I’m not saying that a lot of Regulus fans are only interested in him because they picture him as a Timothee Chalamet insert and wouldn’t give half a fuck about the character if that fancast didn’t exist but… oh wait that is what I’m saying.

yeah i mean. i definitely think there's something in that lol honestly. as ive said before i never really got the interest in regulus i just couldnt care less about the guy he genuinely has zero canon character but. simultaneously i can see how the little that we do know about him makes him an interesting character and i can see why people enjoy the idea of him as a blank slate that you can superimpose nearly any traits you want on to--treating regulus as essentially an oc gives you lots of room for creation. its for these exact reasons that he is of no interest to me personally, and i really don't like the common conceptualisation of him that has emerged from popular headcanon consensus (especially when it involves stripping his character of all agency and half the things that could arguably make him compelling in order to gloss over the fact that he was a death eater) but thats a matter of opinion i suppose. thats a me problem. its just not my cup of tea.

the timothee chalamet thing irritates me for the same reason the ridiculous instagram model/influencer/celebrity fancasts for most characters irritate me, because one of the ONLY things we know about regulus is that he is 'less handsome than sirius'. like ok why not work with that. especially with a character like him where there is virtually nothing to work with. like please explain to me why you refuse to accept that im genuinely curious. why is that the aspect of his character you are so firmly refuting lol.

all in all, if the character is only likeable or interesting or a convincing love interest if you have to pretend they were actually super conventionally attractive, maybe they're just not that likeable or interesting or well-suited to the character you're trying to pair them off with. its a personal thing again i am just not interested in reading/writing about a cast of characters who are all meticulously tailored to conform to beauty standards i do not respect. the minute u try to convince me all your characters are super hot n yassified it all feels less real to me sorry i care less about them. im bored of hot characters i think all fictional characters should be made to look like normal everyday people and i think everyone should be less afraid of so-called ugliness i triple dog dare u

content : one day at school, those six eyes catch you spying through the gap in the door, and from that moment on gojo satoru grows fascinated with you. he just has to introduce himself to you. he doesn't care about the whispers around him and just falls right in love. unfortunately, his parents frown upon you two being together, and they try their best to pry the two of you apart.

he picks up fragments of your voice. it gives him... butterflies, for the first time he understands what it means to have butterflies in one's stomach.

"...ah, don't tease me...!"

he blinks his pretty eyes and listens to you.

girls snicker in secret about you. rumors spread that you forwardly introduced yourself to gojo.

his yell is so piercing and raw that it makes his mother drop into her seat. the guests have mixed looks.

the backlash he receives for lashing out and denouncing his arranged marriage is severe. the scowling looks he receives are not nearly as bad as the ones you receive. unkind words is putting it lightly; the whole village and school turns against you. they still view gojo as the star child of his clan, but now as a star that has strayed from its rightful place in the sky.

he meets with you in secret. what begins as a tearful explanation and angsty bunch of confessions to hidden truths, turns into a steamy make out.

"What happened?" Aaron asks, pulling your attention back to him, and you're slightly relieved he doesn't go for 'Are you alright?'. Clearly, you're not.

"Uh," You sniffle, chuckling dryly, "Bad breakup. Just- getting some tissues, that's all."

"Oh." He hums, hand loosening on your cart, "I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Um," You glance around the store, knowing not many people are there, but it would still be weird to open up a therapy session in the TP aisle, "No, it's okay. Thank you, though. Really, I appreciate it."

"Okay," Aaron nods, though none of the concern has left his expression, "But if you'd like to some other time, please remember I'm here if you need me. Even if it's late, if you need help I'll give it to you."

His sincerity brings a fresh wave of tears to your eyes that he smiles sadly at, and you smear a hand over your eyes to get rid of them, "Thanks, Hotch."

"Mhm," He hums, looking ready to let you go until his son hooks a chubby fist into his shirt.

"Hm?" Aaron looks down, and leans his head next to Jack's when the little boy tugs him closer.

They huddle for a moment, Jack whispering into Aaron's ear, and the man's hand tightens around your cart once more. Just when you thought you'd escaped.

"I think you should." Aaron nods, straightening up, glancing over, and nodding his head towards you, "Go ahead, buddy."

Jack looks up at you with that same hint of apprehension you'd seen earlier, but he digs a fist into his popcorn bucket and extends the hand to you. You actually feel your heart melting, the organ liquifying and dripping through your ribcage to pool like goo in your stomach.

Tawnypelt: GIRLS WHO HATE THEIR FATHERS. The erins dont love her like I do.

Tallstar: I love old men… I fucking love seeing older characters and how much they’ve changed from their younger selves. Tallstar is considered one of, if not the most peaceful leader in the clans. But also when he was like 19 he went on a quest to fucking murder a guy :3

Cloudstar: I rlly do not care abt anyone in Skyclan(I like Leafstar but she's not a fav yknow?) Cloudstar... he was based as fuck. Why did Starclan get away with this shit for real??

You have to pretend your lover is a stranger. You… have become strangers. You can never be together again. You're enemies now. This is what we wanted, isn’t it? …We’ll never be happy again.

Mothwing: Her novella delving into her relationship with Hawkfrost was so good and heartbreaking.

Heathertail: Daughter of leader, sister of a major villian, and former love interest of a protagonist! Why did she fall off the second po3 ended. She’s shown to be very compassionate and willing to put her own feelings aside for the sake of others. Would’ve honestly prefered her as a mate to Lionblaze or get a pov herself over the nothing we got.

Blackstar: *Murders an elderly woman trying to stop me from kidnapping children. Supports a dictator openly abusing/neglecting children and the elderly. Murders a man for refusing to kill mixed raced children- then tells said man’s sister that she will never be safe.* Man…. i sure do feel bad for abusing and killing all of those people…. Good thing I will face no consequences and proceed to be made leader, where I will have even more power over the wellbeing of others.

I hate. This guy.

They’ve always thought of eachother since but never met again.

Tigerclaw: My name sake<3 The angst of his earlier life is so, so facinating to me. Starclan being straight fucked up and decided killing him is their only option? He was a kid and they saw him as a lost cause from the start. They never tried any other methods, never tried to steer him in the right direction or… even just take it into their own hands and kill him themself, which they have SHOWN they’re capable of.

They watched all the the horrific crimes he commited, entirely aware they were going to happen. Thats. Fucking. Horrifying. Starclan is scary as shit… and his death? FANTASTIC. I only wish he’d gotten lives from cats he killed so that him coming back to life to suffer over and over was an actual curse from Starclan and not blessings. They knew how he would die and they gave him the lives to torture him for his sins…

Flywhisker: Adhd girlies. Painfully relate to that feeling of the constant scolding for never being “good enough” because I prefer to do things a certain way or struggle to focus. So, SO happy for her when she left the clans! You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone! Hope she’s happy and warm indoors with her brother💕

Bluestar: Get behind me women with mental disorders. I will defend you. Beautifully complex and tragic character, my favorite written in the series. Literally can't think of a single other female character in handled as seriously and with the complexity of Bluestar. (Although her super edition was a bit of an L with how others treated her, it ultimately makes her breakdown even more painful.)

Exile from Shaodwclan: Nightstar my beloved! He's such a great guy. The rightful leader of Shadowclan, always and forever.

Ravenpaw's Farewell: HE DIED IN BARLEY'S ARMS, TELLING HIM HE WILL FIND HIM, NO MATTER WHERE HE IS. FUCK.

Leopardstar: As a kid I hated her and loved Blackfoot, now I hate Blackfoot and love her. #feminism. But seriously I think she has way more going for her than he ever has. Her father is a medicine cat who hates violence, the DRASTIC change in Riverclan's view of outsiders upon Crookedstar's death and her leadership. Her already having a position of power before proving she's unworthy of it. (Unlike Blackstar who gets rewarded for his racism and violence by being made leader afterwards) and the fact she has to interact with her victims on a daily basis after what she did.

The writings attempts to redeem her are really lame and dismissive of the actually damage she did, but at the very least they TRIED to do something else with her. Personally, I would have loved to see her assassinated by Mistyfoot. Just like her mother Bluestar was almost killed all those moons ago by Tigerclaw... The parallels of violence for power and violence for peace. A victim repeating the actions of the very man who killed her brother to put an end to what he started in Riverclan.... A shadow in Riverclan, if you will. (<-Pretending erin hunter has hired me to rewrite their series)

Windclan: Tunneling as a concept and inviting outsiders into their clan so friendly and casual makes the clan seems so much more diverse than the others. It always stuck out to me!

i would literally kill for headcannons about the AOT boys’ (and girls and Hange too tbh) preferences in women atm, and written by you because your headcannons actually make me cackle out loud, and are so well-written and profoundly accurate. i’m feeling introspective like… who would really be into what traits? what shit actually captivates and attracts them? what little quirks allow someone to catch their eye? you seem to have such a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the characters so i thought i’d ask if that’s something you’d be interested in writing about<3

how fun!!!! here are a few thoughts on the matter…of course all personality and character traits, no physical ones :)

eren likes a s/o who’s a lil crazy LOL he likes spontaneity and fearlessness….he likes when someone is quick to say yes to new things or has a crazy story to tell at a party—he’s automatically pulled in by extroverted people. you tell him about how you pierced your own ear once or gave urself a stick and poke tattoo and he is horny on the spot

armin likes a s/o who’s a bit snippy, a bit dominant—he likes someone who knows what they want and isn’t afraid to fight for their own fairness. likes when someone keeps him on his toes with their quickness and brashness. ur at a party and someone accidentally bumps into him and doesn’t say sorry and you go right up to them like “you hit him, you owe him an apology” and he has to mentally muster up all of his strength not to get hard LOL

mikasa likes a gentle s/o, maybe a bit soft spoken and dreamy (kinda like her) who is very protective of and attentive to her. she’s used to being the giver—being the one to fill others cups with her own empty pot. when you put her first, above others and yourself (like she has done her whole entire life), she feels like it’s too good to be true. she loves someone who can prove that doting doesn’t have to mean weak—you can be sweet and salty, soft and driven

similar to armin, jean likes a s/o who’s a little mean LMFAOOO not like actually mean but he just loves to be walked like a dog. he loves a s/o that can “wear the pants in the relationship” and he can just sit back and be like wow...thats hot LOL. loves someone who can hold their own, as well as his own (even tho they dont have to be any means, he just thinks its attractive) he’s always been second choice so he loves someone standing up for him. someone hits on him and ur like “he’s my boyfriend :) do you not have fucking eyes?” and he’s literally mind body and soul all yours in that moment LOL. he admires someone who is straightforward and a bit aggressive with what they want/like

connie likes someone who can match his energy while simultaneously looking out for him and making sure he’s not being stupid lmfao. he loves someone who is willing try new things with him or express interest in something that he likes! but then when he gets a bit too into it and is about to make a bad decision, he appreciates when you hold him back. hes like “lets go out to the bar and see some friends tonight!” and ur like “yes! how fun!” and then you get there and hes like “i am gonna get so drunk, bartender gimme a round of shots!” and ur like “no, you have work tomorrow” and hes all “🫡🫡🫡 yes boss” he just loves to trust you blindly, his fav thing about you is knowing that you always do whats best for him

sasha likes someone who is patient. patience and kindness are so important to her!!!! she always tries to put her best foot forward and be kind to all without reasoning, so when her s/o does the same thing to her???? shes folding. shes often overlooked for being “slow” or “stupid” so when you praise her and treat her with respect, or take a moment to explain something to her instead of overlooking it, she appreciates that so so so so much. she is so attracted to someone who is genuine and caring and communicative....she loves to repay you for all you do (esp in the bedroom, shes a giver ;P )

hange is attracted to responsibility and stability. they need a s/o who will remind them to eat, go to bed, shower, etc. they love knowing that someone is looking out for their best interest, that they are someone’s first priority in a way as sweet and intimidate as domestic little errands or chores. they like someone who is attentive and observant—someone who remembers the little details of their tangents and asks them to further elaborate on something that intrigued them. hange loves effort

levi likes a clingy s/o….yes i think he’s overwhelmed at first bc he’s not used to receiving attention and openly accepting love in forms of physical or verbal affirmations…but once he experiences it, he’s addicted. he loves a s/o who always wants to be around him, touching him, resting on him, always near and with him in some capacity. he likes the permanence of a life long commitment to someone. he is so so so incredibly attracted to loyalty…the thought of you choosing him to spend the rest of your life with makes him literally feral

the hospital is exhausting. dazai knew this well enough so he ensured that he always got you home as swiftly as possible. though he wasn’t a doctor, he thinks it’d be much better for you to recover in the safeness and coziness of his arms than back there.

you opened the door, relieved to finally be back, when you noticed a familiar, delicious smell permeate the room.

cookies, no stranger to you. you loved to bake them and dazai loved to snack on them. you even had your own recipe that promised the best cookies to your taste.

however, you were caught off guard despite the common aroma because you hadn’t been home. you walked into the kitchen, the smell of freshly-baked cookies getting stronger.

dazai wasn’t the best cook. he could make basic dishes if he had to, but he preferred your food above all. so he seldom created anything for fun.

but your special recipe on the counter and baking tray of cookies answered the question for you. and you could see the effort that shone through in his baking. they almost looked as perfect as yours.

“i tried making these to celebrate you getting through this,” dazai said from behind, resting his head on your shoulder. “and also because i missed your presence. the kitchen didn’t smell of vanilla or sweetness.” he gave you a kiss on the cheek.

“thankfully, i got the place to smell like you! and not like something burned down.”

Hell yea i do!! This got a little long :)

These funky little dudes have the coolest morphology, something theyre well known for. They can be pretty tiny (0.4 cm) or surprisingly large (60 cm) and generally live in the tropics, though there are certainly a wide variety that live in cooler ocean water as well. Some of the more well known species are very eye catching, like the Jorunna Parva (Bunny slug) or Glaucus Atlanticus

Some of them look like funky leaves and some of them look like slugs we see on the surface too! (Did you know licking banana slugs that you find on land makes your tongue go numb? 10/10 not recommended but i was a dumb kid)

They also come in a goth or clown variant for those that are looking to fit a certain aesthetic :)

Theres two kinds of nudibranchs. Dorids, which breathe from a central plume of gills above their ass, and Aeolids, which breathe from a collection of spiky protrusions called cerata. There are a couple more distinguishing features relating to their digestive tracts and mantles (or lack thereof), but this is the easiest way to tell them apart in my opinion!

Theyre also carnivorous! These guys will eat a wide variety of stuff, including sponges, coral, barnacles, anemones, and even other nudibranchs and their eggs.

There are a couple species that have some pretty cool diets, like the Glaucus Atlantica, which preys on the portugese man of war and other siphonophores. It can eat the man of war whole if theyre small enough, but will also just eat the tentacles if theyre too big.
