*skips in like I've kept up with this like I said I would*
Okay, so I have actually been feeling like my dash is a bit dead especially during the week...which could also just be that I'm a bit busy lately and haven't been able to check it as much but even checking my fellow close mutuals blogs and show tags (a shock that I'm doing that I assure you) there hasn't been too much I have found to keep my queue full. So, I figured why not go back through some of my favs that I didn't give the extra love to over the last few months by doing this. Also, I've gotten a few new followers (hi, hello, welcome to the chaos) and figured why not possibly put some amazing things in front of y'all that you might have missed or not seen because you've come to us at this hellsite only recently.
So without further ado, here are the lovely creations that crossed my dash in April through July that I just couldn’t stop staring at. Will be setting up my queue to give all these sets some more love that they deserve. Thank you for continuing to share your gifts with the fandom!

Warnings: Mention of Bullying and Suicide, curse words
Chapter 24:
Masterlist
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smiling, I looked once again into my phone camera. As usual, I was seated on my gaming chair, AirPods in my ears, and a cup of coffee in hand. I placed the cup on the desk. Legs crossed, this time I was wearing just a hoodie with the imprint of a game called Persona 5. Below, I had on my pajama pants.
"Hello and welcome back to what will Y/n do in her live this time?" I playfully said, laughing a bit awkwardly. A small sigh escaped my throat. "So, I've mentioned this several times, but I really hate doing lives alone. You guys understand that, right?" I asked as I scratched the back of my head.
"For one, there's the language barrier, although I try to speak both Korean and English. It doesn't always work, unfortunately," I said as I started to hum a bit. "Of course, I think about what exactly I should do or say before starting the live. But in my opinion, my stories are really boring," I laughed.
I tied my hair back again since it had gotten a bit longer, falling over my shoulders. They were still short, but hey, at least longer than before, which honestly bothered me.
"I've really been thinking about going to the hairdresser again. My hair has gotten a bit longer, and that's why I want to cut it. You might not know, as you probably never really saw me with long hair, but long hair really doesn't suit me at all," I said, laughing lightly. My hand wrapped around the cup again, and I took a sip.
"Also, I'm considering dyeing my hair. Not my whole hair, but... hm... rather these Oreo hairs. Like Jennie-Sunbaenim, Ryujin Unnie or Yeji. So just a few strands. The only question is, in which color? I've honestly thought about doing it in purple. What would you guys recommend?" I asked, interested, looking at the many comments.
I'm living for the idea of Oreo hair on you, just like Yeji! 😍 Please make it happen!
Your stories are never dull, Y/n! We genuinely enjoy every moment of your lives! 💖
Your lives are boring because you're boring. No amount of hair dye can fix that. 🙄
Channeling Jennie's vibes? Yes, please! Can't wait to see the transformation. 🌈
Your slightly awkward lives are what make them charming! Keep being your authentic self! 😊
You think you're unique with Oreo hair? More like a wannabe trend follower
What actually happened to the rumors? What happened with Noh Jeong-yang?
My eyes were glued to a particular comment. Almost immediately, I licked my lips. As more comments about the topic started pouring in, I took a deep breath and put on a smile, shaking my head slightly.
"Noh Jeong-Yang. She was charged and lost the court case. That's all I can say about it. I haven't personally met her, and we have no contact with each other. To be honest, I want to nip this topic in the bud. I don't want Wooyeon-ah to be dragged through the mud, and I don't want any haters to speak ill of Wooyeon," I said a bit more seriously. My smile faded as I took another deep breath.
"I don't want to sound rude or attack anyone. But Wooyeon was my best friend. After seeing people making fun of the death of Taehyung-Sunbaenim's grandma, I don't want the same to happen to Wooyeon. So, I won't be saying anything more about this topic in the future. I apologize to the fans who are genuinely concerned and sincerely hope you understand," I added, bowing slightly.
Y/n, your honesty and openness with us fans is what makes you so special. We appreciate you keeping us in the loop about your life. Can't wait to see the new hairstyle! 💇‍♀️💖
Y/n, you're just attention-seeking. Your so-called 'best friend' drama is just a stunt for publicity. 🙄
If there's a kissing scene, I'm placing my bets on Y/n and Kim Tae-ri. Sorry, not sorry! 💋 #ShipSailing
Y/n, if you dye your hair, make sure to match it with your gaming chair. Aesthetic matters! 😂💁‍♀️
Y/n trying to answer rumors like a pro! Meanwhile, I can't even decide what to eat for dinner. 😂👏
Okay, but can we talk about the chemistry between Y/n and Kim Tae-ri in the drama? 🔥 Ship sailing smoothly! 🚢
Sending virtual hugs, Y/n! We're here for you no matter what. Stay strong! 💪💕
Who else is low-key hoping for a 'Jennie Oreo' hair reveal on the next live? I can already imagine Yeji being totally heart-eyed! 😍 #YeYnForever
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Astonished and with my mouth wide open, I stared at my sunbae on the stage. JYP was singing "Sweet Dreams." My mouth seemed to refuse to close. Until someone nudged me. Immediately, my mouth snapped shut, and I looked to my left. Almost instantly, I jolted back in shock.
That... That... That was... That was... PARK BO-YOUNG!!!!!!!!
My breath caught, and I immediately ignored my sunbae's performance. Newjeans had already drained all my energy as I loudly sang along to every single song. But now, my eyes were fixed on the actress next to me.
"I love you," I said, and the woman next to me heard it, causing her to look at me in surprise. Embarrassed, I felt my cheeks visibly heat up. I laughed nervously and bowed once as an apology. "I mean... uh... I know you. No, well... Um... I like you. Not romantically, I mean... Acting! Yes. You, uh..."
Bo-Young giggled at my clear stumbling and grinned happily. The older woman bowed in return as a thank you, but I ended up bowing almost three times as deep. My heartbeat quickened as the woman immediately started a conversation with me. Apparently, she knew me too!!!
Now I could die happily!
However, it didn't take long to hear that when Newjeans and JYP performed, cameras were pointed at us. Almost immediately, each of us gasped for air. I mean, everyone knew how to pose, even if you couldn't control it. Hey... at least I tried to clap.
But... this makeup... why did it remind me of Jackson Wang? Of course, only the kind ordered on Shein...
And this dress. It was beautiful.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/n and the actors looked like they just stepped out of a K-drama, and there's JYP, stepping out of our nightmares. 😅
Newjeans: 🌟 Y/n: 🌟 Bo-Young: 🌟 JYP: 👻
I love how Y/n and the actors were all graceful, and there's JYP, the embodiment of chaotic energy. 🤣
Newjeans got us vibing like proud parents, and then JYP came on, and suddenly we're all sending each other therapy bills. 🤦‍♂️
I swear, during JYP's performance, we all collectively forgot how to breathe. Is that part of the concert experience?
Y/n trying to handle the shock of seeing Park Bo-Young is all of us handling the shock of JYP's unexpected serenade. 💔😂
Does he have a humiliation Kink? Everytime i see him he does something like that
"Look at this. They're roasting JYP so hard," I said, laughing as I glanced over at Yeji beside me. The redhead slowly opened her eyes. My smile faded, and I lifted my head from her chest. "Oh, sorry, baby. You're right. It's late," I said with a slight smile.
Yeji mumbled something and looked at the clock. Almost immediately, her forehead furrowed. "It's only 7 PM," the older one said, yawning. I chuckled and shrugged my shoulders. Yeji pulled me back into her arms.
"Yeah, you're right. We have an early appointment at the hair salon tomorrow. A bit of sleep won't hurt, huh?" Yeji sighed softly. Amused, I snorted. My arms wrapped around the taller woman. The blanket was warm and heavy, making it easy to relax.
Yeji was the first of us to fall asleep. My smile grew as I observed the sleeping face of my girlfriend. My heartbeat pounded in my throat. It was unbelievable that I still felt so excited...
"Goodnight, baby."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smiling, I stepped out of my manager's van, Yuna closely behind me. I extended my arm to the woman behind me, which she promptly took. After all, she was wearing high heels. Yuna looked at me with a smile. "It feels like we're going to an American prom," Yuna said, laughing lightly. I couldn't help but laugh too.
Since we arrived, photos of us had been taken repeatedly. I smiled into the cameras. Yuna still clung to my arm as we slowly entered the building. I led Yuna, and of course, myself, to one of the tables. Yuna's mouth opened in surprise, and she automatically moved closer to me.
"Oh God... Is this a VIP party? I know almost everyone here," Yuna exclaimed. She squeaked a bit when she gripped my arm tighter. Wincing in pain, I hissed, "Calm down first. Let's find our table first. Which letter do you have?" I asked, and Yuna looked at me. She let go of my arm, "J," she replied, and my eyebrows almost shot up.
"Oh. Are we not sitting together?" I asked, and Yuna also looked surprised. Sighing, I smiled nervously. God, I hated sitting next to strangers...
I immediately extended my arm to the younger one, which she promptly took. Slowly but surely, we strolled to her table. On the way there, we casually greeted everyone. Orange hair immediately caught my eye, and my mouth opened. Yuna grinned widely and immediately sat down next to my girlfriend.
"Yuna, let's switch," I immediately suggested. A nervous smile on my lips. "No. You spent time with her yesterday and this morning! Now it's my turn," the younger one said, laughing. Yeji also laughed, so I looked at her. A small smile on my lips.
"Hey, sexy. Nice hairstyle," I said, winking, which made Yeji laugh even more. She licked her lips once, "I could say the same to you," Yeji replied with a small grin on her face. But my eyes fell on her outfit, and I gasped. Almost automatically, my hand landed on the table as I leaned slightly towards the person sitting.
"Hwang Yeji. Do you want to send me to the grave?" I asked, making Yeji tilt her head, grinning broadly. A laugh escaped her, which she tried to cover with her hand. "So? Do you?" I asked teasingly once again. However, Yeji stopped smiling, her fingers around my elbow as she looked deep into my eyes.
"Not yet. It's way too early. Not until you become a Hwang as well," the older one replied, leaving me speechless. My heart threatened to jump out of my chest, and my entire face turned bright red. "Oh. Are you blushing?" she asked in a deep and sexy tone.
"Yeji-ah," I complained a bit louder, which only made Yeji laugh even more. Goosebumps ran over my entire body, and I straightened up again. "Move. That's my seat," I heard someone say to Yuna, and I had to start smiling.
Ryujin also smiled at me as Yuna looked at her with her mouth open. "I'm table J," Yuna replied, but Ryujin shook her head. She pointed to another table. "There's your seat," the older one said, and almost immediately, Yuna pouted. "Oh, come on... I never get to see Yeji-Unnie," the younger one complained as she slowly stood up from her seat.
But my eyes returned to Yeji, and I smiled. "I should find my seat now. Shall we go home together?" I asked, and the older one nodded immediately. I nodded as well and sent her an air kiss as quickly as possible, then disappeared from her table.
When I finally found the letter of my table, I sat down immediately. I felt someone hit me with a bag, so I looked at the person next to me with enlarged eyes. It was Karina from Aespa.
"Oh my God. I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" the older woman asked, and almost immediately, her hand landed on the back of my head. Nervously, I laughed and waved it off, "It's okay. It honestly just surprised me a bit," I replied as calmly as possible. The woman next to me sighed in relief and sat down.
Next to her was Namjoon from BTS, which honestly made me nervous. Immediately, I grabbed my champagne glass and took a big sip. Immediately, I heard Namjoon chuckle. He also held a glass, occasionally taking a sip from it. "Let me guess," he said, humming. His eyes on Karina and me.
"Extroverted?" he asked, pointing at Karina. "And you're probably introverted," the older man said, causing my mouth to open slightly. Karina immediately agreed, while my eyes narrowed a bit, but I started to nervously laugh at the same time. "Um... how did you figure that out?" I asked, and Namjoon laughed again.
"You're clutching your glass as if your life depends on it," he replied, making me blush even more. Karina now looked at me with a smile, "What percentage?" she asked interestedly. Clearing my throat, I placed my glass on the table and looked at the two idols. "96," I replied, which seemed to shock both of them.
"Don't worry. We'll take care of you," Karina said, laughing slightly, and she immediately wrapped her arm around me. My face turned even redder as I simply started to smile.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Laughing, I glanced at Karina and Namjoon as the three of us started to dance. We swayed to the music, each of us holding a drink. My cheeks were already a bit red from all the alcohol I had consumed.
Perhaps I was already quite tipsy...
"I'm going for a smoke," Namjoon said, and my eyes widened a bit. Karina just nodded it off, but I held the older man's arm firmly. "What about the cameras?" I asked, which made Namjoon laugh. "Don't worry. I found a good corner. No cameras there," he replied, and I immediately nodded. "I'll come with you," I said, causing Karina's eyes to widen.
Relaxed, Namjoon and I headed to that quiet corner. He grabbed a cigarette and lit it. He noticed my look and offered me one. "Thanks. I don't bring cigarettes to avoid smoking, of course. You know... for female idols, it's still a bigger scandal," I sighed as I lit my cigarette.
"I know. I hate it too. But that's how it is. Everyone... has some opinion about you. The problem is you can't make everyone happy," the older man replied as he exhaled the smoke.
We continued to talk about how unfair it all was and how sexist it is. Namjoon also told me that he was reading a feminist book, which honestly surprised me. It was nice to talk to him. He was smart and patient. He let me speak and followed my thoughts.
Together, we all returned to the party, and almost immediately, I noticed Karina taking photos with some people. However, my eyes immediately fell on a bundle of orange hair. With a broad smile, I went straight to her, my arms around her waist.
The older one startled and turned to me. Simultaneously, she also wiped away my grip. My mouth opened in surprise, but Yeji immediately relaxed when she realized who was touching her. A laugh escaped her throat as she looked at me.
"You smell. Have you been smoking?" the older one said, her tone a bit more serious as she scrutinized my entire face. I visibly swallowed nervously and took a step away from her. Yeji sighed irritably, her eyes now slightly narrowed. Karina was right by my side, her arm around my shoulder since she was taller than me.
"Oh, Yeji. You know Y/n?" she asked, visibly surprised. Yeji glanced at the arm around my shoulder and then at Karina. "Yes," she replied, and Karina chuckled. Her fingers pinched my cheek. "Isn't she sweet?" Karina said, laughing lightly. I smirked, causing Yeji to narrow her eyes even more.
"Are you drunk?" the older one asked, looking at me. I just smiled even wider, trying to appear sweeter. Yeji took a deep breath and looked at me, her eyebrows tightly furrowed as she still noticed the arm around my shoulder. Karina didn't seem to notice at all.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice it either. Karina's body leaned against mine, and she just grabbed my glass, drinking from it without asking. Nervously, I swallowed when I immediately noticed Yeji's expression. Even Ryujin noticed this. "Karina, let go of Y/n," the slightly older one said, looking back and forth between Yeji and Karina.
"Why? She's so warm and sweet. Almost like a teddy bear," Karina said, visibly amused. I felt Yeji grab my wrist. "We should go home," Yeji said, her voice quieter. I nodded immediately with my head. Ryujin also grabbed Karina immediately and whispered something into the older one's ear.
I swallowed. "Are you... mad?" I asked, now a bit quieter as I approached her. Yeji took another deep breath, her hand in mine. "You said you'd quit smoking," Yeji said a bit softer. I pouted immediately. "I'm sorry. But I swear I haven't smoked all day," I replied now more seriously. Yeji smiled slightly.
Her hand still in mine, she said, "Let's go home. I want to spend some more time with you. Just you and me." The smile on her face made me smile too. I looked around. "But... can we stay a bit longer? I... would honestly like to have another drink," I replied, causing Yeji to start laughing.
She nodded her head. "But not too much, okay? I don't want you to fall asleep," Yeji said, smiling. Almost immediately, I heard Ryujin and Karina gasp for air. Both seemed to have heard it.
"Asleep?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. Yeji just smiled. "Oh. And no more flirting," Yeji added as she lightly squeezed my hand and then let it go.
Karina, Namjoon, and Y/n hanging out together? Squad goals! 🌟
I love the camaraderie between these idols. It's heartwarming to see them having a good time!
The way Y/n flirts with everyone is so cringy. Can't she be more professional?
I ship Y/n with both Yeji and Karina, they look so cute together! 🚢💕
Ryujin needs to mind her own business. Stop interfering. 🤦‍♂️
Karina and Y/n dancing together is ICONIC! Friendship goals, seriously
Why is Yeji acting like a jealous girlfriend? It's just annoying. Y/n can handle herself, she doesn't need a babysitter
Ryujin and Karina witnessing the drama like they're watching a K-drama live. Can we get popcorn?
Ryujin playing matchmaker with Y/n and Karina. Is this a new idol ship? #KarYn #MatchmakerRyujin 🚢💖
Namjoon diagnosing Y/n's personality based on how she holds a glass is peak Sherlock Holmes material

sorry for the long ask coming up!
disclaimer i'm fairly new to rhett & link/GMM + adjacent and i definitely haven't caught up on all the past GMMs or everything else they've done, but i've noticed a lot of things about randl so...
i wanted to bring up link's weird contradictory mentions of his sexuality, honestly. i remember seeing the video where they talk about gay dating apps and link refuses to call himself a straight man ("as a... as me in this world") + the ear biscuits where they talk about how they've gotten more comfortable acting gay "for comedy" + link talking about not caring about labels BUT then i feel like link puts a weird emphasis on being straight and monogamous in some videos too. what i wanna know is if there is at least a vague timeline here you can put these attitudes on because i get the impression he goes back and forth but idk if he's holding these attitudes concurrently or if there's a pattern, maybe? again, i'm a relatively new fan so i feel like it's because i haven't really experienced the timeline of all this myself.
Hello, welcome to the fandom! Sorry for the late reply, I am sort of having very low energy these days.
What I have concluded is that they do back and forths all the time. Sometimes I get the impression they give out mixed signals on purpose but I cannot fully rationalise it.
I have a timeline but it is about my general observation of their interactions and behaviours, through which conclusions about Link’s exploration of sexuality topics could be drawn.
When they started back in 2012, Link was way more reserved. True, he has always been silly and doing impulsive things, but he made sure to not say inappropriate stuff. At the time, GMM was also resolutely a family friendly show. Things such as mentioning sexuality and labels were entirely out of the question. Link had impulsive moments of getting touchy, sensitive or saying something compromising about how intimate (not sexually but more than your guy friend typical) they get in private but those were quickly blocked by a very uptight Rhett.
Around 2014-15, there is a shift in the way they interact with each other. They are more cutesy, more flustered, make more heart eyes. Rhett has loosened up compared to the previous years, enough that he sometimes makes inappropriate jokes, such that Link often has to cut him off or control him.
2016, Link changes haircut. Rhett loosens up even more. 2016-2017, Rhett at times seems uncontainable. Link is more assured in himself, his silliness and his openness but nothing extremely different.
2018-2019, ups and downs in their dynamics but Link goes ballistic. He starts being way more daring in the way he talks and acts, at times bewildering even us. Rhett fluctuates between being flustered all the time or shutting down. At times Link becomes too obvious in his actions. He starts dressing differently, his posture changes a little, he starts provoking Rhett consciously. Other times he seems to be in a low, pensive mood. There are still no talks on sexuality except in a humorous context in LTAT.
2020, spiritual deconstruction (Link’s is brave and heavily insinuating stuff) + creative house. Then COVID quarantine stops them in their tracks. According to what they said, they both were genuinely very cautious during the peak of the pandemic and stayed at home without meeting for quite some time. Link seemed to become more reserved at the time, somewhat going back to his previous self, he is pensive, melancholic and too concerned with Christy’s health problems to bother much with not seeing Rhett enough. On the contrary, Rhett climbs the walls in his house. He becomes uncharacteristically needy and open.
2021-2022, Mythical becomes more verbal and open about its support to LGBT people and Rhett and Link follow along. However, after the pandemic Link has not reached his 2018-2019 levels of boldness. Rhett is a hard mix to define, he is mostly contained and more reserved than the previous years but he has his outbursts too. GME helps Link let loose whereas it takes years off from Rhett’s life. In every Sextember that follows they describe their very straight sexual lives. From the second half of 2022, Link starts to make vague implications.
2023, Link starts the year with big statements such as that he is now living his best life. He starts talking a lot about the exploration of oneself and identity and is more clear in his conversations regarding labels and sexuality. Rhett is not having a good time, he becomes more closed off and appears frequently to be anxious or irritated, which he also addresses in some podcasts. Link’s outbursts sometimes involve provoking Rhett, but unlike in 2018-2019, they now mostly involve speaking more openly about himself. While this is an ongoing situation there are frequent breaks of stated straightness in between. Especially after the summer Link’s intentions have become a rollercoaster, with constant risks and immediate overcorrection. Their scripted videos are steadily bolder than they are.
That’s my recollection, there may be some inaccuracies regarding the precise years mentioned but I think it is mostly correct. Link’s attempts to open up about himself and his journey of exploration is a fairly new situation. The official start is his spiritual deconstruction but it did not become a regular effort on his part before 2022.

How Far Did Aurie Get on Her WIPs? (11/15/23)
Hello! Welcome to the November 2023 special edition of "How Far Did Aurie Get On Her WIPs?" Let's see how "far" she has gotten!
I am fifteen days behind, but better late than never, right? Right!
I haven't done much this past month, especially considering the new game that Alby and I released taking up literally every second of free time that I had during the entire month of October.
ACTUALLY, if you want, you can go check out the game over on itch.io! Here is the game and here is the intro post. Enjoy!
Needless to say, I have no major updates on my games. Although...
I got covid last week, actually! If you know and follow ST4RDOM's account, you likely already know this.
For the sake of my mind, I'll copy and paste what I wrote that's relevant to this:
This is actually my first time getting covid, or at least testing positive. It hit me really hard (like I was close to 104°F, which is 40°C) and I swear for three entire days I was just sleeping. It's been exactly a week since I felt those symptoms, and though I am still testing positive I feel much better and more in the mood to write! Though I can't say I have done much on ST4RDOM 😅 I was working on another project of mine just yesterday (which was my first time actually touching my computer ever since I got sick and writing), and I nearly fell asleep doing so lol
I still have brain fog, also. It wasn't in this quote, but I have brain fog thanks to covid and unfortunately I still have it, so progress on ATOL and all other games will be slower than normal until I can get my brain rebooted.
So I haven't done much, other than coding and writing this upcoming project of mine (which is listed in the masterpost lol). I first created the first draft back in January and just recently I've upgraded the UI and rewritten parts of the prologue. Which was yesterday.
Sweet! Now it's further ahead than ST4RDOM, which I literally created an account for because I thought I was going to have that game done soon. (Though I already had the original prologue, so all I'm doing is revamping it 😅)
Anyways, this game was originally meant to be my MAIN main game; the one I am meant to throw every coding skill I know into it. So I think that is why.
That's all from me, I think. I can't think of anything at the moment, so I am going to sign out now 🫡 hope you all have a good day, and stay safe from covid.
See you all on the next episode of "How Far Did Aurie Get On Her WIPs?" :)

Bucky pulls up on the gator to the front of the house. He sees a woman waiting on his porch looking a little annoyed. He gets out of the gator opening the back of it to let the dogs out. They run to the porch to their water bowls as he follows.
"Hello ma'am, is there something I could help you with?" Bucky asks.
"I'm Ms. Grant from social services, im here to check over your house! Where have you been?"
"I've been working on the farm. I can give a tour of it after I show you the house." Bucky smiles he opens the door of the house welcoming her inside.
"Okay give me a minute to look around." Ms. Grant says, "which room will Ms. L/n be in?"
"Last door on the left. Mine is right across the hall." Bucky explains. "I'll make some coffee while you look around."
"That would be great thank you." She smiles before she goes into the living room.
"Oh and on the desk in there I have a binder of all the papers that I was told I needed." He peaks in the. She looks at the binder and nods. He goes back to the kitchen beginning to make a pot of coffee. He grabs his phone looking at the time. It's almost noon. He knows you started school last week and are having a terrible time. He wants to let you know but he doesn't want to bother you during school. He texts you telling you to call him after school. He nervously sits at the table waiting for the woman to come back.
It's takes her a few minutes before she comes in checking the kitchen over. Bucky tries to control his knee from bouncing but he can't. This was the only thing stopping him from gaining custody of you.
"I think it's time for the tour of the property."

You had gotten the text during lunch. You've nervously been waiting. You got on the bus and texted him. You tell him you'll be able to call in a few minutes. You haven't really talked to anyone at your new school. You doubted you'd be here for long so you were just waiting and counting down the days until you could be in marvelfalls again.
"Hey weirdo." You don't look up choosing to just stare at you phone instead. "Oh don't ignore me." Someone pushes you head but you ignore them and look out the window.
"Come on L/n we just want to talk." A new voice says.
"Leave me alone Colton." You say as the bus stops. You stand grabbing you bag and hurry off of it. You look around noticing you have zero clue where you are. You are lost now. You sigh pulling out your phone and calling bucky. Not to help you get home since obviously he doesn't know where to go. You just wanted to know what he wanted to tell you.
"Hey doll! How was school?"
"Fine I guess." You begin walking down the road. You put him on speaker and pull up a map on your phone.
"Well the house just evaluated and I should find out if I'm getting my foster license by Friday!"
"Really? So if you get your license how long till I get to go back to the farm?"
"Probably by next Monday."
"That's amazing! I hate this school. I miss the dogs.."
"Only the dogs?" He asks.
"I guess I miss the horses too." You tease.
"Wow rude." He laughs.
"Okay I have to go... Bye Buck."
"Bye doll."

Hi hey hello, it's PK! And today is particularly special to me because *insert dramatic drum roll*:
It's my channel anniversary!
Well, one of them (/lh). For those unaware, I make narrative audio roleplay content on YouTube. And exactly one year ago, I posted a video called Welcome To Noderum. It marked the first step in a completely new direction for my channel a few months after I first discovered Redacted. Until finding his work, I hadn't realized how much more I could be doing with my own videos. And I haven't looked back since (/pos).
This was also the formal introduction of magic (aka the vivified world) to the channel! Which is why I refer to it as the Vivified Channel Anniversary. All of that to say, I legit can't fathom that it's been a year since that video. I had 2 speakers when that went live, and now I've got 13 (and more on the way). I've discovered even more channels and have gotten to interact with some amazing VAs, which is something I never could've anticipated. To have anyone else be invested in my silly little characters and stories means the world to me because I'm just out here, sharing in hopes of making people feel things (/lh /pos).
With all of that out of the way: I am humbly setting forth an invitation for questions/asks/messages about the channel! I know a few people who follow me here listen to my vids, and even if you don't, I love chatting so I'm up for anything. It can be about speakers, listeners, lore/worldbuilding, my process, me, go wild. But also don't feel pressured by any means! (/gen) I just figure now's a good time to throw the idea out there, y'know?
[Also special shout out to all of my friends who have witnessed the madness behind the scenes. Couldn't do this without y'all, I think I'd go insane all alone /lh /pos]

!!!!! multi!!! im glad youre back!! ive missed seeing your icon on my dash! ive been working so much on my silly little stories with my silly little guys, idk if ive told you about them but its my time traveling story, im finally beefing my characters and getting to know them better! ive been using a prompt list for june and forcing myself to write something for this story everyday and its been going really well!! (i can tell you more if youd like) i keep making everything really sad and tragic tho..... dunno whats up with that lmao. is there anything youve been working on recently??
RUNS AT YOU hiiiii!! :D yeah yeah!!! i never like. reallly left but i'm not gonna pretend i haven't been a bit MIA lmao......... have not had the energy to engage with people that much lately. BUT today is a new day and i am beating the sleeby boy allegations.
YEAH YOU'VE TOLD ME A LITTLE!!! oh that's so fucking cool OMG i'm so excited you're having so much fun with them and developing them more! i love your little guys okay they mean SO MUCH to me!!! and OHHH YES YES HELLO??? okay, if you don't mind, can you PLEASE send some of that my way??? or if you want please feel free to tag me in it if you post it! because i love your stuff so so much and i want to go off the shits.
and regardless, you're always welcome to come into my inbox and talk to me about what you're working on. at all times. i encourage you to do it!!!!! also that's so real. something about giving fictional people problems........ intoxicating.
but yes yes!!! so like i said i haven't had much energy to work on stuff lately, but i do have some things i've been bouncing around! a big thing is a tftgs fanfic character study i'm tentatively titling "in case you don't live forever," centered around jack and his relationship with his ex-girlfriend sabine.
sabine is such a fascinating character to me for loads of reasons, many of them being the fact that we learn basically nothing about her. she is the epitome of a character who haunts the narrative, at least in my opinion, and this started as like... me exploring what i think she was like. what kind of person she was. it then evolved into an exploration of what might've happened if sabine had *lived* and gotten to be happy.
so it's an au where she and jack run away together and start a new life in a new state. it's super emotional and tender and sweet and writing it is really cathartic and healing for me. i'm also using it as an opportunity to explore concepts that are tried and true multi-lefaiye classics: mental health, trauma, queerness, and how they all blend together at times. most of all, though, it's about healing.
i'm including an excerpt under the cut!
It’s just after two in the morning on a Saturday night in mid-2007, and for the last time, Sabine Lemoyne stands alone in her childhood bedroom.
She’s had this room since she was eight, and the decorations haven’t changed much in the following decade. The walls are the same soft, muted purple she adored growing up, plastered with posters for old movies and bands she hasn’t listened to in years, and it nicely complements the pink shag carpet beneath her feet. Her immaculate bedspread is bright and cheery, covered in colorful illustrations of grinning flowers and vibrant greenery. Her favorite childhood stuffed animal, a little pink cat named Eevie, sits on the desk across from her bed, watching her with vacant glass eyes.
Her room has always brought her some modicum of comfort, a sanctuary of peace and solitude in a tumultuous world, but now, standing in the mausoleum of times long since passed, it feels stifling. She can’t breathe in here.
Sabine has to leave. And that’s exactly what she intends to do.
The duffel bag on her bed has been packed for days now, and she’s only just finished packing the backpack leaning against it. Inside the duffel bag, she’s packed clothes, books, and an extra pair of shoes; the backpack, meanwhile, holds her toiletries, six hundred dollars in cash, and two laminated folders. Inside one folder are two bus tickets, set for departure in one hour.

my love, my loveeee!!! it’s been a while but you were on my mind today and I just wanted to stop in and say hello! 🤍🤍 I hope that you’ve been well and taking it easy. How’s this month been treating you?? Anything new going on?
I just wanted to tell you thank you for ALWAYS sending me the sweetest and kindest messages. Always checking in on me and just being an absolute sweetie pie. I adore you so so much and I am incredibly thankful for you! I hope that you have a wonderful week, my dear and that you’re taking care of yourself. Love and kisses!! 😘😘
Aweee, my sweet girl!! 🤭 You love me that much, babes? 'm a little tired from running around your mind. 😉
I've missed you dearly, my angel. You made my day, as I wasn't really having a good one, so much better. I saw your little message and it brought a smile to my face. I recently saw you hit a milestone, my dear! Congratulations!! I'm so very happy for and proud of you! You really do deserve it, with your sweet self.
As for this month, I've been quite busy. I got my Christmas shopping done though! And I'm glad I got that outta the way. I also saw you were planning to head back to school, how was that going for you, my darling? I hope it wasn't too stressful for you, wouldn't want your pretty self worrying too much.
As for anything new, I'm working on getting the okay for an internship for school! I'm in a program for school and I get to work with preschoolers, and let me tell you, they are so cute!! Melts my heart in ways I didn't know it could. I want to become a high school teacher, but I'm trying to get an internship at a middle school to see if that's something I'd prefer, just to be sure. I adore working with the kiddos though, but I think I'll end up working at a high school.
What about you, princess? Anything new or exciting happening to you? Do tell me, I love hearing from you. I do hope you've been taking care of yourself. I've struggled a bit on my end, but I'm getting better. You are very welcome, honey! I love sneaking into your inbox and checking up on my sweet girl. I often go back and read your responses to old asks I sent. I get very happy and giggly when I see all the little nicknames and I love the way you respond to me.
I'm sorry I haven't popped in recently, my sweet. Life has gotten crazy recently, but you're always on my mind and I'm always wishing you the best from my little corner. I am extremely thankful for you, as you've been one of my moots/followers since the beginning, when my writing wasn't very good and I was just starting out. I love and adore you very very much, lovebug. I wish you a wonderful week, my darling angel. Please take care of yourself, sweetheart. I will pop up in your inbox soon, I promise. Please smile lots and don't forget to do things FOR YOURSELF!! It isn't bad or selfish of you. Know that I will always be in your corner and you are always welcome in my inbox or messages.
Hugs and kisses to you, babygirl! 🫶🫶🤍❤️

The Phenomenon of the Immortal Sun: Jasper Hale x Fleur Swan, Chapter 3
Tumblr media
None of the characters in Twilight belong to be, all rights go to Stephenie Meyer.
"'Cause I'm lovesick And I ain't even ashamed And I'm hard up, for some time in your sheets Would you be down to spend all your time with me? 'Cause I'm lovesick."
Lovesick by, BANKS.
The reception looked absolutely beautiful It seemed every inch of it was covered in decorations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I have to admit, Alice and Rosalie know what they're doing," Jasper said.
"They even made the cake look appetizing to me... not enough for me to stomach to eat it but still," I replied, ever since I had become a vampire, human food made me sick.
"They've done their job then," Jasper said a smile was still etched on his face.
We began to sway to the music, I melted into him.
"Please call me your baby, baby Look how long that you have kept me waiting I'm all in, look at all that I have given Oh, I know your love before I kissed you And now you have only made me miss you Come get me Come love me, baby come love me."
"'Cause I'm lovesick And I ain't even ashamed And I'm hard up, for some time in your sheets Would you be down to spend all your time with me? 'Cause I'm lovesick."
"I just wish Bree could be out here with the rest of us..."
"I wish she could too, but even if she wasn't presumed dead...being around all the humans wouldn't be good for her," Jasper explained comfortingly.
"I know." I pecked Jasper's cheek.
"Please call me your baby baby baby Look how long that you have kept me waiting I'm all in, look at all that I have given Oh, I know your love before I kissed you And now you have only made me miss you Come get me Come love me, baby come love me."
"'Cause I'm lovesick And I ain't even ashamed And I'm hard up, for some time in your sheets Would you be down to spend all your time with me? 'Cause I'm lovesick.'
"Are you going to tell me where we're going or is it going to be a surprise still." I inquired.
"Patience my love, good things come to those who wait." He teased, biting my lip.
I whined
"I don't wanna wait..."
'Cause I'm lovesick And I ain't even ashamed And I'm hard up for some time in your sheets Would you be down to spend all your time with me? 'Cause I'm lovesick
'Cause I'm love sick 'Cause I'm love sick 'Cause I'm love sick 'Cause I'm love sick 'Cause I'm love sick 'Cause I'm love sick
We broke apart from our loving embrace when the song ended. I scanned the crowd searching to see if I could find Leah and Seth again, when I did I dragged Jasper with me eager to see them.
"Hi, I'm so glad you guys made it!" I greeted them and pulling them both in for a hug.
"Good to see you Fleur, you look beautiful." Leah said, Seth nodded in agreement. I saw Billy Black and Sue standing behind them. I walked up to them and hugged them too.
"I hope you'll be happy Fleur...I wish you both the best." Billy said with a somber tone.
"Thank you."
"Well, I don't know about the rest of you but I plan on getting drunk. Sue, could I interest you in a glass of Champaign?" Dad asked.
Before Sue could speak Billy interrupted them.
"Sparkling fire water. Sounds great." Billy said, almost running over dad's ankles." They all walked away.
"How long do you think it'll take for them to get together?" I asked Jasper.
"I give them a month or 2." Jasper estimated. Two unfamiliar voices greeted us both.
"Fleur, Jasper! Congratulations!" A woman greeted.
"Thank you." Jasper replied.
Two gorgeous vampires greeted us, one male and one female.
"Hi, Umm... Eleazar and Carmen, right?" I guessed.
"Mhm, Hola!" Carmen said.
I then saw three blonde women standing behind them, observing us. Jasper saw me looking at them and answered the thought bubbling in my head.
"Those these are our cousins from Alaska. Tanya, Kate, and Irina."
"We've heard so much about you. I'm Tanya." She greeted sticking out her hand for me to shake it.
"Welcome to the family. Bienvenida." Eleazar added.
"Thank you. You're very welcoming." I said.
"Irina, Come meet Fleur." Carmen called out to her.
I could tell something was troubling Irina and I followed to where her gaze was fixated at. She was looking at Seth, anger was in her eyes.
"I can't do this..." She grumbled.
"You promised," Tanya hissed at her.
"She invited one of them."
Jasper looked to where she was gesturing to and sighed.
"Irina, he's one of our friends."
"They killed Laurent!" She rebutted back
"He tried to kill my sister and I." I explained.
"I don't believe that." She said, getting in my face.
"I suggest you back away now... we don't need to cause a scene." I grumbled getting even closer to her face.
She backed away and left, stomping away.
"I'm sorry you guys, thank for coming." I said, a guilty look made it's way onto my face.
"No no don't worry about it..." Carmen comforted.
"Well. Let's not monopolize the bride. Congratulations." Eleazar said. Walking away with Carmen
"Thank you."
"We're sorry." Tanya said, her and Kate walked away as well.
"Well.. what's a wedding without a little family drama huh?" I asked playfully.
"C'mon you let's go, speeches are starting." Jasper said, pulling me in the direction of the chairs.
"Excuse me. Is this on? Hello?" I heard Rosalie whistle at Emmett.
"Umm, I'd like to propose a toast. To my new sister. Fleur, I hope you've gotten enough sleep these last 19 years. 'Cause you won't be getting any more for a while." Emmett laughed and winked at me.
My mouth was slightly agape and I breathed out a laugh. I turned and saw my dad who downed his glass of champagne. My mother just rolled her eyes and repeated what my father had done. I saw Leah stand up and go over to the stage.
"Fleur... I've known you for as long as I could remember. Some of my favorite memories were with you on that beach. And the reaction you would give every time I would shove you into the freezing cold water."
Everyone in the crowd laughed.
"I know I haven't always been the nicest to you, after my father died I completely blew you off.... I know I treated you coldly. But you still were kind and gracious to me and my brother Seth. So thank you... for always being there for me even when I wasn't there for you. Jasper, you better take care of her, you have a whole lot of people who are willing to hunt you down." Leah finished. Jasper gave her a nod and a smile, a silent promise in a way.
My dad stepped up next, I saw tears in his eyes and gave him a comforting smile.
"Jasper will be a good husband. I know this because I'm a cop. I know things. Like how to hunt somebody to the ends of the Earth... I also know how to shoot a gun. But I also know this because he's loyal and empathetic, and a wonderful influence on my daughter. He sniffled before continuing, I love you Fleur... and I'm so happy for you... for both of you."
"Now that you're my sister, you'll have to get over your version to fashion... Yes, you have some style but... the t-shirt and jeans have got to go... and those god-awful ankle boots have got to go too." Alice said.
"Never!" I jokingly yelled.
"Fleur, I remember when Jasper had come home saying he had finally met "the one." I was skeptical, scared even... my first instinct on you was to hate your guts and keep you away from my family. But then I got to know you and I saw how compassionate and understanding you were. I knew you wouldn't hurt my brother, who had been treated horribly for so long and deserved someone with the same amount of compassion as him. Thank you Fleur, welcome to the family. To Jasper and Fleur!" Rosalie finished raising a champagne glass.
"To Jasper and Fleur!" Everyone repeated.
Dinner had gone by smoothly, everyone was too distracted to notice none of the Cullen's and I had eaten or drunk anything. Soon enough after most of the cake was devoured it was time for us to go. I had to run to the bathroom since my contacts were beginning to dissolve in my eyes due to the venom. When I got back out I saw Alice and Rosalie putting Jasper and I's bags into my car. Before I could make it to my car dad approched me.
"Well... It's gonna be strange, you not living under my roof." He started.
"Yeah. It's gonna be strange for me, too." I replied.
"You know it will always be your home, right?"
I know dad, I love you. Forever. I pulled him in for a hug.
"I love you, too, Petal. I always have and I always will. All right. Go on. You don't wanna miss your plane. Wherever it's going."
"I won't dad... I should probably say bye to mom and Bella too..."
"Good luck Petal," Dad said, humor was in his voice. I sighed and walked my way over to them, they were embracing and saying goodbye to one another, since Bella was going on her honeymoon too.
"Oh, Bella... I will miss you so much, I love you." Renee said tearfully.
"I love you too mom, I will miss you too," Bella replied. They both stopped talking to one another when I approached them. Their faces dropped, it seemed I dampened the mood.
"Well, I'll see you later mom, Bella, have a good one." I said.
"Yes, I'll see you in nine months... I mean... later." Renee said condescendingly.
"Mother, even if I was pregnant I wouldn't let you near my child. They don't need your spews of toxicity around them." I spat out before walking away.
I hugged all of the Cullens before walking up to the car, I was about to get into the driver's seat when I threw the keys at Jasper. His face was in shock.
"Only because we got married, cowboy, it's a present from me to you."
"Thanks, Darlin." He smiled at me.
We began to drive off, I waved at the people in the crowd and smiled at them.
"Ready to go?" Jasper asked.
"Yeah...I'm ready."

little life update
hello my lovelies, it has been a little while hasn't it?
i still check tumblr from time to time (and still get notifs for chats which people are more than welcome to use), but to be honest i think i've finally lost interest in tumblr. most of the time the website or the app doesn't work properly for me, and since i'm not really making art right now i haven't got anything to contribute either.
i'm slightly more active on instagram so feel free to follow and chat with me there <3
but as for a little life update:
i'd say we're handling covid pretty okay here in australia. things are mostly back to normal, so my anxiety surrounding that has reduced somewhat.
i'm still at my same warehouse job, still enjoying it, still smashing kpis, and will hopefully be offered a permanent position in the next couple of weeks.
my mental health is a bit up and down at the moment, but i've finally gotten around to finding a new therapist which will be super helpful. i also found out i'm pretty anemic so trying to get that sorted is totally fun (not)
i haven't really had the energy to make art, so far this year i've only done two drawings:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
right now i'm really into writing though, and making people more aware of mental health and trying my best to share my journey with it. so that's been a fun outlet.
probably the biggest change for me has been that i've met someone. we've been dating for about four months and it's going really well so far. he brings me so much peace, is kind, understanding, funny, the biggest dork and the best cuddler. (and that drawing up there is what i made him for valentines day xD). i've never really been in a proper healthy relationship before, so it's really nice.
other than that life is pretty much the same. i'm very much trying to live life as best as i can in these weird times. i'm very much putting most of my effort into surrounding myself with good experiences with good people, and also going through a lot of personal growth and exploration.
i have my good days and my bad, but overall i definitely feel as if i'm working towards the life i've always wanted, and becoming the person i know i can be, which is very exciting.
i do miss all the friends i've made here on tumblr, so please, don't hesitate to send me a message, i'd love to chat with you! i hope you're all doing well, and who knows, i may come back to tumblr again.

Thank you to @icequeenoriginal for reading through this for me!
--------------------
A lone van drove along the twisted road into the town of Letchworth. The people of the town watched the van through their curtains as it passed by while on it's way to the town's only hotel, Brooks Inn. The town was on fear induced lockdown during the night. But the people in the van couldn't possibly know that.
The people in the van were actually kind of professional sleuths. They had handled countless different mysteries before. Each one ranging from predictable to bizarre with various different monsters as the cause of each one. Of course, the townspeople couldn't possibly know that. So they watched with fear-filled eyes as the van pulled into the Inn's parking lot.
Out of the van came a small odd little group consisting of two glasses-wearing figures, a princely looking fellow, a fellow with dark eyeshadows under his eyes, and a dog. Together, they walked inside the Inn and the townspeople lost sight of them.
-------
An older woman sat at the front desk to the Brooks Inn. The inn was empty, not a guest laid in her rooms. It was to be expected, the recent events have scared away any previous guest and most others left after one night. The old woman, whose name was Agatha, sighed. She wasn't sure why she didn't just close the inn. After all, it was late and recent circumstances provided a bit of a risk in staying open at night. Just as she decided to close the inn, a small group walked in. She quickly put on a small, reserved smile and greeted them. "Hello, welcome to Brooks Inn."
The one in darker blues and glasses stepped forward. "Yes, hello. We would like two rooms for the night please."
The woman nodded. "That will be $75," she said as she moved to grab two keys for each room. She placed the keys on the counter and took the money the man in front of her had placed down. "Can I have a name for the records?"
One of the others spoke up, "Virgil Rogers."
The woman frowned a little before filling out the information on the computer. "Alright," she said. Let me take you to your rooms. She led the group up the stairs and then to their rooms. "Here we are." She handed the keys over. "Rooms 2B and 3B."
"Thank you!" One of the group called. He had glasses and lighter colored clothes.
The one from earlier, Virgil, spoke up as he glanced around suspiciously. "This town seems awfully empty."
The woman bit her lip. "Oh, that." The group became alert and they all turned their attention to her. "Um, recently, we've been having some trouble in town."
"What kind of trouble?" The last human of the group asked. His look seemed to consist of colors one would associate with a prince.
"Well.." The woman hesitated. She didn't want to sound crazy but she decided to just tell the group, it wouldn't be right to keep it from them, they were at risk too, even if they didn't know it. "A phantom has been terrorizing the town recently. They scared off my last paying guest."
The bubbly one's eyes lit up as Virgil groaned. "Well gang, it looks like we've got a mystery to solve!" The woman's eyes widened in surprise. The first one of the group, the one wearing the ascot, spoke up. "We are sleuths. We've solved a few mysteries before. This one will be a breeze. And I assure you, there is most definitely a logical explanation for this."
The woman nodded slowly, not quite believing them. "Well, enjoy your stay," she responded before turning and leaving to go shut down the Inn.
The group watched her go before turning to each other. "Alright, we'll see you tomorrow. Sleep well!" The bubbly one exclaimed and took one of the rooms with the other glasses-wearing figure following him after giving his own good night.
The other two and the dog turned to their own room and closed the door.
--------
The next morning, the gang gathered in the inns dining room to discuss their next move to begin their investigation. "Alright, let's start by looking around for any clues and if we find anyone willing to be interviewed, we'll interview them," Logan explained.
"Sounds like a plan," Patton agreed.
"We're not going to split up, right?" Virgil asked as he scratched behind Thomas's ear.
"Not, yet," Logan answered and pulled a journal out of his bag. "I've written down a few questions and things we should look out for while we're investigating."
Roman rolled his eyes. "Come on, Logan we've been through this a million times. We know what to look out for and what kind of questions to ask. Let's just get going already."
"Be nice," Patton chided.
The group got up and left the Inn and began walking around town. They found it a little weird that the town now seemed so lively. When they had arrived last night, it was still fairly early, far too early for everyone in town to be all locked up in their homes. After walking for a fair amount of time, the gang noticed a few people walking around as if they were on eggshells. Virgil bit his lip before jerking his head at one of them. "Maybe we should ask one of them."
"Alright." Logan walked over to ask if they could interview them while the rest of the gang waited. Soon Logan waved them over. The gang approached as the person before they inspected them carefully. "You said you saw the Phantom," Logan started. "Would you mind telling us about that?"
The person bit their lip and glanced around. "Well," they started. "I was just taking my evening walk. When I started to hear this loud wailing." The person before them shivered. "It was really unsettling, so I turned to go home only to run into the Phantom. It looked like they had stepped straight out of a scary movie. They had pale bluish-grey, ghastly skin and it terrified me." The person sighed. "Ever since then, the Phantom has walked around every night. And two nights ago, they nearly pushed someone off the roof of the library."
The gang shared a glance, they had never dealt with a mystery like this. Sure there were some terrifying monsters they had to deal with but none of them ever put people’s lives at risk. "Did the Phantom say anything to you?" Patton asked.
They nodded. "Yeah, they told me to leave and never return before I regretted it."
Roman's nose wrinkled. "That's interesting. Is there anything else you can tell us about the Phantom?"
The person shook their head. "Nope, I'm sorry."
"That's okay, thank you for your help," Patton said and the gang walked away.
"Do you guys think whatever this phantom wants is something that involves getting all of the people in town to leave?" Roman asked.
Virgil shrugged. "I mean, it seems like it, but why?"
"Let's head back to the Inn for lunch and then I'll do some research on the town and see what I can dig up."
"Sounds like a plan," Virgil said as he ruffled Thomas's head. The gang head back to the Inn. Patton ordered a pizza while Logan went to get his tablet. Roman, Virgil, and Thomas wandered into the dining room to wait for their friends. Soon they were joined by Logan who immediately began working on pulling up the town records, recent articles, the most recent town map, and an older town map. By the time Patton came in with the pizza, Logan had about three different theories about why the town was being haunted and a few different suspects.
"So, what have you discovered, Logan?" Patton asked as the group ate.
"Well," Logan began. "I have found that recently, a wealthy business owner had offered to buy the whole town. But they refused. So he offered to buy single bits of land at a time."
"I thought it might be something like that," Roman piped up.
Logan nodded. "Yeah, I think our most likely suspect is Carl Livingking. He's the business owner. Although why he would want to buy up the town, I haven't a clue."
Virgil bit his lip, "I have to agree, that seems like the most likely situation. But why would he go to the lengths of risking people's lives to get the town? I mean, it seems like he's trying to scare people off, and you can do that without putting people's lives at risk so why is he doing it?"
Logan shrugged. "That's what I can't seem to find anything on. The land isn't even that good. But something tells me that we're missing out on an important clue."
"Hey, L," Virgil started. "Can I borrow your tablet for a minute?"
"Sure."
Virgil quickly opened a new tab and did a quick google search. Soon he found something that looked promising. "Maybe you can't find anything, because this town is fairly new." He spun the tablet around to face the rest of the table. Thomas hopped up on a chair to get a closer look. "It says here that apparently, the land that this town sits on is part of a larger area that is said to be the hiding grounds of the legendary Sanderson Gang."
"Oh, I've read about them!" Logan exclaimed. "They were train robbers. They stole over two million dollars worth of coins and precious stones. But they were never caught. No one knows where the loot went. Rumors spread that it was somewhere in this area but most people thought the gang had fled the country with their treasures and settled down on a remote island somewhere in the Pacific. Eventually, the rumors died down and some people settled down here and started a town. Since then, the Sanderson Gang faded into legend and most people forgot they were real people."
"So Mr. Livingking must be trying to find the treasure," Patton exclaimed.
"And what better way than to buy up all the land, evict the town and start a massive expedition."
"He could keep people out and avoid anyone trying to steal the loot."
Logan nodded. "Yes. It seems so, he isn't doing a good job of covering his tracks. He was actually able to buy a nearby abandoned factory."
The gang went silent as they looked between each other. "Should we set up a trap?"
Roman asked.
Logan bit his lip. "It would be wise. During my research, I found that the Phantom has put two people in the hospital with near-death experiences. Even if it's not him, the Phantom is clearing trying to scare people out of the town so they should still turn up if we are out at night."
"Yeah, I'd rather have a trap for the most likely culprit already then not have one and risk someone else getting hurt," Patton agreed.
"Alright, so what's the plan?" Virgil asked as Thomas hopped up on the chair beside him.
Logan quickly opened the drawing app on his tablet and began to sketch out a plan.
"Okay, Patton, Roman and I will set up a trap in the town square-"
"Oh don't tell me," Virgil started. "Thomas and I are gonna be the bait."
"Well, you two are the faster runners out of all of us," Logan explained. "It's only logical." Virgil and Thomas pouted. Logan rolled his eyes.
"Would you do it for a Thomas Treat?" Patton asked Thomas. The dog's ears perked up a bit but he stayed still.
Roman poked Virgil with his foot. "Do it or you're straight."
Virgil sputtered. "Don't threaten me!"
Roman snorted. "Then do it."
Logan rolled his eyes at the two childhood friends. As Patton finally convinced Thomas. And it only took ten Thomas Treats. "Okay, I need you two to go on a walk around town. Virgil, I need you to talk out loud about buying the whole town with Thomas. It'll be like you surveying what you're going to buy while taking your dog for a walk." Virgil cringed, not likely the idea of acting like one of those rich people. "I want you to eventually end up at the abandoned factory and if you happen across the Phantom, lure him back to the square. Okay?"
Virgil groaned. "Yeah, I guess."
"Great," Logan said and the gang continued to flush out their plan. In the end, they came up with an elaborate trap, one of the few things Logan allowed himself to be elaborate in, that included the entire town square. They were to block off all other entrances into the square except for the one leading to the factory. Virgil and Thomas would lead the Phantom into the square where they jump on a trampoline in front of the town hall and jump up onto the balcony and when the Phantom tried to jump on it, Logan would click a button to release the mechanism which would cause the trampoline to be pulled along a track and drive him right into a giant ball out in front of an apartment building where Patton and Roman would drop a large net over from the top of the building. The plan was flawless.
-------
Virgil and Thomas walked through the old factory apprehensively. "I don't know about you, Thomas, but this place is really too scary." Thomas nodded his head in agreement as they walked. "Like, I think there's no one here, so let's go." Just as Virgil and Thomas turned to go, a loud wailing sounded throughout the factory, bouncing off old machinery and creating a terrifying echo.
"Get out!!!!!" Virgil and Thomas froze. The wailing got louder until the Phantom stood right in front of them. "GET OUT!!!" It screeched.
"Don't worry, we are!" Virgil shouted and he turned tail and ran with Thomas running along beside him. The Phantom chased after them with a terrible that grated at their ears. They raced through town but ended up getting turned around. Eventually they scaled up a fire escape and ended up on the roof of Town Hall. They skidded to a stop as they got to the edge. They gulped as they looked down at the trampoline below them, a jump from this height would still be risky. But soon the Phantom was behind them. And before anyone could blink, Thomas and Virgil jumped.
--------
Roman groaned as he waited. "Where are they?" He asked Patton. The other shrugged. Just then, as he glanced around the square, he noticed Thomas and Virgil on the opposite roof with the Phantom close behind. Roman's eyes widened in fear. Before he could say anything, the two jumped off. "Virgil!!" Roman screamed.
It all happened in a blur. The Phantom jumped off too and bounced right back into the air after landing on the trampoline. They flew in an arch and landed into the ball pit. Roman and Patton dropped the blanket in shock and raced off the building quickly as they could. Meanwhile, Logan raced over to the ball pit with the police. The Phantom was indeed trapped. "Just hold on," Logan told them before meeting up with Roman and Patton. "What exactly happened?"
Tears streamed down Roman's face as he answered. "They jumped off the roof!"
"What?!?!!?" Logan exclaimed. "Where are they????" Roman went to answer only for a shout to draw their attention.
The gang turned to find Thomas and Virgil stumbling out of the doors of town hall. The world around Roman stopped. The noises and flashing lights of the police cars fading into the background. Images flashed through Roman's mind. They have been best friends since birth. This was the boy who dyed his hair neon green on a date, the boy who ran to his house to show him his new dog, the boy who continuously jumped into terrifying situations willingly for his friends despite his fear. And suddenly the realization that he was so irreversibly and incredibly in love with.
Roman marched as fast as he could to Virgil without running. His hands cupped Virgil's face as soon as he reached him. He slowly leaned in and kissed the other softly. Virgil returned the kiss without hesitation. It was so much better than either could have imagined.
Tumblr media
Thomas howled approvingly as Patton and Logan clapped. Eventually the two pulled away. "How did you-"
"I found some rope and tied it around my waist and a hook on the roof before I jumped and we swung down into the open window."
"I was so worried."
"I'm okay. I'm okay."
"I think we should just hurry up and wrap this mystery up and get out of here," Patton said.
"Agreed," Roman and Virgil said in sync. The gang moved over to where the police handcuffed the Phantom. Roman clung to Virgil, which made it a little difficult for them to move, but they managed.
Logan walked over and grabbed the mask. "This is none other than Carl Livingking!" He exclaimed.
"What?" The sheriff asked.
"Carl had learned about the legend of the Sanderson Gang's loot and decided to look for it. So he offered to buy up the town. But when he was refused he decided to try and scare everyone out so he could begin looking for the treasure."
Carl huffed. "Yeah, and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dog."
----------
Roman sighed as he laid in the back with Virgil, clinging to him like a kola. "I'm sorry again, Thomas." Thomas turned his head back to face them from his spot in the front seat as if to say it was okay. Roman smiled and nudged his face into Virgil's chest. Virgil pulled him closer and they slowly fell asleep. Content being in each other's arms.

More Than Enough
Part 9 of So Happy Together
part 8
Note: theres a song that kind of inspired the name and closing lines. it always reminds me of friendship and how important it is. its called all that we get by first aid kit. give it a listen if you wanna get the vibe this chapters giving off!
Tumblr media
The next morning was much the same. You woke up. Got ready, and headed for your first class. On your way to the first period of the day, you ran into Hux and Phasma. Phasma gave you a big smile and waved you over. You jogged across the lawn holding your skirt down so nobody got an unnecessary show. Once you reached them they both said hello and asked you to walk with them.
“Y/N i was wondering if we could sit together first period. Last night reminded me of how much I love being around you!”
“Ummm, of course, I forgot how much we clicked too, i feel like I haven't been a very good friend.”
“I can assure you i've been just as bad. I never reached out to you much either.” she said gently, placing her hand on your shoulder as you all started walking.
“I can testify that Phas, is indeed, a bad friend.” Hux teased. It was weird seeing him so relaxed, you figured it was a perk of being his friend. Ever since that morning at the diner you always saw a less serious version of him. Once you had reached the building where your first classes were held, Hux announced that he would have to be on his way to reach his class. You all said goodbye as you continued walking with Phasma. Once you stepped through the building doors you saw Ben leaning against a wall. Someone was with him, but not just anyone. It was Rey, you should've known she would have dug her claws in quick. He turned over to you when his smile dropped. You gave him a small wave when he said something to Rey then walked away. She looked over at you and began charging towards you.
Phasma had noticed the change of your facial expression. You could tell she was about to ask you something when you felt something ram into you. You fell back and dropped your bag, all its contents spilling out. You looked up and saw Rey looking down at you.
“I see you're still a clumsy little shit, guess some things never change, huh?” you watched as smiled, turned and walked away.
Phasma bent down to help you gather your things, “she's still a bitch to you after all these years? Some things never change I guess.”
You could tell she was making fun of what she had said, but you were too hurt by Ben to focus on your cousin. Once everything was in your bag phasma stood, and held out her hand to help you up. You took it and stood up. While you fixed your skirt the bell had gone off. Great now you were late on top of everything. You both ran to your class and the professor had been waiting outside.
“Ladies, might I ask why you're late.” Miss Sloane was intense, she almost scared you. Before you had a chance to answer phasma spoke up.
“I'm sorry professor Sloane. The hall was crowded and we bumped into someone and our things fell. It won't happen again. I promise.” who would've thought that she was charismatic. You saw Sloane turn towards you.
“This is your first tardy in the 3 years youve been in my class. I won't count it this time.” she stepped out of the doorway allowing you both to enter. You rushed to the back table where there were two empty spots and sat. you went the whole class not speaking, trying to avoid further trouble. Near the end of class everyone had finished up early, and Sloane had decided to give everyone free time. That's when phasma asked the dreaded question.
“So. What happened out there? That guy looked at you and your whole mood changed.”
You leaned closer to her so nobody could hear your conversation. “That was Ben solo.”
“I don't see how that's relevant to you looking like your soul had been crushed.”
You took the time to give her a brief summary of the situation. She gave you a sad look when you told her about the kiss, and how he was your first kiss.
“Oh honey. That sounds so beautiful, why do you think he's acting like this all of a sudden?”
“I don't know, but it hurts. He seemed like he really liked me. What sucks is I have to see his brother a lot, and he knows about it. What do i do if he asks about me and him again?”
Her face twisted and she looked thoughtful for a second. “Is his brother Matt?”
“Yes.” you replied.
“Now that i think about it. I see it. Anyways, if he asks, tell him the truth, maybe he can tell you what is going on.”
The bell rang dismissing you to your next class. You slowly got up, not wanting to go back out. In fact you wanted nothing more than to go back to your dorm. Hell, part of you wanted to run to your grandfathers. Your perfect attendance kept you from it though. As you walked out she invited you to sit with her and Hux at lunch. You told her about the project with Matt and she informed you that he sat with them anyways. You never noticed who hung out with who until now. You reluctantly agreed, and you two went your separate ways. You went to your next class, which was one you hated. You had somehow gotten into calculus. You have no clue how you sucked at math, but the worst part was you had it with Rey.
You walked in and noticed you had gotten there before her. You took a spot in the back, hoping to be ignored by her. Soon everyone had arrived, but her. You had a moment of relief, before the door opened. She walked in and after her came Ben. Perfect. Professor Windu asked about the man behind her and she had informed him that he had been moved into the class. The professor welcomed him and asked him to introduce himself. When he stood at the front of the room he looked around. You tried putting your head down, but you knew he had seen you.
“Uhh, im Ben. Ben Solo. This is actually my last year in school, so it's kinda pointless for my parents to move me here, but here I am,” you looked up and you had looked him right in the eyes. “Guess it could be worse though.” you remembered those words. He said those exact words to you. It could be worse. It felt almost dirty hearing him say it again in front of a crowd.
He kept his eyes locked on yours as he took his seat next to Rey. you hated this. You hated it with everything in you. This was going to be excruciating. Not only did you have to be in a room with someone who made you absolutely miserable, but you had to watch as she threw herself all over the guy you liked. You tried your best to stay focused, but it was hard.
Once more you heard the bell and you waited until Ben and Rey had walked out before moving towards the door. A couple more periods went by and eventually it was your lunch period. You made your way towards the cafeteria waiting for someone from your group to arrive so they could show you where they sit. After a while you decide to text Matt and ask about where they sit. Once you were told you made your way over. On your way there you came face to face with Rey, and what a surprise, Ben. she made a face at you before bumping into you again. You looked at Ben with sadness in your eyes. All he did was shake his head and follow after Rey. You watched as they sat with her friends. Poe, Finn, and Rose. you had known them well. You all were friends at one point, but in this school it was all about money. The more money you had the cooler you were. To put it in polite your parents were filthy rich. They could sell their business’ and there would be enough money to last until your kids were in their teens. There were a few things about it though. You didn't like that social system, and you didn't like flaunting your wealth. Rey on the other hand. Her mother, your father's sister, had married super rich. A Palpatine. They were old money, not new money like your family. Rey loved letting people know she was richer than them. It was like a personality trait to her.
You walked over to where Matt, Phasma, and Hux were sitting. You tried your best to forget about the whole day and focus on your project, and friends. You couldn't help but look over at Ben every now and then. He looked sad. Meanwhile everyone around him was talking, almost ignoring him. You decided to try and reach out. Just to gauge if there was still something there. You sent a text to him asking if he was alright. You hit sent and watched carefully. You watched as he took his phone out and read the message. He looked up at you with his phone still in his hands. Looking you dead in the eyes he put his phone back in his pocket, and jumped into the conversation that everyone at his table was having. Okay. that hurt. That hurt more than anything, more than seeing him with rey in the hall. More than him being rude that first day. This was a new hurt. This. This was a heartbreak. You felt the tears welling up before you were pulled out of your thoughts when Hux had put his hand on your shoulder.
“You alright?” you looked up to see your friends watching you as tears fell down your face. Phasma looked at where you had been looking. She looked right at Ben with a look of anger on her face.
You quickly gathered your things. “I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well, i've gotta go.”
Your run out, having to pass by Ben's table made you cry harder, but you didn't care who saw. You ran straight for your dorm tears streaming down your face as you went. As soon as you got there you ran in throwing yourself on your bed. your body wracked with an onslaught of sobs. You cried hard, and you cried loud. If you could guess it wasn't just because of Ben, it was the pain of being ignored by someone else. You're always ignored by the people you want most, and you were growing weary of it. You had only ever wanted your parents attention. Ben was the only other person where you desperately wanted his attention. He had given it to you so easily, and just as quickly he had taken it back. You eventually cried yourself to sleep.
You woke up to the sound of knocking at your door. You weren't sure how much time had passed, but you got up and opened the door. Matt stood there looking down at you. You never noticed how tall he was until now. He walked past you into your room, and sat on the bed. You looked at the clock in the hall. Your last period was supposed to be starting now, why was he here?
“You left lunch pretty quick. You were so upset I was positive you weren't coming to class so I thought I'd come check up on you.” he said with a soft voice.
“Why? You're gonna get in trouble for skipping.”
“I know we don't know each other too well, but I like you, you’re so cool, and I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
You stayed silent. Trying to find an excuse so you wouldn't have to tell him about his brother.
“Phas told me about Ben. he's an ass trust me Y/N nobody knows that better than me.” you walked over to sit next to him. As soon as you sat down you started sobbing again. He put his arm around you and let you cry. It was a while before he had said anything.
“Look, i can see how it would be weird to talk about it with me. I'm willing to listen though, if you want to sit in silence and cry, I'll let you do that too, but just know me, Phas, and Hux are all here for you.“ you hugged him and he awkwardly hugged you back.
“Do you think it was something I did?” you asked him.
“No. for sure no. If anything something probably happened, and he got scared. For as tough as he acts he runs at the first sight of emotions.” you laughed.
You sat up wiping the tears off your face. “I don't know why, I just feel so heartbroken over this. I've never felt this way about anyone.”
“Trust me I get the feeling. You never knew this, but I've had a crush on Elaine since like 3rd grade. I told her about it and she rejected me. She wanted to focus on school. I understood, but it hurt like hell still. She agreed to not bring it up to anyone because of how embarrassed i was.”
“How'd you deal with it?”
“I didn't have a lot of friends, but the few I did I kinda just hung out with them. It distracted me. I had them so everything was okay.”
You nodded and took in his advice. You had him. You had Phasma, and Hux. most importantly you had Elaine. You haven't been friends with them long, but a part of you knew that Hux, Phasma, and Matt loved you. You knew without a doubt that Elaine loved and adored you. You knew they would be there. You knew they'd help. Most importantly you knew it would be alright and that one day the pain that Ben Solo had caused you would all be a distant memory. All because you had them. What if this was all that you get? Now that you think about it. That was enough. That was more than enough.

Seth Anthony - Episode Transcription
Podcast Music: [00:00:00]You have a collect call from Taylor, an inmate at the Washington Correctional Center. To accept the call press 5.
Taylor Conley: [00:00:32] There's nothing like waking up to the sound of clacking and buzzing as the door's crack open in the morning after count clears, waking up to the reality of life in prison. For some, it's just a stop along their journey, a mile post, an experience. For others, it is a revolving door, in and out, in and out. And that's their way of life, stuck in the cycle, pulling and eating away at them. And then for some it becomes their destination as the hammer came down and that judge issued him a death sentence, the slow way, by way of life in prison... This is the Life of a Lifer, by Taylor Conley.
Hello friends and family. Welcome and thank you for joining us today. Today we got an exciting program. I'm really, I'm really stoked about this today, I'm going to be interviewing singer and rapper Seth Anthony, a man who has been able to overcome the odds and take it adversity and whip it's ass, man.
So it's a continuous struggle and an uphill battle, this man won't stop. He's not going to stop. He's gonna get it, and he's getting there. He's grinding and he's making it happen. He's an example. He's an example of what change really is about, and change is a state of mind, and I wrote about this in my book called the convicted entrepreneur.
He's taking the discipline he gained through years and years of doing time and transformed that into a career. He's taken this huge negative and made it into an even bigger positive. What I like most about this dude is how humble he is and yet he's got such a confident style, and swag and he's unwilling to sell out.
He keeps it one hundred thousand, keeps it all the way real I can't do anything but respect this man, and that's why I support everything he's doing. You'll see Seth on the cover of the next issue of Inside Designed Conviction, the Magazine, which is coming out in late January. Really excited about that too, and you'll get more of the full story of his journey along the way.
You know, also coming out later on in January, towards the end of January is the Free Taylor Project album. And that's an album that I did together with my, my good friend and, and my brother Caleb Twidwell, we wrote these songs inside a prison over five years ago while we were serving time together, and he's since gotten out and been able to really take his music and take what he's done and though he's had a lot of struggles along the way, he's such a talented guy and I really am appreciative and happy to be able to, though we butted heads along the way and things haven't been easy and perfect. And you know, there's, there's plenty of different, different triumph or struggles that we've had to triumph over and been able to overcome these things and put together this, this album that we created with, you know, with guitar and just being able to sit down and really write, coming from a perspective of somebody doing life in prison, and there's also some, some nice feel good songs on there. Anyways, and I also added an additional song that I wrote called walk the line, uh, which Caleb is doing some rapping on that as well. We made this journey happen. We've released the two singles already Walk the Line and So Cold, which you can find out right now, and those will also be on the Free Taylor Project. Uh, we put this album out on our independent label, or we put these songs out on our independent label, Designed Conviction Entertainment, which this album is going to be the first album that we drop off of there and we'll see what happens with that.
Man, we just, we really want to do something that is coming from inside, and get it out there so people can really see that there's a lot of talents locked away inside these walls and fences. But I want, on a different note, I want to take a moment and talk about something that, that has me sad right now. I've got a little bit of bad news and, and that is, it's a program that I've been doing for, you know, about the last year and a half or something like that. And it got put on hold. The Toastmasters program. I've talked about it before, but Toastmasters is something that has really helped me to learn how to communicate and articulate myself better. It's such a positive outlet and given me the tools to be able to communicate with words instead of other ways of communication such as, you know, lashing out in anger or, getting upset about everything. To be able to just sit back and be able to communicate and learn these positive leadership skills, which I had, but this has been able to cultivate those things.
So it is unfortunate, and I'm, I'm truly saddened that our sponsors have had to step back. You know, they, they have health issues and, and personal reasons, so they're not able to come anymore. So I'm really bummed out about that. And until we can find new sponsors to come in and, and help us to be able to make sure that this program continues to grow, uh, we're not going to be able to do it. I love the environment that Toastmasters creates. That's what's the coolest thing about it. It's a space where you're able to really kind of just get away from everything else that goes on in prison and, and have the, the curriculum that you follow throughout, and it just really cultivates and helps you to develop these skills that help us to grow as people and express ourselves in a constructive way.
Like I said, man, being able to communicate is such an important thing in life, especially in this environment, and I cherish that and I hope that we're able to find some new sponsors soon. I mean, if you're listening, and you're interested in this, and you, and you're around the Olympia, Aberdeen area in Washington state, and you have anything to do with Toastmasters or you're were even interested by it, and you want to get involved in it, you know, feel free to reach out to us and we can try to put you in touch with the right people to make that happen because man, this is something that really does change lives. Uh, I've seen hardened thugs come into Toastmasters and within a couple of months begin to change their perspective. It's all about the perspective on the way you look at things. And it's such a cool thing to see that, you know, there's even a club out there on the streets that it's called the Inside Out Toastmasters, which consists of men and women who were formerly incarcerated, as well as advocates who advocate for the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated to help with reintegrating back into society.
And this program is continuing to help them on their journey as they get out of prison. So it's a great support system and having the clubs available in prison and then being able to transition out there for other people to get involved with it. And the Toastmasters organization is huge. So, I mean, it's the best program I've ever been a part of in here and had the opportunity to experience.
I'm actually the president of one of our clubs here where I'm at right now. Uh, a gavel club, which we are working on getting chartered. And what it means to be in a charter club is to be recognized by Toastmasters international. And so like, you know, you have to pay dues and, and people actually come in and help us to make that like a legitimate thing. Those are like legitimate credentials that people can get and they can take those and transfer those into real like things you can put on your resume and stuff like that. And not, not to mention, just being able to have a more positive environment within the prison system.
It really helps with that, it really helps with being able to communicate your issues better. Being able to actually work on rehabilitation and not just punishment. So I really believe in the Toastmasters program, and you know, maybe you don't live in this area, you've never even heard of it, but you want to know more about it.
I would encourage you to go to the ninth wave toastmaster.com website and you can, you can learn more about it. That's the number nine T H wave Toastmasters dot com and you can see different ways in which you could contribute and be a part of it. And you know, basically contribute to the rehabilitation of people within prison to where the hope is when they get out and they transition out, they will have better set of skills to work with and be, you know, a more productive member of society.
That's the hope. So without further ado though, I would, I would like to get into this interview and let's see if we can get Seth on the line here. One more thing though, I want to give Seth a big congratulations as he's just announced that his girl is about to have a baby. I think that that's so cool and I'm sure that he's going to be a great father. I'm really happy for you, man. But right now let's get into this interview. I think we got them here, so thank you very much. Look forward to what's to come.
Taylor Conley: [00:10:59] Hey Seth, how you doing today, brother?
Seth Anthony: [00:11:00] I'm doing good brother. How are you doing?
Taylor Conley: [00:11:03] Ahh, I'm doing good, man. Glad to hear you again
Seth Anthony: [00:11:07] Yeah, man.
Taylor Conley: [00:11:08] Thanks for coming on the show, bro.
Seth Anthony: [00:11:10] Yeah, of course, brother, of course, man. I respect what you're doing, man. So 100%.
Taylor Conley: [00:11:15] man.means a lot to me. It really does. I know you're a busy man, so I'm glad that we got you here. As a matter of fact, you know, earlier today, I was in there checking on Jpay man, where I get the music at, and I was searching through the top albums list and man, I seen your, I see your song on there, Rebel Road, bro. I couldn't believe it. I know it's like climbing on the charts, but uh, shit.
Seth Anthony: [00:11:42] Yeah, man, it's uh, it's, it's, you know, it feels really good man, because you know I, I, I put my heart into all my music man. And just, uh, that combi-, that gratification, man. It's just, it just, it feels like, I wrote that song about being in prison, you know what I mean? So I would..
Taylor Conley: [00:12:00] That's what grabbed me about it.
Seth Anthony: [00:12:02] Yeah, man. So it's like for people to just be so responsive with it, it means a lot, man. Cause that's just, I would just, I'm just real with my music, you know, I just, I sing or I rap or whatever, whatever I do, man, I do it from my heart. I do 100% of my heart, man. You know what? I've been through my life, man, and just for people, just for it to get that much attention, man, it just, it makes me feel good. You know? It's like all the hard work I'm putting into this, you know it's paying off, you know?
Taylor Conley: [00:12:33] That's great man. You know, I can tell too, when I listened to it, it's like, I mean, I don't want to talk bad about other people, but I hear a lot of these country rap songs and they're trash, man, they like, they don't sound, there's not good production on them. You know, it just sounds like, like some dude talking over a beat.
Seth Anthony: [00:12:56] You can only uh, you can only rap so much about Yetis and big trucks and mud holes, man. You know what I mean? So I try to open my mind up, man, and just literally, when I started doing this music, I said, you know what? What would I, what would I listen to?
And I said, I would like to listen to somebody that's being real, that's been a prison. Sold drugs, hooked on drugs, just went through the ringer, man. And then, you know what I mean? And talks about it, not ashamed of it, not trying to hide it. Nothing, man. So that's what I was doing, man. And since I've been doing that, um, literally, I've been doing music for 22 months now, professionally, and I got millions of views. Um. Um, you know, I'm just, I'm, I'm all over. I'm about to go on tour. It's just, it changed my life, man. And it feels good because, you know, that's why I would never sign to a record label because I wanna, I want to sing and rap or make the kind of music that makes me happy, man. I don't want to sit there and make any kind of music for album sales or this or that.
You know what I mean? So to do what you want to do and have that passion just really feels good, really feels good.
Taylor Conley: [00:14:07] That's definitely an amazing thing to be able to have the freedom to just, however you see it, however you feel it, you put it down and it comes through, man. Cause that shit touched me right, right in the soul, man. I could feel it. And those are songs too that you can listen to time and time again and they don't get old. And that's the great thing about it.
Seth Anthony: [00:14:30] Yeah. I still listen to them all the time, man.
Taylor Conley: [00:14:35] How does it feel to listen to your music?
Seth Anthony: [00:14:38] Uh, you know, there's only one thing wrong with it man, uh, the only thing that bothers me is, uh, I'm still obsessive with my music man, and literally obsessed with it. My girl will, I'll be in the living room and my girl was like, Babe it's midnight, you gotta go to the studio tomorrow and I'm like, I'm just going to finish this part for this song. She'll go, wake up, it's four o'clock in the morning. I'm still sitting out there writing and then refining things. So when I hear my music, I love it, but I'm always like, damn, I should've did that right there. oh damn
Taylor Conley: [00:15:07] Ahhh, man
Seth Anthony: [00:15:09] you know what I mean? So I pick it apart...
Taylor Conley: [00:15:10] Oh I know what you mean
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, man. Whenever I write music, I do the same thing, bro. I'd be, you know, once it's done and it's down and you're like, damn, I should've done this. I should've said it like that or something. You know what I mean? But that shows, cause that's what makes great music, man.
That really getting passionate about it and getting into it. You know what's funny is it not only was it on the Jay pay, but then I was telling Cecilia's assistant Sara about that, you know, she's kind of looking after some of our social media stuff. She's involved with that. And, and I was telling her, Hey uh, Seth's, Seth's Rebel Road song is on, on the top songs on JPay, she was like, wow cause I was just looking at Facebook and he's trending on there with the video for that. I was like, damn, he's blowing up right now.
Seth Anthony: [00:16:05] Yeah, man. Um, yeah, it's, it's doing really good man. Um, and I just released a new video on Rough Neck Remedy um, off my new album, I'm dropping 2020 Vision and, um, I mean, yes, it's, it, things are just coming together, man. It's just, kinda just like that old saying, real recognize real man. Like there's not one person on the streets or in prison that could say that I'm not real. You know what I mean? So it's just like, I just, I keep you a real man, you know what I mean?
I didn't live the best life. I didn't live the worst life. I was just real throughout my whole life, and went through a lot of fucking shit. You know what I mean? So I just put that into the music and people just relate to it then because you know everybody, this is my problem with the music industry, man, and this is my real problem, is people that start getting a little clout and they do music, they want to act like they're just like on this high pedestal, and I'm this, this person, or I'm this, nah man, just, you know what? Fuck that you're, you're a human being. You still go through shit. People want to relate to you, man. So be real. You know what I'm saying? Like I just can't stand that because that's how I'm a normal guy, man. I'm a normal dude, man, that just love to make fucking music and knows how to rap my ass off. And I learned it cause I did fucking years and years and years in prison, you know what I mean? You ain't got nothing else to do but write letters or writing music or workout or, you know what I mean? So now I'm just a different level than a lot of these dudes.
Taylor Conley: [00:17:32] Yeah, yeah, man. That don't get no realer than that right there, bro. And you said it best when you say that, you know, you're, you're just a person just like any other person. You're not better than nobody else for doing it. And it just shows that I reached out to you, man. And you responded, cause real recognize real man. You know? And I, I just want to tell you that. That's cool, bro. You're like a real down to earth dude.
Seth Anthony: [00:17:58] And I mean I gotta be, man, I gave up for these interviews left and right man. And the only reason I did this is because there are a lot of people are just trying to get clout or this guy's going up, are you doing all this? And he's willing to do an interview. I won't do a lot of them. The only interviews that you'll see on my, on my go on YouTube and pulled me up is about prison because I want to inform people, man. You know what I'm saying? Excuse me. And they really see who the fuck I am, man. You know what I mean? So when I reached out to you and I clicked on your podcast, I was like, all right, I see, your name you caught me. I'm looking at 'em. I'm like, okay, he's trying to do something. And then I seen, Oh shit, he's locked up. And when you talk to me about the podcast and you say, man, your music hits you. I said, man, I'd be a fake motherfucker, man, if I didn't fuck with this dude, because you know what? I was there so, I'm out here now. Hey. You know what I'm saying? Like that's just not, I'm just a real person and I ,I fully back everything you're doing, man.
You know what I mean? And I tip my hat to your brother because it's hard to get caught up and twisted up in some bullshit when you're behind the bars, man. I was there for a long time, So it's just, you know, I tip my hat to ya, I respect what you're doing, man.
Taylor Conley: [00:19:15] Man, I appreciate it, man. This, uh, this shit ain't easy bro, but you know what? This is the stuff right here, what we're doing, this is what keeps me going, man, cause I'm serving a life without sentence, you know? And uh, man, you got to have something to live for. You know what I mean? I'm still struggling and fighting for my life with my appeals and shit like that, you know, I didn't, I didn't get done fairly, man. But at the same time, I'm not complaining about it. I'm doing something about it and I'm doing something with my life despite the odds, despite the situation I'm in, I'm not going to make that something that I, you know, just dwell on it and sit here fucking depressed and everything, man. But you know, it, it's cool that you recognize that shit, man. And uh, anyway, bro. I really do appreciate that, man. And so anyways, uh, as, as I was talking to you as I found out a little bit more about what you got going on, I hear that you're going down to Nashville to shoot a video with Struggle Jennings.
Seth Anthony: [00:20:17] Yeah yeah man, um I got the new album coming out 2020 vision. Um, so me and Struggle Jennings, uh, you know what I mean? He's, he's well known. He did all the, uh, Waylon and Willies with Jelly Roll. Um, I, I do, my producer is good friends with him and producer. So I was like, Hey man, let's make the play, man. I'm trying to climb the ladder. Let's do it. So we did the song together. I went to a show and got on his tour bus and I'm like, yo bro, what's up? I was like, we need to do this video. He's like, all right, you got to come to Nashville though. So I booked the ticket for me and the the video guy, we're bringing all the gear and we're going to go knock this video out, man for the album and uh yeah, I'm gonna make a vlog and everything. Like I was telling the assistant or whoever it was I was talking to. Um, you guys are going to be sending me some gear, man. You guys send me that gear, man, and the vlog I'll make and and everything, I'll wear it and represent shout out to you man, Free Taylor. You know what I mean? So I'm all for it, you know, and looking out, man.
Taylor Conley: [00:21:16] Yeah, man, uh, that's ,that's cool, man. Yeah, we shot it to you, man. So I hope you get it before you leave and, uh, you're gonna represent it. It's the Free Taylor Project, man. It's actually an album that we made with, uh, you know, a dude, a good friend of mine, man. He's like my brother that he was in prison with me. We did, we did time together, and he's an amazing musician himself. He's, he's a really talented singer. So, you know, we did the Free Taylor Project and, uh, it's, it's got some really really hard hitting song. It's like a variety of songs, man, you're getting some rock, some country, and uh even a little bit of rap on there, bro. And you know what I mean? That's something that I really, I really get passionate about myself, man, is writing music.
Seth Anthony: [00:22:03] Is that song that you sent me, is that on that, that that album you're talking about?
Taylor Conley: [00:22:10] It's going to be on there. Yeah. The So Cold song and the Walk the Line song are the ones, we released those two singles that we're going to put on the album. And uh, yeah, man, it's, it's going to come out in January actually as well. Probably the end of January. We're gonna put it out and uh, you know what I mean? It's just supporting that supporting positive shit that we're doing and getting the message out there. You know what I mean? It's like, Hey, check it out. Check what this dude's doing and come support it, and it's good music, bro. Like this music came out, came out of the inside. You know what I mean? We recorded a demo inside when we still had a, uh, we still had a music room that has some recording equipment, you know, some old stuff you recorded on tape deck and it was just a guitar and a, and some singing man. And we ended up being able to take that project and bring it out to the streets when my friend, Caleb Twidwell, when he got out, we got in contact years later and ended up making it come to life, man. And now we're now, we're going to really make it happen so. I'm hoping that
Seth Anthony: [00:23:18] Hey your boy Caleb though, I checked out the, I'm really feeling the So Cold. Um, song. He's got a good voice, man. When I was listening to, I was like, man, if you could just throw like a rap verse into that, So Cold song, it would be, it eb be really dope man. Cause he's just, he's killing it on that song,
Taylor Conley: [00:23:35] Dude, that would be, that would be a good idea, man. Maybe we can talk about the remix sometime.
Seth Anthony: [00:23:41] Yeah, yeah man.
Taylor Conley: [00:23:43] That would be cool. But well, what we did talk about was, uh, we talked about doing this Renegade song. So I threw it out there man that I wrote this song that I think would be right in their wheelhouse and, uh, sent you over the song. You know, it reminded me of something that would fit perfectly with, with you, man. Like, it resonated with you being able to do the song, man. And I reached out to you and you said that you were interested in bro. So. What, tell me about when you think about the song, man?
Seth Anthony: [00:24:14] I really feel, uh, like I said, when I, um, when I read people's, when some people send me music, I read the lyrics and I, and when I read the lyrics, like I instantly knew they were real because I've been in the same places that you're at. You know what I'm saying? So I was, I felt it 100% man. And I really, uh, I, I'm really down to, to, you know, I'm really busy and I'll finish this out. I got a project coming, I'm about to go on tour, but I'll definitely squeeze in sometime, man and find some time, man. And we'll knock the track out man and representing that.
Taylor Conley: [00:24:50] That's what's up man, cause you know, I couldn't do this song with anybody that hadn't done time and you know what I mean?
Seth Anthony: [00:24:56] Of course not, of course not.
Taylor Conley: [00:24:57] ... And then so we're going to get Caleb, we're going to get Caleb to do, he's going to sing the, he's going to sing the hook and you're going, you're going to rap on it.
Seth Anthony: [00:25:09] Yeah, I'm down brother, definitely down.
Taylor Conley: [00:25:11] Al- Alright broAlright, man. That's, that's going to be a hit, man. I, I know that with, with what you got to put into it and, and that producer that's gonna be producing it. It's going to be a hit man. And the beats, the beats that give me too man, and what with what we get put on it, that's, that's going to be a hit song right bro.
Seth Anthony: [00:25:33] Definitely man, I'm definitely down, brother. It's a good song.
Taylor Conley: [00:25:37] So, so the one other thing I wanted to ask you about, man, cause I think from what I understand, you're an independent artist, right?
Seth Anthony: [00:25:47] Hundred percent bro, hundred percent
Taylor Conley: [00:25:50] So are you trying to get a deal or are you trying to stay independent?
Seth Anthony: [00:25:55] No, I'll never, I'll never sign the deal, man. I already had a couple people, a couple, record labels already come to me, and a middle man tried to come to me and everything. And you know, uh, the last deal was good. You know what I mean? I'm not saying that's not, it's a, it's a good deal, but this is why I will never sign a deal, because right now, if I want to talk about prison or if I wanna talk about my woman, or if I wanna talk about my mom and dad dying whenever I want, however I want to sing it, rap it however I want to do it. I can do it because there's no one telling me, Oh, you get album sales as this, and this is what it's uhh generating right now.... and analytics show... Fuck that, man. I, you know what I'm saying? I just watched a video right before I got on this uh podcast with you, and a dude said, you know that the minute you start making music for album sales, it's fake. You know what I mean? You, you make the music man, because it's from your heart. And that's what people relate to it. So, and I already know the game with them record labels, man. All everybody should be trying to, man, you just gotta go get it. You gotta gotta get it, man. It ain't, it's not handed to you. It's not handed to you. You gotta grind, man. You've got to grind you gotta network, you gotta put the content on, you gotta put real lyrics, and you have talent and build a team behind you, man. That's what it's all about, man. You know what I mean? I was in prison so long, and that's why I'm ahead of the game behind these dudes, because I have street knowledge and music knowledge combined, man. So it's like, you know, I'm just, I'm killing it, man, because I have the drive, way harder. I, I've been in situations that I've never been in where my mind thinks a lot different than those dude, man. You know what I mean? So I'll never sign a deal, man, ever.
Taylor Conley: [00:27:43] Okay. Okay, well, say it then, man. Said that with some passion, bro. I uhh
Seth Anthony: [00:27:49] Yeah. I'm passionate about this music
Taylor Conley: [00:27:51] I hear you. I'm a, I'm a strong believer in that, man. You know, I, I really like it. I like where you're coming from. I like, I like the way you think and uh, there's definitely something about having..
Seth Anthony: [00:28:04] Look at it like this
Taylor Conley: [00:28:05] Yeah
Seth Anthony: [00:28:05] This is how I look at it, this is how I look at it, man. If I'm working at construction, I still work. I still work every day. That's how much I want it and get it. I wake up at four o'clock in the morning every morning, go to work, do commercial concrete, bust my ass climbing walls doing this crazy ass work. Come home, write music and record my songs and do videos on the weekends. Now let me tell you something. I'll never change that, that fire I have in me, I'll never, I'll never change that man. So a record label ... What is that going to do? You're going to give me some money and then you're going to own me. You see what I'm saying, man. But they did the fire in me, man. It would be taken away because it's like someone dictating your future. When I walked out of those prison gates, I made a promise to myself that no man will ever disrespect me or tell me what to do ever again. I'm free. You know what I mean? So. That's why it's just, I can't do that. You know what I mean? That's just something with me. I can't do, you know what I mean? So I'm just really passionate about it because I'm passionate about it, man. You know what I mean? It's just, if I was to be up, man, my producer's like Seth, calm down. I'm like, dude, you don't understand man. I'm honest music, man. You know what I mean? Like you don't get it. You know what I mean? Like this is not just like, people just don't get that I'm ahead of the game because of the shit I went through. You know what I mean?
Taylor Conley: [00:29:23] Absolutely. Man. Absolutely. And that's the drive that other people that have been in your situation could look to in and hear this. If there's anybody listening that you know is an aspiring, uh, artist of any type or know, I heard this story of yours, you know, and they can be inspired by it themselves to, to understand, you know, that you can take. What you've been through and turn that into art
Seth Anthony: [00:29:50] you always can,
Taylor Conley: [00:29:51] whether it's music..
Seth Anthony: [00:29:51] You always can, man
Taylor Conley: [00:29:53] whatever kind of art it is man...
Seth Anthony: [00:29:55] Because you know what, man, let me tell you. No, you're going to wh... I'm going to tell you something right now. Whoever's listening, well, anyone that's been incarcerated already will resonate with this man, and I'm gonna tell you what, just say you're in the, in the world. I'm in the world right now. People wake up on the wrong side of the bed. You see what I'm saying? People want, it's just human nature. You wake up in a bad mood and on the wrong side of the bed, but guess what, man? When you wake up in the bad mood on the wrong side in prison, it's not a fucking good day, man. You know what I'm saying? You got motherfuckers telling you when to eat when they sleep, count this blah, blah lock down on this. Um, the phone cut off or you can't get it. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just, there's so much more shit. That weighs up on you when you're having a fucking bad day, that if you can get through that, you can get through anything, man. So that's why I said I'm ahead of the game man, and you know what I'm saying like that people just don't understand what it's like, man, to sit there and worry about your loved ones and nobody gives a fuck about you or this motherfucker, showing you all this pressure on the compound, man, I got to walk. You know what I'm saying? So if you, unless you live that, you know what I'm saying? People will never understand, and that's where the fire comes from, man. You know what I mean? Because it's like. I've been there, man. So it's like nothing can stop what I'm doing. You know what I mean? It's like this is what I'm fucking doing, and people are going to have to relate to it because it's real, they have no choice too. You know what I mean?
Taylor Conley: [00:31:21] Whoo, that's some heat right there, man. That's some heat, straight up.
Seth Anthony: [00:31:27] Yeah brother
Taylor Conley: [00:31:27] I might have to put that on the, on the backside of the album, bro.
Seth Anthony: [00:31:34] Yeah. Put it on there, brother
Taylor Conley: [00:31:37] Yeah, man.
Seth Anthony: [00:31:37] Put that on there man
Taylor Conley: [00:31:40] Cause that, I mean people need to hear that message right there, man. You know, it don't get no realer than that, bro.
Taylor Conley: [00:31:51] So I know that you're busy, bro. I know you got places to go and things to do, man, you're grinding, man. But I just got one last question for you if I could.
Seth Anthony: [00:32:00] Yeah what's up brother?
Taylor Conley: [00:32:02] So, man, you know, I'm serving a life without the possibility of parole sentence in here. And, uh, you know, I just, I would appreciate getting your take on what you think about life sentences?
Seth Anthony: [00:32:15] Well, a person that was incarcerated for many, many, many, many years and been locked up since I was 14 years old and on and off then. My personal opinion and I really don't answer questions like this, like just like I don't answer questions about politics cause it's just a huge debate man. But my, I'm going to answer it because I respect what you're doing. I don't agree with it, man. I don't feel like the system is so fucked up man, where they don't give a fuck what your situation was or if you see them, they don't care about the situation or anything. The circumstances of the situation. They just look at them points and you, and you've got a shitty public defender is working in cahoots with the fucking state attorney and you know what? They're, you know it. Do they look at that money, they'll get that money and they'll fucking ruin somebody's life, man. About a fucking, you know what I'm saying? No matter how severe it is, man, I don't think you should take somebody's fucking life away.  forever because of one incident. Yeah. You know, sometimes people make mistakes and you need to get punished for that. I needed to go to prison for the fucked up shit I did, but guess what? I did my time and got out and look what I'm doing now. Look what I'm doing now, you know what I'm saying? So for you to give a person life behind something for one incident, I think is ridiculous. Ridiculous.
Taylor Conley: [00:33:36] That's a mic dropper right there, bro. You know, I, I appreciate you, uh, coming on here, man, and, and being so passionate and really speaking your mind and speaking your heart. It uh..
Seth Anthony: [00:33:49] Of course brother
Taylor Conley: [00:33:50] It means a lot to me Seth
Seth Anthony: [00:33:51] Of course I respect what you're doing, man, I respe-, I really respect what you're doing. I'm not just telling you that I'm one hundred percent with you, man. cause you know, a couple of times since I got out, I could be sitting right there next to you, bro. You don't understand that. You know, you get out of prison, your mind is fucked up, man. You know what I'm saying? It took ...I'm still dealing with society, man. And I wig out sometimes, man. You know what I'm saying? Because that shit just fucks you up when you get out. You know what I mean? So. I'm all for what you're doing, man, and you're fucking being you're being positive, bro. And, you know, positive people make it in this world, no matter what circumstance their in, they make it, you know what I mean? So that's just something you gotta - I just respect what you're doing, man. You know what I mean?
Taylor Conley: [00:34:29] Likewise, man, I really respect what you're doing, man. I'm a big fan and I can't wait to hear the album, bro. And I like to do a follow up with you later on. You know, maybe after, after the album drops or maybe, uh, you know, at some point.
Do a follow up and see how you're doing. And, and definitely after we do this Renegade song, bro, maybe we can do it at that time, but uh, but yah look forward to it man, and uh, good luck next week down doing that, that video shoot bro. And, and just, just keep doing, doing the hard work, bro. Keep uh grinding out there man. Cause you're getting it.
Seth Anthony: [00:35:06] Yeah thanks brother, keep your head up in there man.
Taylor Conley: [00:35:10] All right brother.
Seth Anthony: [00:35:12] Alright man good talking to you brother
Taylor Conley: [00:35:13] You have a good one man. Absolutely.
Seth Anthony: [00:35:15] you too brother, alright peace

And today we got a question from somebody and, and it's a question that I feel like a lot of people might have. So it'll be interesting to figure it out now how I answer it to the best that I can to the best of my ability. So what is it like to deal with the day to day of life in prison and do all the things you're doing?
I mean, it's kind of a general question, but at the same time something that, as I think about it for a second, I think like prison is such a complex environment. There's so many different variables, you know, uh, things can change within a second and we could all be, you know, have the life. There's so many changes that have happened since I've been in prison along the way that reshape basically the environment that you're in.
Prison's like a microcosm of society in and of itself in which you're under a microscope. Everything you do is monitored and there are rules for everything. It's difficult to navigate these rules, which are set by the state, but then within that is a whole another set of rules and conduct. So you really have to walk a fine line.
I mean, and it depends on what you're doing too. There's so many variables at play. Like I said. So if you're not vigilant in everything that you do, one wrong step could have your whole world flipped upside down and everything changed. Everything that you thought that you had is gone. So it's, it's really comes into balance, especially if you're trying to do something with yourself outside of the normal day to day life of prison.
It's, it's a balance of being aware of your surroundings. And what I do? I stay busy with my time, I grind it out. I'm involved in a number of positive programs that I try to stay involved in that as much as I can because it, it keeps my mind busy. It keeps me active in working towards becoming a better person.
And the biggest thing for me is, is if I can inspire somebody else to do something different with their lives so they don't keep coming back here to visit me. Doing life and fricking prison. It's, it's something that I'm very passionate about because I love to hear these success stories of people that get out and they do something different.
Man, I hate it when I see these people keep coming back in and like a revolving door and it saddens me. Really. It really saddens me. It hurts me. I don't even like to, I don't even like to think about it because it's happened so often. I've seen people come back five, six times since I've been in prison these last 14 years and I just, I truly, truly want to stop seeing that happen. Cause there's so much more to life and you can use these, these tools that you can create within yourself by doing this time to really have a success. And that's why I Seth Anthony's story is so powerful is because he used what he went through to make himself a success, and he's just seeing more and more success with it. So it inspires me to do even better and to go even further because I know that other people can do that as well. And I want to inspire that in them. So thank you very much for tuning in. I just want to give a big thank you to everybody who makes this possible, and I really, really want to say that I appreciate all the listeners.
Anybody listening who has a question, like I said, hit us up and we will get back to you. Alright? Have a nice day.
