Before I know it, arms are reaching out of my chest towards him. A body follows, and before he knows it, he’s stuck stock still, held in this moment by a dark shape, hugged tightly and pinned in place.

“…Kei?”

My line of sight is blocked by my IBM, so Kai’s face isn’t visible to me in this moment, but he’s looking through an invisible creature and can see me plain as day.

“Is this your ajin voice power again? I’m paralyzed but I didn’t hear you scream.”

In a way, I think my heart WAS screaming, not in terror like before, but with a fierce hot emotion of need, want, love.

Let me take in this feeling, just a few milliseconds longer…

Finally I convinced my mind to release its grip, and once that was done, the IBM let go of Kai, little by little and reluctantly, and vanished on the wind as quickly as it had appeared.

I had an ochem test yesterday (haven't received the results yet), now I have another ochem test in a little less than two weeks... I can't wait to be done with this class. We had a substitute lab instructor last week though and she complimented my work which really did make ochem more bearable for those couple of hours.

• Completed two online tests today and studied some Anatomy. I tried working on the report for the first physics lab I did but there’s so much info I don’t have and things I don’t understand haha. I’ll try again tomorrow morning. Also studied at the library for the first time in a while.

• I always think that watching a cartoon during my study breaks and while I eat would make it easier to stop and get back to work. But anything becomes captivating once I have to study. I’m enjoying Ninjago way more than I did when I was a child lmao.

• The past few days have been filled with hail and the thickest clouds ever but the sun finally came through today. Not too excited about the impending heat though.

• I sketched a lot today and I enjoyed it more than I usually do. I even tried drawing with a pen, which I find very daunting, but I made the mistakes, moved on and tried again. Very proud of myself for not dwelling on it too much.

I think my most toxic trait as a Zenos enjoyer is wanting to 1v1 everyone who says that Zenos actively wants to kill his opponents

Like, completely disregarding that it is actively ignoring the text even in StB there (and that he consistently wants the WoL especially to live), he, uh, is written as having a desire for more the opposite to happen. Very, very consistently. His drive to live is solely linked to brief moments of pleasure-from-struggle and when that drops he explicitly wants to die so he can preserve the moment (and like. *looks at the end of 6.0* if he wanted to kill the WoL he would not be disappointed when they fall before the game allows it, nor would they have lived after given his will was strong enough to bring them back if they bite it). He wants struggle and lacks the ability to give enough of a shit to hold back if someone walks up and says they're going to go for his head.

Like, death is a side effect of what he's after, it's not the goal and he explicitly considers it a waste of life. Even fighting isn't the goal, the goal is to struggle, to need to put effort in. The WoL is just the only person to put him in that state as he currently is, hence his obsession.
