I’ve been seeing a rising trend of people trying to tame coyotes and even worst, trying to breed and sell coyotes/coydogs as pets and I’m about to start throwing hands.

also. i feel bad complaining but as much as i love thasmin and that they’re doing it, i genuinely rlly am not a fan of the execution so far. at points 13 came off not as awkward or unaware but as literally a bit mean. the “not a bad date!” gag just. wasn’t great.

i hate the way when yaz asked dan whether he outed her feelings (which was awful of him!! it was really really bad!! and i hate that they played it as a good friend move when she made clear to him she wasn’t ready!!) he just breezed past it without answering and asked what the doctor had said.

i hate the way they retconned out the doctor’s previously established character development in order to put a roadblock in the way of a relationship that only has an episode left to go anywhere. the doctor essentially says if i did the whole romance thing i would do it with you but i can’t because i can’t have things like that i can’t get attached i can’t be human like that so let’s just be friends, and i’m like. yeah this is such a sad and self destructive barrier the doctor has with their sense of self/pseudo-humanity/what love they can have or deserve. what a shame no one has already spent several seasons deconstructing that. christopher, sir, did you watch husbands of river song? or like. any of season 8 and 9? bc i’m not certain u did (hell, i actually cannot think of a 12 season that didn’t have an arc about accepting eventual loss and grief being part of what allows u to love fully)

just like. yeah i love thasmin. and i also really wish they had better writing.
