When your society learns to normalize all disabled accommodations as readily as it currently normalizes glasses and contact lenses for the visually impaired, you will all live happier, easier lives together. emojis: black heart, blue heart, masked, spoon, wheelchair symbol, eyeglasses, probing cane, crutch, manual wheelchair, ear with hearing aid

If it feels strange to you as an adult when people openly value you because you never felt valued as a child, it's tempting to imagine the people around you now are wrong in valuing you. They are not. You were always worth love and care even if you weren't given it.

the longest-standing war in cinema history (60 years)
context below the cut:
context: star wars has always been a part of my life; i watched a new hope for the first time with my dad when i was about 4 (four), and over the next decade have watched every single movie and most of the series'.
then, late last year, i came across star trek, and it kinda took over my entire brain (as you can tell on here). i am just starting season 3 of tos now, and will watch as much as i can over the summer :D
but, on May 4th, 2024, the star wars hyperfixation resurfaced after its hibernation, so a new era begins...
anyway thats all :D

If you follow a health care worker's bad advice and bad results happen, that's the HCW's fault, not yours. Their whole job is to give good advice. It's not the patient's job to be a living medical database. It's not your fault! emojis: black heart, blue heart, masked, spoon
