Hey sorry if this took a while, but as soon as I saw it I started trying to write for it, but it gave to many ideas so a lot of them might come out in the future, but I hope enjoy this one. There where a few demon characters I wanted to do, but settled on Hellboy. I hope you don’t mind.

Hellboy Headcannons:

- ft a touch starved reader

At first, he probably thinks it’s a little weird the way you seem to always have to be hugging or have your arm on people.

Low-key High-key jealous that you don’t touch him all the time like that, he doesn’t know that you think he’d be mad at you if you gave him a hug

The second you offer Daimio a hug before him, he goes in a major mood with you and avoids you out of pettiness, ranting to his dad and Alice about how unfair his life is because you haven’t paid him any attention yet.

Alice straight up just tells you that Hellboy is wanting some affection just like you and you get excited but you’re also nervous, what if she was lying?

Testing the waters by giving him a side hug after he comes back from a mission and Hellboy just picks you up and is fully just holding you in his arms, not giving a fuck what anyone thinks as he carries you around until you tell him to put you down.

You’re blushing and flustered and he LOVES it, will do it again just to see you like that over and over again.

Will 100% find any excuse to touch you since you’re one of the few people who aren’t afraid of him or disgusted by his appearance. “I hurt my ankle, I think you should give me a hug.” “I broke my phone again and I’m really upset so let’s cuddle”

Doesn’t realise how touch starved he is himself until Alice has to tell him to let go of you so you could go to the bathroom during a meeting. You find it adorable just like he does

Will become protective over you because in his mind, you’re just too innocent and adorable to take care of yourself. You’ve proved many times that this is not the case but will he listen? No.

Is very happy to let you play with his hair while he watches tv or is eating, or doing anything tbh. Isn’t embarrassed when people start making bets about how many random braids will be in his hair the next day. He obviously doesn’t care about appearances.

Gets so used to having your hands on him all the time that he feels uneasy or uncomfortable when he’s alone, especially if he’s on a mission and has to sleep in a hotel bed without you for the first time.

Is very much an enabler in your behaviour as you can tell he gets disappointed when you stop touching him, even if you’re only gone for a few moments.

The only thing he has forbidden is tickling, it is too dangerous a game to play with him. He is terrified his arm with move out of reflexes and you’ll go flying across the room. Knowing you’re forbidden to do so only makes you want to do it even more. But you also really don’t want to be splattered against the floor so you’ll have to deal with it.

Your favourite thing is getting piggybacks from Hellboy as they make you feel less insecure because he can easily pick you up and hold you for hours without even breaking a sweat. It doesn’t happen often though, since his dad keeps telling him to put you down as it’s dangerous.

His favourite thing to do is cuddle with you lying half on top of him, he’s able to just lie there and look at you as you sleep. It relaxes him just having you near him, you make him feel as normal as he could possibly feel.

A/N: This topic was very near n dear to me bc I myself am a bigger girl so I hope I brought this across the right way. Anyways, these are SUPER long and I am NOT sorry!!

Hellboy totally knew who you were, you were just about famous in the BPRD complex.

You work cryptozoology, a department so underfunded that you’re the ONLY member.

The fact you worked such a vital part of the BPRD alone earned his eternal respect.

You bump into him in the hall while you’re distracted with the bushel of papers in your arms

Cue the blushing and flustered apologies from you

He thinks it’s super cute

He offers to help you carry your papers to your office and you accept.

That’s your first conversation with him.

In like a month, you’re best friends with silent crushes. Inside jokes, secret keeping, the works.

Another six months of mutual pining with everyone wishing you guys would just date already, damn it.

The problem is you’re both extremely insecure and that insecurity leads to second guessing yourselves.

He’s not so fond of his overall visage, and you get sad every time you see the extra squish on your back, tummy, and thighs.

Eventually, the two of you do start dating despite the fears and insecurity came up in the conversation during one of your later dates.

You’re both taken aback by the fact the other doesn’t like the way they look.

“Your body is freaking incredible, Y/N, you’re crazy.” “Says who? You’re the hot one in this relationship.”

You kind of stare at each other with this look in your eyes and you know exactly where this is going.

The door of his bedroom is surprisingly nice.

It’s definitely not your first kiss with him but it was the first that made you feel so vulnerable.

And so hot.

He’s really sweet with you and peppers kisses all over the areas that make you feel the most insecure.

It makes you feel beautiful and you nearly glow with the complete joy of it all.

That night isn’t rough. Not in the slightest. It was a physical manifestation of the love that had come of your relationship.

When all is said and done that night, you curl up into his side and relish the warmth pouring off him.

Literal afterglow, you’re very sweaty.

“You know, no other man has made me feel so powerful and incredible before.”

You leaned against the damp wall watching as Nuada trained in combat, fighting imaginary opponents. Prince Nuada was unlike any person you had ever met. For starters, he's an elf, didn't see that comin' did ya, and he's a prince, most definitely not like the ones you hear about in children’s fables. You knew Nuada cared deeply about training, I mean every day you went to visit him he was training. Not that you minded it gave you a chance to "peek" at his body since he only trained in trousers. Your eyes glazed over the structure of his physical shape, lean and muscular. His physique made your chubby face heat up; he wasn't overly muscular but every line on his toned body showed just how strong he truly was. You slowly zoned out letting your imagination get the best of you. What you didn't know is how Nuada was studying you as well while he trained

Thinking of how his strong arms would feel wrapped around your thick body or the feeling of his hands gripping your wide hips. You continued to let your mind go, unaware of Nuada's presence which was now in front of you. Until you felt his eyes burning into yours with those beautiful yellow-amber eyes.

"What?" You asked nervously, as he stood in front of you.  "Why do you stare?" He asked with a mischievous smirk.

"Stare? I wasn't staring... was I staring?" You rambled feeling your face heat up.

"This wouldn't be the first time I've felt your eyes bore into me a ghrá." He stated with a slight chuckle. Hearing him chuckle sent shivers down your spine. "But I can't help but look at you the same way you do me, little one." He spoke sternly placing a hand under your chin, forcing you to look at him. Nuada slowly leaned in brushing his lips over yours. The feeling of his gaze burned into yours yet you remained silent.

Gliding his hand down to your chest, "Your heartbeat has quickened a rún." He mentioned as he continued to stare into your eyes.

"Why do you stare?" He asked again, whispering onto your lips. You felt as if you were in an oven, you knew he could feel the heat radiating off of your skin.

"Because..." You stammered out. Nuada raised his brow, "Because?" he repeated wanting you to continue.

"Because you're just so... beautiful" You answered tensely. Nuada continued to stare at you.

"You stare at me because I'm beautiful?" He asked. You responded with a slight nod. Nuada hummed at your answer.

"Then the feeling is mutual because I gaze at you because you are so... magnificent. Surely you have seen me staring at you as well. You're so different from other humans, both body and mind." He whispered before he attacked your lips with his, slipping his tongue into your mouth. The kiss was full of hunger and passion.  As your tongues wrestled, Nuada's hand snaked to your rear squeezing it harshly.

Nuada breaks the kiss traveling down to your neck attacking your sweet spot without mercy. You knew that was going to leave a bruise and you also knew that was what Nuada wanted, to see his mark on you.

"Nuada" You gasp running your fingers through his long hair. Nuada growled into your neck pulling your plump body into his muscular one firmly.

"Mo ghrian you... and... your... body... is a... blessing... from the... gods," Nuada spoke in between kisses. "You have no understanding of what you do to me." He spoke in huskily. You couldn't help but laugh lightly.

"You have no understanding of what you do to me." You repeated making him chuckle. "I think I do a mhuirnín." He shot back, before placing a soft kiss onto your lips.

Hellboy X Chubby Tattooed Reader Headcannons 10 count *REQUESTED*

Hellboy is infatuated with your tattoos. He'd want to know all the meanings to all of them if they had one. He loves the black ink on your skin as it makes you look so badass and sultry.

He's a big boy and doesn't mind some big love to go along. He'd still be strong enough to carry you around or pick you up. If you start getting pissed or angry with him, he'd have no problem throwing you over his shoulder.

He would not care a bit if you were just " thick" or "plus size" because over all your just beautiful and cute to him. If you were small he'd love having you straddle him as he picked you up and carried you. If not still would totally pick you up and kiss you against the wall.

If you let him be in the bathroom or let him take a bath with you, he'd trace his tail over your tattoos and occasionally kiss down your neck. He's all for hugs while doing so to feel your soft skin and curves.

If other agents commented on your appearance he wouldn't jump to cut their throats. He would shoot a death glare and whisper how bad ass you were for having tattoos and how those agents probably couldn't take the pain of getting one themselves so they got to pick on you. Overall he would mock them in a monster voice and try to get you to giggle.

This boy mad snuggles and I mean MAD snuggles you. On missions he's all over you mad PDA. He loves you to death and thinks your an amazing person. Again your a bad ass because you chose to go against the grain and do things unconventional. He thinks very highly of you.

You sighed as you watched the main actor on the screen lift up the girl and twirl her around. You wished you could be picked up like that but all the guys you’ve ever dated were the size of your thigh and while you had a great time with them, you really just wanted someone who could at least pick you up. It was the most embarrassing thing in the world to ask someone to pick you up and they couldn’t do it because you were so heavy. After it happened once, you learned your lesson and hadn’t asked anyone to do it ever again. 

You sat back on the couch and sighed again, gaining the attention of your roommate, Alice. She perked up from where she was sitting at the table, “Hm? What’s up?” You shook your head, “Nothing, I’m fine.” Alice, happy to have an excuse to stop doing her homework, got up and walked over to the couch to plop down next to you, looking you in the eye, “After living with you for almost a year now, I can tell when something’s up, so go on tell me.” You looked down at your lap and thought about whether you wanted to tell her or not but you realised that Alice was not a judgemental person so you should feel safe to tell her anything, especially after she told you her own secrets. 

You kept your head down so you weren’t looking her in the eyes when you told her, “I just want to find a guy that can actually pick me up, like how they do in the movies and stuff.” You looked up once you didn’t hear anything from her in a while and you just saw her smiling at you, “What?” She shook her head, “Oh nothing, I just think you’re being silly, there’s lots of guys I know that could pick you up easily, I bet you’re not as heavy as you think.” You scoffed and rolled your eyes, “Yeah right, if you think they can pick me up, send them my way please.” You got up and headed to your bedroom, deciding to call it a night and go to bed. Alice grinned and muttered to herself, “Okay, I will.” 

The next morning, you found yourself being woken up by a very energetic Alice, “Come on (Y/N), you have to get up, I’m going on a trip and you need to come with me.” You groaned and rolled over, “Why do I need to go? Get another friend to go with you, I wanna sleep.” Alice whined, “Please, you know you’re my only female friend, come with me~” You turned to face her again, “Why do you need to bring a female friend? You’re not trying to force me to go on some weird double date again because you know what happened last time.” 

Alice rolled her eyes, “No, it’s just there’s two guys and me and there’s bound to be more police guys when we sort everything out so please, I need a girl friend to help me get through it. I’ll pay for your snacks on the way there and back.” Finally deciding that you had nothing better to do, you slowly sat up and Alice grinned in victory, “Okay, dress comfy but cute and be quick, there’ll be here in about twenty minutes, love you~” 

You watched with an open mouth as she practically skipped out of the room to sit and wait for Hellboy and Ben to get here. You hurried to your joining bathroom to have a quick shower before you picked out your clothes from your wardrobe. You decided on a light grey tank top, black leggings, white running shoes and an oversized denim jacket. You quickly tied your hair up, not bothering to do anything with it and you didn’t have any time for makeup so you just grabbed your phone and purse and put them in your pockets before walking out of your bedroom. You walked into the living room to see Alice stood there with the infamous Hellboy and a guy with a scarred face. You assumed he must be Ben, if Alice’s stories were anything to go by. 

You nodded your head at them in greeting, “Hey, I’m (Y/N), I’ve heard a lot about you both.” Hellboy was the first of them to step forward, stretching out his normal hand, “Alice told us about you too, you’re very beautiful, I mean, no! Not that you’re not beautiful, cause you are, but - I just-” Alice cleared her throat, “We’ll follow you guys outside huh?” Ben nodded at the both of you and lead Hellboy outside. You blushed and Alice laughed since they were gone, “He really likes you huh? I’ve never seen him act like that before.” You looked away, “Stop it, you’re gonna make me blush.” Alice smirked, “You already are~”. 

You pushed her shoulder and she laughed as she made her way outside, letting you leave the flat before locking the door with her key. You two walked down the stairs to a large black van. You were a little skeptical but this was starting to be one of the most exciting experiences you ever had so you didn’t question it. You sat down on the empty bench, facing Hellboy who was sitting opposite. You looked to Alice but instead of getting in with you, she winked at you before closing the doors and went to get in the passenger’s seat next to Ben who was driving. 

You played with the sleeves of your jacket in the silence before you heard Hellboy clear his throat, making you look up at him, “Uh, I’m sorry about before, I’m not good at making first impressions.” You blushed from the memory of his words, “No, it’s fine, I thought it was sweet.” Hellboy noticeably perked up and sat straighter in his seat, “Oh, that’s good then. So, how come you’re living away from home?” You shrugged, “I just thought it was time to start living independently, can I ask where we’re going?” 

Alice, who had been listening in on everything you two said, turned around in her seat, “We’re going to the mansion to do some research, I told you this silly.” You stared at Alice with an open mouth, was she serious? Had she just tricked you into hanging out with her and two guys all day? You knew it, it was some weird double date again. You would’ve started an argument with her had it not been for Hellboy looking at you. You grit your teeth as you sat back, looking down at your lap. This meant that Hellboy’s chest was in view since he wasn’t wearing a shirt and you had to look away before you started blushing again. You couldn’t help but notice that he looked strong enough to pick you up and you had to immediately stop that train of thought before it became obvious what you were thinking about. 

It seemed to take forever until you reached the mansion and you waited for Alice to open the doors of the van before you got out. There was a lot of security around and it made you feel a little uneasy until you felt Alice linking her arm with yours as you walked inside. The four of you walked for about ten minutes before you reached a huge library, it had to have been the biggest library you’ve ever seen and from a quick glance at some of the book titles, not any old library either. 

Alice turned to face the three of you, “Okay we need all the books you can find on trolls, I’ll take Ben and start from the far right section and you take (Y/N) and start from the far left section.” Before you could even say anything, she was already dragging Ben away from you and Hellboy. You were going to kill her when you two got home. You looked at Hellboy, “I guess it’s just us then.” He stared after Alice and Ben, “Yeah, I guess so huh? Well, come on, I’ll show you where to start.” 

You really felt like a lost puppy following Hellboy around the library, it was very intimidating once you saw how big it actually was. The shelves were so high that it felt like they were going to topple over you at any moment. Once you reached your designated area, you started to look for anything to do with trolls but you were having trouble since half of these books were written in languages you couldn’t even recognise. When you finally spotted a book, it just had to be about ten shelves above your head. You looked side to side and when you saw that Hellboy had gone somewhere else, you tried to jump up to reach it but of course, you weren’t anywhere near. 

You continued to jump despite knowing that you weren’t going to reach it. Hellboy, who was just over in the next aisle, heard soft thumping noises and your grunts and was curious to see what you were doing. When he saw you jumping he shook his head. He chuckled to himself before walking over to you, “Here let me help.” You didn’t realise what he was doing until he had already lifted you onto his shoulders. You gasped as you felt yourself being taken off the ground. You bit your lip as you felt his hand on your thigh to help keep you up, “Can you reach it now?” Remembering what you were doing beforehand, you looked in front of you and picked out the book, “Yeah, I got it.” 

You felt almost disappointed when you felt yourself being lowered back onto the ground again but you handed him the book. He looked over it, “Good job, I’m sure this is exactly what Alice was looking for. Hey, you okay?” You knew you were blushing pretty hard, you could feel how hot your face was, but you couldn’t help it. You had a strange but familiar feeling in your stomach from what just happened and you replied with, “mhm” not trusting yourself to speak just yet. 

Hellboy wasn’t convinced though and pushed a little more, “Are you sure? Oh, I’m so stupid, I should’ve asked to lift you up, I’m sorry if I overstepped-” “No, I liked it.” You bit your lip and covered your mouth as you regretted blurting that out but you didn’t want him to feel bad. Hellboy paused as he looked at you, “..oh, I see.” You looked down, fearing the tone in his voice was a bad sign but this meant you couldn’t see him stepping towards you until he lifted your head up so he could kiss you. You gasped but fuck it, you weren’t going to deny that you wanted it so you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. 

Hellboy took that opportunity to grab your thighs and lift you up, wrapping your legs around his waist. You pulled back to whisper to yourself, “This is so hot.” Hellboy chuckled, having heard you, “What are you talking about?” You bit your lip, “It’s hot that you’re strong enough to pick me up.” He looked confused, “What do you mean? You don’t weigh a damn thing.” You couldn’t help but smile, “Really?” Hellboy nodded, “Of course, you’re like a feather, weightless.” His words turned you on enough to pull him back into another kiss, not that either of you were complaining.

Ben and Alice looked at the tie hanging on Hellboy’s locked bedroom door, turning to each other. Never in a million years did you think you would end up crushing on someone like Hellboy, or Big Red as you liked to call him. It started when you were picked for a research team by Professor Broom himself and you were just supposed to be behind the scenes and away from the action. You followed those rules but Hellboy was never one for following orders and went as he pleased. He met you when he crashed through the ceiling into the library after a fight with his father and he got so angry that he punched the ground so hard it broke underneath him. 

He had been laying on the rubble of wood for a few minutes before he got up and finally realised that you were stood behind him, a stack of books in your hand. You smiled at him, “You must be the Professor’s son. It’s nice to meet you. I’m (Y/N).” Hellboy had initially been drawn to you from the way you didn't look at him in fear or disgust. You were the first person, excluding his father, that treated him like a normal person from the beginning. 

After that encounter, he started asking questions about you to his father, here and there to not seem suspicious, but nothing could fool the professor. He soon realised that his son was strangely fond of you and had you moved to work as his assistant, meaning you would see a hell of a lot more of Hellboy. The professor assumed that if you were around then maybe he wouldn't be so keen to leave all the time. 

Just like the professor expected, Hellboy stuck around a little more but he wouldn't really talk to you, just make excuses to be in the same room and watch you. You didn't really notice it, you were pretty much always on your feet and had something to be doing to realise that you had a set of eyes on you most times. It got to the point where the professor tried to play matchmaker since he was getting bored of son’s relentless pining. 

Soon, you and Hellboy were paired together for missions and while you were scared of going into the field, you knew that Hellboy could likely take just about anything. After you both nearly died after an attack from a witch, you both started to relax and become comfortable around each other. The two of you became fast friends and you were glad to have someone to rely on when you needed them. 

That was a year ago and lately, you could feel the dynamic of your relationship changing into something else and you actually didn't mind. You didn't care about the fact that Hellboy was technically devil spawn, he was one of the most genuine and nice guys you've ever met. You remember the night you started to feel any attraction to him. 

You’d just come back to your room at the base, the professor insisted you move into his home since you spent most of your time there and he didn't see the point in you wasting money on the rent of an apartment you were rarely in. It was also for your safety but you didn't complain about it. You’d been on a date, first one in a good few years and when you met the guy, he was completely different than the first time you met up. He was rude and self-centered. Basically, the worst kind of guy that ever existed. You'd left once he made comments about your weight, saying that you'd have to lose a few pounds if you wanted anything serious with him so he could be seen with you in public. 

You told Hellboy everything, the two of you sat on the couch in the living room. You were still dressed up and eating a tub of ice cream while Hellboy was watching some weird tv show he liked. Hellboy just grunted, “He sounds like a dick,” “He was, but yeah, I guess I should lose a few pounds if I want to get someone better.” 

Hellboy had scoffed, “That’s ridiculous, you’re perfect as is. Don't let that asshole change your mind.” You had stopped the scoop of ice cream headed into your mouth and turned your head to look at Hellboy. He wasn't looking at you so you had the chance to just stare at him for a bit. You felt your heart race just a little bit faster than usual and a weird feeling in your lower stomach. That was your cue to stop looking so you just ignored it and went back to eating your ice cream. 

From then on, you found yourself noticing things you didn't before. Well, you noticed them but everything he did seemed to have a different effect on you than before. The way he laughed, spoke, joked about, just anything he did in general was making you feel a weird attraction to him that you couldn't explain. Well, that was until a few days ago. You’d met up with Alice, the two of you had met a couple months back and you made sure to check in with her at least a couple times a week. 

“Yeah, I just don't know what’s wrong with me,” “Are you for real? It's so obvious, you like him.” You had refused to believe her at first and you changed the topic but then you couldn't get the idea out of your head. Maybe she was right. You hadn't been the one to be shy about your feelings so once you finally decided that there was a possibility that Alice was right and you liked him more than a friend, you needed to tell him. 

“I like you.”

You wished you’d never told him. It hadn't gone well. It didn't go bad though, either. He just kind of stood there and stared at you. Then he went to the fridge and pulled out a beer so you left before he turned around. Since then, you hadn't seen him. Which brings us to now. You were invited to a birthday party that Alice was having. When you talked to her on the phone, she told you that she would make sure that Hellboy would be coming. 

There was three ways that you could do this. One, you could just stay home and not go to the party at all, except you’d already promised Alice that you would and you didn't want to miss her birthday party. Two, you could go and completely ignore him, giving him a taste of his own medicine and avoid him at every turn. Or three, you could go all out and have a good time without caring about the demon that you couldn't get out of your head. 

After much consideration, you decided to go with option three. Who cares about him? Well, you did but that's not the point. You were going to go and have a good time, Hellboy be damned. With new confidence and motivation, you headed to your wardrobe and pulled out just the right outfit.

In your little red dress and heels, you walked into Alice’s apartment and your eyes scouted for the birthday girl. You saw her and the two of you smiled and she ran over to you, “You look good, trying to impress a certain someone?” You shook your head but the both of you knew that wasn't true. The two of you talked for a little bit before one of her other friends arrived and she left to greet them. You were left by yourself for a little bit until you headed into the kitchen to get a drink. There wasn't much choice to choose from so you decided on just a bottle of beer. 

“Since when do you drink beer?” You jumped and turned around, your hand over your chest, “Don't fucking sneak up on people, jackass.” Hellboy chuckled then his face turned serious, “Sorry.” “It’s fine, just don't do it again.” Hellboy scoffed, “I wasn't talking about scaring you.” “I know.” You looked down and your lips curved into a small smile. There was a little silence before he said, “You look amazing.” “I know.” This time you both chuckled and you looked up to see him smiling at you. You walked closer and softly shoved his shoulder, “I missed you, idiot.” 

Hellboy sighed, “I know. I...missed you too.” “Then why’d you stay away?” Hellboy looked around the room full of people before gently grabbing your upper arm and leading you outside onto the balcony. You sat on the stairs for the fire escape while Hellboy leaned against the railing. “I was scared.” “You? Scared?” You wanted to laugh but Hellboy’s serious expression took the amusement out of the situation, “What were you scared of?” 

“That if we went down this path, you'd eventually realise that you could do so much better than me.” You hummed, “Maybe I could do better, but that doesn't mean I want better. I guess it's up to you to take that risk and trust me.” Hellboy didn't look at you until you got up to stand next to him, your shoulder touching his bicep. He wrapped his normal arm around you, realising you must be cold. 

“I can be jealous and I drink a lot.” You laughed, “You think I don't know that? There’s nothing I don't know about you and you can’t scare me away, Big Red.” Hellboy smirked, pulling you closer, “So I guess we’re doing this then.” “I guess we are.” You moved to turn on your side a little, pressing yourself against his chest. 

“I’m not wearing anything under this dress.” “Are you trying to kill me?”
