Here are some fun graphics to give you an idea of what the book is about!
Things you can find in the book:

My first novel! Choosing the most difficult idea I could think of for an inaugural project, I attempted to combine high scifi and magical fantasy in a way that let both genres shine. All too often when genres mix one side is overwhelmed by the other, and none more so than when magic and science meet. Here, I tried to keep it balanced while also telling a story that involves:
-technology that would make Star Trek blush
-multiple types of magic with unique underpinnings
-philosophical discussions about morality with actual gods
-demon bears
-a genderqueer posthuman
-a non-sapient but very catty AI
-a (literally) sharp and grumpy local woman who would rather gut a deer than talk about her feelings
-a well-dressed transman and his love interest with a huge... moustache
-swords
-a princess who just wishes she could punch things more
-between 0 and 2 witches at any given moment
-rOmAnCe
-body horror
-sweet family moments
-dislike of the aristocracy
Hope you like it!

When Life Gives You Lemons, Eat Bread and Cheese...
A vignette from "Tritanium Shadow": Amelle with service bot sidekick DR-9. I was going to draw this in a future version of Wetherspoons, but decided on Cote Brasserie instead, LOLZ...

I for one, am living for the new hot sub-genre in science fiction that's just "Gay people in space, but there's no way to describe the actual plot of the story outside the context of actually reading it that doesn't sound like an acid trip."

EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE - An Autistic LGBTQIA+ Science Fiction Novel with crude humor, heavy fucking language, violence, drama, romance, and tons of neat scifi stuff... Shit, what more could you want? *pats self on back*
There's a mysterious and hauntingly beautiful trans space witch, a hot and brooding "Emo Greek God" scientist, a cryptic and reclusive ancient alien race billions of years more advanced than everyone else, an ethereal being that lives outside of time and space, realistic autistic characters, and lots of talk about mental health.
Written by me an Autistic/ADHD human. Project just launched on Kickstarter—please check it out!

So, since I didn't really promote anything while I was sick with Covid, shamelessly sharing this book I put a lot of work and love into. It's a (free!) novel written to celebrate Arcbeatle Press' 10th Anniversary. You don't need to know jack shit going into it, and other people tell me parts of it are deeply moving. Deals a lot with mental health. Also features Chris Cwej from the Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures because why not (and he's legally licensed to appear!). So yeah. Go enjoy it. It's free. Have fun.

What goes on in an arcade once the lights go out? It's creepy, even for the toughest kids around. The curious few might brave the silence of an arcade after dark.
Surely there's nothing supernatural going on, right?
I've been a bit sick this past week, meaning I couldn't make as much art as I wanted. But I managed to make this! The publishing date is coming up fast, and I'm very excited!

Book Rec: Little Mushroom 🍄
Do you love scifi and especially dystopian or post-apocalyptic settings? Are you a fan of unique worldbuilding or non-human characters? Do you enjoy reading about morally grey characters or LGBT characters? Or maybe you're a fan of star-crossed lovers or even enemies-to-lovers?
Try Little Mushroom! It's an award-winning dystopian scifi novel by the Chinese scifi and fantasy author Shisi. While the author is also known for her other novels, Little Mushroom is currently the only one that has been translated into English.
The official synopsis:
“Until the day humanity falls.”
In the year 2020, Earth’s magnetic poles disappeared and humankind was nearly wiped out by cosmic radiation. Within the span of a hundred years, living creatures began to mutate and devour each other while the remaining humans, numbering in the tens of thousands, struggled bitterly in their man-made bases.
In the Abyss, home to the mutated xenogenics, there lived a sentient little mushroom. Because it had been nourished by the blood and flesh of the deceased human An Ze, not only did it take on a similar-looking human form, but a similar name as well: An Zhe.
An Zhe is determined to go to the human base to search for his spore, which had been harvested by humans. Once there, however, he faces the omnipresent risk of discovery and certain death as he tries to keep his non-human nature hidden from the Judges, whose responsibility is to inspect for and eliminate xenogenics like himself. And of all the Judges, Colonel Lu Feng is the most perceptive and merciless—as soon as he determines that someone is a xenogenic, he will execute that person on the spot.
But An Zhe's mutation goes undetected by Lu Feng's eyes, and so a tale of humans and xenogenics unfolds…
Where to read?
The story is divided into two volumes, available in both ebook and print format. The ebook version is very affordable and you can start reading immediately:
Volume 1: Judgment Day ($7.99)
Volume 2: Revelations ($7.99)
Or if you prefer physical books, you can order those here:
Volume 1: Judgment Day ($19.99)
Volume 2: Revelations ($19.99)
The print edition is also available through several retailers.
If you have any questions about the novel, feel free to message me! It's one of my favorites and I love talking about it!

Oh god another novel. This one is about three queers in a cyberpunk city trying to survive, and how they recover when everything goes wrong.
It's got a lesbian cyborg, a genetically modified enby, a trans hacker, and sweet cathartic violence against the system.
