No, don't ask me if I love you
Cause I'm sure as the night is long
And don't ask me if I need you
Cause I'm sure that the time will come
Oh, oh
Hey, baby, this is who I am
I shouldn't have to say it for you to understand
Cause you already got me in the palm of your hand
Just wait a couple lifetimes and ask me again
Oh-oh-oh ay
Oh-oh-oh ay
No I do oh-oh ay
Oh-oh-oh ay
No don't ask me if I love you
Cause I'm sure
As the day is gone
And don't ask me if I stay true
When you know you're the only one
Oh, oh
Hey, baby, this is who I am
I shouldn't have to say it for you to understand
Cause you already got me in the palm of your hand
Just wait a couple lifetimes and ask me again
Oh-oh-oh ay
Oh-oh-oh ay
No I do oh-oh ay
Oh-oh-oh ay

Elon Musk, the billionaire who was forced against his will to buy Xitter because of his big mouth, is showing the world just how radicalized he has become, according to a new analysis by CNN's Oliver Darcy. In a contentious interview with Don Lemon released on Monday, Musk equated content moderation with censorship, bashed the press, assailed DEI programs without evidence, and gave credence to the racist "Great Replacement" theory.
As Darcy writes, "To those not fluent in the intricacies of right-wing media, some of what Musk said may have sounded bizarre or even foreign. But in the right-wing fever swamps, where Musk is now deeply entrenched, these are the issues that animate the masses."
The interview capped off a 72-hour posting spree on X in which Musk raged against the "woke mind virus", accused the media of bias and lying, and argued that "if there is not a 'red wave' in November, 'America is doomed.'"

NEO from THE MATRIX
JUSTIFICATIONS:
"The entire premise of the matrix is an emphatic 'yes' to this question. How are you going to be the protagonist of one of the most famous transgender allegories and NOT be transgender" - Anonymous
"Kinda shocked this hasn’t been submitted yet.
The whole story is a trans allegory. She’s trapped in her life as a white collar worker in a world that has always felt slightly wrong. She moonlights as a hacker, taking on the name “Neo” in place of her given male name. She’s contacted by other people who feel the way she does, and know the way out. They help her escape the Matrix, which turns out to be a false digital world that everyone else is trapped in. The creators and enforcers of that society hunt down and attempt to get rid of people who challenge the status quo (easy parallels to how trans people are oppressed based on how we challenge the cisheteropatriarchy and, by existing, reveal it for what it is: false.) Neo and the other people who’ve escaped from that world try to survive together and rescue other people from the Matrix, in hopes of eventually toppling the whole system.
Also, the Matrix is famously made by trans women, which makes a trans reading more plausible.
AND FINALLY, when i was looking up photos of her to use, I found an article saying that Sandra Bullock was considered for the role. The following quote is from the producer: “‘We went to Sandy Bullock and said ‘We’ll change Neo to a girl,'" Di Bonaventura told the outlet.”
Neo could have easily been a woman!! The only reason why she’s not is that a cis man was cast in the role!" - @thesavagesnakeplant

Do you mind if I share some speculations on our favorite bug man?
I think you're right in that Howdy has caught onto something being off about their world. But he can't just jump up and tell everyone that they are living in a simulation. So he has to watch and wait for everyone else to realize it in their own time.
But
In his heart, he is a lovable asshole. And an asshole he will be!
Sally got close to figuring out that the food are props, but it hasn't clicked yet. Until then, the lable on the "mashed potatoes" is just a marketing ploy.
And sure, Howdy knows the blowing balls are made of foam, but Eddie doesn't know that! So Howdy sends him off, watching him struggle to carry something that weighs next to nothing.
Maybe if they interact with enough props, they'll catch on, too? In the meantime, Howdy is gonna have fun messing with everyone.
ohhhh i Do like this interpretation! where he's actually trying to clue them in, not just going "well. this might as well happen". and doing it his own... uh... Special way....

I refuse to think this visuals were not somewhat intentional. Considering how the concept of reality is treated in Stampede.
One above all, the idea that Vash is striving to have a peaceful world full of love, exhausting himself to the brim to help people, even if the reality of Gunsmoke proves him otherwise time and time again. Questioning himself if his desire is gonna remain just a dream, because the violence, the misery, and the agony are spread like a very real web.
If you didn't think about the reference...it's okay, you might be just too young.
Now go watch The Matrix.

Shoutout to @tombiwidgeon for triggering this association chain!
Also, I couldn't stop my dumbass to make this dumbass connection:

naruto proposes except it's him getting on one knee, making a rasenshuriken and going 'will you complete my ultimate jutsu?' if you say yes he gets so excited he releases it and causes the total destruction of a forest the likes of which mcdonalds and amazon combined could ever dream of, if you say no you have to see him make this face -> 🥺 and then cry
