There’s no consistency across the clamp school timeline and it’s hilarious bc everything is all over the place and god knows when these kids’ school terms begin and end lmfao

#CSD and 20 Mensou mess it up the most #I was rereading 20 mensou and unless it’s a translation mistake Utako has her 6th birthday twice #akira seems to magically go from 3rd to 4th grade between volumes while no one else changes #and god knows how long this one academic year is #bc 20 mensou starts in summer and when it reaches December that’s when the detectives manga starts #bc it’s the same Christmas party story but then things continue well into the next year #when they almost certainly should have moved up a grade in Spring #but nah we end up all the way in autumn again lmfao #The most concrete thing I know is my hero boys have their story in autumn but which one idk #There are two autumns in this one school year xD

🌬Gemini suns are the epitome of golden retriever energy.

🌬I’ve noticed a lot of people in the psychology field or with psych degrees tend to have Cancer and/or Virgo placements in their big 6. Either that or strong 4th and 6th house energy. Makes a lot of sense. 4th house= emotions. 6th house= service for others.

🌬Cancer suns are underrated for being leaders, I’ve had so many bosses and higher-ups who have been Cancer suns.

🌬I’ve noticed that homewreckers tend to have a lot of fire/water dominance in their charts, which I think is due to their passion ruling their decisions. I’ve noticed this with cheaters as well. I also think with water placements it comes from insecurity.

🌬Cancer sun women are underrated in terms of sex appeal. My mom said the same thing too so it’s not just me tooting my own horn. Let’s think of some popular Cancer sun celebrities- Pam Anderson, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Sofia Vergara, Selena Gomez. All have sex appeal and have been sexualized a lot. Cancer sun women do get sexualized a lot. I’m realizing this as I type it. I only notice this in women though, sorry Cancer sun men LMAO. I’m a Cancer sun and I get sexualized for no gd reason.

🌬I’ve noticed that Taurus Venus and Taurus Mars people tend to go for more curvier/voluptuous women.

🌬Peak Aries moon energy is losing interest in someone because they’re not giving you enough attention.

🌬I feel like Cancer suns care a lot about politics and this quality is often overlooked.

🌬I feel like Taurus rising women+ feminine presenting people have like the ultra divine feminine energy. I think it’s because Venus rules their chart, but a lot of Taurus risings I’ve noticed are VERY feminine or have feminine qualities.

🌬Not really an observation but other aspects in your chart can be very powerful and overshadow qualities you’re “supposed” to have. For example I have two friends who are Aries suns with Libra moons with earth rising, and they are so different. I will say both do have feminine qualities though, like personality wise and physically. Other than that though they’re very different, one is the stereotypical Aries and the other is more like a Pisces.

🌬Idk what’s been going on but I feel like I’ve been encountering so many Libra suns with Sagittarius moons. I don’t know if that’s a common combo, but I’ve been coming across a lot of them lately. (I also work with one). I’ve noticed the men with these aspects are such fuckboys, the women usually aren’t, but the men? Oof.

🌬I’ve noticed a lot of people with Bipolar disorder or BPD tend to have harsh aspects between their sun and moon. I think it’s because those are the two most personal parts of our charts and having them clash can create conflict within.

2,500-Year-Old Greek-Illyrian Helmet Discovered in Croatia

Archaeologists discovered a Greek-Illyrian helmet dating 2,500 years in very good condition on Croatia’s Pelješac peninsula.

The same team that found the Greek-Ilyrian helmet in 2020, in the same place, has found the next helmet, which according to the first analysis is older than the one found earlier.

The previous example most likely belonged to a member of the warrior elite who was interred there because it was discovered in a grave with pieces of iron weapons.

Archaeologists think the recently discovered helmet may have been a votive deposit because it was discovered in a dry stone-walled addition to a grave.

Greco-Illyrian type helmets originated in Peloponnese, Ancient Greece, where it likely evolved from the Kegelhelm (or Kegel type) of the Archaic Period.

The Greek-Illyrian helmet is extremely rare

Both of the helmets found are of different types and dates: The helmet discovered in 2020 was of a type commonly used in Greece and Illyria in the 4th century BC. It was an open-faced helmet with a rectangular cross-section for the face and decorative edges.

The newly found helmet is thought to date from the 6th century BC and is extremely rare. Finding two different Greek-Illyrian helmets at one site is unprecedented.

This find, along with a wealth of clothing, jewelry, and burial artifacts unearthed since the excavations began, greatly expands our knowledge of the funeral practices of Illyrian communities in the latter half of the first millennium BC.

The Illyrians were a group of Indo-European-speaking people who inhabited the western Balkan Peninsula in ancient times. They constituted one of the three main Paleo-Balkan populations, along with the Thracians and Greeks.

“What is very interesting is that two different types appear here in the same place, which speaks of a continuity of power of the respective community. These helmets have always been a symbol of some kind of status and power,” said Professor Hrvoje Potrebica, from the Department of Archeology of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb.

Speaking on the discovery, a representative from the Dubrovnik Museum said: “Along with numerous finds of jewelry, costumes and grave goods, this find of a helmet contributes in many ways to the knowledge of funeral rituals of Illyrian communities in the second half of the last millennium BC, and it ranks the area of Pelješac as one of the most important archaeological zones of the eastern Adriatic coast.”

Recently, archaeologists in Southern Italy have unearthed several significant artifacts, including two helmets, fragments of weapons and armor, and pottery shards, at an archaeological site in the ancient Greek city of Velia.

this is a very spur of the moment not well thought out au but... JUST LISTEN. (more under the cut & in my pinned)

Lawrence Stroll bought a team on the f1 grid in 2006

Renamed it Racing Point to secure a spot for his 18 year old son (and put him in pink bc hes so cute in pink)

Lance Stroll was born October 29, 1987, he started karting in 1991

Fernando Alonso was born July 29, 1981, started karting in 1984

When Lance made his debut in f1 there was a lot of talk around the paddock about the nepo baby and Strolls choice to have both drivers on the team be rookies. (Stroll and Rosberg)

During the first race of the season Lance got p6 and Nico got p7, both scoring points for the team

After the race Fernando Alonso went to congradulate the rookies, both stunned because the race winner was praising their work

Nico was honored to be congradulated by a world champion

Lance was... well. Maybe he liked the older mans praise more than he should've.

As the season progressed Fernando continued to find reasons to speak to the rookies, even though it was evident he cared more about what the brunette had to say.

After both Racing Point drivers DNF in the 2nd and 3rd races of the season Fernando made sure to try and lessen the pain.

Each time Fernando came to the Racing Point garage, each time he searched the paddock to find #18, each time he spoke it only made the 18 year olds heart grow fonder.

Lance thought the driver was like this to every rookie, so caring and comforting, but that just wasn't the case.

He was known for not going out of his way to do anything like he was doing with the Racing Point drivers.

After Lance got 6th in the 4th race of the season Fernando was the first to congratulate him, as if he hadn't just gotten second.

He noticed at the next race that he didn't go out of his way to congradulate Nico on his 7th place, he just went straight to him to comfort him about yet another DNF.

Before then he hadn't thought too much about Fernandos intentions or why exactly he was talking to him so much.

By this time in the season fans had started to notice how close the two had gotten, seeing how they naturally gravitated towards eachother.

When Fernando won the next race Lance made sure to beat him to it and congratulate the world champion first, loving how it brought a smile to his face.

Fernando didn't smile like that when others congratulated him, didn't smile like that when being asked about his wins, didn't smile like that when Nico said the exact same thing.

Lance felt insane for thinking this way but he couldn't help but feel a little special.

A few races later in America was the first time Fernando wasn't on the podium, the first time they spent the whole time after the race together.

It was nice, being in his presence, he felt like a sunbather in the sun anytime the older man spoke to him, it was silly but it was always his favourite part of the race week.

The next time he wasn't on podium was in Germany, he almost felt bad for feeling this way but he looked forward to the days when Fernando got p4 or lower because it meant they'd spend the whole afternoon together.

It was just like in America, the two of them just standing around going over the week and the last few races until Fernando asked him a question.

"Have you ever kissed someone?"

Lance laughed at the question, unsure where it came from

"Have I kissed anyone?" He asked back, wondering if it was a serious question

"Si, you do know what kissing is, no?"

Lance couldn't help but laugh again, he was 18 not 8, of course he knew what kissing was.

"Have you ever kissed anyone?" Lance asked, knowing for a fact he had, it'd be insane if not, how could someone so stunning not have kissed someone? How could someone with girls around him constantly have not kissed someone and more.

"I asked first, Lancito."

Fernando had called him that almost constantly since the season started yet every time it never failed to make the youngers heart flutter.

"No" He admitted, almost embarrassed "I'm not very good with people" he added, knowing the only people on the grid he could talk to easily were Fernando and Nico

"I could be your first"

How the "Puss in Boots 2: The last wish" has a very important literature reference

Puss, even his fairytale is Italian, is a obvious reference of a Spanish character: the accent, the swordmaster, ... . But, in this movie, he also embodies a very important figure in the Spanish literature and folklore.

(if you want to know more keep reading)

First a small description of Puss and how he is shown in the begining of the movie. He is an hedonist who loves to drink, eat, flirt and duel without the fear of dying. He doesn't value the things of live and thinks he will live forever as a libertine (licentious).

The most licentious character in the literature is Don Juan.

Even Don Juan is a well-known character, lets talk more abot him and why he is so similar to Puss (not only bc both of them are Andalusians).

Don Juan is not only a literature character from some plays and novels, he is a very popular legend in the Spanish folklore that has two origins in other two tales:

El burlador (The libertine)

El convidado de piedra (The stone guest)

The libertine

Don Juan is an hedonist, it is shown with his lust, gluttony, avarice and his desire for the duels and the scandal. If we notice Puss' deaths we can see this traits:

The flirtatious

The gambling

Gluttony

The 4th, 5th and 6th deaths are related of his pride.

Puss doesn't have the malice that Don Juan does, but the paralelism is obvious.

The Stone Guest

Following most of Don Juan's versions, he goes to the cementary where there is a funerary statue of the Comendador (Commander). He invites the statue to go to his home to have dinner with him in a act of vanity and malice. The statue accepts and joins him for dinner, he will be the one who bring Don Juan to Hell.

To see the conexion with the movie we have to go to the roots of this legend: the oral tradition of el Galán y la calavera (The Gallant and the Skull).

Here some fragments of this tradition (I won't translate this sorry)

These are narrative poems who tells the story of a young man (libertine too) find a skull in his way. He invites the skull to join for a dinner with him while laughing. For his surprise the skull visits him that night and sits with him at the table joining for dinner. The skull didn't eat nor drink anything, but when the protagonist finish his meal, the skull invites him to join for dinner the next day at its/their home. The dinner would be at the grave, meaning that the Skull is Death itself (herself, bc in most Spanish literature Death is she)

This figure evolved into becoming the stone guest but the core is the same. Both, the Skull and the Stone guest are characters which the protagonist mocked and then reveal that they were Death itself.

This scene makes it clear:

The last wish is more close to Zorrilla's version of Don Juan, Puss is saved from Death by the value he learned from his love (and friends).

It also has more references: The movie begins with the fuss Puss makes in the house of the Governor as most of the versions of Don Juan starts with him making fuss in the Comendador's house.

Mentioned I was working on something, this isn't that. But here are some fun facts I found while digging through the WNBA website and doing far too much math!

Years of experience DO count years where a player played on hardship contracts, but NOT a year where a player played no minutes in the W.

The Wings have the most rookies of any current team with 5 (Jaelyn Brown, Lou Lopez Senechal, Jacy Sheldon, Stephanie Soares, and Sevgi Uzun)

To go along with that, the Wings have the least years of experience between all of their players---35 years between them. The Fever is second-last with 38.

The team with the MOST experience is the Sun with 71 years total (thanks to the vets that Alexis Morris wanted to 'hang it up')

The Sky have half of all 4th year players in the league currently

Alysha Clark is the only 12th year player, Courtney Vandersloot is the only 14th year player, DeWanna Bonner is the only 15th year player, and Diana Taurasi is of course the only 20th (!!) year player

Most stuff below. Lots of rambling.

So. Flatland. It's a good book, and an amazing f*cking movie. I love this goddamned movie so much bro. It's not even like a "good" good movie I just really like it for no reason.

Some lore I have with this book, since I want to talk about it.

I watched this movie the first time when I was in 6th grade. It scared me so bad that I had nightmares about it for a week. I hated the style of the 2D world and was so scared about the amount of murder that I psychologically blocked it all out.

Now in the present (as an adult in college), my friend brought up the movie for us to watch during a movie night. I was way more excited to watch it than I thought I would be (cuz of my previous encounter with it and wanting to "reclaim" the movie), but we only got 4 minutes in before my other friends got bored and decided to watch something else. I sorta dropped it for a bit after that before @/goosesartblog posted their ONE - Flatland crossover and 10000 emotions flew over me. I then proceeded to watch it with my siblings, who also did not care about the movie.

Now, it has become a lifestyle of watching it every single day. Every. Single. Day. It's bad. I can't stop.

And it's on YouTube for free.

AND the book is on YouTube as an audiobook AND the actual PDF book is just there to read.

PLEASE. I NEED PEOPLE TO NOT BE NORMAL WITH ME.

Anyways, actual relevant doodles. These characters are A. Sphere (the objectively best character idgaf) and Carlton Cube(?). I saw something about them being John-locked and thought it was really funny. Also, I saw a meme about the two getting Starbucks or smth during the week I lingered, so here lol.

Some more doodles of concept stuff. Actual A. Square art and some style testing, Hex doodle, and more A. Sphere bc I love him so much. His ass is gay idk if you think I'm wrong just look at him.

Silly little idea I had about if Spherious *(the sphere from the other Flatland movie) and A. Sphere were in the same universe. It's unlikely, but I think Spherious would be the Messiah of 2000 and A. Sphere is the Messiah of 3000. They met at some point where their lives overlapped, and Spherious tried to give A. Sphere advice, to which he was completely ignored. A. Sphere's a bratty teen here and Spherious is a grandpa. They treat their apostles very differently.

Another silly idea I had was that when A. Sphere "died", he was actually picked up by a 4D being named A. Tesseract. He stays with her until the war is over in his dimension, and he is able to see A. Square one last time during his hallucination (that's why A. Sphere's innards are seen). Also also, A. Sphere learns how to treat people better b/c of A. Tesseract and the 4th dimensions' more liberal views on expression and gender. Development for the stupid shiny solid.

Having both 10th and 8th house placements is so annoying. If there is something an 8th houser need its privacy and thats the one thing 10th houser will never get.

Venus Square Pluto in a mans chart is the ”the girl i was in love with in my teens rejected me and I never got over it” kinda energy. Very often there is some kind of bitterness towards women.

Projection is not only projecting negative stuff onto others, its also projecting positive qualities on to people, something that neptune energy tends to do. They be like ”nooo she would never do that”.

People with Neptune/Pisces 2nd house are so confused when it comes to money. The ones to buy a Guccibag when they dont have a bed.

Pluto conjunctions in composite can indicate a relationship that never ends. ”We are not done with eachother” kinda energy. You might be in your teens now but trust me you will bump into eachother again when you are like 40. Not even moving to different countries can separate this bond.

Venus aspecting Neptune people are so damn artistic. Especially when Uranus is involved. My friend have the conjunction to both Uranus and Neptune and everything she wears look so good and unique. And she finds the clothes nobody else have.

People with 8th and 12th house energy needs to be careful because they attract people who are addicted to their energy. People who dont even like them wants to be around them bc of it. Same can be said about 2nd house placement and their possessions.

Mercury trine Ascendant makes someone a good actor because their body language and what they want to communicate works perfectly together.

Venus can shows a body part you like to take a little extra care of. My mom is a pisces Venus and growing up i always saw her do foot baths, etc. Libra Venus might like to work out their butt at the gym etc.

I just have to laugh when I see people with Lilith 11th house take the bullies side because trust me honey it will be your turn next.

People with Lilith 4th house might have had a mother who had issues with them being home alone. Their mom might not go to work when the lilith 4th house person is sick and home from school even tho the kid is over 15 and can be at home by themselves. Constantly in the kids face.

People with 6th house placements tend to be naturally gorgeous. A lot of them look better with no makeup or light makeup.

Moon Square Uranus people might cut the bond out of nowhere. A person in my town with this aspect is even known for this. She become best friends with someone and have these sleepovers and are constantly close to them then out of nowhere something happens and she never talks to them again. Uranus Square can make someone just snap out of nowhere.

People with Nessus(7066) conjunct Mercury have a habit of wanting to mentally undress people and make things into something more serious than it is. You wear a maxi dress and they be like ”you dont like your legs” uhm no honey I just thought this maxi dress looked good.

People with Jupiter in the 1st house can sometimes be a little too laidback and not make an effort because they always attracted attention without doing anything. They never had to ”fight” to get attention, social contacts, fame etc. This can make them socially lazy.

Pluto aspecting the Ascendant can give you the kinda energy that nobody will try you, but it can also do the opposite. Pluto either scare the freaky people or pull them in.

People with conjuntions to Chiron = being turned off by people who likes them and chasing people who will never want them instead. (Especially moon and Venus)
