“ah-“ “-it’s so cold” beomgyu exclaimed, slightly moving away from you.

“stay still-“ you grabbed his face again, dabbing the concealer you had just put on his face with a sponge.

beomgyu had been all over you that night, begging you to recreate the makeup look you had on your last date with him. but he was just so cute doing it, there was no way you could ever refuse him. so now- here you were, beomgyu sitting down on the edge of your bed with you on a chair, leaning over to do the base of his makeup. your hands were shaking a bit, even though you weren’t gonna leave the house again after this was done. it was just beomgyu who got to see the result. perhaps that was actually the root of your worries, you were nervous whether beomgyu would like your work or not.

“my neck hurts” beomgyu complained again. you let out a laugh as you got up, wanting to get your eyeshadow palette from the nightstand.

beomgyu’s arms suddenly wrapped around your waist, bringing you down with him on the bed. “w-what was that for?” you asked, flustered by his actions.

“i think i like this position better- my neck feels more relaxed this way.” he replied with a shrug.

beomgyu’s hands rested on your waist as you straddled his hips and continued continued your work. sometimes his fingeres travelled down to your thighs, tracing patterns on the velvety material of your pants. you grabbed his face again. every single one of your touches had his body melting underneath you, he was so infatuated with you, simply letting you do whatever you needed without questioning anything. he was content watching you do your thing, enjoying how all of your attention was on him and him only.

“your eyelashes are so pretty” you whispered, putting on a light coat of mascara on him. your cold fingers touched his skin, soothing down the burning sensation that bloomed in his cheeks from such simple words. your hand slid down to take hold of his chin and lift it up “pout your lips for me gyu”

“do i get a kiss if i do that?” beomgyu asked you cutely, voice laced with honey.

you playfully tilted your head to the side “maybe” you teased.

beomgyu closed his eyes, pouting his lips exaggeratedly. the feeling of the lipstick touching him instead of your own lips made him open them again. beomgyu huffed; he looked at the floor, sulking, instead of looking at you. you held back the urge to laugh and carried on with the final step, blending the crimson color with the pad of your fingers, feeling his plush lips against your skin. you could notice the way his face lit up, eyes glistening with mischief from the idea that just crossed his mind. one way or another, he was going to receive the kiss that he wanted from you “you know what this lipstick would look good on?”

“hm?” you lifted your eyebrows, waiting for beomgyu’s response.

“you” he answered, giving you a quick peck, chuckling at your surprised face.

you glanced at his lips, smudged lipstick on his face inviting you to mess it up even more. you leaned down, moving away the bangs covering his face to return the favor.

the continuous tentative pecks slowly raised in intensity, and with each kiss you would linger against his lips more, blood rushing through your veins. beomgyu took hold of you, rolling you on the bed so that you could be the one underneath him. he held your wrists above your head with one hand, his other one playing with some strands of your hair as he left kisses all over your cheeks, red marks from the lipstick blossoming along, as a clear sign of his adoration towards you. beomgyu’s heart fluttered at the sight, he took the lipstick tube and placed it in your hand, silently asking for more. he pouted his lips once again, and this time, you couldn’t resist him. your lips captured his in a shy, chaste kiss before fulfilling his request. the corners of his lips turned up and he gazed directly into your eyes as you colored his lips again. then, his head dived down, painting your neck with the same crimson marks that adored your cheeks. he nipped and gently bit at your skin, his tongue swiftly gliding over those same spots, letting out a sigh as he let himself become more and more absorbed by you, the worry of keeping his makeup intact long forgotten. he covered you with his love, slightly pulling the collar of your shirt down to cover the area right underneath your collarbone with more kisses. as much as beomgyu relished telling you that he loved you, he was much fonder of showing his endearment towards you through actions. he loved seeing how you couldn’t control the blush rushing into your cheeks as he kissed you, how you held on tighter to the sleeves of his sweatshirt as he travelled down your body, soft gasps escaping past your lips whenever his kisses turned slow and sensuous.

his face came back up, rosy lips curving into a smirk as he looked at you again “what a beautiful sight”

Just sharing a bath with Jouno who calls your precious flower soap a 'weed' soap- (i mean the things you want to get rid from garden, not drugs- ಥ_ಥ)

A faint smell of flowers was filling your nose, bringing a picture of plains full in bloom at sunny, april day to your mind. Pleasant warmth of water embracing your body like a cozy blanket and bubbles tickles your soft skin.

A gentle smile was plastered to your face and relaxed sigh left your lips, while leaning your back further...

"You are crushing me."

Slightly annoyed voice, coming from behind to your ears, slowly brings you to return to reality, after wandering around the flower patches in your mind.

"I thought, you were enjoying our bath together, Saigiku."

You said, tilting your head slightly to look at the face of white haired man behind you. Even if his voice was stern, trying his best to show 'dissatisfaction', Jouno face was telling a different story. Eyebrows raised up a little, a soft look remains on his features while his hand slowly and gently caressing your bare shoulder in lazy manner.

"Oh, of course i am enjoying, if only my nostrils wasn't be, now terrorised by the 'weeds' soap you poured into water, Dear~"

A small chuckle followed his words, while your elbow nudged into his chest at his remark.

"I would like to remind you, that you were present while buying this soap"

"I was? I don't remember such an event."

His voice was clearly teasing, trying to get under your skin just by a little, enjoying how your heartbeat sounds a little troubled now. Jouno leans his head back, over the bathtub wall, a grin rising on his lips while listening to your sounds.

"Also i didn't poured too much..."

You mumbled quietly, resting your head on his shoulder.

Small drops of water slowly flowing on the skin of his neck. Your eyes was glued at this sight, as the wet trails made by water go through all the curves of Jouno neck to his chest and disappears under the layer of soft foam with bubbles.

This cloudly looking form is blocking you from seeing any more of his light skin and subtle muscles....maybe you really poured too much?

"Did someone getting here some inappropriate thoughts? Hmm?~"

You can feel a gentle pinch on your cheek and a another cocky chuckle, making you jolt your head straight. A rosie colour appears on your, now slightly flustered, face.

"I don't-"

As you wanted to deny, Jouno placed his finger on your lips to stopped your words and he continue. He brings his face closer to yours, having a sly smile attached.

"I told you....many times...that your heartbeat is your biggest traitor~ Revealing all your secrets, without words leaving your lips."

Jouno whispered close to your ear, his voice was leaking with teasing and a tint of flirt. He begins to brushing your bottom lip with his thumb while, the rest of his hand holding you under chin, making sure to have you in place.

Like for his delight, your heart was fluttering faster and louder as the words filled your mind. To put you even more on edge, his other hand moves from your arm, slipping down, under the bubble layer, finding his way to your waist. Jouno fingertips, smoothly caresses the skin, giving you a tingling sensation through your body.

"Something wrong? Did water is too warm and makes your naughty head dizzy? Or the flowery scent is to blame for that?"

He snicker, feeling your lips pressing together under his thumb.

"Can you at least once, don't tease me?"

You mumbled, as your words only shows more signs of embarrassment.

*Splash*

For the revenge, you moves your hand to splash some water to his direction. Enjoying, Jouno's surprised expression when water in flash, hits his face. This was one of the rare moments, very short, but so adorable. Peak up eyebrows, small gap created by his mouth, from usually composed and proud Jouno to 'dumbfounded kitten' who discoveres the world for first time.

A soft hum leaves his lips, after recovering of your 'attack' and mocking grin returns to the proper place. Jouno takes his hand away from your chin and place it on other side of your waist, to accompany the another.

"I just showing my care for you and what i receives in return? A soapy water to my mouth." He said with a little amused tone, holding you tighter to his chest. Jouno lips hovering over yours, a slight brush of his nose makes you giggle as it tickles.

A warm feeling embrace your heart at this intimate moment lingering for few moments longer. Like time just stopped in place and there's nothing beside the two of you, his relaxed breath caressing your face like a morning breeze.

Gently tucking, some stray strands of hair, behind his ear, you gives him a small peck on lips.

A sweet smile appears on Jouno face as he returns the act of affection. There no rush, a slow but tender movements of his lips over yours, bringing butterflies to your stomach. His hands caressing your delicate skin on waist, a content sighs goes between the kisses as the moment getting more passionate.

Your fingertips finds their way to his cheek, slowly wandering to his neck. Every fleetering touch brings a slight shiver through Jouno.

Jouno squeezed your sides, making you gasp at the sudden action. Using the gap, Jouno slide his tongue through your lips and 'dare' yours for a small dance. Hard to resist this sly fox of yours, who always finding a way to melt you in his arms.

Feeling your cheeks rising to more reddish color as the tongues tangled together.

There were one desire - to stay like this, close, sharing the same space, air. A feeling of being safe - beloved one who showers you and only you with a special affection. Jouno softness that only is reserved for you.

After this heated moment, Jouno breaks the kiss, sending to your direction a gentle smile, before nuzzling his face to crook of your neck. Taking a deep inhale of the scent, like a try to engrave it, this fragrance and moment in his mind.

"I taking this overly affection, as you being in total relaxation at this moment.~"

You tried to tease him, just a little bit and Jouno lifted his head to whisper into your ear.

"Maybe i am, but this doesn't changing a fact that the 'weeds' still bothers me."

Jouno chuckles when he hears an irritated sigh coming from you.

"This is not a 'weeds' smell but a flower and herb scent soap. I prefer when your mouth is busy with something, so you wouldn't complain too much."

As you says this words, a small light bulb brighten in Jouno mind.

"Oh?~ You prefer, my mouth being busy? If that so...What about, my dear flower, to made me busy in more dry place?~

His voice was low and suggestive, a smile tainted with mischiev. Your heart skip a beat, taking a note of all his words. Jouno nodded at the reaction before adding.

"So let's leave this water pool, before we both gonna complain about wrinkles fingertips."

A flower scent still lingers, as the memory of colorful plains in april day....sharing a warm smiles with the dearest of your heart...a very peaceful day~

Summary: A fun and cute Lego flowers date with Jake! masterlist

It was a sunny afternoon which called for a picnic date by the river downtown. You and your boyfriend made it a hobby to tire yourselves out with dates like going to the movies, checking new restaurants, library dates, café hopping and so much more. But having a picnic was not yet included in the list.

“Love, do you wanna go out with me?” You asked your boyfriend who’s busy scrolling through his phone. Both of you were glued to the bed all day so it was not a bad idea to go outside. He looked at you and raised his brows.

“Why? I’m already going out with you.” He replies while biting down his lower lips, anticipating your reaction. This made your heart crush in a good way but you were not about to flirt with your bf this minute. Rolling your eyes, you hit his ankles which made him giggle. (I’M NEVER OKAY WHEN HE GIGGLES ISTG)

“Do you want to go out? Love?” He says, not forgetting to mention the word that just makes you want to float around and scream.

You looked at him and noticed the unsure look on his face. You guessed he was not in the mood to do anything at the moment. But you had something planned out, and you didn’t know how long it would take him before he found that surprise, so you had to do it today.

“Yeah, I kinda have a plan...” You were starting to doubt your idea. His expression changed to one of puzzlement. “What is it?” He asks delightfully. You cleared your throat, scared that you’d break his expectations. Now you were 70% close to not pushing through the idea.

“Uhmmm... A picnic date maybe? BUT it’s fine if you don’t want to, I know you just want to rest toda-” You were cut off when he placed his hand over your mouth to shut you up. He looks at you lovingly and giggles one more time (I’M NOT OKAY) before standing up and getting both your arms, forcing you to stand up too. He then places your arms around his waist, pulling you in for a hug. He sways you around slightly before kissing the top of your head.

“Don’t be anxious when you want to ask me something. I’m sure it’ll be lovely. Even if it’s not, I’ll still do it if it makes you happy, love.” He gives you one more sway before letting go. “Get dressed. I’ll go and pack food.” He leaves the room, leaving you frozen. It was during these times that your love for him was just overflowing.

Eventually, you get dressed like he said and packs the essentials. You went and grabbed one of your stocked blankets, which was big enough for the both of you. You folded it and put it inside a paper bag, that had the surprise inside. It was the main star of the day. You were strolling around the mall on one of your dates when you found these cute Lego flowers and you just had to buy them. Not to mention your boyfriend’s undying love for Legos. You managed to secretly purchase it, and now it was time to finally show it.

When you went outside of the room, you spot Jake, seated on the couch with a basket beside him. He raised his eyes from his phone to you and smiled. “You look lovely. I’ll change my clothes, then we’re set to go.” He stands up and goes to the room, but he managed to kiss your cheeks when he walked past you. This made your heart skip a beat. It always does.

“Thank you for suggesting this, Love. I really needed this.” Jake said, admiring the river view, his hair dancing with the air majestically. How does he do this?

You quickly laid down the blanket, feeling good about this. Everything was set. The air, the food, the view, your boyfriend. Literally everything you could ask for in life.

Both of you were silent, but not awkwardly silent. It was comforting. You enjoyed each other’s company.

You stood up, realizing it was the perfect time to do it. Jake was quietly staring at you, looking confused. When you took out the Lego box, his face lit up, and the smile on his face was adorable. He snatched the box from your hands and read the packaging, his smile not failing to drop.

You watched him with adored eyes as you watched him inspect the box happily, even giggling a bit. (I REPEAT, I’M NOT OKAY).

He stands up and gives you the tightest hug ever. You had to forcefully push him away because you couldn’t breath. His eyes glisten looking straight through your eyes. “I love you” he says softly, half whispering. You cupped his face and kissed his nose. “Anything for you, Love. Shall we start?” You asked him excitedly. He nods quickly and grabs your hand, leading you back to the blanket. “We shall.”

You spent the rest of the afternoon trying to build the set, arguing a few times before completing it.

“To my dearest, Lover.” He says handing you the Lego flowers with the sweetest smile. “Why, thank you, lovely sir.” You played along, accepting the flowers. You both laughed and fell into a quiet void. Just staring at each other until one of you melts.

He drags himself beside you and lays on your lap. You played with his hair, and he squinted his eyes in return. “Just like these Lego flowers, my love for you will never wither”.

There's a star burning / somewhere in the sky above the earth / where flowers do not grow

Happy (belated) Birthday to my special boy <333 ----------------------------------------------------- (Each type of flowers represents both the giver and Hordak himself)

Forget-me-nots (Entrapta) - Flower of remembrance and devotion. Flower of undying love, precious memories and eternal bond, strong and unbreakable even during lingering separation

Aster flowers (the alliance, but it was Adora's idea) - The star flower. Flower of faith. Protection from any troubles and misfortunes. Sometimes the message behind such gift means: "I wish it was different, I'm sorry it went like this" or "Take care of yourself for me"

Cornflowers (Imp) - Loyalty and trust. Also being a symbol of impermanence (since cornflowers come in variety of colors) this flower shows the fun and joyful aspect of change

Dandelions (Kadroh) - Happiness and joy. Hope, growth, healing. Transience of time. The message behing the gift can mean: "I'm happy we can share these moments together" or "I'm happy that we get to heal together"

Red poppy flowers - just a reference to one lil comic. Just a gift from big brother. Just because they reminded him of Hordak's eyes ;)))

White daffodils (clone brothers) - rebirth, new beginnings. They represent the process of self-discovery through inner reflection and self-observation. Being the first flowers to bloom in spring daffodils triumph over gloom, numbness and detachment of winter sleep and death

as an aspec, spop will always frustrate me.

nearly all the characters are paired up in romantic relationships, in turn devaluing the friendships and other kinds of relationships the show always promoted. especially the best friends squad. they try to include catra but for most of the season, the plot pushes away glimmer and bow to give catra and adora more time alone. and to me that is literally the only reason why they shipped glimmer and bow all of a sudden, when there was never any indication of a romance blooming between them.

and i get so angry seeing that the only popular ace headcanon in this fandom is entrapta, who's the only (confirmed) autistic character in the show. like, autistic aces certainly exist, but both of these groups tend to be infantilized and/or treated like they're "less human". and again, this is the ONLY spop character widely accepted to be asexual (and also aromantic sometimes). you don't often see other aspec headcanons, other than maybe hordak. which is also kinda iffy to me since he's not a "human", he's a horde clone. like this wouldn't be a problem to me if there were MORE aspec characters of ALL kinds.

like i looked it up on google but as far as i went, the crew-ra simply doesn't bat an eye at aspec identities. i hate how articles will be like "spop has great lgbtqia+ rep!", pretty much FORGETTING about the A letter there.

and the fans don't give a shit, i've gotten hate for being upset about the lack of aspec representation in this show. "but we already got queer rep!" except they mostly mean the romance. like there are trans and non-binary characters, but it's not even that relevant to the show, most of them were confirmed outside of it. that, and double trouble is a lizard disguising as a little girl. yeah.

anyway, i've ranted about this a lot but this show and this fandom don't feel welcoming to me. obviously, spop is not the only media that ignores/disrespects aspec folks, but i'm so tired of everyone making the show and the community look like a safe place, when it's probably one of the most hostile fandoms i've ever seen.

Thinking about the significance of falling when it come to Catradora. Obviously the imagery of cliffs, holding on to each other, and letting go are all significant in the narrative when it comes to their relationship. Two instances in particular stand out to me though as notable parallels. Catra falling into the portal and re-emerging as a twisted version of herself is very much in conversation with Adora falling into the chasm in the First One’s Temple and re-emerging as someone closer to the She-Ra that Light Hope (or her original programming) wants her to be. In both cases they’re reacting to having just experienced a mindbending mimicry of their lives together in the Horde before they split up. This is so eerie partially because reality is being expertly bent in both cases since there is a lot of truth woven into what Adora and Catra are seeing.

Adora is forced to literally let go (of her hold on the Cliff, her memories of Catra, her current feelings about Catra)/fall into the chasm. Light Hope has been trying to get her to let go the whole time because Adora’s attachment to other people threatens the First One’s plans to turn her into a weapon. Isolation. Other people are keeping her human. That of course extends to the Best Friends Squad, though it’s true that everyone expects too much of her, even the people she’s closest with. I think that’s one of the things that makes her relationship with Catra bloom in season 5. Catra wants Adora, specifically, not She-Ra. She is protective of Adora the person in a way that other people aren’t necessarily because she has an understanding of her that Bow and Glimmer aren’t going to have since they didn’t grow up with her in the Horde. Once Catra moves on from feeling in competition with Adora, then she can fully embrace her feelings. But anyway, tangent.

Adora being forced to let go/fall from the cliff is just the continuation of the idea that Adora feels like she has to choose the greater good over her own wants such as when she chooses the Rebellion over Catra. In her mind, she feels like there isn’t a choice. She has to leave Catra, even though she doesn’t want to do so. Light Hope is trying to take advantage of that trait for her own purposes, pushing Adora to follow orders and do what is best in the minds of the First Ones.

Now, Catra. Catra lets go of the cliff herself as reality is being pulled apart. This whole scene says so much about where her character is at this point in the plot. First of all, she tries to drag Adora down with her. She can’t stand the idea of Adora being better than her and on the moral high ground because part of that competitive dynamics is very much rooted in Shadow Weaver’s treatment of them both as children. Adora was prioritized. Catra was directly compared to Adora negatively and threatened with harm if she interfered with Adora’s “progress” in any way. Catra and Adora are both self-destructive at two ends of the same spectrum and the pressure/trauma caused by The Horde & First Ones are pushing them to extremes. Isolating extremes. Catra constantly feels a lack of safety and struggles with self-hatred. Catra lets go as she stares Adora in the eyes because she doesn’t feel worth much. I think that’s symbolic of her constantly pushing other people away on purpose as a way to both punish and protect herself.

When Catra re-emerges as Corrupted Catra we can see that her loathing for what Adora represents in her life has been taken to an extreme. I’m a believer that Corrupted Catra is just that. She’s still partially herself, but all of her instincts are taken to an extreme and it’s a raw expression of her hurt. Her pain is being visually symbolized by pieces of her simply being gone. This is another representation of the affect trauma is having on her and her life. That entire scene is brutal and it is good that Adora finally stands up for herself since obviously Catra is not justified in lashing out, but as she stands over Catra’s passed-out body, I think it’s a reminder that circumstances have been out of their control for a long while now. Trauma can isolate and push people away from each other (even when they need each other for healing), as well as away from being able to fully express themselves.

Then season 5 rolls around. Healing. Other people. Wanting. Self-expression. Wonderful things. Catra and Adora being together - what they bring out in each other - challenges both Shadow Weaver and the Horde’s purposes for them. Together, they defy control. You see, if they are able to truly love and connect with each other, then Adora might not conform to what the First One’s want of her and once Catra is able to move beyond the barriers in her relationship with Adora placed there by Shadow Weaver, she can’t be controlled by the Horde anymore either. They are defiance and self-expression and love and I’m totally obsessed with this show, aren’t I?
