A/n : So the ending kinda has nothing to do with haunted houses or anything, it’s just a fluffy ending I came up with… 😅🫣

"Hawks... This isn't my house." You sarcastically point out, you and Hawks stood in front of a creepy old house covered in moss, splinters and a few wood boards missing on the floor. You cringed at the sight trying to cover up the fact that you were slightly scared.

"Indeed it's not baby bird." Hawks smirks as he pats your head smoothing your hair neatly. He chuckles at your shy squirming looking down at the ground drawing circles small with your foot.

You sighed, "And why are we here exactly?" You looked towards him, with a questioning look.

"To have fun, of course! It's a spooky season, lighten up a little chickadé!" He cheers as he slightly fluffed up his feather in excitement. He swung his arm around your shoulder preventing you from escaping.

You lightly grumbled in fear of going into the haunted house, but it's not like you have a choice anyways in the matter. Hawks got you wrapped around his finger and had somehow convinced you to walk with him up to the doors of the spooky house.

'I'm so going to regret this

And so it began. The haunting memories, of your life and maybe even the best of them too.

You violently snapped your head at every small motion that was made or heard in the house, you clung to Hawks for dear life.

Literally...

You looked around for any suspicious activity or anything that might be human-like, disguise as an auto mechanic. While on the other hand, Hawks watched you in the corner of his eye, amusement written in them.

"Aww is our little (Yn) scared~" Hawks coos, as he pokes at your cheek a little, tauntingly. You grunt in annoyance. "Freaking bird brain! be quiet! Or I'll-"

As you were about to insult Hawks, you suddenly heard a squeak of the floorboard and froze in place. You shook violently and couldn't move an inch, you were so scared you avert your eyes to the floor.

So you looked down at the floor, this is why you hated haunted houses; they were scary and it's able to take you by surprise!

Hawks was on high alert, he slowly turned his head and with his peripheral view, spotted a fake spider crawling its way up to them.

He turned his head back towards your shaking figure, he wanted to take him seriously but your face was too priceless not to laugh too at and so he did, which made you angry.

"What the crap are you laughing at! Stupid bird!" You angrily shouted at him, although; that didn't irk Hawks one bit, it only made him chuckle even more.

"How are you this adorable." He stated more than questioned. You flushed up and looked up at him, astound and a bit irritated by the lack of comfort he didn't provide but, it wasn't really his responsibility to nor was he obligated to do so, and yet he did...

He wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to his chest and covered the sight in front of you, and started slowly walking you out of the haunted house.

As he was doing so, you could hear the sound of your heart beating rapidly of the closeness of his warm body, his breath near your ear softy whispering to you directions of where to step and turn.

While he had his hand on your waist his thumb cares your sides in comfort, As well as rubbing your temples of your hidden sight.

You felt like you were in heaven at that moment, you always wondered what it’d be like to be near Hawks and you finally got the excuse and chance to be close to him.

As you both were walking Hawks suddenly stopped his movements and slowly turned you towards him. He moved his hand away from your eyes and placed both of the palms of his hands upon your checks.

You flushed at how close his face was, you could feel his scent of minty breath near your lips, his eyes gaze at yours with a hint of fondness in them, gently creasing your cheeks as he rubs his nose and slowly closes his eyes.

You did the same and waited for the feel of his lips but you were met with nothing only the sudden feeling of falling back. You panicky opened your eyes and saw Hawks with a hand in his pocket and then another waving at you and smiling!!!!

You screamed in fright and closed your eyes waiting for the impact of the harsh ground, but were met with a soft feel of a cushion, bouncing you up and down. It was an airbag…

…..

“YOU MOTHER F- DAME YOU HAWKS!” You angry shout at him and he loudly laughs his ass off at the sight of you “YOUR CRAZY!” You added.

“Baby bird, you should have seen your face when you realized you were falling, it was priceless!” He laughs out loud, wiping the tears from his eyes.

You huffed and made your way off the airbag slipping off and landing your feet on the ground. You dust yourself off and crossed your arms and sighed in disappointment but, I guess that’s what you get for getting distracted thinking that he was going to kiss you…

Hawks made his way to you a cheeky smirk on his face hands in his pockets. “Aww, what’s up with that frown~” he teases,

“Shut up! It’s nothing!” You embarrassingly shouted at him, you couldn’t tell him that you were frowning at not getting a kiss! He’ll never let you live it down.

Although, the perspective jerk noticed and already figured it out without even having to think too deeply about it. He smirks and closes the gap between you two leaning down and whispering in your ear.

“Aww~ are you upset that I didn’t place my lips on yours~” You couldn’t take his teasing anymore, you turned away in embarrassment and started walking your way back to your apartment.

Hawks smugly follows you all the way there it wasn’t like it was a far distance, it was pretty close to the haunted house.

You made your way up the stair to your apartment Hawks was on your trial, he leans on a nearby wall and waited for you to unlock your door but, you stopped and turned your head towards him. “Uh Hawks, why’d you follow me?”

“I’m trying you keep you safe duh~” He smoothly answers,

“From what? A Ghost?” You sarcastically comment, at him. Hawks chuckles, he slowly walks towards you and once again closes the space between you.

You shyly watched his every move, he placed his arm above your head leaning in towards you. His eyes gaze at yours adoring having you with him.

“Good night Dove, See you tomorrow.” He says, Hawks unexpectedly softy kisses your cheek and walked and flew out of a near window.

You quickly made your way towards the window, watching him leave you but knowing you’ll be able to see each other again. “Good Night!... Handsome.” You whisper the handsome part to yourself watching him fly back home.

You smiled to yourself, Maybe hunted houses weren’t so bad after all.

To you, it felt like a haunted wonderland that only you and Hawks will remember and will never share or tell anyone that precious moment

hi everyone! I decided to host a collab as celebration for hitting another massive milestone since the last time i celebrated one was all the way back in 2021 when i hit 1k followers! (million thanks and kisses to everyone who followed me and enjoys my writing!)

the theme of this collab is losing a bet. What does that mean? Whatever you want as long as someone loses a bet! Did you make a bet with Gojo which you lost and now you have to be his personal assistant for a whole week? Or maybe Leon lost a bet and now has to make you cum using his fingers only! you can write for: any character from any fandom you want, be it an anime, manga exclusive or videogame character!

for the nsfw works, the characters must be canonically 18+ or aged up to 18+

dark content is accepted as long as the work is tagged properly and the content is placed under the 'read more' option

KATSUKI BAKUGO:

- katsuki knows. he's read it all. mutual pining, enemies to lovers, amnesia fics, fairytale aus, soulmate aus... name it and he's read them at least once. behind your back of course. simply because he’d be too embarrassed to even admit it anyway.

- he’s secretly a hopeless romantic. it's a cute quirk of his that he doesn't want anyone else to know and has become one of the qualities that you absolutely adore about him. his mother's fascination for rom-coms and romance novels (which, according to him, he had to "suffer" through when he was a kid) fueled his hidden interest in shoujo mangas.

- he reads them because of the beautiful art and the "cool and bad-ass" male love interests that he wants to portray in real life to impress you. but alas, your man just outright exposes himself when you catch him reading Ouran High School Host Club and My Little Monster, two manga series that feature adorkable and care-free male protagonists whom are the exact opposite of everything your boyfriend stands for.

- and so, romance fics are not a foreign concept to him. he's especially interested in mafia aus because he is absolutely enthralled over the fact that people headcanon him as a sexy mafia boss or in royal aus, where he’s this hot and bad-ass king of a prosperous kingdom. you bet he reads them at 3 in the morning on AO3 with his phone's brightness on the low. sometimes, he tries to sniff away his tears because how are these writers able to write him damn good? it’s the ✨characterization and hurt/comfort for bakugo ✨

SHOTO TODOROKI:

- your icy-hot cutie has absolutely no idea what fanfictions are. in fact, he doesn’t even know how (y/n)/reader-insert fics even work or how you’re supposed to read them.

- fanfiction is a very foreign concept to him. well, it isn’t necessarily your traditional book or novel that you can find on your shelf or in the bookstore like harry potter or percy jackson, so you understood his naivete on this particular subject very well. when you introduced shoto to the concept of fanfiction and it’s online community however, it was as if he had opened the doors to a new world.

- “what does (y/n) mean?” he innocently asks one time. (oh god he’s truly a pure and sweet cinnamon roll who could do nothing wrong in this world.) “it means your name.” you reply promptly, quietly giggling at your boyfriend’s curiosity.

“oh... so should i read it like this? shoto gazed into shoto’s heterochromatic eyes..?”

“shoto babe, t-that’s... not how you read it love.”

- shoto is a fluff connoisseur through and through. baby fics, friends to lovers, sharing a bed, and coffee shop aus are some of his all-time faves. he likes to read fics that are easier to understand and read ones that can bring a quick smile to his face. but, there are times when he gets too invested. one of those times was when he became a little too immersed into a 50k word angst fic (a genre he barely reads by the way) and his pretty eyes are so glued to the screen that when he finished it, he spent half of the entire day being consoled by you because of how emotionally hurt and affected he was. that fic truly made an impact on him and it was going to take a long time before he could gain the courage to read another one soon.

IZUKU MIDORIYA:

- you’ve always known how bookish izuku is from the very beginning. how observant he is, how he tends to ramble and talk about things passionately and in detail are truly some of the traits of someone who reads a lot. it’s no surprise though. izuku is quite a nerd and a fanboy, so him reading stories online about All Might or of superheroes he sees on movies and comic books were not far off.

- in fact, he reads the fics with you. it’s like having a little ol’ book club but only you and your seaweed-haired boyfriend were the only members. magic aus, cross-overs, canon divergence, historical aus, or just anything story-heavy and detailed are his most read. slow burn fics is also where it's ar for him! what’s even better is that you read some of these long ones with him sometimes and its cute to see him so immersed and you just want to pinch his cheeks.

- izu’s really into reading multi-chapter fics. one that can rival actual existing books and novellas. 50k words? that wasn’t a challenge for him. he’d read through everything and he’d ponder over them right after. discussing them with you and just a lot of cute little rambles coming from him that make you fall for him even more.

- when izuku finally gathered the courage to read self-insert fics of him, his flustered expression and shy composure had no end. he was blushing all through out when he read his first drabble (which was only composed of 300 words by the way) because he’s so in awe and so grateful over the fact that people write stories about him and now, it feels like he's part of those same famous people and characters he used to read stories of.

"I'm home!"

You perked up from your spot in bed, hearing the soft footsteps that made its way towards your bedroom.

The door creaked open, Tsukishima sticking his head inside quietly as if to assess whether or not you were awake. When his golden eyes settled on yours, his features softened. He opened the door completely and stepped inside, making his way over to the bed.

You were still laying down, hugging the covers to your body, exhaustion clearly written across your face.

Tsukishima sat down on the side of the bed, running a hand through your hair.

"You look like crap," he said.

You frowned before pouting, sticking her tongue out at him and swatting his hand away.

"You just got here, and you're already being mean to me?" you grumbled.

He chuckled and tugged the blanket out of your grasp and letting his lanky form get into the bed next to you.

You laid down on your back and he rested his head in the space between your chest and neck, his hair tickling your chin. You giggled as he wiggled closer, and you turned onto your side towards him. You wrapped your arms around his shoulder, and let one of your hands find a place in his blond hair.

"I told you that you wouldn't like hosting your little girls' week here," Tsukishima muttered, his voice causing vibrations across your body that felt funny.

"I didn't hate it," you argued back, twirling a piece of his hair in your pointer finger. "It was just tiring."

"Yeah, because you can barely handle that much social interaction without pushing yourself past zero," he scoffed, as if the statement had been common knowledge. "You don't exactly like sleepovers. You hate it when you can't go to bed when you want to or when people talk to you late at night."

"I live with you and deal with that nightly," you countered.

He scoffed again, wrapping tight arms around your waist.

"I'm different," he grumbled.

"Oh yeah?" you teased, a smile on your face. "How so?"

"You love me," he said so quietly that you almost didn't hear.

"I love Yachi and Kiyoko as well," you added. "So, what makes you specifically different?"

"You're in love with me," he said. "And plus, me staying here with you is different because you don't have to play host. If you want to go to bed, we go to bed. If you want to talk, we talk. If you're done for the night, but I want to do things, we don't have to do them together."

"Hm," you hummed, liking his answer. "And how do you know I don't like sleepovers?"

"Remember training camps or when we'd have overnight trips back in high school?" he asked, and you nodded. "You'd always be just a little bit less perky during them, and you were cranky by the last day."

"Oh, so you do have a heart and pay attention to me!" you teased, ruffling his hair. "How cute."

"Shut up," he said, tightening his grip on you. "Now, never kick me out of our house for a week again. That was way too much time spent with Tadashi."

"Sounds like I'm not the only one who has an energy bar on low."

"You're probably tired, right? Go to bed already."

"You just hate that I'm right."

"Go. To. Bed."

SUGAWARA KŌSHI

You knocked on Sugawara's apartment door, wanting nothing more than to curl up next to him after a three day weekend with your friends. While you were tempted to just go to your own apartment and get some rest, you also wanted to see him and hear about how his weekend had gone.

The gray haired boy opened his door with surprised eyes that were quickly covered with a smile, and he stepped aside to let you in.

"How was your trip?" he asked, taking your luggage from you and placing it against the wall in his living room. "Want to take a nap?"

"A nap sounds wonderful," you smiled, liking that he was thinking the same as you.

"Okay, go ahead and lay down. I have some papers I need to grade."

He made his way to his dining room table, where he had papers laid down on top with his laptop open.

"Oh," you said, pausing. "I can wait until you're done."

"Nonsense," he shook his head. "I know your energy bar has got to be on low, so I'll join you in about an hour, okay?"

"I want to hear about your weekend, Kō," you said to him, walking behind him and wrapping your arms around him behind.

"And you will," he said, patting your hands. "After your nap."

THE HEARTBREAK PRINCESS [ BOOK 1 ] MASTERLIST

the masterlist for my original book, THE HEARTBREAK PRINCESS, which is book 1 in my FOUNDERS' COUNCIL CHRONICLES

SYNOPSIS

Book one of the FOUNDER'S COUNCIL CHRONICLES, THE HEARTBREAK PRINCESS follows the Kingdom of Estrelya's crown princess, Lorelai Bituin, and her fellow princes and princesses from the other five kingdoms in the land. Lorelai, who is seventeen, continually rejects her parents' suggestions to allow someone to court her, and diverts her attention to more important things: like the Three Queens' Ball honoring the alliance between their kingdom, the Kingdom of Chantara, and the Kingdom of Callen. The ball happens once a decade, and it was Estrelya's turn to host. Lorelai, alongside the heirs of Callen and Chantara, oversee the arrangements for the ball.
