It wasn’t meant to become more than a semester fling — nothing more than a few nights you had spent wrapped up in Luke, basking in all of his attention. What the two of you hadn’t expected, however, was the reality that you now faced: those nights had become something much more, and regardless of where you stood in each other’s lives, both of you were ready for the frenzied kisses behind closed doors to turn into daytime dates, and to finally take the next step in actually creating a relationship.

That, of course, would have been a lot easier if you weren’t a Fantilli, and if your brothers weren’t best friends with the boy you had fallen in love with over the past year. You knew Luke and Adam were friends; it was evident every time he’d come over, or when you’d find them lounging around after practice — hell, it was even evident in the way that people got the names “Luca” and “Luke” mixed up on the ice, and would call your brother “Luke” before he realized that they were talking to him.

Despite these feelings, you knew dating each other wouldn’t garner the best reaction from your brothers; they were protective of their baby sister, and despite playing on the same team as him, and being close friends, no one wanted their teammates to date their little sister, right?

Now, this wouldn’t have bothered the two of you that much; atleast, it wouldn’t have been if you hadn’t ended up at said boy’s lake house, where you would be spending the rest of your summer.

When the idea of joining the Hughes boys at their lake house was first brought up, you were privy to the conversation in a way no one would have ever imagined. In fact, when dates were being discussed between Luke, Jack, and Quinn, the older two Hughes brothers didn’t even know you were there, and how could they? You were wrapped up in Luke’s hoodie, the entirety of your face turned away from the camera, hiding the fact you were even listening at all — and to be entirely fair, you weren’t, considering you were half-asleep. So, it was set — the Fantilli’s would be invited alongside the rest of the UMich boys — and, of course, you’d be invited too; an extension of Adam and Luca that they all didn’t even think twice about.

Now, though, as you sat on the floor of your bedroom in the lake house, you couldn’t help but also feel like, despite how much you were looking towards the weeks you’d spend out in the sun, that you still wouldn’t be able to enjoy the summer — not when Luke was just two doors down, but was basically untouchable. Since you’d come along, and since the lake house only housed a good fifteen people, you had been given your own room — the small attic bedroom at the very top of the stairs — while Luca and Adam shared the one next to you, and Luke and Dylan shared the other; Jack and Quinn were sharing, and Trevor and Cole had been sent to the couch. The rest of the boys were spread around the house, with some sleeping on the various air mattresses, while others cooped up in the remaining bedrooms.

So, in order to try and remedy this type of situation — to try and keep your relationship strong in the face of also keeping it private, you decided not to announce it to your brothers, or to the rest of the lake house crew. For now, you wanted to keep it just between the two of you — romance wasn’t dead simply because you kept it from everyone else, right?

This line of thinking, however, brought you into your current predicament — or, more accurately, the predicament you kept finding yourself in. While the days passed and you spent more and more time surrounded by the boys, you were always acutely aware that you were surrounded by Luke, too. But, in order to try and keep yourselves put together, the only way the two of you actually saw or interacted with each other was in the moments when you’d pass by each other in the hallway, or in the kitchen, or even on the couch — the moments in which you could feel your hands brushing against each other, your pinky finger wrapping around his until you heard someone else’s footsteps come along, and you were forced to separate.

It was those small touches that led you to where you are now, a few days into the trip. It was nearing 2AM when everyone finally retired to their rooms, the boys finally giving up on their FIFA tournament they were having downstairs, and finally calling it a night after Quinn and Cole made Zegras clean up his spilled beer. When you were sure you had heard everyone finally pack up, you heard the sounds of a door quietly shutting — almost imperceptible if you weren’t waiting for it.

After a few seconds, you saw your door knob move slowly — and you knew who it was. After the day the two of you had, when Luke had been caught looking at his phone a few too many times, and was chirped at by the boys, you knew he’d end up in your room tonight.

As the door slowly opened, in came Luke — his curls still wet from his shower, and skin red from his time in the sun. He shut the door quickly behind himself, spinning to look at you. You were sitting on the bed, now in your pajamas and fresh-faced after washing out the lake water from your hair, the smile on your face soft, and solely reserved for the man standing in front of you.

“Well, hello there stranger,” you whispered, still caught up in not trying to get caught by your neighbors. When you moved to the edge of the bed, Luke walked towards you slowly, until he stood right in front of you, forcing you to crane your neck in order to look up at him.

Slowly, his right hand came up from his side to cup your jaw, his left hand copying the motion. Still looking at you, he lowered himself until he was hovering above you, his eyes meeting you. He still hadn’t said anything to you, but fuck, was that a sight — Luke looking at you in a way that made you fell like he was peeling back all of your layers; in a way that made you feel almost shy.

Still only millimeters away from your lips, he smiled softly. “Hi, pretty girl,” he whispered back, and god if his voice didn’t do things to you. It was raspy from his yelling earlier that day, but was still soft enough to remind the two of you what you were doing went against everything you had set for yourselves. In fact, anyone could have opened the door and pieced together what was going on between the two of you almost instantly. It was best if you simply moved fast and kept quiet, but you wanted your boy nonetheless.

As Luke kissed you, you could almost feel every single time you had almost been caught on the trip — and the kiss was a reminder of how you were breaking your boundaries. Luke kissed you like a man starve — his soft lips grazing your own in a way that sent chills down your spine, but that lit you up at the same time; you were addicted to him, and he wouldn’t believe half of the things you thought about him n a daily basis, and most importantly, about his lips. In fact, Luke Hughes kissed like no other man you knew; he cradled your jaw in his right hand, while his left went to undo the ponytail you had thrown it up into earlier — unraveling your hair and pulling at the strands so he could tilt your head just right — and just so he could hear your little soft gasp as he bit on your bottom lip.

Pulling away, his eyes (and your own, no doubt,) were hazed over. “You know, I saw you out there today,” you said. You didn’t mean that you saw him as simply part of the group, but that you had seen the moments that no one else caught.

You saw him waiting for you at the end of the hall, always making sure you were never the last one to leave the house, and you saw the way his hand had flexed after it had brushed yours. You had even seen him roll his eyes whenever the boys would chirp at you — because, in a way, Luke wanted that. He wanted the ability to simply hold you in public, to be seen with you without fear of retaliation, or of the fear that you’d get hurt.

“Did you, huh?” he asked. “I’m sorry I didn’t get to you earlier — I kept trying to get you away from everyone else, but it’s kind of hard to do that when they’re being idiots,” he laughed. He was right — the boys were a handful, and even more so that they had started day drinking earlier.��

Your only response was to laugh softly, and move yourself up the bed, dragging Luke with you. You knew it’d be risky to have him in your room for long, but you just wanted to be with your boy for a while — which is how, after Luke had shuffled off to turn off the lights and crawl into bed with you, you felt his arms encircle you as the two of you laid down facing each other. His right hand came up to move the pieces of hair that had found their way on to your face, and he simply smiled at you, bring you closer to him.

It was in that position that, almost nine hours later, you were woken up by the sound of your door barging open, and the sound of your brother's voices cutting off mid-sentence.

You and Luke had fallen asleep after all and before he could wake up and sneak into his own room, you heard Luca and Adam (followed by Duker, asking the other boys if they knew where Luke had gone,) arguing about something or the other, but didn’t really care until your door was opened — and whatever argument they were having turned into both brothers yelling “What the fuck?” as Duker followed them in, beginning to laugh almost immediately.

Before you could answer, or even untangle yourself from Luke, who was wrapped around you like a koala at this point, you felt him kiss your forehead, and whisper — for your ears only — ”guess they see us too, now.”

-Jeff The Killer: 20

Jeff got burned at the age of 15, at his most important birthday. His parents were seeing a therapist while Liu was still in prison, and his therapist made a suggestion to Jeff's parents to organize a birthday party for cheering Jeff up. Jeff can never forget the day he was burned alive because his whole life was shaped by it. That's why he hates his own birthday and attacks if anyone tries to celebrate besides Liu.

- Clockwork: 20

Clockwork's most important birthday is the 18th age. Because that was the first year she wasn't on her own. Jeff, Toby, Nina were close friends of Clockwork at the time and each had their own small-scale celebration. For the first time, Clockwork didn't hate her own birthday. That's how she got into the habit of celebrating other people's birthdays, if she felt good about something stupid like that, the people who cared about her might also deserve to feel good in a stupid way, or something like that.

According to Brian, the most important birthday is the one he celebrated at the age of 10. His family had taken him to see a theater as a gift, and little Brian was so impressed that he was literally obsessed with theater performances and musicals after that show. Even though 10-year-old Brian is the reason why he is where he is right now, Hoodie never blames him for following his dream.

His most important birthday is the 20th, when he started working under Slenderman's orders. The year he realized that his life would be like this and that he would have to spend more than he hoped in this job, that fighting would only cause him to die sooner. Obviously, he didn't care about himself, he'd rather die than live this way, but he didn't want to leave Brian alone.

- Ticci Toby: 19

15th birthday. The last year he celebrated with Lyra and his mother since he was a proxy at the age of 16, he celebrated rest of his birthdays as a proxy. Toby doesn't remember all of his memories, and although most of the time his memories are more like pieces, he knows that two women named Lyra and Connie are worth worlds to him. And every time the fragments of that birthday come in front of him, he feels nothing but happiness.

-Eyeless Jack: 21

↺Actually, if he was still alive, he would have been 34. Because he was 21 when he died during the ritual in 1980.

The most important birthday is the year he received the letter of admission to medical school at the age of 18. He had received this a letter a few days ago, and he and his family had thrown a big party to celebrate it. Although he spent his 19th birthday, his first year of studying med, with his family, the most important thing for him is his 18th age.

21, when Mary proposed to her on her birthday. Jane was in a very emotionally repressed state after all her trauma, and Mary could no longer control her feelings for her. While Jane and her lover Mary were sitting in a fashionable restaurant, Mary proposed to Jane. And when there was a lot of opposition because the age group was generally old due to the cost of the restaurant, Jane kissed her on the lips so as not to discourage Mary. The best birthday of her life.

-X-Virus: 17

7th age. That year, he had gone to the zoo on a school trip and celebrated his birthday with the animals there instead of people. This is the biggest proof that he prefer animals' existence to humans. Of course, he might have been happier if a monkey hadn't stolen his food, but little Cody wasn't mad at the monkey then. And when the monkey saw that Cody was upset later, he gave him some of his food anyway.

16th birthday. She and Jeff hadn't made up yet and it was a day when she was really hurt emotionally by him. Her close friend Kate, who saw this, tried to kill Jeff. Although Nina could hardly stop her, Kate was convinced later and they went to hang out at Kate's special place together. Kate was a really special friend to Nina, and she liked that she knew that Kate opened herself up so much. And when Kate dropped her home in the evening, she found Toby and Clockwork were clumsily trying to celebrate her birthday, she cried because of cuteness.

The first year she spent with Nina as a lover, 20th age. They had become lovers a few months ago, and unlike other proxies, Kate did not remember anything about her past, so she had no memories to miss. Nina had known her since she found Jeff at the age of 15 and was after him. They became close friends when Kate was 17 and Nina was 16, and they started dating when Nina was 19 and Kate was 20. Their relationship began when Kate took pity on Nina and helped her, and Nina helped her during difficult times where Kate tried to expertize in proxy work. The year they became lovers, Nina organized a special day just for the two of them, knowing that she wouldn't want a big party, and Kate's favorite moment was when they watched the sunset with one head phone.

- Emily and Aaron both took dance when they were younger. Hotch was kinda forced to by his mother but secretly liked it, especially the being partnered up with pretty girls part. Emily was a full on pro ballerina by age nine. She still takes ballet classes in her free time because it helps ease anxiety. Definitely giving black widow movie vibes, like spy AND ballerina, we love to see it. Anyway, they bond over this when they first get together and decided to take couples classes. They do anything from salsa dancing to tap, Emily even persuades Hotch to take a dirty dancing class, AND HE IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD?!? The man is so tender and likes to take his time in a relationship so the intimacy in dirty dancing is like second nature to him and Emily definitely isn’t mad about it.

- They are both very much married to their work so every now and then they have to take a step back and remind themselves, and sometimes each other, that work isn’t the most important thing anymore. Hotch is actually better at making time because he’s had so many years with Jack. I also like to think that Emily is the Unit Chief and Aaron has semi retired but helps consult on cases across the country by the time they get together. Emily is definitely in charge of planning trips for the two of them, plus Jack whenever he wants to tag along.

- very much the definition of ‘touch him/her and i’ll kill you.’ vibes. They are both VERY passionate creatures and do get jealous often. Definitely not in a toxic way, they just love each other so much and never want the other to feel disrespected. Hotch will always have a hand on the small of her back when they are walking together. Emily eats ALL of it up cause her man is completely whipped for her.

- Aaron goes absolutely feral when Emily speaks French or any other language. He literally turns into Gomez Addams and is just like ‘My wife is the most gorgeous, smartest person to ever live!’

- Emily instantly connects with Jack because although her mother is still alive, Emily rarely got to spend time with her. So she definitely feels like she is healing a part of her younger self by being there for Jack. I don’t see Aaron and Emily having kids of their own. Jack being enough for Aaron and Emily maybe feeling as though she wouldn’t be a good mother. Aaron tells her how ridiculous that is because she’s a natural with Jack, but ultimately they decided to just focus on raising him.

- Emily does have five fur babies to take care of though. Soon after her and Aaron got married he gifted her with a cat he adopted from the pound. Little did he or the vet at the pound know that the cat was pregnant, so a couple months later the Hotchner family discovered a little surprise in the form of six baby kittens. Aaron talked Emily into giving two of them away, one to Spencer and one to JJ, but Emily insisted on keeping the rest. Of course Aaron couldn’t say no to her 🫶

- Aaron has a lot of PTSD from what happened with Haley. He has night terrors sometimes so bad that Emily finds him shaking and sobbing in his sleep some nights. If Emily takes to long running errands or maybe doesn’t answer a text over a certain amount of time Aaron’s anxiety sky rockets. But Emily is so patient with him. Staying up late to soothe him and going with him to his therapy sessions just to hold his hand in the waiting room. She’s his number one supporter and he doesn’t take that for granted.

Second Chances (part 2)

Synopsis: It’s six years later and both of your beautiful twin daughters are thriving. Jack went off to Atlanta and missed out on their lives he didn’t even know that you went through with the pregnancy, but he’ll soon find out.

Nine long months after being left to deal with your pregnancy on your own, you gave birth to your girls, Oaklyn and Emery. To say your pregnancy was rough would be an understatement. From the morning sickness all throughout your pregnancy, your emotions being all out of wack and constantly crying over Jack, and on top of that finding out you were pregnant with twins which meant you were now at a higher risk for complications, you were seriously going through it. You had your grandma and doctors in your ear constantly telling you to rest and stop stressing so much, but no matter how hard you tried you couldn’t. You were so scared. When Jack walked out of your life you had no idea how you were going to take care of a baby alone, let alone two at once. But you did it. You raised your beautiful baby girls for six years and you and the girls were happier than ever.

Jack and Urban left for Atlanta without you all those years ago. You never told Jack that you went through with the pregnancy, and you made sure everyone that knew never posted any pictures of them or talked about them on social media or around people that knew Jack. After a few long weeks you finally found the strength to block Jack on everything, you even went as far as to block Jack's parents and all of his friends. Looking back on it now that probably wasn’t the best decision, but you were hurting and you’d be damned if you let Jack anywhere near the kids he chose to leave behind. The only people who knew about your pregnancy were your grandma and your best friend Alyssa, and you even put your pride aside and let your parents know, even though you didn’t have the best relationship with them.

As the years went on it got harder to avoid Jack and people who were associated with him, hell the whole world was becoming familiar with Jack. Even though you had Jack blocked, you could never fully escape him, he was the talk of the town, the whole city of Louisville was talking about Jack. This had you on edge constantly paranoid that someone would recognize you and learn about your kids and it somehow getting back to Jack. But after two long years of living in fear, you decided that you weren’t going to let Jack destroy your dreams while he got to live out his. You had planned to go to college in Atlanta, but never ended up going for obvious reason, but you finally felt that it was time to let go of some of that fear and chase after what you wanted. So you packed up you and your kids and moved to Atlanta. You knew this was a risky move, moving to the same state and city that your ex, who also happened to be your babydaddy, lived in. You didn’t care though, you had worked your ass off since Jack left you.

You worked since finding out you were pregnant and was back at it a few weeks after giving birth. You knew you were going to need money to provide for you and your kids, so you took up multiple part-time jobs and even babysat on the side for some extra money, and a bonus was that you got to spend time with kids and learn a lot about how to take care of them since that’s what you’d be doing for the next 18 plus years. Your grandma and Alyssa would watch the kids which you were extremely grateful for. You and Alyssa’s relationship had grown so much since highschool, she was truly your best friend, so much so that you both agreed to move in together. When you packed up for Atlanta she packed up right with you.

You knew moving to a new state with toddlers was going to be a challenge, but at least you had Alyssa by your side. It didn’t take you long to settle in Atlanta. You, Alyssa, and the twins moved to a beautiful 4-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for the four of you. You decided on doing college online, pursuing a business and entrepreneurial degree, and got a job at a bar. You’d work night shifts so you could be home with your kids during the day, and do your work for school. Alyssa would work morning and evening shifts and when she got home sometimes she’d watch the kids, but you had found a nanny for the girls, who was always happy to come over at any time which you were extremely grateful for.

Alyssa came home from her shift at the salon, and you had the night off, which you loved so much. On your days off you could spend your night with your three favorite people instead of being surrounded by careless drunks. You were entirely expecting to sit around in the living room and watch movies and eat snacks with your kids and your best friend and just relax, but you were shocked when Alyssa suggested that you two go out that night.

“Come on Y/n, we’ve been here for six months and neither of us have done anything but work and come home. We should go out and try to make some connections and some friends,” Alyssa pleaded.

“What about Emery and Oaklyn? What if we run into Jack? Working and coming home aren’t that bad, I enjoy being home. We've gotten into a good routine,” you told her.

“Call over the nanny, she's always willing to watch the kids whenever, and stop worrying about Jack even if we do run into him he'll probably be too busy to even notice us. We need to break out of our routine a little and make some friends. I love you but I really want other people to talk to and hang out with, you know. It’ll help us feel more comfortable knowing we have more people to go to other than just ourselves.”

“Okay, fine but if this night goes terrible I’m never going out again,” you said sarcastically (not really).

“Great, call the nanny and let’s go get ready!”

You called over Noelle and she was happy to come over and watch the kids. You and Alyssa got ready just on time for Noelle to arrive. You opened the door and hugged her and told her you’d be back in a couple hours and she was welcome to sleep over. And with that you left and went off to the club.

You and Alyssa had, had a few drinks and were currently tipsy drunk and dancing on each other when you heard an unfamiliar voice beside you.

“Ouu girl you tryna come dance on me like that?” a man said half jokingly, but it made you and Alyssa very uncomfortable and you both gave him a dirty look. He put his hands up in defense and quickly realized he fucked up.

“Sorry, I thought you were some of my friends that I came with, guess I'm a little too tipsy,” he laughed.

“By the way my name is Druski, are you ladies new around here, I have never seen you guys here before,” he asked the two of you.

You looked at Alyssa, not knowing what to say. You were shy, you always have been. Alyssa took that as her que to introduce the both of you since she wasn’t shy at all really.

“Yeah we are actually, well we moved here six months ago, but this is our first time really getting out of the house and trying to meet new people,” Alyssa told him.

“Well shit if you’re looking for some new friends I'd be happy to introduce you to some of my other friends that I’m here with, you guys can come and sit up in our section if you want.”

“That sounds good, and thank you,” Alyssa said before Druski turned and led you guys up to his section where there were two women and a man sitting around and chatting amongst each other, whilst sipping on their drinks.

“Essence, Amara, Tae, this is…”

“I’m Alyssa and this is Y/n,” Alyssa said, giving the small group a friendly smile.

“I just met them downstairs, they’re new around town and looking to meet some new people and make friends so I thought I'd introduce them to y’all,” Druski explained.

This was the start of beautiful, and extremely close friendships. You, Alyssa, Essence, and Amara became the infamous friend group of four. You were all basically best friends and would hang out almost everyday, they’d be over at your apartment most of the time and you included going out to the club on weekends into your routine. You even became really close with Druski, he was like a big brother to you, he was truly the funniest person you knew. You loved all of them, but this new friendship would lead to your secret being exposed. Because while Dru was also getting extremely close to you, he was getting extremely close to Jack and neither of you knew.

4 years later (6 years after Jack leaving)

Druski had invited Jack and some of their mutual friends over to his house just for a little get together. And as usual Dru was trying to play matchmaker.

“Yo Jack, you think you’d be down to go on a date with one of my friends?” dru asked.

“You know I’m not looking for a relationship right now, but I guess a little date won’t hurt,” Jack laughed and Dru joined in.

“Yeaa, that’s the spirit, but I just wanna let you know that she is a single mother, but she has her own business and a college degree and she’s out here doing the thing. But it might take a little bit to break through the barrier she has set up. Her baby daddy left her when he found out she was pregnant,” Dru told Jack.

“What a piece of shit, but like I said it’s just a little date nothing too serious. What’s her name and what does she look like?” Jack asked

“Her name is y/n and thi-“

“What?” Jack interrupted before Dru could even finish his sentence. Jack and Urban shared this knowing look and Jack gulped, all of a sudden he was feeling sick. It couldn’t be you, could it? There’s no way. Dru lifted his phone to Jack and it was a picture of you and Alyssa at the opening of your own salon.

“She’s the one on the right. Yo, why do you look like you’ve just seen a ghost?” Dru laughed and asked Jack.

“Nothing. How old is the kid?”

“They’re six.”

“They?”

“Yea… I forgot to mention that she is a single mother of two. She has twins.”

Jack was silent. The memories of that day he found out you were pregnant flooded his mind. The kids were six that matched up perfectly with the timeline. He never knew you went through with the pregnancy. He honestly just assumed you hadn’t since she hadn’t said anything, he didn’t expect you to keep it from him.

“Jack…?”

“Look dru. What I’m about to tell you, you cannot tell a soul. And I apologize in advance because I know she’s your friend. But I think those might be my kids. Right after graduation me, her, and urban made plans to move out here to atlanta, and a few days before we were supposed to leave she told me she was pregnant and I panicked. I left her. I honestly thought she hadn’t went through with the pregnancy, but I guess I was wrong, she just never told me,” Jack admitted and the whole atmosphere of the room shifted.

“Why would she tell you? You left her, and her kids,” Dru said, he was visibly annoyed.

“I don’t know I just thought maybe she’d let me know because they are my kids too. But regardless, you think you can give me her address?”

Dru scoffed. He couldn’t believe what his friend was asking of him right now.

“Are you serious? I’m sure the last person she wants to see or talk to is you. What you did was really fucked up Jack. I never expected that from you.” Dru told him truthfully.

“Look I know I’m asking for a lot, but in order to try and make things better I need to talk to her, and I can’t do that if I don’t know where to find her. Please Dru.” Jack begged.

“Okay, but if you fuck this up more than you already have, I swear. There I just sent it to you, don’t fuck this up Jack.”

It was the next day and you decided you were going to go into the salon a little later today so that you could sleep in. And it was a Saturday so the kids didn’t have school. It was around 9 am when you heard a knock at your front door. You tried to just ignore it because who could be knocking at your door this early in the morning, but whoever was on the opposite side of the door wasn’t letting up. You pulled yourself from out of bed and made your way to the door. You didn’t even ask who it was you just swung the door open in annoyance and asked what they wanted. But when you saw who was on the opposite side of that door you were in disbelief.

“Jack? How the fuck did you find me ? Why are you here?” You asked him in one breath you were so nervous, you felt like you could throw up any minute.

“Yesterday Dru had tried to set me up on a date and when he told me with who he showed me a picture of you. He told me you had twins and how the dad had left. And I realized he was talking about me. I’m sorry I know it’s early, but can we please talk y/n?”

You scoffed and tried to shut the door on him, but he stopped you by reaching out and putting his hand on the door.

“Please,” he asked again.

That’s when you heard the voice of one of you kids yelling for you down the hall.

“Wait here, we can talk but just wait here for a minute,” you told him and shut the door.

“MOMMY!!” Oaklyn and Emery came running at you clearly full of energy.

“What are you doing up girls? I have something to take care of so can you go sit in your room for a little until I come and get you?”

“Yes,” they said and you both made your way to the girls room. After the girls were settled in their room you ran to Alyssa’s room to wake her.

“Alyssa…Alyssa!” you whisper screamed at her.

“Whatttt, it’s too early y/n”

“Yea, well Jack somehow found me and he’s at the front door asking to talk. Can you please go sit in the room with the girls while I talk to him in the living room? I don't want him to see them.”

“Oh my god, um yea c'mon. If things go south and you need me to beat his ass call my name,” she agreed.

Alyssa made her way to the girls room to keep them occupied while you headed back to the front door. You opened it and stepped inside to let Jack through and you led him over to the living room. You were both sitting on opposite couches facing eachother.

“You wanted to talk, so talk,” you told him.

“When dru told me about you and the kids I was a little shocked that you hadn’t told me that you went through with the pregnancy. It hurt to find out from someone else that i’m a dad to two girls that I never got to meet. I wanna see them, Inwanna meet them.”

“You have actually got to be kidding me. And a dad? You are not their dad, you made that clear when you walked out of my house six years ago and told me ‘you didn’t want anything to do with the baby.’ Do you fucking remember that or did that get lost somewhere in that brain of yours? WHY THE FUCK WOULD I LET YOU SEE MY KIDS THAT I WAS FORCED TO RASIE ON MY OWN BECAUSE YOU COULDNT GROW SOME BALLS AND OWN UP TO YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES!?,” you were so frustrated and angry with him that you were now yelling. He had some nerve coming here.

“You chose fame over your kids a long time ago, you don’t get to just show up some six years later and expect to come back into my life, in my kids life and act like nothing happened. You have some nerve, you haven’t even apologized to me about leaving me and you want to meet the children you walked out on? You missed their first steps, their first words, you missed watching them grow up. You weren’t there by my side while I was in labor for 18 hours in pain crying and wishing you were there. You weren’t there to raise them, so you do not get to call yourself a dad. You are no dad, let's be honest, the only thing you are is a sperm donor and a piece of shit!” You got up to walk away but he grabbed onto your arm.

“You can’t keep my kids from me. I know wasn’t there and I know I fucked up but I’m here now and I’m ready to step up and be a dad now. I’m sorry for leaving, I’m sorry I left you to do it all alone, I was young and stupid and I feel bad, but please just let me make it up to you. Let me show you that I can be the dad they deserve, let me meet them. It doesn’t have to be today, but please don’t keep them from me,” Jack practically begged you.

“Jack…let go of me. And get the fuck out of my house! NOW.” You pulled your arm from out of his grip and ran to the girls room and shut the door behind you. You sat on the floor crying, filled with emotion, against the door waiting to hear your front door open and close like you had six years ago. When you finally heard it, ironically you felt like a huge weight just lifted off your shoulders, the exact opposite feeling of how you felt when he walked out of your life all that time ago, but now you were praying he left and left for good this time.

introducing carter

Carter Reese Hughes is the youngest of her family and was born june 8, 2004.

Carter was the first overall pick of the 2022 draft to the Vancouver Canucks.

Carter grew up playing hockey and started playing on girls team but ended being to much to play with the girls and started playing on boys teams and just never stopped.

In 2020 WHL draft she was drafted first overall pick to the Regina Pats and ended up meeting her best friend Connor Bedard, She became caption and Connor was assistant Captain.

Carter and Connor have always been an exceptional team on the ice and work better together than with anyone else.

Carter was captain on the Canada national team and led her team to winning the WJC, while beating the USA team in the final also happen to be the team her brother Luke was on.

Carter and Luke are the closet in age out of all the siblings and Luke loved to drag Luke into his schemes when they were younger, Luke is a big cuddler with his family and he loves when he can cuddle with his little sister.

Carter is closest with her older brother Quinn, always having looked up to him and she secretly always wanted to go to the Canucks to be on the same team as him.

Carter has always been the closet Quinn, Carter and Quinn always having a very special connection and bond between the two.

When Carter got drafted Quinn was ecstatic for his baby sister, he hugged her first. After the draft Quinn was telling her about every teamate she’s going to love, all his favorite food places they are going to try and that there’s already a room waiting for her in his apartment.

Carter and Jack aren’t the as close as they were growing up as they live two completely separate lives and they rarely have time for each other. They are both so different from each other, Jack knows he can always find a calm and quiet place with Carter and enjoys spending any time he gets with his little sister

Carter had a tough time mentally during her rookie year and when Jack finds out he upset his baby sister had a hard rookie year as well.

Luke and Jack both sometimes get really sad about the fact they never seem to know a lot of Carter’s life not because she hides stuff but because she is more a quiet person it’s hard to learn stuff about her if you aren’t with her.

Carter has really curly hair but doesn’t really care to style so she usally throws into a bun or a ponytail.

Carter is 5”8 so pretty tall for a girl and Quinn and Jack get slighty salty when they realize their younger siblings got all the height genes in the family.

Always had a hard time falling asleep when she was younger and would sneak into her parents or brothers bed cuddling them to fall asleep.

Had a really hard time during her first year along at the Regina Pats falling asleep, only fell asleep when she was exhausted but her second season Connor joined the team and they automatically became best friends and one day after a practice she sat next to resting her head on his shoulder falling fast asleep and Connor sat their for hours on the floor letting her sleep on him.

Carter and Connor then started being roommates on away games and Connor never had a problem letting Carter sleep cuddled to him, because honestly he sleepy better with her next to him.

She moves into Quinn’s apartment for her rookie season but the next season she gets her own apartment in the same building as Quinn just a next door.

Carter is more of a quiet and introverted person, rather listen to people talk then talk, but if your the right person she will talk a lot to you.

You two stumble across a field of flowers on your trek and you insist on making him a flower crown. (He tries to make you one, but it’s not nearly as pretty as yours).

Over all, you were finally able to get Jack to relax (to his standards). He may take a day to himself more often… it’s also perfect because he doesn’t have to worry about protecting you from anything other than a wild animal (protective yandere)

Baki Hanma

A day of rest is always welcomed for Baki from the way he lives. He’s so thrilled you want to relax. He finally has an excuse to rot in bed

You two order some takeout and lounge around in bed all day. You two watch movies, cuddle, and talk. It’s a nice bonding time

After you’re all winded down, he may try to push you to have an intimate night with him, this time it’s all about your pleasure (you won’t turn him down, he always shows you an amazing time)

He’s ordering the two of you take out to relax for the day (he cannot cook)

If you ask for a shoulder rub, he will give you one (his hands are slowly going to creep lower and lower as he goes, you might have to swat him away if you aren’t in the mood)

Will rub your feet for you as you two watch a movie together (do not pick out a movie with a raunchy scene in it or he will be in the mood to make one of your own)

Retsu has you sit in his lap as he reads, your head tucked under his chin. He presses kisses on your head here and there to let you know he sees you

Retsu is super calming to be around so you’re never too stressed with him

Biscuit Oliva

The other sugar daddy on this list. He makes the entire day about you (but every day is about you)

Worships the ground you walk on so he is doing everything in his power to make sure you have a relaxing day (as always)

He will pay for an entire spa day for you (including getting your hair done). All he wants in return is your smile

Will take pictures of you two together but he won’t post them unless you approve of them. He would never take or post a bad picture of you. Ever

On October 1st, you decided that you’d try to play a fun little prank on Tony. You had moved in together a few months before and Halloween was going to be one of the first major holidays that you’d celebrate while living together. It was also the first one that you could decorate for.

Tony was not the one who decorated his suite, he had hired an interior designer to design pretty much the whole compound. And while it looked very nice, it wasn’t very personal. Everything was modern and sleek. Blacks and whites and the same shade of blue ran throughout the entire space. It looked straight out of a magazine, but it didn’t look like a home.

So for Halloween, you decided that you would decorate. Without Tony. But you figured it would be too obvious if you did all the decorating at once. That is why, once a day since the first of the month you’ve taken a piece of decor and replaced it. At first, it was small things, you swapped out a random bowl of rocks that was sitting on the bookshelf with a little foam pumpkin. You swapped the towel hanging in the kitchen and even took down one of the paintings in the living room and swapped it with a framed Friday the 13th movie poster. You swapped out boring white candles for ones in pumpkin jars that smelled like cinnamon apples.

You figured that Tony would’ve said something by now. At first, it was fun sneaking around and swapping decor, hoping that when Tony noticed it would be a fun laugh, and then the two of you could decorate the rest of the house together. But he hadn’t said anything, he hadn’t even looked at any of the new decor when you two were spending time together.

You didn’t know what to think. Was he just really oblivious? Did he not care? Was he annoyed that you had swapped things but just didn’t want to say anything? You decided that you would pull out the big guns today and hopefully, he would finally say something.

Tony drank a lot of coffee, but he always drank it from the same mug. It was an Iron Man-branded mug that he was given by a little boy when he visited the children’s hospital for a charity event. He cherishes it, he gets grumpy when it's not clean. And you stole it. You replaced it with a mug that looks like a jack-o-lantern. It even lights up.

You camped out by the island counter, perched on one of the stools that surrounded the side sipped from your own ghost-shaped mug, and waited for Tony to emerge from your room and come to the kitchen.

He walked out in a pair of sweatpants and a Black AC/DC tee shirt that had seen better years. A pair of slippers adorned his feet and his hair was still a little wet in front of the shower. He walked past you, placing a kiss in greeting on the side of your head and running his hand across your lower back as he turned the counter of the floating counter and towards the coffee machine.

You were practically buzzing with excitement as you watched him open the cabinet that held your cups and mugs. He blindly grabbed for the mug that was in the same spot it always was and placed it under the spout that the coffee would come from as soon as the machine finished warming the water.

As he placed it down though you watched him do a double-take. He shot his head back up to the cabinet and turned his head left and right, scanning all the drinkware inside. He searched for his mug for about a minute before he turned towards you.

“Very funny sweetheart. Where is my mug.”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” You took another sip out of your own mug.

‘You think I haven't noticed what you’ve been doing?” He asked, walking back around the counter and stopping right in front of you, he took a step forward, forcing your legs apart and sliding in between them. “You think I didn’t notice on day one, that there was a bright orange pumpkin on my bookshelf? You think I haven’t noticed you sneaking around and spookifying my place?” As he questioned you, he pushed his face even closer to yours. You couldn’t really think not when he was so close to you, crowding you being. Filling all of your senses with just him.

“Our place.” was the only response you could come up with.

“Where. Is. My. Mug?” Tony asked, pacing kisses on your lips in between each word. Eventually, he pulled back and you could see the soft smile on his face. Now that he wasn’t the only thing you could see or smell, the rest of your brain started to come back online.

“Wait. You noticed? You noticed and you didn’t say anything? Tones I was seriously beginning to doubt your observational skills.” You were incredulous. He had known the whole time? “Why didn’t you say anything?” You asked him.

“Because you were having so much fun. Sneaking around, thinking you were getting away with it. Sweetheart, you were so happy, I didn’t want to burst your bubble.”

“That is sweet. But I’m not going to lie I’m still a little upset.”

“Well we can’t have that, can we?” He adopted a stupidly handsome pout and looked into your eyes, “What can I do, sweetheart I don’t want you upset.”

You smiled widely. “Well Halloween isn’t for a few more days, and I have a lot more decorations hidden in my office. Help me put them up?” And he did. The two of you spent the rest of the day decorating the suite, watching spooky movies in the background, and laughing together.

The thing is, Stede has never liked piracy for the same reason that Ed despises it.

It's just that Stede believes it's a matter of skill and experience that he needs to obtain in order to be a "real pirate" and that once he gains those things, he'll be magically okay with the gore-y bits. The soul crushing bits. The poison.

Stede desperately wants to belong and to have friends because more than anything he wants respect and love - things he has never had before. He's interested in the idea of community and team work and communication - it just so happens that he has made these interests pirate flavored because it facilitated the latter. Own a big cool ship, get a bunch of crew who were basically hired friends, and do something stereotypically masculine in an attempt to feel like a success.

We see Stede haunted/guilt ridden even by his involvement in the accidental deaths of the Badmintons. Yes, part of his guilt is due to feelings of inadequacy stemming from his failed marriage/domestic life, but the other half is feelings of inadequacy at being a pirate aka committing acts of violence. The whole reason Stede pushes back against the whole "traditionally piracy is a culture of abuse" is because it makes him uncomfortable to do violence. This is well established within the first episodes of season one, and during Stede's reaction to raids, or to Calico Jack, or Chauncey's death.

Episode 2x06 was a great culmination of this point about Stede. When he had Ned at swordpoint, he had to decide whether or not he was going to kill him. Ed, who knows extremely well how bad it feels to kill from his own firsthand experience, cautioned Stede against it in an effort to spare Stede these awful feelings of guilt and trauma (which I think Ed knows Stede would feel because he can tell how Stede handles violence and it isn't well). Stede is therefore torn between performing the violence that is expected of him as a pirate captain (there is so much to say about how this relates to masculinity that I don't have the words for) or saving himself the trauma of killing. In the end, Stede kills Ned and we immediately see in his expression that he is upset, so much so that he flashes back to his childhood; one scene of himself picking flowers and being soft and the other of him watching horrified as his father slaughtered the goose. He also retreats to his quarters to isolate where he sits on the sofa in much the same way as he did after Nigel died in s1. It was a perfect setup to illustrate that at the end of the day, Stede is never going to be okay with killing in the same way that Ed isn't. Their relationship to violence runs nearly parallel, and once Stede realizes this completely I think he and Ed will come to a compromise about how they want to spend the rest of their lives together and what they really want to do.

Since you said the octo trio get their breeding kinks from their mer instincts, what do you think about Savannahclaw?

It also comes from the beastman instinct to breed! I think all of the twst characters with inhuman characteristics (Octavinelle trio, Savanaclaw trio, Che'nya, Malleus, Lilia, and even Sebek) will have some breeding kink in them because of the nature of their species.

With Leona, it's essentially expected that the royal bloodline be carried along with heirs for the future. Though Leona will never be king, he's probably heard from those around him (perhaps hearing it as reminders from Farena or even Farena's wife) that it's important to find a mate and have children, if only to keep the pride extant. Leona has no interest in any of this, constantly thinking that since he will never be in line for the throne there's no need for his family to get any children out of him.

But it's a different story when he meets you and he sees how good you are with Cheka, always keeping him entertained and occupied so Leona can slip away for a nap. Leona could do without children, but if you want children then he'll gladly give you plenty to fill your sweet, domestic heart. Part of him just wants to see how big your belly would get and how many children you might have if he bred you while he was in rut. After all, Leona never backs down from a challenge if he knows it's something he can easily accomplish.

With Ruggie, it's really just a matter of wanting to be tied to you in the most intimate of ways. Since he grew up in the slums, he has a completely different outlook on reproduction. Rich, prince types like Leona have it nice and easy; he can make as much children as he wants and he'll never have to worry about scrounging anything together to afford the many expenses that come with a child, nor will he have to worry about any of the children getting sick or dying due to a lack of proper care. Ruggie sees children as a blessing. The birth rates are often high in the slums for various reasons, but it's not guaranteed that all of the babies will survive. So he never really dwells on the thought of breeding.

He brings leftovers back when he visits home and seeing how the children light up in excitement is enough for him. He doesn't need a child of his own when he has the children in the slums who he can occasionally look after. And for a while Ruggie's content with this way of thinking, but then you enter his life and things have become...complicated. It doesn't help that he has heightened senses, so every little thing you do is not lost on him. He'll be able to pick up the slightest changes in your body, such as a new subtle perfume scent or even when you're menstruating. Ruggie isn't a stranger to the scent of blood, but knowing the reason for your menstruation (and being able to smell and sense the change in hormones) has him thinking and fantasizing and promptly chasing such fantasies away. He can't afford that sort of life. He really can't...but maybe a certain lion prince wouldn't notice if a few valuables went missing so he could make enough to afford that kind of life for himself and you. :) Ruggie also likes the idea of being able to take care of you when you're all swollen and soft. <3

With Jack, the concept of breeding ties in with the wolf's ideals: mating for life. It's his dream to find someone who he can love forever and indulge in the wonders of life with, both mundane and exciting. He'll want children of his own, preferably a boy and a girl, but he can settle for less (or more) depending on what his mate wishes. He's going to want to have children with you. In fact, the more time he spends with you as friends the more he realizes he wouldn't mind being with you for the rest of his life.

Jack sees how well his grandparents and parents get along and how they always spend every second of their lives together. He's grown up witnessing these deep, loving bonds, so it's only natural that he would want to seek something like that for himself. With you, it's a matter of love and protection. He wants to be there for you, he loves being able to help you (even if it's something as simple as using his height to reach the shelves you can't), and he will devote his everything to you if you'd let him. Of course he has thought about the future, picturing a life in which you're living with him and you're so happy together, bonded for life. That also means he's thought about you in a domestic setting. Jack wouldn't rush these things. He's patient. As beautiful as you would look pregnant, he wants to wait for the right time. For when he can make your everlasting bond more apparent and so that the both of you will be ready to tackle parenthood. Though that doesn't mean he's immune to his fantasies. They drive him wild all the time when he's particularly excited about sharing his life with you.

I love Arthur so much. It was so good to hear his voice at greater length... and today he is doing the two things he does so very well: see through the mask and provide resources.

Art doesn't get a ton of time on the page. And even when he's there, he isn't usually the focus of the scene. So I think a lot of people tend to underestimate just how important his actions are.

Because... look, everyone knows that Mina is the one who 'writes Dracula', so to speak. She collates the information, she's the first to share the information, she makes unique connections with every single member of the team and takes on a lot of the emotional labor for them. She's great at noticing important things and at connecting with people.

But Mina isn't the only one. Arthur and Mina actually share a fair bit in common I think, and Mina would never have been able to do her thing if he didn't act first now.

Like... yes, of course Lucy is a uniting force in this part of the novel. She's the one everyone wants to save, and her relationships with others are pretty central to bringing them all together. And after they fail, Mina is the one who takes up that role in a lot of ways. But Arthur's relationships are pretty central too. It seems apparent from the way they're first introduced that Art is the reason Lucy met the other suitors in the first place, and he seems to be the one who is closest to both the others/has known them longest. Quincey and Arthur especially spend a ton of time together and seem super close. Van Helsing starts to think of him as a son. He and Mina agree to be like siblings for the rest of their lives, and while he has the least direct connection with Jonathan, he still goes on a journey alone with him at the end and makes sure to look after his health. Everyone loves everyone else, and they all have multiple close relationships, but I think Arthur is probably the one who gets the most emphasis on each different one after Mina. (Even as he is more of a side character.) And while he goes through a ton of loss and isn't able to be a support for everyone for a good while, he always seems to want to try, and he does when he can. I think when he isn't completely lost in grief that's his default state. And he seems pretty good at it. Not just the noticing but also getting people to accept his help. He convinces Lucy to meet with Jack despite the awkwardness. He convinces Jonathan to go to sleep despite his intense drive to keep going without pause. That sort of thing.

Most importantly here is how Arthur sees through Lucy's pretence. (And others too, like when Jack and van Helsing try to pretend she isn't as bad as she is, and he figures it out multiple times. Also, it's not exactly the same thing, but he and Jonathan are the only two people to notice Dracula at Carfax, however briefly.) I've talked about this before, but in the proposal scenes he was the only suitor that was meeting Lucy on even terms. They were both emotionally honest, his proposal was unplanned, and both he and Lucy could read one another well. Through various hints it seems to me that Arthur is usually pretty open with Lucy about everything including his worries, while she talks to him about all sorts of things except her own worries. However, even when she isn't honest with him, Arthur is able to see through Lucy's pretense. For someone who always tries to act happy/well and care for other people first, who hides how poorly she is doing and can't easily ask for help, that's huge. It makes them very well suited. And honestly, he expresses himself a lot in this book in a way entirely devoid of ego. He cries, he admits when he doesn't know what to do, he asks for help, he's willing to follow orders, he forgives what seem like slights against him...

And that's part of what makes his ability to provide resources so useful. Because sure, he throws money at problems. And that's super helpful later on. But he doesn't just do that. He also tries to anticipate specific needs when he knows he has the ability (planning to get his horses, bringing his dogs since he'd heard that Dracula could command rats amongst other things), and offers up his resources for others who know better what to do to use (letting Jonathan use his name to deal with the other lawyers, and giving his blood to Lucy is a big one). And that extends to people too. Arthur knows he can't save Lucy here, so he reaches out to Jack. He uses his relationships to do three things here: convince Jack to come, convince Lucy to be open with him, and trick/distract Mrs. Westenra so she won't be alarmed. Later on, he reaches out to Quincey as well. He never hesitates to ask for help when he thinks it's necessary and not only is he always correct to ask but he gets the answer he wants.

Even though he's far from the most visible character, I think he's pretty important. And I'm deeply fond of him.

Harry Hook and LaBouff!Sparrow! Reader Headcanons

Request: Heyy, idk if you take crossovers but if you do could you do being Charlotte La Bouffs (Princess and the Frog) and Jack Sparrows (Pirates of the Caribbean) kid and dating Harry Hook (descendants) headcanons? (If you don't take crossovers please just ignore this 😭😭😭😭)

You were lucky enough to have not grown up on the Isle, both of your parents were considered heroes in their own right and so you were raised in Auradon

But even so, you weren't a student of Auradon Prep. As much as your mother thought it was a good idea for you to get used to spending time with other children like you, your father thought it a waste of time

You were raised on the Black Pearl mostly, learning how she worked, how she operated, and sometimes if she could convince your father to give the ship a rest, your mother would homeschool you in other things

Still, even despite living a somewhat sheltered life, you were still able to make friends. Tiana and Naveen's child (which I'm sure they have even though it's annoyingly not canon!) would definitely be your closest friend

But besides them, you'd also be friends with a lot of students from Auradon Prep, including the VK's

Your father is morally questionable and as a result, you tend to spend time with people mostly because you see a gain in it for you (like he taught you), so anyone you deem to be worthy or interesting for whatever reason you would hang around, regardless of where they're from

These friends are of course how you meet Harry Hook and the two of you hit it off swimmingly.

The two of you bond over being pirates, a shared love of the sea and growing up isolated from the rest of the world, no matter how many friends you both had in your respective places

It's unsurprising that the two of you eventually end up together, everyone sees it coming. Harry is a huge flirt and he would totally make the first move.

Your relationship would be a lot of dodging your parents and spending as much time as possible together though

He may be ready to stand up for himself but Harry Hook still would never mess with your dad (nobody on the open seas would) and so keeping quiet about the relationship is probably the only way to keep him safe for now

Spending time out on the ocean together, doing whatever. Steering a ship, swimming, fishing, hanging out. The ocean is both of your safe space, a mutual place where you both feel at ease

When you're away from your parents, you two are definitely PDA fiends. Especially Harry. You can't tell me he wouldn't be super proud to show you off to everyone he meets

Stealing his hat and wearing it as your own, you've always wanted a pirate hat and now you can just steal your boyfriends!!!

And yeah, when your father and mother finally find out there are mixed reactions

Your mother is excited you've found someone to love, regardless of who it is

Your father is suspicious of him, and no matter how many times you try and convince him to give Harry a chance he still gives him hassle

Despite everything though, Harry would definitely treat you right. Sure, he's a little bit of a flirt and he has some odd quirks but dating him is always an adventure and spending time with him never gets old. He would do anything for you

Could you imagine the NRC staff taking bets on who is in love with the reader and vice versa. Trein wouldn't really do anything but no one wants Crowley to win. Vargas can't tell so he just starts partnering then with everyone. Crewel is threatening anyone who he didn't pick and Sam is playing dirty by using his friends from the other side. Meanwhile Crowley is not subtle at all and the reader just thinks he's a crazy bird man and will not answer

Omg that would just bring more chaos to the school ;-; like they also have a reward for whoever wins the bet!

Trein would act like he doesn't care, telling the other staff members that they're acting like middle school students and rolling his eyes whenever they argue whether or not mc is compatible with another student. But when no one is looking, he and his cat will do things to manipulate the odds to their favor. "I think y/n is interested in Jack," he might say, and the rest of the staff argue. "No, it's totally got to be someone else! You think they would want to spend the rest of their lives with someone so stiff?!" Sam says. Trein takes this as a challenge, and the next week mc is found having to sit next to Jack in class.

Crewel is probably similar to Trein. He would try to find ways to get mc and whoever is the poor fellow he chose as the candidate to work together. If anyone tries to interrupt the pair working together or so, Crewel sends them a glare and probably tells them to get back to their own work. He can't have random puppies running around and ruining his chance at winning this bet!

Sam and Vargas are the chillest. Sam probably just thinks it's cute to see mc with a partner, and he might be the most understanding of you. He talks with you often after school when you visit him in the shop, and because of that he probably knows who you like. Vargas low-key has no clue and just thinks that the whole bet is a bit pointless, but he chimes in nonetheless. He ends up teaming with Sam.

Crowley, well, he just asks you one day when you're walking with Ace and Deuce. Your face turns red, Ace yells at Crowley that he's asking a super personal question, Deuce is just trying to get you to stop trying to kick the headmaster, and Grim is also helping Deuce.

If one of them turns out to be right, they will rub it into the others' faces for sure. If none of them win, well, then they just call the bet off and say it was pointless anyways haha.

Nightmare Before Christmas Persona- Donna

After deciding I wanted to have a persona for TNBC, I tried to get her bio out while it was still Nightmare season (October-December, Q4) in the hopes that more people would see it.

Donatella, or Donna for short, is a haunted broken porcelain doll from Halloween Town. She has numerous cracks on her face and fingers. She appears to have bluish eyeshadow, light pink blush, red lipstick, and more makeup that looks like running mascara on her upper cheeks. She wears an olive green dress with a light bluish-gray collar, very dark brown sleeves, light brown trim on the skirt and sleeves, a green layer with a blue hem beneath the skirt, and green fingerless gloves. She wears a pair of black shoes with green bows on the straps. Her brown hair is styled in an updo of ringlets that fall around her head. Her hairstyle has bangs on the front side. Her socks are dark brown with white polka dots, which is the same color and pattern as her bow. There are green ribbons and some light blue strip of fabric attached to it. She is the actual size of a porcelain doll, meaning that she is very short.

Donna is a perky and snarky doll who has a self-confident, I'm-so-fab kind of nature. Her methods of scaring people are unconventional compared to most of the other monsters in town, but that isn't something that others her from them. Charismatic, she loves to be the center of attention. When she's not, she'll watch you in a much more unsettling way. While most dolls, including herself, work more silently, Donna tends to be louder and more brash. More often than not, Donna can be mischievous, snide, and maybe a little obnoxious.

Donna isn't very fond of jump scares or blood and guts like lots of Halloween Town's spooks do. To be frank, they ironically freak her out. But she has her own ways of spooking you out. They're silent, albeit just as deadly. Even when she's completely still, her eyes seem to follow you around. When you least expect it, her eyes can actually move, all while the rest of her body is inanimate. She may actually move once your back is turned. All this being said, Donna has excellent volume control. She tends to be very loud, but she's also great at staying so quiet that it gives you the creeps.

Donatella lives in a sophisticated neighborhood of creepy dolls like herself in Halloween Town. She prides herself in her silent stare technique of scaring that haunted dolls are known for. She scared people while also working as a field researcher for the human world, learning about what they're afraid of. Once she and her colleagues get back from a haunting session or a field observation, they often hang out at one of their dollhouses. Donna, who is quite popular amongst her community, spends most of her nights at these get-togethers, basking in their praises of her stealthy scares. During the events of the film, a raging celebration of another successful Halloween was going on at Donna's dollhouse. Later on, Jack stopped by to ask if she and the dolls knew anything about Christmas, but their research only covers fear and Halloween-related things, so they dismissed him. As mentioned before, their assignment for Jack's Christmas was to plan out his route for his deliveries. When he got shot down, Donna believed that all of their hard work had gone to waste, but everything worked out well in the end. When snow came falling on Halloween Town, the dolls cozied up in their dollhouses, and Donna realized how much she loved hot chocolate.

Because of Donna's talents and her skill in her job, as well as how much she loves being admired by her peers, Donna was later chosen to become the ambassador to the dolls. She already knew they looked up to her, but now, they'd have to rely on her to lead them to success. Donna wasn't prepared to take on her new responsibilities, and on multiple occasions, she didn't think she was fit to be a voice for the dolls. She did know what it was like to have a lot of charisma, though. So, when she met Sally, she tried to show her a thing or two about looking like a leader, in the hopes that they'd be pals. Though they bumped heads at first, Donna ended up helping Sally out with her dilemmas while also learning things for herself. I picture her playing a more active role in Long Live the Pumpkin Queen.

Brokeback Mountain

I re-wrote the ending to brokeback mountain because I hate myself

- Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist fall in love on a lonely old mountain. It's a whirlwind romance that grips them by the soul.

- By the end of the summer when they're asked to leave neither can bare to separate, so they don't.

- (at the beginning you don't see Ennis with a car but further on you do, so I'll just assume he had a car but lived in town) So they sell one of their cars (the worse one of the two) and get the little beginnings of a nest egg

- At first they're just driving around aimlessly, not putting down roots anywhere. While working at a ranch they hear some of the guys talking about going to Alberta to work on the oil rigs

- Jack is immediately all for it, Ennis isn't sure, but after a while they decide to go. It's really good pay, in a similar place to where they are now and they can avoid the draft. (Win win)

- (in Alberta, 1970, a roughneck would be payed approximately 27,000 dollars a year, in today's money that's about 212,000)

- They eventually make enough to buy an apartment together, which passes fine enough under the guise of two bachelor roommates, who can't afford a place of their own.

- Eventually they hear about club 70 and Flashback (both gay bars founded around 1970) in Edmonton, only about 45 minutes from where they live

- It soon becomes a common place for them to hang out.

- While at the club they discover 'Carousel Capers' (newsletter of club carousel) a monthly newsletter for gay people that had started in 1969.

- They also discover GATE (gay alliance towards equality) that started in 1971-72. The alliance had an actual building which included a drop in center and a resource center. They provided peer counselling and speaker referrals all while still fighting for gay rights.

- It takes a long time but eventually they even visit the center.

-It's during one of these visits that they meet Margret 'Peggy' Walters and Winnifred 'Fred' Murphy, a lesbian couple in the same area

- They both share their woes about living as a gay couple in the area and how at a certain point it's hard to pretend to be just roommates

- They all become fast friends and continue to meet up regularly. While having coffee one day Peggy shares a thought, marriage, marriages actually. Those of Ennis and herself as well as Jack and Fred, for tax purposes and also convenience.

- It's during the spring that they get married and it's summer when they take a 'honeymoon' at Brokeback mountain.

- The girls love the solitude and everyone keeps their distance during the stay.

- The second day of their drip, when the sun gets real low, a mix of amber, crimson and violet, the sky peppered with ghosts of stars that Ennis falls to his knees before the love of his life and pulls out a small gold ring.

"I don't say much, and I don't know much either, but what I do know, is that I love you Jack Twist, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

- Jack let's out a brash fit of laughter, running off for no more than a minute. He jogs back to where Ennis is sitting and collapses to his knees, sliding towards him, a ring in hand. All the overwhelming fear and anxiety Ennis had been feeling quickly fell away.

- Jack stared deeply into the eyes of the man he's sure he wants to spend the rest of his life with, putting a free hand on the other man's cheek as he speaks.

"Ennis Del Mar, I- I just can't quit you, and I don't want to neither. I've spent every day since we've left thanking whatever god that'll listen for you, cus you- you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. So, Mr. Del Mar, wanna get hitched?"

- They end up laugh crying and falling into each other, both making slapdash moves for other's ring and pushing them onto they're fingers.

- One day while working on the rigs, Jack gets into an accident. Work normally last 16-20 hours a day, and they work almost every day, sometimes 7 days a week. Because of this, Jack in his sleep deprived and overworked state, passes out, hitting his head on piece of metal machinery.

- Ennis is rightfully terrified and it takes a few days for Jack to actually wake up. When he does, Ennis decides that they are never going back to the rigs.

- They merge what little nest eggs they've saved up with the girls and buy a ranch.

(The price per acre in 1988 was 374, and they bought 500 acres)

- There's a little house on the property which they all refurbish together. It's technically two smaller houses merged together, each with they're own mailboxes. One says Ennis + Peggy (for Jack and Ennis) and the other says Jack + Fred (for Peggy and Fred)

- Each couple had their own side of the house, but they all spend most of their time together like one big family.

- Because they have so much land, they don't have to worry about anybody seeing anything they aren't suppose to, so they don't have to keep behind closed doors anymore.

- Fred learns to weld and becomes a trades woman, While Peggy prefers to say home, take care of the house and cook. Ennis and Jack get a herd of sheep, some cattle and a few horses.

- Now that they have the money Jack even gets himself a roping horse, a young mare named Sunny that he trains himself.

- The house and barn are near constantly filled with music, the radio is always playing. It's partly because Jack read something about animals being happier when they listened to music and partly because Ennis doesn't have the heart to tell him he's wrong.

- After a while when they're all good and ready, Peggy and Fred propose having children. So not long after that, Ennis and Jack get jiggy with a plastic cup and Peggy and Fred get real familiar with a turkey baster.

- Jack desperately wants a little boy and has for quite a long time, Ennis is the more apprehensive of the two, but as soon as the older man gets a glimpse of his little baby girl all his worries melt away.

- It's then that they're all renamed, Ennis becomes Daddy, Jack becomes Popa, Peggy is Moma and Fred is Mom. They all wear their titles with pride.

- Peggy had two girls each a year apart and Fred has a little brown eyed boy.

- As it turns out, it's quite difficult for four people to decide on baby names. But after a first 10 months of deliberation, and another year for their third they decide on Alison, Jackson Robert and Marie.

- After having the babies Peggy starts to work in town to help raise some more funds for the kids and Ennis and Jack become the best stay at home dads you've ever seen.

- Ennis actually learns to cook and Jack is a diaper master, though he'll never admit it to anyone else.

- Though the old clubs are closed by now and the paper long gone, GATE (which was renamed to GLCCE, the Gay and Lesbian Community Centre of Edmonton) is still around. They all decide they can spare the extra money for a ranch hand and post an add at the center, hiring a young boy named Henry.

- Though they somehow end up with two hands because of Henry's codependent relationship with his girlfriend Danny.

- At first the guys are shocked that they hired a gay boy who turns out to have a girlfriend. But soon after, Danny the spitfire (as she's renamed) educated not only the boys but Peg and Fred too, on bisexuality, genderfluidity and what it means to be transgender.

- They all get very up to date on gay culture. (They haven't been getting out much since the kids... and the sheep)

- Each of the kids learns how to ride horses at four, but all of them have already (and continue to) gone on rides with their dads.

- Buts it's their youngest Marie that really takes a shine to it, horseback riding with such ease it's as though she's just walking.

- Eventually Marie even gets her own little colt, which she names boots, and starts training to barrel race (and to rope just like her popa)

- Their first trip as a family is to Brokeback mountain. Ennis and Jack sneak away in the night, watching the sunset and basking in the joy of their lives.

"Lookit how far we've come. I really love you Jack."

"And I really love you."

- On the last day they take one big picture as a family. The kids get it framed for their anniversary, it still hangs in their dads' room.

- Though they came to love Henry and Danny they eventually left the ranch. At the ages of 23 and 22 respectively the pair got married, the blended family being invited of course. They come empty handed, seemingly without a gift, but they're harbouring a splendid little secret.

- After returning from their honeymoon, they all meet up again at the shared house for dinner and their wedding present is finally given.

"Are you gonna tell them or am I?" Peggy asks with a smirk.

"So, I know y'all are grown now, but Ennis and I- and Fred and Peg," Jack adds after a side glance from the girls. "We made you a little something."

- The four of them, plus the kids, lead the newlyweds through the property and about ten acres in they peep a little dirt road. The road in turn is connected to the Main Street (on the opposite side of the property) and to a sweet little bungalow.

- Upon realizing the house is for them they both burst into tears and become (officially) member of the family.

- Marie goes on to become a rodeo star, a trick riding, barrel racing, calf roping badass. A true rodeo Queen.

- Jackie Jr. graduates early and gets a job as a mechanic in town and occasionally joins his younger sister at the rodeo, as a roping duo. At first he'd been interested in bull and bronk riding but after a long and stern conversation with both his dads about the dangers he decided against it.

- Alison turns out to be the wild card of the family, deciding to go to school to become a doctor. (Never did Ennis, or Jack or that matter, think that he could make a kid that intelligent, but fuck if she wasn't a smart cookie)

- Though he's a man of few words, Ennis gives heartfelt and genuine goodbyes to each of their children. Jack as well, tucking his head into the side of his now (really freaking tall) kids, hiding his tears in bursts of 'I love yous' and 'I'll miss yous".

- Now that they're all empty nesters the house feels a little too lonely, a bit quieter too, even though the radio is still always playing. So Jack and Ennis decide to start fostering, (though technically on paper it’s Ennis and Peggy and Jack and Fred)

- They take in the kids that no one wants, the belligerent teens, the abandoned toddlers, homeless kids, the reckless boys and the defiant girls. Kids that have no other options.

- They end up with 6 year old Toby, 14 Christin and 16 year old Randy and they love every minute of it.

- Jackie Jr. is the first to get married. His wife is a sweet young thing named Stella, she comes from a hard working family and desperately loves their son. They build and move into another house on the property, not too far from Henry and Danny.

- Allison finished her schooling at a big fancy, (as Ennis puts it, "smart kid school") and now lives in the city, she's had a few boyfriends, and girlfriends, over the years but still hasn't settled down.

- Ennis gets a little nervous every now and then, about Allison and if she feels as lonely as he did when he was a young kid. Jack always pulls him back though.

"Just because she isn't married doesn't mean she ain’t happy, I mean, think about us, about Peg n' Freddy, when we were kids we was happy, unmarried and very happy just being with each other."

"Allie knows she's loved, we tell her all the time, she knows her family will always be on her side, no matter what."

- Danny and Henry adopt a little boy named Tommy. (Ennis thinks the fact that all their names ending in 'y' is weird but only ever says anything to Jack)

- Marie is the next to get hitched, her and her partner Randi, whose full name they still don't know.

- Jackie Jr. and Stella have their first kid, a little girl, Ennis Jr. (Both her granddads cry when they hear the name)

-That fall Peggy has a stroke and can't work in town anymore. Now she stays home with the boys (and the kiddos). At first it's really hard for all of them, she can't do what she used to be able to, things Peggy had mastered are now nearly impossible. But over time they all become accustomed to the new normal.

- All the kids come home when they hear about moma. Allison quits her job in the city and becomes a family doctor in town, she says it's because she doesn't like the fast paced nature of the big city and prefers to be closer to her home anyway.

- Marie comes back from her rodeo tour but only stays a few weeks (at the request of her mother) and soon gets back to travelling.

- Jackie Jr. is blessed with a set of twin girls, Winona (Winny) and Pauline.

- Marie gets pregnant and has a baby girl, Jacklin (aka. Jack the third, or Jack Jr. Jr.)

- Needless to say the house is loud again, constantly bustling. Little kids running wild, their foster kids are grown, but Toby stays in the family house. He loves taking care of the kids, so he starts taking night courses at the community college for childcare.

- Every once and while someone will come in (just out of the blue, with no warning, like it should be) and find the two men laying together, gently holding onto each other, radio playing softly in the background.

- As an anniversary present the kids arrange a trip to Brokeback, they take the whole family. Jack and Ennis fall asleep holding each other in the place they fell in love, the sounds of their children and grandchildren running around in the distance.

- They get a surprise about a week later when a new framed photo joins the other on their bedroom wall, this time with their grandkids too.

- Jack falls down the stairs. He nearly breaks his hip and Ennis decides to get a stair lift. At first Jack refuses to use it, but eventually folds one day. Ennis sits in the chair calling Jack over, he pulls the other man onto his lap and distracts him with a chaste kiss as he pushes the down button. Jack doesn't fight him over the 'stairs chair' anymore.

- Gay marriage gets legalized, they find out by watching the local news like they do every night. Ennis bursts into tears, looks over at Peggy and says 'I want a divorce' before turning back to Jack with a smile.

- They get married in the summer, on their anniversary. The kids walk them down the isle, Jack III brings the rings and both cry when reading their vows.

- They go to bed that night, staring into each others eyes, holding their husband, they're husbands now. Jack curls onto the bigger man's chest and they both stare at the pictures on the wall, where it all started, Brokeback mountain, the radio playing softly in the background.

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 8 Ep. 160: The Downfall of Nancy Landgraab

Now that Peachy had proof of Nancy’s latest dirty scheme from her own mouth it was time to recruit their last, and most important, ally.

Peachy setup another stand-up gig with Alison and Jack invited Geoff out to the club to see the performance. Once Peachy finished his set they settled with the Landgraab Patriarch in a quiet corner of the busy bar for a discrete chat.

Peachy got right down to business. They knew a lot more about Nancy’s schemes than Geoffrey might expect for a brand-new police chief. They had, in fact, been collecting intel for years now, and not just from police evidence Nancy had the last chief bury. They knew about Geoffrey’s unique skill for keeping his wife out of trouble and from indulging in her most destructive and harmful schemes and hoped to come to an understanding with him.

If Geoffrey didn’t agree to help them rein in her reckless criminal empire, she’d be trading in her favorite orange skirt for an orange prison jumpsuit.

Geoffrey’s shock quickly turned to anger. They had no idea what they were talking about, or of the good that Nancy and he had done working around red tape and pointless regulations century after century. Her genius for executing quiet projects was treasured by government and business alike!

Jack and Peachy calmly countered that while Nancy’s skilled manipulation got the job done, leaders seduced by her promise of quick results more often than not came to regret handing her the leverage, to say nothing of those like Jack she buried or broke.

The costs of her successes could be just as high, as Peachy’s scar from her little project researching alien plants in Strangerville showed. After providing several more graphic examples, Geoffrey broke down. He thought that she’d been more careful than that; maybe stronger oversight was needed.

The next evening Peachy and Jack were invited back to the mansion to discuss “the most beneficial working arrangement”, but Nancy’s plans for locking down leverage on the new chief were suddenly flipped on her. Chief Lawbourne was playing ball alright, but it was definitely hardball.

Faced with an outline of the breadth of their knowledge, and with her husband urging compromise, she grudgingly agreed to pay far more attention to legal and ethical considerations in her business dealings. It was also plain that she thought she would quickly outlast these new restraints.

Peachy made no mention of his plans to retire, or his work in connecting Geoffrey to Fabian and other contacts at the precinct and S.I.M.S.. Let her spend her efforts plotting against him, what really mattered was building relationships and resources for her live-in conscience. She would outlast him, and possibly Fabian, but Geoffrey had loved both her and their SimNation for centuries and was set to protect both for centuries more.

As the Lawbournes left the Landgraab residence together they shared a quiet smile of triumph at the successful execution of their long time project.

Keeping Nancy’s criminal empire in line wouldn’t clear Jack’s record, but he was retired, and everyone whose opinion mattered to him knew the full story already. The knowledge that no other dedicated detectives would face the same fate was good enough for him. As for Peachy, he looked forward to finishing off a few more good works in his law enforcement career, then moving onto comedy ahead of Nancy’s inevitable plots.

They had the rest of their lives to enjoy together, now free of the specter of Nancy Landgraab’s corrupt enterprises, and they couldn’t wait to get to it!
