Obey Me! (Brothers)

How They Love:

Lucifer:

Lucifer loves with all his heart. Whilst he might not shout it on the rooftops of Devildom, he shows it to you, and you alone – why try to win the affection of others when you’re the only one he wants? His love ebbs through the relationship, like a constant heartbeat, always there even if you don’t notice it. He shows his love through making sure your D.D.D is plugged in to charge at night and making sure that your pillow is fluffed up before you come to bed. It’s the everyday actions he does for you that show his adoration and devotion to you. He is always attentive to you and your needs, listening to everything you say, no matter how trivial. Wanted to go to a new café? He’s booked a reservation for next Saturday. A demon was rude to you on the way home? They’re apologising for their crude manners the next day. His love for you is constant, and whilst he enjoys the extravagant moments and weekly dates, what he loves most is showing you his love quietly through everyday acts.

Mammon:

He’s been with you since the beginning of your time at Devildom, by your side through thick and thin. Your protector and friend. He fell in love with you quickly, and that fast love and adoration he has for you only grows. He isn’t the best at expressing himself, not when his mind seems to stumble through thoughts at the speed of light, but he’s always there for you. His love is like a thunderstorm, flashing with bright intense bursts of love, and roaring even louder in-between. He doesn’t accept any negative self-talk you say about yourself, instantly pouncing on you and locking you in his warm embrace until he’s listed off everything amazing about you. But when his words fail him and he turns into a blushing mess, he brings you gifts, showering you with things you may have mentioned or things he thought would suit you. Much like a dragon loves and protects their treasure, you are all he’ll ever truly need to be happy.

Leviathan:

Leviathan’s love is slow-burning but oh-so painstakingly obvious. Much like a newly planted seed, you need to nurture his love, watering it and caring for it until he feels comfortable enough to grow around you. But once that love has grown, and his insecurities have subsided enough to let you into his guarded heart it’ll begin to flourish. He’ll still act like a deer, startled and ready to run at the slightest scare, but he’s more eager to welcome you into his world. He makes sure your electronics are all working and charges, checking them for updates and fixing any problems that arise. And if you accept his hobbies, such as cosplaying you’d best believe that you’re getting your own matching costume all handsewn by this handsome demon of envy. He loves you, there’s no doubt about it in the way you’ve become so integrated into his life, into the normalcy you bring, but he’ll always be fighting his own thoughts especially at the beginning so just remember to give him time, and unlike Asmodeus’ burning bonfires of passion, Leviathan needs a constant steam of forgiving and unending love.

Satan:

Satan’s love is as gentle as the purr of a kitten but has the ferocity of a tiger. He loves you, that much is undeniable in the way he holds you tightly and presses kisses down your neck when reading a book as you cuddle and the way he protects you from his anger. But he is also the Avatar of Wrath, and when his anger burns too strongly and destruction follows, he always makes sure that your safe and far away from his outbursts. Did someone disrespect you in his favourite cat café? He’d ask you to wait outside with a soft smile, ushering you through the door with your favourite snack and drink before turning to look at his newfound prey. If you don’t compare him to his brothers (especially Lucifer) his love for you only grows. Unique qualities and individuality are what he loves, and whilst he adapts to certain settings and his communications, he is always his true self with you. He also doesn’t believe in secrets, opening up to you when he feels ready about anything on his mind. Words are his love language, hiding poems around your room, creating stories on the way to school with a protagonist that sounds far too familiar to you and their devilishly handsome love interest who’s always at their side. For him, his love for you is like that found in the stories that pile up in his room and he cannot wait to live his purrfect fairy-tale with you at his side.

Asmodeus:

Asmodeus’ love, as mentioned above is akin to that of a bonfire. Constantly burning, leaving embers of his love for you wherever he goes, and you don’t need to worry about it dying out, not when everything about you rekindles the flames. He was made to be passionate, and his love for you is shown through bringing you into his world. He shares his products with you, getting you free samples of your favourite skincare and haircare lines. Self-care nights and weekends away at the spa are a must. He’s always been one to share you with the public so that everyone can see the beauty in you that he sees, and if you prefer not to be on his social media, he respects your wishes but if your reasoning is one rooted in insecurity, you’d best believe he’s not leaving you until he’s spoken about everything he loves and has shared it with the three worlds. But beyond his extravagance, the love Asmodeus shows you and no one else is his own insecurities, his own worries, and troubles that he cannot show anyone else. Yes, he burns brightly as an individual, but without you at his side he would simply burn out.

Beelzebub:

Beelzebub’s love is like a chocolate covered marshmallow. So sweet and strong on the outside but even sweeter and soft on the inside. He spends his life protecting his brothers, taking care of them and in his eyes, you are what he wants to protect most. Beelzebub doesn’t try to hide his love for you like Mammon or Leviathan might, he is open with you from the start and that love only grows from then on. Whenever he eats food, you’re always invited to join him or share his, and he loves seeing you at his games. He’ll wave at you when he can and once the game is over, he’ll give you a hug (if he’s not too sweaty and you don’t mind of course). He shares his love with everyone, but Belphegor and you see a side of him that no one else can. He show’s his love physically, holding you in his arms, holding your bags, helping you carry heavy objects or aid in calming Cerberus whilst you groom him. He isn’t the best when it comes to expressing his love verbally, but there is not a single ounce of doubt in his voice when he whispers that he loves you in the middle of the night, nor as he tightens his arms around you and kisses your pact mark.

Belphegor:

If Beelzebub’s love is akin to a chocolate covered marshmallow, then Belphegor’s would be similar to that of a sherbet lemon. His love is not as easily won as his twin’s and is built over a longer time than Beelzebub's. Once you've worn through his tough exterior his love is both sweet and sour. Yes, he loves you in your entirety and being one of the very few people he can stand is a win in and of itself, but he has no intention of letting you go anytime soon. It’s no secret that he can be sadistic from time to time, and his way of loving is no different. He can be both sweet and sour, holding onto you as he sleeps, kissing you when he momentarily wakes up before falling back into a slumber, but he can also become jealous and somewhat possessive. He wants to be with you, but if he’s too tired or its too much effort he’d rather not do it. That’s why his main love language is time spent together, either in the same room or sleeping together, if he can see, hear, or touch you, he’s a happy demon. Watching the stars in the tower is his favourite activity to do with you, holding you close, pointing up at constellations and talking about the stories behind them. Even though his love isn’t as obvious as the others, he is loudly confident in his actions and his love, and he has no problem sharing his hopes of the future with you in his life.

one of these days i'm going to write up all that i've changed from azzarello's bullshit era and the one (1) piece i've kept from milligan (and also changed) and the only thing currently stopping me is that it is going to be so, so inside-baseball incomprehensible. and i almost never want to go reading/screencapping azzarello and milligan to add references but i Want to add references.

I can feel your enthusiasm through the comment and I totally relate to it, I'm really a sub for these greek gods too!!

Now I have various headcanons with my oc, Vivi or Violeta, but since you mentioned fem!reader, I'll go with that.

POLY MINSUNG X FEM! READER HEADCANONS

-They're both switches, but Minho tends to take the lead and leans towards dominance more. However, Jisung can be pretty intense too and they can have this battle of pride where they try to manhandle the other into submission. It's fucking hot when it happens because you can't tell which of them is doming here.

-Since Jisung is the younger in the relationship (for a while), he's usually the one being take care of and he LOVES it. Minho, on the other hand, enjoys pampering his jagiya and protect him. The roles outside the bedroom remain the same usually. Minho is the caretaker, with ocasional soft moments when he needs pampering too, and Jisung the babyboy that needs constant affection.

-When you come into their lives, their routine crashes and their entire world perception is turned upside down.

-You meet Jisung first, both of you becoming friends quickly, and you kinda befriend Minho too by association. At first you two only hang out when Jisung is involved and aren't really close, but as time passes and he sees how comfortable his boyfriend is with you, he starts to warm up to you. In return, you see how happy he makes Jisung and the great partner he is, so she start to apreciate him more.

-What started as a friendship with Jisung and a mutual respect with Minho becomes a besties trio. You're younger than them, so they try to look after you out of instinct, but since you're not korean you don't really see the point of this idea of treating people differently by their age.

-More often than not you have arguments because you feel they see you like a kid sometimes and you remind them that you're a fully independent human and you don't need to be treated like a damsel in distress. Jisung is a lot more open minded about it and understands your point of view, but Minho is more conservative and stubborn, so you two argue the most. As your bond progresses, you learnt to let them take care of you sometimes and be vulnerable with them, while they accept to treat you like an equal instead of a "dongsaeng".

-Following this, there are times you decide to take care of them instead and babying them in return, partially for teasing but also because you like it. They're so cute and soft and fluffy when you're alone, you just want to squeeze them in your arms. You reprimand them like they're your children when they do something that bothers you, you bring them clothes and make-up, you fix their hair and clothes when they look messy, you call them stuff like "good boys" "my babies", "my darlings" (the last one is always in a playful tone).

-The position of dominant one in the relationship it's yours now because Minho has found out he loves to be babied and spoiled too, so when you're around he lets you on charge often. In private, they just want to snuggle with you and have you massage their scalps, call them sweet names and cover them in love. Jisung lets out hums of contentment and Minho straight up purrs, curling into a ball against you. At first he fights is off because it hurts his pride as man and the oldest, but it feels way too good.

-Suddenly they bring you to their dates. You become a part of every activity they usually engage in together. You feel weird at first thinking you're intruding in couple activities, but they reassure you constantly that they enjoy your company.

-They're obsessed with hearing you speak in your native language. Even if they don't understand anything, the way your voice shifts and how beautiful you sound makes their brain go brrrr. If used right, you can use this to lull them to sleep.

-From outside, it looks like the typical girl with her gay besties (and you think that's the reality), but some of their acts feel more than platonic. Regardless, you embrace this image and proudly refer to them in the same way, not noticing the uncomfortable frown on their faces.

-They're the type to treat you like their partner before you guys establish it, just to mark territory for other people (and because they really want to live that fantasy). You may not be theirs fully, but they'll be damned if they let someone else get you. They don't get it at first, they fool themselves into thinking they're just being good friends that care for you too much.

-In my au where Minho experiences a bi awakening because of fem!reader or my oc Violeta/Vivi, this is all more intense and chaotic. They have a lot of trouble dealing with it because they don't know what this means for their relationship and, considering the culture they've been raised, the idea of polyamory doesn't instantly pop in their heads. They're confused and scared, because they feel they're emotionally cheating on the other and also ruining their friendship with you. This leads to several misunderstandings because they can't cope healthily, but they still insist on having you close.

-However, once they come to terms with their feelings for you and embrace, they go from shy, awkward boys to possessive, almost toxic men. They were already clingy before, not wanting you to leave them for anything or anyone, but now they don't even hide it. They're determined to have you, to show you belong with them, and can't stand seeing you with other people.

-It starts slow, you can't even notice. They're more physically affectionate, one of them or both is always touching you in some way when you're out, they refer themselves "jokingly" as your boyfriends and that's why you don't need to go on dates with someone else.

-Then it grows. Their hands now drift from their usual places at your shoulders and back to your waist. Their clinginess worsens. They make you sleep with them in the same bed, shower together like "besties" do, dressing you up because "they love seeing you in new clothes", etc. You force yourself to not think much of it because you see how perfect they are for each other and there's just no way they can feel something more for you..right?

-They're frustrated by how blind you are to their advances, but at the same time, they use it to their advantage to get away with it. The only reason you let them go this far is because you're convinced they can't like you that way and you bet they'll take it as an advantage. As long as you think it's all *overly friendly besties", you won't push them away.

-Deep down, you know something is off here but you can't help but enjoy their little acts. You're used to repressing your forbidden feelings for them to not ruin things, but when they treat you like this, you just let yourself get caught in the moment and pretend you're actually dating them.

-It all breaks down by a jealousy fit from them. The mere thought of losing you to another, for you to love someone else and let them touch you drives them mad, so they make a statement.

-By statement means they lock you in their room and spend hours teaching you not to stray away from your partners. By the end of it, your sweating, clothes tore open and there's not a single trace of skin they haven't marked. Bites, hickeys, bruises. They just let out all their anger and frustration on you.

-The aftercare and morning after is immaculate tho. They feel a bit guilty for how rough they were and make sure to treat you like a princess.

Is there any poetry that you associate with buffy/spuffy (or what type do you think she would like)?

spuffy and poetry make brain go brrrr I read this and my brain just shorted out ok so we all know Buffy likes poetry (hello scene of Buffy telling her poetry professor she has to drop it) and I think she'd be into the romantic poets, with their flowery language and depth of feeling and metaphors and I think she would read over it a lot to fully get them but the feeling they evoke is what really pulls her to them, and it's the idea of something beautiful and emotional for beauty and emotions sake that makes it such a big deal for her bc as the slayer she can't always take her time over that so doing it with poetry is a luxury and keeps her grounded

But I also think she'd like the kind of rambling free verse wonderment in everyday type style that's increasingly popular today

Basically anything that grabs her by the gut though is what I think she likes

ooo,, favorite title, huh? it’s a pretty low bar, i’m not all too great with titles,, but.. by nature, we are meant to fall apart (but who cares about that when we have each other)!! or an extreme game of chase,,, tho the former is a lot more poetic-ish,, djdjkjdi.

nope! i write exactly what i love to read — found family and miscommunications!

52 — What’s the average word count of your fics?

oh god you’re making me do math-

okay, because it’s easier than going through all my fics on tumblr to try and find the word count of each,, i’m just gonna go off of my ao3,,mdkdmdkd. and based on those six fics,, my word count is a lil less than 6k! there’s definitely a few outliers in there(cough cough by nature and risks and hugs) but that does seem pretty accurate,, dkdndkdj.

57 — How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?

uhhh- depends on the fic! sometimes there are details that i intended to put in,, and sometimes they show up completely by accident,, rkfmfkmfkd.

58 — Do you have a favorite piece of figurative language you’ve written?

i,, don’t think i do? i don’t tend to use figurative language all to much, i don’t think — at least, not consciously.

69 — What are your favorite fics at the moment?

first off, nice,, second off! hands down, this fic. i’d say the name, but i don’t want this post showing up to anyone searching it up,, dkdnkdmdkdnckxn. i absolutely love the author’s fics, they are my number one favorite author, even if they only have two fics to their name. if you’ve never read their fics before, i highly recommend doing so.

i also love absolutely anything made by prinx or shushi!!! and there’s also this other writer i absolutely adore the works of, don’t know if you’ve ever heard of them,, they go by the name puzzle? 10/10 love their fics and their art, so so good,, dkdmdkdmd.

74 — Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love?

mmm.. maybe an extreme game of chase? but specifically over on ao3 — it’s my second longest fic over there, but in hits, it’s only in the top 4 of 6, and is about the same in regards to kudos and bookmarks. and maybe also a fic over on my main, as well — yeah, it’s only really one chapter(and i still need to plan out the rest of it dkdmkdmdkd),,, but still,, dkdmkd.

78 — What motivates you during the writing process?

i absolutely love receiving comments or asks about my works! outside of the ability to put my thoughts and ideas into a physical place,, that’s the main reason i write. i love sharing my ideas, and i love receiving compliments — makes my brain go brrrr.

mmm- don’t force yourself to write! motivation comes and goes,, if you don’t take breaks, you could end up burning out.

and if you’re ever stuck in a place, usually the problem is a few sentences back — you’ve written yourself into a corner. go back, maybe ten sentences, and try to rewrite it from there.

Wanderers, Kings, Merchants by Peggy Mohan (currently reading it, it’s a linguistic history of India from the perspective of a creolist which is kind of cool)

Dune by Frank Herbert (technically rereading it, I found a used copy for $4.75 so I had to buy it)

Raven Strategem and however many other Machineries of Empire books I can get through by Yoon Ha Lee

The Silmarillon and The Adventures of Tom Bombadil by J.R.R. Tolkein (yes I’m becoming one of Those People I guess, Tolkein fans rec me books)

The Mushroom at the End of the World by Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing (was gifted to me from a person who I’d trust with my life to give good book recs, also I think some of you would enjoy it, it’s nonfiction essays)

Language History, Language Change, and Language Relationship by Hans Henrich Hock and Brian Joseph (I got it for my historical ling class a few years ago but I want to read it properly now definitely not so I can use it for conlang development)

More Baru Cormorant (by Seth Dickinson) and Wheel of Time (by Robert Jordan) probably

another adeptus in the line - zhongli [ft. xiao & ganyu]

summary; it was a very big surprise to xiao and ganyu that they would be meeting the next adeptus in line. especially when the next adeptus is a child.

genre; fluff, this is just family, i need emotional support from liyue god family, dad! zhongli, child! reader, all platonic, zhongli is a doting dad and i will die on that hill, dragon hybrid! reader, xiao is just a grumpy older brother

a/n; i hate my life, but it's fine. im currently hanging on a string, due to the fact that there's been a lot of stress recently but it's fine. I'll be fine. i got zhongli in the latest banner, everything will be fine. everyting is fine when zhongli exists 🥰

ganyu might be ooc idk, also reader is a dragon hybrid!! bc of zhongli. maybe I'll write hcs about it... brain go brrrr

age range for reader; 5-7

slight spoilers to the latest story quest? i think it's called story quest idk- i literally just mention the new boss and some of its story but i don't think it spoils too much but ehhhhhhhhh who am i to judge

zhongli had never expected to have you. or more like make you. similar to azhdaha, you were granted life by zhongli. you were granted the ability to live just like any other human. but of course a deal had to be made. you would live as a dragon hybrid human but you would grow up to be the next adeptus in line. you were bound to be granted with a vision but there was no rush. you were merely a child after all.

it was always nice walking around liyue with you. everyone in liyue had a fond look whenever you and zhongli would pass by, the male carrying you to tell you endless stories about the liyue you would come to love and protect.

"papa.." you muttered to zhongli, clutching tightly on his pants as you stood behind him. "where are we going?"

"we're going to the inn, little one, you're just gonna meet your older brother and sister. they're very nice i can assure you." he moved to pick you up and hold you against his waist. "i mean by blood they're not your siblings but that doesn't change anything. you are still family."

he enters the homely inn and heads toward the balcony, but before he could leave to the balcony, he was stopped by verr goldet.

"good afternoon zhongli, good to see you too y/n." you clumsily waved at her, too busy being more focused on the cat that laid on the desk. she had noticed where your focus was, laughing softly. "are you here to see xiao?"

"yes, is he busy?" zhongli asked.

"he's right on the rooftop. i'd just wait until he comes down but he seems like he's not coming down anytime soon."

zhongli nodded at her words, thanking her before going to find xiao. he clutched you firmly as he started to climb to the rooftop. your small hands grasped on his clothes as you watch him climb up to the rooftop with ease.

you look to see an unfamiliar male, moving to hide your face into zhongli's neck. "hello xiao." zhongli greets him, sitting next to him. the young adeptus nods at him in acknowledgement. "i would like you to meet y/n." he started to explain your story, xiao watching you with pointed eyes as you shy away from him and stick to zhongli as much as you physically can.

"they are a child."

"that is true, xiao." he patted your back, urging you to look up to meet xiao. he made you let go of him and turned you around on his lap, making you face xiao. the one thing you immediately notice is the necklace he wears. "they're very new to our world. especially if you consider our ages." zhongli was an old soul and god after all.

"shiny.." you mutter, your hands reaching out for the pretty beads that laid strewn together on xiao's neck. zhongli smiled fondly at your lack of attention onto the actual male.

"little brat." xiao mumbled as zhongli moves you to sit on xiao's lap. you look up at him with innocent beady eyes for a moment before looking down and bonking your head on his chest, feeling shy at the sudden attention from a new person. xiao hesitantly places a hand on your head, patting your hair and any stray hairs.

zhongli watches the scene before him with amused eyes. "it's nice to see you try and bond with your little sibling." he chuckled a bit as he watches you grab at xiao's necklace, much to the older adeptus' dismay. xiao tried to get your hands off the necklace, earning a tiny whine from you.

"zhongli, have you spoiled them already?" xiao takes off his necklace to let you play with it, keeping a sharp eye on you as to make sure you don't choke on anything or hurt yourself. your eyes twinkle, grabbing the necklace and looking at the large blunt arrowhead pendant.

"me? i would never." zhongli sends an innocent smile but xiao knew better. he always liked to dote on him and ganyu when given the chance, he wasn't any different with you.

"have you told ganyu about them yet?"

"ganyu has been rather busy with her duties. i haven't been able to contact her yet."

"xiao!" the two males hear a rather familiar voice, soon turning their heads towards the source to see the other adeptus, ganyu. she nearly struggled to climb the rooftop if not for zhongli offering a hand to help. "ah, hello, rex lapis.." she greeted softly.

"call me zhongli." he reminded her, making the female quickly apologize. "what have you come here for?"

"i was just gonna ask if..." she trailed off as she looked over to xiao, seeing you on his lap. you look up to see the pretty female, quickly looking away to bonk your head against xiao's chest once again. the other adeptus sighing at your antics, as zhongli watched everything unfold with a fond smile on his face. "who is this?"

"this is y/n." zhongli answered, starting to explain the contract you and him made when you were in a different form. you still stayed buried in xiao's chest, said adeptus wondering how to deal with such a shy child... or how to deal with a child in general.

ganyu went to sit in front of you and xiao, "hello y/n..." you stopped fiddling with xiao's necklace and turned to look at ganyu again. she had horns on her head like you did.

"horns...pretty" you pointed at ganyu's red horns, making the female flustered at the compliment. kids always had the blunt honesty.

"ah ah ah... don't point, little one. that's not very nice." zhongli chided softly.

"but her horns..like me.." you pressed your free hand against your own smaller horns that grew from your head. ganyu was surprised by your shining enthusiasm in finding someone like you.

"yes, she has horns like you." xiao mutters, taking his necklace back from your small hands while you were distracted. but your grip was stronger than he had thought, "give me my necklace back, little brat."

"but...i wanna play still, big brother.." you told him. unfortunately, xiao couldn't resist your plea and let you hold the necklace in your hands for a little while longer. zhongli noted that, remembering to tease him about it later.

"ah, maybe you should give it back to big brother xiao, hm? he really needs it, y/n." ganyu makes an attempt to let xiao get his necklace back. and who are you to disappoint the pretty sister? you pouted, hesitantly handing it back to xiao. "why don't you say sorry for keeping it from him for so long?"

"sorry big brother.." you fumbled on your words rather adorably. "won't do it again."

"thank you." xiao muttered as he hands you over to ganyu. "take the little demon."

"xiao! that's not very nice." ganyu said as she adjusts you to fit comfortably on her lap.

"xiao...meanie!" you pointed at him. xiao glared at you as you showed no fear to it. was xiao really gonna square up with a child? maybe. before xiao could say anything else, you reached for ganyu's horns, "big sister..."

"hm?" ganyu notices you reaching for her horns. "you want to touch them?" you nodded, moving closer. but you had moved too close and bonked your head against hers. "ah! are you okay?" she immediately asked as you blinked before bonking your forehead against hers softly, giggling happily. who would've thought that bonking was a love language for you?

"this one is gonna be a troublemaker...i just know it.." xiao gives you a pointed look as you reach out for xiao.

"wanna play with big brother! and big sister!" you send out a toothy smile, soon warming up a bit more to the two older adeptus.

zhongli merely looked at the sweet scene before him, seeing his young adeptus kids get along so well with each other despite the differences they all had. you would fit along just fine. there was nothing he would need to worry about.

CHILDREN WITH EXECUTIVE DISFUNCTION OR OTHERWISE IMMENSELY DISTRACTABLE BRAINS THAT MUST IMMEDIATELY DO THE THING

I have a small tip for you!

I am either 100% engaged, or completely unable to focus. I am either so hyperactive that it feels like ants under my skin and I can't sit still and my muscles hurt and I need to do handstands until I twist something or everything aches so much I can't keep going - or I sleep for sixteen hours a day. I either want to climb to the rooftops and accost every passerby with this FUN COOL FACT I LEARNT, or stare blankly at the things I swear I loved yesterday but can summon no enthusiasm for today. Motivation is a tempestuous mistress, none of us can can presume to tame.

Etc.

One thing that makes monkey brain go BRRRR a bit less though is giving myself permission to look at all of these things and follow up all of these thoughts - just later.

So what I do when I'm studying is write a 'distracted thoughts' list, on the next page of my document so I can't see it when I'm working. And I put everything that I want to research or tell people about or look up or do there. To clarify, this doesn't work when things are really bad - I'm not saying it'll help then. But when your brain is just being mildly irritating it has become a godsend for me.

So what does this actually look like? Here's what went on my list in thirty minutes of studying today, copied exactly:

- make exercise schedule for backbends

- look up Daiwa scholarships (really want TO)

- Greenberg grammatical concord??

- write post on Tibetan language family

- ballet music beyond Tchaikovsky

- where to learn to gloss properly?

- morpho syntactic status of particles?

- tell THE WORLD about Aurora by Kristjan Järvi

- look at Dinka, message X about it

- Kinyarwanda + Sierra Otomi - one non-linear and non-flexive and one isolating and flexive

...

You can tell immediately that some of this is stuff I'm NEVER going to do. Exercise schedule?? Great at making them, not so good at following them. Daiwa scholarship for studying in Japan for a year and a half? I HAVE NEVER LEARNT ANY JAPANESE, NOR DO I HAVE ANY CAREER PLANS INVOLVING JAPAN.

(but I know A LOT about this scholarship, for reasons that remain a mystery to me)

Some of it is vaguely useful, like all of the linguistics stuff. Kinyarwanda? I really DO need to learn more about its morphological templates, they're really cool and very sexily nonconcatenative.

Most of it, though, is stuff I'm not going to look up afterwards. I'm just not. But by writing it down and giving myself the permission to pursue those thoughts and interests, just a LITTLE later than right now, that mad crushing energy to DO IT NOW dissipates. I'm still tempted, but it's manageable.

Give it a try - it may help a little. Also, you should all drop whatever you're doing and listen to Aurora by Kristjan Järvi.

he opens the door and leaves the apartment, locks the door behind him, steels himself and walks off.

you say "boy i'm not a stalker, but i watch you when you're walking. you call all kinds of people who aren't me."

cut to girl in parx shirt cutting awsten out of a picture. she's making a creepy shrine. there is glitter. she lip syncs too, and dances while sitting down. she emotes along to the words.

"you love me in such weird ways, like when you lead me back to your place. you do it without words but don't you worry 'cause i heard everything."

fun fangirl dance/creepy scrapbooking interlude continues until she hears a noise and drops her scissors, jumps up and scrambles out of her apartment into the hallway, where awsten is.

now you're looking through the peephole on the door of my apartment

awsten fliches when the door opens. she waves excitedly. he nods and grimaces. whoever's on camera is lip syncing when it cuts to them for the rest of the video. she approaches him, but-

my panic's at the ceiling, but i'm flat down on the carpet

he darts around a corner to get away from her and hides in a closet.

you say "boy i know you're in there, and the way you tease is unfair"

she looks around for him and stamps her foot when she can't find him.

"and this ain't misery but i'd break your knees to keep you here with me"

back to awsten in the broom closet, looking scared and peeking through the keyhole

"break your knees to keep you here with me"

she storms off.

"break your knees to keep you here with me"

awsten gets out of the closet and walks away, relieved.

you freak me out so i stay in

girl is knocking insistently on awsten's door.

alone on my couch watching netflix again

he opens it, exasperated.

it's like i'm watching "You" but it's about me. and just to be clear i mean the show, you're Joe

awsten is negotiating with her, gesturing between them when he says "you" and "me." he's still mouthing the lyrics but we know from body language that he's explaining why her behaviour is crazy. exaggerated tiktok-type hand movements. (all the dialogue is lip syncing for the rest of the video)

"boy i'm not a stalker,"

she's arguing -- probably saying exactly that tbh. tilted head, bargaining gestures -- trying to convince him.

"but i watch you while you're walking"

back to awsten, rolling his eyes and being sarcastic. probably also saying that.

you call all kinds of people who aren't me

back to the girl, arguing back. she's making excuses- i'm stalking you because you see other girls!

you love me in such weird ways like when you lead me back to your place

awsten is doubling down, justifiably. looking more angry now. pointing down the hall for her to leave.

you do it without words but don't you worry 'cause i heard

she's getting angry now, increasingly desperate. we see her from behind awsten, arms flailing while he blocks her out.

now you're looking through the peephole on the door of my apartment. my panic's at the ceiling.

enraged, she pushes him. he falls backwards and hits his head on a side table. he's knocked out. she panics! (callback to the WNTT video goes brrrr)

but i'm flat down on the carpet

cut back to awsten, uh. flat down on the carpet.

you say, "boy i know you're in there, and the way you tease is unfair"

she's shaking him- awsten, speak to me!- but he's unresponsive. she's crying.

"and this ain't misery but i'd break your knees to keep you here with me" etc etc

she puts him down and glances around in a panic before dashing out the door to get help. when she's gone awsten sits up and rolls his eyes before locking the door. she rushes back towards the door when she notices and bangs on it again.

looking through the peephole on the door of my apartment

we see her through the peephole, distorted, screaming and crying.

my panic's at the ceiling, but i'm flat down on the carpet

awsten opens a coke can and sits down on his couch, picking up the remote, looking bored/generally done.

she said "boy i know you're in there and the way you tease is unfair, and this ain't misery but i'd break your knees to keep you here with me"

back to girl pitching a fit, interrupted by someone- a random karen, maybe middle-aged-dad travis from dream boy got resurrected somehow. they're arguing, and the person threatens to call the cops (subtitled?), causing her to storm off again.

the rest of the song cuts back and forth between awsten chilling, unnamed fangirl scratching the eyes out of her awsten shrine, and the band playing. which has maybe been interspersed through the whole thing, depending on how i'm feeling cause it's MY imaginary music video and i get to decide if geoff is there. the video ends with her drawing hearts around otto and smiling 😈

Before I go and talk about the headcanons. I would like to thank my good friend @peak-wilbur-dumbass for helping me create most of these “big brain” headcannon! Half are what we created, I created, and what she created :3

NUMBER 1: BIG LAW

He’s the first Tubbo Ego. So he’s technically the oldest of all the Tubbos Personality

He monotone, and he really doesn’t show that much emotion. He’s all serious and shit

Speaking of that, he only shows a bit of emotion towards some he loves (like his personality brothers)

Now he LOVES to read the law. he has books on laws, on the judgment system. Government, crime solving, being a lawyer and other lawyery book stuff.

That fucker probably has a secret stash of Domino’s cookies and won’t share them 🙄🙄

He’s also the ‘heaviest’ out of the Tubbo because he eats those cookies DGZGSGSHX

Rights?! who needs them? YOU DONT ALLOW SHIT BITCH!

TOOB: he’s annoying as hell, He hates him, he want to snap his neck, DUDE STFU AND GET AWAY FROM ME.. but he will still die for him uwu (4/10)

Dr. TB: he’s a good theropiest! Normally Big crime would go to him >or been forced by him shshsh< When he need something to calm his nerves or just wants to talk....tho their relationship has grown a bit distant after the incident that happened months ago (7/10)

Big Crime: (-10/10) AGAIN!!! HE DOES CRIME, THE OTHER DOSE THE LAW!!. But to be honest with y’all, Big Crime makes fun of Big law when ever he shows emotion. Ex:

“I thought you were all serious and shit?”

“I am tho?”

“Nah, I just saw you crying back there because you dropped your cookie on the floor”

“SHUT UP!!! IT WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT I HAVE LEFT-“

Big Law: they have a neutral type of relationship, they barely get in to any fights. He’s actually the only person that Dr.TB can fully understand/work with! (7/10)

Big Crime: now.... he used to be the person that Big crime will go to when he starts to act up.... but, they barely talk anymore dude. After what happened to Tobbox? Yeah, let’s just say Dr.TB was at the verge to end his whole Theropey job because of Big Crime :/ (4/10)

Tubbox: he loves him, he misses him, he hates Techno. He tried to be there for everyone when they lost him.... He wants to see Tubbox. His life was cut to short. Anyways... he was a bit difficult to work with for theropey (9/10)

Big Law: LOVES HIM!! HES THE ONLY PERSON THAT MAKES BIG LAW SHOW A BIT MORE EMOTION!!! And big law might say it’s annoying and he hates it... but Tubbox knows he secretly love it uwu (10/10)

BIG Crime: do I need to say more? Tubbox LOVES big Crime! he wants to see him smile more!! He wants him to be happy! So... he hangs out with Big Crime more then the other personality. (20/10)

Hello there!! Its a bit later than usual for me and im just vibing to Ranboo's stream rn :]]] but!! Its an incredibly cute idea to me that the ultimate show of trust from an hardcore player and survival player is letting them onto their hardcore world! As its letting someone into the most dangerous, but also the evidence of their survival and trusting the other to not hurt them in the home of their own making :]]] as majority of hardcore players prove their love through their actions more than anything else!! So YES the idea of philza simultaneously not being used to techno in his world but also so incredibly happy that he is there!! Philza will deny to this day that he practically chirped at techno when he arrived he was so happy sjsjsks

Philza also *might* purposely have a couple of his crows always following techno and techno know that they're philzas cause they constantly give him both presents and pester him non-stop, see the cat in the dark wood mansion incident SJSJSJS he doesn't understand the crows but his voices somehow do??? Which is just, an recipe for disaster sjsjsjsj

good afternoon hardcore anon!!! (at least it is for me) i had meant to answer this last night but brain go brrrrrr so here i am. anyway i hope you enjoyed ranboo’s stream :D

i love the idea that hardcore player’s worlds are like sacred to them and that they have to trust you a lot for them to let you into. like showing someone close to you something you have worked really hard and long on hits different if you know what i mean. we love acts of service in this household, its the love language i headcanon c!techno and c!philza to be the most partial to (though maybe gift giving a bit more for techno). but yes give philza more bird traits ty, but i love this idea that he’s just kinda very excited but also just staring at techno because he’s not used to him being there and it’s weird to see another person in his world.

adore the idea that phil had crows following techno around because it makes so much sense and i feel like if he could control the crows in this context he definitely would have them watch over people. but i love the idea that the voices can understand them and some try to translate for techno and others do it so poorly that techno knows they’re lying about what they said.

get good sleep hardcore anon!!! >:(, though i can very much relate because i wasn’t able to sleep very much until yesterday because sometimes brain go brrrr and i’m not tired. but get good sleep it is very important!!! i had an okay day yesterday but today has been pretty good, most of my teachers are very chill on fridays so that’s always nice. pls tell me about your fic! you can dm me about it if you want if you wanna not spoil anything but if that makes you uncomfy you can always just send an ask as well! i saw like role and age swap art forever ago with techno and phil and i loved it but the op only had that one art and i couldn’t find much else on it but i think it’s super interesting to play with how their dynamics are the same and different with the different roles and ages and such so yes please talk to me about it! i hope you had a good day as well, hardcore anon!
