The concept of the overlord always confused me.

He is described as darkness and evil itself. While I have no problem with an unsympathetic villain, the plot of Ninjago has always focused more on a sense of balance especially in the later seasons such as the existance of the Oni and Dragons. So I find it very hard to accept that they make the Overlord a primordial being representing everything evil when the Oni already exist representing destructon- not that Oni are evil (Mystake I love you) but they already represent a side considered dark.

Yes, I know that the Overlord is an already established character from the very first seasons of Ninjago so even if they wanted to change what they said about him, it wouldn't be easy but I wish they involved a backstory for him? Not really but c'mon Ninjago- give me more than just a simple "I was born from darkness"

WHY...WERE YOU BORN FROM DARKNESS? Were you the previous "God" of Ninjago before the first spinjitsu master came? Was Ninjago that "evil" of a realm that the overlord came into being? Did the first spinjitsu master make some big mistake for you to manifest?

(After asking myself that question I went to the wiki and saw that the overlord was born out of darkness because Ninjago was created so what if because of FSM's desperation to make a peaceful world he didn't know th consequemces to that and then the overlord came into being. Man I wish this was canon and they explained it in the show....)

Did you create Wojira or were YOU her? I don't know give me something especially with how complex Ninjago made the Dragon and Oni lore :((((

This is probably Crystalized's fault for messing up the lore so much but I persinally like making sense of canon even when it DOESN'T make sense overall- I mean fanfics and headcanons exist!!!

Continue if you want Headcanons that possibly- most likely don't make sense. They're just Ideas that I thought of that seem cool.

1. Personally, I like thinking that the Overlord is the Oni's leader and not that pushover Oni Lloyd and Garmadon fought in March of the Oni. Like, the Oni migrated right? There were no more Oni in the first realm when the Ninja came and clearly they left a long time before season 9 happened.

Ooohh what if March of the Oni happened cayse the Oni were trying to prepare for the Overlord.

I know this headcanon makes it look like I'm saying the Oni are a one dimentional race but it's just cool if both Oni and dragon (cause there's ultra) came to Ninjago to look for FSM anf while Oni were missing (?) the dragons befriended his sons. Idk it sounds cute.

2. I noticed while watching some Ninjago clips that the Overlord looks like a combination of a dragon and an Oni, like a dark dragon. I mean that's what he transforms into in season 2- Maybe this is why the Dragon and Oni were so desperate to get the FSM on their side cause before him the Overlord came, decided he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, nearly destroyed both species and then they banished him somewhere else.

Oh? You're saying I'm giving a supposedly unsympathetic villain a backstory when he isn't meant to have one? Ya so what? It's an interesting take if I do say so myself even if the FSM lore we're given contradicts me

I hope you can tell J like making bavkstories for no reason😭

OOOHH OKAY SO,,,

The first one are these pop-it balls!! I have really bad skin picking and they tend to help immensely with that :] I honestly cannot go anywhere without them or I will explode

Second is a polaroid camera I’ve had for a couple of years!! I’ve always loved the sound it makes when you take a picture and just the general shape of it is really pretty,, it stopped working months back ago though :sobs:

Third is this robot dinosaur I found when I was antique shopping one day. It doesn’t even have a remote or batteries that’ll make it operate or anything but I still got it because it just looked way too cool to ignore,, (plus I used to have a much smaller one when I was younger so that’s another reason why I got it :])

Lastly is of course my marker plush!! (and the blanket he’s wrapped in) Marker bring me tonsss of comfort and he’s always by my side :3 The blanket is something that I’ve had for over a decade now so it’s extremely old and worn out. My family has always been persistent in trying to convince me to get rid of it but I refuse to because I genuinely cannot sleep without it 😭

ermmm yah those are some of the objects that I’ve grown quite a big bond with ty for asking!! ^_^

Okay I am adoring the new aesthetic! I love how the blue is so comforting on the eyes omg...well comforting for me aha Daily Hobie HC time!! That lip-ring has to be ticklish whenever he kisses anywhere BUT your lips. And I have a strong suspicion he knows it to and he loves how your laugh sounds whenever he hits that certain spot of tickle-y-ness(??) with the cool metal of the piercing. But the thing is the spot seems to change so he'll just have to try harder to find it again Oh well, at least you're being smothered with kisses, right? Also a little side-note: Whenever I read the time loop AU, it makes me think of the song "Neglected Space" by Imogen Heap (The ending of the song...aka about 3:55, feels like the alternate ending) - 🐦‍⬛

A Visit From… Bloopers Reel (Vol. 2)

Welcome to the second volume of the bloopers reel. This time around I also added some deleted scenes I couldn’t fit into the series, for one reason or another. Remember this is outside of canon from the series, meant for fun and to break tension. Please sit back and enjoy the hilarity

Warning: Swearing, utter stupidity not meant to be taken seriously

A Visit From… Jack Manifold

“You know I tried to be patient but clearly that’s not going to happen.” You speak up, startling the guy as he whips his head in your direction.

“Ahjfjjr mrimvokd!” You start laughing when all that comes out of Jack’s mouth is absolute gibberish.

“I’m sorry, what was that again?” You say between chuckles.

“Words?” He chuckles himself, slightly embarrassed.

“I can assure you those weren’t words.” You say cheekily.

“I forgot my line, can we just start over?” He looks away, trying to hide his beet red face.

“Are there still awkward potions in the chest?” You ask rhetorically before resetting yourselves to retake the scene.

A Visit From… Quackity

You could hear screaming outside your house, curious and concerned you step out to investigate only to see a man running around in nothing but… let’s say shorts for now.

“What the f***?” It slips out before you can catch yourself. “When you said you weren’t going to wear much for the scene, I didn’t think you meant you would be borderline naked.”

“That’s just how I vibe, man.” He says in his Mexican Dream voice, the both of you end up laughing as a result.

“Uhhh… Y-you good over there, buddy?” You ask hesitantly.

“Oh yes, hello.” He waves, speaking in an oddly high-pitched voice as he approaches, you can’t help but break into laughter.

“If you keep this up we’re never going to finish filming this scene.” You in fact did not finish the scene that day.

A Visit From… Punz (Second Visit)

An infuriated Punz who marches up to you and practically shoves a pouch into your hands, the force behind it almost knocking you over.

“Oops sorry.” Punz apologizes.

“You just pushed me, how dare you.” You dramatically feign hurt, you can’t hold up the act for long and the both of you end up laughing before retaking the scene.

“You seem very tense, have a seat and try to cool down a little while I get something for you.” You say in a calm matter, hoping to not aggravate him any farther then he already was. He drops himself down on the couch so hard one of the legs breaks off. The two of you stare at each other in silence for a moment.

“You’re going to have to fix that.”

“I know…” He sighs.

“Fundy stole Beenus!” He starts, you’re trying so hard not to crack, he notices. “Don’t you dare, don’t you dare.” He warns, but that just makes you laugh harder.

“Beenus…” Is all you manage to wheeze out. It takes a few minutes to calm down before you can try the scene again.

A Visit From… Tubbo (Third Visit)

“Well I’m sure you’ve already heard that Wilbur and Tommy are now enemies to L'Manberg, and as the president’s man it’s my job to help hurt them down.” Tubbo explains.

“Are you sure that’s what you meant to say?” You ask. Tubbo looks at you confused, then proceeds to flip through the script.

“Oh? Ooohh! Sorry.” He apologizes for the mistake. “It’s hunt not hurt, I mean I could hurt them too in all honesty.” He says nonchalantly, you can hear Wilbur break into laughter in the background.

“Are you doing this because you want to do it or because someone told you to do it?”

“Ummm… well… because I uhhh… uhhhh… uhhhhhh…” He trails off, you could practically see the gears turning in his head as he tries to remember his line.

“Take your time.”

A Visit From… Techno

“Alright, what can I…” Your voice trails off, eyes wide and blood running cold. “Eeehhhhhh…” You let out the high pitched sound without meaning to.

“Ahaha! You should really see the look on your face.” Techno chuckles.

Deleted Scene: “What the heck?” You mutter looking down at your comm, Techno raises a curious eyebrow. “Apparently Tommy wants me to relay a message to you.” You explain.

“If it is what I think it is, I’m not doing it.” Techno says, crossing his arms.

“Well that’s just the thing, it’s not much of a message, it’s just the letter E.” Instantly after you say that Techno’s face scrunches up and he glares at the wall.

“Where did Tommy say he was again?” He asks, an edge to his voice.

“I think he’s still at Pogtopia with Wilbur, why?” You ask nervously.

“… I’m gonna kill him.” With that Techno leaves without another word and you’re left standing there shocked and confused.

A Visit From… HBomb

“Wait, why is this one blue? I’ve never seen a blue stand before.”

“Well why are you in a maid outfit?” You ask back. HBomb looks down at himself.

“Why didn’t anyone tell me I was still wearing this?” He asks, slightly embarrassed. You just shrug. “Hang on, I’ll be right back.”

A Visit From… Eret (Second Visit)

“You know for someone who wants to be discreet you sure look rather flashy.” You joke pointing to their outfit. He chuckles sheepishly at this.

“Yeah I guess, but you gotta admit, I look really good in it.” She replies, striking a pose.

“Yas, work it.” You applaud, Eret strikes another pose. The two of you completely forgetting to finish the scene in favour of this small fashion show… worth it.

A Visit From… JSchlatt

“Here, a little something from me to you.” He tosses something at you, you’re too distracted trying to catch it to pay attention to what it is. When it’s secure in your grip do you look down at it.

“An apple?” You raise a questioning eyebrow his way. “Who do you take me for? Charlie?”

“Man’s not even in this series.”

“Yet. I heard he’s joining later in the timeline.”

“Can’t a man just make a reference in peace?” Schlatt sighs exasperated.

“No, because that’s exactly what you want.” You quip.

“You know what, f*** you, we’re doing this again.” He jabs back lightheartedly, the both of you sharing a small laugh before having to redo the scene.

“Only if we’re getting ahead of ourselves. No, I’m here to make amends.”

“Ominous foreshadowing is ominous.” You mutter.

“That’s what I’m here for.” Schlatt states proudly.

“Oh sh**! I didn’t think you heard me.” You look away sheepishly.

“These ram ears hear everything, baby!”

“Oh, you’re a ram! Here I thought you were a goat hybrid like Tubbo.”

“What? No! Why does everyone keep thinking that?”

“Your traits do look very similar.” You point out. “We’re getting off track, should we try again?”

“Yeah sure I’ve got some time to kill.”

A Visit From… Wilbur and Dream (Firth and Third Visit)

“By all accounts we’re actually the bad guys. Schlatt won fair and square in the election and even made some good changes to the country, and we’re the ones trying to take it back by force. This isn’t about L’Manberg or the people anymore…” Before Wilbur can continue you jump in.

“It’s about drive, it’s about power.”

“We stay hungry, we devour.” Dream joins in.

“Put in the work, put in the hours, AND TAKE WHATS OURS!”

“You two are literally the worst.” Wilbur says, semi-amused.

“Oh cmon, I see that smile you’re trying to hide.” You smirk, leaning in closer to him, he lightly shoves you away in retaliation.

A Visit From… Techno (Second Visit)

Making your way down stairs you nearly give yourself a heart attack, slipping in the process.

“Dude! Don’t scare me like that!” You scold picking yourself up.

“Can’t hold me accountable, I didn’t even do anything.” Techno raises his arms in defence.

“You presents is intimidating.”

“That sounds like a you problem.” He says matter-of-factly. You sigh and head back upstairs to try at the scene again.

Festival Aftermath

Deleted Scene: “I leave you alone for 5 minutes and suddenly everyone’s throwing hands!” You announce your arrival rather suddenly.

“Techno started it!” Tommy shouts, pointing an accusing finger at the piglin.

“I didn’t start yelling for no reason, you did.”

“Oh yeah well…” You sigh as Tommy goes off on some tangent, you hear Wilbur laugh.

“What?” You look over at him.

“Nothing, nothing. It’s just sometimes when you’re trying to diffuse a situation, I don’t know, it reminds me of what my own father does.”

“If that’s the case, I feel sorry the man.”

This is both so sad and so cool. The story of every hiccup being best friends with dragons: the first ending the war, the second raised by dragons and tried to liberate them, the third needing to send them away.

The green death was the one that tried to kill hiccup the first? Whoaaahhh. And I'm glad that Hiccup the first treated the dragons good and the promise was kept until he died, he wasn't evil. None of the hiccups were mean! That's very interesting! And makes this feel a lot better.

Ghouls and Monsters - The Werewolf

(WereKim is sitting by himself, gnawing on his favorite chew toy, unaware of the girl approaching him from the shadows. Winlix snarls, her yellow eyes glowing in the darkness, saliva dripping from her mouth.)

Winlix: Fresh meat...

(WereKim looks up, his sharp senses having caught something, but sees nothing, going back to chewing on the squeaky bone. Winlix pounces on him from the shadows... and finds herself not making much impact, due to his massive size. He yelps happily and begins roughhousing with her. )

WereKim: You like pouncing and wrestling too?! It’s may favorite game to play with my brothers and sisters!

Winlix: Aw man! I almost always win. You're a real big werewolf, buddy. Sound familiar, too.

WereKim: (Grins) Thanks! (Flexes his muscles) Yeah, you look a lot like my friend, Alix! Only without the shades and you don’t have snake hair!

Winlix: That's cause I am, dummy. So she's a gorgon?

WereKim: Yep! Which means I finally get to have a staring contest with you!

Winlix: *Groans* You must be Kim. I always said he was like a golden retriever, but this is ridiculous.

WereKim: Yeah, my friends say that a lot too! (He suddenly gains a look like a lovesick puppy) ‘Dine says I’m the goodest boy in the world!

Winlix: Heh! You guys are still as sappily sweet in this place as well, that's cute. She human or a monster?

WereKim: (Yips happily) The prettiest water monster ever! (He pulls out his phone and shows her a picture)

Winlix: Aww. I've met a few goonies (slang term for creatures from lagoons and oceans). They're usually chill. We play reefball together.

WereKim: Yeah, Dine is actually a freshie and a goonie! Her mom is from Loch Ness, but her dads from the Mexican coast!

Winlix: Ooohh... where I'm from, they've got pretty rocky relationships. Do her and her folks have to deal with family drama?

(WereKim nods unfortunately)

WereKim: Yeah…her folks are great, but…the rest of her family causes a lot of trouble, criticizing her and just being really mean. Her dads parents don’t even like that she’s dating me, because I’m not one of them. They call me ‘the mutt’ and stuff like that.

Winlix: *Growling* Bastards... sorry you gotta deal with that, man.

WereKim: It’s what it is, I guess. Stuff like that sucks, but it happens.

(WereKim can hear her voice break a little as she asks the next question.)

Winlix: Do you have your real parents around in your universe?

WereKim: Yeah, I’ve got my dads, my mom, and all my siblings! (He tilts his head, gaining a sad look) Did something happen to yours?

Winlix: (Looks sad) Hunters shot 'em down with silver bullets. My brother, too. A good thing that there were some humans trying to protect us, otherwise I'd hate them all.

WereKim: Ah geez, I’m real sorry. I can’t imagine losing my folks. And yeah…some humans can take things too far... (Rubs the side of his ribs, where the scar on his back ends)

Winlix: That's for sure. It's ok, though. I was only like 8 or whatever. It hurts, but I always had my sisters by my side. Ok, we're not related, but they're still like my siblings to me. We've been together since we were babies. We were all raised by a group of witches, along with everyone's parents.

WereKim: Wow, that’s cool! Must be cool to have moms who know magic! My friends are kinda like my family too, we all look out for each other.

Winlix: Sweet! Here’s a picture of my group. Obviously you can’t see Jules. (She shows a photo of the 6 Ghoul Squad girls with the Witches of Wisdom.)

Winlix: Marinette’s a witch, but she lives with her parents.

WereKim: Yeah, our Juleka doesn’t show up in pics either, neither does Luka. (Shows a picture of all his friends together) These are all my buds!

Winlix: Aw sweet! Woah! So that’s what Alya would look like without bandages… or without decaying skin. And Rose’s a skeleton! Mylene isn’t glowing, and I don’t got fur! And Marinette! She’s a doll. This is freaky, but I like it!

WereKim: Yeah, you guys should all come around and meet the rest of our friends! It could be fun!

Winlix: Sounds like a howling good time! (They both howl in unison.)

I felt my cellphone vibrating and ringing in my pants.

I lift it out of my pants answering it with a odd but very bright smile.

I can hear his voice loudly ask me to help to produce his music.

I agree to meet him at his palace with my mighty musical troop.

Marcanne Week Day 1: Childhood/ First Meetings

YAY IT'S FINALLY MARCANNE WEEK!!

Big thanks to @a-wild-potato for hosting!

So! I'm gonna try to have my submissions up on time each day, but they're not all completed yet, so we'll see

Anyway. Little Anne and Marcy

Six legs, typical for insects. Large in size. Glossy red shell. Three black spots per wing, perfectly symmetrical. An excellent specimen!

“-Whatcha looking at?”

Marcy jumps and looks up. A girl about her age was standing over her with a curious expression and a friendly smile.

“Ladybug,” Marcy states matter-of-factly, and returns her attention to the insect in front of her.

“Cool,” the other girl returns. She sticks her hands in her pockets. “I like ladybugs, too.”

That gets Marcy’s attention. She looks up for a second time. The girl was wearing a pink shirt with cats on it, and the mess of brown curls on top of her head was wrangled into two pigtails.

“You do?” Marcy stands up.

The girl brightens, apparently happy to have gotten her attention. “Yeah! Ladybugs are pretty! Can I see it?”

Marcy moves to the side and points. The girl squats down, utters a hushed “ooohh”, then bounces right back up again.

“Bugs are cool! I’m Anne by the way. What’s your name?”

Marcy fiddles with the hem of her shirt. Staring at her crocs, she mumbles, “Marcy.”

“Hiya Marcy! I like your name,” Anne says, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet. “Do you think maybe we could be friends?”

Marcy hummed, unsure. She considered for a moment, gaze still never leaving her shoes. She peeked upwards, just for a moment. Anne beamed at her, patiently awaiting an answer.

No one had ever really… asked Marcy if they could be her friend. All the other kids in kindergarten thought she was too weird. She was pretty sure they whispered about her when they thought she couldn’t hear.

But this girl seemed to actually like her. And she liked bugs, just like Marcy. Anne could help her hunt for ladybugs, and look under rocks for worms, and catalog the species they found. Plus...

Having a real friend might be nice, she thought.

“Y-yeah. I think I’d like that.”

If it was physically possible, Anne’s smile only got bigger. She squealed happily.

“Yay! I just know we’re gonna be best friends! We can swing on the swings together, and we can find more cool bugs- oh! You wanna go show our moms the ladybug you found?”

She points behind Marcy, to two chatting women sitting on a park bench.

“Um, yeah. That sounds good,” Marcy mumbles shyly.

She coaxes the insect onto her finger and they set off across the grass. Anne doesn’t stop talking the whole way.

“...and I live around the corner. Where do you live? Do you like video games? My dad just got this new game in the mail called Vagabondia Chronicles! I haven’t played it yet. He says I’m ‘too little’, whatever that means. Ugh. Hey, do you have a cat? You should meet my cat, I just got her! Her name’s Domino ‘cause she looks like a domino, and- whoa!”

Anne suddenly flings her arm out, stopping Marcy in her tracks.

“Wha…?” Marcy begins, then looks down and sees the soccer ball she almost tripped over. “Whoa. Thanks.”

“No problem!” Apparently not a fan of staying still, Anne grabs Marcy’s hand and begins to pull her along. “Come on, Mar-mar! I’ll make sure you don’t trip again!”

Marcy laughed, and the two girls took off together, hand in hand, across the playground.

Hihii, I just entered my Johnny phase. Together with a Yarichin Bitch Club phase, which is certainly not a good thing. The Johnny phase is delightful, but the YBC one.... I don't know. No. It's bad. But I like Yuri Ayato, the filty, dirty, weird pervert he is. Also I'm so excited for NMIXX's comeback!!!! In O.O Bae said that the song O.O was just a teaser, and well I'm expecting so much from this. I love their concept so much. And I don't understand that people don't understand the lyrics, it's a bit confusing but overal easy to understand to me. Maybe it's because I am autistic. And I'm excited because O.O had the weird beatdrop, which made me hope their title track(s) will be super cool as well!!! Hihii, I forgot to add about my addiction for Turn Back Time and Action Figure. For Action Figure, the part after the bridge where it goes like 'action figure, action, action f- oOOHh' I'm in love it sounds so good. Kun. Winwin. Foe Turn Back Time, I have this weird feeling i get when listening to the part in the first verse, after the little singing part and before Yangyangs limit limit part (especially Winwins part). It makes me question things like: Am I here? Is what I'm seeing actually here? Is what I'm hearing actually there? Is earth flat? Or am i just floating in the void, thinking there's an earth around me? Am I? What is understanding of things? What is communitcating? What makes me different from the tree over there? Stuff like that. Maybe Winwins voice hypnotizes me. I think so. Ily ♡

The Johnny phase is delightful, I can't wait till I fall back into my johnny phase fully. I kind of been bouncing from Hyunjin, Bangchan and Jungwoo. but I know once the Johnny phase starts its gonna hit like a ton of bricks. Yuta might come first though. And It does seem really cool.

I've been listeing to Action Figure and Turn Back Time a lot also as well as just Wayv, my youtube just goes Wayv, SKZ, Wayv, SKZ then a wild Doja Cat appears among them. And oooh the does so so good. And I love when the way Hendery's so drippy sounds with Xiaojun's verse. Like that's my favorite part. Winwin and Hendery's parts definitely hit the most in turn back time. And I love Yangyang's adlibs in the stop rewind turn back time. But seriously I miss Winwin's voice, we def hear him more in Wayv and I'm so thankful for that, But when Winwin returns with Universe Hendery totally got a lot more so that means Winwin will also get more. Also in Love Talk we talk about Yangyang I just want you to make it clap. But what about Hendery's "we can have it all if you back back back back back it up" is it just me, am I the only one who was like hold on. Also Yangyang talking about his make it clap line. Bangchan come here, learn from another Libra man. Yangyang said 'whatever you think it means thats what it means' or something like that im paraphrasing but see see that's all you have to do. Bangchan writes these lyrics then wants to continue these lies a year later.

Question to keep ya going at work!! I see you've found Malevolent, what do you think of it?? Favorite characters, favorite scene? Cool moments that live rent free? Random details that just make ya happy?

ooohh, this is a lot to ponder. especially since I binged through it pretty quickly, so don’t mind if I use this space to also just spill some thoughts.

I like it! I’m not usually much into horror stuff, but this one is fun. well crafted, and incredible that it’s only one actor. I love the hook of a newly blind detective with the entity in his head using his eyes describing things to him, perfect mechanic for a poscast. A few elements got a liiittle repetitive in the middle there, but parts 19 and 20 fixed some of those things that had been kind of bothering me, and the last handful of episodes, including those, have been really rewarding.

I’m… kind of intrigued by the decision mechanic on patreon. I don’t think I want to be involved in it, though, which kind of surprised me. I really appreciate being aware of it and the meta aspect brings to the tone of a few things in the show. but personally I think I prefer to just see what happens as the resulting parts come out, rather than be behind the scenes like that.

As for characters, of course there’s Arthur and John, and they’re both great. They’re fucking messes, both on their own and toward each other. They despise each other and they’re best friends. It would almost be annoying how frequently they go back and forth between friendship and verbal fights, if there wasn’t something kind of funny about it too. There’s a nice honesty to their very rocky, up-and-down path with each other and with their relationship with their humanity and monstrousness sides.

Outside of them, of course I like Kayne. He’s a little shit, constantly two steps away from being too obnoxious for his own good. He’s very fun.

Speaking of which, part 20 is probably pound for pound my favorite, it hit so many buttons. Meeting Kayne, “the better half of your better half”, the entire scene with Lily, John’s last words to her and Arthur reciting them for him, John crying through Arthur’s eyes, Arthur’s poem, the standoff with the King, Arthur’s speech, John sacrificing himself for Arthur. A lot to love there.

I keep rotating the scene where Arthur shook John’s hand. As sad as it was with regards to John, it was also fascinating to start fresh with Yellow. I wonder if Yellow has been essentially wiped from existence or something stranger. I like the ambiguity of the trees replacing the lost finger. I never really got scared, but a few of the creature sounds right in my ears got a bit unsettling, especially the one in the morgue. I liked the description of the little flying dude in the large cave, I wish to befriend him. Likewise, it was nice to hear Arthur smile and be sweet with him and Lily, especially after every other creature has tried to kill or eat him.

I’m glad I got into it when I did, lots of good story beats to bite into and some recent cliffhangers to bypass, lol

okay, so this week's episode is the least fanservice-y so far (imo) so there's less to fangirl about BUT there's still a fair bit soo here goes..

first off: we have been majorly bamboozled. they legit made us all believe we were gonna get some flashbacks while Kenobi heals, huh? and then all we get is the parallel between him and Anakin in Bacta tanks, healing, and having visions..

i mean, i still appreciate the parallel, and to me it seemed like Anakin was feeling something too, that maybe he was struggling with his actions too, but like... i did kinda very much want those General Kenobi + General Skywalker flashbacks.. or maybe a Satine flashback.. or maybe Qui-Gon reaching out to Kenobi and helping him recover. or SOMETHING.. but we got some bacta parallels. so yay i guess xD (i sound more bitter than i actually am, i really thought the parallels were fkin cool)

Baby Leia is still a badass, and i feel like she might be unwittingly using the force to keep Reva out but idk. maybe she's just that strong.

also Reva is still a badass, but still annoying, but she IS supposed to be annoying so it's cool. Moses is doing an amazing at making me not like Reva as a person, but i still think she's pretty cool as a character overall..

also poor Lola.. she's gotta be destroyed now, isn't she? 💔

also the new characters seem cool. hope we get more of them.

also also for a second there i was actually questioning Tala's loyalties but she seems to be on the right side so all good. XD

LOVED how they played with the lights again in the dark.. the red of the interrogations machine and the blue of the lightsaber. *chef's kiss

LOVED how Kenobi was getting back into being a Jedi and using the Force and his saber again. it was all coming back to him as he was going through those troopers. and them moves. ooohh. he still got it 💖💖💖

rip all the Jedi in the tomb.. i only recognized the old goat-like Jedi that helped Ahsoka that one time (if it's him.. it could also be just another one of his species, idk). i was scared Kenobi might see Quinlan or someone he loved dearly.. but daaamn seeing that youngling was a LOT. didn't think we'd see that..

also they diiidd namedrop Quizzy 💖 so he IS alive, they are NOT retconning, so yaaayy. cannot wait for his return (hopefully on ep5)

oh and the bit with Leia holding Kenobi's hand did make me tear up, thank you very much. 😅 such an adorable scene omg. they are so precious. 💖💖💖😭😭😭

all in all, pretty solid episode, LOVED seeing Fortress Inquisitorius. and learning more about what it actually is. and Kenobi getting back into the groove is just amazing.

can't wait for ep5 😍

haiii its me alchemy anon or whatever. thats me i guess, right. guy who likes alchemy. anyways im here 2 talk about it

ok so in its most basic description, alchemy is philosophy but also like really primitive chemistry, and it was practiced mostly everywhere east of america (im not sure if anyone in america also practiced it).

alchemy isn't actually a pseudoscience, it very vaguely follows the scientific method, but that wasnt like a thing yet or anything, meaning it's a protoscience (very early forms of science that was practiced before the scientific method)

the final goal of alchemy is to turn "base metals" (cheap stuff) into "noble metals" (super nice stuff), with the philosophers stone. they also try to make the "elixir of immortality/life" which is exactly what it sounds like.

there's also stuff like prima materia and the magnum opus (two materials that together create the philosopher's stone)

the actual journey of creating the philosophers stone is known as the great work [of alchemy] and that's also the other name of the magnum opus hehe. it's supposed to be a four stage process, sometimes broken down into 12 smaller ones. nigredo, where it turns black. that's because theyre fucking BURNING evertyhing to like cleanse it or something. the second step is albedo, where the alchemist "washes away the impurities" and "brings light and clarity to the prima materia". no idea how they do this btw. probably just like literally washes it. and then you have citrinitas or xanthosis, either name. the stone turns yellow, because of like "solar light inherent in one's being" or something. if u cant tell alchemy is also very spiritual. and then the final stone is supposed to be red! it's called rubedo. i cant find an explanation on what the alchemist actually does to get rubedo, but it's supposed to be the final step in this "personal journey" which is about re-entering the world with your knew knowledge and trying to figure out who you are now. which isreally cool i think.

and there u have it there it is thats the philosphers stone. now u can make gold and possibly become immortal if u tried really hard. also u have to deal with enlightenment

ok i feel kinda bad for shoving all this text in ur inbox so i'll just give u one more fun fact and then get outta here. alchemists use symbols instead of just writing shit normally because alchemy wasn't regarded well for most of history, so alchemists wanted to keep it secret. ok bye 4 now. unless this is like interesting to u or soemthign. i take my leave. bows and exists
