Blueberry Banana Cake Loaf Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed or sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or any oven container that works for you
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar or I used honey and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add and stir in the mashed or sliced bananas and vanilla extract.
4. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the banana mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
6. Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy and let us know what you think 🥰

Good food and good ambience at the Marrakesh Restaurant - went for a friends birthday and they even brought out a special Baklava treat along with a Happy Birthday song - the food was a culinary delight which is prepared and served in genuine tradition of the Moroccan culture and the fusions of the modern Mediterranean palate.
All of the Marrakesh Restaurants dishes are prepared and cooked by experienced chefs with a wealth of knowledge - when you get seated you get explained about the individual dishes.

I had a Lamb Tagine, a slow cooked tender lamb with succulent prunes and flatbread plus we all had a delicious Moroccan platter to share.
You can combine Moroccan flavours with some Mediterranean flair - the restaurants pizza dough is freshly made in house daily and all pizzas are topped with 100% pure mozzarella cheese and fresh herbs - which was delicious 🤌
Other foods on offer - various Tagines, Couscous or Rice dishes, Pasta, from the grill, House Specials, Moroccan Tapas, Pizza, side dishes like chips and salad, Desserts, tea and coffee, Beer, House Wine and soft drinks plus they have a takeaway option.
Offers on - every Wednesday and Thurday they have Cocktails and Tapas option and Kids Eat Free every Tuesday and Sunday.
