I really hope all women who still buy into the trans nonsense wake up.
Trans people hate feminism. Trans people hate women. By definition.

It's ridiculous that in fiction, women are criticized for being angry and bitter and brutal and exhibiting typical masculine traits that would be praised in a man (cough Nesta cough), but they'll also criticize a woman for being gentle and refined and emotionally balanced and exhibiting typical feminine traits by calling them "useless" with "no personality" (cough Elain cough). Reflective of how women are treated in real life. Called selfish for wanting a full time job while also called useless when they choose to stay at home and look after the house. Women can't win here. #patriarchy

“I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest” (Rev. 6 ; 1-8 NIV)
“And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.”

Started watching the Musketeers (2014, on Prime) recently bc I had a lot of free time on a roadtrip across the US. I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it- I love it period-pieces/historical stuff, but I tend to unintentionally have a specific taste in stuff that I'll continue watching on my own time.
But I am not exaggerating when I say that I don't have the words to convey just how much I absolutely love the show.
I'll probably bullet-list my favourite bits about it some other day, but I'm watching season 1 again, and I thought i should share my favourite line from the show.
Context: a woman (Comtesse) who advocates for women's education is being put on trial bc 17th France has a toxic patriarchy, but it particularly stems from the King's advisor (played by Peter Capaldi- I know! : D ) in this show. The Queen of France comes in right as the woman is sentenced to death for "being a witch and consorting with the devil", and essentially pardons her.
Comtesse stands to leave the court, and looks the king's advisor directly in the eye.
Comtesse: I have never consorted with the Devil unti this moment. I am looking at him.
And then- completely outside of Comtesse, the king's advisor starts choking on poison lol

"Never in history has violence been initiated by the oppressed. How could they be the initiators, if they themselves are the result of violence? How could they be the sponsors fo something whose objective inauguration called forth their existence as oppressed? There would be no oppressed had there been no prior situation of violence to establish their subjugation." - Paulo Freire, Pedagogy of the Oppressed.

I know Beyoncé said that "girls run the world" but I will choose to differ on this.
Because girls do not run the world, currently, as I sit here writing this in November 2023. Despite that song being released in 2011.
Girls haven't run the world for a very long time.
But they fucking should.
And not only should girls be running the world, women should be running the world.
And men can come on here and argue that our "hormonal changes" and "periods" make us unfit to rule, but I have yet to see a single woman not work through her immense pain when going through periods to get the job done (look it up MEN, look up how your fellow men are affected by period pains and then tell me we shouldn't be complaining), I have yet to see a woman in politics who changed her stance because of her "hormonal changes", I have yet to see a mother deciding "on a whim" that she will no longer care for her children because of "how she feels that day."
But you know what I have been, and am currently, seeing?
Men acting like absolute TODDLERS at the United Nations or on national TV when talking about politics. Men being in absolute HYSTERICS over people having rights that are the same as his own because he doesn't think they should have (with no actual legal or moral merit on that opinion)
Men who rage at marginalized groups because they suddenly feel less than or insecure. Men who RAGE at women, going as far as killing them, because said women do not want them.
And you know what I learned today, from a source that I am not even personally affiliated with? You know what I learned from a female JUDGE in my country today when I went to a briefing as a future jury member?
She excused her wording during her lecture because she kept saying "him" when addressing the accused in a court - but then said "I'm sorry, it's just that the wildly majority of people we see going on trial for crimes are men, that's why I keep saying that."
The court system sees it. The law sees it. We see it in politics. Women see it.
Men are the god damn issue, each and every time.
Imagine the crime rate if men didn't feel the outright fucking entitlement they do.
Imagine the crime rate if men COULD JUST FUCKING CONTROL THEIR GOD DAMN EMOTIONS LIKE WOMEN CAN.
WE GET EMOTIONAL TOO, YOU KNOW. WE GET EMOTIONAL AND OUTRIGHT ANGRY ALL THE TIME. BUT EVEN WHILE ON OUR FUCKING PERIODS, EVEN WHEN OUR HORMONES GO NUTS, WE DO NOT GO OUT KILLING AND RAPING INNOCENT PEOPLE.
SO WHO IS THE REAL PROBLEM HERE????
THE EVIDENCE SPEAKS FOR ITS FUCKING SELF.
ABOLISH THE PATRIARCHY. IT'S DONE LITERALLY NOTHING GOOD FOR ANYONE BESIDES MEN. EVER.

Just watched Barbie. No wonder conservative men are mad about it. It's hard for them to be in a woman's shoes for 2 hours. Even if they're Birkenstock.

Imagine being today years old and finding out "Who Let the Dogs Out" is about women responding to being catcalled and pressured at parties.
Honestly, we should bring back saying "Who Let the Dogs out" in response to men being gross.

Bible verses for people struggling with the Patriarchy/Theocracy #3:
Context: this verse comes during a discussion about divorce, where Jesus just said that although Moses gave instructions for divorce, it *really* isn’t supposed to be a thing (barring sexual immorality — although do note that the maternal bloodline of the messiah includes Tamar, who fucked her husband’s dad as a prostitute) in response to a group of Torah teachers trying to trap him.
This is what he says immediately afterward:
“The talmidim [Jewish term for disciples] said to [Jesus], ‘If that is how things are between husband and wife, it would be better not to marry!’ He said to them, ‘Not everyone grasps this teaching, only those for whom it is meant. For there are different reasons why men do not marry — some because they were born without the desire, some because they have been castrated, and some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Whoever can grasp this, let him do so.” - Matthew 19:10-12.
Moral: Asexuality and/or Aromantic people are explicitly biblical.

"It was always the same story, she thought tiredly. Just small, angry men, clinging to fading power. They feared living without privilege because they'd abused it against others, and were now terrified of suffering the same cruelty they'd routinely dealt out."
