Archie realizing he is bisexual in his 30s but panicking because he is so far behind in his gay education he hardly knows how to gay, goes to the riverdale gay bar and freaks out because they ask him if he is into twinks or bears and he has flashbacks to that time he fought a bear and goes home in survival mode, and jughead is there like hey archie what's wrong dude did someone try to kill you again? but archie is like no jug i don't think i can do this bisexuality thing, betty makes it look so effortless but she doesn't get asked if she is into twinks or bears because everyone knows she is into woman who kill, and jug is like hey pal calm down I'm sure we can find a way to help you out. so they visit gay kevin for a crash course in gay but kevin is soooo condescending and gatekeeps gay because he doesn't want more dating competition, so jughead is like archie pal we have been going about this whole thing wrong we must ask the bisexuals. and they go ask fangs and toni but they assume that jughead is tagging along because he too is bisexual and toni says why don't you two come to the bi night at the white worm you can meet other bi people. so archie and jughead show up together to the bar but everyone assumes that they are a couple and keep refering to jughead as his partner and archie is like yeah haha my partner in crime. and the next day everyone thinks that jughead also came out when cheryl sends them a fruit basket and a congrats bert and ernie card.

look if your reaction to geriatric finale betty is "ugh of course she's the main character the writers are obsessed with her" i do get it but please keep in mind that

- they have kept her trapped in a cycle of emotional abuse with her mother for SEVEN seasons and all indicators are that it will last to the bitter end

- they tore her out of the one relationship in her whole life that made her feel seen and secure and loved for what will likely remain the most blatantly out-of-character plot machination I've ever seen in my life

- the seven years that followed are mainly notable for the fact that she a) was kept in a dirt pit by a serial killer for several weeks and b) became a cop

- they put her in a fuck buddy relationship that she proactively ended only to later accept being his second choice for [reasons not found], relationship then proceeds as a series of red flags clearly suggesting that not only are they fundamentally incompatible (which she already said, out loud, on screen) but that the relationship also consistently makes her feel inadequate and bad for being herself

- they made her the actual biblical whore of babylon (??? still don't understand this one)

- and finally when there's a full-on reboot her sole character traits are "horny for literally anyone at any time" and "constantly angry at mom" who, again, is still abusing her

so like, you're correct, the writers are obsessed with her. they're obsessed with TORTURING HER

the nature of being a johnny lawrence fan, is that it is often indistinguishable from being a johnny lawrence hater, and I don't think I have that with any other character. usually I'm very protective of my faves (including in cobra kai, daniel, sam, kreese, and tsilver), but johnny, I very much enjoy reading all the reasons people dislike his character, nodding along like "yeah what an inconsistent mess, you're so right, carmen pls u deserve better narrative to work with, terry silver was telling the truth when he mocked his fatherhood abilities, but alas the writing will never support it"

back in 2020, when roberto was apologizing and promising to do better by riverdale's black characters, i don't think "introduce a plotline which exploits the memory of a real brutalized and murdered black child for, primarily, the emotional growth of nonblack characters in a hackneyed attempt at 'realism', which is to say 'period-typical behaviors expressed, yet again, near-exclusively in terms of racism towards black characters'" was what literally anyone wanted. i do not think there is a love or even care for black people present at all in this work, because i cannot imagine this was not upsetting at best and traumatic at worst for the black actors involved in the episode, and it likely will be for black fans of riverdale as well. absolutely ghoulish and shameful.

Carmy gives every member of his crew proper attention. Carmy literally says “okay” to every person in his life. Sydney is not the only person Carmy gives his attention too. Sydney is not the only person Carmy says “I’m sorry” too either. Carmy either runs or agrees when confronted with an issue. Sydney is not turn on when she talks to Carmy. Sydney has emotional issues also if you don’t see them then y’all need to stop watching the show. Sydney is not the driving force behind Carmy’s desire to cook or revamp “The Beef” into “The Bear”.

Sydney never apologized to Carmy after she quit in season 1 episode 7 when she was at fault. Literally Sydney was the one who created the issue of the “pre-order” option being on & she picked with Richie after Carmy sent Richie over there to help make the sauce. Smh where is Sydney daydreaming about Carmy like she is so in love with him. Sydney was complaining about Carmy w/ Claire because she is the “only child” & she wants attention and constant praise. And Carmy thought of Sydney during his panic attack because he was overwhelmed about the restaurant opening & he knows he did not give Sydney his all. Carmy knows him & Sydney can really be a great team while Sydney tells him the truth when he needs to hear it. And that is love!! Friends have to love each other because it has to be respect & trust. Everything is not always romantic and if you are an adult over 25 y/o & you think Sydney & Carmy is secretly in love, I suggest you seek therapy. I expect children 25 & under(yes you are a child in my eyes, I’m 35 y/o but feels 55 y/o 😂) to see romantic love in each person who talks to the other sex/same sex longer than 2 mins.
