random weasley-wood children headcanons (bc obviously im ignoring percy's canon wife, sorry audrey)

so in canon percy has 2 kids: lucy and molly ii. when i made up the weasley-wood kids i named the eldest lucy without knowing of the canon lucy's existence, so i just thought i'd give that as a fun fact. anyways onto the children

lucille weasley-wood, better known as lucy (percy only calls her lucille when he's worried she's about to hit one of her cousins in the face with a bludger), is a ravenclaw. she's in the same year as lily potter and rose granger-weasley, and the eldest of the three (think of them as the new marauders without peter. basically, they prank people).

if it wasn't obvious from that bludger comment earlier, she's a beater for the ravenclaw team. she's been a beater ever since oliver taught her what the position was (so she was like 1, probably) because "come on dad, i get a bat".

lucy is generally a confident person, and has a bit of a reputation from her cousins (and her parents) for being a blabbermouth. every time there's a secret that needs to be kept, it's rose and lily's job to get lucy as far away from it as possible. she protests, but honestly, she knows it's for the best.

lucy ends up with henry, another ravenclaw in her year and the other ravenclaw beater (and the eldest of my 2 oc kids of dean and seamus). they bond over being extremely protective over their younger siblings (henry is honestly kinda scared of lucy but who isn't at this point).

she ends up playing professional quidditch for the hollyhead harpies and becomes an announcer after that.

skye weasley-wood, the middle child of the three, is a hufflepuff and the only one who doesn't play quidditch (you bet oliver tried. percy told him to stop torturing their children after the fourth time lucy knocked skye off his broom). skye is, as some of you may have guessed, named after the isle of skye in scotland, which is where i hc oliver to be from.

skye is definitely more on the studious side, preferring to read than to do physical activity of any kind. in truth, he's rubbish on a broom. his favorite form of transportation is floo travel, even in adulthood.

skye doesn't have any cousins or family friends in his year, nor is he remotely connected to any hufflepuffs other than teddy (who is long graduated from hogwarts). luckily, in his second year, his younger sister and her friends decide to befriend him (read: force him to join their group because if they want to be better pranksters than lily, rose, and lucy, they need someone in hufflepuff on their side). skye doesn't really mind.

skye's favorite teacher is neville longbottom, and with the help of neville's plant knowledge, he helps out in some truly spectacular pranks. (lucy can't figure out if she's supposed to be angry or proud, so she torments him with an array of zonko's products before settling on both. skye, whose hair is green for the rest of term, is not as pleased with this decision as she is.)

despite his inability to fly and his extreme fear of splinching, skye manages grades rivaling percy's on his newts and decides to be an auror. one day, he takes percy's job as the head of the department of magical law enforcement.

katie weasley-wood, named after katie bell, is the girl everyone says takes after percy the most. she's a slytherin like him, and even though she seems much more outgoing, anyone who knows percy knows that they truly are one in the same. she's a monster on a broom and ends up playing seeker for slytherin after albus graduates. (she's keeper in the year they're both playing, and she's surprisingly good for a 2nd year. at least, she's surprisingly good for the split second before people remember she's oliver wood's daughter.)

katie is not one to be outshone, so when she finds out that her older sister is part of a pranking trio, she gets together a group of first years (and skye), determined to be better. (and mcgonagall thought the weasley twins were bad.) she will destroy you, but she will do it with a smile on her face. be warned.

katie's favorite subject is defense against the dark arts. she loves potions, too, and history of magic can be fun (nobody seems to see how entertaining binns can be when he thinks everybody's asleep), but in dada, she gets to annoy her uncle harry. nothing is better than that. (he pretends he doesn't find her funny, and she pretends she doesn't know he's full of it.)

katie plays quidditch whenever she's home (always keeper, now), but she ends up following her uncle bill into curse breaking. she never does play pro like everyone thought she would. she pretends she doesn't see percy's smiles when she's telling him all about her success.

years later, katie and skye take over weasley's wizard wheezes. you thought it was bad before.

Inconsolable sadness- The Groom will wail audibly and uncontrollably, calling out for his lover and his daughter, during matches, making it very easy for a survivor to tell when he is nearby. This makes him unable to rely on stealth, meaning that the hypothetical player would have to get creative when playing him.

When Juliette reached Grimmauld Place 12 with Neville she was immediately greeted with an old face. “Professor Lupin!” Neville exclaimed loudly.

He gave them both a soft smile and said “I’m not your Professor anymore Neville, call me Remus.” He then set his gaze on Juliette who was standing awkwardly beside them, her brain still unable to process the information; noticing that Remus added, “I suppose you have a lot of questions, let’s sit in the living room and I’ll answer what I can.”

They both followed their old professor to the living room and they sat on the couch and he sat in front of them. They sat in a uncomfortable silence -at least it was uncomfortable for Juliette- for a few seconds, then Remus clapped his hands and began “well first of all, Sirius Black is your Godfather while Neville’s godmother is Marlene McKinnon; The reason why Juliette was not taken with you neville is because during that time the ministry thought it was important to have juliette be raised with a proper family, and things were more tight with neville due to a certain prophecy made some time ago. The Lores had wanted a child, a female to be exact and after their miscarraige to a girl they made the rash decision of taking you Juliette.” His face kept turning from one of them to the other as he addressed each one of them in a part of the explanation.

“Secondly Juliette, Sirius is innocent, he didn’t do any of the things that the prophet or the ministry says he does; if you want to know the rest of the story you can go ask harry. Who is your Godbrother by the way. Sirius had a talk with Dumbledore and they agreed that you could stay here until Christmas break ends; since it is the First of December it will be less than two months.” They sat in silence for a few minutes, to give them enough time to process each word he said, knowing that Dumbledore doesn’t take in their feelings. “ I’m going to give you both sometime to take it all in and I’m going to go find Sirius.”

They were both left alone with their thoughts, then she processed the thought that the person sitting next to her is her real brother. She jumped on him and hugged him, Neville tensed and then wrapped his arms around her after a few seconds.

They heard an obnoxiously loud “AWWWW” and then an even louder frustrated “SHHHH”. They unwrapped their arms from around each other and looked at the source of the noises. They were greeted by an awestruck Sirius Black and an aggravated Remus Lupin looking at them. Juliette recognised her Godfather from the newspapers from her third year.

Sirius crossed the room, finding no reason for him to hide anymore since their embrace was finished; and hugged Juliette. She, like Neville, tensed at the gesture but did not return it. He let go of her and then cleared his throat and then said “probably too soon for that.”

“Sorry I'm not used to it.” She replied, feeling guilty.

“Oh, okay then.” He said shrugging his shoulders and then slide between them on the couch and slinged his arms around both of their shoulders and said, turning to Neville “you know kid, the only reason I wasn’t your godfather was because alice didn’t trust me with both of her children; as if McKinnon was better than me or something.” He let out a scoff at the send of his words.

Juliette let out a chuckle, now getting to understand the personality of this man. She was excited about how the rest of winter break was going to be. She then looked meekly at her godfather and said “can I stay here for the rest of the term?”

His face brightened at her words and she was sure that if he wasn’t sitting he would’ve jumped with joy. He replied “yeah, of course.” He then turned his face to Neville and added “not sure about you though.”

Neville then looked at the floor and said “I have to go back because classes and the DA, and my plants.”

“Yeah, Dumbledore thought you would say that, so he told me to tell you that you can come visit Juliette every Saturday until Break.” Sirius said, pulling his arms away from their shoulders and standing up from the couch. “Tell me when you’re going back to Hogwarts-” he then saw the look that Remus was giving him so he added “I’m going to leave you both now, do sibling stuff, but don’t kill each other; if necessary maim only.”

When he exited the room, Neville was the one to embrace Juliette this time and Juliette felt like she could cry but then she realised he might get freaked out or something. They stayed for a few hours talking, until he had to leave.

They bid each other farewell with probably their 100th hug, and then Juliette went to Sirius to talk to him.

It’s been 20 days since Juliette’s adoptive parents died and 20 days since George had seen her last. To say that he’s worried is an understatement, and he wasn’t the only one that was worried a specific bleach blonde Slytherin seems to be facing the same emotions.

Has no feelings for me, my ass; he thought. He’s looking at the Slytherin who has the same dark circles under his eyes that he has; and isn’t eating anything. George had been forced multiple times to eat by his siblings and multiple letters from his mother.

This event showed George that his feelings are in-fact as fucking obvious as the ferret’s feelings for her.

He couldn’t focus on his classes, not that he did in the first place; but not focusing is much more unpleasant than he anticipated when having a reason.

He knew that by that day that she had left Hogwarts, he had tried to go to her dorm several times and got no answer. He would try to send her a letter, but not knowing her address and not knowing where she would be without her parents prevents that action.

Even if he had sent a letter, he knows that whatever information he would’ve gotten wouldn’t have made him cheerier; once again looked at the bleached blonde ferret.

Tristan has gotten over the fact quickly he skipped one day of classes and then he came back as if nothing happened in the first place; and those were his actual birth parents that died.

He assumed that she would grieve their death, but he didn’t think that she would grieve their deaths for this long; and from the stories that he was told by her they had treated her like shit and that she couldn’t have possibly loved them.

George didn’t assume that he could be anymore worried that day, but he was proven wrong when his family and harry were all taken to Dumbledore’s office in the middle of the night; saying that his father was under attack from Voldemort’s fucking snake.

Ginny started crying and Fred had taken her into his arms, trying to appear strong for her; Ron on the other hand wasn’t doing much to appear strong for your younger sister thing. His eyes were watery and he seemed on the edge of bursting out crying just like Ginny.

George is about to have a panic attack or at least that’s what it felt like to him. His hands are placed in his pockets to prevent Ginny from seeing his shaking hands; he tried to think positively, but the lack of sleep and the amount of worry prevented him from doing so.

They were all sent to Grimmauld Place 12 while his mother went to St. Mungo’s. It was the middle of the night, but Sirius greeted them with hope.

George tried to talk to Harry to question him about his father but he seemed to snap at him every time he tried. They were all standing in the hallway that was right beside the staircase and in front of the kitchen, where all the order’s meetings were made.

Once they reached the living room after the kitchen, George sat on the couch head back trying to calm down his nerves; while Ron held Ginny trying to calm her down and Fred was blaming Sirius for not helping their father saying “ I don’t see you risking your neck-”

George resisted the urge to punch his brother from stupidity, Sirius was wanted in the ministry, of course he wasn’t going to go to the ministry to help their father. George blocked out the rest of their conversation until they heard a voice that made them all quiet down.

“What the FUCK, is all this noise for?” Juliette said, entering the room. She was wearing a red silk night gown that reached her thighs and her hair down, slightly messy. -from sleeping he assumed- George felt relief rush through his entire body, and he jumped off the couch and hurried to her. Before he tightly wrapped his arms around her, he heard a soft, surprised “George?”

He tightened his arms around her and for a few seconds he forgot everything that's wrong at this moment in his life, feeling relieved by the familiar smell of Lavender, almonds, and coconut.

“Are you okay? What happened?” He asked her to unwrap his arms from her torso and lift them to cup her face in his hands. He could see a blush decorating her cheeks when she lifted her hands to hold his hands on her face and say, “Nevermind me, what happened to you guys?”

The few seconds of comfort were demolished by the question, remembering that his father might very well be dying, or maybe even dead right now. He moved away from her, his hands falling and sat back down on the couch; his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands as he let out an exhale.

He could hear Sirius whispering to whom he thought was Juliette and then he heard Juliette let out a small ‘oh.’

He felt the couch dip from beside him and two small arms wrap around his torso, lifting his head and he saw her hugging him. She leaned closer to his ears and she whispered “you should sleep, you look really tired.”

He cracked a small smile and looked at her “that’s because I am tired it’s two in the morning.” She gave him a small sympathetic smile and then laid his head on her lap, she gave him a kiss on his forehead that made his heart skip several beats.

“Sleep George, I’ll wake you if anything happens.”

Her words were the last thing he heard before he fell into the deepest sleep he’s had in eighteen days, with her hands in his hairs and the butterflies in his stomach; he fell asleep with the girl he loves. Leaving him to deal with his problems the next day. His last thought was:

Shit, I think I love her.

I really hope he can’t hear how hard my heart is beating, Juliette thinks as she continues to play with a sleeping George’s hair. After about an hour, Mrs. Weasley sends a letter about Mr. Weasley’s health; and even though Juliette doesn’t want to, she has to wake George up. She promised to wake him up if they receive any news. She slowly takes out her hand from his hair and leans in closer to his ear and starts saying his name in whispers.

“George.”

“George, wake up.”

“George, We got a letter from Mrs. Weasley.”

He started shuffling around slightly, and his eyes slowly fluttered open. A cute smile graced his features when his eyes fully opened, She felt butterflies. A smile took over her own features, and she said in a soft voice “we got a letter from Mrs. Weasley.”

As if he remembered the situation they were in, and the smile left his face and so did her’s. He lifted his head from her lap, but still took her hand in his; as Sirius started to read the letter. She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze hoping that he’d know that she was there for him.

She had spent the past sixteen days, spending more time with Sirius, Remus, and Neville. She would lose in chess with Remus, but beat Sirius in an exploding snap game; and Neville came from Hogwarts six times to spend time with her. He told her if she wanted to come visit their parents in St. Mungo’s at Christmas with him, and she agreed; even though she was actually terrified of their Gran from what Neville told her.

She saw Harry head up the stairs, as soon as Sirius finished reading the letter. She turned to George and said “I have to go, I’ll come back” He looked at her and nodded, seemingly lost in his own thoughts.

She hurried up the stairs after Harry, and saw her room’s door open. She entered and saw Harry panicking on the floor, his head resting on the wall. She rushed beside him and placed a calming hand on his shoulder, he started crying and saying “what’s wrong with me?”

“Nothings wrong with you Harry, you saved Mr. Weasley’s life from what I heard from Sirius. You need to stop blaming yourself.” She replied, she heard him start sniffling and slowly calming down.

After a few minutes of sitting in silence, Harry scanned the room with his eyes and said with a confused look on his face “who’s room is this?”

Juliette let out a small chuckle and said with her hand slightly raised up “mine.”

Harry looked at her quizzically “since when?”

“Since Sirius decided it was about two weeks ago.”

Harry looked at her even more confused, “you’re staying here?”

“Well of course godbrother, where else am I supposed to go?” She replied and asked with a smile.

His eyes widened slightly, and he looked at her skeptically. “Godbrother?”

“Yeah well Sirius is also my godfather too, so you’re kinda like my godbrother.” She said, shrugging her shoulders and lifting herself up from the floor. She held out a hand to him and he accepted it.

“I’m sorry about your parents by the way.” He said sympathetically.

She lifted her right hand in front of her and waved a dismissing motion and said “don’t be I’m adopted, turns out Neville’s my brother.” He raised an eyebrow. She replied saying, “You can just ask Sirius.”

They headed down the stairs and Juliette sat beside George once again, intertwining their fingers as Harry sat next to George on the other side.

George rested his head on her shoulder and kept a firm grip on her hand, as they all waited for Mrs. Weasley to return from St. Mungo’s.

Introduction:

Warning! Blood and Cannibalism are mentioned down below.

- His headcanon voice fits as Richard Ayoade, he has similar humor and personality but it was first inspired by Jerry from the Disney movie called "Soul" who voiced over as Richard Ayoade.

- He is the Overlord of Arts, works in an Art Hub called "Alite" (ongoing process of it, so probably in the near future it will change.)

-He was a hitman in Hell, working as a sniper. He assisted Rosie with the labor work in her cannibal town, collecting meat from his assignments and selling it to her. Additionally, he aided Carmilla Carmine on extermination day, utilizing his sniping skills to gather corpses and collect the Angelic weapons abandoned in Hell. He sold both the corpses and weapons, earning a substantial and worthwhile reward.

-He used to date Rosie as they have similar interests to their culinary enthusiast, as Rosie a cannibal and Nevil a sanguinarian(blood-drinking). They'd like to explore their depth of chemistry with one another and see how long they'll survive. Plus he is known to be Aromantic, so he gives it a try with the most beautiful cannibal woman.

-He drinks blood like wine and puts them on his meal like a dipping sauce. And he does not eat like Rosie does as he only desires blood rather than raw meat.

-They had a cult, more likely a masquerade or festival event that gathers all the Cannibal town people, including Rosie, into a fiesta with an enthusiastic buffet served with the exotic and raw foods they collect.

-Nevil wears a mask that smirks with a wide grin. When he got there in Hell he already had a mask on his face, so it's part of his body.

-He died before the 1970s or middle of sixties.

The Misfit Gang (Slytherin Gang ff)

It was finally time for the first ever flying lesson. Soren and the other Slytherins walked down to the grounds near the herbology greenhouses and stood waiting for the Gryffindors and Madame Hooch to arrive. It had been a couple of days since Soren first met Lorenzo and Theodore, and now she, Blaise, and the boys did almost everything together.

When the slacking Griffindors and their flying professor showed up at last and everyone was let into the grounds, the two houses aligned into rows beside brooms. Pansy stood next to Draco, like she did all the time now, and the rest of the Slytherins beside them.

"Now, hold you hand above your broom and say UP!" Madame Hooch called.

There was a thundering of "UP" as everyone tried to get their brooms to rise into their hands. It took almost four tries for the combined classes to all have their brooms, and when they did, Madame Hooch pulled the whistle to her lips.

"Now, when I blow my whistle, you kick off from the ground, hard," said Madame Hooch, "Keep your brooms steady, rise a few feet and then come straight back down by leaning forwards slightly. On my whistle - three - two -"

Neville, a jumpy Gryffindor, clambered onto his broom before Madame Hooch had time to say one. He blasted into the air, unable to stop because he was shaking so hard. He wobbled here and there as he rose higher and higher into the sky. Girls from both houses screamed in unison, terrified he might fall. Soren looked on with the rest of her house in shock as the Gryffindors and Madame Hooch tried to get him to come down.

Suddenly, he tipped towards the ground, his broom seemingly hovering, before he fell off. The entire group let out a tremendous shriek as he flew downwards. Enzo covered Soren's eyes as Neville hit the ground and whimpered. The impact and sound made Soren flinch and she didn't even bother moving Enzo's hand from her eyes. He pulled it away when, after what seemed like ages but was most likely only a split second, Madame Hooch and the other girls crowded around Neville in a shrieking, crying mass of first years.

They looked on in shock as Madame Hooch picked the boy up, inspected his arm with a grunt of "Broken bone. C'mon we'll get you fixed up in the hospital wing," and brought him back to the school. She warned the rest of the remaining students that anyone who tries to fly without her there would be expelled immediately.

"That poor boy...." Soren gasped.

Draco called out, holding something up, and the entire class turned to him. Then he and Harry Potter got into a long argument that ended in both of them on brooms in the air.

"This'll end well for sure," Theo remarked boredly, as the two braindead idiots on brooms circled each other.

They watched as Draco taunted Harry, looking slightly less brave, and then threw the glass ball down towards the ground. Harry zoomed towards the ball and caught it, only mere seconds before he would have become a wizard pancake. Soren was barely watching anymore, but turned towards the school doors, where Professor McGonagal was hurrying down to the grounds with a shocked and upset expression.

Soren tapped Blaise on the arm and he, too, turned to see McGonagal rushing towards them.

"Ahhh well, the fun lasted a while. I guess they'll both be expelled," he muttered as Theo and Enzo finally noticed the strict head of Gryffindor.

Harry was quickly rushed inside the castle, and the lesson continued without missing a beat. Nobody mentioned the Potter-Malfoy brawl to Madame Hooch in the hopes they wouldn't get expelled like Harry.

I’m starting a short fic rec series to spread some love for Narnia authors, they aren’t in any sort of order other than the really long ones are on the bottom.

A lot of these stories are on ff.net which I know is a pain of a site to use, however, I sorted through a lot of Narnia fics to find these and I think they deserve some love. I did check if anything was on ao3 and put that link instead if I could find it. Please give these authors some love, kudos, favorites, comments, etc. They’re all great and it’s always fun to find older fics!

She has good character growth though and by the end she’s not an annoying mary sue.

I’m normally very wary of OC centered fics, but this one is great. Set in Elecktrum’s world from series Sword and Shield, Jewel and Song, Peridan (from A Horse and His Boy) comes to Narnia with his family, including his sons Jaer and Jaerin. They are similar ages to Edmund and Lucy and show an interesting perspective on the Narnian court and the beginning of the Golden Age. All the characters are very 3D and fun to read about. It’s technically not finished, but doesn’t end on a cliff hanger and since it feels a bit more ‘a day in the life’ it’s not too bad.

Starting right after the coronation festivities, the siblings have to figure out how to help Narnia and how to find their place in this new world. As they travel around Narnia they meet lots of different groups and dealing with some of the witches army. The side characters are great, and the magical connection that the siblings form with the land is also wonderful. Lots of just hard work to build the kingdom in a very satisfying way.

Black Dwarves, Blue River by Elecktrum

In the first year of their reign, Edmund goes to visit a very stubborn clan of black dwarves. It has great side characters, great worldbuilding for Narnian customs and culture, and Edmund being sassy and stubborn in return while really settling into being King. The other Pevensies feature a bit but it’s really about Edmund. Also has some fun blacksmithing info if you’re curious about that kind of thing. Part of the series by Elecktrum but can be read alone.

Sword and Shield, Jewel and Song by @elecktrum

Okay so this series is really great for world building, the basic premise is just that the golden age longer than a lot of people think, a couple decades instead of 15 years. Most fics are still set early in the Golden Age (a few are set in the other eras or after), as the siblings are figuring out how to lead and also rebuild from the destruction of the witch. Most of the fics can be read as stand alones, are less than 10k, and don’t even have to be read in order.

A few should be read in order like: Into the West, which is one of the novel length fics with a companion called They Also Serve where Peter journey’s west to undo the Witches’ magic attacking Edmund, lots of adventure and angst between the two. Black Dwarves, Blue River now has a companion sequel called Belana, both are about Edmund trying to gain the good will of a dwarven clan and getting to know Narnia. Thole is another novel length fic about the giants invading and capturing Peter which has a kind of epilouge/transition sequel A Blessing of Rain. The whole series has amazing world building, great characterization, and wonderfully complex side characters. I really enjoy how the series dives into the interactions between creatures and humans, while also acknowledging the magic of Narnia.

Shipping Fics - I generally don’t really read shipping fics for Narnia, but these ones were fun. I’m currently finding new fics, so I might make a separate list for shipping fics eventually.

A Peridan/Edmund fic that has some really interesting world building for the Lone Islands and the start of Narnia’s reign. I really like Peridan in this, he’s very interesting. HOW THEY'D BE INTRODUCED:

So I don’t think Rosaline would really be properly introduced with a name and everything until Order of the Phoenix, but I can see her continually popping up in the background of various shots, walking around with Pansy or sitting at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall or glaring at Ginny’s back if she’s part of a conversation. There would probably also be a scene where the focus is on Harry and a conversation he’s having while he’s with the Weasleys, but you can sort of hear Ginny in the background complaining about a Slytherin girl who seems to think they’re in some kind of competition, and you know who that is…

WHO THE FANDOM SHIPS THEM WITH:

Definitely mainly Ginny, but I can see people also shipping her with Pansy, since we all love a good friends to lovers arc, or even Luna, since they develop something of an unlikely friendship once Rosaline starts getting closer to the people around Ginny.

WHY THE FANDOM LOVES THEM:

I think for a lot of the same reasons the fandom loves Draco - child of a rich pureblood family of Death Eaters who doesn’t actually want to be a part of what their parents are making them do and who’s secretly in love with the rival they made for themselves - but since Rosaline actually gets her redemption arc in canon, they might even like her better (😅). I also think a lot of people would love her sense of style and her impeccable comebacks.

WHY THE FANDOM HATES THEM:

You just know there would be people who hate her for “breaking up” Harry and Ginny and “turning Ginny gay,” even though that’s obviously total bullshit. I also think a lot of people would call her redemption arc unrealistic or hate her because she’s kind of naturally snarky and bitchy, because you know how people get when female characters are like that.

WHAT THE CAST RELATIONSHIP WOULD BE LIKE:

Camila Mendes seems to be super sweet and funny, so I think she’d get along great with the cast! I definitely think she’d be good friends with Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, and obviously she and Bonnie Wright would do a bunch of cute interviews together.

WHAT THEIR AUDITION SCENE WOULD BE:

Likely the scene where Rosaline approaches Ginny and Neville about joining Dumbledore’s Army during sixth year, where she gives a little speech about wanting to right her wrongs and not wanting to be on the wrong side of the war anymore. It’s an emotional moment that touches on a lot of her motivations and who she is as a character, so I think it would be an important scene to have for auditions and see which actress can nail it.

DEPENDING ON THE FANDOM, WHO THEY’D BE AT PRESS TOURS/COMIC CON WITH:

Likely either the actors for the Silver Trio - Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, and Evanna Lynch - or even Tom Felton, since they do play the two prominent Slytherins in the story.

IF THE SHOW/MOVIE HAS ENDED, IF THEY’RE HAPPY WITH THEIR CHARACTER’S ENDING AND THE ENDING AT LARGE:

Definitely! By the end of the story, Rosaline has escaped from under her parents’ thumbs, proven herself to be a better person than she ever thought she was, and finally in a relationship with the girl she’s been pining for. A pretty good ending, if you ask me.

what's up tumblr (yet another blog intro)

i've decided to redo this post itself every time i want to make a new intro instead of making a new post :)

hi everyone, i'm tas, and i post a lot of hp stuff

note: everything in bold is either a favorite of mine or something important

hey everyone :) you can call me tloui or tas. my pronouns are he/it. i'm aroace. idk if there's much else to say there lol

i don't post about much other than harry potter on here, but i do have other interests (of course). my favorite musical artists are ajr, troye sivan, and tate mcrae. my favorite movies are vengeance (2022) and moneyball. my favorite books are red, white & royal blue, the catcher in the rye, project nought, and this was our pact. i also really like all the riordianverse books (and i do actually reblog things about pjo on a regular basis). lastly, my favorite colors are blue, green, yellow, pink, and red, which you can probably tell from the banner image and dividers i made for this post.

as for what i post myself, it's harry potter. just harry potter. (yk... minus that one tbosas post). i despise both jkr and pretty much all canon events (it was a canon event) so if you ship almost any canon ship, you're probably out of luck here. (i do ship some canon ships [cough cough drastoria and jily cough cough] but i almost never post about them anyway lol)

my favorite character is percy weasley and i post about him a lot. i'm a slytherin percy weasley truther all the way and love perciver (it's one of my otps) so if you ever wanna chat about percy (or penelope, oliver, and marcus) i'm here :)

even though my favorite character is percy, most of my fics & fic ideas are set in the marauders era. i'll also write some next gen stuff occasionally, and while i have a ton of ocs for next gen, the ones i reference most are lucy, skye, and katie (perciver oc kids) and henry and luella (deamus oc kids).

out of all ships, i write jegulus the most. even if it isn't the main ship, it's featured in a lot of my fics & wips

i slam the door and i'm on my way - jegulus, wip, teen and up. currently 3 chapters and 6.8k. ↳ regulus joins sirius at james's house during his sixth year. together, james, regulus, sirius, and the rest of their friends (both the gryffindor crew and the slytherin skittles) work together to bring voldemort down.

if you stayed - jegulus, complete, general. oneshot, 5k. ★ ↳ regulus leaves his family for good and stays with james and harry while he gets back on his feet in exchange for him looking after harry while james works. regulus is sure james is going to make him leave when the summer ends and harry goes back to school, but this might not be the case after all.

one big family - multi, complete, general. oneshot, 1.3k. ★ ↳ harry celebrates his eleventh birthday with his parents, his sister luna, and their friend neville. a no voldemort au with background jegulus, pandalily, and more :)

not quite bright - penelope clearwater & percy weasley, complete, teen and up. oneshot, 1.8k. ↳ a oneshot with penelope & percy where they're pushed to the sidelines, nobody quite understands them, and the world kinda sucks, but maybe that's ok. basically just queerplatonic (& very neurodivergent coded) penelope/percy.

home at last - jegulus, complete, general. oneshot, 352 words ★ ↳ the ao3 version of this tumblr post i made :) just a fluffy little jegulus microfic about how they got together

as a last note, while i do post almost exclusively harry potter stuff on here, i do make my own stories, and a lot of them. i've only made one post about my original work on here, but i might make more if i feel like it, so i thought i'd add a small section talking about basic bits of my original wips

tsbom - tsbom is the world where i put any character that exists in our world, aka a world without magic or fantasy elements. the characters live across the us, but they're all connected somehow. (this is the universe that my one oc post has come from).

tlotlk + the realms - the realms is the wip as a whole, and tlotlk is the first book, which i'm currently in the process of writing. this series follows a boy as he becomes a knight & falls in love with the prince of the kingdom he's protecting :)

twoa, tcon, ion, & bote - these wips all take place in the same universe, which is also collectively called twoa. this is a universe where gods exist and different human/humanoid people are spread throughout the universe. earth shows up a few times, but isn't the main focus of the series. almost all characters are gods, demigods, or mages, but there are also a few other magical beings & mortals mixed in.

tcor - a story about a girl falling into a world she doesn't belong in with few memories and the knowledge that something is after her. (no it's not horror lol). with the help of a few friends, she's determined to get to the bottom of the mystery and fend off whatever's hunting her down.

beachside - ten kids end up in a replica of their hometown, except they're alone and this version of it is considerably more hostile. just a lot of found family honestly.

these aren't all my wips, but they're the majority of them, as well as the ones i work on the most. while it may not be mentioned in the summaries i gave here, all of them are queer & include romance, usually multiple romances. (i may be aroace, but i write a lot of romance.)

When I tell you I woke up and screamed, that I had a big stupid smile on my face, I'm not lying. I texted my friends, and I took a screenshot. I was giggling and kicking my feet like a schoolgirl.

Oh, this is a lovely loaded question, anon! I have the urge and need to yap about my children because I love them so much. For now I only want to talk about the oc that I use the most because I am so familiar with him and he swims around in my brain until something new crosses my sights.

before i get into talking about Arcturus Black:

"how & why did you come up with them?"

Not to sound 'cringe' or 'weird' I typically come up with an original character if I either want to be inserted into that universe, or there is a character I really like that I want to interact with. They start out as self-inserts but over time develop their own personalities and lore. And this could go for any fandom I'm in.

Arcturus Black is one of my HP oc's whom I've fallen in love again with this HP revival. (idk how I got back into this fandom)

*p.s. I will not watch the new series on MAX because I absolutely despise JK Rowling and her writing is shit anyway

To say it bluntly, I like Regulus Black, specifically the Regulus Black whom we know nothing about. Not the fandom girliepopification of Regulus Black. He was a Quidditch player for Slytherin, joined the Death Eater's young, betrayed Voldemort because he messed with Kreacher.

I uphauled my previous Harry Potter oc and wanted to make another one because I was a Hufflepuff and had landed on giving Regulus Black a son because I had seen a lot of people give Sirius Black children. I thought I was being cool and quirky straying from what other people do. Thus the idea for Arcturus was born.

He was tall, he had dark hair he could tie up, his eyes reminded me of the moon, he barely smiled, he hid behind books, he avoided people. Arcturus quickly became my pride and joy because I loved his personality, I loved his lore, I loved the angst specifically.

Being upset because his uncle, Sirius, preferred Harry over him and even avoided him in some cases. Sirius died in the Ministry thinking Arcturus hated him, the boy that looked almost uncannily like his brother. Fucking- He's a lil shit/pos

He has a friend group consisting of Severinus Lyall (to be yapped ab later), Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom. I like to call the four of them Four Corners because Arcturus is a Hufflepuff, Neville and Gryffindor, Luna a Ravenclaw, and Severinus a Slytherin. They are his closest friends, but there are times he would rather curl up with a good book. Outsiders often mistake him looking at his book as not paying attention whenever one of his friends are talking, but he pays attention even with his face buried in a book.

Did I mention he has a crush on Neville?

He is fucking whipped for Neville Longbottom, just as I am whipped for Neville Longbottom. Dare I say more?

JkJk I will say more. Arcturus denies ever having feeling for Neville in the first place because he's afraid of those feelings. He's afraid of what other people will say. He doesn't know himself well enough to trust those feelings, mainly he's just scared his feelings are filling the void in him cause he has no idea who his dad is.

He's protective of his friends, protective of Neville. He fights for the people who stood by him when everyone else doubted him. He cherishs his friends. They are his support system when he is at Hogwarts.

The disconnect with the Black family name because he didn't grow up with anyone, the hatred of who he is because everyone already assumes the worst of him. I mean, I've planned for Arcturus to have a whole arc to himself about wanting to understand himself and wanting others to understand him because so many people choose to think they already know who he is just because of his name.

And I can relate to him, so much. I can relate to not feeling like I understand myself, or that I'm even more isolated from my already small family, its why I love him so much.

The only reason why I don't think he's a self insert completely is because with writing, everyone puts a piece of themselves in it. In whatever they create, the artist breathes life of their own into their creation. Sure, Arcturus isn't my only oc but he was the one I wanted to talk about because I use him more than the others. I have quite a few that I could talk about but they aren't as feral on the brain as Arcturus is. I'm writing a new fic with him, I'm developing him more. (the fic is a sequel, you should check it out/j)

Okay, I didn't exactly try to sit down and write this in one go, nor did I really have a list or uniform information about Arcturus. I don't exactly write things down about my ocs, instead end up telling my irl friends random blurbs about them whether I have an idea involving fanfiction or not. Honesty, I should do that Meet the Character Monday thing...

Doing this with the main characters from my historical fiction novel, The Jack of Diamonds. So Philip Devlin, Anne Marlon, John Grey, and Ezio Dellucci.

"Are you named after anyone?"

Philip: Not that I am aware of. Philip is a relatively common name in my family though.

Anne: I believe my mother named me after Anne Neville, from the period of the Wars of the Roses.

John: No, I am not named after anyone. (Writer note: he is named after a Victorian Gypsy.)

Ezio: I am entirely unique! No one else has my name! (Writer note: he wasn't named after Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed, it is just a coincidence.)

"When was the last time you cried?"

Philip: If you must know it was in 1887, when I was fourteen. This is an impertinent question.

Anne: Last night... my elder brother and I had something of a row, but it has been resolved now.

John: I believe I may have shed a few tears when I had a metal shard removed from my arm in 1889.

Ezio: Two years ago, in Paris, of heartbreak. It was very romantic.

"Do you have kids?"

Philip: No, and I doubt I would be a good father if I did.

Anne: Not yet, but I should like to have some.

John: Yes, a daughter called Violet. She is ten years of age now.

Ezio: I have so many siblings, I do not wish for children.

"Do you use sarcasm a lot?"

Philip: Of course, it is invaluable when dealing with bores.

Anne: I try not to, it always seems a little rude.

John: What do you think? Of course I do!

Ezio: Who does not use sarcasm??

"What is the first thing you notice about people?"

Philip: Their eyes, and then what jewellery they are wearing.

Anne: What they are holding, and where their hands are generally.

John: Their clothes. You can tell a lot about a person's wealth from their clothes.

Ezio: Any unusual shapes in pockets.

"What is your eye colour?"

Philip: Ice blue.

Anne: Sky blue, with little yellow flecks.

John: Dark brown.

Ezio: As green as the sea around Venezia.

"Scary movies or happy endings?"

Philip: I prefer the suspense, as it keeps my mind entirely focused. Romance is easy to wander from.

Anne: Happy endings! Life is so complex, it is nice to see all come right in the end.

John: I suppose the scary option? Most novels incorporate a sense of dread and a happy ending...

Ezio: Like Caro Philip, I enjoy the thrill of suspense!

"Any special talents?"

Philip: I am rather talented at sleight of hand tricks, and an excellent swimmer.

Anne: I can play the piano well, and I write occasionally.

John: I am a con-artist, and I flatter myself a good batsman in cricket.

Ezio: I am acrobatic, an excellent fighter and I can act well.

"Where were you born?"

Philip: Venice. My parents were on the grand tour at the time.

Anne: Our family home in Bath. It is a really lovely place, but my brother was obliged to sell it.

John: My parents' house on Caster Lane, Isle of Dogs, London.

Ezio: Rio de la Pleta, Venezia! We have a lovely palazzo, with frescoes everywhere.

"Do you have any pets?"

Philip: No, my parents can't abide them.

Anne: I have a tabby house cat, called Shelley.

John: I did have a dog, but the blasted creature ran off.

Ezio: I dislike pets, but should like to own a horse for riding.

"What sort of sports do you play?"

Philip: I row very well.

Anne: I am rather sedentary, but I do play a little tennis and chess.

John: Cricket, darts, card and dice games.

Ezio: I enjoy hunting, rowing, swimming and chess.

"How tall are you?"

Philip: Six feet and two inches. Entirely respectable.

Anne: Slightly taller than most women, five feet and six inches.

John: five feet and ten inches. Devlin enjoys lording over me as regards his height.

Ezio: Why should I tell you? I am tall enough. (Writer note: he is five feet and four inches, and annoyed about it.)

"What was your favourite subject in school?"

Philip: My tutor greatly encouraged my love of the Classics and Ancient Greece.

Anne: When I was at boarding school, I rather enjoyed Literature. My tutor after that discouraged me from the subject.

John: I never went to school.

Ezio: I enjoyed my father teaching me how to fence!

"What is your dream job?"

Philip: If I were obliged to earn a living, perhaps an historian?

Anne: An occupation for a woman? Well... perhaps my brother would let me into Parliament.

John: A tailor, as it pays fairly well.

Ezio: I would not wish for any occupation other than the one I already have.

A series in which I ask my mutuals for fanwork recs, and then come back and tell you why I loved them. Any chance you have something to rec (the criteria are virtually non-existent)? Please, please send it on. Here is my original ask with more info.

I Was Recced:

As The Lights Lift Around Us by @zeziliazink [Drarry | M | 25.6k]

“What?” Draco said, finally looking Potter in the eye. Potter’s eyes were wide and green below his raised eyebrows. It must have been the lenses of his glasses sharpening the flecks of color in his irises, because they were almost shimmering in the light of the hundred-year old sconce on the brick wall behind Draco’s head, and oh fuck, he was still looking Potter in the eye, what the fuck, how was he supposed to get out of this, now? In which our heroes become reacquainted in a pub, spend a whole day together that turns into night, and then...? Featuring a minor freakout (Draco), a brand new song (Harry), and affectionate exasperation (all of their friends). Will Draco figure his shit out before Harry gives up? Will Harry survive the Venomous Tentacula? Will Draco ever decide which tea he wants? Will Harry's HooTube commenters ever forgive him for falling in love?

As the Lights is a stark departure from last week's read: Open Fire by Slytherco. With tags like "musician!Harry", "flying teapots", "lots of blushing", and "lots of grinning", you might expect this fic to be super cute and fluffy--and you would be absolutely right! Zezilia gives us just enough angst in this Enemies-to-Friends-to-Lovers story to make the getting together feel genuine and believable without making us doubt for one second that these boys we love so much will end up happily together. Reading this story made me feel so warm and fuzzy that I inhaled it in a day, and I highly recommend you do so as well! In addition to the classic, very gay trope of the "24 hour date" and musician!Harry's smoldering good looks and endearing friendship with Luna (who fronts a band called Luna Lovegood and the Good Loves !!!!!), there are a couple of specific things I want to shout out about this story:

🐣 Draco Malfoy's Journey to Healing His Inner Child Is there another person, real or fictional, who needs to heal their inner child as much as Draco Malfoy?? Arguably Harry James Potter, but when we meet him in this fic he's well on his way. I love how Zezilia skillfully peppers in all these little but significant ways that Draco is trying--consciously and subconsciously--to re-parent himself and to replace all the vicious, unkind voices that have populated his head for so long. His mirror has the voice and personality of someone's doting grandmum, for goodness' sake! But beyond that, we get to witness Draco learning how to allow himself to be earnest, to openly enjoy the things he likes, and to be a little weird! It helps that he has two of the world's best friends, Sophie and Ravi (Zezilia's OCs), to encourage and support him. Honestly, I desperately want a Sophie. It's so gratifying to watch Draco not only love himself for who he really is, but learn that other people will love his true self, too.

🧙🏻‍♂️ The Wonder of the Wizarding World I adore the ways that Zezilia has woven the most magical parts of the wizarding world through this story. The way that they use magic to embellish scenes and complicate the characters lives is so delightful. Whether it's a particularly bawdy painting of a shepherd tending his flock (and other things), the most magical sounding café with Cheering Charm-infused pastries, or a magical park full of animated (and also bawdy!) statues, Zezilia doesn't hold back on the whimsy!

And a bonus: this fic is pro-Hot!Neville, and so am I. So very much.

A cozy winter morning, and a new term of endearment.

Okay, so technically speaking I have read everything Bee has ever written--much of it several times--which means this was a (blissful) re-read for me. I've gushed about my favorite stories Bee has written before (starlight (the unsuccessful return of a runaway prince), to be a bit of warmth (for you), you bring me home, their kinktober 2021 collection, for starters) but I have yet to really rec this one. Since most of my mutuals will be familiar with the way Bee writes our favorite boys, Draco and Harry, I am here to implore you to dig into their Yuri!!! on Ice fics on AO3, even if you aren't familiar with the source material!

Bee takes all the tenderness, care, and intimacy which which they write their Drarry stories and carefully molds it to fit these two lovely, anxious men. What I love most about Bee's writing is that they are able to gently pick up two characters, see right to the heart of them, and then translate all their deepest desires and fears right onto the page in beautiful prose (and sometimes verse!). This means that while morning light feels undeniably "Bee" in its tone, pacing, and use of endearments, the relationship between Viktor and Yuuri is unique and so true to their characters. Viktor (off-screen) is bold and confident and commanding, while Yuuri (everywhere, all the time) is anxious, self-effacing, and unsure. In this close, intimate moment Bee manages to capture all of their facets, allows them to let their guards down, and helps them to grow even closer to one another. This fic is warm, quiet, blushy, and so, so lovely!
