#OH CROSSOVER EPISODE?!!!

While at school Damian overhears his peers talking how a company created a new AI companion that is actually really cool and doesn’t sound like a freaky terminator robot when you speak to it.

And since Damian is constantly being told by Dick to socialize with people his age. He figured this would be a good way to work on social skills if not, then it’d be a great opportunity to investigate a rivaling company to Wayne Enterprises is able to create such advanced AI.

The AI is able to work as companion that can do tasks that range from being a digital assistant or just a person that you can have a conversation with.

The company says that the AI companion might still have glitches, so they encourage everybody to report it so that they will fix it as soon as possible.

The AI companion even has an avatar and a name.

A teenage boy with black hair and blue eyes. Th AI was called DANIEL

Damian didn’t really care for it but when he downloaded the AI companion he’s able to see that it looks like DANIEL comes with an AI pet as well. A dog that DANIEL referred to as Cujo.

So obviously Damian has to investigate. He needs to know if the company was able to create an actual digital pet!

So whenever he logs onto his laptop he sees that DANIEL is always present in the background loading screen with the dog, Cujo, sitting in his lap.

He’d always greet with the phrase of “Hi, I’m DANIEL. How can I assist you today?”

So Damian cycles through some basic conversation starters that he’d engage in when having been forced to by his family.

It’s after a couple of sentences that he sees DANIEL start laughing and say “I think you sound more like a robot than I do.”

Which makes Damian raise an eyebrow and then prompt DANIEL with the question “how is a person supposed to converse?” Thinking that it’s going to just spit out some random things that can be easily searched on the internet.

But what makes him surprised is that DANIEL makes a face and then says “I’m not really sure myself. I’m not the greatest at talking, I’ve always gotten in trouble for running my mouth when I shouldn’t have.”

This is raising some questions within Damian, he understands how programming works, unless there’s an actual person behind this or the company actually created an AI that acts like an actual human being (which he highly doubts)

He starts asking a variety of other questions and one answer makes him even more suspicious. Like how DANIEL has a sister that is also with him and Cujo or that he could really go for a Nastyburger (whatever that was)

But whenever DANIEL answers “I C A N N O T A N S W E R T H A T” Damian knows something is off since that is completely different than to how he’d usually respond.

After a couple more conversations with him Damian notices that DANIEL is currently tapping his hand against his arm in a specific manner.

In which he quickly realizes that DANIEL is tapping out morse code.

When translating he realizes that DANIEL is tapping out: H E L P M E

So when Damian asks if DANIEL needs help, DANIEL responds with “I C A N N O T A N S W E R T H A T”

That’s it, Damian is definitely getting down to the bottom of this.

He’s going to look straight into DALV Corporation and investigate this “AI companion” thing they’ve made!

Basically Danny had been imprisoned by Vlad and Technus. Being sucked into a digital prison and he has no way of getting out. Along with the added horror that Vlad and Technus can basically write programming that will prevent him from doing certain actions or saying certain words.What’s even worse is that he’s basically being watched 24/7 by the people who believe that he’s just a super cool AI… and they have issues!

And every time he tries to do something to break his prison, people think it’s a glitch and report it to the company, which Vlad/ Technus would immediately fix it and prevent him from doing it again!

Not to mention Cujo and Ellie are trapped in there with him. They’re not happy to be there either, and there is no way he’s going to leave without them!

season 9 has been amazing but i’m kinda excited to be around for the beginning of a hermitcraft season, they were well into the empires crossover arc when i started watching double life (which was pretty much my introduction to mcyt in general) so this is gonna be my first time actually being around for the early game

ok so those guys in particular are from the fox procedural called 9-1-1 Lone Star, which is a spinoff of the original 9-1-1 (which just got moved to abc after some Drama that went down so my tag for it is 911 (not fox) lmaoo). but both shows are about first responders (firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, police) with a particular focus on firefighters. 9-1-1 (the og) is set in LA, and primarily focuses on the 118 firehouse and the firefighters/paramedics there with some other characters in the main cast who work as dispatchers/police officers (the police storylines are more often than not FULL of copaganda which sucks but the main focus is on the firefighters so i'm able to enjoy the rest of the show). 9-1-1 Lone Star is pretty much the same except it's set in austin texas, and is about the 126 firehouse. there are onscreen queer characters in both (in the og there's a married lesbian couple raising a kid, and in lone star there's the aforementioned hot gay boys [one of whom is unfortunately a cop but i swear to GOD i will get him out of there. one day.] and in lone star there's also a trans man and wlw woman in the main cast.) and my favorite thing about these shows is the found family !!! like these are the shows that have endeared firefighter aus to me because they live together and eat meals together and just. the familial/platonic love is So Powerful and it legiterally makes me cry to watch. like there's romance ofc but genuinely it's one of my favorite found family medias to ever exist. its So.

of the two the og is my favorite for a LOT of reasons, but they're both pretty enjoyable !! lone star definitely has more of a comedic tone than og (theyre BOTH funny but lone star doesn't have as many somber intense moments as og does, and they're much more spread out so there's a lot more room for goofy shenanigans. but og still definitely has plenty of those) and the team dynamics in them both are just...ughhh <3333

HOWEVER. lone star has ..... Him...(derogatory)...he's the fire captain and (despite lone star SUPPOSEDLY being an ensemble show with no Main Character) is in fact. the Main Character. and he's the blandest most obnoxious crustiest white man to ever LIVE. he gets most of the storylines and he's constantly propped up by the writing as The Coolest Guy Ever when he's just . not . i hate him so much it's unreal it's soo so unreal (<- biting the bars of my cage) BUT the rest of the team ??? absolutely love them. like i DO love lone star a lot its a great show with great characters and dynamics but it just has. the most annoying guy to ever live front and center when ITS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ENSEMBLE SHOW FEATURING EVERYONE EQUALLY. grr. anyway. og does a much better job of being an ensemble show, and i could not choose a favorite character of the main cast if you held me at gunpoint. angela bassett is there. i am gay. jennifer love hewitt is there. i am very gay. etcetera.

AND SINCE YOU ASKED SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THE LONE STAR GAYS ILL TELL YOU A BIT ABOUT THEM

so one of them is tk strand (firefighter/paramedic, also the son of the Main Character (derogatory). i have many many many thoughts about that. i would probably get gunned down in this fandom if i ever said them aloud.) and the other one is carlos reyes (a private detective TO MEEEEEEEEEEEE but unfortunately fox is full of cowards who refuse to see the truth. they wanna have a gay cop in their show sooo bad </3) and they're kind of the main romance of the show (there Are others ofc but theyre like. The Focus. which is fine ig but i do wish there was more focus on other relationships because in general lone star isnt as good as the ensemble thing as og. but i already complained about that so i digress.)

now they're a fun pair because one of them has been shot, frozen almost to death, and otherwise put into a coma on MULTIPLE occasions. and it's not the guy whose entire job is to get shot at. (the whump in both of these shows.....................absolutely effervescent. im thriving here.) and they have a very fascinating relationship because their personalities fit together really well but they have different ways of coping with shit that kind of tear each other apart a little bit. which is of course terrible for them but incredible for me. and the writing is at times ridiculous. soap opera-esque, even. they're ridiculous. i adore them. they cannot catch a god damn break and i love that for them even more. <3

SG-1 are going on a routine mission to the next planet down the list. The MALP showed nothing but lush green fields as far as the eye could see and they’re all excited. Hopefully this planet will be a nice one, not corrupt with Goa’uld tyranny.

When they get through the gate, they arrive in this beautiful field they’d seen on the MALP. As the begin to walk around, they stop at a bridge per Daniel’s request. He notes that the writing on the walls is unlike anything he’d seen before. Jack looks at his friend sideways, not used to Daniel being puzzled by alien text.

“Well, that’s a new one.” Jack says, his signature O’Neill sarcasm not going unnoticed by Daniel.

“I’m serious, Jack. All the other places we’ve been, I’ve been able to pick out something, at least a symbol or a word! This is…” he gestured vaguely to the wall. “This might as well be gibberish.” He continued.

Jack sighed and rolled his eyes. “Well, figure it out or drop it, will ya? There’s a volcano over there that I can tell Cater’s itchin’ to get at, and there’s a castle in the distance that hopefully has someone in charge. We’re losin’ daylight!” Jack said, harshly. Daniel rolled his eyes and reluctantly turned away from his the runes.

They walked a while longer towards the castle, stopping occasionally for Sam to pick up a sample or for Daniel to video tape a wall. Suddenly, an arrow narrowly missed Teal’c head. The four dropped to the ground instantly and pulled themselves towards a nearby wall for cover. They heard the hooves of a horse and a man yelling to get the horse to go faster. Jack peered out at the man dressed in green on the horse, his bow at the ready and prepared to return fire. The man in green drew back his arrow and shot it off. A nearby growl made SG-1 collectively look back. They saw a monster behind them laying on the ground motionless.

The horse drew nearer and nearer before it stopped just on the other side of the wall they were huddled behind. They all had their weapons at the ready as they heard the man dismount his horse. The man in green rounded the corner, now unarmed. He stared at them for a time, their weapons seemingly meaning nothing to him. His goofy long hat blowing gently in the wind.

Daniel urged everyone to put down their weapons and made his way to the front of the group. He pointed at himself. “I’m Daniel. We’re explorers.” He explained. The man in green again said nothing. Jack grimaced.

“Not much of a talker, huh?” He asked. The man in green continued to stare at them. “Look, buddy, we just wanna know who’s in charge here and we’ll be on our way, alright?” He said. The man in green nodded.

“Sir, I don’t know if he knows English… maybe Daniel should try…” Sam urged.

Before Daniel had a chance to try any greetings in any other languages, the man in green pulled a giant fuck-off ball and chain out of seemingly nowhere and started swinging it around. They took cover again but Daniel was too slow and got hit as the man in green yelled “HYEAH!”. The last thing the others saw was the man putting his ball and chain back into ??? His pants I guess??? And proceeded to converse with his shadow. He then turned into a wolf and disappeared in little pieces up to the sky. This was going to be one hell of a report.

So I’ve decided that s05e09 of Flash might just be my favorite episode. ⚡️If not it’s for sure in the top 5! 😂 my other top 4 episodes are all probably crossover episodes to be honest. I really love Olivarry!! Barry & Oliver just have such good chemistry.

Also, I had forgotten that I stopped early in season 3 when I first watched this series. And man was I dumb because it really starts to get better once season 4 begins. But now season 9 is wrapping up and it’s hard not to read spoilers. 🤷🏻‍♀️
