A short woman with deep blue skin and freckles that shine like stars. Her skin is shifting between deep blue and purple. She has a round face with full lips and a button nose. Round eyes with black sclera and bright blue iris stare at you with curiosity. Her long curly hair is white with pale blue streaks. Massive white feathered wings cover her back, sometimes used to cover her body like a cloak. Her smile might be gentle but the sharp fangs showed less so.

The Eternal Night [NB]

“I have turned a blind eye to the world far too long. I will no longer allow anything to happen to you.”

The Eternal Night is a distant person. Even more towards the other gods, yet for you they show a kinder side. They are tall and slender. Their sharp face is softened by full lips and expressive eyes. They have dark grey skin paired with stark white hair, that reaches their chin. The wavy strands frame their face nicely. Their eyes-- black sclera with crimson iris—are often covered by their mask. Massive black wings sprout from their back, and then the light catches the feathers right they look more blue than dark.

Santana [F/M]

"Why is it that every time I look at you I feel that I have known you for lifetimes? Why does my soul yearn for you?"

A priest you met in your past, a rather interesting person with a stubborn brand of kindness.

Tawny skin sprinkled with freckles. Golden hair is kept in a braid, far away from their face, yet a few strands escape and frame their heart-shaped face. Expressive eyes look at you, their blue gaze shining brightly.

They stand at an average height, donning the white and golden robes of the priests of Sun. Over that, they wear a chainmail.

You thought you lost them to the sands of time.

contains! . . . obey me! shall we date?/obey me! one master to rule them all, mammon being all flustered and stammering, use of nicknames “human” and “mams”, sleepy mc, mc has ram horns (i know that rams are basically adult male sheep but im trying my best to keep this as gender neutral as possible so pls-), mammon being mammon, pretty much no major warnings! :D notes! . . . this is also a small writing that i scrambled to create at night just like the most recent ace imagine- March 14th, 2024 at 3:08 AM 💀

mammon, the great mammon, the avatar of greed—cannot take this any longer.

while sitting up comfortably in his beloved human’s bed, he finds himself trapped and unable to move with the human clinging on to his back like he’s the tree and they’re the.. koala (from what he remembers, when both of them were comparing the human realm’s animals to the devildom’s creatures).

but also—not to mention... he feels like the side of his cheek is starting to burn aflame by the stare that’s causing it.

now, with the courage he mustered up internally—mammon decides to confront them like he's accusing that they're at fault for something trivially bad. yeah.

“o- oi human... what’cha starin’ at me with that look for?? ”

the words simple slip so easily out of his mouth as the burning grows more prominent and quite warmer when the staring doesn’t stop, more likely directed at his eyes specifically; you can still see his lashes fluttering every time he blinks.

with his gaze now focused on you; your arms drapped over his shoulders in a careless manner but secure enough for him to not shrug you off intentionally (not that he would) and your legs crossed and locked around his waist, your head rested on his shoulder—or your arm—as you stare with a sleepy look in your drooping eyes, like you’re at the brink of giving up staying awake any longer but yet you remain at least half-lidded the entire time.

moving your position slightly, the question he asked has you speaking up a bit. “hmmph...”, a soft hum erupts from your throat, half of your face burrowed within his sweater as you made sure to keep your horns away—sppcifically the tips—to prevent injuring him by total accident, “I don’t know... just.. I like how pretty your eyes appear when you wear those shades. the black ones with an orange golden-like gradient in the lenses. ’ts like a sunset’s reflection on a blue sea, but your eyes are very pretty either way; with or without shades.”

...

... dammit human....

mammon does not have any idea on how to respond—momentarily frozen with his thumb paused the second before it can touch the screen of his D.D.D. that showed the homepage of Devilgram.

congrats mc, you broke him.

“mams?” your weary voice with a hint of amusement brings mammon’s blue-screen-of-death mind back to the present, following a brief chuckle to escape you. “seems like even the littlest of compliments can make you react like a reindeer caught in the headlights.”

that sentence makes the poor second born sputter and stumble over his words, a dark red-ish flush blooms over his cheeks from embarrassment and being a flustered mess; darkening his skin by the blood rushing to his face.

“we- well, of course you’d see the great mammon in that way! ... no, i am not blushing- it’s just a little hot in ’ere! yer just seein’ things.. and no i ain’t enjoying this at all, human! i’m just lettin’ ya do this because i allow ya to, ’kay?!” despite his denies and protests about ever feeling warm and fuzzy in this moment, you can still tell he’ll treasure this memory a lot in the future.

i was so excited for the new winx reboot sneak peak i kind of forgot to write down my initial thoughts so here it is (i’m so curious on how this opinion of mine will hold up once the show comes out!!)

first impressions - i actually really like it!

look, i love 2d animation just as the next guy, but i don’t think we’re ever getting back the s1-s4 animation (2d animation from s5-onwards was SO stiff and jarring looking, huge no thank you), and if that’s the case, i think the 3d style that they went for in the reboot is one of the better solutions for it.

it’s vibrant! it’s colourful! it’s giving “magical girls”! it just looks aesthetically pleasing! also i’m OBSESSED with the way they animate their hair, especially bloom’s, it’s giving “bratz series” level of eyegasm hair animation for me. so getting this after the moody, edgy, dramatic “fate: the winx saga” tone set in, i am so relieved we are going back to our roots babeey!! (now here’s to hoping that animation doesn’t tank as the series goes on like how miraculous ladybug is animated by like, 2 different studios and then one episode feels amazing and the other is “hm”)

now for bloom:

her iconic bangs are back baby!! i love how they translated them into 3d without them being too uncanny. the outfit is very cute, but can we PLEASE stop putting bloom in pink?? one of her major appeals as a main character in a girly show was that she wasn’t a pink lead! and blue works so well with her colour palette of red hair & blue/turquoise eyes it’s just aaaaah! replace the pink parts with blue and she’s perfect. (tbh these are still wip, so it could change!)

i’m still warming up to the idea of denim leg warmers though, they look weird to me now (will probably get used to them) but they kind of go with her character, because it looks likeee our bloom s1-s3 personality is back!!!!!! I’M SO HAPPYYY like YES!!! i missed her for a DECADE

next up is mitzi!

they nailed her design imo. she looks like original mitzi, but she also feels like a proper, “updated” version of her look. modern, but not too modern so she’s stuck in the era, but also retains the character of og mitzi. overall, no complaints on my part, only praises!

and then we have the new logo!

IT’S JUST DOING THINGS TO ME IDK it feels so pleasing to the eye?? the purple to orange gradient is just right, the pink is sprinkled in just right and the blues are there to accent it, it’s just. SO AESTHETICALLY PLEASING to me it truly does feel like a natural update on the og winx logo. it’s amazing!!

and if their transformation is the one originally leaked in 2021?? i think it’s on a very good path to being a great reboot! now i’m still really trying to keep my hopes as low as possible, because rarely do i watch a reboot of a beloved series and think it’s on par or better than the og (actually, only shera really comes to mind…), but! i am liking what i’m seeing! i choose to trust mister straffi on this one!!

id honestly consider the cut arena scug 4 an oc at this point. it deviates so much from the One sprite we get. oops

the Not So Line Lineup

survivor! scar on snout is based on one of the cut arena sprites for player 1, it has a little.. scar? notch? line? there. survivor passage symbol on head as well and freckles :) some brown to match monk sorta. spikey fur!

^ what the scar is based on

overall more rounded than survivor, to reference the monk passage symbol which is also on their head. a little dewlap to reference gourmand - i think gourmand and survivor and monk are related. lighter yellows to reference survivor!

third sibling!!! the little orange line on their head is actually karma 7 (i realized survivor is karma 5 and monk is karma 6- so why not go with the theme?) and a sorta partial saint symbol on their head, missing the middle line. yellow/red accenting color to reference monk and survivor sorta. blu :)

sorta pinker. based on one of my old draft designs, just made a little better. green accent color to match sig. a little fluffy and sharp. ear tufts cause theyre fun and a tufted tail. hunter passage symbol is also on tail teehee. sig's head symbol is also on hunter. the scar is also green

nightcat is some sorta weird echo thing. to me. little wings for the fun of it. i dont have much on this design honestly other than i used dodge A Lot. the accenting pink on the dark purple parts was originally an accident but like? it vibes.

wanderer! cause actually why not. the white symbol on their chest is a half of sig's symbol, i'd like to think sig helped suns make wanderer. if you put its head symbol together with nightcat it makes the scholar :) blue accenting color is close to the negative/opposite colors of nightcat.

i dont have many notes for this biggol guy. sorta looks alike survivor and monk i suppose. feathers! theyre sorta rose colored i think. idk. it looks nice. simple patterns cause gourmand is a symbol guy

artiiii. i wanted to put an accent color on arti but it was so Hard because i was Stubborn and Needed That Damn Cyan on it. markings based on a siamese cat except for the ones on the arm and legs, theyre sort of tabby based?

green pup is tabby based in markings, pink sorta looks like flower petals. blue pup is siamese cat based in markings and the yellow? idk it looked nice

RIVULETTT. i love rivulet. i made the bright sunset gradient contrast by adding some darker but still vibrant blues and purples to the design, as well as a cream. there's also actual gills udner the display frills (which also got a color update to match instead of being an offbrand bi flag). also webbed fingers!!!

vibrant fuckin purple because it looks nice actually. made it have some cream-pink-purple thing as underbelly instead to make it look nicer. head markings are based directly on suns :) biggol Orb Eyes to Stare In Your Soul. accenting colors sorta match rivulet? idk? they just look nice without contrasting too much. also whiskers. and tall. and thin with long ass grabbers

i kept getting "portal colors" and "aroace flag" and like YEA YALL ARE RIGHT ACTUALLY i just wanted to fit blue and orange on it though lmao. anyway pretty simple body markings to make up for the Six Fucking Accent Colors. three forehead dots are yellow while there's an x on its back and head thats blue... to imitate the rot :) why? figure it out yourself

inv!! not much has changed since honestly i just saturated the colors a bit more i think. idk. i like the yellow on inv though so i make it more prominent sorta? just a guy. still an iterator that turned itself into a slugcat. to me.

then i uh. accent color and scales and um. um. im so normal about this slugcat holyshit curveberry my beloved.... anyway the scales were originally a dark teal? then i hueshifted them and Oh Fuck Dusk Colors Holy Shit. its so good i genuinely love this design so much i doodled it lmao. the scales are based on a pangolin. i actually have ideas for this if it were to be a slugcat campaign...

another cut arena slug! this time this one. i tried to keep it more in line rather than go a bit silly ehe. i still like how this came out- i think the accent color is nice. it looks like bingus to me actually. bingus slugcat

‹𝟹 de rigueur — neuvillette x fem!reader syn. in which your beloved spends his time pampering you in the boutique, in hopes of spending his time only for you. cw. fic is sfw, overall pure fluff. wc 1.1k, fem!reader (no pronouns mentioned)

fluorescent lights radiate the room in a gentle ether, lucent dresses lavished every crevice of the boutique, rivulets of jewels dribble down the fabrics of gowns dangling down the clothes rack bathed under the cordial evening.

fontaine’s weather forecast was as precarious as ever, sporadic rainstorms enveloping the region in endless meadows of saturnine. today, though, was an exceptionally beautiful day, the sun rays gliding gently from one aperture to another. as evening drifts tranquilly, the citizens of fontaine cannot help but ponder,

what has made the hydro dragon so at ease after the endless downpour?

“neuvillette! take a look at this azure-colored gown!”

a succulent voice echoes through the wide blue yonder, lambent orbs admiring a certain gown.

the iudex of fontaine takes a step further to scrutinize the dress his lover has been eyeing on. the dress consists of an ocean-colored gradient, a scrupulous mixture of pearly white and azure, resembling the impeccable sight of a frothing ocean. jewels alike to hydro visions were wreathed around the waist sections of the gown framed with golden embroidery.

“would you like to buy this one, then?” he asks with benevolence.

beside him stood you, hands clutching on the silky skirt of the gown. stupefied upon his generous offer, you tilt your head faintly.

seldom it was to have your bien-aimé by your side striding around the court of fontaine, you insisted him to pay a visit to the well-known chioriya boutique. due to the case of clandestine felonies mounting the fortress of meropide and countless trials occurring, it was impossible for neuvillette to take a day off, even if it was just to see your face.

“you insist?” you questioned back, feeling a tad bit guilty.

neuvillette courses his nimble finger across your jawline, a loving smile graces his lips. “of course, i’d purchase the most lavish jewelries, or dresses if it’s for you, mon amour”

this. this was the reason why you fell for him. while he keeps dour exterior around people, he never forgets to dote on his dearest; simply, you. even melusines find you endearing, it is obvious that neuvillette loves you very much. he’d pamper you with all his wealth possible for the sake of your profuse luxury.

you pondered as you hum, tapping your chin comically, “very well, i’ll put this dress on my list first. i’m considering in ordering a custom selection anyway”

following your blithesome steps, neuvillette’s forehead creased, “oh? you should’ve told me sooner that you wanted a custom design”

“i can do it myself, so i don’t feel like being assisted” you simpered, pacing to a certain section where toques, bonnets, and various kinds of headpieces were displayed.

you inspected the hats before firmly grasping a cerulean berret, gently placing it on your head, “isn’t this perfect for outings? maybe lady furina will like the aegean shade pieces!”

“to be sincere, i’d rather see the berret being worn by you only. it feels imprecise to see something so apposite for you being worn by someone else” he says rather bluntly, extending his hand to primp on the lopsided berret.

“oh? well aren’t you selfish fellow” you shrugged, a flush creeping up your visage as you attempt to feign nonchalance.

dexterous with his words, neuvillette never fails to faze you with his silver tongue, spilling out words drenched with affection whilst plastering an indifferent guise. how can an individual act like that after speaking such utterance capable of thawing even the iciest depths of wintertide? nevertheless, you musn’t be swayed by those words, so you simply said,

“then i’d like to purchase this berret, monsieur neuvillette”

neuvillette’s lips twitched upwards, scoffing, “and what’s with the honorifics now?”

“and i would like two, one for me and one for lady furina” you added, raising your fingers as a gesture of the quantities you desire for the berrets.

“shouldn’t the aegean shade berret be for me instead, if you were to purchase two?” neuvillette winced.

“well i promised lady furina if i were to stop by i would buy her a hat”

“...do you not feel constrained by lady furina? you are aware that she can purchase it by herself, right?”

“good heavens neuvillette, have some empathy for once, would you?”

neuvillette suspires, ceasing his protests. to this extent he infers that you weren’t going to let up, not even once. his eyes, however, tells otherwise—twinkling with endearment. and as promised, he purchases the berrets for you, which costs around three thousand and five hundred mora each (quite pricey, but anything for you, he persists)

leaving the shop, the previously peach-colored dawn faded into a pink and purple hue, its previous orange luminescence turning more vibrant than its previous appearances during the day. with your cerulean berret placed on top of your head, and one tucked inside a shopping bag, you hummed in content; hands intertwined with neuvillette’s.

“so you are still going to give the hat to lady furina?” neuvillette exhorts, voice laced with envy.

“do i have to repeat what i said just a few seconds ago?” you muttered, shooting a glare.

“well if you insist,” neuvillette pauses, slipping his arm around your waist, a shade of crimson tinting his cheeks was omnipresent. “if i can’t have the berret, don’t i deserve a kiss instead?”

your body was jerked back within the tug of his hands towing you closer in his wake. and instead of leaning in for a kiss, you whispered to his ear, lips close to the shell of his ear, “out of all places, you ask this type of offer right here?!”

“i don’t see a hindrance to do so, or should i seduce you?”

you stammered, awning his lips with your hand, “t… that’s not what i’m referring to!”

“i see, i should do that then” he smiles coyly.

“h— hey!!!! neu. villette!!!” the second part of your reply was whispered in frenzied whispers as you struggled to extricate yourself from the iron grasp his foolish arm held.

with that kind of grip caging your body, you are no longer safe from his temptation.

So I've used the warp design before for my design for @pleasantboatpress's copy of For Gladness of You, and I wanted to see if i could replicate it again. I do think if I ever re-attempt this design i'd like to use a little purple in there.

Design inspired by queercore's lovely modified long-stitch bindings, which i've bastardized into purely decorative spine designs (i am the jackass of decorative faux long stitch and i'm not even sorry). Blue endbands are also inspired by nim from morningstarbindery on instagram's beautiful copy of Away Childish Things. It's ridiculously gorgeous and i'm always pushed to do better and more beautiful things by my friends in Renegade.

Can you tell how much I freaking love this fic? I actually received a RIDICULOUSLY STUNNING and beautiful copy of this fic from queercore from the exchange but I had already started typesetting and prepping this amazing story and MORE PHYSICAL COPIES OF THIS FIC SHOULD BE IN EXISTENCE.

This is probably the first long star trek fic I ever read. It is that old, so it holds a lot of special memories in my heart. I used colibri graphite for bookcloth (colibri my beloved, of which i tragically scuffed the back cover, hence no photos). Endpapers are renato crepaldi (can you tell i have some loves), and the spine design is done with lightly waxed linen thread in 4 different shades of blue. I once again forgot to factor in the bulk of the thread at the spine, could possibly have added 0.1cm to the length of the cover boards but what's done is done. had a near catastrophic fuck up with endpapers on casing in because of the bulk of the thread, but luckily remedied fast enough before the PVA dried. the squares are not perfect, particularly on the back cover, but i can live with it.

I couldn't really decide what to do with the cover so as I always I kept it simple with some silver and subtle holographic HTV.

I have also discovered my binds bookshelf is absolutely fucking full and i have a problem. The solution is evidently to buy another bookcase.

next on my list are the author copies for FFWAD - they've been started and i hope to finish two of them in the next 2-3 weeks.

I'm very low-key participating in the Tour de Fleece with my goals being

to spin a little whenever I can so it doesn't need to be every day

to spin what brings me joy in the moment, so i'm not "locked" into a specific project

So far, I can report the following:

I finished a single turtle with more of "Mondschaf" fluff.

It's gonna be chainplied when my plying spindle has been freed from its current entanglement of:

I also started a plying turtle with my Super Hightech plying contraption:

The blue yellow thing is spun from what i call the Paz Fluff. The white is Alpaca from my hometown which i spun on my little Nano 2. I have more hometown-grown fluff in brown and black, so I might go for a little sorta gradient here, we'll see ^_^

I wanna knit (!) a Paz Hug Shawl bc if I can't hug fictional people I can at least make something with their main colours and wrap myself up in it xD

This is a very longterm project. I expect it to be done in 3-4 years or so. The alpaca fluff might be carded but there's a lot of VM in there, so it needs more prepping time. Then spinning up like 400g each of Paz Fluff and Alpaca Fluff. Then plying. Then knitting. And all at my slow pace.

So, yeah, 3-4 years seem appropriate xD

I also have this one with merino and silk in the backburner which I might take with me on my oncoming journeys, though it seems to be prone to felt quite a bit.

okay so. two things!! first of all, over the course of january (and the beginning of february) i participated in the kirby oc secret santa, which was wonderfully hosted by @/moonverc3x. i was lucky enough to be the santa for @/starflungwaddledee, and ended up with two of my best pieces so far!!

these were CHALLENGING, though. which is where the second thing comes in!! under the cut, i'll be going over some of the sketches, drafts and phases of either piece! there's also a speedpaint. exciting!!

i'll be starting with my starstruck piece! the theme here was wanderlust - literally one of the most whimsical words i know - and generally anything to do with the stars. i had a few things in mind, but considering how long it sometimes takes to make artwork, i decided to roll with what inspired me the most.

this is the final sketch compared to the final artwork. certainly one of the crazier transformations i've done. i had a mental image of most parts of the artwork, from the material of starstruck's bow to the lighting cast by the stars. everything except for the grass (i hate grass!!) i ended up rendering the grass and background first, anyway.

doing the background before the rest of the artwork helps define the lighting and shadows! if i decided to draw starstruck before the background, i'd have to draw it according to the lighting.

weird explanation, but in summary: background before character helps the character look like a part of the environment! character before background means extra steps need to be taken before the character fits in the environment!

starstruck's bow was also a decent challenge! i'm a fan of bows and satin, so a satin bow sounded like a good idea. it was, but i've never drawn satin before. the workaround was an active satin study! i stared at a satin bow i found on pinterest and tried to understand how light spread over the material. it's quite interesting!!

you might notice that i flipped the direction of the shooting stars. this is for composition reasons!! i wanted to make starstruck the obvious focus, and while the contrast between her warmer palette and the background's cooler palette easily achieve that, i wanted to cement it. i also added little hand drawn sparklies everywhere. because i like it.

of course, i have to talk about the eyes!! if anything, i noticed that in all of starflung's drawings of starstruck, she had really glittery eyes. literally adorable. so i made it my mission to capture her feelings in her eyes!! i had a lot of fun making them super shiny and adding little stars in there. i also needed to pay attention to the subtle gradient, though - they fade from blue to pink if you zoom into starflung's artworks - and decided to keep it vibrant.

okay. thats all for this one!! i'd like to mention that in the original sketch for this specific pose, bandee was in the background. i really regret scrapping that now. oh, well!

time for morpho dee! i'll be starting for with the speedpaint for this one, mainly because it sort of explains some of the process by itself.

i restarted the shading... three or four times at least? so yeah. i was losing it on this piece. i'll be completely honest, i contemplated dropping it for the sake of meeting the deadline. it wasn't stressing me out, but i had studies to worry about too, and i was worried that it wouldn't be of great quality? but after some advice from my beloved older sister, i managed to turn the tide!!

this is a first for me, but everything here was a challenge. if you scroll through my account and the few artworks i've posted, you'll notice that i draw gijinkas far more than orbs. now, you may be wondering why this didn't pose so much of an issue for my starstruck piece! it's mainly because i chose a far simpler pose for her than i did for morpho over here.

for morpho, the artwork needed to be dramatic. i draw cutesy things - while i've always wanted to draw something dramatic, i've never pushed myself to do it. until this artwork! i went for a dynamic pose which would (hopefully) pull the viewer's eye towards morpho dee. that's what's up with the foreshortned spear! i also realised that the plcement of his feet would be quite significant to the artwork. you might not know this, but feet are my greatest enemy. i'm still trying to figure out how best to draw them for people or orbs, but i'm getting there.

after 'lineart' (which really ended up being a cleaned sketch - this was supposed to be linelessly rendered, but i gave up on that) the pose was no longer a problem. because the shading was! hooray!!

nothing has quite bewildered me like metal shading has. i've shaded gold. satin. cotton, fluffy scarves, shiny things, grass. yet metal shading continues to elude me! this was, hands down, the most difficult part of this artwork. i struggled to make sense of how the lighting was supposed to work, even with references. and every time i thought it made sense, i ended up with something i didn't like the look of. the solution? long breaks, more references and pinterest tutorials. i have no clue how i managed this, but we got here anyways. i finished it off by colouring the lineart according to the shading.

i have experience with drawing fire, at least! it was three or four years ago in an old artwork, but i have experience! i simply had to figure out how to work it into the atmosphere. for the glow, i duplicated the layer, gaussian blurred it and used a slight glow layer! i did something similar for the durst particles, but i used motion blur instead.

i also want to talk about the spear a little bit. you might notice that i added a bit of ambient glow around the blue gem. that was with the light intensity in mind, but also for a sense of realism! i also had to keep the pink light in mind, though. so i ended up using an airbrush to create a base for the lighting and i continued from there. i added a few scratches on the handle just to give it a bit more life, too.

and, finally, a one-to-one comparison between the sketch and the final! i have literally no idea how i pulled either of these pieces off, but i'm quite proud of them.

Y'all I have Thoughts about wither skeleton (hybrid?) q!Missa:

Death/skeleton aesthetic!! (Death Duo my beloved)

Wither-dust-like markings on face/body to make him look more ~spooky skeleton~ (For the face, I'm thinking in patterns like Día de Muertos make-up.)

Empty sockets with little, bright blue soulfires for eyes.

Thin/bony/skeletal hands with that lovely little black->skintone gradient from fingertips->elbows

If he shakes around, he makes a faint rattling noise. No one knows exactly where in his body it's coming from, least of all him.

Great with sword but frankly AWFUL with a bow. (Phil teases him relentlessly for this.)

Cold to the touch! This is because he has a very, VERY low-grade withering effect to everything he touches, which saps only warmth (not life) from others.

He DOES have the ability to wither others tho, so watch out >.>

When angry/upset, wither dust starts collecting around him in clouds until he's just a looming fog of death. (His soulfire eyes burn through the darkness like headlights and it is TERRIFYING.)

Loves the hot weather on the island! Somehow, it feels like home. He has a very high heat tolerance, and he wears cloaks/thick layers all day every day; meanwhile, warm-blooded mammal Phil---with his big black heat-absorbing wings---is dying. (Missa teases him relentlessly for this.)

Fucking PETRIFIED of dogs. Like, primal fear. He will full-on Scooby-Doo jump into Phil's arms at the sight of a pomeranian.

Wither skeletons learn to fight with weapons when they're very young, which is why Missa was so quick to give newly-adopted Chayanne a sword. He's very proud of his little warrior <3

If he holds bones/dead matter in his hands and concentrates hard enough, he can turn it into pure soul sand. This is great for making long-burning torches, camp fires, etc.

I might come back and add more! Feel free to share any ideas you might have :D Wither skeleton q!Missa lives rent free in my head.

Hehehe... sorry for taking forever to answer this, but, unfortunately, I agree, and I think about this all too often ://

He’s got a million pairs—some colorful, some bedazzled, some square, round, cat-eye—but most are black. Relatively simple looking, awfully expensive if you get too close. There’s something about the way he is with his glasses; casual, rehearsed—they’re not an accessory to his outfit like they would be for most people—it’s part of him, his everyday, and he looks really good with them.

He’s trained himself to easily adjust his glasses from falling off his nose when he’s leaning over you, hugging you from behind, or being just plain nosy about what’s on your phone. You always tease that if he gets any closer or looks any harder that his glasses are going to fall off, to which Satoru always smiles and nudges his head against the side of yours to push his frames back up.

When he is worried they could fall off, he always finds some place safe for them, whether that’s rushed into your hands, stuffed in your bag, placed on top of your head, or even right on your face. The latter is his personal favorite, always giving you a kiss to the tip of your nose before sauntering off to do whatever impromptu and reckless activity he had up his sleeve.

He does let them fall on purpose, sometimes. When you walk by in his favorite pair of jeans on you, when you’re wearing that lipstick he likes, when he catches you in his clothes, when you two meet up for a date after work—Satoru will tilt his head down, pull his glasses down enough so you can see his eyes trail you from top to bottom and then back up again before he lets out a whistle that he knows will get him scolded, but he can’t help it. You’re pretty, he wanted to make sure he got a good look.

He hardly ever insists on driving himself, but when he does, it’s usually in the summer in a tiny two-seater with the top down that lets him feel the wind in his hair and he demands you join him in a duet of pop songs sung at the top of your lungs. When the wind gets too erratic (and you and Satoru have gotten far enough outside of the city that going as fast as he likes is somewhat acceptable), he’ll push his glasses up to act as a headband, and you get an even better view of his face, wide smile and crinkled eyes as he tries to hit notes way out of his range. And on your drive back, when the weather is calmer and the sun has set, Satoru once again entrusts his beloved glasses to you, finding time to snap pictures of you sleeping in the passenger seat at red lights.

Even though black frames are his preference, he has a slew of bright colors and unusual designs. Some he has just to have—collectables, my dear, he always reasons when you question their practicality. But some are just pretty. Though you think he looks good in his usual selection of rounder, black glasses, you can’t help but to be partial to a purple pair he owns, if not for the way the color looks against his hair and skin, then for the soft purple to blue gradient of the lenses that frame his eyes in such a lovely way. And even though the lenses are transparent enough so that you can still see his eyes when he’s wearing them, Satoru has caught on to your preference, and always makes sure to lean his glasses down far enough on his nose and spare you a wink when he puts them on.

i started making gifs in march this year, so january/february are off the table for this. it's funny that it hasn't even been a full year yet. it seems both somehow a lot longer and also like i remain some kind of photoshop baby at the same time. the images in this post will remain undescribed until i have some energy in my failing body, unfortunately
