I just think there’s something incredibly special about being a mage Hawke romancing Anders. All of the other companions find the mage plight annoying at the best of times and WRONG in the worst of times. Hearing their banter HURTS me sometime because hey… you’re saying all mages deserve to have Meredith imprison them because they’re all weak?? IM one of those mages you’re talking about! The only one consistently fighting, consistently seeing mages as good and PEOPLE is Anders.

Rewatching Laudna’s resurrection arc and when they were in that dark Whitestone dreamscape place, Imogen looked like she really wanted to try changing Laudna’s past if she could.

She would make sure the Sun Tree never happened to Laudna despite knowing the impact it would have on herself.

If Laudna never died at Whitestone, she would’ve never found her way to Gelvaan 30 years later and Imogen would’ve never used her powers to defend Laudna, thus never gaining confidence in her own powers.

Imogen would’ve resigned herself to a life where she’s alone with no Laudna, no Bells Hells. Where she’s still terrified of her own powers, her father keeps his distance from her and the townspeople treats her like shit.

She would willingly give it all up if it meant Laudna got to grow up and live a normal life…

She Jiu was literally imagining holding a little funeral for him, because in his mind, Yue Qingyuan is useless without him. The fact that Yue Qingyuan not only survived on his own but ended up living the dream that Shen Jiu wanted (again, in his mind since we know that yqy was not living “the dream”)? That was what had Shen Jiu pissed.
