I just find it funny that there's mountains of posts whining and crying about atheists being ignorant and misinformed meanwhile the original posters end up spewing some ignorant, misinformed bullshit about atheists or atheism in the same breath.

I want to apologize to the Earth for all the beautiful sunrises and sunsets I didn’t give her credit for because I was attributing it to god. You did that, queen!

Everyone, just be good humans. I’m so tired…
People who are “anti-woke” are people that are asleep— they’re sheep. It's ignorance and fear. They like to deceive… manipulate. Don’t let them brainwash you.
Just be kind. It’s not hard.
Love your neighbor.
Stay woke.

Saw this on a veggie tales TikTok and it’s healing. I love veggie tales. But I will never be able to watch it without all the thin the church did and God didn’t do.
So watching non Christian enjoy veggie tales for it being a funny and not biblical lesson is healing

hello!
i wanted to ask if you are comfortable and haven't already answered a similar question; how did you realise that you're agnostic, not just that the church isn't true?
i'm struggling to understand if the bible and BoM are still right and it's just the mormon church's organisation that's wrong, or if it was all a lie.
sorry if this made you uncomfortable or anything!
Hi! Thank you for the ask! (also I'm not uncomfortable with this just so you know) There were a few experiences leading up to me leaving the church, but there was one experience in particular that "broke my shelf." For basically my entire life, I've known something was off about the way I experience attraction, and one night it all came together in the fact that I am a lesbian. Things started moving very quickly, and I made the decision to choose myself, my identity, and my future over the church and what they lay out and said about gay people. I didn't want to live a life that suppressed me because of who I was. I stopped believing in the church very soon after that. In my experience, I also stopped believing in God, Christ, and Christianity as a whole (though this doesn't happen to all exmormons). I consider myself an "agnostic atheist" because while I don't believe in gods or supernatural beings, I believe in spirituality and have formed my own spiritual connections with nature and the universe (in a pagan, animistic type way). My advice for figuring out if you believe in the church or not is to think about why you want to leave it versus why you might want to stay. What scriptures, doctrines, practices, or other things stand out to you on either side of the argument? Think about what would happen if you left the church, how would you feel? what would your life look like moving forward? would you be happy with that? And then, think about what would happen if you stayed, how would you feel? what would your life look like moving forward? would you be happy with that? I would also advise you to look at what other Christians have to say, to see if you still believe in God and Christ, etc. What are their interpretations of the Bible and doctrine and do any of them speak to you? What do you think/how do you feel about the idea of a God and Savior (or just one of those?)? (also the idea of the Trinity?) If you're able, it might also help to attend other churches and see what you think about them. Even if you don't end up picking a church, it might be good to see Christianity and religion from a non-mormon perspective. This ended up being really long but I hope it helps. I know I gave you a lot of questions to ask yourself, but whatever you end up believing in, I hope you're able to reflect on your beliefs and come to a decision that feels right for you. If you end up leaving mormonism, then I can tell you the road ahead will be hard and full of bumps. But in the end, you may find that a whole new world has opened up to you. And if you stay, then I wish you well. I hope you're able to live a fulfilling life. Good luck, and I'm always here if you have more questions or just wanna say something :)

WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE GEMINIS??
I'm not really spiritual at all, so I don't believe in astrology, but it's really interesting and fun to me. I really just don't understand why everyone hates geminis..
For context I am a gemini...

every time i see someone exclude, mock or ignore queer religious people's existence (whether from bigoted religious people or bigoted queer people) i think it should be perfectly acceptable for us to punch them in the face for that

People really need to learn and comprehend the fact that just because their life felt meaningless and empty without religion or some type of spirituality, that doesn't mean everyone feels that way. Quit fucking implying or outright saying that atheists are somehow broken and incomplete because some of us don't practice a religion or have any spiritual beliefs. We're not missing out on anything, you're just a narrow minded asshole who can't comprehend experiences outside your narrow scope of the world.

what agnostic atheism means to me
I identify as an agnostic atheist, meaning that I don't believe in any gods or higher powers, however if one were to show up on earth one day then I could believe it. What it also means to me is that I refuse to worship any gods. The only person who can decide what my life will look like and what I do with it is me. As an example, let's say the christian god came down to earth today to proclaim his existence, gospel, and inviting coercing us to worship him. Would I believe in him then? Yes, since I have irrefutable evidence that he really exists. Would I worship him or rejoin christianity? No, of course not! I know from my own experiences with christian doctrine that he's an awful god and doesn't deserve any of my time, talents, respect, or worship. So, I'd go around believing in him, but I wouldn't support or worship him. (Even with the threat of damnation and hell - I'd rather be in hell than christian heaven. Especially with threats like that, coercion is not how you convince someone to like you.) If any god were to proclaim their existence today, I'd believe them, but I wouldn't join their religion or worship them, no matter what they threaten to do to me. My freedom to do what I want with my life belongs to me and me alone, and I won't give up my life for a higher power that believes they deserve my respect.
