I do not like cross-fandom fics or crossovers in general but,, BUT,, if it happened to be X files and Criminal Minds (and mayhaps Supernatural 👀👀), I would read it SO quick. And bc Mulder used to profile serial killers under the behavioral science unit at Quantico, it would be PERFECT BASIS FOR A CM CROSSOVER!!! Ex profiler teams up with current profilers for a case that involves and/or could count as an X file?? OHH unsolved serial killing case re-examined and discovered to fit with an X file so both teams called in?? And along the way they find brothers Sam and Dean suspicious and they seem fucking crazy but Mulder and Scully are like "no wait,, wait,, 🤨🤨🤨 they've got a point" and the bau just like ??? Cause these people seem batshit insane cause they're talking about monsters and aliens, but it works!!! And the criminal is under some other worldly influence, but that's just how it goes. Ohhhh, Mulder and Reid would love and hate each other bc they'd find the other so interesting and funny even, but they'd disagree on everything. Scully and JJ would be good friends, I think. Ahh this is turning kinda cringey I apologize but I've been thinking about this for a while hahah (I just started s2 of X files and s12(?) of CM)

When are we gonna learn to stop supporting and signal boosting people who have happily co-run servers with racists, treated POC like disposable assets to facilitate their own ego (and guard themselves from accusations of racism), and used instances of fandom racism to attempt to act like the moral authority on these matters (because being self-appointed ruler of their little corner of fandom is clearly not enough fandom power, gotta throw some white saviourism into it too)?

Having seen @madneyforever's 'apology' post, it's clear that they have never learnt a single lesson and most likely won't from this incident (of their creation) either, but other people hopefully will.

It's funny how Minecraft now has these ancient ruins that you can excavate and you can find remains of a bygone civilization and their art and looms and such.

And right next to them you can find the stereotypical racist "jungle temple" with traps and nothing else of cultural value.

A brief demonstration of one use-case for editable behaviour trees for the purposes of sandbox automation, featuring a fox.

The tree used in this demonstration is 15 nodes in total, which is relatively small. It primarily consists of only two behaviours: retrieving up to 8 fuel whenever its hands are empty and the lamp is on, and cycling through the furnaces giving them 1 fuel each. Otherwise, it waits at its initial position.

The lamp itself only serves as an indicator that enough fuel is present to retrieve, which ensures the fox distributes it evenly. Beyond that, the fox's behaviour tree is entirely responsible for the automation demonstrated.

In this particular implementation, the number of furnaces is entirely arbitrary and the tree can handle as many furnaces as the fox can hold fuel. The only thing that would need to be changed is the contents of the Furnace Array variable, the tree would handle everything else.

Without the fox, this particular automation problem would necessitate dozens of ticking tile entities (in the form of hoppers) and significantly-complex wiring dependent upon discrete knowledge of the game engine.
