I'm a little curious, how much of Talita's (or centaurs' in general) head and neck is fluff?
Just looking how deep into the fuzz her eyeglass strap sinks when she wears them kinda reminds me of owls, and it got me wondering.
(I remember seeing baby great gray owls at a zoo once. They were at the stage where the facial feather disc had already mostly grown in, but the rest of the head was still sparce baby fluff, and it made them look like they were missing the entire head behind the face. I'm kinda imagining a similar effect.)
Yeah, the back of a centaur's head is mostly air.
The long mane feathers mask the effect but the only significant organ back there is the vocal lungs, which can puff out the back of the neck even further. Centaurs visibly inhale into their neck before speaking (the effect is especially dramatic before shouting). Inflation is driven by the contraction of a muscle that connects a cartilaginous "diaphragm" to the rear crest of the skull. This lifts the diaphragm perpendicular to the neck and draws air into the lungs. I animated centaur respiration three years ago but the design of the vocal lungs has changed a little since then.... though the lungs still connect to massive sinuses behind the eyes.
Talita's glasses have a strap that sits between the notch created by the back of her skull and the vocal lung diagram. They also have some rubber grippy bands sewn into to keep it from sliding up her mane feathers. It works well enough.

Styraphant average size ref! They're p large. Lady on the left and gentleman on the right! The males are a good percentage larger than the gals and are mainly differentiated by their 'bottom heavy' crest. Which is mainly for show.

Thinking about my silly kangaroo people again…
Speculative rambling below the cut
I originally designed Frenators (way back when) to have both mammalian and vaguely reptilian traits, but I've since backpedaled on that and instead made them marsupials because I think it's cool. It also means I had to rethink their body plan to more resemble something you could plausibly classify as kangaroo-like. Thus, big flat feet and pouches it is!
I'm not sure how long they would keep joeys in the pouch for, given their devellopment cycle is slower than a real roo I would probably estimate pouch-time to be around 2-3 years. The pouch would also serve as a good way to keep young warm in the freezing cold Snowfield temperatures, so that'd also probably encourage them to stay in there longer.
The skeleton is a horrible Frankenstein's monster combination between a human and kangaroo skeleton, modified slightly to facilitate quadrupedal walking and running to the best of my knowledge as I'm not an osteologist. The pelvis looks really off to me, but who knows I'm not bothered to fix it right now.

I used my maps and some simple tools to create a scale model of Earth versus my planet, Jom'Gol.
Earth is the one on the left (obviously, the one with South America), and Jom'Gol is the one on the right.
While Jom'Gol has 4.1 times the mass of Earth, it has a fairly low density, resulting in only a 1.2 G surface gravity, while allowing for a radius 1.85 times that of Earth.

here's something stupid: the catcatfish
some quick facts:
they're nocturnal and tend to roam around while awake.
they have keen senses of smell and hearing, but terrible eyesight. despite this, they also have a tapetum lucidum, making their pupils "glow" in the dark.
their fur is short, dense, and oily to waterproof them.
they prefer a diet of mostly meat and are attracted to strong-smelling food like fish, cheese, and anything fermented.
the elongated dewclaw on each front paw is sharp, flexible, and nonretractable. it injects a venom that causes respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in prey and, in extreme doses, humans. veterenarians typically remove the dewclaw venom glands during the neuter/spay procedure.
they grow to an average of 1m and 23kg (3ft and 50lb) but can reach up to double that length and triple the weight!
