Honey X Phelps
Book girlfriends who adopt a little genius bookworm >>>>
Watching Matilda The Musical (2022) made me think about how Miss.Honey adopts Matilda and how both her and the librarian Miss.Phelps are motherly figures to her. If the two had met they would get along well, probably. And maybe even fall in love 😊🏳️🌈. I ship them

While I understand that shitpost-y footnotes about titty pills are bound to have more notes than telling people about my book, it’s still a bit sad when the former gets 150k notes and the latter gets like 900. 😫

HIJAB BUTCH BLUES by LAMYA H.
Alright, changing it up a bit with my book stuff but this one hit home with me. The author draws very interesting parallels between stories in the Quran and her experiences as a gay muslim woman that are very interesting. And if you think you can’t be muslim and gay, or wear a hijab and be gay, or even tackle muslim culture and queerness in one, then you’re bound to be pleasantly proved wrong with this one.

Remember when I published this in a serious journal and everyone thought it was very funny?
Well, Gender/Fucking: The Pleasures and Politics of Living in a Gendered Body is basically where I stake my claim at being a depraved freak. 😉
