Your boss made you work overtime. You were exhausted. All you wanted to do was rush home & cuddle with your boyfriend and stuff your faces with fast food while watching your favorite movies. You smiled at that thought. You loved your boyfriend more than anyone else in the world. He was your first love. You had a crush on him since you were 12 years old. Your moms were best friends, so it made it easy to see him & hang out with him. Throughout the years your feelings just grew more & more. You were certain you would never love anyone as much as him. You had a crush on him for 5 years before you confessed to him.He told you he could only date you after graduation & after you turned 18 because you were a year younger than him. You didn’t mind waiting since you loved him so much. Finally, on your 19th birthday, he asked you out & you started dating. You couldn’t have been happier. Both of you enjoyed each other's company so much. You rarely argued & when you did you both would make up before going to bed that day. Both your moms were convinced you would end up getting married one day. It was like the perfect love story to ever be written.

Or so you thought. You just entered your shared apartment with your boyfriend & the lights were turned off. “Weird”, you thought. “He should have been home by now”, you thought to call him once you freshened up.

But when you entered your shared bedroom you were met with an ugly sight. A random girl you’ve never met before on your boyfriend's. Both of them were shirtless & were making out.

You stood just stood there shocked & hurt. Your boyfriend noticed you & immediately pushed the girl off him. He tried grabbing your hand but you pulled it away & started screaming about how he could do this to you with tears streaming down your face. You went to the closet & pulled out a duffel bag & threw it at him yelling at him to get out & take his side piece with him. You screamed you never wanted to see his face ever again here & took his key to your shared apartment & slammed the door in his face.

That night you just cried & cried till you could barely breathe. It felt like someone had ripped out your heart, stabbed it & set it on fire & put it back in.

The next morning you were a mess. You called your mom & told her what happened. She was shocked & comforted you & told his mother as well. His mother called you to comfort you and to apologize on his behalf. You just blocked both their numbers later. You didn’t want any connection to him whatsoever. That day you took leave from work & just sat at home. All you could think about was how you wasted years of your life loving that jerk. Tears started flowing out of your eyes again. You just closed your eyes & soon fell asleep.

3 years later…..

You started picking yourself up. You did all the things you couldn’t while you were dating your ex-boyfriend. You dyed your hair to a cherry red color & did your nails. Your ex never let you cause he told you it was “fake” & you would be catfishing him. Then you got a cat. You loved cats. You couldn’t get one because your ex didn’t like them. Thinking back you should have found that as a big red flag cause who doesn’t like cats? Then you got a gym membership & started working out. Your ex never let you cause he said you couldn’t look better than he did. You quit your job & started studying cosmetology since you loved makeup & it was your dream to be a makeup artist one day. But your ex had told you it wasn’t a real job & made you apply at some boring company. You were looking & feeling much better than back then.

Your mom had tried distancing herself from his mom for you, but you told her it was fine because you felt guilty. They had been best friends since college & you didn’t want to ruin it. Occasionally, they would have family dinners together & it used to be very awkward. Each time you went you looked much better. His mom would frequently tell you how she would miss you as her “daughter-in-law” & would try to change your mind & give him another chance saying he changed. But you would always refuse saying you didn’t know if you could trust him again. He would also show up at your door drunk at times ta night trying to get you back. But you refused each time. You didn’t want to get into a relationship again. Sometimes when you go out guys would ask you for your number, but you would refuse each time. You lost the excitement & happiness you had found in love. Even though you were doing much better than before it was obvious that your eyes looked dull from back then. You lost the sparkle in them, the sparkle caused by love.

2 years later… You finished studying & got a job at an entertainment company. You were excited to work with some of your favorite idols. But you also knew you had to be professional. It was your first day working as one of HYBE entertainments makeup artists. They gave you a quick tour & the head makeup artist in charge gave you a brief introduction to everything & explained how everything has to go. Since you were pretty new they decided to put you with a girl group for the first few months of your job to see how you did & if you could be trusted with a boy group. The stylist took you to LE SSERAFIM’s room. You were going to work with them for a few months. You were pretty excited. The stylist introduced me to all the girls & she started showing me how the makeup has to be done. Over time you all got pretty close with each other. You & Yunjin got especially close. She was just very chill & easy to talk to. It became common for you both to hang out sometimes after work. After a few months, they told you they would be shifting you to SEVENTEEN’s makeup artist. You were nervous & excited. When you first met them you felt overwhelmed by them all. But got pretty used to it & became comfortable with it. Since they had a lot of members it wasn’t like working with LE SSERAFIM. There you were the only one since you could manage just fine with 5 members & finish on time, if not early. But with 13 members that’s not possible. There were 3 makeup artists including you for SEVENTEEN. So you were in charge of doing makeup for Joshua, S.coups, Jeonghan, & DK & Vernon.

On your first day when you entered the makeup studio, you caught someone’s eye… Joshua Hong. Coincidentally you bias in SEVENTEEN. His being your bias made it a little difficult to do his makeup. Since you would get shy or flustered sometimes. Over time you grew more comfortable around him & became pretty good friends with all the members. A couple of times while doing Joshua’s makeup he would compliment you & flirt with you, showing he was interested in you. The members had been off the dating ban for a while so the leader didn’t mind much. You however didn’t want to be in a relationship, so you buried your feelings deep down & became oblivious to his flirting which did make him sad sometimes. A couple of times he would ask you out for a drink, but you played it off by thinking it was a friendly hangout & would also bring Yunjin or invite another SEVENTEEN member along as well. You never took his invites as an invite for a date. You were scared that something bad might happen again if you got into a relationship. You didn’t want your heart broken again. You didn’t ever want to feel that pain you felt that day. Plus he was an idol there was no way it would end with a fairy tale ending. With these thoughts, you brushed off all his flirting & just focused on your work.

“Hey Y/N,” Joshua called out to you, “I was on my way to the company today & I saw the flowers & they reminded me of you,” he said handing you the bouquet and flashing you his adorable smile. You had to try so hard to resist that gorgeous smile of his. You just thanked him & took the bouquet & quickly walked away. You were meeting Yunjin for lunch so you made your way to the HYBE cafeteria. “Hey girl’ Yunjin said kissing your cheeks like she always did. “Hey,” you said smiling kissing her on the cheek as well. “Ooo where did you get those flowers,” she asked raising her eyebrows and playfully nudging you. “Joshua gave them to me,” you said with slightly pink cheeks rolling your eyes at her behavior. “Aww that’s so sweet” “He’s totally into you you know” “I guess….” “What do you mean “I guess”, girl it’s so obvious” “he looks at you with so much love in his eyes, you should think about giving him a chance, not all guys are like that. Trust me” she said. & yea she knew about what happened in the past. You just sighed & nodded your head indicating you’ll think about it. You finished your lunch & started heading back up but since you still had some time left you went out to sit in the fresh air still thinking about Yunjin’s words. “Oh hey Y/N” someone called out to you. You turned your head to see Vernon. You both slightly bowed at each other & you offered him to sit with you, which he did. “I see Josh gave you those flowers,” he said. “Um yea,” you just said awkwardly. “You know he liked you right,” he said. You just said nothing & started down. “I don’t know Vernon” “I get it, there could be many issues dating an idol but trust me Josh would try to make it work. I know him, he’s not the type to hurt you Y/N, he likes you. He talks a lot about you in the dorms.” “Just think about it ok, no pressure or anything” With that Vernon got up & left. You just sat there thinking over both Yunjin & Vernon’s words.

They were right. Not all guys were like that, especially Joshua. So you got up & made your way back into the building to search for him. “Joshua!” you slightly yelled when you spotted him. “Oh hey Y/N,” he said smiling brightly at you. “I see you still have my flowers,” he said looking down at you holding them. “Yea, they’re beautiful thank you again for them by the way,” you said smiling at him. “No problem,” he said returning the smile. “Umm, Josh I was wondering…” you trailed off “Hmm?” he looked at you curious “Do you want to go out with me this weekend?” you asked nervously. “Out as in….” he asked “Like a date,” you said. He blinked for a few seconds before smiling widely while agreeing happily. You both smiled & exchanged numbers.

That weekend you both agreed to meet at a famous restaurant in town. & you would be lying if you said you didn’t have fun. You both got to know each other much better. & Joshua was hilarious as well. You both were laughing till your sides were hurting. You went back home in the best mood that night. & almost threw your phone when you got a text from Josh asking you on another date. Then it became another, then another & soon you both ended up dating. You missed this feeling so much. How happy love can be. He brought it back. & you were ever so grateful for it.

7 years later….

You were getting dressed. It wasn’t for a date. But for a funeral. You reached the venue & went to your mom. She was in tears. Your ex’s mom had unfortunately died. & since you were close to her back then you came to pay respect to her. After the funeral, you all went back to your ex’s house for food. That’s when he noticed you & came over. “Hey Y/N, you look good, much better from when I last saw you” You smiled bitterly at him “Thank you” “Y/N these past few years have been horrible without you, I should never leave you for her, she cheated on me within 3 months of us dating, what do you say we get back together,” he asked smiling hopefully. You smiled at him sweetly “I can’t” he frowned “Why not” “Cause of this” you said showing him your hand which had your engagement ring on it. Yes, Joshua proposed to you after 3 years of you guys dating, and you of gladly agreed. “& even if I wasn’t getting married to the love of my life I would never get back together with you” you stated glaring at him. Right on cue, Joshua showed up to pick you up. “Hi my love, sorry for being late. I got stuck in traffic” he said placing a loving his on your forehead. “You're right on time,” you said smiling at him. With that, he took your hand & you made your way to the car to head home so you guys could finish planning your wedding. You couldn’t help but smile at how everything turned out.

The sky was just beginning to darken as you stood with Seventeen at the edge of the abandoned city. Everyone had heard the rumors about this place—the old factories, the empty amusement park, the countless stories of hauntings and strange occurrences. It was a ghost town, but for you and the boys, it was an adventure waiting to happen.

"Alright, who's ready to explore?" S.Coups asked, his voice full of excitement. He held up his flashlight like a leader brandishing a torch.

"I'm always ready!" Hoshi exclaimed, practically bouncing with energy. You weren't surprised; he was usually the most enthusiastic in the group.

"Do we really need to do this at night?" Seungkwan asked, pretending to shiver from the wind. "I mean, isn't that how all horror stories start?"

"It's supposed to be spookier at night," you replied, giving him a reassuring pat on the back. "Besides, what's the fun without a little fear?"

Jeonghan chuckled. "Right, and if anyone gets scared, they can just hold hands with Seungkwan."

"Hey, I'm not scared!" Seungkwan retorted, crossing his arms. "I'm just... cautious."

The city loomed ahead, a mass of decaying buildings and overgrown streets. Broken streetlights flickered weakly, casting long shadows on the asphalt. Woozi, ever the pragmatic one, adjusted his bag and sighed. "Just remember, guys, we stick together. No wandering off."

"Yeah, especially you, Hoshi," Joshua added, his tone playful but with a hint of caution.

"Me? Why me?" Hoshi asked, feigning innocence.

"Because you have a habit of running off when you're excited," you said, pointing at him with your flashlight. "Last time, we almost lost you in the mall."

Mingyu, the tallest in the group, leaned against a rusted fence. "Alright, let's get moving. I want to see if we can find that amusement park. I heard there's a Ferris wheel that's still standing."

"You heard right," Vernon replied, pointing toward the distance. "It's that way. Let's go."

The group set off into the city, flashlights casting narrow beams of light across the deserted streets. The sound of their footsteps echoed, creating an eerie rhythm. Every now and then, you could hear distant sounds—perhaps animals or the wind—but it was hard to tell in a place like this.

As you walked, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. The city had been abandoned for years, but there was something about its decaying beauty that drew you in. You noticed Wonwoo taking pictures, his camera's flash lighting up the darkness.

"This place has character," he said, capturing a shot of a graffiti-covered wall. "I bet there's some cool stuff deeper in."

The8, with his artistic eye, nodded in agreement. "It's like a canvas that's been left to nature. The decay has its own beauty."

Dino, the youngest in the group, was clearly excited to be out exploring with everyone. "Hey, let's check out that alley," he suggested, pointing to a narrow path between two buildings.

"Sure, but let's stick together," you said, leading the way.

The alley was filled with debris, and the walls were covered in faded posters and graffiti. As you walked through, you noticed that the alley led to a larger street, where the faint outline of the amusement park became visible.

"There it is!" Hoshi exclaimed, picking up the pace. "Come on, let's check it out!"

The amusement park was a surreal sight. The rides were rusted and broken, the ticket booths abandoned, and the Ferris wheel loomed over the entire area, creaking in the wind. It was as if time had stopped, leaving the park frozen in a state of decay.

"Wow," Mingyu said, looking around in awe. "This is amazing."

"Yeah, amazing," DK replied, though his voice was laced with apprehension. "But does anyone else feel like we're being watched?"

"Relax," Jeonghan said, putting an arm around him. "It's just your imagination."

You led the group deeper into the park, exploring the various rides and attractions. The bumper cars were covered in rust, the carousel had lost most of its horses, and the roller coaster was overgrown with vines. Despite the decay, there was a strange beauty to it all.

"Hey, look at this," Joshua said, pointing to an old arcade. "Let's see if anything still works."

The group entered the arcade, where the smell of dust and mold filled the air. The machines were in varying states of disrepair, but The8 found one that still had power. He pressed a button, and the screen flickered to life, displaying a classic racing game.

"Who wants to race?" he asked, a playful smile on his lips.

Dino immediately stepped forward. "I'm in! Let's do this!"

As Dino and The8 played, the rest of the group explored the arcade. You noticed that Seungkwan was a bit uneasy, his gaze darting around the room.

"What's up, Seungkwan?" you asked, noticing his nervousness.

"I keep hearing things," he replied in a whisper. "Like whispers or something."

"It's probably just the wind," you said, trying to reassure him. "This place is old, and sound travels weirdly in places like this."

But as you continued exploring, you heard it too—a faint whispering, like distant voices carried by the wind. It was hard to tell where it was coming from, but it was enough to send a chill down your spine.

The group eventually left the arcade and headed toward the roller coaster. Hoshi and Mingyu were already at the top, waving down at everyone else.

"Come on up!" Hoshi shouted. "The view is amazing!"

S.Coups led the way, helping the others climb to the top of the roller coaster. From there, you could see the entire amusement park, and beyond it, the sprawling city. The sun had fully set by now, and the city was enveloped in darkness.

As you admired the view, you heard a loud crash from somewhere in the city. It was followed by a series of distant echoes, like something—or someone—was moving through the streets.

"What was that?" Woozi asked, his eyes narrowing as he listened.

"Probably just something falling," you replied, though you weren't entirely sure.

The group quickly descended from the roller coaster, heading toward the source of the noise. The shadows seemed to grow darker as you moved through the park, and the whispering grew louder.

"Guys, this is starting to get creepy," DK said, sticking close to you.

"I agree," Seungkwan replied, looking around nervously. "Maybe we should head back."

S.Coups turned to the group, his flashlight illuminating their anxious faces. "Okay, let's not take any chances. Let's head back the way we came."

As you made your way through the amusement park, you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched. The whispering continued, growing louder with each step. It was like the city itself was coming to life, its abandoned buildings and empty streets filled with unseen presences.

Just as you reached the entrance to the park, the gate slammed shut with a loud bang. Everyone jumped, and DK let out a small scream.

"What the—?" Vernon said, trying to push the gate open. It wouldn't budge.

"Why is it locked?" Joshua asked, his voice laced with concern.

"It's like someone's playing a prank on us," Jeonghan said, trying to lighten the mood. "Who's got the keys?"

"This isn't funny," you said, feeling a surge of anxiety. "We need to find another way out."

The group quickly headed back into the park, looking for another exit. The whispers seemed to be coming from all directions, and the darkness felt heavier. It was clear that something was not right.

As you moved through the park, you stumbled upon an old maintenance shed. The door was slightly ajar, and you could see a dim light coming from inside.

"Maybe there's a way out through here," Wonwoo suggested, pointing to the shed.

The group cautiously entered, their flashlights cutting through the darkness. Inside, the shed was filled with old tools and machinery. But what caught your attention was a map pinned to the wall, showing the layout of the amusement park.

"Look," you said, pointing to the map. "There's a service tunnel that leads out of the park. It's right behind this shed."

"Great, let's go!" Hoshi exclaimed, eager to get out of the park.

As you followed the map, you heard a loud bang from behind you. It was like something—or someone—had slammed a door shut. Everyone jumped, and Dino let out a small yelp.

"We need to get out of here," Woozi said, his voice tense. "This place is getting weird."

The group followed the map to the service tunnel, which was hidden behind a stack of old crates. It was narrow and dark, but it seemed to lead to an exit. You took the lead, flashlight in hand, guiding the group through the tunnel.

The whispers seemed to follow you, growing louder as you moved through the darkness. It was as if the city itself was alive, its unseen inhabitants watching your every move.

Finally, you reached the end of the tunnel, where a rusty door led to the street. You pushed it open, and a gust of fresh air greeted you. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Chapter-3

Before you could move out of yoongi's lap or anything, his phone buzzes and you both are taken out of your little dreaming world, as soon as he answers, he puts it on speaker, and you immediately recognize the owner of the voice, it's hobi, the man whom you've always considered your sunshine and yoongi's actual soulmate tbh, and who wouldn't afterall everybody loves SoPe.

"Oooo hyungg what took you so long to pick up the phone? Where are you rightnow? Why is y/n also not picking her calls?? Hyung? Are you there?" Hobiii showered dozens of questions as soon call was answered. You chuckled a little while yoongi made his usual annoyed but i love you so it's okay face, "yahhhh hobahhh have some patience! If you've reached the venue early i want to tell you honestly it will still take us 30mins to reach! And why were you calling y/n? Her phone is in the car anyways!".

You can hear hobi's typical laugh over phone and your face instantly brightens up hearing him laughing, and forms into a big smile, "mwooyaa" you hear yoongi asking him dramatically to what is it? Why did he laugh so much?

"Jajajaja hyung i can't believe you would get so jealous over such a little thing, but for your mental peace let me tell you that wasn't me calling your her, it was my love! her bestfriend calling her, i hope you aren't jealous of my lovely girlfriend ", he replied a now flustered yoongi, only if hobi could see yoongi's face, he had gone crazy laughing looking at how cuteee he looked right now.

"Aishhh yaaahh you guys are too much! I'm not jealous okay! I just asked!" yoongi replied "Only if you say so hyung!" Hobii said still laughing a little, while you just enjoyed listening to their conversation and hobi continued, "so hyung we were calling you guys to ask if can I bring my girl along with me to lunch.. actually i was quite hesitant as i couldn't confirm with any of you, actually i couldn't ask you guys since it's almost first time I'm officially bringing her along with me to meet everyone. But at the same time it's your 1 year anniversary too, and we all will officially meet y/n properly for the first time, because all this time it has only been on voice calls and video calls or short hi! hello! in person. so, jagi and i both were kind of hesitant, so i.."

"I don't get it hobaah why are we acting as if we aren't friends and family, since what more than 13 years now! Ofcourse you can bring her, you should know you both are friends to us, i didn't expect you going so formal over this, like c'mon so because now we have partners so, are we no more soulmates hobahhh?".

Before anyone could say anything you end up laughing at how yoongi could he dramatic AF! And you say "aishh so dramatic you guys! Cut this out hobii please bring hobisrii with you, I'll be more than happy"

"y/niee thank you so much because i wasn't liking to leave her alone and she would keep budging me to not let me ask any of you, since the day you invited members!"

"hobi my friend is definitely someone who cares about everyone's feeling a little too much over her happiness so don't mind her, she's too sweet! we will get going now or else we will get late for sure, you guys too join us soon" you look at yoongi who is looking at you lovingly and he nods at you agreeing with you and you continue "we will see you guys soon! See you hobii, ask hobisrii to give me a call if she has anything in her mind, I'll keep my phone in my reach"

"thank you y/nssi, you two drive safely, bye hyung bye both of you!".

With this the call ends and you look up to yoongi, you are still in his lap, you suddenly feel embarrassed and try to get up and yoongi immediately tightens his grip around you and you catch his collar to balance yourself, "yoonieee you will get tired and get leg cramp yoon let me get u.." "shushhhhh bby you think too much, your man is strong enough to carry his love forever hmnn, besides i love the idea of being close to you all the time" with that he instantly pulls you into a kiss, soft and slow, showing how much he loves you and how much he longs for you to always be close to him. You are taken back my his sudden action but eventually melt into his touch and slowly respond to his kiss, you could feel him smiling throughout kiss, he slowly pulls out attaching your both heads together "y/niee always know no matter even if i had to stay away from you because of my schedules my heart was truly longing for you!...to have one day with my girl! with my love! with you! So no sooner I'm in any plan to let go any chance of being close with you". All you do is nod a little while looking down shyly hiding you flushed cheeks.

After few mins he finally pulls off, "so y/nieeee i swear we can still go home and cancel this plan you know"

"aishhh yoons noo c'mon get up, we are going now, imagine how much they all will tease you if we will reach late there, or do you actually want them to tease you, maybe you lowkey enjoy tha.." before you could even complete your sentence he gets up holding your hands and before you know you are already getting out of his studio, "only if I had got reminded of how much they would tease me i swear y/n i would have hurried up" he says as you both walk out of hybe's building walking towards the parking, all you do is giggle at yoongi's reaction to the idea of his members teasing him. Not that you don't know that everyone in bangtan is more then family and they love teasing each other at every chance they could grab and that his maknae's are gonna enjoy annoying him by teasing him a little too much.

You both get in his car and he starts driving towards the restaurant you both are supposed to meet the members, although you're slightly terrified and don't know how the members would react to you or how would your bestfriend react to you, but only thing you know right now is that you can't anyone doubt you for your own safety reasons also you definitely don't want to hurt any of them by any means, what if they are not the one's from your world but that's not fair to act biased against them. Also you would never be able to bear watching them getting hurt! You should maybe ask your heart to get it's act together and to not go crazy around yoongi or most importantly hold itself while you meet the bangtan.

Before you know you are already infront a huge glass building. And you immediately recognize it as it looked similar to 'josun palace', to what you thought you had been going to have lunch at a restaurant but boy you were wrong! this is fuking expensive and fancy! you immediately look at yoongi expecting him to say something, but he simply smiles and gets out of car and walks to your side and stretches his hands towards you to come out.

"So bby did you liked the place! I hope it's your style"

"Yoonieee i love it but trust me i don't have a expensive taste nor i love spending too much! I love sweet and cozy restaurants, For me only your love and your feelings matters, but I'm flattered yoongs!"

"I knew you had say so but it's good to sometimes go over the top and pamper ourselves besides.. you, my queen deserve all the royalty!". He says as he laces his hands around your waist and you both walk in, where the hotel staff welcomes you both and guides you towards the booked place in the grand hotel. You smile thinking how this all is too good to be true! How this is all you had imagined all day and everyday to happen, even if its all just for one day! Looks like god is kind of fulfilling your wish, maybe you shouldn't act awkward or overthink because no matter what you can't escape from what you've got yourself into. All you need to do is act what you had always imagined you would do in any of situations you would face and nothing will go wrong! Atleast that is what woozi had told you to do.

A gentle squeeze from yoongi brings you back to reality, "what are you thinking y/nieee, I'm sure boys are gonna love you! You have been in touch with them via video calls and calls so they know you, relax hmn!" You nod to him while giving him a reassuring smile, thinking how lovable yoongi could be. As you enter the booked area you suddenly feel a warm hug and yoongi gently lets you slide, and you hear others screaming "yahhh aishh jjungkookah, you brat! don't scare her away like that!"

"Y/nieeee I was so excited to meet you! Hehe i didn't mean to scare you" that's when he pulls you out from hug and you realize it was jungkook! omggg is this for real you think! You've always took ggukie as your bestfriend and you always got those bestfriend broo vibes from him and how you had always find relatable to you.

"Aniya don't worry ggukie this is how i had thought you had greet me" you said smiling widely hoping he feels the same vibe, "yahhhh jinjja! you both! how could forget to include me in your hug! You both betrayers'' you see taehyung approaching you both with his tata mic face and you chuckle, and then three of you share a short yet a sweet hug! Although you felt it awkward in the beginning but as expected they all are loving angels, who always made you feel loved.. the way you are, small tears slide away your cheeks "y/nieee why are you crying" yoongi and rest of members immediately coming towards you to check on you, "you immediately wipe the tears away and smile towards them, "guys calm down! I'm alright and fine, I'm just overwhelmed with the amount of loved and welcomed I felt!".

"Yahh aishh you two i had told you not to be over dramatic! And look at this hyung the speed he ran towards y/nieeee was faster then his rap!"

"Yahhh jiminaahh I'm offended"

"Look at this unromantic guy, if it was me i had took it as a compliment! Especially if my gf was as pretty as cute and as sensible as y/nieee!" Jimin replied all sassy to yoongi, as he came towards you giving a sweet side hug and tissue to wipe off your tears. "Mimi you love yoongs so much don't you! That's why you always keep bickering with him" you said while controlling you laugh.

"that's my girl" yoongi immediately screamed while mouthing a little 'i love you', but you being you decided to get playful, "thank you yoongs! but i know that just like jiminiee loves you! You too love him back because ain't jimin your favorite bickering partner" you reply him, gaining laugh from Jin who had just entered the place, and he pats your back and his gives you his cutest signature wink at which you totally melt and your heart goes all awww!

"This one here, she truly is my friend!" Jin said while pointing towards you. "You guys just made fool of yourself! Especially you yoongichii" he says while still laughing with you.

You see yoongi freezed in his place and namjoon giving you a what the heck look and you automatically feel guilty and rush towards him "yoongi..i..i.. i.. trust me i didn't mean to hurt you yoon I was just being playfu.." before you complete your sentence joon immediately starts laughing uncontrollably,

"yahhh namjoonahhh i trusted you"

"I'm sorry hyung but look at you making that sulky face, besides poor y/n she totally feel for your act! I tell you y/n never underestimate this hyung! he can be extremly playful and dramatic" he said.

Only then you understood yoongi was just acting, "I'm sorry bby i didn't thought you had get serious, don't worry love, you know i love it so much when you mix in with all of them and be playful all laughing and giggling."

"It's okay yoons not like you did mean to make it all serious, and i love you too! You say.

"Omg did you notice that?"

"obviously i did yoongs lol, even in a room full of people, my eyes are always stuck on you yoongles".

"AWWW look at our sweet sugary lovebirds" all of the members say together.

"Okay! Okay! guys lets get settled first" yoongi says while changing the topic, "wait ! wait !wait ! guys'' joon says as he counts all of them, "where is he? I mean where is he?"

"Namjoonahh still the same question, refresh and rephrase your question and try once again, okayyy so gooo now" jin says laughing, "jinniee" you say as you playful hit him while laughing a little yourself. "Yahh jinn hyung don't spoil my dongsaeng, look at namjooniee hyung he is serious!" Jungkook said.

"Yes and I'm seriously allergic to serious people" and once again you both laugh as members try to suppress their laugh.

"Hyung I mean where is Hobahh? He was supposed to reach earlier than us, atleast that is what he claimed to me yesterday!" Joon said only to be greeted with hobii's laugh, "my brooo I'm sorry for my fault, but we got late!" He said.

"WE? WHO WE?" everyone in the room leaving you and yoongi screamed, as you already knew he was bringing your bestfriend.. his girl along with him.

"Bababababaaaabaa.. Tadaaaaa..." hobiii said and moved away from the spot he was standing. And as soon as he moved everyone including you saw your bestfriend, who looked looked absolutely gorgeous and a little bit shy and awkward meeting everyone on short notice.

Soon you made a move and went forward greeting her.

"OMO OMO OMONAA! OMFL bae you look drop dead gorgeous!" "Omgggg Stoppppp hun! look at you looking all pretty and stunning" she replied smiling and blushing to your compliment. Meanwhile hobi went towards yoongi and gave him quick hug "yooo yoongi hyung! You look so handsome! Happy anniversary my brooo" "thank you hobahh! You look cool too" yoongi said, you were watching them in awe of how even here hobi had a certain effect on yoongi.

"Jweehope don't you think we need some introduction here!" Jin asked hobi to introduce everyone with harshitha.

"Oh ye ye hyung ofcourse" Hobi replied walking towards you both and yoongi pulling you gently towards him, his hand laced on your waist as if you were his handbag and you were supposed to be next to him. You blushed slightly.

"Everyone this is my girl! My love! Harshitha!" And jagi these are my brothers, my family, my friends." Hobi said as he lovingly introduced her while holding her hand and never leaving her not even for a second.

"So you guys have always heard about her from me and sometimes even meet her via video calls, whenever you all came in between of our video calls" hobi said chuckling slightly.

Everyone greeted her & she happily greeted them back. And soon after all of you settled down the table, laughing and smiling and chattering on something or other.

A cake was specially brought in to celebrate the 1 one year of love, and you and yoongi feed cake to eachother, while everyone cheered and congratulated you both and everyone clicked some happy photos.

And in middle of all yoongi took your hand in his palm and looked into your eyes and softly murmured "I love you y/n and i promise to cherish you always"

"I love you too yoongi, i promise to love you no matter what" you said replying him, you could feel your heart beating loud and you were pretty sure that yoongi could hear it. Deep down you were cursing your heart for not listening to your pleadings and going crazy whenever yoongi was near you. It was like you heart won't listen to you anymore.

Soon food arrived and everyone again settled down on their seats as food was getting served, everyone noticed how you were served separately and those dishes looked different, before you yourself could understand any of that, jungkook who was sitting next to you, couldn't control his curiosity and asked, "yahhh y/niee is it really important to diet today as well c'mon" jungkook said while whining cutely, you could exactly see why everyone calls him baby star candy.

"Anieyo jjungkookah she isn't dieting silly, she's is vegetarian! That's why I've ordered dishes separately for her and according to her taste" yoongi corrected the younger one even before you could say anything. You smiled widely at yoongi who was sitting next to you on your right as you absolutely loved how he took care of you even without your knowledge. No matter how hard you tried you kept falling for this man.

"See and you claim her as you dongsaeng but I knew it before had, that's why I should've get to sit with her and not you" taehyung teased jungkook, "then why didn't you answered before hyung huhhh, don't act cool hyung" and they kept bickering while everyone else laughed, watching their maknae still being the same and not changing a bit.

Meanwhile you wonder how this all you could've asked for and right now you are living it all in the moment, everything looks perfect and everything feels right, next thing you know you fear what's going to come next because this is not permanent after all!

summary: four bodies, one serial killing spree and a very curious MO you certainly have your work cut out for you. between this case and begging your boyfriend to get a proper night's sleep you find certain aspects of the case which my destroy every bit of comfort in your life

warnings: knife, blood and a little bit of gore

you sighed as you went through the case reports again. the MO was all over the place, bits and pieces stolen from old cold cases, some of them not even revealed to the public. the only similarity between the 4 corpses - a single long cut over the heart quite possibly from a large kitchen knife and stitched back up as though the perpetrator had been curious about the inner workings of the muscle. the messiness of the various cuts and bruises littering the body contrasted vividly against the clean wound; single, calculated incision. you wanted to throw up but forced yourself to look at it for any clues. you were broken from your intense staring by your phone's incessant ringing. you smiled at the contact name and picked up, a sleepy voice awaiting you on the other side. "when are you gonna be done? it's late and you've been working the whole day." your eyes drooped close almost on instinct. "I'm leaving now. you sound tired so don't wait up for me." saying your goodbyes to the detectives on night shifts, you hailed a cab, wanting nothing more than to be wrapped in your boyfriend's arms.

you opened the door to your apartment to find it dark, the only light coming from the television. "Jihoon I told you not to wait up." he smiled at your arrival, getting up and grabbing your hands, guiding you to the bedroom. " I know but I wanted to fall asleep with you by my side."

you woke up to bright blue skies and birds chirping, noises emitting from the kitchen. you got up to the glorious sight of Jihoon in the kitchen cooking up something delicious by the smell of it. " get showered ill be done by then."

" you should really get your sleep talking under control." he smiled as you choked on your food. "did I do it again?

" he nodded softly, attention back on his plate. " something about old cold cases. you must've been stressed with your new one. It's been happening a lot lately." you gave him an apologetic smile before gulping at the water and kissing him and leaving.

you spent almost the whole day trying to crack down on the case before a call came in from the EMTs " we have a woman. must be in her early 20s. she was stabbed in the stomach and I think she might've been a victim in your serial killer case. there's a chance she might survive but I can't say anything." you shot up from your seat, noting the address and was shocked to find the attack occurred a mere 5 minutes away from a hospital, the hospital Jihoon happened to work. you rushed to the place and found the surgery still going on. half an hour later Jihoon walked out, shoulders slumped and shook his head. you fell onto the chairs n disappointment thinking of how the killer might have now another victim on his/her list. Jihoon rushed over to you. "I'm sorry, there was too much blood loss and the knife had pierced through vital organs. I'm sorry that she died because I couldn't save her and also for letting your one breakthrough in your case slip through my fingers." you realised that he had started sobbing and grabbed him, holding him close and assuring that it wasn't his fault.

your higher-ups and even your own team had advised you to stop obsessing over a case that had no clues whatsoever and move onto the many other cases piling up on your desk and you did so reluctantly and as a consequence, you found yourself seated at your dining table getting an earful from Jihoon as he stitched up a cut from a knife. you smiled at his pout and reached over, ruffling his head but quickly retracted and groaned as he purposely dressed up the wound a little more aggressively.

you sat at your desk the next morning and browsed through some case files and stretched, wincing as the stitches pulled at your skin. you shrugged off your jacket to inspect the wound when a sense of familiarity washed over you. you grabbed the serial killer case file and flipped through to the victims' autopsy photos; the familiarity bleeding into dread. the stitches on their chest were exactly the same down to the knot at the end. as you flipped over to their last known sites, small details that previously did not come to notice came into the light. the one person staring right at the camera in each picture, face covered beyond recognition with a cap and a mask. the one photo with his sleeve puller up and if you looked really closely you could just about make out the watch you bought him for his last birthday or the one where he was sitting on a bench, feet propped up showing the deep red shade of the couple shoes you had bought together, the ones that were on your feet currently. you slammed the case file shut, counting slowly to 10 to even out your breath and picked up the phone, typing in the number you had burned into memory. 3 rings later he picked up, small huffs on the other side as if he had just run. "where are you?" you sounded..happy and it shocked you. "at the hospital why?" your ears picked up the faint groaning of old metal and the clicks of metal locks swinging against each other. "just wanted to let you know id be late so you should sleep early." it took all your willpower to swallow the sob erupting in your throat. "I don't think I will but sure." he chuckled. you stood up wordlessly, slipping into a car and turning on the ignition, determined to stop him.

the moonlight was beautiful almost mocking you as you stood on the old rusty metal bridge where you both were sure to put a lock for each anniversary, 5 locks huddling close together, gun clutched tightly in your outstretched hands. the love of your life kneeled over the almost lifeless but definitely unconscious body of a woman looking at you, almost calculating your next move. he looked at you then the woman before digging the point of his knife into the neck of the woman and slashing sideways, blood seeping from the fresh wound. you dropped the gun and rushed forward pressing your hands against her neck to stop the flow of blood as he dropped the knife and stepped back leisurely. "oh sweetheart you shouldn't have come." he smiled almost innocently had it not been for the drops of blood on his face. "your sleep talk sure does annoy me but sometimes it's useful especially when I want to be creative with my hobby." he gestured at the woman. you let out a choked sob. "why?" you hated the way your voice broke. he dared to laugh. "why? why did I kill them? because I love the feeling I get. the rush when they beg for their lives as I plunge my knife into their chest. the fascination I get from =watching their heart desperately pump the last few drops of blood before I get bored and stitch it back up. before you ask I could've easily saved that girl you brought but I didn't and chose to sit back and watch as she struggled to take her last breaths." you tore your eyes away from him and focussed on the flowing water below, quickly moving and freezing on such a cold night. "you'll pay for what you've done, for the people you've killed." he scoffed "darling you're gonna have to catch me alive for that." saying so he leaned over the edge of the bridge and dropped into the waters below. that was where the paramedics and police officers you had called earlier found you, clutching the neck of the long-dead victim staring into the water.

~6 months later~

you walked into your apartment, finding it exceptionally cold. you thought back to the happy times you had shared in the place. you had gone to the funeral but without a body being found it felt more like a useless ceremony. you promised yourself you wouldn't let the particular case hinder your career but sometimes you found yourself falling onto your desk, biting onto the skin on the back of your hand to muffle the sobs as you had another breakdown.

as you thought about the past few months, you closed the window furrowing your eyebrows as you had no memory of opening it especially since it was the colder part of the year.

you looked into the mirror for a fleeting second and walked a few steps away before stopping and peering into the mirror again, your blood-chilling as you saw an all too familiar figure standing quite some distance behind you. "well, hello darling."
