and more wild. Especially Branch, who never even got to meet their parents. JD doesn't really know what he's doing, raising kids, and only has what little he picked up from his parents or the critters around them to go by. So he turns their makeshift pod into a giant nest they all sleep together in, he turns to more physical affection and they all begin speaking less. Why use unnecessary words when they understand each other just fine?

Fast forward, we're gonna pretend Viva never got separated from Poppy, and she kinda takes Branch's place in the first (possibly second) movie. She's more paranoid because she came terrifyingly close to being taken, and is traumatized. Her colors are dulled, but not gray. So qhen all the other trolls go gray in the pot, Viva is the only one with a bit of color left. So she cheers Poppy up, and then regains her full color.

After maybe the second movie, when they're exploring the other Troll Genres, they stumble across Feral Brozone. They never actually became a band, so no one knows their names but them. Poppy befriends Branch pretty quickly, and after much coercion and building trust they convince the brothers to come to Pop Village. Peppy recognized JD just enough to know who his parent(s) was, but that's it. Poppy and Viva help them adjust to society, but also start picking up some habits. Like more physical closeness, making a nest in their pod to sleep in, maybe some acapella too lmao. The boys didn't have instruments, but JD loved singing so he started vocalizing the instrumentals for his brothers to learn. I dunno.

so some homestuck troll shit-

my actual belief is that it isnt really saliva (atleast in the case of vox. lucifer. alastor.. we know vals is saliva) but instead blood and its supposed to indicate that the character is being "bloodthirsty" / violent.

it would make sense given all the scenes we see it used.

vox telling pentious to kill himself. the beginning of stayed gone. vox's finale hate boner. alastor doing creepy radio demon shit.

lucifer is even SAYING the word Blood during his scene. though its in the context of the family line, given the timing i can only imagine its deliberate.

the only exception id say would be at the end of poison (unless they're concocting a really devious plan). though id wager to say that in that scene specifically it actually is valentinos saliva

in this scene and this scene alone vox red droplets were on the left side of the screen (theres technically another time, buts its really on both sides of his screen there so).

this is right after we see angel with driplets on his left side, and you can see that val has his on the right side, (which is weird cause he mostly has it on his left side too?) which would be the sides to link up during a kiss

or maybe they're just sprite flipped idk

for lucifer's case I just thought he bit his lip while saying the line cause he was that pissed LMAO, funny how his blood is like an ugly yellow in that scene compared to the usual glowing yellow or gold we see from other angels. (also not the fucking homestuck troll comparison ksdkfflhl SOLLUX CAPTOR??)

I originally just held the idea vox produced it himself and the strong emotions were actually from making out with val (yes I do actually think they made out in this scene I just didn't buy into the val saliva theory) but you bringing up the different side of the lines from usual and the mirroring is a good point actually, I didn't realise that, honestly changed my mind and convinced me that yeah this specific case it is val's saliva

see the thing is, I do think it CAN mean he was making out with val I just don't think it NECESSARILY does cause of all the times it happens outside of val like I said. in this case, yeah they were probably making out LMAO.

in other cases, nope.

my thing isn't that I'm against the idea of it coming from val, it's more like some people act like it's a definite indicator that they were making out whenever vox has it, but I don't think that's the case at all, the red lines are definitely something vox can form by himself

so, in case y'all are wondering why i haven't been too active the last few days, after a few people like catgirldick and predestrogen got banned just for being transfem, i decided to (mostly) leave tumblr. i've moved over to the fediverse in its place. for those who aren't aware what it is, i'll explain it later, but for those who are, go follow me there! i'm @[email protected]! expect a lot of the same type of content i've posted here - random shitposting (sometimes lewd), programming content, and other nerdy stuff.

for those who don't know what the fediverse is, you can think about it i guess like mixing a social network with how email works - anyone can host an email server, and that email server can talk to any other email servers that people host. anyone can host a fediverse instance on their own server, and that server can talk to any other server. you can see posts people make on other server, other people can see posts you make. people can reply to them, boost/favorite them, etc. and you're able to just... host your own instance if you know how! format-wise, it's a lot like twitter was, minus character limits.

for moderation, depending on what circles of the fediverse you're in, you're not gonna get "banned" just for being trans like you are here. moderation on the fediverse is largely dependent on the instance your account is on - the instance being analogous to "what email provider you use". if people think you're trolling for example, they can report you, and your instance's administrators will receive the report. if the admin doesn't action the report at all, they risk the entire server being blocked by other servers. in other words - the way the fediverse is set up, it's extremely unlikely that someone would be banned for the bullshit reasons tumblr users get banned for, while still having users get banned for legitimate reasons like spam or uh... other reasons you can probably guess i won't get into here.

my reasons for moving boil down to this: i don't want to support tumblr and their actions moderation wise, both recently and non-recently. i'll still occasionally be here to reblog stuff, but posts and other not-really-passive interactions from me will be more rare here.

also honestly, the fediverse, at least in the parts i'm active in, is a lot more gay than tumblr is lmao

I agree that DNIs are best used as a boundary warning / "excuse" to block (not that you need an excuse to block someone, but you know).

Are minors physically capable of pressing a "follow" or "reblog" or "like" button on an account with "🔞 NSFW so minors DNI" in bio? Are antis capable of following someone with "antis not welcome i hate you" in bio? Yes they are, in the same way anyone is physically capable of touching the "do not touch" display in a museum or anyone is physically capable of cheating in a class with a zero tolerance for cheating warning on the syllabus. But once you do it, you have a "reason" to get expelled from the situation now. (yes i know none of these things are on the same level lmao dont worry)

Even then, the group being asked to "not interact" will likely have a miserable experience on the account if they DO interact, so what even is the point? if a terf follows someone who says terfs don't follow, the terf has no right to be shocked when the person starts posting pro-trans stuff. . .if someone hates otherkin and follows someone with an "anti-kins don't interact", and gets upset when that person posts about their kintypes, they only have themselves to blame. . .it almost has troll energy when you get to a certain point? A common thing I see in younger groups on fan twitter (not using younger as an insult nor even as anything to mean "ha cringe teenagers", it's just a genuine observation that this is most common in ~-25 people) is "DNI if you hate my fave (characters/shows/ships/etc)s." If I follow you despite hating your fave shows because I like another fandom you're in, I don't exactly have the right to get annoyed when you post about them. What I do have the right to do is mute the words or unfollow, or realize, "hmm, yeah, maybe that silly DNI i rolled my eyes at initially is there for my own benefit as well as OP's."

I think the only time DNI is a sorta weird thing to expect to be obeyed, is when your post "breaches containment" so to speak. "If you're anti self diagnose, don't follow my mental health blog"? Valid. "Anti self diagnose, don't interact" banner on your posts you post to that blog? A little bit cringe, but overall can still be an out for "I'll block you if I notice you're reblogging my posts and you hold this opinion." "Anti self dx don't follow" warning that's deep in your carrd, that is deep in your links page, that is deep in your blog's pinned profile? Yeah, I'm not gonna check for that just in order to reblog your funny mental health meme that you made. (I'm now realizing this is a bad metaphor as I'm not actually anti self diagnoses so I'd be able to interact with this guy i just made up, but whatever.)

Sweet. Sugary, soft, creamy, tooth-wrotting, succulent, flavourful...and utterly horrific...were the words you would use to describe what you saw before you.

You were in front of a table laden with at least forty different types of sweets, cakes, pastries and desserts. This was diabetes personified. The overwhelming scent of sweetness, which would be mouth-watering usually, made you feel nauseous. You loved sweets but even you admitted this was a bit much. Especially, if this was today's dinner menu.

"Uh, Kanato? I'm not sure if we should be eating so many sweets for dinner. Reiji may get angry if we eat up all the desserts that have been prepared for tomorrow's ball." You were currently in the kitchen in front of a large table filled with desserts that were prepared to be served to at least a hundred people.

Kanato turned to look at you, his expression looking displeased and bordering on angry, which made you second guess your words.

"I don't care what Reiji has to say about it. I will eat as many desserts as I desire. If you bring up his name like that again I will make sure you're never able to speak anything with that offensive tongue again. Oh, and also what gave you the idea that you would be having any? Did you really think that I would give you some? Perhaps you are becoming too conceited and i need to remind you of your place. Stop saying such foolish things. Do you understand, Miss _____ ?" Kanato said while glaring at you with a serious and dangerous expression that you knew not to take lightly.

"S-sorry, I'll stop." You said trying your best not to upset this purple-haired gremlin troll.

"Good." Kanato stated and then immediately turned around to continue filling a large plate with any and all pastries and desserts that he could pick up off the table.

Despite yourself, you couldn't stop a feeling of longing for the treats. They looked so delectable but you knew that Reiji would not be pleased if he found out you ate any of the treats and even if all the blame went on Kanato, Kanato still wouldn't allow you to eat any of the sweets even though he was not supposed to be eating them either. He was stingy with sweets and you did not want to test him in case he started spewing out his gorey and horrifying threats at you, throwing a crying fit and then temper tantrum or quite literally strangling the life out of you and gorging out your eyeballs.

Oh, but the cheesecake in the corner looked so good...

You stared at it with longing.

Kanato must have noticed because he turned to look at you with an annoyed expression.

"Stop looking at my treats that way. I don't like it. Do you really think you have any right to do that?...You need to be punished."

His words made you still, you didn't think such a harmless thing would set him off. Your mind went to all the horrible things he could and would do to you.

You prepared to apologise or do whatever to get him to forgive you, you didn't want want to live through whatever nightmare his twisted mind conjured up for you.

"Kanato, I'm so sorr-"You halted when you saw what he was doing.

He went up to the cheesecake you were eyeing and cut a slice and put it onto his plate. Then he took a spoonful and walked towards you.

No-no way. Was he going to allow you to eat the cheesecake?

He walked to you with the spoon lifted up in the air in front of him. He stood in front of you with it.

You looked at Kanato with hopeful eyes. Was he actually being nice today? You couldn't help but let a large smile break onto your face. You didn't know Kanato could be so nice.

Maybe he had grown sick and tired of always being a wicked, insane, sadistic, cruel little troll and felt sorry for you. Maybe he had a secret nice side to him but just refused to show it because of his tragic past like one of those romance book heroes. You weren't complaining if it meant you would get the best kind of cheesecake you had ever seen in your life.

Kanato raised the spoon with a small smile gracing his lips. You opened your mouth without hesitation and waited for the delicious taste of cheesecake to grace your mouth.

Kanato raised it until your mouth...and then...further up and into his own.

Since the moment your relationship with Christian went public, you’ve been receiving a lot of mixed reactions. Some are positives, and some are negatives. Dating a famous professional athlete was never in your book, but somehow you met and fell in love with him despite his job and status. Besides, you can’t really control who you love can you? You didn’t care that he’s famous nor will you ever, because it didn’t matter. What truly matters is the genuine love shared between the two of you.

No, you’re not a celebrity. You weren’t famous at all. You work nowhere near the media or even football. You’re just someone ‘ordinary’. You randomly met him at a bar in London during a night-out with your girlfriends – one went to a college in London, and you happened to be in the city to visit her. You knew who Christian was but you didn’t want to freak him out so you tried to act cool, and before you knew it he asked for your number. From there on, the rest is history.

Days before you two went ‘Instagram official’, you were already so anxious about how people were going to react. You know he has a lot of fans, and they could be pretty ruthless with their comments. They basically could get away with anything, since they could create any persona they wanted and stayed anonymous on the internet, which was and still is terrifying to even think about. You didn’t want to hear people talking shit about your relationship, but at the same time you knew it was sort of inevitable. You two wanted to keep it lowkey, but didn’t want to hide it from the world. After long talks and careful considerations, you both decided to go public.

You couldn’t be grateful for the support people have given you, but negative comments about you and your relationship sometimes would mess with your head.

You’ve been trying to ignore those awful comments, but since you’re not used to the attention, it was hard not to think about those things they’d said. You knew they’re nothing but strangers on the internet, but you couldn’t stop thinking to yourself: what if everything they said was true? Am I not good enough for Christian? Does this relationship not make sense? Are we not going to last?

Christian has been very protective of you, and he’s told you so many times to just ignore everything. He’s been reassuring you that those internet trolls have no idea what they’re talking about.

“Y/N, love... Stop. Just stop looking at those comments.” He took your phone, locked the screen, and put it away. 

“You are perfect for me, Y/N, they just don’t know that. God, you’re fucking amazing! Believe me, if they got to know you, they would take their words back.”

You shrugged and shook your head while looking down, “You’re my boyfriend, of course you’d say that.”

His brows knitted as he let out a sigh, “No, that’s not true! Even if I wasn’t, I’d definitely say what I said. Why can’t you see it?”

“Christian...” You paused, “do you think our relationship is going to last? I mean, I love you...” You were fidgeting your fingers, hesitated a little to continue because you were afraid of how he was going to react. 

“But I- I just... I don’t think I’m good enough for you,” you whimpered.

“Excuse me?”

You took a deep breath, still avoiding eye contact, “maybe they were right, Chris. You deserve bet-”

“No,” he cut you off before you even finished what you were saying, “don’t even think about it. I wouldn’t have asked you to be my girlfriend if I didn’t think we’re going to last. There is- hey, look at me,” as he lifted up your chin, your eyes met his beautiful chocolate eyes, “there is no one else that fits me better but you, Y/N. You are my one and only. If anything, you are way out of my league.” 

You blushed, trying not to giggle but you couldn’t help it. “Dammit Pulisic, you really have a way with words don’t you?”

He grinned, he was pleased to hear your cute little giggle. “I’m the luckiest fucking guy,” he said before he leaned closer to you, his lips was gently pressed against yours for a moment, then he whispered, “I still couldn’t believe you are mine.”

That man really swept you off your feet. You have never experienced this kind of love before. Every single day with him feels like heaven. When it’s just the two of you, it feels like the world revolves around you – nothing else matters but you and him. He is the only man you’ve ever had late night talks with – well, it’s mostly late night for him because you live in the States and you’re like 5 hours behind him. Hell, you both dropped the L bomb to one another a month into your relationship – your friends thought it was way too fast, but the truth is it wasn’t. You had never been so sure about any man ever, and you just knew Christian is different – special, one-of-a-kind. 

Before no one acknowledged you, you felt a lot freer. You didn’t have to worry about how others would perceive you or judge you. Now, people are watching your every move, ready to bring up even the tiniest mistake you made just because you’re dating their favorite footballer. You became very self-conscious, and Christian noticed that. He felt guilty because he thought because of him you had to go through this and he knew you didn’t deserve any of the horrible judgements, but he’s never stopped giving you the reassurance you needed. At one point, he wanted to post something on Instagram to defend you, however you told him not to so he didn’t do it.

“Baby...” as he held your hands, “honestly, I just want the world to know you’re mine. I’m sorry that I’ve caused you any trouble, but I don’t want you to worry ‘cause I’m always here for you. They don’t know shit about us, they really don’t...”

“I know Chris, I know. I just, um... I need time to get used to this, you know? This is the risk I have to take to be with you, and I will eventually find my way around it.”

He smiled and nodded, he understood how you were feeling. “Let’s just keep things between us, yeah? It’s more than enough that they now know we’re together. Who cares, right?”

You laughed a bit, “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”

“I just want you to know... You’re it for me.” He kissed the top of your head, then rested his forehead against yours. “I love you, Y/N. Now and forever.”

Your cheeks turned bright red and the biggest smile appeared on your face. “I love you, Christian.”

The recent rise of certain antis not knowing how to spell, using abbreviations for almost every word they type, and talking like they can’t be any older than 15 is really concerning tbh.

And when I say “taking like they can’t be any older than 15”, I mean they lack any sort of argument or desire to have one while using patterns in their text that is shocking similar to middle schoolers to early high schoolers using (all the way down to the slang, abbreviations, and punctuations). Everything boils down to “lol kys pedo 💀”. Like, do they not realize how dumb they sound? Do they not realize that every anon ask I get that sounds at all like this, I just delete it and move on with my day? Nobody takes them seriously besides the antis who are on the same wavelength as them, and that’s not something they should be proud of (they are proud btw). And they really think they are getting somewhere with it. Really it’s just annoying :/ I used to be an internet troll back in my day (13 to be exact lol), and what made it fun wasn’t the “hahaha I hate you” aspect of it, it was the debate. Well, for me at least. So I really don’t understand this whole thing that these new antis who have been showing up on my dash lately who have absolutely no point to be made, contradict themselves, and don’t even bother to look at anything other than a label someone uses. What do they gain from this? Like seriously. There’s no gain from my perspective when nobody is taking what you say with any seriousness and your just a minor annoyance.

I really am concerned though, and this is regardless of this new wave’s actual ages, because I’m not assuming that they are minors without proof of such (I have reason to have high suspicion that they are minors, but that’s not relevant) (and if they are minors, who fucking told them it was at all ok to interact with people who they think are pedophiles?). But like, do folks not realize that harassment with no real logic behind it just makes them look stupid when it’s done in this fashion? Like, harassment in general is dumb, but this is worse for some reason imo. I’m in awe tbh, like, /srs on this one. I’m concerned about people’s basic literacy skills and their ability to think about things rationally. If this wave consisted of people who had valid criticism and wanted to hold a debate about the topics at hand (which, personally, I love the antis who are like this because I love holding serious discussion on complicated topics), then it would be a completely different story. But there’s been nothing but stupidity clogging up my dash lately, and I’m kinda annoyed :/
