Chapter 3: Simon

After doing the dishes, you moved yourself over to the living room and turned on the TV. Some rerun of an older season of Law and Order was playing.

You started watching but you found your eyes drifting back to your phone…

Against your better judgement, you clicked on the Tinder app icon again. Maybe, maybe you should swipe just a little more.

And so you did.

Today you said ‘Fuck you, Beyoncé’ and always went to the Right, to the Right.

Just as you were pondering another profile, the screen darkened with a ‘It’s a Match!’ notification, making you jump a bit, as usual.

You clicked the profile and your brow scrunched.

You didn’t remember liking this one… Though you obviously did, after all, you were liking everyone.

The only picture wasn’t even anything. It was dark and grainy and the man was wearing a black disposable face mask. If that even was him. Could just be a random picture off-Google, picked by someone who wanted to be anonymous. Not quite a catfish but close enough…

“Simon.” You said softly and dragged your finger through the screen to read his bio. For a moment you couldn’t help but smirk a little. He was sarcastic, a bit strange, but charismatic in his own way.

“Bad jokes, Bourbon, Discreet…” You mused while scanning his profile. “Tall enough.” You read aloud and couldn’t help but laugh at it. That made you feel like he was short.

Against your better judgement for the second time, you decided to send him a DM instead of waiting for him to. Something told you he wouldn’t.

you: tall enough - does that mean you’re below 6ft?

Simon: No.

Simon: Means that I have inches to spare.

you: was that a dick joke?

Simon: No.

Simon: Unless you wanted it to be.

You snorted softly under your breath. Of course he was a smart ass too…

you: ambiguous, i like it.

you: so how tall are you then?

Simon: Does it matter?

you: no. just curious.

Simon: 6ft4.

you: that feels like a lie.

Simon: I avoided putting it for a reason.

you: worried people would call you a liar?

Simon: No use. Going to be called it regardless.

you: that’s fair ig.

you: what’s a traveling consultant?

Simon: Similar to a contractor. Get brought in to help businesses all over the world.

you: what kind of businesses?

Simon: That’s need-to-know.

you: you type so formally and professionally jeez.

you: will i ever get to know?

Simon: Force of habit. Don’t text a lot.

Simon: Not if I can help it.

you: somehow i can tell.

you: what are you doing here then?

Simon: Curiosity mostly.

you: trying to see if you attract any fish? 👀

Simon: Something like that. A friend is on here. Wanted to see what all the fuss is about.

you: i see.

you: got anything yet?

Simon: No. But only created this 12 minutes ago.

you: am i your first then?

Simon: Not my first in anything, love.

Your eyes widened a bit and for some reason you found yourself getting a bit flustered, your face warming up just a bit.

you: does that mean you’ve hooked up with people through a dating app before?

Simon: Something of the sorts.

you: aw, im really not going to be your first.

Simon: That’s alright. You can come see me either way.

Simon: I’m sure you’ll find some other thing to be the first at.

Your breath got caught in your throat and you started sputtering. That came out of left field! He had gone from professional and mild-mannered to… flirty so quickly! Gulping, you tried to answer him with something coherent and funny.

you: idk what if you murder me?

Simon: I promise I won’t.

you: is that meant to be enough to convince me? 🤨

Simon: I’ll leave all my guns at home.

you: the fact you have more than one is not reassuring the way you think it is.

Simon: If it makes it any better, I wouldn’t need a gun to kill you.

Even though you don’t know this man, you can imagine that he’s laughing to himself behind his phone screen, all smug, thinking he’s funny. And, the worst part, is that he is.

you: reassuring. thanks.

Simon: Glad to be of service.

you: i think what makes it worse is that uve not got a pic of ur face.

Simon: Wouldn’t hook up with a bloke with his face covered?

you: no? are u trying to get me axe murdered? bc thats how u get axe murdered simon

Simon: LOL.

Simon: No.

you: u sure? a masked face with a mysterious job and a suspicious amount of guns… sounds like the upgraded version of ghostface… except online rather than over the phone.

Simon: I’ll take that as a compliment.

Simon: You’re funny.

Simon: I like that.

you: thanks.

Simon: Wondering if you’re that funny in real life or if you’d get all shy on me.

you: probably a mix of both.

Simon: How about we confirm that then?

Simon: Meet up with me for drinks. No pressure on time or place. You can even postpone if it comes down to it. My job is unpredictable enough so I might have to postpone too.

Your eyes widened. The first attempt at flirting from him, of inviting you for a shag, had been clearly sarcastic… But this one is genuine.

you: ill get back to u on that, is that okay?

Simon: No sweat.

Simon: And if you’re just being polite and not actually going to text me again then: This was fun. Enjoyed myself. Take care.

You bit your lip to suppress a smile when you saw his polite goodbye. He was… sweet, weirdly enough.

High School! Nanami headcanons

(emo nanami x gn! reader)

A/N: If no one else is gonna pump out emo kento content ig I’ll do it :/

Gets teased constantly about being emo (mainly by his peers Gojo, Geto, Haibara, etc.) It’s all in good fun and it doesn’t really get to him but when he catches feelings for you it makes him wonder if he’d be your type.

He wonders if you’d like boys like him because he’s noticed that outgoing fun guys like Gojo are typically seen as more attractive.

You’re oblivious to his crush on you because he’s always quiet unless he has something worth saying. But Haibara noticed immediately because…

Nanami is usually quiet but does small gestures that show his true feelings towards someone. Like whenever you talk Nanami gives you his full attention but when you look at him he immediately turns away and just nods. Haibara notices this and giggles about it.

YU HAIBARA NUMBER #1 WINGMAN

He’s always telling Nanami to shoot his shot w you!

H: “C’mon I’ll set up a date and everything! We could go to a cafe [as a group of 3] but then I’ll lie and say I left my stove on or something. Then I’ll leave and it would just be the two of you!”

Nanami says it’s the stupidest idea he’s ever heard (but he considers it for days.)

He doesn’t try to flirt with you because he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable (but he practices what to say to you in the mirror and Haibara caught him one time 💀)

NK: “So um, Y/N, what… kind of music do you like?” He mumbles to the mirror, awkwardly fixing his hair. He tries to imagine your response in his head.

“Oh, I love the same music as you, Ken! Take me to a concert so we can rave and make out!” Haibara teases from the doorway, making his voice high pitched. He wraps his arms around himself and makes kissing sounds.

Nanami threw a pillow at him and jumped him.

But when he is alone with you…

For example, if it’s just you two on a mission, he’ll try to make small talk even though he hates it.

He’ll bring up anything he knows you like (shows, movies, music, etc.) because even if he knows nothing about it, he likes watching the way you light up when you talk about your interest.

If you’re walking next to each other and your hands touch he won’t visibly react but he will scream internally.

If you flirt with him even as a joke, he won’t know how to react and he will blush like crazy. His face will be so red you’ll ask if he’s having an allergic reaction.

Constantly fights the urge to look at any part of you

Finally confessing…

If you confess first:

He’ll ask if you’re joking. Even if you confirm that you’re not, he’ll ask 10 more times.

He’ll start to smile but quickly cover the corner of his mouth with the neck of his uniform jacket.

He finally makes eye contact with you and softly says “I like you too.”

He’d like to kiss you on the spot, but thinks it’d be more romantic to wait for the first date.

Instead, he asks to hold your hand. When you accept, he holds it tightly, wondering how he got so lucky.

If he confesses first…

It would probably be after a long mission. It’s late at night and you’re both pretty beat.

You’d be covered in scratches and cuts, bleeding lightly. But to Nanami, you’re still the most beautiful person he’s ever seen.

Without thinking, he’d reach forward and wipe a drop of blood from your chin.

When you ask him why he did that, he’d just shrug and give a small tired smile. He’s usually stoic, but how could he not smile after a job well done?

And in all honesty, he’s just glad he didn’t lose you.

It’s late and you’re both exhausted, so he suggests going to a local bakery he loves and insists that he’ll pay.

It doesn’t matter if you order a pastry or a sandwich, he’s happy to treat you.

On the walk back to campus, he watches as you eagerly chow down on whatever he bought you. He decides to use whatever adrenaline he has left to confess his feelings for you.

NK: “Hey, there’s something that’s… been on my mind for a while. I’ve tried to ignore it but, it’s pretty difficult to do when it’s about someone like you.”

He rambles on how about how much he likes you. His words sound like a poet but they’re basically verbatim with the lyrics of his favorite song.

Once he’s done he goes quiet and looks at you. “So… what do you think? I don’t expect you to feel the same, but if you do…”

When you tell him you feel the same, his knees go weak. He can’t even believe the words you’re saying.

“I’ve always liked you, Kento.” You laugh, placing a hand on his arm.

“You’re lying.” Nanami’s eyes are wide with surprise.

“I’m not, I swear! I thought I made it obvious. Even Haibara noticed.”

“He what.”

got an insane fashion sense. calls you before hang outs to confirm if his outfit is hitting or nah. always consumes social media but insists he'll never post, and if he does, it'll be deleted by the next week. started out super excited for ig but now has a black pfp with no posts. begs you to get the apps he uses, telling you it'll be, “funnn pleasee!!!” really flirty. isn't aware of how hard he's gatekeeping his looks until he gets a few compliments for being photogenic (which he's super shy about when he realizes it's not a joke !!!). has a skincare and haircare routine, well groomed and good at whatever he does.

if platonic— your hype man. begs you to send him everything you know about the person you're interested in. finesses his way into getting you an inside scoop. happens to know a lot of people and always introduces you to new people. doesn't share his food unless you beg for it, but really easily convinced because he's a people pleaser. tells you he's okay with everything but has a very visually expressive face— so you can tell what the poor boy's thinking the entire time. insists he's okay with your choices (like a place to eat or something) even if he isn't. gets upset when you post without sending him the pics beforehand.

if romantic— ghosts. no sugar coating, (accidentally) ghosts. overthinks everything, tries to make it look he's not overly interested, but accidentally ends up not speaking forever and it makes it worse. slides up on your stories instead of just liking it a lottt. compares you to attractive popular characters in cartoons & shows to boost your mood. a lot of touches !!! hand grazing, shoulder bumping, pushing, shoving, arm wrestling, YOU NAME IT !!!! got you covered on money too, running less? he's got u.

gets super quiet when overstimulated, follows you around like a silent puppy. holds your hand, super shy. you see him droop his head while he's sitting down, falling asleep, and you let him rest his head on your shoulder. gets super happy at that, cuddles up to your arm and hides his face w his hand when you ask him, “you okay?” loves it when you hold his hand. gets his heart beating all crazy but he's so tired n dizzy he doesn't say a word.

CHOI SOOBIN

a sweetie. but also super dumb. always up to no good. face timing his friends saying he'll be late to the meetup because his car fell into a ditch. kind of gullible, can't tell if you're being genuine or just joking. asks you if you, “really meant it?” and you have to assure the dumbass that you were just joking. and then, he breathes in and starts laughing so loud 😭😭

asks you if it's okay to make an inappropriate joke because he doesn't want to offend you. and you have to remind him that you've been friends forever, of course he can. and he sucks in a breath, shy and telling you it didn't matter— he needed to get confirmation. again, like yeonjun, finesses his way into doing you favors. once you couldn't sign up for an extra class on time and lost your opportunity— and he goes out of his way to talk to the professor, and doesn't back down until you're in. again, your wingman, giving you high fives everytime you tell him how you made a smooth move on your crush. makes a lot of puns— whispers the stupidest jokes ab being single to you during class and gives you a fist bump after the both of you are struggling to breathe.

and his fashion sense, he's the greatest shopping partner !!! gets drinks with you first, then the both of you go around talking about crush issues and how people are so difficult to communicate with sometimes !! grabs about 5 different tops and asks you to stand in front and place each one over your body. then tilts his head, and either says yes or no. gets super excited when he sees something that'll compliment you a lot, and forces you to try it on. when you ask him how he knows so much about women's clothing and style, he says, “dude, I got like two older sisters right it's just. I know.”

once you were rush shopping when you two had to 1. buy clothes during peak sale season for his sisters, you & him, 2. grab food for about five people, and 3. make it to the car to be on your way to a friend meetup. all in 30 minutes. you've never seen such a tall guy push you towards the counter (which had a line of about 17 people !?!?), run around a store grabbing clothes and throw them at you, and then run out to the food court.

and then, he called you right before your turn, asking you, “WHAT THE FUCK WERE EVERYONE'S ORDERS!?!?” and you yelled at him, “DUDE!? WHAT WERE DOING FOR THE LAST 10 MINUTES.” and he yelled back with a, “LOOKING FOR THE BATHROOM. THE WORKERS ARE STARING AT ME CAN YOU TELL ME EVERYONE'S ORDERSSSS!?!?” in his hurry, he forgot to mention the order was a take out, so then he was hurriedly stuffing everyone's food into take out bags and really close to tears.

in the end, you two made it in time with so many shopping bags, everyone in the mall was wondering what the fuck two teenagers were running towards the exit like they were being chased.

but if he got a crush on you— he's the most observant person ever. has a type but says he's okay with everything. notices the smallest details ever, like which part of your face lights up first when you're about to smile, or your fav fruits or what you like to do in your free time. socially awkward so he doesn't know how to talk to you. his height got him towering over every one, doesn't realize it's a perk because he's so tall !!!!!! asks his friends to tag along when he wants to hang out with you because he can't bear being alone with you. compliments you— then asks you right after if that was okay or too personal?

cheery, super corny, always giggling. asks if you two can get food, but right after, follows it up with how two more people will also be there because he doesn't want it to be weird. but then, realizes he might have over shared that info, so he's gushing with a blush and telling you “not that I don't want to be alone with you!!!” but that also sounds so suspicious, so he just shuts up. and you have to tell him with a giggle that you get it, don't worry. and he gives u a grateful smile, pressing his lips together and smacking your arm a bit.

CHOI BEOMGYU

nothing like the people he talks to— is somehow the bestest of friends with them. everyone's (self proclaimed) chauffeur, he's always driving people everywhere. just needs an excuse to drive in big cars (not even his....) and takes a lot of selfies. every pic of him with his friends is either him kissing their cheek, or being the one who's getting kissed.

fashionably late to hang outs. tells everyone its cuz he got lost. calling everyone with a lot of traffic in the back, saying, “GUYS WHAT WAY CAN YOU SEND YOUR LIVE LOCATIONS.” is the unemployed friend meme. always calling people randomly on a Tuesday afternoon and being like “I'm lost....” and he's fucking hours away.

once you all had decided to drive over towards a water park that opened up about two hours away from the city, and boy, was he excited. “IM DRIVING. FUCK OFF NO, IM DRIVING.” slaps people's wrist if they reach over to change the music. doesn't let anyone but his bestie (aka taehyun) change the music. his car takes all da bois 🫦🤟🔥 is also the reason da bois are lost.

gets to the place an hour late. and tells NO ONE. you all walk into the hut you rented and see beomgyu and his boys hogging all the food, under the impression they haven't even arrived. mouth stuffed, blinking and whining to defend himself after he was caught in the act, “YOU GUYS WERE HAVING FUN, I— WE THOUGHT WE COULD HAVE A BITE!!!!!” he paid for everyone's meals that day.

super protective and flirty. lives to see the expression on your face after he teases you constantly. smacks your head from the back, blows raspberries at you, frowns at you rudely, tells you that you smell like shit. but doesn't know what to do if you get upset from his words— whispers that he didn't actually mean it, and you're one of the prettiest people he knows, and that he's sorry & he'll never do it again, and that he never intended to hurt you— you just looked super cute angry at him, and asks you over and over if you've forgiven him and promises he'll never do it again. and when you finally agree, he doesn't leave your side, always trying to cheer you up or something, gives up his food to you or throws in a compliment here or there, or playfully hypes you up.

is actually super passionate too, so if you're dating him, be prepared for a lot of pda !!!! (if ur ok with it, ofc) grabs your shoulders from the back and asks you, lips against your ear, if you got your hair done. from a simple hand in your back pocket to a hand around your shoulder, beomgyu loved to feel you near him. always brushing his long hair out of his eyes, has a habit of biting his lips as he playfully pinches your shoulder, teasing you, “you can't pinch me harderrr— OW! Y/N, Y/N, STOP— OWWW!!”

he's the type to give partner privilege, if no one is allowed to touch the music in his car— well, you're an exception. always picking fights with people he doesn't know, has you pulling him, “shut up!!!! you're embarrassing!!!!” always asking you if you'd go to the party with him, squeezes you in even if you're not on the list bc he got links with everyone.

really protective of those he cares about because he knows how people can be, and their intentions. once, he was standing there awkwardly while you were comforting your friend because of her stupid asshole of an ex, who won't stop driving up to her house to scare her. beomgyu promised that he wouldn't let that happen to her again, “any friend of y/n's, I gotchu.”

forced said ex to make an apology video where beomgyu and his friends stood behind the camera, holding a script for the ex to read. “‘and to (friend's name) and y/n, I'm so—’ I am not saying that.” and beomgyu bent forward, “what did you say? say that again.”

and the ex, distressing, held his hands up front as beomgyu got closer, “OKAY MAN. FINE !!! ‘(friend's name) AND Y/N. IM SORRY, IM SO SO SORRY, MWWWWAH!!!!’ HAPPY?”

and you could hear beomgyu and his friends chuckle from behind the camera as they picked up the phone, “yeah, that kiss was the greatest idea ever. wait til I send y/n this.”

IDK how much of this to consider spoilers for Trolls Band Together, so I'm doing all of it!

♠️ - ♣️ - ♥️ - ♦️ SPOILERS FOR BAND TOGETHER ♠️ - ♣️ - ♥️ - ♦️

Y'know, Branch's purple haired brother who's my favorite of his brothers for a few different reasons that I'm about to spew onto Tumblr at an unreasonable hour?

Okay so, Bruce is my favorite, and I think it's bullshit that the wiki calls him Spruce despite that not being his name anymore.

Trans headcanon? Maybe. Anyways!

I love how Bruce is written for many different reasons, I also love how he's handled when it comes to his body type.

1 minute before going on stage, JD says he expects 100 more crunches before show-time, which is insane considering Bruce (I know that's not his name at this point, but that is what we're calling him) has already done over 500, and 100 crunches in 60 seconds? I don't think that's even possible.

Ofc this is who JD is as a character, BUT THIS POST ISN'T ABOUT HIM, he's just a walking ick.

I can't imagine this kind of treatment, which is implied to have gone on for quite some time...

...would give anybody a positive view of their body. I'm not going to add things on to make JD a worse person, even if I don't like him, but from what bits and pieces we do see, he puts more emphasis on Bruce's physical body than any of his other brothers.

For his other brothers, it's more about their clothing and personality presentation. Bruce? The emphasis was his body, abs specifically.

It's not like he wasn't proud of them, but I feel as if they were another thing that still connected him to JD. All the brothers changed things about themselves that JD put emphasis on (Except Floyd, ig?).

But I'm straying away from the point I was trying to get to.

By the time we see Bruce again, he's lost the abs and put on some weight. However, this is not treated as a bad thing. Which I absolutely adore.

He's still perceived as attractive!! No jokes about "letting himself go" or even any jokes about putting on weight because he got married or whatever.

He's not muscular anymore, he's more laid-back and lives on VACATION ISLAND FOR FUCKS SAKE! He doesn't appear to have such a rigorous work-out routine anymore... Except his kids. I'd say having children 3 times your size would be intense.

Speaking of his children...

THIS MAN HAD THIRTEEN CHILDREN??? My man, why

But I digress.

Also, not only is him being plus-size not treated as a joke or a negative thing, but

HE STAYS THAT WAY!

Genuinely he makes me so happy, you guys have no idea. I love him.

Anyways, some smaller tid bits that I love about Bruce~

Hi! So you can call this a rant or a vent or whatever I don't rlly care - I just wanted to put some of my opinions out there bc it is eating me inside out to keep my opinions on Alastor's sexuality and all of the discourse about him being shipped to myself.

Also i'd like to state that I'm writing this as someone who is aroace but has no actual wish to be in a romantic relationship and actually struggles to so much as picture what that's be like for myself. I would also like to state how I'm not speaking for the whole community and others will have different opinions to myself.

Firstly - aroace is a spectrum (as someone who is on the aroace spectrum btw) and I completely agree with ppl who say that it is a spectrum and shipping has always existed and you can't rlly stop an entire fandom. My only problem is when ppl completely ignore that he is aroace while doing this, bc to me it seems like there's so much potential to having him have to go through those types of emotions and to write him off as if he's completely allo not only can make some people feel unseen but also just isn't as fun.

Also I kind of believe that he'd possibly date someone for the entertainment - like even if he didn't exactly feel romantic attraction maybe he'd be willing to be around someone closely bc he might like the reactions he'd be getting. (example: he might've stayed in a relationship with Vox maybe not out of pure attraction but if he found out that affection could make the TV short-circuit? He'd be interested)

Adding to that, I personally do not actually ship him with anyone romantically due to his character + the fact that I am projecting my own distaste for romance on him but you do you ig.

Also, on the note of nsfw around him - sometimes you cannot stop a fandom, rule 34 exists and some people who are asexual sometimes may want to have sex and all of that stuff. Personally I think he'd probably be sex-repulsed due to the fact that he canonically has issues with being touched.

ALSO, i personally think that way too many people are brushing over the idea of putting Alastor in a QPR - like that would literally be so awesome.

Alastor x Rosie? Cute af (to me Rosie gives of aro vibes too, but more romance - favourable) like they're already besties and honestly I think that Rosie would defo help him figure out about his identity considering that he's quite obviously not all that sure about slang and stuff.

Vox x Alastor - It has the potential to be SO FUCKING FUN like, you get to experiment with how they feel for each other, maybe what Alastor's got going on bc he died before being aroace was rlly a thing and he'd be confused about how he felt about Vox for sure.

Lucifer x Alastor - I quite like it, ik that Lucifer is supposed to be with Lillith but she did take an extremely long hiatus on her family up in heaven so i think it's okay. Plus the idea of them bonding and becoming close due to Charlie is wonderful.

Even angel and Alastor - maybe after Val Angel doesn't want a super sexual relationship - maybe he's not all that interested in something purely romantic either and though I love huskerdust this would still be pretty cool.

Really all I'm saying is; be considerate. Incorporate the fact that Alastor is Aroace, even if you do ship him - in or out of QPRs - and ofc sometimes writing someone who is part of a group ur not in is difficult (coming from someone who often struggles in writing especially when it comes to romance) but taking a crack at it might actually turn out to be rlly cool.

But please don't ignore his aroace-ness, there's not a huge amount of aroace characters out there and acting like someone isn't can be annoying for ppl who want to find rep around their identity, esp if they haven't seen much before (I can relate and he was one of the first aroace characters I was introduced to after I found out what it meant).

Tonight you and your friends were cramped in a small hot bathroom doing makeup, hair & all of the above for a party. One girl doing lashes, one girl doing her lip liner, one girl doing her nails & another taking pictures and controlling the playlist

“Y’all my nigga just texted me to come on so let’s start heading out” one of your other girlfriends shouted from in the living room, and after a few minutes everyone was in the car taking videos and lip syncing music for tonight’s ig story

By the time you walked in you were already unamused. Hood niggas standing in the corner on their phones, other dudes trying to get behind girls and failing miserably, groups of people who looked half awake still trying to dance. So you fell behind and sat at the bar listening to other people’s conversations when a different boy caught your eye

A tall 6,5 darkskin was sitting on the complete opposite side of the bar on his phone, his wicks were slightly short, and laid down his head that made them shaped almost like an Afro. His jewelry and piercings caught your attention, silver jewelry lining his eyebrows and fingers. Plus the way he dressed was so attractive, different from almost everyone else in the room

While admiring his beauty a airdrop came through your phone with the name “unknowns iPhone” curiously you accepted it

And while trying to figure out who the person was you felt a shadow towering over you before he sat down

“Boy your not from New York don’t play wit me right now” you said rolling your eyes

“Yea, I’m from London. Visiting a friend out here right now. Want a drink?”

You each talked for a minute on each others interests, allowing you both to have a flourishing conversation because surprisingly you both had a lot in common. He had piercings, you did too. You both loved music, spray painting your art and opinions on every wall in your city, and you both also shared love for different types accessories and clothing

After about an hour he asked if you wanted to go to another spot, just you and him. Your heart slightly froze in anxiety but there was some type of safety in his eyes. So you texted the group chat

“Hey y’all, met this boy at the bar and he wants to take me to another spot. Keep y’all ringers on”

“Okay girllll !!! Is he fine 🌚”

“Leaving us to get some dick is crazyyyy 😒”

You hopped into his car and listened to the music while hanging your head out the window. You felt a hand on your thigh and you looked at him kind of surprised. You brushed it off when you realized you didn’t mind it at all in the first place

“Nahhh you chillin” you felt his large hand start creeping higher and higher up your thigh while he kept his other hand on the wheel speeding up every time you looked at him. By the time you felt like saying something bold, you were at the spot that wasn’t really a spot. You were at the Brooklyn bridge

“You trust me?” And before you could say anything he was carrying you in one hand wedding style using his other hand to shoot webs, bringing you to the top of the bridge

After the rush of literally flying through the air went away. You asked him a few questions

“What was that?!!”

“Why is there white stuff coming out your arms?”

And before you could ask him your last question he made a stupid joke

“I can make white stuff come out of somewhere else y’kno” he smirked

After smacking him on the back of the head you asked him your last question

“What made you want to tell me you have super powers? Especially like that..”

After seeing you shivering in your mini tee and skirt, he wrapped his large, heavy pin decorated vest around you and pulled you into his chest with his arm as you both watched the city. Light was escaping from every street. You also realized you probably wouldn’t have experienced seeing this in a lifetime if you didn’t meet him

“Don’t know, there’s something about you I kno’ I can love and take care of. So I’m not sweatin the spider man role right now” he said shrugging then resting his head on yours and playing in the curly ends of your locs

“You lucky you fine, I would have never even left the bar with any other boy” you said drawing along his stomach and chest feeling how chiseled he was under his shirt

“Just so you kno we date now” he said

“Boy your stupid it’s only been a few hours” you responded laughing and swinging your feet over the edge of the bridge

“I’m stupid? Yet your running your hands all over my body, yeah right”

Not realizing what you were doing you moved your hands immediately away from him a little shocked at what you were doing

Hi, its me again

I was wondering if you could do a platonic relationship with Luke and what the other characters react to that because they are like not very similar ig (also im sorry if this is too much)

It’s been god knows how long and I don’t really play either game anymore but I’m back and I’m doing all of the requests in my drafts

Also I wasn’t sure if you meant Child!MC or Adult!MC so I went with Child!MC. If you want me to do Adult!MC I will gladly do that tho. This one was fun

Platonic!Luke + Child!MC who aren’t very similar

MC and Luke. The best of buddies. How? No one knows. Opposites attract, I guess

Luke has always been very energetic, loud, opinionated, and cheerful. Overall a joy to be around

MC on the other hand. Very much keeps to themselves. Doesn’t really speak up, is kind of a chronic people pleaser, and it’s rare you ever see them smile. Not that they’re upset, they just don’t smile often

Luke and MC are pure opposites, but somehow their friendship works

Well for starters

He already likes them more

They’re quiet, they don’t cause much trouble, they do as he asks

They’re easy to manage

Plus them not being an angel doesn’t hurt

He was a little surprised that MC and Luke seemed to get along so well, but kids will be kids and honestly, as long as it doesn’t mean more paperwork for him, he doesn’t care

It is a little nice to see MC enjoying themselves tho

Mammon:

I think that Mammon would still attach himself to this MC pretty quickly

They’re a people pleaser and so it’s likely that they would go along with his schemes pretty easily

Plus they’re a great listener and we all know Mams needs someone to listen to him without being an asshole

Mammon already acts like an older brother to Luke so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind doing that for MC too

He’s overall just happy that the two of them are getting along and that they have someone to hang out with when he’s off doing something else

I can’t see him caring all that much to be honest

I think he’d prefer MC over Luke at the beginning, mostly just because they’re not likely to cause a mess in his room

But he ends up adoring both of them of course

I can see him being a little jealous at how quickly the two of them clicked

Not because he wants to be besties with Luke or MC

But because it was so fast and came so naturally

He wants a friendship like that

So I think he’d be kinda salty for a while

But eventually he’d get over it once he starts getting closer to the two of them himself

i wanna be yours -- 7. snap out of it

✦ - Y/N is a small business owner, offering her services not only as a designer but an at-home makeup artist and cosmetic producer as well. She's perfectly content with her small life when she's approached by the manager of the INARIZAKI band, asking for her to fill the position of backstage artist on short notice. Needing the money, and wanting the experience, Y/N agrees. Little does she know of the fatal attraction she will share with the band's lead, Suna Rintarou.

a/n: uh, hoping that this gets y'all back into my good graces. enjoy the little bit of filth you get in this one LMAO, content warning for making out ig?? anyways, please ignore the time at the top of the phone bc im too lazy to block it out. if time is important for texts than there will be a timestamp, or it will be explicitly stated.

8:32PM

You spot Rintarou's car pull up outside of your small apartment building. He remains in the car, but you already know he's looking for you. You stand from the park bench you were sitting on, and head over.

Pulling open the car door, you settle into the passenger seat. His car smells of fresh leather and his cologne, and you find it's a pleasant mix of smells. He looks to you, his hooded eyes dressed in dark black eyeliner. It was clear he'd done it himself, his own hand not nearly as skilled as your own. The thought of him trying to replicate your work in the mirror made you giggle.

"Hey," he greets, tilting his head as he takes in your appearance, "You look very pretty."

You find a small blush making its way onto your cheeks. You'd gone relatively simple, but still dressed up as he had told you to. You'd gone for a forest green silk satin slip dress, and some black strap heels. Your purse rested across your shoulders, filled with a few small cosmetics, your keys, and your phone. Along with some breath mints, just in case.

"You look rather handsome yourself, Rin," you compliment, noting the white blouse and black slacks. His shirt was partially unbuttoned at the top, and he had a silver chain around his neck and some silver rings glinting on his fingers. They were the same ones you'd given him for the concert.

Rintarou lets out a small huff, running a hang through his hair. The rest of the drive is relatively silent, soft music playing through the stereo. After about a ten minute drive, the two of you pull up outside of a very fancy restaurant.

Suddenly, you feel a little self-conscious about your outfit. All the other woman seemed to be more dressed up with you are, some of them having elbow gloves or fur coats. You take in deep breaths to calm your nerves as Rintarou rounds the car and opens the door for you.

"After you," he coos, a teasing smirk on his lips. You take his outstretched hand and close the door behind you. His fingers intertwine with yours, and he lifts the back of your hands to his lips and presses a quick kiss to your skin.

You bite down on your lip, tasting your lip gloss. "I didn't take you as the romantic type," you admit, as the two of you walk in.

"I didn't either. I guess you bring out another side of me," his words are clearly joking, but there's also a twinge of sincerity in his words. It does something to your heart, and you try your best to quell the rushing of your heartbeat in your ears.

Rintarou talks with the waiter, who didn't have much of a reaction to his presence. Either his place was frequented by famous people, or this person just didn't know or cared who he was. Actually, most of the people in here didn't, which you were kind of glad for. You never enjoyed being in the spotlight, that was why you were the behind-the-scenes artist.

The two of you are seated at a more reclusive table, tucked away in one of the corners with dim lighting and a small bouquet of flowers and a few candles between you.

"This is a wonderful place, Rin," you gush, unable to keep from admiring it. The roof was glass, open to the night sky. The moon shined above, providing additional light in the dimly lit room. You could point out a few constellations.

Over dinner, you and Rintarou talk. He tells you more about his mother, the sweet saint of a woman, and a little about his bandmates. Then he asks about you. You tell him about your favorite colors, sports teams, music genres, and more.

"No," he interruptes you, taking your hand from across the table. Both of you had eaten at that point and were just enjoying the atmosphere. "I want to know about you, not what you like."

You stutter, blinking softly. Your lips part slightly, as you think of something to say. "Uh," you say stupidly, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. Rintarou's lips quirk up a bit.

"Well, I grew up in Tokyo, the Nerima Ward specifically. I attended Fukurodani private academy, and I was the manager of my best friend's volleyball team."

Something lights up in Rintarou's eyes, a hint of something familiar. "Did you play?"

"A little. I had to learn how to set for Bokuto when Akaashi didn't want to...did you used to play?" the question felt a bit stupid. Why would Suna Rintarou, a famous singer/songwriter and near-professional photographer, play? volleyball?

He laughs. "I, uh, I did more than just play. Actually, the whole band played, even Kita. We all went to the same high school, it's kind of how we met each other, y'know? Atsumu was the only one who tried to make a career out of it. When we weren't playing though, we were in Kita's garage learning how to play instruments."

"Woah," you say, not even bothering to hide your shock. It felt so natural. Rintarou had the body of a volleyball player, and you knew Atsumu played and that they had all known each other pre-band. Yet, despite that, it seemed unfathomable to you. "I didn't know any of that."

"Yeah," Rintarou snorts, "it's not exactly the kind of thing they ask in interviews. It isn't hidden knowledge either though, you can look up any old competition video and you'll find all of us."

"Well, that's something to do when I get bored," you remark, resting your head in your hands. Maybe volleyball was how Kuroo got interested in INARIZAKI. Their music wasn't exactly his taste anyway, but he was still involved in the community. He probably knew of them from volleyball which piqued his interest. He was nosey like that.

Eventually, Rintarou pays the bill, and leads you out the door. He checks his watch. It's nearing 10:30, and the city is alive. "Do you have a specific time you need to be back?" he asks you as the two of you climb back in his car.

"No, and I wouldn't mind spending more time with you."

And that's how you find yourself in a lounge with Rintarou, the music blasting as the two of you sip on champagne glasses. He'd managed to snag a seat for the two of you on a loveseat in the lounge. In front of you, sweaty bodies mingled and dance. Laughter, singing, and the sounds of joy filled the air. The sounds of people enjoying themselves.

"Rin?" you begin, turning to him. Your thighs are brushing, and his hand is resting on your knee. His touch is warm against the thin fabric of your dress, and you try not to squirm too much as his thumb rubs small circles into the flesh of your lower thigh.

"Hm?"

"Will you dance with me? Please?" He looks slightly caught off guard, but he blinks at you a few times before shrugging.

"I have two left feet, it wouldn't be the best idea," and yet he stands, setting down his glass as he extends a hand to you. A laugh rips from your chest, and you take his hand happily.

You drag him along with you to the dance floor, nesting the two of you somewhere in the middle. You let yourself free, letting the small amount of alcohol and the euphoria in your system loosen you up as you begin to dance. Rintarou laughs, not as comfortable as you are but enjoying watching you, nonetheless.

A partner song comes on, one of those old fast ones that you have to jump around and use a lot of footwork. You reach for Rintarou, but a hand wrap around your waist and you're being whisked away to dance with a stranger. Rintarou only has a moment before a woman your age is tapping on his shoulder and pulling him in to dance with her.

Despite being with a stranger, you still manage to have fun, twirling and twisting around the floor. Your feet will ache by tomorrow, but it doesn't matter because in this moment you can't think past now.

Looking over the shoulder of the man you're dancing with, you meet Rintarou's sharp gaze, as he stares at you from across the floor. Small breathy giggles erupt from you, which has your partner snickering.

For the rest of the song, you can feel Rintarou's eyes on you, but you know your eyes are on him just as much.

Eventually, you're set free from your partner, as a slower more romantic song begins to play. You stumble across the floor to Rintarou, who was trying to detach himself from the woman he was dancing with previously.

You tap on her shoulder and make a small shoo-ing motion which she understands. She walks off, though not without sending you a dirty look. Scoffing, you turn back to Rintarou.

He's looking at you with heavy, dark, eyes and slowly your giggles die out on your tongue. Rintarou's hand sneaks around your waist, pulling you close till your chests were flush. He was taller than you, and you tried not to cower as he looked down at you.

"Rin?" you whispered softly, but your eyes couldn't stay on his. In fact, your eyes couldn't drift away from his lips.

His thumb rubbed softly at the swell of your hip, before pressing gently on your stomach and drifting up your sides. His touch made you shiver, and you tried to stop the shaking in your hands.

To give you something to hold onto, your fingers slide up his neck into his hair, curling in silky brown locs. He lets out a little grunt when you give a tiny tug, before a grin crawls on his lips.

"Everyone was looking at you while you danced, y'know," he comments, singing it like it was a praise. You shrug, licking your lips.

"I don't care," you say cooly, "unless..,you were looking too?" you knew he was, but it was always fun to tease.

...what were you doing? This wasn't professional by any means, actually, this was incredibly inappropriate. You knew Rintarou's intentions going into this though, shouldn't you face the consequences of your own actions?

It doesn't matter what you think though, because Rintarou's lips are on yours in a matter of seconds and it burns away any thoughts of regret you had.

Anything would be okay, if it meant you could experience this time and time again.

His lips are soft, just as you thought they'd be, and his teeth nip and tug on your lip. You find yourself falling apart in his grasp, your mouth falling open wider to give further access.

Your fingers curl harder in Rintarou's hair, ripping a small gasp from his throat. His head pulls back, displaying his gorgeous pale neck. Clear and unmarked.

You take the moment of separation to your advantage, and kiss along his jawline. Rintarou's eyelashes flutter, and his teeth bite down on his lip. You find that sweet special spot between his jaw and his ear, sucking and biting down onto his skin.

You're more surprised when he lets out a shuddering shaky breath, just a whisp away from being a whimper. Something akin to pride runs through you, and you bite and suck with more fervor.

Rintarou's hands tremble on your sides, and one comes up to uselessly grasp at your arm as if seaking leverage of some sort. After a few minutes of kissing his neck, you let go, taking in a deep breath.

Pulling back, Rintarou watches you with wild eyes. It was amazing to see him so disheveled, and it managed to be a better look than anything you could create for him.

His neck was a variety of lipgloss stains, and small bites, but that specific spot you'd focused on was the best. It was a deep red, and would no doubt be purpling soon. Your lip shape and teeth marks were clear on his pale skin. There was no way he'd be hiding this. No color corrector or concealer could change that.

"C'mon," you say, taking his hand and knocking him out of his stupor, "I should get home."

The drive home is silent again, but you don't pretend to notice the way Rintarou is struggling to keep his eyes on the road and his hands on the steering wheel. "Careful," you'd tease, and enjoy the way his brows would furrow.

As he came to a halt outside of your house, you open the door, partially stepping out when his hand wraps around your wrist and tugs you close.

There's a slight register of pain as your stomach hits the edge of the console, but that's ripped away from you as Rintarou kisses you with a certain ferocity you couldn't match.

He let's you go after a few seconds, laughing at the way you chase his lips.

"Goodbye, Y/N."

And then he's off, leaving you on the sidewalk outside of your apartment building with trembling legs.

Slowly, you pull out your phone.

Blaise Zabini X gender and house neutral reader

Summary: you share a blanket with Blaise Zabini during a trip to Hogsmeade in a cold fall day, having a stream of consciousness about your future.

the story takes place during third year, there are many references to thypical middle schooler experiences and to coming of age (inspired by my own experience too).

Tags and warnings: fluff, a bit cringe ig.

You always kinda knew Blaise Zabini even though you never really talked to each other, but that was until your third year, during your first visit to hogsmeade.

You walked alongside your housemates and through the crowd behind you, you spotted him with his friends and you had the slight feeling that he was checking you out.

You immediately blushed at the random thought, you’ve never really pictured being with Zabini before and knew he was trouble, but soon you brushed the thought out of your head, thinking it could have been a trick of your hormonal teenage mind.

You continued to walk trying not to think about it too much, but you could clearly feel his gaze stumbling upon your figure from time to time.

What you didn’t know is that he was actually checking you out, in fact he has been for the last three years, remaining unnoticed thanks to his calm and collected behavior, but today it was different; he was quite restless, he glanced in your direction more and more and it was clear that he was looking at you: that was because he planned to make his first move.

He actually asked himself many times if waiting for so long was the best idea, but being untrusty of people and kind of the observer type, it ended up like this anyways.

It was mid fall, but the air was already quite chilly for your liking, so you didn’t really enjoy the trip to hogsmeade, and even after all that walking you didn’t really warm up; you tried staying inside shops as long as possible to keep yourself safe from the cold, but being packed with customers you couldn’t really stay inside for much, so you just decided to hop on a bench near the shrieking shack and snuggle up in your house scarf eating some candies.

You enjoyed being alone like that, the sounds around you almost distracting from the stinging cold, but suddenly you felt some warm fabric covering your shoulders; you got startled at first, but you turned your head: your eyes meeting with the dark gaze of Blaise Zabini.

“Noticed you were cold and thought about doing something for you” he muttered under his breath, by his words you would say that he was shy, but that wasn’t the case, he was the quiet, stern type, he seemed always confident, never vulnerable.

“Thanks, Zabini” you breathed out astonished by his action acknowledging that the fabric that he threw around you was a brand new blanket, you were surprised that seeing your every small action he was able to read right through you, but you couldn’t seem to get anything about him; “Please, don’t call me that, I hate this things” he responded, taking a seat next to you, while you snuggled under the blanket raising your legs on the bench, so that they would be close to the rest of your body.

“Why? Don’t like your last name?” You asked him while trying to sound cool passing him the opened pack of candies; “No, that’s not it…thanks. You know, I’ve got it from my mum…she’s pretty famous”, “yeah I think I know her…I think you take from her a lot” you told him implying that he was quite attractive, he chuckled in response and thank you with a smile; you probably fed up his vanity and the prize for it was seeing him smile, it was rare seeing him like this, but you immediately noticed the way his plump lips opened up revealing his teeth, wondering if that smile was as sincere as it seemed.

You remained still for a bit staring at his features unable to find any flaw on his face, the closest thing to being a flaw was his prominent greek nose, but it kind of suited him; your gaze wandering along his bare neck and soft jawline; then you wouldn’t have known that you would be around to see those traits change overtime, so you felt unsure of what to do, imagining his reaction to the things you were thinking about, how you could mess everything up and how he could betray your trust, knowing about his usual behavior.

But you thought that after all you were young, you had much time to mess up and heal yourself, what wrong could it do, to open your heart once? You knew that these things wouldn’t go away, even if you never felt them before you also knew that your every small crush could become a painful obsession in your unripe heart.

“Did you buy this just for me?” You said trying to distract him from the way you were admiring his face, and he turned his head at you amused, nodding slightly.

You stayed there, not daring to say anything else, you just got close to him and wrapped one side of the blanket around his right shoulder so that it would cover you both up; he smirked at himself, remaining silent, satisfied that his effort was appreciated.

You didn't know how things would end up eventually; that small gesture being your first step into unknown territory, you decided to take it light-heartedly opening up a possibility you've never contemplated; but that wasn't so bad, you appreciated the attention, the love of another person, something that you thought you'd never be valuable or popular enough for.

You didn't know what Blaise thought of that moment, but you were sure that he wasn't as paranoid as you; in his naive vanity he already had you wrapped around his fingers, however he knew that to keep you close he needed to let go of his pride.

So you two stood there protected from the breeze by a soft blanket, but between the folds of fabric you were as vulnerable as ever.

Oh I really hope they got a chance to watch a movie together or even just a meal outside. This is why most ( if not all ) turtles are happy when they were able to go outside China and feel “normal” for a moment. Maybe one day, they can both have a break outside.

I love how XZ knows “a shortcut” cause he is a “ninja” who i really think at this point knows how to dodge the media. Also asking someone to go there first. and him telling WYB that he attracts too much attention 😂😂😂 this reminds me that if you know WYB, all you need to look out for is Lele & YanYan, then that’s a sign that WYB is just around the corner. LOL.

Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends time and space.

WYB: zhan-ge, do you think you can really cross time?

XZ: I can.

WYB: How are you sure?

XZ: What if I have already crossed time to find you here?

WYB: Like 6 years older than me?

XZ: (speechless) A bit more romantic okay?

WYB: If we really have to cross, how about a half each?

XZ: You seem to have a plan

WYB: This way I can see you sooner.

The first part, the quote was submitted in english. I love this line cause it’s from ( my favorite ) the movie Interstellar. and I think it fits the subject of the conversation about time. It’s a common theme with wyb, how he always wants to make it seem like there is no gap between him and xz in terms of age.

This is so sweet. It’s sickening. I’m not even gonna be surprised if this kind of talk happened between them or even worse. 😂😂😂😂

The popular guess with this is that he was talking to WYB who was in LA at the time. and the whole “bumping into it” was a comment about his roller skating. Also the whole emoticons used with ✌🏼 is XZ imitating his ( WYB ) pose in his ig photo. 😂

The line XZ said where he later complained “you made me say it” to WYB was from a poem Shi Tiesheng wrote for his wife.

Finally, “replace it with a new one”. hmmmm. what could it be??? I hope not the phone cases. Or maybe they can, but still a subtle type of couple phone case.
