hii, welcome back! do you have any ideas for low calorie homemade non-dairy milks?
Hello!
I have pretty much zero idea how to do non-dairy milk at home, but I will look into it and see what I can find and post a recipe! But it will take a while, since I have a lot of doctor appointments this week. Hopefully will be able to post it within the next 4 days!! ♥

~ Lemon Ginger Drink ~
Since I am currently sick, I would like to share an old family recipe that helps against colds, infections, and headaches. Obviously, this is NOT medicine, but it can help your body get better!! I love to drink it whenever I feel very tired but can't sleep too.
46 calories | 0.5g Protein | 0.4g Fat | 10.5g Carbs
Time needed: 10 minutes
What you need:
~ 300ml water
~ 30ml fresh lemon juice
~ 1/2 tbsp honey
~ 1 slice raw ginger root
How to:
1. In a pot, add a slice of raw ginger root and lemon juice to your water and bring it to a boil.
2. Fill it into a cup, add some honey and enjoy!
Tip: How much lemon juice or honey you add is up to you and depends on your taste! I like it very sour, so if you are more of a sweet person, use less lemon juice or more honey.
Bon Appétit! ♥

~ 3+ savory breakfast ideas ~
Many experts say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as it starts up your digestion and prepares your body for the day, but preparing and eating breakfast can be overwhelming for many! Here are some easy and quick breakfast ideas, so you can start your day! ♥
1. Scrambled eggs
Eggs are full of protein and can be used for an easy breakfast meal that doesn't take long. You can add pretty much everything you like to it. Just use 2 eggs or egg whites and mix in whatever you like. Some of my favorite things include:
~ 50g Baby spinach, 1 bell pepper, and 1/2 spring onion (172cal)
~ 1/2 onion and 50g feta cheese (215cal)
~ ham or tuna (130+cal depending on the brand)
2. Sandwich
As for the calorie count, I used the calories my own whole wheat toast has, however, calories can vary depending on your brand of bread and ingredients. You can also prepare your sandwich the evening before, which is very convenient! Some topping ideas:
~ lettuce, a slice of ham or cheese, cucumber (162cal)
~ cream cheese and cucumber slices (179cal)
~ tomatoes and mozzarella slices (220cal)
3. Fried Rice
Roughly 185 calories
Now, this is a great recipe if you have leftovers from dinner. You can easily put some cooked rice into a pan and add whatever vegetables you like. I like to use spring onions, bell pepper, and tomatoes, but you can also use baby spinach or even put cheese on top.
4. More recipes
For more recipes, you can look into my recipe book by clicking the link! There I also have grilled cheese, salads, and many other foods!
Bon Appétit! ♥

Do you have savoury breakfasts that are under 200 calories? I’m trying to reduce my sugar consumption so I’m not at such a high risk for diabetes which apparently I am. Sorry that was a bit much information. But yeah, It’s nice to see you’re back again and I hope everything is on track for you!
Ah, I am sorry you're at high risk! I really hope things work out well for you, remember to take care of yourself! Not just your body, but also your mind as I can imagine it's a very high stress situation for you!
I will be posting some breakfast ideas later today or tomorrow for you! ♥

~ Mini Apple Pies ~
Here is an easy pie recipe I love to make during autumn and winter time! It's very easy and quick and perfect to enjoy with some hot cocoa or tea or to gift to family and friends! It's a bit higher in calories, but they really fill you up. ♥
162 calories | 2g Protein | 7g Fats | 27g Carbs per serving (makes 6)
Time needed: 1 hour roughly
What you need
1 package puff pastry
3 apples
3-4 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 packages vanilla sugar (optional)
2 tbsp butter
1 egg (optional)
How to
1. Preheat oven to 180°C | 356°F. Wash apples well and cut them into cubes.
2. In a bowl, mix the apples with cinnamon and sugar. Make sure the apples are well covered.
3. Heat butter in a pot. Cook apples for about 5 minutes or until they are soft enough for you.
4. Take out the pastry and brush it over with the juice from the apples, then cut it into squares. With a spoon, fill one triangle of the square with the apples, then overlap it with the other triangle and use a fork to seal the ends and brush the top with the egg.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Tip: You can also add Christmas seasoning or fill it with pumpkin instead of apples! If you don't have puffy pastry at hand, you can make your own!
Bon Appétit! ♥

I had an accident
So, I am back home temporary. Last friday I had an accident which send me straight to hospital and into emergency surgery.
To keep it short, my left shoulder was almost completly smashed and I had spinal damage. I am glad I survived, but it is unsure how and if I will be able to use my arm again. I can’t do anything by myself anymore, I need help with getting showered, dressed and getting out of bed.
I am severly depressed and it’s hard not to let negative thoughts consume me but I hang on. I always do. I might not post recipes for a bit as I can not bake or cook but if you want to follow my recovery journey you can follow my other blog @sedporcelainbaby

If you want to get better you need to start doing things for yourself. Don’t do it to impress others or to get a reaction, do it because it makes you feel good and you like it!
Do a facemask not because you want to look good for others, but because you like how your skin feels afterwards.
Buy that pretty lipstick, even if you will only wear it at home and just wear it whenever you feel like it, enjoy the color and enjoy the feeling of trying something new.
Wear your favourite lingerie not because you want someone to see it but because it makes you feel pretty and you like how it feels.
Learn to impress yourself, learn to do things you like because you like them and not for others, take care of yourself like you want to be taken care of and you’ll see how lovely life can feel. ♥
