Big Brothers

author’s notes: :D am i doing requests still? …yes?! it may not seem like it but I look over them all… just lacking in the motivation department rn, esp with this semester, but booyakasha we ball xD thanks for requesting <3 author's note 2.0: I wrote Raph's part in JANUARY and i finally finally finally had the will power to finish Mikey's tonight, the semester is over yayyyyyyy!! Hopefully my motivation will rejuvenate and I'll be writing way more consistently... hopefully lollll hope you enjoy~~

Raph

Where do I begin? He’s always the type to protect those around him. It doesn’t matter whether you’re just a regular citizen or someone he knows and loves, this turtle will protect all! He’s got a big heart.

Much like April you stumbled into the boys life at an early age. Yet unlike her, you were younger than the entire group. As a tot, Raph made sure you were never left behind, hiking you up on his shoulders along with Mikey.

Both of you giggling about the height and saying “look look I’m flyingggg!!” making superhero poses, just the works. Standard oldest brother material. He was still a kid too so there were some accidents, of course you fell off once or twice.

But he was quick to distract you from any boo-boo’s, swooping you back into his arms and snuggling his head close profusely apologizing for getting a little too rowdy. “Don’t cry!! Look Raph’s gotcha! All safe and sound!”

“Does it hurt bad? Let’s go get patched up by Lee hmmm? Raph bet’s he has the prettiest bandaids for you!”

If the group is playing a competitive game, like tag or hide & seek, Raph’s making sure you’re having a fun time. Not feeling left out or being picked on too much. In tag he may run a little slower so you are able to catch him, he would happily be ‘it’ a thousand times if it meant you beamed that mischievous smile. “Tag Raphie!!! Hehehe”

In hide & seek he’ll hide with you or better yet find you the best spots to hide. “Okay Raph’s going hide now too, goodluck and don’t make any noise!!”

As the group grows from tots to teens and the world isn’t as sparkly, and dangers lurk every corner Raph becomes more concerned with your safety. Though there’s not much he can do while your at school, any time you hang out with the bros other than the lab he’s always got a watchful eye.

“Ohhhhh guys look at this!!” Window shopping being one of your favorite past times as they walk the streets of NYC. Raph can’t help but call out for you to “Wait!” or “Watch out!” Something about those sidewalks cracks that always trip you up. And don’t even get Raph started on how many times you’ve bounded ahead of the group only to get lost.

“C’mere you!” Raph’s pulling you close and giving you a noogie. Definitely not caring as you screech about your hair. “What’d I tell ya about running off??” He continues messing with you until you either slip out of his grip or call out mercy. “You had me worried!” He breathed out with a stern look. “Awww Raphie I’m not little anymore!” You teased, but to him you’d always be his little sister. Just like Mikey would never escape being the little brother.

Leo

Oh my lord the trouble you two get into. Pranks? Yeah. Lots of them. The two of you are menaces together, and unlike Leo, you get off the hook with batting your sweet innocent eyelashes. “Whaaaaa Leo told me to!!” And he’d scoff, yelling out traitor as you stuck your tongue when Raph’s back was turned.

Despite always slipping away from punishment, Leo didn’t mind you throwing him under the bus. In fact he was quite impressed with your tactics. One of these days he’d catch you on video being a brat behind Raph’s back! So count your days because they were numbered.

While Leo is down for throwing caution and safety in the wind, if things get serious.. let’s say someone threatening you? Whoever’s spouting such nonsense better run for the hills. He doesn’t deal kindly with those who hurt his family. Especially his little prankster of a sister. “Run that by me again? You said what about my sister??” Fun, silly, charismatic Leo is gone! He’d have a glint in his eyes that scream ‘you’ll pay for that.’

What else?! Though he claims he’s nothing like Raph in regards to being wrapped around your pinky finger, he totally is. “Hey Lee can you portal me to school?? I don’t feel like walking!” He’d complain saying how you’re using his rad powers for such a lazy reason (even though he’s guilty of such a thing) but after he gives you an earful of complaints he’s opening up a portal.

Don’t think he won’t waltz in right after you. Much like those older siblings who love to embarrass their little siblings. Calling after you to “Have a greaaaaaaat day!! Big brother wuvs youuuuuuu!!” And it’s similar if he’s picking you up from school. He’ll portal in with a speaker and blare music, mostly Nicki Minaj.

Donnie

Those little puppy dog eyes you can pull off with Raph have no influence when it comes to Donnie, he has footage of your two-faced nature, having big crocodile tears at one moment and an evil grin at the next, unlike Leo who has never been able to successfully capture you in the act, Donnie has and he lords it over you as blackmail for most things, like a big brother usually does

He only brings it out when absolutely necessary, mainly whenever the two of you are in a back and forth banter that has gone too far, "Oh yeah? I seem to recall a certain purple turtle reading some very interesting fanfiction with Atomic Lass last night!" You puff up satisfied when Donnie gasps at such a true accusation, the utter betrayal! "C'mon guys don't start fighting" Raph will speak up as Donnie whips out his phone going for his passcoded camera roll.

"Oh Raphala I have something to show you!" Donnie will sing as he turns the phone over to reveal the beginning of a video of you and its one that has you immediately screeching. Jumping up from your spot to run and try and tackle Donnie to the floor, but he expects this as his battleshell takes off into the air, putting himself and his phone out of reach. "Turn it off!!! Stop it Dee!!! I never said what exactly you were reading!!" You plead as he swoops and dodges the pillows and really anything you can get your hands on to throw.

So yes, he has the dirt that you would hate Leo to get his hands on so Donnie and you have a bit of an understanding of one another. Other than that though you can find solace in his lab anytime. He doesn't mind your entry because unlike his brothers you don't start touching or breaking things. You treat his inventions carefully and he has fun explaining to you their potentials.

As tots Donnie was definitely quizzing and spitting out random facts to your malleable brain, a lot of it ended up sticking so you understood him to some degree on an academic level, but most of all he had prepared you for school to which you were forever grateful

Now you may not say so in words but with each passing grade you would go down to the lair and find Donnie specifically to show off your assignments, beaming proudly as he would smile and singing his praises about how well he had taught you. He realized that maybe he had taught you too well since you were a master manipulator when it came to tear ducts but he couldn't help but smile at that, proud to have another evil genius in their midst

Mikey

He knew what it was like to be treated like a baby despite being only a few years younger, so it came as no surprise that he would agree with you whenever you wanted to do something adventurous, something on your own, "Guys, she's old enough to go out to the movies with her friends!" Even if he sort of knew your crush would be going as well, Mikey was not going to be the brother to hold you back from falling in love!

Now heaven forbid that little heart of yours gets stomped on. The person who did so will obviously be on some sort of shit-list by all the turtles, but I think Mikey would be the one who has to be watched out for the most, he destroys people who hurts what he loves, that pizza place episode with the rock band is a prime example! He'll turn savage, lunging for violence, striking to enact karma on those who deserve it the most

Of course he will be the best brother to go to if you want to have some deep emotional talks, Dr. Feelings to the rescue, and though it hurts him to know you've been stabbed in the heart, he will be there through the whole break-up process! Cry session with tubs of ice cream or whatever sweets you desire, Mikey's a great cook so baking isn't that hard for him. He will listen to all the rants and raging that you need to get off your chest, adding in quips when necessary. Then when its time to detox fully, delete pictures, unfollow on all social medias, block their number, get rid of the gifts and physical reminders, he's there with a box, repeating how strong you are and that you don't need them nor these things!

Unlike Leo, if you and Mikey wanted something, a pair of puppy-dog eyes was better than one, even Donnie could not hold out for long if the begging was done by both of you at once, "Donnie c'mon pleaseeee set up the switch! We wanna play Mario Party!" "I thought we were gonna be playing Minecraft-" "You guys its easy you don't need me to set it up." "PLEASEEEEE"

And no doubt Mikey is whipping up your favorites in the kitchen. He loves to hear your heartfelt "thank yous!!!" and "Angieeee it's so tasty! 10 out of 10!!" You know exactly how to curry his favor when you go topside and grab him new ingredients to use. That and shooting compliment after compliment his way. Sometimes he will trust you to stir or cut up veggies when he has too many things going on at once in the kitchen. The vibes are immaculate when you get the aux cord to the speaker in the kitchen, the both of you singing out all kinds of music and going into little dance breaks when a song is just too good to not groove to!

Okay yk what idc I got alot of thoughts of Puerto rican! Reader with the boys, I am not sorry, I need to get this out of my system. so I'm giving her the codename of Teddy :) sorry if that ruins the immersion!

General hcs/thoughts I have with the boys from mw2:

Ghost could destroy an entire pernil by himself. He actively looks forward to it every single Thanksgiving despite him literally not being American and thus doesn't celebrate it. "L.T, don't tell me you're going over to her house just for some pork." "Why yes Johnny, I am." He is not sharing with a single soul, he will break someone's fingers. (Teddy makes him his own at this point so the others can have a try)

Soap fucking chugs Coquito like it's nothing, bc technically it isn't compared to the stuff he has back home. At first he was apprehensive but now he usually goes home with a bottle. He will share but if he sees someone wasting it he will be pissed. It is hard as fuck to come by in Scotland if not the base.

Price very much enjoys the cleaning playist Teddy has, she told him how growing up that that was how her mom told her it was time to get her ass up and do chores. He finds himself playing it early in the morning while he does documents to wake himself up.

Soap fucking pushes himself in and answers for her, a smug little smile from all the little Spanish he picked up. Ghost just rolls his eyes and tries to not groan. Soap being a showoff.

The solidarity between the Vaqueros and Teddy 🤝 different countries but there's alot to have in common.

Teddy cursing in Spanish at the top of her lungs and Alejandra and Rudy snorting. "You kiss your grandmother with that mouth?"

The boys have in fact danced with her when she's feeling homesick, each one. Soap and Gaz don't mind doing it in public where as Ghost and Price rather do it in their rooms/her room. Ghost and Price will say its good exercise but we all know the truth.

When fresh food is available, they'll ask her to make the food she eats off duty. It's different combinations of rice and beans, along with meat always.

Everyone fucking devours tostones btw. Literally they have to buy so many plantains to make sure everyone has their fill or there will in fact be a fight.

SHE MAKES THEM HELP MAKE PASTELES!! It's a whole assembly line. Christmas is a war zone in of itself trying to make the shits.

Ghost drinks Cafe bustelo straight out the machine. No one else can stand the stuff bc it's too strong.

When sofrito has to be made, everyone makes Soap cut the onions lmfao, the worst part of the entire process.

Everyone starts to saying spanglish around base, Gaz switching from English to accented Spanish is a interesting sight 😭 Teddy mocks him as if she isn't to blame.

THE WAY GHOST SAYS NUEVO IN RESPONSE TO LEAVING ALEJANDRO AND HE GETS FLAMED FOR IT BC THATS NOT HOW YOU SAY OF COURSE.

"Really? Nuevo? Do you know what that means?" "Oh for fucks sakes."

All of the ADA members smiled looking up the tall man, their neck is starting to hurt.

Let me give you a short recap.

Ranpo gathered all of them inside the office saying he has something to show them. And that 'something' was someone and that someone is (Male name) Ranpo's boyfriend. They all stood in awe about the mans height. Like dude, he is 7 feet tall. Is he not a basketball player or something?

"How tall are you (Male Name) -san? " Atsushi asked "He is probably 7 foot, correct? " Kunikida said scribbling on his book, possibly about (Male name). "Yep kunikida-kun is right. Im 7 feet tall! " He smiled looking down at the gremlins.

"7 feet and supper strong we always get along~" Dazai sang 'that' song and then kunikida smacked him "Shut it bastard! We're going to get copyright! " As the two argued everyone took turns on questioning the TALL man.

After a few hours of chatting and hanging out they ordered Bear Express with (Male name) paying because he wants to be a gentleman, and oh yes he is.

"Wow! There's so many food! And theres Tea Chuzake too! Thank you so much (Male name)-san! " Jinko grabbed the tea Chuzake gobbling them down. "You have our gratitude. " The dirty blonde hair man nodded already setting his eyes on the seared tataki bonito. "Your welcome! Now, lets dig in! "

ITADAKIMASU!

"Oh man.. Im stuffed" Said the tiger male.

"Yeah me too... I think im not gonna eat for two days.. " Said the suicidal male.

"I think my stomach is about to explode... " Said the glasses male.

"I didn't even notice that its already night" Yosano look outside to see the bright moon and stars. Kenji joined her; volunteering that they should go star grazing. All of them agreed and head to the rooftop.

Yosano and kenji raced up to the stairs with kunikida and fukuzawa following them.Tanizaki and naomi waited for dazai and Atsushi to follow them but they went up ahead anyway. Atsushi was about to go in the elevator but dazai pulled his arm whispering something to him which made him blush. Atsushi looked at (Male name) and ranpo who were waiting for him to come inside but atsushi made a gesture of them going alone together the two nodded and hit the button that'll lead them up the rooftop. Dazai sent a smirk at ranpo waving them bye before the elevator closed.

CLACK!

"What the—" "Did the elevator just stopped?"

(Male name) hitted the button multiple times but the elevator didn't seem to budge. "Andddd it looks were going to be stuck here... Do you have your phone with you, sweets? " Ranpo shook his head no earning a sigh from the tall male.

"Well, lets hope that they'll notice us missing for some time and get us out of here. "Poor (Male name) had to crouch down because of his height, he was too tall for his own sake.

"This is going to be a boring wait... " He mumbled .

"So you're saying that im boring? " Ranpo joked sitting himself on the man's lap "Of course not" He chuckled pecking the detective.

A moment of silence.....

"Well this is getting boring. Lets do something while we wait" Ranpo looked at the his boyfriend "Sweets, we can move around here. "I am so sorry...dazai-san made me do it..."

Panning the camera about awhile ago. We see dazai messing with the elevator with a devilish smile and atsushi looking away from the CCTV footage from the elevator.

Y/N L/N and Spencer reid have been dating for 9 months, 2 days, and 3 hours (and counting according to spencer), but he still had a tendency to get adorably flustered when Y/N would flirt with him, and especially if he called him smart cookie. Which y/n didnt quiet understand since he’d been calling his boyfriend smart cookie since practically day one of their relationship. But y/n found it adorably hilarious so it was okay.

one instance of this adorable awkwardness, was the day y/n decided to ask spencer for help with a new tattoo he wanted, something special for the two of them. Spencer had highly advised against it stating

“31% of men and 24% of women regret getting tattoos of someones name. And if even I plan on being with you for long time that may not happen angel.”

“ugh, your too sweet for me darling. But the world doesn’t deserve a hottie like you anyways” y/n replied with a wink as spencer blushed profusely

“and by the way, you cant change my mind on this spencer, im getting that tattoo. And you’ve seen how stubborn i can be, remember The Book Incident? ya thats what i thought” y/n smirked as spencer grimaced remembering the fateful incident earlier that year.

“okay my love, i wont object to you getting the tattoo, but it has to be something good, and i wanna help with it.” spencer finally relented.

this caught y/n of guard, as he had just been planning a heart with with their initials in the center. nothing special, but when y/n told spencer of this plan, he was incredulous.

“do you not know me y/n/n, thats to simple, and not romantic enough! and its something morgan would get.”

after Y/n was done laughing at the morgan comment and had regained his composure they continued their arguing over what the tattoo should be.

“its gonna be on my body!”

“the tattoo is about you and me!”

but after much bickering they came to a consensus that a simple latin phrase would be nice. Simple, yet elegant and romantic. Some for y/n, some for Spencer. now the hard part was deciding which latin phrase from spencers extensive encyclopedia of knowledge in his head.

After much discussion they decided on the phrase “Amor animi arbitrio sumitur, non ponitur” spencer had translated for y/n when he asked what it meant but he already liked the sound of it without the meaning. But when spencer told him he liked it even more, he stated “we choose to love, we do not choose to cease loving.” And you were in love.

“thats it- thats the one!” y/n exclaimed with excitement. “thanks for the help smart cookie” you added with a smile and a wink. As always spencer flushed bright red when his boyfriend called him the pet name. As y/n studied his boyfriend in his flustered state, he couldnt help but notice how cute he was. His reddened cheeks and small smile as he looked away. Y/n couldnt help but get that enamored feeling of intense love and adoration that often came with staring candidly at his beautiful, beautiful boyfriend. In his thoughtful state he didnt even realize that spencer had noticed the intense gaze of his lover.

“why are you looking at me like that?” spencer questioned with a shy smile.

“cus your just too cute not too! and you deserve it” y/n responded with a sly smile. spencer once again flushed red at the flirtatious comments.

“what? Oh c'mere hot stuff I wanna give ya a kiss" y/n pulled his boyfriend into his lap and put his hands on either side of the man's face. "ugh! Your so cu-" The rest of the man's sentence was cut off by him kissing his boyfriend. Very aggressively Spencer would add, but he was to busy being kissed. Finally y/n let go of his lips and they both sucked in a large breath. But before Spencer could get word out y/n started peppering his face with kisses, using them to punctuate his words

"You. Are. A. Smart. Cookie."

If it was even possible Spencer's ears grew redder. "Thank you, y/n." Spencer responded with a small smile playing at his lips. "of course love" y/n said as he gave a bigger sweeter smile this time before leaning in for a more loving and passionate kiss. And as they kissed all that fun through y/ns mind, was Spencer.

You and Carlisle have been seeing each other for a little while now, you were inexperienced in everything when it came to a intimate relationship.

Yes, you have had one or two relationships now and then but none that got that far.

You were layed on Carlisle chest just basking in the quietness of the house. All of Carlisle's adopted children were out doing their own things, which doesnt happen often.

"Carlisle" you say breaking the silence. He hums in response.

"I think I am ready." You say looking up to him. He looks at you eye brow raised.

"Are you sure doll?" he asked slightly concerned, yet held a wanting for it as well. He couldn't deny that he thinks about intimate moments with you quite often. He always wants to ravish you, but he always stops himself, never wanted to make you feel uncomfrotable.

You sit up, sliding onto his lap, leading Carlisle to have to stiffle a groan. You were always able to turn him on, without even meaning it. With a slightly confident face nodding you head "Yes I'm sure."

Your gaze switches between his pretty brown eyes and his plush pink lips, the sudden need to taste again was surprising more intense in the situation. Carlisle, who always seems to know anything thats going on your mind, tilts your head up before and closes the distance between you, his lips capturing yours in a soft kiss.

You tasted like grapefruit and white wine. He tasted like blood and lemon. To taste that when it came to you two tasted amazing.

You feel like your head is spinning, your whole body stiffening from above, of course this kiss was different than the others you shared. All of a sudden your mind catches up with you and the thought of inexperience flooding your mind and so you quickly pull away from his soft touch, even though it's the last thing you wanted too do.

Kissing him was always something you loved but this time it also made you nervous

Carlisle seems concerned, looking up at you with his eyebrows slightly curved, questioning if your intents have changed, just by reading your actions. Of course if they had changed he would not contine, but would have to go take a cold shower.

You nod your head telling him he can contuine.

He flips you over gently so he is hovering over you. He tilts you head again for better access before he slowly closes the gap between your lips, kissing you just as gently as before, waiting for you to catch up on his movements.

You rest your on the bed not knowing were to put them while he snakes an arm around your waist to pull you closer, making you melt in his arms.

You soon realize how to move your lips against his to avoid clashing teeth and the kiss grow a bit hungrier. You find yourseld pressing yourself against his frame more prominently, begging for more stimulation.

He breaks the kiss and then he buries his face in the crook of your neck, leading kisses down your burning skin probaly leaving brusies. The new sensation making you body shiver and smalls moans leaving your mouth.

"Look at you, darling. So eager for my touch," he murmurs, before he sinks his teeth into your shoulder, biting you gently, making you whine out his name his fangs in you making the pleasure so much more intense, which only turns him more.

Catching up with AKIHIKO KAJI's changes in Given Bangaihen --- (10th Mix_2)

DISCLAIMER: A forewarning that this blog contains SPOILERS, including but not limited to story plot and some panels of the latest chapter of Given Bangaihen ( Given 10th Mix_2). Proceed with caution!

On a thread on Twix (Twitter+X) Ive yapped about changes in main 4 Given after the span of 10 years. On this blog however I want to concentrate on Akihiko, which, as a synopsis I simply said:

Akihiko continuously allows Haruki to have his way with him. He's very soft, wanting to always please Haruki in any way possible, but not in a way where Haruki is allowed to step on him. The vibe is similar as pre-dating Akiharu, but added the anxiety of post-dating Akiharu.

However, I cant help but feel like I simply grazed over the topic considering Akihiko is a character who goes through constant change, in fact thats his entire thing- from changing to be a man deserving of Haru's love to having a dedicated emergence chapter. Err, My point is that that spiel isn't the only thing thats changed about him. Hence this blog and so I shall continue to yap~

Starting with his direct appearance. Our first impression of Akihiko is that he's someone who looks depressive and ragged who has a tough exterior, cool, and seemingly stone-cold which throughout the series we learn that these ragged looks are physical manifestations of actual depressive episodes stemming from the numerous abuse he receives from a past, yet continuously haunting, ex-relationship

As the story progresses we see him gradually get back into his nature of being a constantly smiling and giddy guy with a child-like demeanor; And, that continues to be the case in this sequel! Having energy to dawn fake circle glasses and a hat to go match it (as a "disguise" / intimidation tactic for the "bugs™")

With regards to personality, his inherent nature of being giddy and child-like never ceases, however, so does the pre-existing anxiety. Albeit not so obvious, Akihiko's past relationship has traumatized him in ways that he or a lot would not expect.

From someone who never really cared about his past partners shenanigans, when it comes to Haruki, he ultimately tries his best to continue to make up for things even after 10 years by wooing him, ergo continuously following through as per Popov-san's words; not that genuine sweet gestures seem to be a problem for him or Haruki.

From someone who had to be coerced into doing things, when it comes to Haruki, he doesnt have a problem with anything and gives in to all of Haruki's qualms; Always aiming to please! Of course, being in a healthy relationship makes it easier to do. Besides, what's there to wear a disguised marriage ring for aesthetics just to keep the bugs™ off Akihiko 😗

Compared to the past as well he has become more protective! In other words, became expressive in showing jealousy and possessiveness, only wanting Haruki for himself; which in itself is a drastic change as finally, he understands what it means to want someone all for himself. Considering high school Akihiko never cared for trivial things, into after-dating-HarukiAkihiko who admits to hating seeing his boyfriend play with an ex, into 7-years-later Akihiko who becomes overly defensive of Haruki's nape, into finally 10-years-later Akihiko who's against Haruki wearing the 'wedding ring for aesthetics' because he "doesnt want Haruki to look like a lonely wife". Its quite the evolution, emergence if you may, which admittedly is very cute

But yes, as I circle back, this stemming from the trauma of being in a relationship with someone who was completely commitment-phobic. The fear of doing just one wrong thing ultimately leading to Haruki leaving (even though Haru wont) is a chance he will not take. But also then again, its not like Akihiko hates it, completely indulging with his lover like this answers the calling of his romantic side! But, something to look forward to with how things will waver when the boat gets rocked in chapters to come; I'll leave that for the future as I digress!

Ig so far thats all I have important to say~! Im looking forward to the next chapters! Im excited to see how these changes in each character would affect interactions! Similarly to how Ritsuka has let go of his SUPER idolization of Akihiko hehe I look forward to seeing other changes~!

“The Sculpture.. [Part 1/?]”

Hello Dear Readers.

I am shocked at the followers I’ve managed to gain in the first few days of my blog being up. I also wish to thank you all for the “reblogs” and likes.

Anyways, I know why your here so I’ll get on with it. This is the story of Percy and I’s first case… the case of ‘The Sculpture’.

The day started off as another, I woke up and did my daily routine of going for a run, taking a shower, eating my breakfast well I watched the birds and such.. then when I was getting ready for my morning lecture I noticed, Percy, looking madly through the papers.

Though that wasn’t too weird. He’d been doing that for days without even saying a word to me- which I didn’t mind Because he’s quite the weird fellow.. anytime I can get not to hear him ill take it. But of course It was very short lived, as Percy Jumped up on the Couch and cheered with delight. I asked what the matter was- well after I asked him to sit back down as I didn’t want him standing on my couch. Once he calmed down he told me that he found ‘a case’ whatever that means. Either way I congratulated him and left for my lecture.

A few Hours had passed after that and I made my way into the apartment I saw it. Percy on the floor in the middle of a whirlwind of papers. The apartment was in shambles.

“PERCY WHAT THE HELL-“

“Shhh.. Im working Eddie.”

“Working??? On what!? This is a bloody mess and- oh- no no no! Why is there a knife in the wall, Percy!!!”

There was a knife holding a paper in the wall

“Hm? Oh that. Thats just some evidence for the case.”

“Case-?”

“Yes. Remember the one I told you about this morning.”

Thats when I remembered the excitement in the morning… I hadn’t paid much attention to this so called ‘case’ he had told me about because I was more focused on getting him off the couch but I suppose it was something important.

“Percy… prey tell.. what do you mean by ‘case.’”

After that Percy had told me that apparently he wanted to become a Consulting Detective like his uncle Sherlock.. not because he wanted to.. because he was.. bored. And apparently he was sick of his uncle being the only one in the world. Though I could tell he was quite excited about this. But if im being honest I don’t quite care what the man does, as long as he pays his half of the rent and leaves me alone I really could care less, but the mess HAD to go.

“Ok.. Percy tell me.. whats with all those papers in my lounge room??”

“Oh yes- its all the information and possibly Intel I have on my case so far.”

“… and what do you have so far?”

“Not much… theres a killer and after he kills a victim he leaves a perfect Sculpture of them left behind. Later the body’s are found miles away from the sights the sculpture’s are found and-“

“-im sorry- the killer is making Sculptures of his victims???”

“Yes Eddie do try to keep up.”

“Its actually Edward-“

“-so thats all I have on the killer so far. Though I do think I know where he’s going to target next. Thats why we need to go to this place.”

Percy held out a pan-flip in front of my face. It was for one of the most fancy restaurants in the area.

“Percy.. we literally live in a one bedroom apartment what makes you think you can afford to go here.”

“My dads practically the British government. I can do as I please. Now get dressed. We’ve a Restaurant to go to.”

“Ok- wait me to???”

Percy Gave no further explanation. He also didn’t tell me why he needed me there, though I thought it was best not to question him.. if it means I get to eat at a fancy restaurant that is.

When we got there I ate and Percy kept a look out for the killer, But after an hour of nothing Percy started getting frustrated.

“Where. Is. He.”

“Look maybe he’s just running a little late… or..”

“Or?”

“Or you were wron-“

“Im never wrong.”

“…sure. Well Im going to the washroom. Have fun not being wrong.”

When I got to the restroom however I was met with a disturbing surprise that had me running back to our table. Where I as calmly as possible Told Percy to follow me..

“PERCY GET UP THERES A HUGE SCULPTURE IN THE WASHROOM!”

After Percy saw it he smiled. Who on earth smiles at a crime scene??? Bloody Percy Holmes, that’s who.

Of course I suggested we call the cops but oh no no no, Percy had other plans. He took a sample of the clay sculpture and a few photos on my mobile while he started to- wait. My mobile?? How..

“Ah right I took your phone when you were eating.”

“…why.”

“So I could take a photo of the Sculpture when you found it without having to explain to someone why I have evidence on my phone.”

“Wait you knew I’d find the sculpture in here- …WAIT WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY I HAVE EVIDENCE ON MY PHONE???”

Percy just shrugged back at me as he got up and started heading to the door.

“I already paid the bill and called the police. They should be here in about 2 minutes so I suggest if you don’t wish to have to explain the photos you get out of here with me.”

Percy may be weird but I know better then to ignore someone when im warned, so I followed close behind as the sound of police sirens began filled the air…

Just in case peeps ask questions a lot lol. Will add more as we go.

•What exactly is this AU about?

Its just a funny little AU where not all monsters were locked underground and some went into hiding instead. Some species of monster in this AU can take on human form with their magic, hence why this is possible. Of course, this doesnt stop kiddos, human or monster, from climbing that darn mountain though.

•When is the next page?

Duotale updates every Friday. Time varies but I try to keep it between 10am and 12pm EST. If either day falls on a holiday, the page will be posted the following day.

•Why is this AU called Duotale?

Because the two main characters are twins, hence the Duo in Duotale. Ok they aren't twins, but they are siblings, born a few months apart. Yes, Strawberry is the Older one.

•Is the player a thing in this AU?

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the AUs in the Citadel. No one is controlling the Duotale cast though. They've had their own mind and actions from the start. Underplayer is in the Citadel though, if you count them as a player.

●Can my AU be featured in your comic?

Why yes. Just refer to the link in the Masterpost labeled "how to get your AU into the comic". Follow the rules, answer the questions, and you'll be in where we can fit you! Do note that we will try to spread everyone out through different MVC visits, so please, don't be upset if your appearance isn't automatic! You will be seen eventually before the story's end! Scene art and asks are a different story though.

•Will Kris make an appearance?

Yes :3. I'll leave it at that. Ralsei will make an appearance in asks or art, Susie may or may not be in the comic itself. Here's the boi. During the comic he's a lil toddler. (Gender explaination is below btw for those that care.)

•Is Kris gonna be Frisk or Luci's counterpart?

No. Neither. They will be their own person.

●Is Clover gonna make an appearance?

Like Kris, the cowboy ghost will be there, but unlike Kris, you won't see him in comic til the end. He will (and has already) pop up on our blog, like Dalv or Star sherrif boi, but in comic, sorry, hes in Asgore's castle and that's so far away right now lmao. But here's how he looks. Yes, he knows the fox stole his hat. He does not know where his gun is, though.

●Will xxx color soul child also be in this AU?

Depends. We already have the Yellow soul decided (obvi). If There's another colored child you wanna see pop up as a canon-to-duotale ghost at the end of the comic you can ask, but so far only Clover and MAYBE Marine(Patience soul) but the lore is off that comic might contradict yellow or ours so that's undecided. Any other kids so far would be only seen in the MVC. We're trying not to pick kids in full existing sets so thats why Clover and maybe Marine are our only choices so far. We are more likely to make up the rest tbh. No more red souls though beyond cameos. Red souls work a special way in our AU and there's not a lot (if any) that can fit that requirement.

•Can other ghosts see Chara/Luci?

Yes. And she can see said other ghosts. Strawberry can only see those that she summons and Blackberry can see ghosts as well. Frisky can sense spirits near him but obviously cannot see them.

●Why do some characters have rings around them?

That just means they're dead. Ghosts. Spirits that didn't move on to heven or hell. The ring color matches the color of their soul and doesn't change. Luci, Blackberry, Dalv, and Kris have special rings though. They change color based on emotions. This color changing mood ring is only available to one species and it starts becoming visible around puberty. Luci is fullblooded, hence why her ring is always visible and changing like a rainbow, though Blackie and Kris aren't fullblooded, so their rings might be a bit faultly ha. If you're every curious what the colors mean, you can refer to the link labeled "Luci's mood ring" on the master post. Or a more simplified list ca be found on her teen ref.

•What exactly are the main cast's species?

Blackie is is a halfbreed kitsune vampire, Luci is a purebreed vampire with demonic powers, Strawberry is a tanuki who practices witch magic, and Frisky is a human. He just has a magical scarf to give him wings like redbull. As for Kris... you'll figure it out. No spoilers, sorry lol.

•How did you come up with the idea of Duotale?

Originally this story was gonna be a comic of our own runs in Undertale, showing how they clash and would effect each other. Kinda like thise PMD comics and Nuzlocke animations people make. But somewhere between writing the script and making the first cover art, we changed our minds and made a whole AU instead.

•Is fanart allowed?

Yes uwu. You can find character info and all current ref sheets in the Masterpost, last section at the bottom :3 If ya tag me, I can reblog it in my main account so peeps can see it, and an account I have specifically for or art made by others so I wont lose it. Main account is @oatmealkitty . That is where all non ask/comic art goes.

•What ships are in this comic/blog?

Oh boy a hard question to answer. Ignoring any cameos, out of our own and JUST our own characters this is the list. I'm probably missing a LOT though as these are off the top of my mind.

•What are the pronouns of each character?

You will find all information on the masterpost, last section. If someone is missing we just didnt finish the refs yet. Apologies. Since I know MK, MTT and Blooky will be asked about due to lack of refs, they are all he/him here but Blooky and MK accept They/Them. Remember that this is an Alternate Universe, as in not sticking to the game's lore to a T. So please dont start a fuss over this. If canon versions of the characters ever speak or are spoken to in the Citadel, they will be referred to by the genders Toby (NOT THE FANDOM) placed on them, so be happy with that smh.

A note to avoid confusion since I KNOW this will cause issues if I don't give a bible explanation: WITHIN the comic, Kris' pronouns will be he/him, hence me calling the younger one he/him. Personally, I can't see a literal 3 year old toddler changing his gender or even caring about that. I know I sure didn't back then lol. I didn't care till damn near the end of highschool tbh. Soo, He starts requesting people use they/them (if possible) in his late teens as thats what I personally experienced. Sorry to anyone who wants out of the womb non binary/trans babies. Oh and when he's spoken to or about in another language, regaurdless of age, it will be male pronouns bc languages. Sorry, can't fix that either. That's just how languages work. So yeah, Tldr: In comic=he/him. In asks=they/them (he/him if non english language).

While I dont ship it, I still think its a cute and wholesome ship like I think iidadeku or tododeku are too and Im supportive of all of them, but I dont look for fanfictions or fanarts of that ships, because Im not interested in shipping. Being a non-shipper doesnt mean, you cant defend a ship or support it though or that you cant like a ship, it just means its not where your main focus is on! Im supportive of izuocha, because ochako gets so much hate from bkdk shippers, simply because they see her as a treat to their ship and because she exists!

given how most of the halls where filled with stairs and winding paths Thranduil was quick to find out the rock was infact no rock, he slightly moved his cloak so he could see what was at the end of the long trail to see the all to familiar hair and clothing of you, the groan was also a slight giveaway.

"Is that comfortable for you, because i highly doubt it is" Thranduil said making you have a rude awakening.

"Aran nin I- forgive me I did not mean to" You said The king cut you off

"If you ever need a break just tell me I can survive without you for a few days where I am just in my halls nothing bad can get in here, your job must really be boring at times like these when i do not leave my halls" Thranduil said

"Oh, please do enlighten me in seeing if falling asleep on my clothes is one of them" Thranduil said

"Well no, Aran Oropher said I must stick near you but in times like these become your shadow, watch you without you knowing, clear away after you, fetch stuff you require, give you reports fill paper work out" You said

"You still work by my fathers rule book even after it has been an age since he passed" Thranduil questioned

"I- yes apart from one thing which was report back to him at the end of the day and tell him what you had done that day" You said

How about u try to change your solo perspective that makes u look at jimin like a victim all the time? Jimin GOT promotions, and a big one, money related. He had 2 mv that took a lot of budget and preparations: the 2 mv needed sets to be created, and SMFPT2 set was HUGE. He promoted at korean music shows, which too took a lot of money to build those giant sets. Yes, he did have a short promotion period, for reasons we dont know but my guess is that Suga needed to do his comeback because of the tour and i hate the person who came up with those dates but ok... We all know Face promotions got some biiiig problems and im still mad about it, we just dont know what really happened, but i'm sure jimin would fight back if he thought he was being mistreated. Face, Like Crazy and Seven r different projects, with different visions and different goals. Jimin wanted to tell his story of when he was going through a hard time, and he wanted to do it in korean, promoting more in Korea, with songs that, in the end, only him and people close to him know the meaning. Yet, he did AMAZING and made history (is still making). It seems to me that the #1 on hot100 was unexpected to the company and even jm, but yet they did provided to us 2 versions of Like Crazy, one of them being an eng. ver, and promoted at Jimmy Fallon... So maybe they still hoped that the song would do well internationally? (pdogg tho... he just KNEW face would be massive and destroy kpop). But Jungkook... i think that, for a long time now, he aims to achieve western recognition, way more than jm, and thats ok. So Seven obviously is a song to the US market, and all of us know that. The song is in english, is very pop, written and produced by an american guy that is responsable to other huge hits. It is made to be stuck in our heads, not to make us think about deep things. It is breaking and will break so many records just like LC, but the difference is that the success is THE GOAL (remember all of that Scooter posts on his ig?). Jimin wanted to tell his truth with Face, Jk wants to be closer to being a big pop star with Seven. So, of course Seven would get a different type of promotion.

And btw, just because the song is doing really good and is aiming to the US market, doesnt mean it is by having deals and paying for playing. Its the Jeon Jungkook, of BTS, we are talking about. Jk seems very happy and jimin seems happy for him. I dont think jimin would support jk if he thought he was doing wrong. He didnt post anything, but he did not post about L&R and Dreamers too. He supported jk with Dreamers by posting about his presentation at Qatar, and now he supported seven by going all the way to NYC to be with him.

-All things considered, Marinette's Hero life is not in as much jeopardy, in fact in season one its arguable that Alya made things harder.

-Ladybug is popular, but info about ladybug outside of Paris is limited, there is no consolidated place for information on whats what. Probably a few pockets on the internet, but no official blogs.

-Marinette's personal life is a bit more rocky. She never told her supposed best friend Lila she's Ladybug. In fact, Lila seems more envious of Ladybug than liking her. She cant tell Lila that SHE like Adrien, because Lila likes adrien.

-Thats when we get into Volpina,

-Adrien finds the book like in Canon, and takes it with him. Meanwhile things are relatively calm. Adrien isnt helping lila since she has been in school since the beginning of the year.

-Marinette finds herself helping the new girl around, Alya Cesaire. She is joining the class, and since Marinette is class rep, it would make sense she had that responsibility. Alya shows herself as quite a nice person and Marinette and her get along really well. Alya complimenting her style.

-Chloé tried to mess with them, but Alya showed she stands her ground just like in canon, with a heroine analogy as well. So thats a plus. They bond pretty quick.

-Of course Lila is calling marinette for something, which Alya notices the strained look on Marinette's face.

-"You okay?"

-"Yea, its just my friend needs something. I should get it to her."

-Alya asks if this is a common trend, but Marinette denies it... it is. It was after a bit that Marinette realizes that she is acting more like an underling than a friend.

-Marinette decides to ignore the call, she is having a fun time with the new girl, if its important than Lila can call again.

-Lila had been rocking a new look, something Marinette had made, and wanted Marinette's help to put the finishing touches. She was planning on asking adrien out.

-Of course, she notices Adrien is absentmindedly looking through a book.

-She sneaks a peek and notices that the pictures look very similar to a certain heroine of Paris.

-But before Lila could go forward asking adrien out. In his rush to get to fencing he agreed to meet her after school... he left the book.

-Marinette managed to finish showing Alya around, right as Lila arrived, focused on her own idea she ignored Alya to tell Marinette what she needed.

-"You want a necklace like that... what is this book?"

-Alya also took a look and noticed some similarities between the book and heroes of paris she heard of.

-Lila managed to shoot some lie about being super close with Ladybug halfhazardly, and Alya thought that was cool, but Marinette knew was a lie but was focused on the book.

-"So can you make it or not?"

-Tikki was watching, and whispered to Marinette to say yes. Surprised by tikki's insistance she went with it.

-Lila asked how long it would take, and Marinette said she wasnt sure, but that she needed the book as reference.

-Lila smiled and left, telling her to try and finish before end of school day.

-After leaving Alya told Marinette that Lila may know Ladybug but she didnt seem that nice.

-"What do you mean?" Marinette more focused on the book, didnt notice Lila's usual harshness.

-Alya told Marinette the honest truth, which Marinette did sort of understand but with her mind focused on leaving to see what tikki wanted with the book. Said that they could talk later.

-Alya decided that SHE would confront Lila about her treatment of Marinette.

-Marinette takes the book to Fu immediately as per Tikki's instruction. Missing school. But Lila covered for her since she believed Marinette was making her necklace.

-Marinette learns about Fu's backstory and Helps him make copies of the book. Because she needs to get it back to Lila. Though she did wonder how she got the book.

-After school, Lila realizes there is no Marinette in sight and she is ignoring her calls. So she grumbles and Buys a necklace thats... Close enough for her plan.

-Alya investigating Lila after the odd behavior. She is the one that confronts Lila before her interaction with Adrien.

-Lila tries to spin it but Alya knows whats up, she is trying to pretend to be a heroine. And Lila decides okay, enough nice girl.

-Lila threatens to destroy Alya's school life. Turn everyone against her. She would be alone, the weird hero obsessed new girl.

-Alya felt stunned and hurt. And in her frustration Yanked the fox necklace away from Lila, telling her that she isnt letting her have her way.

-Hawkmoth notices and finds he has an interesting new victim.

I’m sort of still getting into punk and learning about everything. You’re blog has been really helpful with resources and everything. Plus your cool.

Okayyy, now my question. I’m a junior in high school and I want to go to college. Pursue further education and all of that stuff. Learn more about the world and critical thinking. But I don’t want to pay a ton of money to a bunch of old ivy dudes.

What’s the right direction to go in for this? Is college a good option if I want to learn? What schools are good places? Where do I learn more about this stuff?

First off, Im going to stress that you are a junior and you have PLENTY of time to think about this. So dont stress too much right now.

Secondly, I want to preface this with the simple fact of college isnt for everyone. There are SO many ways to survive and thrive in life without it. And thats okay, good even! That being said, this post is just gonna be me talking about college. Under the cut of course

OKAY! So, is college a good option if you want to learn? My answer is yes! I learned a lot at college, both inside and outside my classes. I learned a lot of life lessons, I met people from all over the country (and a few international students). And I learned how to challenge my own beliefs and try to see things from perspectives that I didnt even know could exist prior to college.

But Im sure you were referring to the educational aspect. And truth be told, this heavily depends on both your school and you. Some examples: My school had a phenomenal chemistry program. You couldnt walk out of that program without having learned things if you made it through. But my school also had a very poor fine arts program. And to be quite blunt, I often wondered why any art student chose to stay. But going even further, it depends a lot on the individual as well. I was admittedly not the best student. I wasnt that interested in lab or research compared to some of my classmates, nor did I apply myself as much. And the difference is clear to see when others could rattle off different solvents and what reactions would occur from memory and I would be sitting there dumbfounded.

Next question, what schools are good places? Again, that fully depends on what you want to go to school for. But I’ll tell you what I did and how I chose my school. When I was a junior in high school, I found a list of every 4 year university in my state (I knew I wanted to stay in state, but you can do this for wherever you want to go). I then went through and gave each school a ranking out of 5 (based on vibes, chemistry program, education program, cost, and surrounding area). Once I had it narrowed down to only a few schools, those were the ones I toured. And I chose where to send applications from there.

Though, I cant stress enough how beneficial community college can be. A lot of people get all their gen eds out of the way either before they enroll in a university or over summers. Doing this will save you money and time. Literally not a single person on a university campus would look down on you for this. If anything, they will praise you for being smart. I took a few classes over the summers between semesters just to get them out of the way (and also avoid certain professors).

Where to learn more? Google. Google schools near you. Google schools where you want to go. Google schools ranked nationally in xyz. Google affordable universities. Google universities that have good financial aid programs. Just google so many things. From there, spend time exploring university websites. Read about their community and their academic programs. See if they have virtual tours uploaded. Check out their student activity board social medias to see what it would be like to be there as a student. Sign up for tours. Do an overnight visit if you can!! Or even, just walk around the campus without a tour guide
