It’s not ableism. We should be cautious with custard b people when they have a famous streak of getting vindictive with people (we often perceive as innocent where they see a guilty party is a hallmark of ASPD; yes getting revenge for strange reasons -without logic- or believing someone is guilty where majority of normal people would perceive that person as innocent is a HALLMARK of ASPD and psychopathy).
And the symptoms: manipulative, deceitful, rash, manipulate for self benefit and entertainment, blameshifting, argumentative/starting arguments, law breaking, perceiving self as better than everyone else, acting above the laws and rules, having a streak of poor and abusive relationships, exploitative behaviors.
Autism has to do with sensory issues and not understanding social ques, ADHD has to do with attention and focus problems, these disorders are NOT the same disorders. Pedophiliac disorder for example had to do with wanting to rape children. Some disorders CAN be dangerous and it’s not stigma to recognize that.

i think simon does end up physically back to where he started, mostly because i really want to explore the idea of simon emotionally hurting himself by trying to draw a line between himself and ice king. because the thing is that even if hes physically back to normal, he still is mentally afflicted by the remains of magic insanity and all the memories of those 900 years. hes extremely forgetful. he loses his temper more easily than before, or will start crying for reasons beyond his understanding. his physical coordination isnt as good as it was before. he feels godawful when magic queen puts the daily checklist back on the wall, because hes normal now, why cant he just remember to eat every morning? why is he getting lost 2 blocks away from his own home? why is he losing his temper over incredibly mild things?
its about the internalized hatred for himself. cutting a piece of his own identity away because hes not as well as he once was. he was ice king for longer than he was simon, but he doesnt want to acknowledge that it is part of his history and identity. itd be easier if ice king was a stranger who took control of his body for a while.
and he really needs to come to terms with the fact that he IS ice king, ice king IS him, just a different phase of his life, because pushing that fact away is only hindering his recovery.

the amount of so-called “leftists” that believe that being Cluster B is evil, I just-
as someone who spends a lot of time in far-left spaces, the deep-seated ableism against Cluster B peeps is even in the most accepting spaces. They call all right-wingers psychopaths, call Trump a narcissist, say that BPD causes right wing ideology.
And one of the worst parts, I think, is that they will never see the error of their ways. If you try to correct them they double down. My mantra is literally “NCBs are really fucking protective of their insults.”
actual response I’ve gotten from saying that calling Trump a narcissistic sociopath is ableist:
“Fair enough! No need for downvoting this well thought out take on my description of who and what he represents. By definition he has displayed the signs of a sociopath and a narcissist. I don't mean it as an insult rather a matter of fact. I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist to diagnose anyone though I can rely on the opinions who are that would agree with my assessment within this thread.”
As it stands, it’s near impossible to exist as a Cluster Ber pretty much anywhere. Stigma against us is so normalized that calling it out makes us seem like the bad guys. It’s seen as reasonable or even smart to use the S and P slur against your political enemies.
And I honestly don’t see it getting better in the near future.
This, in my opinion, is why Cluster B spaces are so important. We need at least one place where we can just be ourselves without having to be closeted or constantly insulted. We need our own spaces because the ones that exist sure don’t want us.

this autism acceptance month I would like for everyone making posts/art to STOP using the rainbow infinity symbol to represent ONLY autism. The rainbow symbol is for ALL NEURODIVERGENTS. This includes disorders completely separate from autism such as Down Sydrome, ASPD, NPD, schizophrenia, Angelman Syndrome, and many other disabilities. It is not a symbol for autism in specific. The Autism Colors are red and gold (red for Red Instead, gold for AU)
Please use red and gold infinity symbols for when you talk about autism specifically, and save the rainbow symbol for when you talk about neurodiversity in general.

Unsurprising note, r/fakedisordercringe is extremely ableist about npd and openly uplifts the idea that npd = being an asshole, abuser, manipulator, etc
And also promotes the idea that a *real* narcissist would never admit to having npd... as if that isn't anti recovery as fuck....

cluster b culture is unintentionally outing your cluster b disorder when giving your input on one of your colleague’s suspicion of someone having bpd and correcting your other colleague’s use of ‘narcissistic’
(they were accepting and thanked me for sharing and correcting them lol)

it pains me to announce that if you got fucked over by someone with a mental illness and now you project that mental illness onto everyone mildly strange who you come into contact with
you too are MENTALLY ILL and you need to stop scapegoating others for your problems because you are the fucking problem.

"Cringe culture is dead" people when you're autistic in a way that isn't the UwU TikTok aesthetic, mentally ill in literally way that isn't Autism or ADHD or aesthetic/hard to romanticize, fat, have body hair, AMAB, poor, have a special interest that isn't My Little Pony or popular things from 2014, or non white:

This is going to make me sound like a horrible person but. Was anyone else weirdly comforted by the increased suicide rate for people w/ ASPD when they first found out?
like, obviously it’s a tragedy, but… I was in the middle of a spiral of oh my god I might have ASPD my life is over I’m horrible when I found that out, and like. I was seriously considering killing myself, and something about the fact that even if I do kill myself, I won’t be the only person with this who has was just. It was honestly a lifesaver, just the reassurance that I’m not alone. Other people have felt this way. Idk.

you are entitled to a beautiful and wacky understanding of how things work best for you! you are the expert of your own experience and ✨being mentally ill does not invalidate that✨
