☆༉ — SATORU GOJO. a flicker of a flame.
Tumblr media
about. when satoru notices the flicker of cursed energy within your unborn child, he starts to feel the weight and nerves of becoming a father.
warnings. minors, blank and ageless blogs do not interact! sfw, fluff, expecting parents, reader is pregnant, hospitals, nerves about being parents, listen idk how gojo’s cursed technique works so here u go >:( canon verse, expecting father!gojo, fem!reader.
Tumblr media
“i can see it…like…flickering inside of you.”
satoru carries an expression of intrigue, like a child who’s just discovered a new sensation.
you flip the page of your magazine, not bothering to spare your husband a glance while you instead choose to admire the many strollers and their offers that decorate the page. “don’t be weird, satoru.” you tap a perfectly manicured nail against the one you like most, leaning over to show the item to him.
“but it’s there… like actually there.” the sorcerer replies, keeping his voice low despite the loud ambience of the maternity ward’s waiting room. people crying, people celebrating, families already full of children gathering around to hear more exciting news. “i like that one. it’ll fit in the hallway too. do you want it in grey or in black?”your husband passes you a pen from the depths of your tote bag in his lap, letting you circle the stroller in the magazine so you know to come back to it.
this time, you do him the honours of looking up at him — a fresh glare settled on your glowing features. “satoru gojo please stop referring to our baby as an ‘it’.” you sigh in exhaustion, watching him slump in his seat because you know he hates it when you’re irritated with him. “i thought you were excited about having a baby girl. and the grey one, it goes with your eyes.”
that seems to perk him up enough, earning you a kiss to your cheek that has you smiling like a fool in the nurses office. “sorry, sorry…” satoru starts to coo warmly, a soft tone that’s usually reserved for you and his students. “it’s just that… every time i look at you, i see two vessels of cursed energy instead of one. there’s a flicker of a flame there, right where she would be. it’s blowing my mind.” he points to your bump, nestled away under the layer of his clothing since they’re the only thing that makes you feel comfortable right now.
you close your magazine slowly, fighting the flutter of your heart and the warmth that spreads through your body. you know that your husband is being cautious, overly observant and extremely over protective — being pregnant and having a baby in your line of work was dangerous. scary, even. but you knew that satoru wanted this with you, and you him. that he cared a little too hard or worried slightly too much because while he was the strongest, you’d become every target and every weakness to him.
you and your daughter.
an unborn child who may possibly have the powers of a god among men.
so, instead you tuck away the irritation that comes with your hormones and let your gaze slink over to the large man squished into the abnormally small seat of the waiting room — just to be by your side. “do you need me to explain how pregnancy works, satoru?” you quip and rest your head on your knuckles, just to make him laugh and ease up a little.
a wiry smile starts to tug at the corner of his soft, pink lips. “i’d rather you show me but i think we got the fun part nailed.” gojo’s face splits into a wide grin, making you roll your eyes. “we made her, yanno. she’s alive in there because you’re keeping her safe.”
“and you too, mister six eyes.” you tap his skull, brushing against pure white locks, as gojo leans over you affectionately — probably in demand for a kiss (which you give).
the receptionist calls your family name from the front desk — no doubt to call you in for your neonatal appointment. another set of scans to help confirm your little girl is nice and healthy before you tell the rest of your friends and family later today.
gojo wanted to hand out copies of your scans to everyone at dinner. show off.
but as you stand, satoru goes quiet, offering you his hand as aid. “do you think…do you want…” pressing his lips into a thin line, your husband mulls over his words whilst guiding you down the hall to the doctors office — nodding to the receptionist to thank her as you pass. “i hope she doesn’t have what i have. i wouldn’t wish this burden on anyone.” he looks you straight in the eye, blue eyes piercing your soul. you feel your baby move and kick, forcing you to wonder if she’ll have the same mind blowing eyes as her father. “i hope she’s like you. beautiful and strong and—“
“ours. she’ll be ours and the best parts of both of us. her daddy’s strength, bravery, good looks and her momma’s wits, pretty ‘get me what i want eyes’ and smarts too.” you laugh, bright and loud as you cut gojo off — turning to look at him with a happy smile. “if she turns out like that, the best parts of both of us she’ll be perfect. i’ll love her because you gave her to me, we can figure out the rest later.”
that seems to reassure satoru, who sags in relief by your side as he wraps an arm around you, his large palm splaying across your baby bump. “you’re right, you’re right,” he grins again, feeling her little feet mercilessly kick at his palm. “as long as she’s healthy, we’ll be fine. i love you.”
“we love you too.” you swoon a little too much.
satoru gojo will be a great father, you think, your baby girl is so lucky — she has the strongest daddy in the world and he loves her a little too much already.

Seven
Pairing: Javier Peña x Reader
Rating: Gen (kind of a crack fic if you ask me)
Summary: You and Javi discuss children
Tumblr media
“How many?”
“Hmm?”
“You keep saying children plural. How many do you want?” You asked, flipping through the pages of the magazine idly. You weren’t even reading, just looking at pictures and reading a gossipy headline about some of the other actress.
“Hmmm seven?”
“Fuck no!”
“Why not?”
“Why not? WHY NOT?” You asked, horrified. “Javier, I’m a human being, not a baby making machine. You have a government job and I’m just a lab tech. We will never have 7 kids money unless you pocket some of the cocaine you seize. God, can you imagine if they all wanted to go to law school? Or medical school?”
“I wasn’t thinking that far ahead,” he said, taking the magazine from you and setting it aside. He pulled you into his lap, kissing you neck from behind and making you squirm. “I was focused on how hot you’ll look pregnant.”
“Of course you were. Horndog,” you scolded, pinching the arm that held you close. He hissed, but didn’t loosen his hold, only pulling you in closer.
“Can you blame me? With such a hot girlfriend, a man is bound to let his imagination run wild.”
“Shut up.”
“Five?” He asked, making you angrier.
“Are you trying to have a family or form a basketball team?”
He laughed before kissing her lips. “Four?” He bargained.
“Three is the absolute maximum for me.”
“Then three is good.”
“Yeah?” You asked, softer when you heard the sincerity in the reply that came with no hesitation.
“Mhmm.”
“But everything is up for debate after the first one,” you added, just in case. Pregnancy did not look fun and you didn’t want him holding you to this if you were too fucked up from the first pregnancy to try again. “I might hate being pregnant and never want to have another one again. We might have to be satisfied with one baby.”
“That’s good too, baby. I only want as many children as you’ll give me. Whether that’s one or three or seven.”
“Definitely not seven.” You smiled, adjusting yourself to sit back on the sofa with just your legs in his lap. “And no bargaining on gender either. If we have three daughters, you can’t ask for another one just to try for a son.”
“I would love three daughters. Why do you think I’ll ask you for a fourth one after that?”
“I don’t know,” you said, shrugging. “Men usually want sons. To teach them soccer or go fishing or whatever.”
“I’ll teach our three daughters soccer. Girls have legs. And I don’t care for fishing anyway. If they want to be with animals, they can take care of the ranch.”
“God, I planning my life out with a ranchero who wants a million kids!” You said, laughing.
“You’re just realizing that?”
“Oh god, I don’t know what’s worse— ranchero or DEA agent. Do you like chop wood shirtless or something? Cause I can’t handle that. I will end up having 7 kids if I saw that.”
“You’re mixing up rancheros with lumberjacks, baby. But I’ll learn to chop wood if you want. And I’ll teach our daughters to chop wood too. And how to shoot. And how to fix a car. Teach them plumbing and everything. So that they don’t have to call their boyfriends at midnight to ask them to fix their sink,” he said, making you giggle at the recollection of that night.
“Oh please, you weren’t complaining,” you scoffed, reminding him of the night he came over to fix your sink and ended up staying all night and all day in your bed.
“Exactly. No boy is slithering into my daughter’s bed like that. I won’t allow it.”
You scoffed. Oh you poor little fool… “You think my father didn’t teach me how to fix my sink, Javier? That I didn’t break it just to invite you over?”
“Fuck!”
“Yeah.”
“Fuck. Let’s have three sons.”

Part two to this
You wrapped your arms around yourself as you sat on the carpet in front of Robins coffee table.
Vickie had made you some tea to help the nerves but it did nothing to calm the storm brewing in your stomach.
You stared at the photo of yourself as you walked out of the emergency room doors, still in your light blue scrubs. You had your work bag slung over your shoulders and you looked completely and utterly exhausted as you walked out of your nightshift.
You flipped back through the pages, seeing how beautiful the other women associated with Eddie were, it was a punch straight into your chest to see your photo compared to theirs.
“You’re torturing yourself,” Robin called from where she stood with the phone pressed against her ear. She had immediately called Steve who was currently on the other side of the country on a business trip. “Steve wants to know if you need him to come home?”
You sighed before shutting the magazine. You knew you would just end up opening it again like you had at least ten times since Vickie spotted it in the checkout line at the grocery store earlier that day.
“No. Tell him I said to have fun in New York,” you said as cheerful as you could manage.
Robin frowned and went back to muttering to Steve.
You avoided every mention of Eddie Munson at all costs for the past six years. Of course, with as famous as he was it was hard to always avoid.
You didn’t want to get dragged into whatever it was he had going on.
You had done nothing wrong, just living your life and working as a very tired resident in the hospital.
You closed your eyes, the image of that day engrained in your memory, the day that Eddie called your relationship off in favor to have some freedom on the west coast while playing his music.
You knew you two had been growing more and more distant you with being busy in college and him trying to get his music career off the ground.
“It doesn’t make sense,” Vickie said softly as she sat on the couch behind you. “Why take pictures of you? You didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Steve said he’s getting a lawyer,” Robin chirped as she threw herself down on the couch beside her girlfriend.
“No. No lawyer. It’s just going to make it worst,” you groaned.
“You know how crazy Eddie-shit, sorry, assholes fans can get. It’s not great that your name is associated with him,” Robin argued.
“It’s also not great to draw anymore attention to it. I think that this will all blow over and no one will even care by next week,” you said, pushing yourself up off the floor and walking to the window.
The phone rang and Robin hopped up, muttering my about how Steve can’t go more than five seconds without hearing her voice.
Vickie rolled her eyes at you with a smile at Robins antics.
“Wait, wait, wait, slow down. Let me see what she says,” Robin said loudly to the person on the other end of the phone.
“What’s wrong?” You asked, whatever it was, it couldn’t be worst than your picture and name making national headlines.
“It’s Dustin. Eddie called him and he wants to talk to you.”

Part V - Part VI
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
“Absolutely not.” Vessel responds blankly as he flips through one of the magazines by the register.
“Ves, come on.” You groan. “It's one night.”
“Yeah, one night with a whole group of people that want to run us out of town.” He retaliates in the same bored tone as he turns another page.
“Everyone's going to be wearing costumes, no one will know it's you.” You offer as you start bagging his purchase.
“They've seen pictures of us, love.”
“What? Those blurry, grainy sasquatch looking photos from the paper?” You sigh, handing him the bags. “Listen, I know you're worried. I know you just want to keep everyone safe, but you hiding yourselves away is only going to make people more suspicious.” You could feel his eyes studying your face.
“I get the slightest feeling that something is wrong we leave, do we have a deal?” He sticks out his hand to you, you clap your own into his without hesitation, giving it a firm shake. “I agree that people might be more comfortable with us being in town if we can exist in the same space without an issue… I just hope you're right about this.”
“I'll be right by your side the whole time.” You exchange a soft smile.
“Are you closing early that day?” He asks.
“Of course, I have to get into costume myself.” You giggle. “I'll be closing at noon that day, but I can always reopen if you guys want to stock up afterwards.” You offer.
“It’s not that, I wouldn't want to trouble you.” He chuckles. “I was thinking maybe we could meet here before the festival.”
“I'd like that.”
“Then it's a date.” He bows his head slightly in dismissal before pushing out the door.
The next day the store was abuzz with excited children picking out glow sticks, mother's buying ingredients for their bake sale items, and last minute costume necessities for all the town's residents. “Miss (Y/N)!” You can't help but smile as a young boy with messy brown hair and a gapped tooth smile rushes up to the counter.
“Daclan, she's busy-” his mother starts, a bubbly school teacher you had gotten to know quite well since she had moved to town.
“Don't worry about it, Siobhan.” You chuckle, pulling the bucket of candy out from behind the counter and discreetly offering it to him. You lean down slightly, “if you don't tell the other kids I'll let you take two.” You whisper with a wink. He shoves his hand into the bucket before quickly and triumphantly retrieving his candy.
“Miss (Y/N), are you coming to the Fall festival?” He asks excitedly.
“Of course I am, I wouldn't miss it for the world.” You smile. “What's your costume going to be this year?” He starts rambling on about his skeleton costume as you ring the two of them up.
“Woah! Mom, look at him!” Your attention flashes over to the door to see Vessel frozen in place as every pair of eyes in the store land on him. As quickly as he caught their attention it was gone, the bustling energy returning once more as everyone continued their shopping. You motion him closer with a wave of your hand. Declan stared up at the large masked man in amazement. “What are you supposed to be?”
Vessel gives you the briefest of looks, not exactly sure how to respond at first. But, seeing the boy's bright smile and lack of fear, it warmed his heart. He leans down, resting his elbows on the counter to bring himself closer to eye level. “The Grim Reaper, pretty scary, right?” He says with a grin.
“Awesome!” Declan exclaims in response. “Mom, can we make a costume like his next year?” Vessel chuckles at the young boy’s excitement.
“Sure thing, honey.” She ruffles Declan’s hair. “Come on, let’s let Miss (Y/N) close up so she can get ready.” You exchange goodbye’s with her, Declan telling you that he hopes you get to see his costume before hurrying out the door.
“So far so good.” You remark as you lean against the counter, you and Vessel shifting to more easily face each other. “I promise tonight will be fun.” You reach out, grabbing his shoulder and giving it a reassuring squeeze.
“Well, if you talk so highly about this festival, I can't see any harm in giving it a shot.” You wait for your last few customers to file out of the store before locking up.
“Where's everyone else?” You ask, looking out in the empty lot for their truck.
“They're in back, I hope you don't mind.”
“Not at all.” You click off your open sign with a smile, motioning with a nod for Vessel to follow you out the front door. Your keys jingled in your hand as you struggled with the lock. “You'd think after all this time I wouldn't mess this up.” You sigh. The front door had a tendency to not shut fully unless things were maneuvered a certain way; the keys had to be slid into the lock a certain way, you had to push the door fully shut with your shoulder, you felt your cheeks start to burn as you struggled with something so simple in Vessel’s presence.
“Mind if I give it a try?” He offers quietly. You shuffle out of his way, the heat of his body noticeable against yours as he slid a little too close behind you. He jiggles the key slightly, slamming his shoulder into the glass pane’s metal frame, managing to slide the deadbolt into place. He pulls on the handle a couple times, making sure it's fully secure, before turning to you with a proud smile. “There, that should do it. He follows you out back, the other three members of the usual group lounging in the cab of the truck. IV was the first to notice you, perking up in his seat when his eyes landed on your approaching form. He nudges II, who looks up immediately from the book he was reading at the mention of your name.
“Where's your costume?” III asks in mock annoyance. He hops down from his place situated in the bed of the truck, his long strides allowing him to approach you quickly and pull you into his arms. He pulls back slightly, his blue eyes finding yours and making you freeze under their warm gaze. “Promise me I'll get you to myself for at least a little while tonight.” You could hear the smile he was wearing under his mask lace it's way through his words. Before you had a chance to respond the passenger door of the truck was kicked open, IV practically falling to the ground as he scrambled out. Your eyes darted up to three, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he gazed down at you. He gives you a quick wink before he steps back, satisfied with your flustered state.
IV bounds up to you, excitedly taking your hands in his. “I can't wait to see your costume.” You jump slightly as a warm hand if placed against your lower back, you caught the sight of II in your peripheral.
“Well we have to let her go get changed into it first.” He chuckles. “It's good to see you, love.”
“Come on guys.” You chuckle, motioning for the four of them to follow you. “You can hang out upstairs while I get ready.”
It always made your heart swell every time they were all together in one place. The warm, me jovial energy that filled your apartment had you practically skipping to your room to get changed. You could hear the four of them continue to talk in the living room, just quiet enough to make it so you couldn't hear. You opened your closet, pulling out the neatly packaged bag that contained your costume. You shimmied into the tight dress, the stretchy fabric hugging all of your curves just right. Was this the most original costume in the world? Absolutely not. But, considering you were hoping to catch the attention of some masked men in particular this evening, you figured it wouldn't hurt to be a little cliche. You did your makeup as quickly as you could, a dark smokey eye that was finished off by you drawing a little black nose at the tip of your own with eyeliner. You grabbed the headband from your vanity, adjusting it perfectly atop your head before giving yourself one final once over in the mirror and heading back out to your waiting guests. The room fell silent the second you stepped through your door, four pairs of eyes locked on your small form. All of the sudden attention made you feel self conscious about your costume choice, maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. You wrapped your arms around your torso, your cheeks warming as you looked between the four. “Does it look ba-”
You didn't have a chance to finish your question before they were all scrambling out of their various seats towards you. All of them reassuring you that you looked fantastic and apologizing for staring. Your small group prepared to head out, III hung back to wait for you, his monstrous form taking up most of the doorway. You smile up at him as you straighten up from pulling on your shoes. “You look beautiful.” He compliments you softly, making your cheeks warm.
“Thank you.” He slips his hands into yours, his lips warm through his mask as he places a soft kiss to your knuckles.
“Ready to get going?” You nod, letting your hand reluctantly fall from his.
You piled into their truck, you were currently squished in between Vessel and II, III and IV curled up in the bed. “So, you're all excited about this festival, what are we even going to be doing?” Vessel asks suddenly, breaking the silence in the truck.
“Well,” you start, “there's going to be a lot of food, hay rides, a costume contest, lots of vendors from around the town, a few rides, a haunted house. It's nothing spectacular, but I’m hoping it will make you guys feel more at home here.” You noticed him and II exchange a look over your head. It wasn't long before you pulled into the bumpy dirt parking lot of the fair grounds. III vaulted out of the truck, his heavy boots landing on the ground with a loud thud. You notice II shove him back slightly as he holds out his hand to help you out of the truck. He gives your hand a soft squeeze before dropping it, you were quickly surrounded by the four men, all of you chatting happily as you made your way up to the festival. The four froze, taking in the chaotic sight before then. IV reached out, slipping his hand into yours.
“There's a lot of people, huh?” He asks, startling back slightly as a child rushes past his legs.
“The whole town’s probably going to show up.” You explain. You lean on closer to him, “you alright big guy? We can always turn around and go back to my place if this is too much.” You squeeze his hand reassuringly.
“I think I can handle it if you're by my side.” You noticed his features soften as he smiles under his mask. Your cheeks warm, your eyes darting to the ground in an attempt to try and hide your flustered expression.
“Where should we start?” III slips an arm around your shoulder, you instinctually lean into his side.
“You're the expert, love, lead the way.” Vessel shoots you a sharp grin. The group stayed close to your side, forming a buffer between you and the rest of the crowd. You wandered from booth to booth, letting the boy's childlike wonder take over as they excitedly showed you small trinkets and hand made gifts they stumbled across. The booth of old ladies selling goat milk soap cooed over how adorable all your costumes were, slipping sweets into all your hands as you made your way out. You paused in front of a vendor selling handmade jewelry, you jumped slightly as a hand came to rest on your waist.
“That would look very pretty on you.” II’s gentle voice meets your ears.
“You think so?” You ask through a flustered giggle. II asked to see the necklace in question, the beautifully wire wrapped crystal sparkling in the gradually setting sun. “It is really pretty.”
“How much?” He asks without hesitation. The young woman running the stand told him the price, to which II shocked you by immediately purchasing the necklace. He steps behind you, your hand raising to the unfamiliar weight as it falls around your neck. “A beautiful necklace for the most beautiful woman in the world.” His warm breath bounces off your cheek as he speaks, sending a shiver down your spine. You glance over your shoulder, your eyes immediately finding his bright blue ones.
“You know you didn't have to buy me anything.” You see the corners of his eyes crinkle as he smiles.
“What if I wanted to?” You didn't miss the teasing tone that had laced its way into his words. You traced a finger along the cool metal wire, fully turning yourself to face him. You glance up at him through your lashes, struggling to find the right words to say to thank him. You pushed yourself up onto your toes, quickly pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“Well, I think that’s very sweet. Thank you, II.” You perk up at the sound of one of the others calling your name, III appearing at your side and slipping his hand into yours.
“Mind if I steal her from you?” He quickly asks II.
“Not at all.” He holds up his hands with a soft chuckle. “I'm sure I'll manage to snag her back later.” He winks at you, making your cheeks grow warm.
“What a shame,” III leans down to murmur quietly in your ear, “looks like I'm going to have to beat them off with a stick to get you to myself.”
“Careful, you're all going to make me think you have a crush on me or something.” You tease in response, shooting him a playful smile of your own.
“Only a pretty little thing like you could handle something like that.” He winks. “I want to make sure you eat before IV gets over excited and drags you off to the rides.” He jokes with a smile. He tucks you safely into his side, helping you avoid the bustling crowd that surrounded you.
“Are you having a good time?” You ask him softly. He glances down at you, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he smiles.
“Yeah, I’m spending time with you, of course I’m having a good time.” You let out a bashful giggle, quickly turning away as you feel your cheeks grow warm.
As the evening carried on you couldn't help but notice II grow more fidgety with every passing hour, occasionally leaning into Vessel to whisper something only for the taller man to clap him on the shoulder and give him a reassuring grin. You were currently sat in a circle on the ground, finding a nice place in the open field to settle down and have some good together. You laughed as IV expertly stole a bite of your corn dog faster than you could comprehend what had happened. “What's your favorite ride?” II suddenly chimes in from his position sitting across from you.
“I'm personally a big fan of the haunted house, I think all the cheap jump scares are fun.” You respond with a laugh.
IV makes an intrigued noise. “We should all go on!”
“Only two people can ride together, unfortunately.”
“Well, how about you ride with me then?” II winks at you, making you blush.
“If you think you can handle it.” You tease in response. II stands, offering you his hand which you eagerly accept. He hoists you from the ground, pulling you into his side and slinging his arm across your shoulders. Vessel tagged along with IV, knowing it would be the only way to stop him from complaining about how he wanted to go too, III elected to stay back to save your spot. You all chatted happily as you stood in line, the slow creeping pace allowing them to see a little of what the ride had in store for them.
Brown metal buggies horribly painted to look like wood creaked along the track, bat shaped hood ornaments were barely recognizable after years of dings and chipped paint.A repeating track of over dramatic screams and ghoulish moaning looped from the speakers. “Next in line, please!” The ticket collector barked, IV and Vessel stepped up first, IV practically vibrating with excitement as he waited for the all clear to get on. II’s arm slid around your waist as you stepped forward, waiting patiently for the next cart to wheel itself into place. “Y’all have fun.” He waves you on. II helps you step into the cart, your body thudding against the thin, leather covered padding on the seat.
“You’re not going to get all scared on me now, are you?” You ask in a playful tone.
“Oh, don’t worry sweetheart, I’ll be right here to protect you.” He returns with a smirk. Your body lurched slightly as the buggy started to move. You were hit with a blast of cold air as you crept into the dark space, II’s arm wrapping around your shoulders, you found yourself instinctually snuggling into his side. You jumped slightly, giggling over being startled by the second air cannon you had rolled past.
You rolled past a growling werewolf, “Look, you can see the wires.” You nudge him slightly, pointing upwards.
“I personally think it adds to the experience.” He chuckles, you can’t help but laugh yourself. “You’re so beautiful.” You feel your breath freeze in your lungs at his compliment. You clung to him as something shot out of the darkness at you, it took you a moment to recognize the plastic skeleton’s limbs rattling at you. Your eyes are drawn back to him as you feel a warm hand slip over your cheek. “And you thought I was going to be the one getting scared.” He chuckles, his eyes flashing briefly to your lips. “Cute.” He fidgets with the edge of his mask for a moment, stretching the black fabric away from his neck. “Can- can I, um…” He swallows thickly, his confidence immediately crumbling as you continue to cling to him for comfort. “Can I kiss you?” You nodded, your wide eyes glimmering in the dim light. Without hesitation II lifts his mask, his lips slotting perfectly against your own. Your hand slides over his chest, you could feel his heart pounding under your palm. As quickly as the kiss had started it was over, II’s mask already neatly back in place by the time your eyes fluttered open. You hide your face against his neck, hoping he hadn’t noticed your flustered appearance. “That was nice.” He suddenly chimes in, making you giggle. You both reluctantly shuffle away from each other as the exit opens in front of you, squinting under the bright lights. II offers you his hand to help you from the cart, your eyes meeting his as he smiles. Your pinky wraps around his as he lets his hand slip out of your grasp. You hear him laugh softly at your actions, allowing your fingers to stay linked.
“That wasn’t even scary.” IV groans as you approach.
“I never said it was scary, I just said I liked it.” You respond. Vessel smiles down at you.
“How was riding with II?” He asks with a chuckle. Your cheeks immediately warm at the question.
“We had fun.” You get out through a nervous giggle.
“Well, look who’s back.” You can’t help but smile at III’s cheerful tone. He hoists himself up from his position on the ground with a soft groan. “How was it beautiful?” Your eyes trailed after the people that were starting to gather in the open field.
“It was fun.” You felt a pang of guilt in your chest as you thought about kissing II. “See anything interesting while we were gone?”
“There’s a pretty good band playing over there.” He nods somewhere behind you. “Want to go check it out?”
“Sure.” You can’t help but smile as you feel the warmth of III’s hand brush against yours. The two of you lazily strolled in the direction of the music that floated through the air. A local folk group was currently performing under a gazebo, a small dance floor set up in front of the stage. You laughed as III took your hand and spun you around in time with the music, pulling you to him and swaying you in his arms.
“Do you know how to dance?” He asks with a grin.
“Not very well,” you giggle in response, “but I feel like with you that won’t matter too much.” You found yourself easily falling into a rhythm with him, every small misstep and teasing comment from him made you both crumble into fits of laughter. You both paused, looking up at the sky with the rest of the crowd as fireworks started going off overhead. III continues to hold you close, your arms sliding over his shoulders as the two of you watch the display. He fully encircles your waist with one arm, his hand sliding over your cheek, turning your face in order for his warm lips to find yours. Unlike the kiss with II, III took his time letting the sensation of kissing you sink in. You felt so small in his arms, the gentle dominance he had over the kiss allowing your body to fully relax into his embrace as your eyes fluttered shut. He traces a thumb along your jaw before hesitantly pulling away.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself.” He rushes to apologize, his body relaxing at the sight of the soft smile that had laced its way across your lips. Your eyes meet his, bright blue irises scanned your features with an adoration you had never seen. “I really like you.”
“III-”
“There you guys are!” He jolts back from you, the sudden lack of warmth making you shiver. “We’ve been looking all over the place for you!” It was IV, he jogged up to you. “Vessel wants to get going.”
You found yourself in the cab of the truck between Vessel and IV, II and III electing to sit in the bed for the ride back to your place. Your mind raced as you played over both men kissing you over and over again in your head. You didn’t know what to do. On one hand there was II, his silent charm and the undeniable intimacy the two of you have has drawn you in from the beginning. But then there was III, who made your heart race and dominated every aspect of your senses whenever you were with him. Who, despite his monstrous size, was always so gentle with you. You were absolutely torn. You rumbled into the store’s parking lot, Vessel parking the truck around back. You stood at the bottom of your stairs in a small circle. “Well, I hate to admit it, but that was pretty fun.” Vessel grins at you, there were murmurs of agreement amongst the group.
“Do you guys want to come up for a bit? There’s, um, there’s kind of something I need to talk to you about.” You fidget with your hands as you nervously put the statement out there. You were going to deal with feeling conflicted the only way you knew how, by facing the problem head on.

Be Mine - Happy Valentine's Day 💝
Pairing: Theodore Nott x Reader
Tumblr media
[[AN: kinda modern AUish? Idk Theo makes a ur mom joke (i'm sorry I couldn't help myself) - enjoy! 😂💞]]
Read Mattheo's story here <3
Read Blaise's story here <3
Read Draco's story here <3
Read Enzo's story here <3
You flop on your bed, sighing heavily. Pansy, your roomate, used to your dramatic antics, doesn't even look up from the magazine she's flipping through.
"What's wrong," she asks plainly. The pages crinkle softly as she turns them.
"I swear everybody in this whole damn school has a Valentine for tomorrow except me." You groan. You grab a pillow and proceed to shove your face into it, letting out a frustrated groan.
"Oh come on I'm sure not everyone has a date for tomorrow."
"Says you," you grumble through the fabric of your pillow. "You and Draco are all in love or whatever, and-"
"We are not in love." She cuts you off. If your head was not buried in the pillow, you would've seen how her face flushed red at the suggestion.
"Whatever." You huff, "As I was saying, you and Draco, Daphne and Blaise, i think Enzo's going out with some Ravenclaw, and knowing Mattheo he's likely already picked out his one night stand." You sit up, hugging the pillow against your chest. "I guess I'm just destined to be alone this year. Maybe I'll buy myself roses. Is that as pathetic as it sounds?"
Pansy chuckles at your dramatic ranting. "Maybe just a smidge pathetic." She teases. She looks up from her magazine and meets your eyes. "You're forgetting someone."
You feel the heat rise in your cheeks. "Please don't," you grumble, "the thought of him with other girls makes me want to throw up." You squeeze the pillow tightly.
"As far as I'm aware he does not have a date." She shrugs innocently, looking back down at the magazine in her lap.
"As far as you are aware." You roll your eyes. "How would you even know?"
"Well Draco hasn't mentioned anything and you know how much he loves gossip."
You chuckled. Your blonde friend did have a reputation as the school's biggest gossip. If you wanted to know anything about anyone he would be the person to ask.
"Well you know Theo," you sighed. You knew Theo- perhaps almost better than you knew yourself- and that's what made this so hard. "He's a private guy."
"Maybe you should just ask him out? Ya know, grab the bull by its horns or whatever."
"And risk him rejecting me and ruining our friendship? I'd rather just be alone tomorrow." You groan and flop back on the bed.
"Just think about it." She replies.
•••
At the same moment, Mattheo, Theodore, and Draco are playing a game of pool in the common room. Mattheo leans over the table, holding the cue stick steady as he lines up his shot.
"So Theo..." Mattheo starts. He hits the cue ball, sending it rolling into another ball with a clink, which rolls into the pocket. "Plans for tomorrow?"
Theodore frowns. Mattheo knew he didn't have plans for tomorrow so why would he bring it up?
"Yeah with your mom" he mutters, leaning over to line up his own shot.
Draco cackles. Mattheo punches Draco in the arm.
"Why didn't you ask someone out? It's not like you have to marry them or anything. Just go out and have some fun." Mattheo shrugs, using his cue stick to lean on nonchalantly.
"There's no one I was interested in asking." Theo shrugged, leaning against a piece of nearby furniture.
Draco scoffs as he hits his shot. "Oh that's the biggest lie you've ever told."
Theo's jaw tightened and his ears turned red. "Shut up Malfoy."
"You two are insufferable." He complains, "just kiss already so the rest of us can move on with our lives."
"Why didn't you just ask [Y/N]?" Mattheo asks.
Draco answers the question for Theo. "Wah I don't want to ruin our friendship. Oh they don't see me like that. Blah blah blah," Draco mocks. Now Theodore punches him in the arm.
"No need to be so aggressive." He pouts, rubbing his shoulder.
The group falls silent as they continue their game but Theodore's mind is distracted by thoughts of you. He wanted so badly to ask you to be his Valentine but Draco was right. He didn't think you saw him that way and he didn't want to ruin the friendship you two had.
•••
You sat at breakfast the next morning, scowling into your coffee. You were in a proper foul mood with reminders of your own loneliness everywhere you turned. The only reason you had gotten out of bed was because Pansy had told you she had a suprise for you and that she would not give it to you umless you did. When you did get up, she presented you with a stuffed animal that read "Best Friends" across it's belly and a box of your favorite chocolates. You had to admit that it was a sweet and kind gesture. You hugged Pansy tightly and thanked her before you both got ready and headed down for breakfast.
Now that you were at breakfast you were regretting your decision. Flowers and heart-shaped boxes and teddy bears surrounded you. Couples holding hands, hugging, and kissing were everywhere you turned. You pretend to be very interested in your pancakes when Draco joined the table, kissing Pansy sweetly. You plaster a smile on your face when Blaise and Daphne walk up hand-in-hand. And when Theodore takes his seat next to you, you don't acknowledge him, which he thinks is odd. You always say good morning to him.
He nudges you lightly with his elbow. "You okay?" He asks, concern lacing his features.
"Just peachy." You grumble, taking a long sip of coffee.
"So what are you up to tonight?" Theo asks.
You sigh heavily. You really didn't want to be telling him this but you can't help the snarky remark that falls from your lips-- "Got a hot date with a bottle of wine."
Pansy snickers from her spot across the table. You shoot her a glare and stick out your tongue.
•••
The day drags by. You try your best to pay attention in class but the excitement of the day has everyone distracted. You find yourself just watching the minutes tick by on the clock.
Theodore studies you rather than his school material throughout the day. He reads the dissappointed expression in your face and it leaves a sad pang in his heart. He had a guilty feeling sitting like a rock in his stomach.
When class ends you practically run to your dorm room. You immedietly shed your school uniform and change into your comfiest clothes. You rummage through your wardrobe to pull out a hidden bottle of wine. You tore open the chocolates and made a bag of popcorn. And when that was ready you crawled under the covers and turned on Tangled, uncorking the bottle and taking a sip.
Theodore is in the courtyard leaning against a pillar and smoking a cigarette. He was mentally kicking himself. God he was pathetic, he thought. He watched a couple walk across the lawn, hand-in-hand. He sighed, putting out his cigarette and stalking off towards the dorms.
You felt a twinge of annoyance when the sound of a knock startled you out of your immersion in the film. You dragged yourself over to the door. You started to say "What do you want," in an angry tone but when you saw it was Theodore, your words died in your throat.
Theodore looked you up and down. You are wearing an oversided hoodie and are holding the stuffed animal Pansy gave you. Your cheeks and eyes were red.
"Are you crying?" He asks, taking a step forward.
You take a step back into your room. You wipe your tears on the sleeve of your sweatshirt. "Don't judge me, it's a heartfelt movie." You grumble.
Theo holds his hands up in defense, "I wasn't judging." He took a deep breath, shoving his hands into his pockets. "I came to apologize," he sighed. "I feel like I messed this up big time."
Your eyebrows draw together, giving him a confused stare. You had no idea what he was talking about.
He sighed again, looking into your eyes with a soft gaze. "I'm sorry. I should've asked you to be my Valentine."
Your eyes trace the features of his face as you take in his words. "Why didn't you?"
Theo ran a hand through his hair. "I- I got in my own head. Convinced myself you wouldn't want me to ask you."
You hug the stuffed animal tight to your chest, twisting your body back in forth slightly as your eyes fall to his shoes.
"Theo.." you say in a small voice. "You were the only person I wanted to ask me."
Theo takes a step forward and you don't take a step back this time. He gently brushes your arm with his fingertips. He angles his head to try to look in your eyes. "I'm sorry. Is there any chance you would give me a do over?"
"Valentine's day is almost over." You mumble, shrugging your shoulders in defeat.
"Well then we can pretend tomorrow is Valentine's day. Let me make it up to you. Please?" His blue eyes are soft and pleading.
"Yeah, okay." You sigh, a soft smile finding its way to your face.
Theo grins in response... before turning around and swiftly walking out of your room and closing the door behind him. Your jaw drops open in shock. 'What the fuck just happened?' Moments later you hear a knock.
"What the--?" Theo is now standing in front of your door, holding your favorite flower out to you.
"[Y/N] will you be my Valentine."
You break into a real smile now, grinning from ear to ear as you except the flower with a soft chuckle. "Of course." You step back gesturing to the room behind you. "Care to join me for a not-Valentine's-day movie night?"
Theo returns your grin and nods.
•••
After that it becomes a special tradition: for as many years as you and Theo date, he never takes you out on the 14th-- always the 15th. 💞

so, i was thinking about tate fitting into the yandere trope (more than he already does lol) and being extremely obsessed with reader and when he decides to tell her about his feelings she tells him she's already in love with someone else. tate doesn't accept that, cause if he cant have her, nobody else cant
oh, i had fun with this one. hope you like it :)

His Obsession
Tate Langdon x f!reader
Tumblr media
warnings: murder, torture, hints of smut, hints of suicide, stalking, very bad obsession (as the title says lol), abusive relationship, manipulation, idk what else
summary: since the moment he saw you moving in, tate knew you were going to be his. no matter what.
word count: 2.5k
~~~
Tate watches as you flip through the pages of your magazine. You’re lying on your bed, music blasting in your ears. Even if he was visible to you, he doubts you’d even know he’s there. You’re too busy looking at pictures of clothes and celebrities. You hum along to the song playing, your voice soft like velvet. What once made his invisible heart race now makes him sick. He feels a tear roll down his cheek as he watches you. How can you be so content? How?
He’s been watching you for months, half of it without your knowledge. He knew the second he saw you moving in with your family he needed to have you. He remembers watching you unpack boxes, making what used to be his room now yours. Within the first week of you being there, he warned every other ghost in the house to stay away. You are his, only his.
The first time he revealed himself to you, he pretended to be the boy next door. He remembers the look on your face as if it were yesterday. You stared at him with a look that made him almost feel as though he were alive again. It was like heaven. You let him hang out with you in your room, the connection between the two of you forming immediately. He remembers how easily you opened up to him, and how within only a week you wanted to be his friend. It went just as he planned.
On Halloween he took you out to the beach, it was the best night of his life. He often thinks back to how that night went. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore as you opened your legs for him for the first time. You were so willing, it almost made him angry. But he knew it must’ve been hard to resist him for that month before Halloween, so he gave you a pass on it.
He remembers everything about that night. The way you told him he was the sweetest boy you’ve ever met, the way you looked at him as though he was the only boy in the world. Even though he was the one who kissed you, you didn’t object for one second. In fact, you were the one who laid back on the towel and started to slide your pants off. He remembers how gentle he was with you, how he almost let it slip that he was in love with you. The way you made him feel that night was a feeling he never felt before in life or death. You were so warm, so tight. He could barely contain himself. It was everything he had dreamed of and more.
After that night, his obsession only grew. Suddenly, almost every time the two of you saw each other, you had sex. He thought you were in love with him too, so he let it happen. At least, that’s what he tells himself. Each time you came on to him, he felt like he was floating. You wanted him. You wanted him to do things to you that were special, that made two people as close as they could be. It felt like an honor.
“Oh Tate,” you’d moan. “You’re perfect.”
He would look at you, no matter what position, and think about how lucky he was to be with you. You were the girl of his dreams, his obsessions. He loved you more than anyone. If he could, he would die for you, he would kill for you. Both without a second thought. Even now, he still would.
Right now, he wipes the tear that fell down his cheek and reveals himself. He walks over to you, tapping you lightly. You flinch, but once you realize it’s him you smile and take off your headphones, patting the spot next to you on the bed for him to lay.
“Have you been here long?” You ask.
Tate shakes his head and gets onto your bed. “No, not really.”
“Oh, that’s good. All I’ve done today is be lazy. I actually thought about calling you but then my mom gave me this to read,” you say. You turn your head and he watches as you really look at his face. “Were you crying?”
“No, just allergies,” he lies.
“Are you sure?”
He nods. “I uh just came here to talk about what you said last time we saw each other.”
“Yeah...” you say, your smile disappearing. “I’m really sorry for that, I just thought you should know about him.”
“Who is he?” Tate asks. He doesn’t know whether he wants to cry or kill somebody. Perhaps he wants both.
“Just a guy from one of my classes. I don’t really know how it happened, we just clicked. Don’t think this means I don’t want to stop talking though Tate, of course I still want to see you. I just think we should strictly only be friends, nothing like what we were doing,” you answer.
Tate scoffs. “What we were? I thought we were in love, I thought you were my girlfriend. You told me you loved me.”
“And I do love you Tate, just not in the way you love me. You’re like my best friend, of course I have love for you,” you reply, only making the anger build inside him.
“You don’t hook up with your best friend,” he says. He stands up, his anger taking control. He runs his hands through his hair, he needs to calm down. “You told me you needed me. You told me I was your perfect boy. How is that friendly?”
You sit up, looking ashamed. “I don’t know. Maybe I thought I was in love with you but then I met Jake.”
Tate takes a deep breath before climbing back on the bed and taking your hands in his. You look him in the eye, guilt all over your face. He can’t help but want to kiss you. He wants all of this to be some sick joke, he wants you to take it back. How could you have him convinced the two of you were in love for months then one day say that’s never what it was? How could a person do that? More specifically though, how could you do that to him?
“I’m sorry Tate,” you mumble. “I never wanted to hurt you.”
“So, take it back y/n, forget about this guy and stay with me. I want you to be mine, forever, I can’t ever just be your friend,” he replies.
You shake your head, tears forming in your eyes. “That can’t happen, it would never work out.”
“Yes, it would. Y/n, I will never let anyone, or anything hurt you, I’ll love you till the end of time I swear,” he argues. He lifts one of his hands and gently wipes a tear from your face. “Please.”
“Tate...” you whisper.
He doesn’t think before leaning in and pressing his lips to yours. He needs this, even if it’s the last time it ever happens. It’s no surprise that you don’t push him away, he knows you can’t help yourself either. Your lips move slowly against his. Both of you are crying now, your tears mix. But after only a few minutes he pulls away.
“You want me too, you know you do deep down,” he mumbles.
“It wouldn’t work, we’re not a good fit.”
“Your mind has been poisoned by that other guy; did you tell him about me?”
You nod.
“He just wants to turn you against me, he’s jealous of what we have,” Tate whispers.
His eyes are soft, tears still streaming down his face. He almost lets out a sob when you reach out and touch his face. Your sweet hands could never hurt a fly. He wraps his arms around you and pulls your body against his in a hug. It’s comforting, he loves how warm you are. He can hear your heart beat, it’s beautiful. He lies the two of you back down on the bed, his head resting on your chest.
“I can’t keep fighting without you,” he says.
“I know,” you reply. You move your fingers through his blond curls, he feels at peace.
“You make the bad thoughts go away, you make me feel normal,” he continues in a soft tone. “If you leave me, I don’t know what I’ll do.”
He looks up at you and sees how hard you’re trying not to cry. It pains him. He moves on top of you, his face hovering over yours. Your eyes are full of so many emotions, Tate can’t read them all. He leans down once again and kisses you. There are so many emotions flowing through the both of you and they all come out in this kiss. But this time, it becomes more than just a kiss.
Soon enough the two of you are doing what you do best, and even though he’s hurt Tate still can’t get enough of it. He slides inside of you gently, just like the first time. You drag your fingernails across his back, your head thrown back. Tate loves the expressions that form on your face, so fucking pretty.
He leans his head down so his lips are right next to your ear and whispers under his breath, “No one will ever make you feel as good as this, never.”
You don’t reply.
~~~
The first day you bring that guy over Tate watches darkly from the shadows. He hears what you say to him, the same things you used to say when the two of you were together. It makes him sick. He thought you changed your mind, but the day after everything went down you went back to your previous choice. You want Jake, not Tate. But he’s not going to let that happen.
When he goes to use the bathroom Tate strikes. He knocks him out with one swift blow to the head and drags his body down the stairs and into the basement. He ties him up in a chair and takes his phone, quickly texting you saying he had to go home early. Tate knows you won’t go down into the basement; it’s always scared you. He’s glad.
The guy, Jake, wakes up after ten minutes. He starts screaming, but his mouth is duct taped shut. He wiggles in the chair, it amuses Tate. He moves so fast the chair almost falls over, that’s when Tate emerges from the shadows. Jake stares at him, his eyes wide.
“I bet you’re wondering why you’re here right now,” Tate starts, Jake tries to rip out of the duct tape. “I can understand wanting her, I want her too. She’s the prettiest, sweetest, most wonderful girl I think either of us will ever know.”
He walks close to Jake, his dark eyes locked on him. “Only one of us can have her though and it’s going to be me. You see, once she starts to realize you aren’t returning her calls anymore, she’s going to be upset, and she’ll run back to me so fast you’ll just be a bad memory.”
Jake squirms in the chair as Tate walks back into the darkness. He returns within seconds though, a bloody stained hammer in his hand. The boy in the chair screams into the duct tape, it almost makes Tate smile. He walks to him again, stopping only a foot away.
“She’s mine, and you’re going to die with that thought in your head.”
With that, Tate starts to smash the hammer into the other boy's head, the sound of his skull cracking like music to his ears. He doesn’t go too hard though, no. He wants him to suffer. He smashes his kneecaps, his elbows, all while the poor boy is still alive. But when he gets too close to being dead Tate stops and drags his body outside, being careful so you won’t see. He throws the boy's body over the fence into Constance's yard, his spirit won’t even be able to reach you.
After he’s done, he cleans himself up and returns into the house, a smirk on his lips. You’re his again, he knows it.
~~~
“Tate, can I ask you something,” you speak.
The two of you are in your bed again, you’re lying on his chest. It’s been a week since he killed your boyfriend, and so far, he thinks he’s gotten away with it. The boy’s face was too mutilated to identify at first sight, and besides that Tate hasn’t heard his identification on the news or from you. He thinks it may be his perfect crime.
“Anything,” he says after a few seconds.
You sit up, covering your chest with the blanket. You look nervous. “Um, I know this may sound crazy but, did you kill Jake?”
“What?” Tate replies. How did you find out?
“That body in Constance’s yard, it was Jake,” you answer.
“Why would you assume it was me? Of course, I didn’t kill him that would be crazy,” he lies, pretending to be offended at your accusation.
“You were the only one who had a problem with him Tate, and you live right near my house. Listen I won’t- I won’t turn you in just tell me the truth,” you explain.
Tate sits up too and looks you in the eye. “Why does it matter? You’re back with me y/n, and since he’s been gone there haven’t been any issues between us. I thought you were happy.”
You scoff and get out of bed. “Tate you killed an innocent boy!”
“So what? We are happier without him; we are happier together. Whether I killed him or not those are the facts.”
“Are you serious?” You ask, a horrified expression on your face. “Did you do this so I would fuck you again?”
“No!” he exclaims, getting out of bed on the other side. “I did it so we could be together, I did it because I love you y/n. I love you way more than that jerk ever could.”
You pull on a t-shirt and underwear before heading toward the door. “This can’t be happening.”
Tate quickly pulls on his boxers and follows you. You’re about to open the door but he slams it shut with his hand. He towers over you from behind. He can see your hands are shaking, you’re afraid of him. He can’t have that.
“I’m not going to hurt you y/n, I would never hurt you,” he says softly.
“You’re a killer.”
“You love me, and deep down you’ve known what I’m capable of.”
You begin to cry. “How could I have been so stupid?”
“You aren’t stupid,” he tries to comfort you. He wraps his arms around your torso in a tight hug.
“Yes, I am, I fell in love with a monster,” you mumble.
Tate holds you close, his lips kissing the top of your head. It’s all coming together, he thinks. He knows you’re going to kill yourself soon, you can’t handle this. Once you’re dead he’ll finally be able to tell you the truth of this house. But by then you won’t be able to get out.
If he can’t have you, no one else will.
Twist ch competing against their rivals for the male lead role for a play the reader stars as the other lead role because in the play the other lead role and male lead kiss at the end, and they're damn sure that they aren't going to miss the opportunity to sneak a kiss from the prefect a.k.a their crush. Can you do headcanons of different rivalries and different plays, like riddle vs. azul, do anything please!
Hi, thank you for the ask! This is a really funny idea, I think I'm going to go with two pairs for this one, who knows there might be a sequel. Hope you enjoy!
Leona, Malleus, Vil, Neige rivaling each other to be the male lead of a play
Leona vs Malleus
Leona wasn't interested in being part of a play and Malleus just wanted to do it for fun. The two only started to actually pay attention when they saw your name as the already chosen main character. Turns out, this is a love story, and whoever the male lead is gets to kiss the main character
That's when things really start. Like Leona first thought "yeah yeah there's all these other people, I won't have to try hard—IS THAT MALLEUS"
Then Malleus was also like "Hi ^-^" and didn't think much of the rivalry between the two. If anything, if it's another thing he can use to tease the lion prince, then might as well (probably thinks the two of them are good friends but in reality it's a one-sided friendship haha)
You've never seen such dramatic acting from the two of them. Leona's actually trying, it's scaring Ruggie. You don't know why you got signed up as the main character, you really just wanted a good role but not this where two of the scariest people on campus were fighting for the spot
If Malleus wins, he'll be suave about it. He won't really rub it in Leona's face (though Sebek will) and he will be delighted about being able to be closer to his crush. Not only that, but the more time he gets with you the merrier! When he does have to kiss you, he's super gentle about it, probably a very soft kiss
If Leona wins, you bet he will rub it in Malleus's face. He will be like "yeah it wasn't hard" but he really didn't think he would make it. If you congratulate him, he'll be flustered but will try to hide it. I feel like when the time comes for him to kiss you (his crush), he'll be super nervous and end up almost pecking your lips (that's it). Ruggie will tease him lightly about it
Vil vs Neige
The fight of the century? Who would've thought! If you thought being already a popular actor/actress meant a lot of drama magazine articles about you, you're wrong because that number will just double with this new fight.
Vil originally wanted the main character role but he now feels like he NEEDS it because...well...his crush is literally the male lead's true love! If Neige gets it, not only will Vil have to see you kiss that bastard actor but Vil won't get to spend as much time with you.
Neige probably didn't think much of it, but he did want to be closer to his crush so he just tries to be optimistic about it. All of his friends hype him up, his fans hype him up (though some are jealous of you), and the paparazzis and news anchors won't shut up about this love triangle. Are there fandoms about Vil x you vs Neige x you? Yes.
The two of them have stunning auditions, honestly the judges might have to turn to favoritism or flipping a coin because the two are just SO GOOD. You decide not to watch since you think it might help them focus, but if you were there expect yourself to have been a flustered mess because omg they were wayyyy too good at acting as a love interest
If Vil wins, not only will his already high ego shoot through the roof, but he'll have something to one-up Neige in and get more time with you. He won't confess his feelings quite yet, but expect him to be a lot more gentle than you see him around other students. His kiss, when the time comes, is very soft and will make your heart skip a beat. Fans will be raving about you and expect a lot of fan edits haha
If Neige wins, he'll be humble and tell Vil that this is just a play or a movie, nothing related to real life. However, he's just so hyped to have a role with you two as the main characters. He congratulates you on your role and the two of you are just so sweet to each other throughout the whole production. The kiss he gives you is warm and heartfelt, you almost think he's not acting (he's not, but he won't tell you he has a crush on you because he's a bit shy with that). Fans of Neige x y/n will go ham too, expect a lot of fan edits as well
Tumblr media
Meeting Stu in the typically girly girl attire with that perky smile on your face was like sending him straight over the moon
He watched you, eyeing you up and down, curious and over telling
You weren’t even talking to him but it was like you were there for him. Or maybe he was just being obsessive. He was probably just being obsessive.
Stu was the kind of guy who dated someone for fun, because he knew that it worked within a friend group or because of sheer popularity. It was usually never because he loved them.
Though lets be fair. The first time he saw you he was not thinking about love. There was something so dear to him about your eyes lighting up as you cheeirly moved about the friend group
You seemed to be a friend of Sidney’s, which worked well in his favor. After things ended the summer before with Tatum Sidney had all but forgiven him for their little fling
Maybe, if Stu tried hard enough…Sidney could give him the number of her friend. You. He wants your number. He should probably ask Billy who could probably ask Stu.
Lots going on in his brain <3 so much <3
Him getting you alone for the first time is such a fun little time it’s so good
His smile widened as he approached you. Now that Sidney and Billy had left he could talk to you by himself, without her getting in the way. You were sitting on a fountain near the school, still smiling from the goodbyes you had given to your friend. He scooted closer to you.
“I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before,” he said, nudging your side. You rolled your eyes. You knew of him. Sidney had told you plenty. Though his eyes were alluring and you were all too happy to oblige that look.
“I think you have,” you promised.
“I would’ve remembered.”
“I’ve been Sidney’s friend forever.”
“Well I’ve been Billy’s friend forever. Not Sidney’s,” he explained. You narrowed your eyes at him, a smile on your face. He pointed at the skirt you were wearing, a fluff of pink at the bottom. “That’s pretty.”
You noted that he said pretty. He didn’t say cute or girly. You smiled gratefully.
“Thank you Stu. I like to flaunt my femininity.”
“I love flaunting femininity.”
Dating Stu is like…there’s always gonna be someone touching you. Even when you think he isn’t in the room BOOM there’s Stu and his hands on your sides
He loves everything about the hyperfemininity. He would play into it as much as you let him. He would buy you things you desired (while also being fully aware he’s being a bit of a dick when he points it out)
He probably makes awful jokes about your femininity linking to your ‘natural woman desires’
He made one joke about cooking and cleaning and you hit him with your bag.
He was very offended. He also didn’t really wanna mention it again (so he didn’t thank goodness)
Sidney didn’t particularly like that you were together but she didn’t hate it either
She thought your energies matched rather well (she was unaware that Stu Macher could kill someone in cold blood)
But the high intensity of Stu always needed someone who could tame it or feed into it
He found that he adored your very natural brightness
“Hey Stu?” He had his hand on your thigh but he wasn’t paying attention to you until you spoke.
“Yeah sweetheart?” You sat on your bed, watching some scary movie he had showed you. You had no quarrels with it but you weren’t truly watching it. He always seemed enthralled and you could usually flip through a magazine unbothered but still together, a quiet understanding.
“Are you aware that you’re cuddling my little piggy?” He squinted, not sure what kind of joke you were making until he noticed he was cuddling your actual stuff pig. It was fluffy and large enough to be a pillow.
He didn’t move away when he noticed. In fact, he pulled it closer to his chest with his arm that wasn’t on you.
“Not your piggy anymore.”
“Stu!” You reached forward to grab it but he pulled away, now clutching it with boht hands. You giggled. You attempted to reach around him but with laughter he fought you off. You giggled together until you were laying on top of him, the pig between you.
He made a pouty face at you.
It usually caused the both of you to be the life of the party
Billy thinks it’s rather annoying. Double annoying for the plans that he has for Stu and him
Whenever Stu was with you it was like it never mattered, what Billy had planned
Well he still wanted to kill someone
But that was beside the point. He wanted to hang out with you and live his life with you. He didn’t quite know what he would be without that.
You caught glimpses of that sometimes, when his face drifted off or when a joke Billy made landed a little wrong
But he never made it seem too overt
He was always more willing to talk to you about other things. Compliment your outfits, exist within the constraints of your room or his
It was actually really sweet <3
Always the boyfriend (even if he’s the boyfriend who always has a stupid reason to kill his gf i guess!)
“Sweetheart. You’re a sweetheart.”
“Thanks Stu.”
“You are. You’re my sweetheart.”
“Oh Stu.”
He looked down at you, poking your nose, smiling brightly, eyes narrowed in adoration.
“You look really good in pink.”
Summary: First dates are supposed to be fun. So why's this one such a disaster?
Warnings: 3k words of second hand embarrassment and an awkward reader and Eddie.
Spooktober Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“You’re being a dingus. Ask her out already or I will,” Robin threatens as she flips through a magazine she’s barely interested in, but it’s better than watching you and Eddie steal glances at each other across the store.
Eddie leans his elbows on the counter, head hanging in his hands as he sighs. “Not that simple. She could say no. She could already have a boyfriend. She could think-”
“That you're a creep coming in here every day staring at her and not saying a word to her?” Robin asks unhelpfully as she glances up from her magazine just long enough to catch the glare Eddie is giving her.
Halfway across the store as you’re trying to help a nasally voiced man pick out a selection of movies you can hear their conversation. Neither one of them understands the definition of indoor voices or private conversations and if you weren’t so polite or so afraid of talking to Eddie for fear of making an idiot out of yourself you’d tell them to shut up.
This is a place of work after all. Sure, the store is empty save for the four of you, but that’s not the point. Your lack of a dating life isn’t up for discussion in front of strangers or your crush.
“I guess this will do,” the man says as if he’s disappointed you couldn’t be more help trying to find a movie that was scary, but not too scary, but that had a little bit of gore, but not so much gore it would make his date queasy, but it also had to be recent, nothing old or black and white.
While he carries his selections up to the counter and Robin checks out the movies for him you pretend to busy yourself with straightening the vhs cases while occasionally glancing over at Eddie still hanging around the counter.
The bell over the door rings signaling his exit and when no one else comes in Robin calls you over. Your throat is drier than sandpaper and your feet feel like they’re encased in blocks of cement as you slowly make your way to the counter.
“Dingus here wants to ask you, but he’s too scared to, so I'm doing it for him.”
“Robin,” Eddie seethes with anger as your own voice melds with him chastising her for this inappropriate behavior.
“What?” she asks, not having the gall to look the slightest bit embarrassed despite Eddie’s pink cheeks and your refusal to look at either of them instead choosing to stare down at your shoes which suddenly look interesting to you. “Eddie the dingus here will pick you up tomorrow after your shift. You guys can go to the fall carnival and I don’t know trying talking to each other for once.”
“Robin,” you start, voice shaking as you dare a few peeks at Eddie through your lashes. He looks just as mortified as you do at this new development. “You can’t just… you can’t do something like that.”
Eddie’s heart sinks to his stomach when he catches you flinching and he naturally assumes it’s because you don’t actually like him because after all why would the town sweetheart go for someone like the town freak?
Robin waves away your concerns, shoos Eddie out the door, but not before yelling at him what time your shift is over.
Tumblr media
He stays on your mind for the rest of the day and night and even into the next day. When your shift ends and he still hasn’t arrived to pick you up for the date Robin arranged you figure he’s not showing. A mix of disappointment and anger settle in the pit of your stomach and as you slip your vest off and grab your purse beneath the counter the bell over the door jingles and Robin is whistling lowly.
You figure it’s just Steve so you don’t bother to look up as you root around for your car keys. She nudges you and says in a too loud whisper because she still doesn’t know what indoor voices mean, “loverboy is here.”
You glance up and true to her word there stands Eddie, hands shoved deep in his pockets, black tee shirt and jean jacket on, unruly hair pulled back into a low bun, cheeks flushed and sheepish smile on his face.
Instantly, you regret cursing him out in your mind for thinking he wasn’t going to show. Sure, he was a little late, but he did show up and now that he’s here, standing on the other side of the counter watching you it’s like you’ve forgotten every word you’ve ever known.
Robin leans her elbow on the counter watching you too and she can’t help but shove you towards him. Her push is harder and you stumble, having to catch yourself on the counter so you don’t stumble into him like a bowling ball hitting a set of pins.
“Have fun you two!” She shouts, “and remember, talk to each other!”
Once outside in the warm sunshine you finally find the words to speak, but when you do your voice is soft and you’re worried he can’t hear you. “I’m so sorry about her. We don’t have to do this. Go to the carnival. Or even out. I mean… I know she kind of pushed you into this…”
“No,” he says quickly, finally pulling his hands out of his pockets. He plays with his keys, jingling them as the silver glints in the bright sunshine. “I want to. Less you don’t want to.”
“No!” Your shout of no is even quicker and louder than his and you duck your head down in embarrassment before repeating the word again, softer this time while assuring him you want this. Turning your head to the side and over your shoulder you see Robin joined with Steve now standing at the  window of Family Video mouthing what you think are the words ‘go’ and ‘talk’ while Robin points to the van and Steve is making kissing faces.
Eddie smiles and it helps to ease a little bit of your nerves of whatever this is, a first date, a hang out, a friendly trip to the fall carnival. “You uh wanna go then?” He lifts the keys up and jingles them again and when you nod your head you’re surprised to find him opening the passenger door van for you. It’s such a simple and kind gesture, but it sends your heart galloping and your feelings for him to intensify.
He slides into the van and starts it up and your ears nearly burst with how loud he has the music playing. “Shit, shit, shit, sorry, I know it’s loud,” he mutters as if he can read your mind. His long fingers are fumbling over the buttons on the stereo and instead of turning the volume knob down he cranks it up even louder as the banging of drums and cymbals clashes like you’re sitting front row at a metal concert. “Fuck.” He jabs the on/off button and you’re plunged into total silence save for the sound of his heavy breathing.
He offers another apology as he scrubs a hand over his face and mutters, “maybe we’ll just keep that off, yeah?”
You giggle and tell him sure because truthfully his music taste isn’t the same as yours and you’re hoping that in the silence you can take Robin’s advice and talk.
But the drive to the festival is silent save for a few curses from Eddie when someone cuts him off in traffic and then again when he takes a wrong turn to the grounds and ends up on a muddy road that he nearly gets the vans tires stuck in.
Once he manages to get where he’s supposed to and parks he opens your door again and your heart picks back up that happy rhythm it had when he did it the first time.
Beginning a leisurely stroll towards the entrance gate there’s enough space between your bodies to have another couple standing between you. For the life of you you aren’t sure how close you’re supposed to stand to him and something so simple that most people don’t think about shouldn’t be stressing you out this much. Stand close enough to hold hands? To have his jean jacket rubbing against your soft sweater? To have his arm slung around your shoulders? Why is it so complicated?
While your mind is turning over that question your other senses become overwhelmed when you enter the festival grounds. Screams are emitted from some of the carnival rides, couples and families walk around with oversized teddy bears in their arms, kids run around playing tag. And the smells. Oh, the smells are enough to make your mouth water and your stomach to grumble.
Corn on the cob is being sizzled to perfection on grills. Cinnamon and apples and every deep fried food imaginable is being cooked to perfection from red and white striped tents. Hamburgers and brats are being served to hungry customers and you even smell what you think are greasy onion rings and french fries.
There’s a little something for everyone here.
Booths with lines around the corner for face paintings and a fortune teller, a big wooden barrel where a few people are bobbing for apples, balloon dart games, even a few businesses handing out cards and offering promotions.
“Have you ever been here before?” you ask, eyes scanning and trying to take everything in.
“Naw. Not really my scene,” he says with a simple shrug of his shoulders, but when he sees your face fall he silently curses himself for saying something so stupid. “But uh I’m glad to be here with you.”
It sounds forced to your ears and you’re about to tell him that you can leave, go find something else to do or maybe just call this a day because nothing seems to be working out.
Instead of doing that though you continue the walk through checking out the booths and the rides and because it’s more crowded here than in the parking lot you’re both forced a little closer together. Each time his arm or elbow or leg brushes up against yours you get a little jolt of electricity that you try to tamp down because you’re still not sure if he even likes you or wants to be here with you.
A group of rowdy kids screams red rover as they barrel into you causing you to stumble and nearly trip a few feet in front of Eddie. Not your finest move, but at least you didn’t fall flat on your face.
He touches your shoulder gently and when you turn around his eyes are wide, cheeks flushed a little deeper pink, reminiscent of a gorgeous summer sunset and when he drops his hand he starts gesturing to your body. You glance down and don’t see any dirt or food on the front of your skirt and sweater, but his hand gestures are growing more urgent, lowering down and you still have no clue what he’s trying to tell you.
“You uh… those kids…” he swallows thickly before just blurting it out. “You’ve got some cotton candy uh behind you.”
It takes your brain a few seconds to figure out what he’s trying to tell you, but when you slide your hands down your lower back and to your butt your fingers come away with sticky pastel cotton candy. “Oh my god,” you whisper as your cheeks heat up and you frantically try to push it all away, but it’s so much stickier than when you remember as a kid and it seems like with each sweep of your fingers and hands all you’re doing is creating a bigger mess.
You don’t want to, but you slowly turn around so your back is to him and glance over your shoulder. “Is it all gone?”
His knitted eyebrows and mouth turn down into a frown that tells you no, not exactly.
“Can I uh? Do you mind?” Again with the hand gestures. His silver rings glint in the sunshine and you nod your head. The first touch of his hands against your lower ass makes you jump and flinch and he steps back, hands in the air in surrender and once again you’re feeling stupid and naive.
“Sorry, sorry,” you say quickly, head hanging down, wondering if you should tell him this is your first date and you’ve barely even kissed a guy so it’s just a little strange for one to be brushing your ass.
There’s a food vendor a few feet away and you stomp over to grab probably more napkins than you need as you try to rub at the sticky mess, but you’re only spreading it wider and you’re close to tears because seriously how much worse can this day get before you shove a wad in his hands. “Can you help, please?”
“Yeah, yeah, just uh, hold still, kay?” This time you’re more prepared for his touches. They’re gentle, methodical and though it’s not perfect he’s managed to pick off most of the cotton candy. With your back still turned to him you quickly wipe at your eyes as he tosses the napkins in the garbage.
You resume your walking in silence with a few stolen glances here and there, a few times you both get jostled together by impatient people frustrated at your slow pace.
Stopping in front of a drink tent your mouth waters when you inhale the spice of cinnamon and apples. Reaching in your purse for your wallet Eddie beats you to it, grabbing his own as he pays for two cups of piping hot cider.
“You didn’t have to-”
“I don’t mind-”
You’re both trying to talk over one another and it’s not working and so you give up, choosing instead to offer him a small smile as thank you.
The paper cup is hot against your palms, but it still feels nice against the slight chill that’s entered the air. There’s an empty bench up ahead and Eddie nods his head towards it and you agree. Glancing down at the seat to make sure there’s nothing else that can be spilled on your outfit you perch on the edge, blow on the cider before taking a slow sip as you let out a quiet moan.
Eddie nearly chokes on his own sip when he hears you because he was not expecting that to come out of your mouth and now that he has he can’t stop staring at you and jesus Robin was right he’s being a downright creep. It’s a miracle you agreed to this set up.
For a few moments you both bask in each other's company and in the festivities that are going on around you, but it doesn’t take long for even this peaceful moment to be broken by the buzzing of a wasp.
“Shit,” Eddie mutters. He’s not scared of too many things, but wasps? Fuck those devil monsters. He swats it away, but it’s still buzzing around first by his cup of apple cider and then closer to yours. You don’t notice it and when you lift the cup up to your mouth he acts first, thinks later.
His large hand swats the cup out of your hand, still hot cider splashing down around by your feet, the cup yards away from you. You’re shocked, mouth hanging open, eyes blinking dumbly at him and as if to somehow make up for what he just did or because he’s an awkward idiot who’s hopeless around pretty girls he also throws his cup to the ground.
The wasp that had been buzzing around you both is now distracted by the spilled sugary drink and it’s then that you notice it, but that still doesn’t explain his behavior and the silence is stretching on and oh my god how much worse could this date get?
“Sorry,” he mutters and he at least has the decency to look a little embarrassed for tossing your drinks to the ground. “Wasps scare the shit out of me.” He ends it with a little chuckle and despite how awful the day has been you’re soon joining in and giggling with him as you hang your head in your hands.
“They scare me too,” you admit softly before adding, “I didn’t even see it. Or hear it. And to think I almost drank it!” You give a little shudder at just how close that thing was to your mouth and sure, maybe it was a little dramatic the way Eddie chose to deal with it, but given the way your day has been going it fits in.
“Naw, I’d never have let you drink it,” he says, giving you a lopsided smile and for a few seconds you think maybe this could be salvaged, but when the damn demon wasp finishes with the spilled cider it makes another go at the two of you and Eddie is quick to jump up with you following his lead as you make another loop around the carnival grounds.
Tugging at the sleeve of your sweater you sigh and glance at him. “Maybe that’s a sign we should cut this date short.” You don’t want to, but nothing seems to be going right and as your words hang in the air you realize what you just said and you’re staring at him with an open mouth and wide eyes as you try to clarify. “Not that… I mean I’m not sure this was even a date? I know it was kind of forced on us and I guess I always thought that a first date was supposed to be nice and not one disaster after another. It’s been memorable though.”
“I’d call it a date,” he says, giving you an easy smile. “Right? Always hoped I’d be more smooth with the ladies, but I guess that didn’t happen today.” He looks so different now, shoulders relaxed, another smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“You were a complete gentleman, Eddie.”
“Even when I was touching your a-”
You don’t give him a chance to finish that sentence as your cheeks burn hot and you giggle. “Yes, even then.”
A few more minutes pass with a silence that’s not nearly as awkward as it was at the beginning of the day. And this time when he speaks you can practically hear the smile in his voice.
“So we both agree this was a date?” He doesn’t give you time to stumble and stutter or apologize your way through a response before he’s talking again, this time it’s a little slower and the smile isn’t as prominent in his words. “That mean you, uh maybe wanna try this again another time?”
Your heart swells and balloons and you can’t keep the smile off your face no matter how hard you try and you don’t want to appear too eager and scare him off, but if nothing about today has scared him off you don’t think this will either as you all but shout out a yes please.
Eddie can’t quite believe his ears when you agree so quickly and he wants to pinch himself because there’s a part of him that still believes after the disaster of today you’d want a redo, but the smile on your face and your bright eyes indicate otherwise. His fingers inch a little closer to yours in front of the merry go round, but he doesn’t try to grab your hand, not yet at least, instead he lets his fingers rest next to yours as you both watch the happy couples and families enjoy the fair while he plots out what he hopes is a better second date.
A/N: If you enjoyed reading about these two they'll be back in Hayride!
I'll Love You 'til the Grass Around My Gravestone is Deceased
harry potter timeline sirius black x fem!reader
CHAPTER THREE (see full series list here)
Tumblr media
1992
The first day of term is always fun. Everyone arrives at breakfast happy and excited, the first years arriving particularly early because they're scared they'll miss it.
You take a seat at the staff table, a copy of Astronomy's Articles under your arm. You settle yourself between McGonagall and Hagrid. McGonagall's currently engaged in conversation with Dumbledore.
"Morning, Hagrid," you greet cheerfully and he looks up, giving you a great grin.
"G'mornin'! 'appy first day of term!" He booms and you chuckle.
"Happy first day of term."
You pile breakfast items on your plate, summoning a teapot from the middle of the table to pour some tea into your cup. With a wave of your wand, Astronomy's Articles opens itself in front of you on the first page, and you read as you eat.
"Anything interesting?" You hear Dumbledore's voice beside you and with the call of your first name you turn to him and shrug.
"Nothing I hadn't seen myself! There should be a meteor shower at around 12-ish on Friday night," you reply. "Meteor showers are wonderful, I would definitely recommend."
Dumbledore hums thoughtfully. "I have had the treat of viewing quite a few meteor showers in my lifetime," he says. "Once, I could have sworn that the meteors seemed to form the shape of a very animated chocolate frog."
McGonagall chuckles quietly and you join her.
"How do you know it was a chocolate frog and not just a regular frog?" You ask.
Dumbledore considers this for a moment. "I suppose I must have had a particular craving for chocolate that evening," he replies simply.
His plate is empty, clearly having awoken much earlier than you, and you return to your breakfast, flipping the page of your magazine onto a puzzle page, littered with crosswords, word searches, anagrams and some sudoku squares. Something for later, you think.
"How was your summer, Minerva?" you ask. Her first name has always felt odd on your tongue, after you spent 7 years of your life calling her Professor McGonagall.
"Oh, it was fine," she replies. "Nothing too extravagant."
"Did you go to any quidditch matches?"
"A few. I seen — "
"RONALD WEASLEY!"
You jump at the loud yell, turning to the source of the screech: a red envelope floating in front of Ron Weasley's face at the Gryffindor table. You exchange a look with McGonagall, returning your eyes to the scene playing in front of you.
Mrs Weasley's outraged yells are so loud that plates and spoons rattle on the Gryffindor table. Harry is wide-eyed beside him, watching in horror as Ron dips so low in his seat that only the top of his crimson forehead was visible.
" — STEALING THE CAR, I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SURPRISED IF THEY'D EXPELLED YOU, YOU WAIT TILL I GET HOLD OF YOU, I DON'T SUPPOSE YOU STOPPED TO THINK WHAT YOUR FATHER AND I WENT THROUGH WHEN WE SAW IT WAS GONE — "
You wince, knowing well how it feels to receive a howler at school.
Poor Ron.
"— LETTER FROM DUMBLEDORE LAST NIGHT, I THOUGHT YOUR FATHER WOULD DIE OF SHAME, WE DIDN'T BRING YOU UP TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS, YOU AND HARRY COULD BOTH HAVE DIED — "
Harry's face has turned the same shade as Ron's, and every eye in the Great Hall is on the howler.
"Bloody hell, just run out of the hall, Ron..." you mutter under your breath in exasperation.
McGonagall hums in agreement beside you.
"— ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED — YOUR FATHER'S FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT AND IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT BACK HOME."
The howler then spins around to Ron's younger sister, Ginny, and its tone changes drastically. "Oh, and Ginny, dear, congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud."
The howler drops and bursts into flames and curls into ashes. Harry and Ron sit stunned, as though trying to comprehend just what had a happened. A few people laugh before gradually a babble of talk breaks out again.
You chuckle, opening your magazine again and flipping the next page. "Happens to the best of us."
✧*。✧*。
You wander down to the dungeons, your shoes audibly clicking against the hard stone floors. You wrap your arms tightly around your body, your hands bunching your woolly sweater at your sides.
You had spotted a poster for a 'duelling club' run by Lockhart and it had piqued your interest. You wanted to attend to make sure someone didn't die or get fatally injured because Lockhart seemed the type to not know a defensive jinx if it punched him in the face.
You push open the big wooden doors to the room he's occupied. Several students turn to look at you, but your eyes land on another man standing beside Lockhart, an unimpressed expression on his face.
Hm. Looks like Snape and I have had the same idea.
"Seems we have a late comer! No matter, join in with the rest, young lady!" Lockhart chirps.
You sigh, walking up to him to stand next to Snape. "It's me, Gilderoy." You tell him your name and he just blinks blankly.
You narrow your eyes in confusion. "We work together."
Blank.
"I literally sat beside you at breakfast this morning? You asked if I'd read your book."
Lockhart just stares in confusion, before his face contorts into an overdramatic picture of recognition. "Ah, yes! Yes, of course, I — uh — I recognise you, yeah! Of course I do!"
You scoff, rolling you eyes as he turns around to face the students. "Prick," you mutter under your breath.
You watch as Lockhart steps out onto the long, narrow stage and walks ostentatiously along it. "Gather round, gather round! Can everyone see me? Can everyone hear me?"
A beat.
"Excellent! Now, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Duelling Club, to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves as I myself have done on countless occasions — for full details, see my published works."
You have to cough to cover up your derisive snort.
"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape," Lockhart says, flashing a wide smile. The look on Snape's face when Lockhart calls him his assistant is absolute gold. Then, his eyes lock on you and he pauses for a moment, nodding to himself. "And, well, we also have our dear, uh...Astrology Professor here too!"
"Astronomy."
"Astronomy! That's what I said," Lockhart continues. "Professor Snape tells me he knows a tiny little bit about duelling himself and has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration before we begin. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry — you'll still have your Potions master when I'm through with him, never fear!"
You raise your eyebrows, glancing over at Snape as he pulls his wand from inside his robes, stepping out onto the stage to face Lockhart. As much as you have a...tumultuous relationship with Snape, you would definitely not be as keen and enthusiastic as Lockhart is to try and duel him.
You're excited to see that smug grin wiped off Lockhart's face, though you would love to do it yourself. You bet he'd remember your name after that.
Lockhart and Snape turn to face each and bow, though Lockhart's is considerably more flamboyant with much twirling of his hands while Snape jerks his head irritably. They raise their wands in front of them.
"As you see, we are holding our wands in the accepted combative position," Lockhart tells the silent crowd. "On the count of three, we will cast our first spells. Neither of us will be aiming to kill, of course."
"One...two...three — "
Both of them swing their wands up and over their shoulders. Snape cries, "Expelliarmus!".
There's a dazzling flash of scarlet light and Lockhart's blasted off his feet, flying backwards off the stage wildly and smashing into the wall.
You bite your lip to stop your laughs.
You notice some of the Slytherin students cheering while others nervously watch Lockhart in anticipation, collectively breathing a sigh of relief when he unsteadily staggers to his feet.
The look on his face is priceless.
"Well, there you have it" he says, tottering back onto the platform. "That was a Disarming Charm — as your see, I've lost my wand — ah, thank you, Miss Brown. Yes, an excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind my saying so, it was very obvious what you were about to do. If I had wanted to stop you it would have been only too easy. However, I felt it instructive to let them see..."
"Well, what spell would you have used, Professor Lockhart?" You pipe up, ultimately stirring the pot to make for a more interesting evening.
You remember when there was a duelling club in your school days. You'd had the pleasure of being paired with Lucius Malfoy, delicately delivering a few hexes to him. He'd had to walk around school with an ear the size of his ego, which was quite the difficult feat because it was exceptionally gargantuan.
Lockhart blinks stupidly at you, rolling a hand through his wavy blond hair. "Well, the Shield Charm, of course!"
"Shouldn't you demonstrate that as well?"
"Well, I — I hardly think the students want to see another demonstration...I'm sure they're dying to try it for themselves!" Lockhart stumbles.
You shrug. "I just think the students might want to witness...what does it say in your book? 'An extraordinary display of barely comprehensible wizarding prowess'?"
Lockhart's mouth opens and closes twice as he tries to think of something to say in return, before landing on a great grin and wiggle of his eyebrows at you. "Well, alright then! I'll let you try and defend my spells, young lady!" He eyes Snape, laughing nervously. "Best give you a break, Professor Snape!"
Snape mutters something under his breath and steps off the end of the stage to stand beside his Slytherin students.
You pull your wand from your pocket, facing Lockhart, bowing.
"One...two...three!"
"Expelliarmus!"
"Protego!"
A blast of red light explodes from Lockhart's wand, and as though there was an invisible shield in front of you, it bounces off harmlessly and is deflected into the roof.
Lockhart lets out a relieved sigh, as if he was expecting it to rebound and hit him instead. He chuckles lightly, regaining his confidence. "It's a good thing I went easy on you there!"
You blink at him, unimpressed. "Truly."
"Enough demonstrating! I'm going to come amongst you now and put you all into pairs. Professors, if you'd like to help..."
You start moving through the crowd, but Snape beats you to Harry, Ron, and Hermione first. You watch as he splits the two boys up, Ron huffing as he moves over to Seamus Finnigan, and Snape beckons Draco Malfoy over to pair with Harry.
You wince, well aware of their rivalry. They almost remind you of James and Snape when they were young, though that was a much more inequal affair at the time.
You sigh, pairing others together and stepping out of their way to observe their moves.
Well.
Disastrous is a kind word for the carnage you witness.
Lockhart is screaming hysterically over the battling crowd, attempting to quell the fights. The pair in front of you, Pansy Parkinson and Parvati Patil, are unleashing whatever horrible spells they can think of. Pansy's face has broken into a million boils, and Parvati's left hand is currently repeatedly hitting her own face.
"Hey!" You shout at the two. "Finite Incantatem!"
Parvati's arm stops moving, and Pansy's face stops breaking out. Some of the boils recede and disappear, while some linger and you sigh.
"Madam Pomfrey's," you say to her and she scampers off, screeching about Parvati on her way. "Where the bloody hell did they learn those spells..." you move away from Parvati.
Lockhart skitters through the crowd, looking at the aftermath of the duels. "I said disarm only. I think you may need another demonstration on how to block unfriendly spells...how about a volunteer pair — Longbottom and Finch-Fletchley, how about you?"
"A bad idea, Professor Lockhart," says Snape. "Longbottom causes devastation with the simplest spells. We'll be sending what's left of Finch-Fletchley up to the hospital wing in a matchbox. How about Malfoy and Potter?"
You scowl. How could he be so cruel? "Mr Longbottom is perfectly capable of performing a simple shield spell, Professor Snape."
He glares at you, black eyes glinting maliciously. "Well, best not allow for any risks, yes?"
"You're being unreasonable — "
Lockhart looks between the two of you, as though choosing which side is the safer option. In other words, which of you he'd least like to piss off.
"Mr Malfoy, Mr Potter, let's see how you fare!" Lockhart booms nervously and you click your tongue, glaring at Snape. His face contorts into a twisted smile as the two boys step up onto the stage.
"Now, Harry," Lockhart says, "when Draco points his wand at you, you do this."
He raises his own wand, attempting a complicate sort of wiggling action.
He drops it.
He picks it up, saying, "Whoops — my wand is a little over-excited."
Snape bends down to Malfoy's ear, whispering something in it. Harry looks nervously up at Lockhart and says, "Professor, can you show me that blocking thing again?"
Lockhart cuffs Harry merrily on the shoulder. "Just do what I did, Harry!"
"What, drop my wand?"
You snort. He is his father's son, that's for sure.
Lockhart isn't listening though, excitedly shouting, "Three...two...one...go!"
Malfoy raises his wand quickly and yells, "Serpensortia!"
The end of his wand explodes. You watch in shock as a long, black snake shoots out of it, falling heavily onto the floor between them and raises itself, ready to strike.
"Don't move, Potter," Snape says lazily, clearly enjoying the spectacle in front of him. "I'll get rid of it."
"Allow me!" Lockhart shouts, and before you can do anything, he brandishes his wand at the snake and there's a loud bang, throwing the snake ten feet up into the air and landing back down on the floor with a loud smack. Enraged and hissing furiously, it slithers straight towards Justin Finch-Fletchley and raises itself again, fangs bared, poised to strike.
Panic sets in through your body and you flick your wand, frantically yelling, "Immobu — "
Then, a hissing sound. You watch in disbelief as Harry walks forward towards the snake, hissing at it, and it slumps to the floor, docile, its eyes now on Harry.
Justin stares at Harry in horror. "What do you think you're playing at?" He shouts, and storms out of the hall.
"Harry..." you say gently, trying to appear calm and collected, despite genuinely thinking you may have jumped out of your skin.
Snape steps forward, waving his wand, and the Snape vanishes in a puff of black smoke.
Ron grabs the back of Harry's robes, tugging it and pulling him out of the hall. It's utterly silent and tense in the room and you swallow hard.
"Alright, everyone, I think it's time to get going," you announce, and the students obediently depart from the room, muttering between themselves.
Snape makes to leave but you grab onto the arm of his robe angrily and he turns to glare at you.
"What were you thinking, telling Malfoy to summon that snake? He was supposed to be practicing a shield charm!" You snap.
"A let down on Potter's part. He was unable to cast the shield charm."
"Oh, don't give me that. You knew what you were playing at, you shifty — "
"It is my fault," Lockhart chimes in and you think you can genuinely feel your will to live slipping from your grasp. "I weakened the snake to allow for young Mr Potter to have a better chance, but it seems I should have — "
You spin and glare at Lockhart. "Oh, really, is that what you were doing? Because it seemed to me like you just mumbled out whatever sounds came to your thick skull and hoped it'd do something!"
"Now, now, young lady — "
"It's Professor, you dimwit! I am a grown woman, I am your colleague! Don't patronize me!"
You scoff, anger bubbling terribly in your veins, as you brush off the front of robes and glare at the two idiot men in front of you. "Don't you ever put your students in danger again. You should be ashamed of yourselves."
You spin on your heel and angrily storm out of the hall.
SUMMARY |  Haechan is still in the hospital but you’re back to help him with his treatment. I didn't think this could be any smuttier than part 1 but I guess I stand corrected lol. It is was it is lol. Thanks to @haechansfingers and @fnafgirl87 for asking about a part 2! I hope you enjoy it!
Part 1 here
Tumblr media
The hospital room is bathed in soft, muted sunlight streaming through the window. Haechan, dressed in a hospital gown, sits propped up in his bed, his right ankle elevated. He flips through a magazine absentmindedly, his expression a mix of boredom and discomfort.
You enter the room with a warm smile. Your presence instantly brightens the room, and Haechan can't help but grin.
“Well, hello there Nurse Na. I think I need some extra-special attention today.” Haechan cheekily said.
You chuckled and approached his bedside, your dark hair cascading around your shoulders. You gave him a teasing grin. “Oh, you do, do you? What kind of attention are we talking about?”
Haechan winks playfully, and you roll your eyes affectionately.
“You're lucky I like you, Haechan.” You smiled. “So what can I help with today?”
“Can you help me use the bathroom?” Haechan asked. “I’d go but my ankle…”
“No worries, let’s go.” You said as you gently guided Haechan to the bathroom. You opened the door for him and he made his way into the room.
As soon as you close the door behind him, you help him on the toilet. You pulled off his pants and threw them across the room.
He raised an eyebrow at you in surprise.
“You know you don’t have to be shy, right? It’s just us. Besides, I know you wanted help with something else..” You said as you slowly lower yourself onto your knees in front of him.
“True.” He chuckled. “You seem to know what I want.”
You purred. “That’s because I love taking care of you.”
Haechan smiled. “So what are you going to do now?”
“First things first, we need to clean up your cock.” You replied with a mischievous grin. “Now be a good boy for me.”
Haechan watched with wide eyes and you quickly knelt down beside his legs, grabbing his shaft and guiding it toward your mouth. As soon as you took it between your lips, Haechan let out a loud moan.
“God, that feels amazing! You really know how to take care of me.” He exclaimed.
With a satisfied smirk, you continued to tease his shaft until he was completely erect. You then looked up at him and winked. “And since you already told me you wanted some extra special attention, why not return the favor?”
“Anything for you, noona.” Haechan said as he leaned forward to grab your head and bring you closer. Your hand moved up to his stomach, and you held him firmly while you gripped his cock, moving your hands up and down the length of it.
“Noona, please stop teasing me.” He begged. “I’m going to come if you keep doing that.”
“I thought you wanted to enjoy the show?” You joked as you pushed him back onto the toilet seat.
“Of course, I did, but this is more fun.” Despite his sprained ankle, Haechan pinned you to the floor.
“You know what I really want, Haechan?” You asked, looking up at him. “I really want you to eat me out.”
“Mmm…I would love to see how you taste.” Haechan murmured out, kissing your nose gently. “Now if you don’t mind…I’d like to eat your pussy.”
You snorted at his choice of words and rolled your eyes. “Be my guest.”
With that, you crawled up towards his face and sat yourself on top of his mouth, grinding your pussy into his face. Within moments, Haechan licked his lips and bit your lip playfully, sending a jolt of electricity straight to your pussy. With a chuckle, you leaned forward and pulled him closer to you, your legs wrapping around his head. His tongue flicked your clit and you moaned loudly, bucking against his face, spreading your pussy open further. In seconds, he licked your clit again, this time taking his tongue and running it along the edge of your slit, getting your juices dripping down onto his chin.
You moaned out louder and arched your back, pushing your pussy onto his face harder, wanting him to lick you deeper. Suddenly, you felt his tongue pushing past your entrance, making you gasp and pull away. Before you could do anything, Haechan brought his hands under your ass, lifting you higher on his mouth, his tongue now inside your pussy. Your pussy muscles gripped at his tongue and Haechan laughed, pushing his finger inside of you. At the same time, he thrust his tongue deeper inside of you, moving it in different directions, driving you crazy.
“Oh god…oh god…ahhh…ahhhhh…” You moaned out, trying to control your breathing, tears forming in your eyes from how amazing it felt. “Fuck…how does your tongue feel so good?”
“You’re welcome.” Haechan hummed out.
The heat from his breath hit your clit and the vibration of his voice sent another wave of pleasure shooting through your body. You grabbed the sides of his face and shoved his head closer, whimpering as he kept eating you out.
“God, you taste good.” Haechan moaned out, swirling his tongue around your clit.
“Y-yes…please keep doing that…make me come…” You begged.
A smile formed on his lips as he stuck out his tongue and ran it up your slit, your juices flowing freely down onto his mouth. After making you squirm on his face for a few minutes, Haechan stopped and looked up at you.
“So did you enjoy that?” He grinned mischievously.
“More than I thought possible.” You smiled back. “Thank you for letting me ride your face.”
“My pleasure.” Haechan said.
“Now let me return the favor.” You said, crawling down his body.
Haechan smirked, watching you crawl down his body. Once you were sitting between his legs, you took his throbbing cock into your hand and slowly stroked it, sending a jolt of electricity right through his body.
“Mmm…I love the feel of your hand wrapped around my cock.” Haechan sighed happily.
Smiling, you kissed his cockhead softly before licking it once. Then twice. Then three times. You moved your tongue around the head and Haechan moaned, shivering with excitement.
“How does that feel?” You asked softly.
“It feels great…you have such soft lips.” Haechan groaned.
You sucked his dick deep into your mouth, enjoying the way his hips began to rock back and forth against your face. As you continued sucking his cock, you felt Haechan wrap his fingers around your hair and gently tug on it. With a small moan, you used your other hand to start massaging his balls.
“Oh fuck…goddd…aahhhh….” Haechan groaned.
You moaned and deep throated his cock again, swallowing every inch until you reached the base. Once there, you lifted your head slightly and started sliding your tongue over his shaft. As you kept sliding your tongue over his dick, you started bobbing your head up and down, bringing Haechan closer and closer to climax. Soon enough, he pulled your hair roughly and moaned out.
“Oh shit! Ahhhh….I’m gonna cum!”
Before he finished cumming, you had already swallowed all of his load and closed your eyes.
“Good job.” You said happily. “That was pretty good. How about we try something else?”
“Are we finally getting to the main part?” Haechan let out a laugh. “You think Jaemin would figure out what’s going on?”
“Funny story.” You said, straddling his hips. “Jaemin actually told me to fuck you.”
“Oh really?” He asked, one hand at your waist, the other coming up your uniform shirt to grasp your breast. “And why would your cousin suggest that?”
“Because yesterday you were testing my nerves by calling me all the time.” You frowned. “I needed a way to shut you up so my fellow nurse and Jaemin told me to just fuck you.”
“Well then we should probably make the most of it while we have his permission.” Haechan panted out, rubbing your clit, the hand between your legs not giving you enough friction. “You have no idea how badly I want to fuck you right now.”
With that, you lowered yourself onto his dick and rocked your hips, riding him until you felt his tip at your entrance.
“Goddamn…your pussy feels so tight.” Haechan groaned out. “What do you want me to do, noona? Tell me how you want me to fuck you.”
You grinded harder on his dick, moaning loudly, and grabbed his arms, placing them behind his back so he wouldn’t be able to move. Just as Haechan was about to push himself into you, you suddenly pulled away, leaving him confused. “Wait…what’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong.” You said quickly. “Just remember to keep those hands behind your back.”
“Alright, but why are you pulling away?” Haechan frowned. “Do you not want me inside of you?”
“Of course I want you inside of me, but you need to promise me you won’t move.” You said seriously.
“Promise me.” You said firmly.
“Okay.” Haechan nodded.
Still holding onto his arms, you lowered yourself down slowly until you felt the tip of his dick press against your entrance. It felt warm and wet, like nothing you had ever experienced before. Haechan slowly slid into you, filling you completely and causing you to moan.
“Oh god. That feels so fucking good.” Haechan grunted.
“You know you can say anything to me right?” You panted out.
“Anything?” Haechan asked.
“Yes, anything.” You said.
“I’ve always wondered…do you prefer me to go slow or hard?” He asked, leaning forward, capturing your nipple in his mouth.
“Hmm…that depends.” You moaned out, pushing yourself back against him.
“On what?” Haechan teased.
“On whether you can hold out or not.” You smirked.
Haechan chuckled. “We’ll find out soon enough, won’t we?”
You groaned loudly and wrapped your arms around his neck. “Don’t stop. Please…don’t stop.”
“Does that mean you want more?” He smirked.
“Yes please. Fuck me harder. Harder…harder…oh god.” You groaned out, struggling to catch your breath.
“You know, I'm glad Jaemin suggested for you to fuck me.” Haechan whispered into your ear.
“You should be glad that I decided to go through with it.” You let out a satisfying sigh. “Fuck, your cock feels good.”
“Yeah? That makes two of us.” He growled out, grinding himself against you harder. “Your pussy feels great too. Like it was made for my cock.”
With that, Haechan leaned in close to your ear and nibbled on it, making you squirm with pleasure.
“I wonder what else it's been made for?” He murmured quietly, moving his hand down your body to stroke your clit. The sensation caused you to moan and arch your back.
“What do you think?” You purred.
“I think I'll find out soon enough.” He winked and with that, he thrust into you faster, fucking you deeper than you've ever been fucked before. You threw your head back and bit down on your bottom lip as he pounded into you, finally grabbing your hips.
“God yes…fuck!” Your nails dug into his skin slightly as you bucked your hips, pushing your ass up towards him.
He let out a pleased grunt as you pushed down onto him even harder. It didn’t take long until he started moaning as well, reaching down to wrap your thighs around his hips, pulling you close to his body.
“Come on…let’s get this over with.” He grunted out. “I want to feel you come on my dick.”
“Do it…come for me.” His voice was strained as he thrust up into you, your breasts bouncing against his chest.
It took no time for your orgasm to start building inside of you, Haechan’s grunts turned into heavy panting as he felt you tighten around him, his fingers digging into your thighs tightly. He knew he couldn’t hold out any longer, his own orgasm rushing through his body as you let out another satisfied moan, milking his cock even harder, hitting every sensitive part of him.
As you rode out your second orgasm, Haechan leaned forward, his mouth brushing against yours softly, his breath hot against your lips. As you looked up at him, his cock slowly slipped out of your pussy, which tightened instantly. The moment he pulled out of you, his cum dripped out of your pussy, splattering across the tile floor below.
“Should we clean up and get you back to your hospital bed?” You asked, letting out a satisfied smile. “Jaemin and the boys should be here soon. Be careful with your ankle.”
You could hear Haechan chuckle as he wrapped his arms around you again. “I think I need some more healing before I can leave this place. I love being with you. Thank you for making me feel so good today.”
You smiled at him and gently kissed his lips. “Anytime. Now let’s get you back to your bed. Let’s hope Jaemin doesn’t realize what happened today.”
“What’s the worst thing he can say? We fucked and it felt good?” Haechan chuckled. “Don’t worry. He won’t tell anyone.”
“I’m sure.” You nodded. “Now let’s get you dressed.”
You sat down next to him on his hospital bed, wrapping your arm around his shoulder and resting your head on his shoulder. He gently rubbed your arm with his free hand and leaned in to kiss your forehead.
“Just don’t push yourself too much. You have to heal properly or else you will get hurt again.” You warned.
“Got it.” He nodded. “But first, let me show you how much I appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”
Before you could say anything, he leaned in to kiss you passionately, putting his hands under your shirt and caressing your bare skin. After breaking off the kiss, Haechan looked down at you with a devilish grin. “But answer this question. What’s going to happen between us when I'm discharged?"
You paused for a moment, your eyes meeting his.
"Well, Haechan," you began softly, "I've enjoyed getting to know you these past few days. You're not like any other patient I've had, and I feel a connection with you."
Haechan's heart raced at your words, but he needed to know more. "Do you think this connection could go beyond the hospital?"
You smiled, a hint of blush gracing your cheeks.
"I think it's possible," you admitted. "But we should take it slow and see where it leads. After all, you'll need some time to fully recover from your injury."
Haechan nodded in agreement. "Of course, I understand that. I just don't want to lose touch with you once I'm out of here."
"Neither do I," you replied with a small smile. "This has been fun, hasn't it?"
A huge smile spread across Haechan's face.
"You have no idea," he replied, holding your gaze with his beautiful eyes.
"Maybe we should go out on a date after you're released from the hospital?" You suggested, continuing to press your palm against his leg.
Before Haechan can reply, the door swings open, and your cousin Jaemin enters the room with his friends. Before he could catch you, you got up from your seat and picked up Haechan's chart, pretending to look over it.
Looked like Jaemin didn't notic anything. Jaemin is delighted to see that you’re attending to Haechan. He excitedly greeted Haechan. “Hey, Haechan! How's the ankle?”
Haechan grinned, liftening his hand in greeting. “Hey, Jaemin! It's getting better, but I can't wait to get out of here.”
Jaemin nods, turning his attention to you. “Thanks for taking care of him, noona.”
You gave him a sincere smile. “Of course, Jaemin. He's been a good patient, for the most part.”
Haechan smirks at your comment. He gave you a mischievous wink. “See, I told you I've been an angel.”
Renjun and Mark exchange amused glances, while Jeno laughs.
“Well, you're lucky to have such a dedicated nurse looking after you.” Jaemin chuckled.
Mark raising an eyebrow. “Dedicated, indeed.”
Renjun nudges Mark playfully, and they all share a knowing look. You blush, but maintain your professional composure.
“I should get back to work. Haechan, I'll bring your lunch in a bit.”
As you start to leave, Jaemin leans in closer to Haechan, speaking in a low tone that only he and his friends could hear. “So, Haechan, you and my cousin seem very close.”
“Did I ever tell you that I love you, my friend?” Haechan asked. “I always did have a thing for nurses.”
Mark, Renjun, Jeno and Jaemin share knowing smiles, and Haechan winks at them as they continue to tease him about his "special treatment" from Nurse Na.
As the banter continues, Haechan can't help but feel grateful for the care he's receiving, not only for his ankle but also for the unexpected connection he's formed with the beautiful nurse who has been by his side.
bottled up
pairing: eddie munson x fem!reader
summary: eddie wishes you could see yourself the way he sees you
a/n: inspired by @florestmoon ‘s more than enough fic🫶🏻💓 i love it sm, win a date with tad hamilton and that one cassie scene from euphoria. this is not proofread teehee
the first time eddie laid his eyes on you, he was whipped. and there’s no turning back
you’re hawkin’s high favorite girl. with a smile that make people fall to their knees, a touch to ease someone’s pain, and a voice so angelic it would put all angels up above to shame. nothing a guy wouldn’t do just to be with you and it has been proven by several boys at school with their endless pining.
eddie believes you have zero flaw. everything about you just screams perfect.
you’re not popular by any means. nor a cheerleader but you’re friendly with others even with the basketball team. and they like you too, despite you befriending the freak of the school. there are no social groups you despise. and people love you for it. unlike him who prefers to have a small circle to keep himself from getting hurt.
and don’t let him get started with that pretty brain of yours. you’re extremely smart and manage to pass all your classes with flying colors. never once gotten a C or D on your tests. all the teachers favor you of all. also, star of the volleyball team? what’s not to like?
up until today, he still questions why you hang out with him rather than the preppy jocks and cheerleaders who have been asking you to join their gang. your answer is always a no. eddie is who you want to be friends with from the very beginning.
“good news!” you cheerfully announce your arrival, pulling out a chair from eddie’s table. “there’s a costume party tonight and i want you to come with me! I’ve listed about twenty things we can wear.”
eddie slows down his chewing to look at you with a bewildered expression. “you’re shitting me, right?”
“uh.. no?” your answer almost sounds like a question instead. “come on it’d be fun! you never go to things like this with me, and I want my best friend to be there”
eddie feels like someone stabs him in the heart hearing you call him a ‘friend’. it pains him so much to know that it’s all he’s ever going to be to you. nothing more.
“who’s party is it?” he asks, playing with his food as he leans back,
“Jacob from the basketball team” you shrug, flipping through your notebook. “here! you can be tommy lee and i can be cindy crawford. i mean, they didn’t date but they would be such a good match, don’t you think?”
we would be such a good match too, he wants to say. but he chooses not to,
“I don’t know sweetheart…” he sighs, looking down at the cut-off magazines of Tommy lee and Cindy Crawford you glued on the notebook. “it’s not really my scene.”
“the hideout is not my scene too, but I’m always there to support you and the band” you cross your arms, “tell him gareth!”
gareth shakes his head, eyes on his food as the rest of the boys snicker. “don’t drag me into this, you two sort this out yourselves”
that makes your groan and stomp your foot underneath the table. looking over back to eddie who put on a smirk and shrug his shoulders. “you’re asking the wrong people, y/n. why not nancy or robin? or Emma from your volleyball team?”
“nancy is hanging with Jonathan, robin’s working and I’m not talking to Emma right now. all she talks about is you, and I don’t like it” you grumble, popping a strawberry into your mouth,
“me? what did she say?” he asks curiously
“yes. she likes you and i don’t like that. call me selfish but you’re mine.” you respond nonchalantly, missing out on how eddie’s eyes widen. so are the rest of the boys. “so? pretty, pretty please? i don’t want anyone but you to come to the party. i promise i will do anything you want me to. i’d get down on my knees for you, right now.”
oh fuck, why did you have to say it like that? those words just send pure vibrations straight to his dick,
plus, seeing the puppy dog eyes and cute pout you have going on, eddie seems can’t find it in his heart to say no to you.
“alright sure, whatever” he tries to come off like he doesn’t care but there’s a tiny bit of happiness in him when you mentioned he’s the only person you’ve asked,
it makes him feel wanted.
with a squeal, you reach out in his direction and give him a big kiss on the cheek. which startles him but it’s not a surprise anymore. you’re just extremely affectionate. and he doesn’t know this but, Eddie is the only person you’re touchy with.
“thank you, thank you!! love you eds, I’ll see you guys later. I’m gonna go make myself busy with the outfits for tonight.” with that, you get up and bid the boys bye before rushing off out of the cafeteria and to the hallway,
eddie watches you go with a lovesick smile on his face. touching his cheek where your lips had tainted it, you’ve done it more than ten times by now. but it never fails to leave him speechless.
“you’re so in love with her, dude” jeff mentions, scoffing as he watches the long curly haired boy staring out into the open, refusing to move just one bit
he can’t even deny that anymore. Aeddie is most definitely fucked
a smile painted on your lips as you take a good look at yourself in the mirror. damn you look extra fine.
you had called one of your good friends earlier for some advice. thankfully she knows exactly what she was talking about when you mentioned about aiming the cher’s look.
yes, yes, you thought about going as cindy crawford but come on! who could resist cher? she’s the queen!
you’ve chosen a black floral lace bustier that compliments your breasts. and by that, it means having your tits barely covered by the material but you don’t mind. you love showing off your assets. paired with a short black sequin denim skirt and crystal platforms that your best friend would classify as ‘stripper shoes’ which you take as a compliment. strippers are hot. you refer to it as cinderella heels though.
the makeup is pretty glamorous you might say. it’s all colorful and you’ve added glitter in the corner of your eyes, topped with dark red lipstick that you know would make everyone go crazy. as for hair, you let it down naturally. no farah fawcett’s crap that steve told you to do.
as you fix yourself up over and over, there’s a sudden knock on the front door. a signature six knocks that you know very well. eddie munson is here to pick you up!
“coming!” you call out, quickly snatching your purse from the dresser and speed walk towards the door. cursing to yourself when you nearly trip over,
since your mom isn’t home, there’s no point of leaving her a note or anything like that. she’d be here tomorrow at lunch time anyway, she always does
you aren’t ready to witness the sight before your eyes when you open the door.
there he is. eddie munson in flesh. looking extremely—handsome, rockstar sexy, bite-able and…. god you can’t believe you’re saying this, delicious ?! Is that even the right word to describe someone, let alone your best friend?
“holy hell. ozzy pinch me” you mutter to yourself, eyeing him up and down to check him out.
eddie is dressed in an all-black tank too that’s tucked under his dark-washed jeans, showing off his chest and tattoos. if you could even call that a top because it barely covers anything?! who knew he could be such a slut sometimes. and he had the nerve to put his hair in a low ponytail. loose waves framing his pretty face. he looks completely different from any other day.
and—hold up, he’s wearing an eyeliner?!
“who are you supposed to be?” you can’t keep your eyes off him. he looks so good. “tommy lee?”
“close. richie sambora. guitarist from bon jovi. i figured tommy lee has been getting way overrated and i wanted to try something different” he says confidently as he also takes a good look on your appearance,
dear god, help the fuck outta him.
“a-and you are…”
“cher!” you smile, rubbing the material of your skirt. “wait a minute, didn’t richie sambora and cher-“
“dated? hell yeah! oh, sweetheart would you look at that. we read each other’s mind!”
with a giggle, you hush him up before closing the door behind you. linking your arms together as the two of you walk towards his van. cigarette hanging over his mouth. you frown at that. clearly not very supportive of him smoking but since he’s your best friend, you let him do your thing.
“don’t we look so good together! look at us. strutting and shit and about to steal the spotlight.”
he must think that you don’t understand how those words affect him and how badly he wanted it to be true.
“most definitely” he fakes a smile to hide the hurt in his heart. “most definitely.”
post arrival at the party, you tug Eddie's fingers towards the house despite his pleas on wanting to leave already. telling you how he changed his mind after seeing the number of people that were going to be there. yes, he hates crowds. which confuses you because this man performs in public with his band!
he keeps on whining and promising a good time together when it’s only the two of you. even tries to bribe you with an entire bag of greens he carries tonight.
but that doesn’t work.
“just for a while, okay? and then we can go and get high until the sun comes up” you hug his waist, “you’re gonna have so much fun. with me!”
eddie could only scoff, slinging his arm over your shoulder as both of you walked into the party. super freak by rick James blasting over the speakers with pretty LED lights attached to the ceilings. endless drunk chatters and laughter from the people. it’s just like any typical high school party
“i better. or else it’d be all for nothing.”
“no it won’t” you smile, “you should wear this more often. you look very handsome.”
his cheeks go hot when you feel the material of his top. “I’m nothing compared to you though, sugar” he puts his hand over his heart, pinky finger links with yours as the two of you reach the kitchen to grab a booze. “you’re going to make people’s head turns and shit. i turn around for a sec and some guy would sweep you off your feet.”
“nooo” you shake your head, pouring yourself vodka with coke into the cup and grabbing a beer for eddie. “you’re just trying to flatter me.”
“is it working?” he grins, cracking the beer open not breaking eye contact with you,
“a bit” you nod, hoisting yourself up to sit on the kitchen countertop with eddie standing in front of you. “you say that to all the other girls?”
“only my favorite,” he responds, referring to you as he sips on the cold beverage,
that makes your tummy tickle. eddie just has his own way of making you blush and create a tingling sensation through your body. he does it better than anyone you’ve come across to.
he truly is a heaven-sent.
“not that bad right? want to try some of mine?” you offer,
“i’m driving, remember?” he raises an eyebrow.
“one sip won’t kill you! when have you become a party pooper?”
“i’m not! I’m being careful” he laughs, “the principal wouldn’t like hearing his favorite student turned into a party freak, you know?”
“hey!” you slap his arm, dragging the word. “i am not a party freak. i just happen to know how to have fun unlike you!”
“you take that back” he pokes your sides, earning a giggle from you. “of course, I know how to have fun! you’re forgetting who brought the weed?”
“yeah yeah” you give him an eye roll but a smile remains on your face, “i’m so glad you came with me tonight. it means a lot to me, thank you.”
he beams at that, heart beating faster with the way you look at him. he finds your gaze so… hypnotizing. he could be so lost in those gorgeous eyes of yours and doesn’t ever want to be found.
It has been months that these feelings he has for you. they never truly disappeared, only becoming stronger each day. and he doesn’t want them to. he wants to drown himself in you, to taste every single lipgloss you have off of your mouth. to hold you in his embrace, when everything gets too much for him. he wants everything good in this world, but he doesn’t want them if you’re not with him.
and not just physically there with him but emotionally too. to tie his heart with yours because there’s no person he’d rather be.
“listen y/n, i need to tell you something—“
“hey y/n? you finally made it!”
eddie is interrupted by a loud noise coming from behind. he looks over your shoulder and grits his teeth to see Danny, one of Jason’s friends coming over. he fucking hates him. he hates his stupid blonde hair and baby blue eyes, two beautiful traits that he knows would have you falling in love.
how does he know you ask? you mentioned it to him before. danny is the one guy you have your eyes on for a while and he seems sweet based on brief conversations you’ve had with him.
he doesn’t like the sound of that. he doesn’t want you falling for another guy. he wants it to be him that you love. no one else
“danny, hey. yup i sure did!” you wave at him and watch him getting closer. “oh and I brought eddie here with me.”
danny looks over at him with a tight smile, nodding his head as a form of greeting. “sup, dude”
eddie doesn’t return it, only glaring at the jock, which he hopes you don’t see. his grip around the beer is tightening once he sees how danny looks at you. like you’re some piece of meat.
“how are you enjoying the party?” danny asks lamely, clearly not interested in small talks but you barely recognize it,
“like any other party. but the costume idea is cool. that’s why we’re going as a couple”
“oh, the two of you are dating?” danny points out, almost ready to get rejected,
and eddie wants to confirm it. to say yes to that question just so he can leave you the fuck alone and have you all to himself. he’s pissed because he can’t even get one minute alone with you at the party without some guy walking in and ruin the moment.
but before he could answer, you beat him to it. “no we’re not. just the costumes.”
danny releases some sort of sigh of relief that eddie can’t help but pick on. “oh well then can i talk to you for a sec?”
eddie isn’t stupid, he knows what danny means by that.
“uhm sorry I promised eddie, I’m staying with him for the rest of the party. plus it’s the only reason why i came here”
“I’m sure eddie can wait few minutes without you here. right man?”
one punch. that’s all it takes for him just to knock this dipshit out. but he can’t and he won’t do that. especially in front of you. despite the disgusting lust glinting across danny’s eyes, eddie knows how much you like him. and he doesn’t want to ruin that chance.
even if it means getting his heart broken. all that matters is if you’re happy.
“sure” he shoots a not-so-genuine smile. “i’ll be here.”
“are you sure? i don’t want to leave your side” you take his hand in his, giving it a squeeze
“I’m a big boy sweetheart, I’ll be fine” he jokes, pulling you down from the table. “not going anywhere.”
still, you feel unsure about leaving him. you feel bad because you did actually promise to stay with him until the two of you got sick of the party then ditch the fuck out to go have a smoke.
“okay” you give him a comforting smile. “i won’t be long”
eddie nods at that, glancing at how danny is quick enough to hold your hands so he could scurry you away from his presence. he hates it.
“come on, sweetheart”
you feel shy when it comes to talking to guys you are attracted to. it’s like you have no idea how to act normal around them, fear that they might look at you differently if you did one thing wrong.
and danny is one of those guys. he’s the second-star of a basketball player, popular with the ladies, and just overall—dreamy. has girls tripping over this pretty boy
he’s super nice too. letting you borrow his pen, walk you to classes, trying to pull a joke just to see you smile, and even engage in your favorite hobbies. seems like he is very much interested in you and it makes you feel hopeful.
he leads you upstairs so the two of you can have a little more ‘privacy’ because it’s far too loud downstairs. obviously you still haven’t caught his drift, thinking to yourself that danny actually wanted to talk to you. probably ask you out on a date, if you’re lucky enough?
“here. better, huh?” he smiles once you enter the dimmed light bedroom.
your mirror his expression, playing with your fingers as your eyes take a look around the place. hearing the door clicks and his footsteps from behind.
“you look gorgeous tonight.” his hands find its way around your waist making you gasp in surprise. “relax—you’re so jumpy”
“yeah—just nervous i guess.” you let out a breathless laugh before turning around to face him, lips just inches away. “s-so uhm, what did you want to talk with me about?”
his knuckles softly graze your shoulder blade and down to the side of your breast. “that can wait. you don’t mind, do you?”
“not at all” gulping when he begins to touch you like that, “j-just you know um—i can’t be too long”
he just nods, being completely dismissive. and in a second his mouth is on yours. hungrily kissing you while he palms your ass under the skirt. catching you by surprise
he’s being quite aggressive but this is what you wanted, is it? to be pushed down onto the bed while he hovers on top of you. hands roaming over your body as his mouth never leave yours.
the thing is though, this is not how you wanted it to start.
“wait wait stop” you push him off, “can we just take it slow? talk or something because i really don’t want to do this right now.”
he frowns, “what do you mean? we’re gonna talk later. come on baby, don’t shy away from me now”
danny leans back in to kiss you again but you back away. “no i know! It’s just, we haven’t gotten to know each other lately and—it’d be nice to have that”
he stares at you for a moment before standing up straight. you smile nervously, thinking that he’d agree, but instead, he scoffs. an annoyed expression taking over his face
“seriously, y/n? what the actual fuck?” you’re taken aback by his tone. not to mention the mockery laugh he heaves out.
“talk? that’s all you ever wanted to do. talk and talk! my god you fucking infuriating, you know that?! who the fuck do you think you are?!”
watching how he swiftly turns into a whole different person, terrifies you so much. something you truly never expected.
the smile drops from your face. “w-what?”
“you’ve done this to me for like—what, the third time? tease me then leave me hanging. you think i asked you to be in here because i was interested in you? in what you have to say? i don’t sweetheart” he plasters a sarcastic smile before continuing,
“wait, what do you m-mean?” fear and confusion starting to take over as you hear him voice another scoff
“god you’re fucking dumb” he hangs his head low. “you actually thought—when you talked to me about things you found interesting in is gonna make me like you? I’m only here just to fuck you, y/n not so we can be boyfriend and girlfriend.”
tears starting to form in your eyes, but you try your best to hold them in. not wanting to cry in front of him. nails digging into the skin of your palms, shoulders slumping as his words continue to pierce through your heart.
“everytime you open your mouth all i could think to myself is ‘who the fuck does this girl think she is?' y/n you’re so fucking. boring. nobody cares about that shit. i just played along hoping that i could get my dick wet but nope. shit didn’t work either.”
you watch how danny continues to throw insult after insult. ripping you apart until you have no dignity left inside. and you feel so, so stupid. stupid to think that anyone would ever like you for you. not just your body.
it hurts you that danny turns out to be someone who has such cruel intentions and you were so blind to actually see that. to think that he’d be sweet enough to ask you out and be the perfect boyfriend.
all that goes into the drain.
“i’m gonna tell you the truth since everyone is a little too chicken shit to say it.” he crouches down to your eye level with a scowl. “any guy who’s interested in beyond fucking you— is full of shit. you’re only good for a pair of nice tits and a hole to put it in. I’m pretty sure munson feels the same way.”
that does it. you push him off hard enough so you’ll be able to stand in your feet and walk out of the room. tears start to stream down your face as your rush downstairs to hide yourself in a bathroom before anyone could see.
you lean your back against the bath tub, sitting there with knees tucked against your chest. both hands covering your mouth to muffle the loud cries you let out. words cannot describe the pain you’re feeling right now. the way it’s taking over your mind and soul, that all you wanted to do is just to dig yourself up a hole and lay there.
you have no idea how this one will last
eddie has no idea how it happens. one minute he was drinking alone then the next, he has a girl coming up to his direction and flirt with him. at first, he thought about her only using him to get weed so he told her off,
but she insisted that it wasn’t about that. letting him know that she’s genuinely interested in having a conversation with him. so fifteen minutes later, eddie finds himself enjoying a presence of another person.
“you’re emma, right?” he asks, seeing her nod. “y/n told me that you like me.”
“oh god” she laughs, covering her face in embarrassment. “she didn’t have to say that! she made a promise not to tell.”
“i’m her best friend, of course she tells me everything” he proudly says, downing the rest of the beer before chucking it onto the bin,
“you don’t feel weird about that?”
“no why would i be?”
“usually when someone learns that there’s a guy or a girl like them, they usually avoid them like a plague.”
“oh, not me” he shakes his head. “I’d be so flattered to know someone actually like me.”
“kind of like you and y/n there?”
“huh? no, we’re just friends.” he confirms
she cocks her head to the side, “just friends? are you sure?”
“yes? why are you asking?”
“dunno it’s just—you look at her differently. like she’s your soulmate or something” with a shrug, she watches how he gulps and runs his fingers through his hair nervously,
“oh t-that’s nothing. we’re just friends.” he confirms yet again, “plus, she has his eyes on someone else and he’s taking her upstairs just now.”
“who?”
“danny” he almost groans at the name being spoken. “that fucking pretty boy who could easily sweep any girl off her feet and now he got y/n hooked too.”
he almost wanted to say ‘my girl’. almost
“you sure about that?” emma narrows her eyes over his shoulder. “because danny is there and y/n isn’t with him”
confusion written all over his face as he follows her gaze. turning around to find danny fist bumping with his friends before sipping on his drink. he looks displeased to say at least.
something’s not right…
“i gotta go—i need to look for her” he bids without even looking at her before walking away from the kitchen. hearing her protests but he pays no mind to it.
eddie think twice about going over to danny and give him a piece of mind, however you’re far more important than punching a jock right now.
“y/n?! y/n!” he fights through a sea of people, screaming your name. “it’s a party dumbass, she’s not going to hear you.”
his head frantically looks over to the sides, eyes trailing from upstairs and back to the party. bunch of curses falling over his lips as he fails to find you,
“hey you—with the… never mind, have you seen y/n?” he asks a random stranger who only shrugs in response, eddie jumps from one person to another. asking about you and give them brief description about your appearance,
“she went to the bathroom” one girl points her finger down to the hallway, “i don’t know what happened but she looked like she was about to have a break down”
hearing that just makes his heart drop, what could possibly go wrong?
“okay, thanks” he mutters, speed walking towards the bathroom at the end of the hall. which thankfully there aren’t people crowding the area, they’re all far too busy with get shitfaced.
“sweetheart?” eddie calls, knocking softly on the door. “it’s me—your eddie.”
you don’t give him a verbal answer. just a choked sob that leaves your throat, causing eddie’s heart to break even more.
“i’m coming in, okay?” he doesn’t wait for your response, twisting the door knob as he opens the door. a sight of you, breaking down on the floor, body shaking is enough just to create an unbearable heartache for him.
“oh, sweetheart” he closes the door softly, walking towards your figure as he kneels down. “what happened?”
you ignore him for a few seconds and eddie doesn’t push it more. after a while, you lift your head up to look at him. eyes red and teary with smudged mascara. cheeks coated with fresh tears.
is it bad to think how pretty you look even in this state?
his hands reach out. aching to hold your hands in his, he feels internally relieved when you don’t push him away.
“mind telling me what’s wrong? was it danny? did he do this to you?” he needs to control his rage when he speaks the name. yet how could he when that motherfucker just made his favorite girl cry.
a shaky sigh escape your mouth, broken gaze then falls down to the marble floor. a question builds up in your throat, one that you need to ask him after the horrible exchange you had with danny.
“do you think sex is the only thing I’m good for? am i—boring, apart from that?”
“what?! y/n why the fuck would you ask me that! of course it’s not true!”
again you ignore him, “i feel like there’s nothing else i could ever offer except my body—i mean isn’t that what most guys think of me?”
“no y/n! no! w-what, danny said that?!” he asks, gripping your hands tightly,
you sadly nod, inhaling a sharp breath,
“what exactly did he say to you?” eddie wants nothing more than to walk out of this room and beat the shit out of him,
“h-he said I’m only good for a pair of tits and a h-hole to put it in” you find yourself breaking again, hard sobs leaving your mouth. “and that guys who think their interested in me beyond that are liars—you included”
his eyes are widen, head shaking in furious manner that make his curls move. “y/n you cannot possibly believe that scumbag! why would you think that i-“
“you don’t have to lie eddie, it’s okay”
“i’m not!” he almost screams, “i’m not lying to you—you do know that you are far more interesting than anyone that goes to our fucking school?”
you only shrug, not knowing what to believe anymore. and it hurts him. it hurts him that you somehow trusts danny’s words over his.
“god y/n” he lets out a breathy laugh. “sweetheart, look at me”
he tucks his finger under your chin to get you to see him. and when you do, eddie feels like it’s the right time to say what he needs to say to you.
“y/n y/l/n you’re so unbelievably perfect.” he tells, hands moving to cradle your cheeks and he melts when you lean into his hold. “you are so brilliant—funny, gorgeous, caring and overall fucking. perfect. in my eyes” he breathes out,
your eyes slowly soften at his confession, heart finding its steady beat as your sobs slowly sink away.
“and-and i—fuck it— i made at least 37 songs about you. written so many love letters i lost count knowing that i will never have the balls to say it to you.” he admits, almost too shy. “you’ve become my muse— i look at you and i see home—for once in my life i feel like i could belong because you make me feel so special. you’re the heather locklear to my tommy lee sweetheart. wouldn’t want anybody else on my side when i sell out arenas except you.”
a short silence falls between the two of you before he continues,
“sweetheart all of the things you do—man, you wouldn’t want to know” he jokes, earning a small smile from you. gaze never tearing away from his. “you know, sophomore year? i used to sit in the back of the class, counted the times that you smiled at me and i died on days that you didn’t”
he smiles at the memory. you walked into the classroom in pretty little pink skirt that looked so adorable on you, from that moment on he was sure he fell down into the pit of love.
“y/n—“ he closes his eyes for a moment, because the next thing he’s about to say is going to change everything.
“i am so totally, completely, head over heels, bend over backwards, ten thousand percent, in love with you—have been for two years and it grew even more when i heard you recite lord of the rings with me—and my feelings are not going to change wether you’re capable of letting me or not—so fuck, okay that sounds so demanding—i’m sorry if this is out of line-“
you cut him off by smashing your lips against his, keeping your figure steady by holding onto his shoulders. you swallow the surprise gasp that he lets out.
eddie feels his heart is going to burst—his mind is going ballistic over the fact that his dream girl just kissed him.
holy fucking ozzy, you kissed him! he finds himself melt under your touch right away.
as for you—oh god his lips—where do you even begin? it feels so soft and warm molding against yours. but most importantly it feels so right.
how on earth could you be so blind all these time? months of pining and struggling to find the perfect someone when there has always been the one standing right in front of you but you never even took the time to actually see it.
eddie is the one,
as someone who holds the title for being a straight A student, you sure are fucking stupid when it comes to love.
after for what it feels like eternity, both of you pull away from the kiss. eyes slowly opening up to find another, a smile break out on each other’s faces. his grin though, far bigger than yours.
“holy shit” he laughs, holding you by the waist, “i’ve been wanting to do that for a long time”
“yeah?“ you bite your lip, giggling after. thumbs moving to graze his cheeks lightly, then down to his lips. “was it good?”
“sweetheart it’s even better than i imagined” he sees how you immediately shy away from the comment, head ducking down to avoid his stare. “i love you—fuck i love you so bad”
“i—i love you too” you finally say, brushing out the frizzy bangs that are covering his handsome face. “have been for so so long and i didn’t know you feel that way eds, i thought you had a thing for chrissy and i figured you know—i should back off and move on to someone else just so i can get over you”
“don’t” he quickly replies, not wanting to imagine her being in someone else’s hold. “i’m glad you didn’t because i don’t want you to ever get over me, baby”
you nearly go putty at the nickname, “you’re the only person I want from now on—only you”
his heart grows when you give him the reassurance he needed to hear. brown pupils even dilated when he looks at you—that’s when he knows for sure, he’s got it bad
and he wouldn’t want it any other way,
“all this time” he starts, tugging you closer to him as he buries his face in your neck. his curls tickling you and making you giggle. “i could’ve had you in my arms for two damn years”
“we are two idiots huh? but you finally got me anyway” you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him in for another kiss. feeling him smile through it.
“i finally got you”
i feel like this is bad…sorry bsjdjdjd i just had to finish it quickly and empty out my drafts
DALLAS “DALLY” WINSTON. ONE OF THE infamous Greasers. He would steal, smoke, slash tires, and start fights. But he was cute, as much as you hated to admit it. He was cute as hell, and there was no point in denying it.
You had never personally had an interaction with him, but you’ve heard about the things he does and you’ve seen him around. You couldn’t believe that the person that you’re seeing, smiling with his cute animal teeth and walking around with his friends, was the same person that you were hearing.
To be fair, though, he did do the stuff you were told about— and it was certainly no secret.
“Hey, Y/N, how about we go to a drive through movie?” Your friend, Nancy, asked you, as you flipped through her magazine.
“Geez, I dunno.” You said, thinking.
“C’mon now, it’ll be fun! Think of all the cute guys we’ll see.” She tries to bargain with you, laying on her bed next to you. She props her chin on her hands and smiled mischievously.
“Oh shut up Nancy.” You giggle to her.
“I’m serious Y/N! It’ll be fun, don’t be such a square.” You gasp.
“Shut up, Nance! Fine..let’s go.” You say with a slight pout. She cheers and goes to get ready.
Once the two of you were ready, she climbed into the driver side of her fathers car and started it. You sat in the passenger side.
When you got to the movie, Nancy parked and you both got out to sit on the hood
About 30 minutes in, you noticed some boys making noise, interrupting your movie time. You looked over, attempting to search for the troublemakers. Your eyes adjusted to the dark and you immediately recognized who the tallest boy was. Dallas Winston.
“Nance, look! It's Dallas Winston.” She looked over to where you motioned. Suddenly, Dally looked up, catching the two of you staring at him. He walked over, a look of both curiosity and seriousness on his face— it was hard to read him, but that’s what you were making out.
“Hey now, see somethin’ you like?” He asked when he finally got to you. The two younger boys with him followed distantly.
“In your dreams, Winston.” Nancy said with a huff.
“Oh don’t be like that, Nance!” He said to the girl next to you, not paying attention to you at first. Not that you minded, it was better if you didn’t get involved with him. You turned back to the movie, but kept an eye on Dallas, just in case he tried something.
“Go away, Dallas.” She said, rolling her eyes.
“Fine, fine.” He then turned his attention on you. And damn, did it feel good with the way he looked at you.
“Now what’s your name, honey?” You looked at him, your brows knitted together in an attempt to look fed up— in reality, though, you were enjoying this moment.
“Y/N.” He passed the hood of the car and over to you, getting up close.
“Y/N, huh?” He asked in your ear. Your name rolled off his tongue so deliciously, it was like honey dripping from a bottle. You wanted to hear him say it at least a thousand times more.
“That’s a real nice name, fits you…” he said in a flirtatious tone. You continue to look at the movie, pretending to not be affected by him.
“I’m Dallas, Dallas Winston.” He introduced himself.
“I know,” you said.
“You know me? I’m honored!”
“Well…I know of you.” Dally looked surprised.
“Yeah? What do you know about me?” His thick brows furrowed and he sounded curious.
“I know that you’re no good.” Your attention is now on him, and you’re talking to him, not at him.
Dallas steps back and puts his hand on his chest, as if he’s physically pained by your words.
“You’re hurtin’ me, doll. How am I no good?” He asked you, but you had a feeling it was less of a question for him, as he knows what he’s done.
“You steal, you fight, you’re rude..” you trail off on a bunch of reasons why Dally is “no good,” and he begins to smile.
“Looks like you do know me!” He says, laughing. It’s as if he’s proud of doing those things. “Say, why don’t you come with me, yeah? We’ll go have some alone time in a boneyard.” He smiles mischievously as he looks at you.
“No thanks, Nancy’s my ride home.” You motion to your friend.
“Hey, I’ve got a car too y’know.” He says, trying to bargain with you.
“Mm, I dunno. A boneyard is a little creepy, don’t you think?” You ask him, playing into his idea.
“Alright then we’ll go to a…er— a restaurant or somethin’!” You pause, pretending to think for a moment.
“I mean, I suppose I could…but what’s in it for me?”
“What’s in it for you?” Dally asks, sounding surprised. It’s as if he never thought he’d get this far. “Baby, I’ll give you the whole world if it meant I got to spend some time with you!” He exclaims quickly. Your eyes widen and your heart thumps.
You look over at Nancy, who has a confusing expression on her face. She’s half smiling, but narrowing her eyes.
“Well, whatdya say?” He asks, interrupting the silence. You pause for a moment.
“How bout you come back in 10 and I’ll give you my final answer,” you say to him. He furrows his eyebrows again but complies. He walks away, hands on his hips and muttering something.
As soon as he’s out of earshot, Nancy turns to you. “You’re not serious, are you?!” She asks.
“I dunno Nance! He seemed like he really wanted me to go…”
“Oh please, Y/N! He’s like that with everyone he goes after.”
“Maybe you’re right..”
“I am right! Now let’s watch this movie like we came here to do.”
A few minutes passed and Dally came back.
“So doll, what’s the move?”
“Gee, Dallas, I’d love to, but I can’t just leave Nance here by herself. I hope you can understand.” His jaw tensed and he went quiet, for a second you thought he was going to get mad.
“That’s fine, it’s fine.” He said quickly and walked away with his head down. You watched as he looked back, and you gave him a look of sorrow. He looked forward again and kicked the dirt. Instantly, you regretted declining his offer. Was he really like that with everyone else? Or were you special?
After the movie, you told Nancy you had to run to the bathroom. She complained, but let you go.
“Make it quick, Y/N Y/L/N.” You ran off, searching desperately for Dally. You found him talking to the boys he was with earlier, and when you saw him, you walked up to him casually.
“Dallas?” You called. He looked in your direction, and then looked back at his friends. “Dallas,” you called again when you reached him. The smell of cigarette smoke filled your nose, making you notice Dal had a cigarette in his mouth.
“What? What do you want?” He asked you, frustrated.
“Can I talk to you?” You asked, clasping your hands together nervously. He looked around, as if searching for himself. “You are.”
“Privately.”
He stopped to think for a moment. He then looked at the boys and nodded, a silent way of saying he would be right back.
When you were out of eye and earshot of both the boys and Nancy, you stopped. “What is it?” He asked.
“I'm really sorry about saying no,” Dallas rolled his eyes. “Dallas, I’m serious! Just listen to me.” He took a drag of his cigarette.
“I’d like to go to the restaurant with you, but on my— our own time. Not when I’m with friends, or when you’re with those boys.”
“Ponyboy and Johnny? Oh they’re fine.” He said as he motioned to the pair.
“Dallas.” You said in a slightly stern tone. He chuckled. “fine.”
“So is that a yes? Are we going to a restaurant?” You ask him, trying to clarify.
“I guess so.” He said, taking his cigarette between his fingers.
“Okay, here.” You say, grabbing a pen from your shirt pocket. “Do you have anything to write on?” You asked the man.
“Uh…here.” He muttered, pulling up his sleeve. You looked at him and chuckled to yourself. You wrote your landline phone number on his arm in small numbers. When you were done, he looked back up at you with a certain look in his eyes.
It was as if you were the only person in the world, and Dallas knew that. He looked at you with love filled, puppy dog eyes. You avoided eye contact, feeling the butterflies erupt in your stomach. There was an awkward silence for a second and then you looked back at him.
“Well, uhm, I better go. Nancy might leave me here if I don’t hurry..” you say, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“Oh— yeah.” Dally says as he shakes his head, like he was getting rid of his train of thought. “I’ll…erm- I’ll call you later, then.” A dust of pink brushed across his cheeks and ears, but it was too dark to tell from your point of view. You ran off and back to Nancy’s car, climbed into the passenger side, and smiled to yourself.
“About time,” Nancy sighed.
“Sorry Nance, long line.” You lied.
“Yeah, yeah.” She says snottily. She then drives you to your house and drops you off at home, where you get ready for bed and think about your future plans with Dallas. Then the landline on your bedside table rings.
You pick it up quickly, so as to not wake up anybody in your house.
“Hello?” You ask.
“Hey, this Y/N?” The familiar voice asks.
“Mhm, and this is Dallas?”
“Yeah.” he says with a chuckle. “Who else would it be?”
“Hush,” you said in a jokingly annoyed tone.
“So, when can I come see you? And where?” He asks. Your smile drops and the butterflies come back. Is it normal to be this flustered by someone you just started talking to?
“Let’s meet at the burger place, and uh…would tomorrow work?”
“I’m free all week, baby. So yeah. What time?” He says with a chuckle.
“I dunno. Maybe around 7, I’ll have to convince my old man to let me go, though.”
“Well then, convince ‘im.” He says. You giggle.
“I’ll try my hardest.”
The two of you talked for a while longer and then you hung up, drifting off to sleep with Dally in your mind.
The next morning, you woke up to the sound of your dad calling your name. You ran downstairs and into the kitchen, where your mom was making breakfast.
“Hey mom, hi daddy.” You said as you stretched. Dallas’s words stuck in your head from the night. Convince him.
“Hey guys, do you think I can go hang out with Nancy again?” You ask, leaning against the wall casually.
“You went out with her last night, dear.” Your mom reminded you.
“I know, but…” you said, trying to think of an excuse. “She’s been really bored lately!”
“I don’t know, will your chores get done?” Your dad asks.
“Yeah!” You say excitedly, glad that your parents are letting you go.
“Fine, but if they’re not done by 3 tomorrow, you’re grounded!” Your mom said as she looked back at you with a frustrated look on her face.
Your father then turned to you and asked you what time, to which you answered. The two of you made small talk and you went about your day, excited, yet nervous to see Dallas Winston.
The clock hit 6PM. You decided to hop in the shower and begin to get ready.
Although, you didn’t know how exactly you should get ready. Would you get ready like it was a date? Or a casual outing with friends? Whatever, you’d end up figuring something out.
After getting out of the shower, you dried your hair and took an eternity choosing clothes. You finally decided on a set and slipped out the house before your parents could question why you looked so nice.
By now, it was 6:30 and you had to hurry to the burger joint. You ended up walking to your destination, having it only be about 25 minutes away.
By the time you got there, it was 6:57. You sighed a breath of relief, glad you weren’t late. You walked into the diner, expecting to see Dallas waiting for you, but to no avail. “It’s okay, he’ll be here soon.” You tried to convince yourself. While waiting, you picked a booth and sat down.
It then reached 7 o’clock. You tapped your fingers impatiently and looked around for the boy. A waitress came up to you a few times, asking if you were ready to order, and you told her you were waiting for someone.
7:05. Still no Dallas. You decided to give him 5 more minutes to be here, and then you’d leave.
7:10. You sighed and rubbed your temples. Were you really going to cry over a boy you had just started talking to?
As you picked up your stuff to leave, the bell on the door dinged. You looked over and saw Dallas stumble in, looking for you.
“Over here.” You spoke aloud, frustrated with his tardiness.
“Oh.” He said quietly. He walked over and you glared at him.
“Hey,” he greeted you, taking a seat. “Sorry I’m late, I got caught up with some- some people.” You decided not to say anything, and instead just to stare at him angrily. He locked eyes with you and sighed.
“Look, I’ll make it up to ya.” His New York accent was thick as he spoke. “I’ll pay for our food tonight, yeah? Then can you stop this…this.” He said as he motioned his hand toward you.
“Maybe,” you said as you shrugged your shoulders nonchalantly. He sighed. After a while, a waitress walked over and took both of your orders. While the two of you waited, Dallas tried to strike up a conversation.
“Y’know, you weren’t this quiet at the movies.”
“Y’know, you didn’t almost stand me up at the movies.” You retorted. Dally scoffed.
“That’s what this is about?”
“Yeah, well, on the dates that I’ve been on, the guys don’t usually come ten minutes late.”
“Really?” He asked with faux interest. “How late are they, then?” That made you chuckle. Goddammit. You broke character. Dally smirked.
“You’re annoying, Dallas Winston.”
Finally, your food arrived and you two started eating. Dallas dug in almost immediately, catching you off guard. He noticed this.
“Oh, where are my manners?” He asked sarcastically. “Here, let me just—“ Dallas sat straight up and placed a napkin on his lap. You looked away in embarrassment.
“Stop that.” You mumbled. He chuckled at his own joke and threw the napkin aside.
“You’re really cute, y’know that?” Dallas asked out of the blue. You looked up and then away from him, feeling the tips of your ears warming.
“You’re not so bad yourself, Dally.”
The two of you conversed some more and decided that you were done with your food.
Dally called the waitress over and paid for both of you, like he promised. When the two of you walked out of the building, Dally lit a cigarette.
“You should stay the night with me, doll.” He said as he held the cigarette between his pointer and middle finger.
“Oh I dunno about that,” you said. “My mom and daddy promised to ground me if I wasn’t home by 3 tomorrow—“
“Just tell ‘em uh…” Dally interrupted, thinking for a moment. “Tell ‘em your friend needs you to stay the night or somethin’” you thought for a moment and sighed. Then, you walked back into the diner, Dallas followed you with curiosity. You walked over to the public phone and dialed your house number.
“Hey, hello?” You asked into the speaker. “Hey daddy, can I stay over at Nancy’s? Please? I’m callin’ from the diner right now, we got dinner and she wants me to stay over. Yeah, I’ll get them done tomorrow. Alright dad, goodnight, love you.” You hung up the phone.
Dallas shrugged his shoulders as if to ask you, what’s the deal? You nod and smile. He smirks and leads you out of the diner once again and to his roommates shiny red T-Bird. Surprisingly, he opened the passenger side door for you, and you got in with a quiet “thank you.”
The two of you rode in silence, Dallas’s hair was blowing in the wind handsomely and you couldn’t help but stare.
I mean, this man was gorgeous. He had perfect hair that wasn’t cut too clean— which was what you were used to with the Soc’s. He had dimples given to him from an angel that showed when he smiled. He had a sharp, straight nose that looked perfect from the side. You couldn’t help but stare at him.
Dallas pulled into the dirt and rock driveway of his house and, once again, opened your door for you. You thanked him again and headed inside. As you walked into his room, the smell of cigarette smoke filled your nose. It wasn’t exactly unbearable, but it was strong.
He sat in his bed and fell back, outstretching his arms and sighing.
“Welcome to my room, baby.” He said quietly. You smiled.
You awkwardly stood at his door for a moment, not knowing what to do. The boy looked up at you and then motioned for you to join him on his bed. You rushed over and sat next to him, flushing at the close contact.
Dallas stared into your eyes silently, then at your lips, and back at your eyes. You felt your ears warming as you kept his gaze, his auburn eyes being more beautiful than ever.
Slowly, you leaned in, feeling that it was only right. You placed your soft lips on his own and kissed him. Dally leaned into the kiss, cupping the back of your head to keep himself grounded.
In an instant, you were making out with the Dallas Winston. He kissed you so passionately, so full of love, it was as if he was never going to see you again when the kiss was done— like you were going to disappear.
When you pulled away, Dallas looked at you with eyes filled with love.
“Dally, I—“ you paused
“You what?”
“I can’t do this,” you scooted away from him. His eyes darkened and he frowned. God, you hated this.
“Can’t do what? Can’t be with me?” You nodded. “Well why not??” He exclaimed, shooting up out the bed and threw his hands in the air.
“I like you, Dallas, I really do, but…” you looked away slightly. “You’re gonna hurt me, I know it!”
“What?” Dallas asked you quietly.
“You’re like this with everyone, Nancy said so.” You explained, recalling your previous conversation with her.
“Baby, Nancy doesn’t know me.” His jaw tensed and his head tilted, as if he was disappointed in you for believing that nonsense.
“Neither do I! And can you really blame me? You’re reputation here is… it’s not good. So don’t get mad at me for thinking somethin’ could be true!” Dallas looked at his wall and placed his hands on his hips.
“No— no no no.” He says, making you confused. “Listen, I like you, Y/N. I like you more than anyone else I ever been with— in fact, I don’t think I like anyone as much as I like you.”
“Dal, you just met me…” you say. His words want to mean something to you, but how can you trust a man like him?
“I don’t care! You think I care about that? I like you! I liked meeting you! I liked spending time with you today! I want you— I want you and only you.” He says in a rush.
You stand up, stepping closer to him until you’re just inches away. You make eye contact with him and kiss him once again. He steps back in surprise, but quickly kisses you back. After the kiss had broken, you pulled him into a tight hug. He tensed up, as if no one has actually given him a sincere, meaningful hug like this— at least not in a while.
“Dally, I like you. I do.” You emphasized your words very carefully, so that he knew you meant them.
“I just— I need you to prove to me that you’re good for me. I need you to prove that everyone else is wrong about this one thing.”
Dallas nodded.
“I will, Y/N. I don’t like makin’ promises, but for you, I will.”
Hello! I'm absolutely in love with your work and I'm always just so friggin' happy whenever a new one gets published.
If it's alright with you, I'd like to request an Eddie x Reader inspired by the song "Centerfold" by The J. Geils Band. The song's been stuck in my mind for days now and I just can't help hearing the song from Eddie's point of view.
Hope you're doing great!
I love this song so this was so fun to write! Thank you for your kind words and for requesting!
Warnings: smut, p in v, mention of unprotected sex, language, I think that’s it?
Eddie had been on the road for months now. The roar of the crowd every night filled his veins with adrenaline and his heart with contentment. But once the buzz faded and the lights went off, Eddie would find himself in his bunk on the tour bus, trying to catch some much-needed sleep as the driver took them to their next tour stop. The gentle rock of the large bus back and forth on the road usually lulled Eddie to sleep eventually, but tonight, he seemed to feel every little bump and pothole on the interstate.
“Holy shit.”
Gareth is always making a big deal out of the stupidest shit, so Eddie didn’t bother pulling open the small curtain to his bunk and looking up at the bed above him. He was honestly surprised that Gareth wasn’t asleep yet, because he was well known to be the one who passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow.
“Dude.”
Still, Eddie doesn’t answer.
“Eddie? You awake?”
The lead guitarist rolls his eyes and pushes the short curtain open.
“What?”
Gareth peeks his head over the edge of the bunk, not meeting Eddie’s eyes. Uncomfortable is an odd look on Gareth, as he’s usually unfazed by anything and everything. That alone has Eddie intrigued.
“Dude, what?” Eddie asks again.
“Shit, I don’t know if I should tell you,” Gareth says.
“You shouted for me multiple times while I’m trying to sleep. You better damn well tell me.”
His friend’s head disappears back into the bunk and Eddie lets out a longsuffering sigh. There’s rustling coming from above him and instead of Gareth popping back into view like he expects, something falls down and smacks Eddie square in the face.
“What the fuck?” Eddie grumbles, glaring up at the higher bunk. There’s no response though, which has Eddie huffing again in anger before he looks down at what hit him. It’s a copy of XXXTRA, the popular adult magazine, that Eddie is no stranger to. Gareth’s never shared porn with him before, and if he was being honest, Eddie found it a little weird. Especially since he’d be up there in his bunk with it. As if his friend can read his mind, Gareth calls down.
“I just opened it, Jesus Christ. Turn to the centerfold.”
With a sigh, Eddie swipes the magazine from the floor and lays back in his bed. Making himself comfortable, he flips through the pages until he comes to the very middle of the magazine. When he does, Eddie’s heart seizes in his chest, and he feels his blood run cold. The black negligee is short and skimpy, the lace neckline – if it could be called that – dipped low between the breasts, keeping a small portion of the swell of her chest covered. Or it would be if the whole negligee wasn’t completely sheer, showing off her impressive natural breasts. It’s a sexy piece of lingerie on its own, but the woman wearing it is far sexier. She was also Eddie’s high school sweetheart.
“Holy shit,” Eddie echoes Gareth’s words from earlier.
“Right?” Gareth says from above him, and Eddie raises his leg to kick the bottom of his bandmate’s bunk.
“Not another word,” Eddie snaps. His eyes scan over your body on the glossy print again, an odd mixture of confused and aroused. The fact that Gareth saw this – saw you like this – has Eddie gripping the edges of the magazine tighter in his hands. But then it occurs to him: everyone who bought this magazine would see you like this. See you in the provocative position you’re sitting in, leaning in towards the camera, black lace laying against your soft skin. At least Eddie knew from experience that your skin was soft. Not everyone who holds the magazine could say that.
He drops the magazine down on his chest and rubs at his eyes with the heels of his hands. It’s been almost a decade since Eddie’s seen you, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t think of you from time to time. Even when he’s laying alone in a hotel room, fist wrapped around his cock, remembering all the times and places you two fooled around back in high school. The breakup was mutual and heartbreaking, but unavoidable as you went off to college and Corroded Coffin set off to make their dreams come true. None of it changed the fact that there was a special place held in Eddie’s heart just for you.
Mrs. O’Donnell drones on and on, sounding like the teachers from Charlie Brown the more she speaks. Eddie does his best to listen – he really does, but it’s so hard when the words are all blending together into one cacophonous sound. It’s the crone’s own fault, really, when his mind drifts far from the subject of World War II and onto the dress you’re wearing today. A cute green floral sundress, long enough to keep Eddie from going all alpha male jealous, but still short enough to keep his eyes glued to the backs of your thighs as you walked. The cotton was so soft as he rubbed his hands over your waist and hips this morning, pulling your body against his just because he never wanted to let you go. All of your curves were accentuated perfectly, and the color brought out your eyes so much that Eddie was pretty sure this was his favorite outfit of yours ever. Well, favorite outfit that you could wear in public.
A tap against his knee catches Eddie’s attention and he notices your hand underneath his desk, a slip of paper between your fingers. He slips the note from your grip, squeezing your hand before he reluctantly lets go of it. Your stifled giggle brings a smile to his face as he unfolds your note.
What’re you thinking about? Your face is especially cute
Eddie does a double take to make sure O’Donnell isn’t looking his way before grabbing his pencil and scribbling down a reply. He drops the note on your desk, poking you in the side to make you squirm before containing himself back in his own seat.
Funny you should ask! I was thinking about you and that sexy little dress. So if you see my fly straining over my crotch, you know why
Eddie watches your face go scarlet as you read the letter, quickly crumbling the paper up and shoving it in your backpack so no one else can see what it says. Mrs. O’Donnell was notorious for making people read notes they’ve passed out loud and you’d be damned if you were going to have to speak Eddie’s words out loud to the whole class.
Lucky for you, the bell rings so there’s no time for your teacher to catch your note passing. Eddie takes your hand in his as you sling your backpack over your shoulder.
“Your house?” Eddie asks as the two of you walk down the hallway towards the school exit.
“Yeah. Unless you’re too eager and need to take me in the back of your van?” You shoot a smirk at your boyfriend, and he bites his lip to suppress a moan.
“Fuck, don’t tempt me.” He slings an arm over your shoulders and presses a kiss to the side of your head.
The whole ride to your place, Eddie keeps his hand on your thigh, inching it higher every few minutes, and telling you all the things he wants to do to you once you get there. He does it partially because it turns him on, but mostly because he loves seeing you get all flushed and shy. The two of you may have been together for over three years now, but he could still turn you into a blushing, stuttering mess.
As you try to unlock your front door, Eddie’s hands are moving up and down your body and he’s pressing kisses to the back of your neck.
“Eddie!” You let out a squeal as he digs his fingers into the softness of your tummy.
“Can’t help it,” Eddie mumbles into your hair. “You’re just so cute, angel.”
No sooner than you’ve stepped in the house does Eddie have you pinned up against the closed door. His lips are on yours and his hands are pushing your dress up your hips. The moan that leaves your lips is involuntary as your arms loop around his neck.
Eddie’s large hand cups the back of your thigh and hoists your leg around his hip. His lips break from yours and he trails his mouth down to your jaw, teeth scraping against your skin.
“M-My room,” you say.
“Too far,” Eddie speaks against your skin. “Need you here.”
“Against the front door?” you ask with a breathy laugh.
“Guess we could make the few steps to the couch.”
At Eddie’s pat on your ass, you jump up and wrap your other leg around his hips. Hands braced on your ass and teeth nipping at your neck, Eddie takes you over to the couch on the other side of the room. You land on your back, legs tightening around him, so he falls down on top of you.
You’re pushing Eddie’s leather jacket off his shoulders as he grinds his hips into yours, the friction over your thin cotton panties making your eyes roll back in your head. Eddie’s quick to strip himself of his shirt and his fingers tangle in the material of your dress as he struggles to get it over your head.
“Eddie!” You giggle as you help him shuck it off. “So impatient, baby.”
“Can’t help it,” Eddie says, mouthing at the lace cups of your bra. “You’re too perfect. Drive me crazy.”
Reaching behind you, you unclasp your bra and slip it down your arms, allowing Eddie to bite at the cup and throw it from your body like a dog letting go of a bone. His mouth comes right back to your breast, tongue lapping over your nipple before wrapping his lips around it, his hand coming up to massage your other breast. Your fingers tangle in your boyfriend’s hair and your hips buck up against his, making him moan around your nipple. The vibrations send a tingle up your spine and cause you to whimper.
“Eddie,” you whine. “Need you.”
With a pop, Eddie lets go of your nipple and presses kisses along the valley between your breasts.
“Need me how, angel?” he asks.
“Inside me. Please.”
“Don’t have to ask me twice,” Eddie says, already shimmying his jeans down his hips. He’s already slipped the condom from his pocket and tossed it onto your tummy. You work on opening the foil packet as Eddie frees the both of you from your underwear.
Eddie reaches down and runs his fingers through your folds, collecting your slick before moving back up to your clit. He rubs tight circles over the sensitive nub, making your hands stall over the condom.
“Fuck,” you let out in a breathy moan, Eddie smirking in satisfaction as he presses sweet kisses up your shoulder and across your collarbones.
“Such language, baby,” he teases.
“You’re one to talk,” you say with a laugh. Reaching down and wrapping your hand around his cock shuts him up. Eddie squeezes his eyes closed as you work the condom down his length, making sure to touch him as much as possible as you do. He twitches in your hand as you give him one final squeeze before moving your hand away. “Excited, handsome?”
“For my favorite pussy? Hell yes.”
You can’t help but laugh at his words, hands running up his chest.
“Only pussy you’ve ever had, Eds.”
“I don’t need any other to know this is my favorite,” Eddie says between hot wet kisses against your neck. “You’re saying you’d need another dick to know mine is your favorite?” He takes a hold of himself in his hand, rubbing his aching tip through your soaked folds.
“N-Never,” you moan. “Only dick I’ve ever had, only one I ever want.”
“Good,” Eddie says as he starts to push inside of you. “I love being your one and only.” Your fingernails dig into Eddie’s shoulders as he thrusts more of himself into you. The way he stretches you out always feels perfect, every single time. “Only cock you’ve ever had.” He places a kiss to your lips. “Only boyfriend you’ve ever had.” Another kiss. “Only kiss you’ve ever had.” Another kiss.
“You just love corrupting me, don’t you?” you ask in between heavy breaths. Eddie’s hips buck at your question, and you think you’ve got your answer.
“Shit,” Eddie says as he buries himself in you fully. “Swear you get tighter every time.”
“Maybe you just get bigger,” you say with a playful smirk.
“Gonna give me a big head, baby.”
Eddie already knows he’s not going to be able to last terribly long, having been aching for you all day. It’s your fault, really, how much you turn him on just walking down the halls or tapping the eraser of your pencil against your perfectly glossed lips.
He slips two fingers into your mouth and presses down on your tongue, causing you to moan at his forcefulness. His hips keep a steady pace as you swirl your tongue around his fingers, sucking on them just enough to make his hips stutter. Your mouth let's go with a wet smack and Eddie lowers his spit-coated fingers to your clit, working against your nub in the way he knew drove you absolutely wild.
Lips parting and eyes closing in pleasure, you lose yourself in the pressure of Eddie’s fingers and the absolute fullness of his cock nestled inside of you.
“Feel good, angel?” Eddie asks.
Unable to speak, you nod your head, nails digging in even deeper to the pale skin of Eddie’s shoulders.
“Good,” Eddie says, adding a little extra pressure to your clit. “Want you to cum on my cock, baby. Fuck, you know how much I love that.”
It’s true – Eddie’s pretty sure he could cum just from the feeling of your walls spasming around him and absolutely soaking all the way down to his balls.
“Close,” you whimper, forcing your eyes open to look at your boyfriend above you. He’s flushed, sweat forcing some of his hair to stick to his forehead, and tongue poking out of his pretty lips as he works himself in and out of you at a steady pace. The sight makes you smile, and what you don’t know is that Eddie’s admiring the view of you as well. He takes in how your forehead is creased from the pleasure you feel, tits bouncing every time he presses into you, and your hair splayed out around you like a halo, making you look like the angel you are.
“That’s it, baby,” Eddie encourages, his hips speeding up. Your back arches in pleasure as his angle changes and he pounds into that perfect spongey spot inside of you.
“There! Fuck, right there, Eddie.”
“I’ve got you, sweetheart,” he says.
Between Eddie’s cock ramming into that spot repeatedly and his fingers dancing over your clit deliciously, you feel yourself steadily reaching your climax.
Eddie presses soft and sweet kisses up your neck and side of your face as you chant his name over and over again, the tenderness pushing you over the edge. Moaning out into the quiet house, your wave of pleasure crashes over you, sparks dancing in your vision. The clenching of your already tight walls around him has Eddie following you over the edge. His hips stutter once, twice before he’s releasing into the condom, fingers helping you through your own orgasm. Your boyfriend’s groans make the warm feeling in your tummy last even longer, thinking there could be nothing sexier in this world than the sounds Eddie makes.
Once he’s spent, having spilled every bit of cum you’ve milked from him into the condom, Eddie drops his head into the crook of your neck and lets some of his body weight rest on you. Having him on top of you like this felt almost as wonderful as having him inside of you. You feel safe and loved with Eddie’s skin pressed against yours like this. His sweat melts with yours and both of you have matching smiles on your faces as you try to catch your breaths.
“I love you,” Eddie says.
“I love you too,” you tell him. His smile grows when you brush some of his damp hair from his forehead, turning his head to press a kiss to your palm.
Reluctantly, Eddie pulls out of you, the pair of you hissing at the loss together. He rolls himself onto the floor and you giggle, turning your head to look down at your boyfriend.
“You’re the cutest,” you say.
“That title is taken by you, angel.” Eddie throws a wink your way before slipping the condom off and tying off the end. He pushes himself up off the floor and presses a kiss to your lips before going to toss the used condom away.
Stretching out on the couch, you let your muscles loosen for a moment before sitting up. Grabbing your panties from the floor, you slip back into them and scoop up your bra and dress.
“I’m gonna go change,” you call to Eddie in the kitchen before heading towards the stairs.
Eddie comes back into the living room, wiping the remaining sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. He hops back into his boxers and jeans, tossing his leather jacket over an armchair before he slips his Iron Maiden shirt back over his head. You come back into the room, an old pair of Eddie’s sweatpants hung low on your hips and your softest sweater keeping you warm. Eddie drops down onto the couch and you plop down next to him. When you turn your head to smile up at him, he feels his head go fuzzy and his stomach trembles like he’s swallowed a vibrator.
“What?” you ask of the shy look on his face.
“Nothing,” he says, looking into your eyes. “I’m just really in love with you. And you have gorgeous eyes.”
You let out a giggle as you feel yourself getting flustered.
“You’re one to talk about gorgeous eyes,” you say.
He grins and slides an arm around your shoulders, melting into your touch when the soft sweater meets the skin of his arm. You tuck your hands up in the long green sleeves of the sweater and lean into his side.
“I love this sweater, too,” Eddie says. “You should wear it to school tomorrow.”
“Eddie, you would get detention before the end of homeroom.”
“Why?” he asks, brow furrowing.
“You wouldn’t keep your hands off of me,” you say with a laugh. “It seems to be a magical sweater that just draws your hands in.”
He gives an overly dramatic roll of his eyes and wraps both arms around you, hugging you and the sweater against his chest.
“That’s nothing new, though. Mr. Martin is used to it by now,” Eddie says of your homeroom teacher.
“I guess as long as your hands don’t slip under the sweater it will be okay.”
“Nah,” Eddie says with a shrug. “I’ll leave that for second period.”
Eddie can’t stop looking or thinking about your picture in the centerfold for days. Gareth knows better than to mention it, and if he told the other guys, they’re smart enough not to say anything either. Every song they play at every show reminds him of you in some way. His mind even makes leaps to connect you with songs that have nothing to do with love or heartbreak at all. You haven’t invaded his mind this consistently for nearly a decade.
The show tonight in New York City is one of the largest crowds that Corroded Coffin has had in a while and Eddie is finding it harder to care than he usually would. He lives for big crowds, but his heart hasn’t been in the music for the past few days. The rest of the band could tell, but again, wouldn’t say anything to him about it.
Eddie knows that whatever is going on with him has to do with you, but he can’t put his finger on what exactly it is that’s bothering him. It’s not the fact that you’re in the centerfold; Eddie knows you’re a grown woman and can make your own decisions. Though he is curious what led you from shy book worm to the hottest centerfold he’s ever seen. He’s a big enough man to admit that he’s a little jealous that others get to see you like he once did, but that’s not what’s really getting to him. The more he tries to figure it out, the more the reason seems to evade him.
After the sound check and before show time, Eddie walks into the green room to see Jeff lounging on the couch, his girlfriend perched on his lap.
“Hey, Kathy!” Eddie greets her with a smile. “I didn’t know you were coming tonight.”
“Neither did Jeff,” she says with a giggle.
“She surprised me,” Jeff explains, a giddy smile on his face as he squeezes his girlfriend in his arms.
Eddie takes a seat at the small table in the room, a bowl of pretzels waiting there. His thick fingers pull a few out and as he’s popping them in his mouth, he notices Jeff and Kathy with their heads together, whispering and laughing. An odd feeling rolls through Eddie’s stomach and that’s when it finally hits him. He misses you. Sure, he’s had girlfriends since you’d been together, and he’s even fallen in love since then too. And maybe when he’d been with those girls he’d thought it felt different than when he was with you, but he’d just assumed that was because you were his first love. Didn’t people say that’s something that always stays with you? But maybe it was something more than that.
“You ready?”
Gareth’s voice breaks Eddie from his thoughts, his head snapping to look at his bandmate standing in the doorway. Gareth is looking between Eddie and Jeff, raising his eyebrows at them like they forgot they had a show to put on. Jeff gives Kathy one last kiss before he and Eddie follow their friend out, headed towards the stage.
It’s a great show. Something always felt different playing in New York City and tonight was no exception. The crowd seemed louder; the music seemed to pump through Eddie’s veins with every chord. He flung his pick into the audience after the set, and the screaming girl who caught it made him laugh. Nothing like New York.
“Dude,” Grant says as Eddie’s inhaling a bottle of water back in the green room. He just raises his eyebrows at his friend while he continues chugging. “Party a few blocks over. It sounds pretty fucking amazing.”
I really don’t want to party, Eddie thinks. What the fuck, dude? He wipes his mouth off with the back of his hand. Since when do you not want to go to an after party? Get it the fuck together.
“Uh, sure,” Eddie says. “Just let me get changed.”
The party is in some penthouse that has way too many bodies and not nearly enough ventilation in it. Eddie walks in with his friends and Kathy, eyes scanning the place to see where he can grab a drink. There’s a bar over in the corner with a few bartenders on duty. Eddie tries to imagine any of the parties he went to in high school having an actual bartender.
He makes his way over and orders a Whiskey Highball, Gareth right behind him ordering a Jack and Coke. Once they’ve got their drinks, Gareth spots a girl that he's “just got to talk to” and leaves Eddie standing there by himself. Letting out a sigh, Eddie makes his way into the room, eyes taking in the different people drinking, talking, making out, laughing, all under the shitty dim lighting coming from somewhere; Eddie couldn’t even figure out where from.
A girl approaches him, and he flips the switch to turn on his charm. Eddie takes in her long legs, her dark skin, and mini dress she’s wearing that looks completely made up of sequins. It’s a lot, but the dim lighting is keeping the glare from hitting him in the eyes.
“You look familiar,” the girl says.
Eddie shrugs. “Maybe you’ve seen my band play.”
“Hmm, so drummer?” she asks.
“Guitarist.” Eddie acts like he’s offended, placing his hand on his chest. “You think these talented fingers are only used for holding drumsticks?”
She giggles and Eddie can’t help but notice how pretty her smile is. She’s a pretty girl in general, but her smile is her best feature.
“I’m Eddie.”
She introduces herself and his stomach drops when she introduces herself with the same first name that you have.
“T-That’s a nice name,” Eddie says, game completely thrown off at this point.
“Thanks!” She continues to talk but Eddie doesn’t hear a word she’s saying. All he’s thinking about is how to get out of this conversation because there’s no way he can deal with spending time with someone who has the same name as you. He doesn’t know why, he just knows he can’t do it.
When she finishes speaking, Eddie sends her an apologetic look.
“I’m so sorry, but I actually just saw someone that I need to talk to.”
“Oh, that’s okay,” she says with her pretty smile. “Maybe I’ll see you in a little while?”
“Sure,” Eddie says. No, Eddie thinks.
He tries to find one of his friends to talk to, just in case she was watching, Eddie didn’t want her to think he was trying to ditch her. Even though he kind of was. But none of his band mates are in sight so Eddie settles for claiming an empty seat he’s spotted on a purple couch near the large windows exposing the New York Skyline, all lit up in the darkness.
There’s a woman sitting next to Eddie, and she turns to give him a smile. Her hair is even curlier than his is and he admits he finds that impressive.
“Hi,” she says, leaning into his space. Eddie’s never minded a woman coming into his personal space, though.
“Hey,” Eddie says. He leans against the back of the couch and crosses one leg over the other, the hand not holding his glass resting on his booted ankle.
“What brings you to the party?” the woman asks, batting her dark eyelashes over her bright hazel eyes.
“My friends, honestly. We finished our show and they said we had to come.”
“Show? Are you on Broadway?”
Eddie laughs at this because the mental image of him on a stage dressed like a singing cat springs to mind.
“Nah, I’m in a band. We just played a show a few blocks over,” he says.
“Are you the lead singer?” she asks with a knowing smile.
“And lead guitarist,” Eddie says, holding his drink up as if he’s going to make a toast. She laughs and Eddie can’t help himself from asking. “I’m sorry, but, what’s your name?”
“Johnna.”
Eddie breathes a sigh of relief.
“I’m Eddie.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Eddie.”
They start talking about being in the city, as she’s only visiting as well for an art exhibit. Eddie’s finished his drink and is moving to set it on the table in front of the couch when movement through the crowd of people catches his eye. He looks up and is stunned to his seat. His jaw drops open and he blinks his eyes a few times to make sure his mind isn’t playing tricks on him. Between two groups of people talking, standing about twenty feet away, is his angel. Eddie isn’t sure how long he’s staring before Johnna waves her hand in front of his face.
“Hello? Earth to Eddie?”
He’s snapped out of his trance and looks to Johnna hesitantly, not wanting to take his eyes off of you for even a moment.
“Yeah, sorry,” Eddie says. He bites his lip and glances back to make sure you’re still there; that he didn’t dream you up. “Um, I'm really sorry but I see someone over there I haven’t seen in almost ten years. I’ve got to go say hi.”
Johnna looks disappointed, but she nods her head. He gives her a grateful smile before he pushes himself off the purple couch and through the tightening crowd. You’ve moved from where you previously were but it’s not hard to find you in the crowd, his eyes instinctually brought to the back of your head, that sight of familiar beautiful hair. The silky emerald dress you’re wearing sways with every step you take and his eyes are drawn to the backs of your thighs. As perfect as he remembers.
Too many people keep darting in his pathway to you, making him lose his patience a little more each time. Fuck it, he decides. He’s shooting his shot. He cups his hands around his mouth and shouts your name.
You freeze on the spot, as if your heels had stepped in crazy glue. That voice. That voice calling your name. You’d know it anywhere, even in a packed party. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm your racing heart, you turn around and your heart not only disobeys you by continuing to race, but it also feels like it’s going to leap out of your chest and fly across the room to the one person it’s always belonged to.
“Eddie.” His name on your lips sparks all the memories flooding back. All the makeout sessions in the back of his van, all the times you sat at the closest table to the stage when the guys had gigs at The Hideout. The way he always seemed to know when you were having a bad day and would show up to final period with flowers that he somehow managed to get. He’d never spilled his secrets on how he got them, no matter how many times you’d asked.
Eddie finally makes his way to you, and you can’t help but just stare at his wide brown eyes and frizzy curls when he stands before you. He looks older, more mature, but he’s still the same beautiful boy you shared your first everything with. The same way he’s shoving his hands into his pockets because he’s nervous. Same smile and the same look from underneath his eyelashes. You feel like you’re going to melt. Was it always this hot in here?
“You’re here,” you say. Duh, obviously, you think to yourself.
“And you’re here.”
“H-How are you?” you ask. Okay, it’s definitely getting hotter in the room.
“I’m good,” Eddie says with a smile. That smile was always your undoing and it was proving to have the same effect all these years later. “How are you?”
“Good,” you say, finding yourself getting lost in his eyes. Nothing has changed since you were 15, has it?
The music somehow gets turned up even higher and it has you wincing.
“Do you want to go outside?” Eddie offers, gesturing towards the door. You nod and head in that direction, Eddie’s hand coming to the small of your back as if no time has passed at all.
Your hearing is still muffled as you two stumble out onto the sidewalk in front of the building. The city’s streets were never silent, but this was far preferable to the deafening bass upstairs.
“So, what are you doing here?” you ask, wrapping your arms around yourself in the brisk night air. Eddie doesn’t miss a thing and instantly shrugs out of his leather jacket, putting it over your shoulders. It shouldn’t make you feel as tingly as it does, but you can’t help but smile as you’re enveloped by its warmth and its familiar smell of Eddie. You hold it tighter against your body.
“We, uh, just played a show a few blocks over,” Eddie says, hiking his thumb over his shoulder in the direction of the venue.
“Really?” you ask, eyes wide. “If I had known I would’ve been front row. Still know all the lyrics.” You give him a proud smirk.
“Even the new ones?” he challenges, raising his eyebrows playfully.
“Of course,” you say. “You think I don’t buy Corroded Coffin albums the day they drop? I’m no fake fan.”
Eddie laughs and reaches up to scratch the back of his head. The sound goes straight to your heart, his laughter making it soar.
“I, uh, guess I should tell you I’ve seen your latest work, too.”
“Oh! Really?” The only difference Eddie sees between you then and now is the fact that you’re not blushing right now. High school you would’ve looked like a tomato if Eddie even suggested taking a sexy Polaroid of you. Didn’t stop you from saying yes eventually, though.
“To be totally honest,” Eddie starts with a nervous chuckle. “Gareth saw it first and gave it to me. Or maybe I confiscated it.”
“Thank you for that,” you answer with a nervous giggle of your own. “The thought of Gareth seeing that feels weird. Nothing you haven’t seen before, though.”
“I don’t know,” Eddie says with a shrug. “I don’t think you had that negligee when we were dating.”
His cheeky grin makes you giggle again, and you take a step towards him.
“Do you think it’s weird?” You want his honest answer. Obviously, you had no problem with it, seeing as you’d done it, but you knew there would be people who didn’t approve.
“Weird? No, not at all. Was I surprised? Hell yes. I mean, my angel is the centerfold.”
A smile lights up your face and you take another step closer to him.
“I haven’t been called that since you.”
“What, angel?”
“Yeah. But I’m glad. Anyone else calling me that would’ve felt weird. That’s your name for me.”
“And I’ve never called anyone else it,” Eddie says, making you emotional in a way you didn’t expect. “I’m curious, though,” Eddie starts, too nervous to meet your eyes in case you take his question the wrong way. “How’d you get into…that?”
“Oh, well in my senior year of college I dated a photography student. He used me for a project – clothes on – and he got an A. Then there was a photography competition he wanted to enter, and since I brought him luck last time, he asked if I’d do it again. This one was less clothing, but still decent. He won that contest and his pictures appeared in a magazine. The people from that magazine then called and wanted me, not my boyfriend, to work for them.”
“And how’d that go?” Eddie asks with a chuckle.
You roll your eyes. “He was such a baby about it. It’s not like I asked them. He was so petty and jealous that he broke up with me. I didn’t really care though, because I felt like I’d finally seen his true colors. Anyway, the magazine had me model for a couple of issues. Mostly clothes or promo pictures for a restaurant or club or something. And so, one of the photographers at this magazine was also working for XXXTRA and knew they were looking for someone new for their centerfold. So, he showed them my picture and they asked me to do it.”
“Were you scared?” Eddie asks. His hand is fighting the urge to reach out and grab yours.
“Yeah,” you admit with a laugh. “I didn’t want to make a career out of this, it was just an easy job that kind of fell in my lap. The centerfold would’ve been the most I’d made modeling up to that point, so I figured what the hell? I’ve always been a good, quiet girl so I thought it’d be kind of funny to think of people looking at that picture of me and imagining I’m some wild, risk-taking woman.”
“So, what’re you doing now?” Eddie asks and you shrug.
“Not sure. I got my degree in English, so I’ve been thinking of going into writing.”
“Oh, you totally should,” Eddie says, getting excited at the idea. “You always wrote the best stories in Mrs. Thompson’s class.”
Eddie’s compliment has your face warming and it’s like the final puzzle piece has clicked into place. Eddie looks at you and sees his girl, completely and wholly.
“You never told me why you’re in New York,” Eddie says.
“Oh, yeah! One of my best friends from college had her opening night on Broadway tonight. We came here after the opening night party.”
“That’s pretty cool. Was the show good?”
“It really was! I hope it’s not one of those ones that just doesn't get the recognition it deserves.”
“What’s it called?” Eddie asks.
“Rent.”
“Huh. Weird name.”
“Says the guy who came up with the name Corroded Coffin.” Your smirk makes Eddie want to pull you into his arms and kiss all over your face.
“How long are you in town?” you ask Eddie.
“Bus leaves tomorrow afternoon. Gotta head to Philly next. What about you?”
“Flying home tomorrow, too,” you say.
“Where’s home now?”
“Hawkins.” You say the town’s name with a smile, and it makes Eddie think back fondly on the town as well.
“Home sweet home,” Eddie says.
“Listen, um…” You bite your lip, nervous in front of Eddie for the first time since…well, probably your first time. “I don’t know if you have a girlfriend or something, but if you don’t, do you maybe want to get breakfast together in the morning? Catch up?”
“No girlfriend,” Eddie says, taking a step to close the ever-shrinking gap between the two of you. “And I would love to have breakfast with you. Hell, I’d sit on the sidewalk and eat a soft pretzel from that cart down there just to spend time with you.”
His favorite blush in the world comes to your cheeks and Eddie wonders how he ever lived without that in his life.
“Well, my rental car is right there,” you say, nodding your head towards a black Toyota. “That’s probably more comfortable than the sidewalk.”
“You rented a car in New York City?” Eddie asks with a laugh.
“I rented that car from Boston and drove it here, thank you very much.”
“Why were you – oh shit, were you visiting Nancy and Steve? Meet the new baby?”
“I sure did,” you say with a bright grin. “Little Elliot already has his daddy’s hair.”
“Poor kid,” Eddie teases. You chuckle and reach out to grab his hand with yours. He laces his fingers with yours and it just feels right. Natural. Like it’s only been hours since you’d held one another's hands and not years.
“Come on,” you say and tug Eddie in the direction of your car. Once you’re both inside, the question that’s been begging to be asked finally slips out.
“Do you, uh, want to come back to my hotel room?”
Eddie takes in your nervous expression, like you’re afraid he’ll say no. He takes in your green dress, your gorgeous eyes, and everything he’s been missing.
“Yeah,” he says. “Unless you’re too eager and need to take me in the back of your car?”
The memory of you saying something very similar to him in high school makes you laugh as you turn the key to start the ignition.
“Don’t tempt me,” you answer.
The next morning you both decide to forgo breakfast. Another round of sex and cuddling takes precedence over food. And sleep, seeing as you both got less than three hours of sleep the whole night. Much of it was spent talking, catching up on what’s happened in the years since you’ve been together. Admissions of you both thinking of each other often over the years and heartfelt confessions that both of you want this to be something more than just a one-night reunion. You can write from the road if you want, Eddie tells you. He even promises to buy you the fanciest typewriter to keep on the tour bus. It sounds perfect. Being with Eddie everyday sounds like a dream come true.
The sun is peeking in through the curtain of the hotel room, rays casting over the white blankets you and Eddie are curled up underneath. Heads facing each other on the same pillow, Eddie’s hand cups the side of your face and strokes his thumb over your cheekbone. You two had celebrated all your firsts together. First kiss, first relationship, first time having sex, first heartbreak. Even just last night you’d had another first together when you’d forgone the condom because you wanted to feel one another as close as possible. It was the first time either of you had that complete skin to skin contact during sex.
Eddie wants all the firsts and onlys with you. He leans in and presses a kiss to your lips. Only fiancé. Another kiss. Only husband. Another kiss. Only father of your children. Another kiss. Only love of your life.
Reacting to Your First Sonogram | Barbatos x Reader
Being forbidden by his master, lord Diavolo, to look into the future he’d been a little surprised when you announced to him your pregnancy. Still he was only a little surprised, not only had he been bedding you multiple times a day, cumming in you every time, but he also recognized the early signs of pregnancy even before you had.
He was so concerned and curious how this pregnancy would go that he’d asked Diavolo to look into the future but Diavolo had told him that would ruin the fun of it.
So instead Barbatos was quick to research everything necessary and book you as many appointments as possible. He also scheduled as much free time as he could to give you relaxing spa days and all the special treatment the mother of his child deserved.
Now you were in the waiting room of an esteemed human world doctor with devildom affiliations who’d made time for the two of you in their busy schedule.
You leaned on Barbatos’s shoulder as he flipped through a pregnancy magazine. He’d already flipped through magazines advertising baby products and baby clothes and a magazine specific to motherhood opinions such as bottles vs breasts. Barbatos’s answer to the argument was that fed was best and you agreed, trying not to think about breastfeeding or any other challenges that may come up since you weren’t even two months pregnant.
Barbatos finished with the magazine and seeing as there weren’t anymore he handed it to you smiling, hoping it’d interest you.
It didn’t but you flipped through it anyway as you remained waiting for the doctor that Barbatos of all people sought out.
Barbatos held your hand tightly as he surveyed the waiting room for the millionth time, reassessing danger each time someone so much as flinched. He was extra protective now that he was protecting two people in one—his partner and his first child.
A nurse who looked like he’d been running around all day called out the fake name Barbatos had given.
The doctor had the real information, including who Barbatos really was, but no one else. The nurse held the door open for you and you and Barbatos made your way into the hall.
Barbatos stood on your “most vulnerable” side and had his arm wrapped around you for support and protection.
Another nurse stood outside the door to your room and gestured for you to walk in.
This nurse, a younger woman, had the room fully prepared including two glasses of water and a large tv on in the corner in case there was a wait.
Barbatos locked the door and stood in front of it just in case as you changed into the long robe. It didn’t seem like a standard hospital gown, in fact it had your initials inscribed.
“Umm, Barbatos how far did you go with all this?”
“Hm? Not far at all. I simply told the doctor when we’d be coming and to have everything ready my partner could possibly need.”
“So you scheduled this on your time?”
“Correct.”
“Okay.” So the doctor hadn’t squeezed you into the schedule, a powerful demon had told him he’d be showing up and the doctor just had to deal with that.
The doctor arrived shortly after Barbatos unlocked the door and you had rested your head on the pillow of the exam bed.
Barbatos put a second pillow under your knees to help prop you up nicely and the doctor, a nervous looking man, tried hard not to fumble through his questions, confirming everything Barbatos and you had filled out on the medical information sheet.
Barbatos smiled and nodded politely to everything but the doctor seemed more panicked by Barbatos’s lack of words.
“Okay, so what I’m going to do now is apply this gel to your stomach—“
“Allow me,” Barbatos said reaching out his hand with a ‘grin’.
The doctor obliged though he knew he wasn’t supposed to.
Barbatos put on a pair of plastic gloves and applied the gel to your stomach. You squeaked in surprise at the cold and he chuckled.
Seeing Barbatos’s light hearted reaction the doctor eased up a little bit.
The doctor fiddled with the monitor and sensing Barbatos’s intentions, instructed Barbatos on how he should handle the transducer.
Barbatos nodded approvingly and the doctor stepped back as Barbatos ran the transducer carefully over your gelled stomach until something caught his eye.
“Is that—“ his breath caught in his throat and the doctor grinned and nodded. He approached the monitor and pointed to the heartbeat Barbatos focused in on.
Barbatos immediately looked to you and smiled. He seemed a mix of grateful, approving, and relieved.
Just as you were about to become a mother, he too, a demon as old as time was about to experience something new—something that hadn’t happened in all his millennia.
He held your hand and allowed the doctor to hold the transducer as he scooted close to you at the end of the bed. He rested his head against your chest listening to your heartbeat as you both watched your child’s fast beating heart on screen.
