summary: over the years you find yourself falling more in love with your brother's best friend.

this is the first story I've ever written, so sorry if it's bad. anyway, hope you guys enjoy.

(the first day i saw him)

"mom!" I ran down the stairs. "yeah, what do you need?" "where's Nate? he said he would go to the movies with me over an hour ago." I was beginning to get upset, Nate promised that he would take me to see Spider-Man Homecoming with him. "I'm not sure, he said he would be home by 5" she responded. I let out a heavy sigh before walking out of the kitchen.

I went into the living room and sat on the couch, aimlessly scrolling on my phone. I watched as the minutes on the clock slowly ticked by, my eyes flicking to the front door every few seconds. it had been 3 hours before Nate had finally showed up, laughing as he walked through the door. three boys followed close behind him.

"dude that movie was so good" Nate said as he kicked off his shoes. "yeah, I still can't believe the way Spider-Man saved the Avenger's plane" one of the other boys spoke. I coughed loudly drawing the attention of my brother and his friends in the entryway. making eye contact with Nate, his face flashing with realization. "oh shit, y/n I'm so sor-" Nate tried to speak, but I stood up abruptly off the couch walking to my room and slamming the door.

the second I closed the door I could feel my eyes watering. it was one thing for Nate to blow of our plans because his practice ran late or something, but for him to go without me even though we had planned this out ever since the trailer came out, hurt. especially since he went with three people I've never met instead.

I jumped onto my bed, burying my face into the pillows. I could hear four sets of footsteps approaching my bedroom before someone knocked on the door. I knew it was Nate because he used the secret knock combination we came up with in order to tell if it was each other or our parents knocking. "go away Nate" my voice was muffled by the pillow. Nate had opened the door anyway, "y/n look I'm sorry, I totally forgot that we were planning to go to the movies today" I turned to face him when he spoke "yeah, yeah whatever Nate."

I glanced around him, taking in the appearance of his friends, each looking similar, but I could tell the differences once I looked a little longer. I made eye contact with the boy who was standing behind them all, almost not visible. I blushed and turned my head away so none of them could see it. "you can go, you obviously want to hang out with these people more than me anyway." Nate gave me a sad expression before walking out of my room, closing the door behind him. as I listened to the sounds of footsteps furthering from my door I decided to read a book instead of wallowing around.

the next time I looked at the clock it read 12:37 am. I decided that I might as well call it a night and changed into my pajamas, which consisted of a tank top and a pair of women's boxers. assuming that Nate's friends had gone home by now, I didn't bother to put on something more presentable as I left my room to grab a glass of water.

when I walked into the kitchen I was met with three pairs of eyes on me, with Nate being in the bathroom. "oh, you guys are still here" I uttered as I went to grab a glass. ''yep, seems like it" the one with longer hair spoke. my back was to them as I filled up the cup with water from the fridge. once finished I turned around to face the three boys. "look I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, its just that Nate promised me he would take me to see that movie months ago. anyway I'm y/n." holding out my hand to them. The one with a nose ring takes it first "Nick" he shook my hand. "I'm Chris" the one with long hair spoke, dapping me up. "and you?" I turned to the last boy, realizing it's the one that I locked eyes with earlier. "Matt" he smiled slightly as he took my hand. my face flushed feeling the electricity buzzing through my fingertips.

"okay well nice to meet you guys, but I'm off to bed. tell Nate that I said he better take me to see that movie tomorrow, I don't care if he just watched it." "will do" Chris spoke, Matt and Nick nodded along. I headed back towards my room and closed the door, still thinking about the feeling of Matt's hand on mine. "well this is going to be a problem" I mumbled to myself before shutting off the light and snuggling under my covers.

Nate had brought the triplets over again, many times over the next few years. each time my crush on Matt grew a little stronger. besides that I had actually gained a friendship with all of them.

Fluff - Chris takes care of his girlfriend, Y/n when she is sick.

I lay in bed, my body aching and my head pounding. I woke up this morning feeling like my body was literally shutting down on me, I'm never really ill but when I am I literally feel like death. My body is quite clearly sweating but i'm shaking as if I'm freezing to death. I can't sleep despite the fact that I'm so tired.

As I rot away in my bed I hear the door to my apartment open. I lift my head up from my pillow, my head literally feels like it's going to explode.

"Y/n?" | hear Chris shout. I totally forgot Chris was supposed to come over today, l haven't been on my phone all day because I can't even bare to look at the glaring screen.

"I'm in my bedroom!" | shout back to my boyfriend, my voice cracking several times.

Chris walks into my room, I turn over to face him and give him a weak smile as he looks at me with a look of complete worry and concern.

"Are you okay?" Chris says and he sits next to me on the bed.

"No I feel like fucking death" | groan as Chris pulls my shaking body into his arms.

"I can tell you're fucking boiling" Chris says as he holds me close to his chest, his hand pressed against my forehead to feel the heat radiating from my body. His fingers lightly rub my back as I continue to shake in his arms. "Have you taken any medicine or anything?" He asks. I shake my head as I bury my face in his chest, feeling safe and warm in his arms.

"I couldn't be bothered to get up" I say as Chris continues to rub my back.

"Do you want me to go get you some?" Chris says as he observes my fragile and sick body. I nod my head as my eyes close just wanting rid of whatever this illness is.

"There's some in the kitchen, third draw down" I say as I move over to let Chris get up. He rubs my back momentarily before leaving the room to go get my medicine.

I starfish in my bed as I wait for Chris to come back until I begin to sweat uncontrollably, I literally feel like I'm on fire. I sit up and take my sweats off, leaving me in my underwear and crop top. I then get up and turn my fan on, almost crying because of how hot I am.

Chris walks back into my room, a glass of water in one hand and medicine in his other. He chuckles at me sprawled out on the bed in front of my fan, groaning in pain because of my insufferable headache.

"I'm too fucking hot and I literally think my head is going to explode" I wine. Chris sits next to me and looks at me with sympathy as i groan in pain.

"Here take this" He says as he passes me ibuprofen and water. I sit up and put the medicine in my mouth, washing it down with some water.

"Thank you" I say as I snuggle up close to Chris. He wraps his arms around me and begins to gently massage my back, causing me to sigh in content.

“Are you feeling any better?” Chris asks.

“A little bit” I say. “Better now you’re here” I say in jokingly sexy voice, making Chris and I giggle.

“You still manage to be sexy even if you’re literally dying” Chris chuckles.

A few moments pass of Chris and I watching the Tv as Chris massages my back for me, making me feel so much better.

"Are you hungry?" Chris asks as he looks down at me. I look up at him to meet his pretty blue eyes and give him a smile as I nod my head.

"I'll order some food now" He says as he pulls his phone out, already knowing exactly what I want.

“Thank you” I say while smiling. My heart feels so warm, I'm so grateful to have a boyfriend like Chris.

I stare at Chris as I admire him and everything he does for me. He catches me staring at lets out a little chuckle.

"You're so pretty Y/n" Chris says as he plays with my disheveled hair.

“So are you” I say, making us both giggle.

"I love you" Chris says as he places a soft kiss on my cheek.

"I love you too baby" I say before Chris begins to pepper my face in kisses, totally unbothered by the fact that he could catch my sickness.

This is quite short and it's not that good but I hope you liked it anyways 🫶🫶

i have a lot of postal dude headcanons, so ive split them up.

so heres my postal 1 dude headcanons

p1 dude has a special interest on the jets and weaponry used in ww2 and the vietnam war, but also the U.S military as a whole. he specifically likes to collect vintage U.S military memorabilia and propaganda. he can go on for hours about the faults of the government and government greed and corruption, he hates the system. he also knows a lot about JFK assassination theories and will go on for hours about them.

oh yeah. postal 1 dude is autistic.

he also has a spin on guns. he knows them all by name and loves to learn about different manufacturers and how each one are built. he knows how to deconstruct them and put them back together. he even has some guns he's made himself. legal? probably not. he doesnt care.

p1 dude also prefers reading in books for information instead of searching the web for them, so amongst the mess of his house is just piles upon piles of books.

p1 dude also is great at poetry. he loves writing too, which is why i think he started his diaries.

he also loves drawing! he loves going out and drawing scenery the most, he also likes drawing nude figures. he finds the human body to be interesting.

p1 dude is religious. im divided on if i see him as someone whos spiritually aligned closer to catholics (though i wouldnt call him a straight up catholic, he doesn't like the church.) or pagen.

talking about pagen dude, correct me if im wrong, i dont know much about pagenism (but ive been trying to learn more as of recent), but he specifically worships greek gods. out of the gods, his favorite is ares.

he hangs around poostall dude a lot. they arent really friends, they're kinda opposites of each other, but poostall looks up to him as a mentor in philosophy among other things.

he used to be active in his local punk scene when he was younger. he has a lot of cds and tapes of obscure bands that almost no one has heard of.

he loves metal more then anything though, and he also has a large collection of horror films (all on vhs, a few of dvd. he doesnt have his dvd player plugged in so he only uses it if he has too. also refused to buy blueray. if its the only option he burns it onto a disk himself.).

his favorite genres of metal are melodic death metal and prog metal. i would also say dsbm but i feel like thats too corny. he loves opeth. also death.

he's non-speaking most of the time by choice. the older he's gotten the more he started to isolate himself, and he usually chooses to ignore people when theyre talking and not respond at all, mainly just people who ask for directions and stuff on the street he'll just ignore. he just doesnt feel the need too, he likes to stay invisible.

talking about that, he hates leaving his house. it used to be because of anxiety but it slowly became due to his other mental health issues getting worse, especially his fear of everyone being out to get him/everyone else being demons/whatever your interpretation of his reasonings behind postal 1 is.

3 in one shampoo. also uses hand soap to shave instead of shaving cream. also uses hand soap to wash his face...

he needs glasses. his sunglasses also has his normal prescription lenses in them, his eyes are sensitive to light so he chose to make them sunglasses too (i believe this is possible. if its not, well it is now). he also has a 2nd pair that are just normal glasses, he uses them only to read or when he's walking around his house at night. (this is totally not me self reflecting with the realization that i just found out i need glasses..../s)

I DONT KNOW HOW I FORGOT TO MENTION but also has a special interest on nuclear disasters, nuclear power plants, and radiation. theyre not separate theyre all apart of one fixation that branches off the core idea of nuclear power. like he cant have one without the other. if that makes sense.

also uses he/they. he doesnt out right say it, he doesnt use social media so its not like, in a bio or anything. he just naturally picked it up. will also accept she being used to refer to himself, but is not something he states publicly or asks people to do. he was surrounded by the queer community growing up as most of his highschool friends were apart of the community so he just one day realized he wasnt opposed to it being used in reference to himself.

he is an ASSHOLE. he used to be more considerate in his youth but the older he got the grumpier he got. he is SCARY when he insults someone. like he will have an entire ass speech of him just degrading someone until they literally have nothing left to say for themselves.

doesnt get angry though. he's calm when hes upset and frustrated, or will straight up just make fun of and make harsh jokes about the situation (i mean that like. if he gets into a disagreement with someone on the street he will laugh at them and mock them by teasing them. thats what i mean.)

What are your all-time favorite outfits from Twisted Wonderland?

Hello @letterstoear, thank you for ask! I've had a lot of fun making this post, and I'm so sorry that it took forever to answer!

Every time I was certain I had my list narrowed down, I remembered another outfit I really liked. (Also, I'm a little bit biased, as you will see...haha). This time, I focused on event outfits to make it easier for myself. Maybe in the future I'll post my "reviews" on dorm uniforms or Halloween costumes.

I am always blown away by the the little details that Yana Toboso and the rest of the design team have added to each of characters' outfits, because they give some interesting insight to their personalities and backgrounds.

Without further ado, let's discuss some outfits! (Please note that there are spoilers for upcoming events from the JP server, as well as some groovy arts!)

My Favorite Twisted Wonderland Outfits

10. Floyd's Outdoor Wear (Vargas Camp)

Most of the outfits on my list are on the extravagant side. I recently bought a volume of Black Butler, where there was a note about how Yana Toboso loves to draw clothing, and it truly shows.

But in contrast to seeing our beloved characters in over-the-top costumes, it's refreshing to see them wearing casual outfits once in a while as well and see their individual, everyday styles.

I'll admit that I haven't played any of the Vargas Camp events, and have a grand total of zero (0) cards from this series. I'm not sure why; I always miss the event's runtime for some reason.

Still, I've always loved Floyd's little sling bag with the eel keychain, as well as the teal visor. The bright colors stand out and are appealing.

The whole outfit looks like something you could get from a store like Uniqlo, and sometimes it is nice to have that sort of realism in a magical game. He looks like an ordinary teenager I could find on the street. Except...if I did find Floyd on the street, I'd be running in the other direction. But that's not the main idea here.

9. Azul's Glorious Masquerade Outfit

At first, I sort of forgot that this SSR existed. When the PV for Glorious Masquerade came out, I was more focused on Malleus.

However, eventually, many people began to cosplay as GloMas Azul, and they all looked so amazing. I began to appreciate the outfit more after seeing people pose and dance in it. Azul also tends to have some of the best fanart, and fans have spared no expense when drawing him wearing this.

My favorite part of the outfit is his coat. I like the silhouette it creates with a high-waist belt, and the long coattails that resemble tentacles. The ruffles on his trousers are cute, too. I would buy a pair if I could. Unfortunately, it's hard to see these details on his in-game sprite.

As for his accessories, the pearls are so dramatic (and so very Azul). His round glasses are also cute, I hope he wears them again!

8. Idia's Suitor Suit

One look at Idia's Ghost Marriage outfit, and you can really tell that it was designed by Yana Toboso. His gloves, coat, and cravat make him look like he's in the Victorian Era. Also, doesn't he look sort of like Grelle from Black Butler?

Speaking of Grelle, Idia's outfit is meant to look more like funeral attire, between the long, black coat and the lilies pinned to his shoulder. There are also skulls hidden throughout his outfit, such as on his jacket chain and cufflinks. I was still new to TWST at the time, so I just thought that Idia liked gothic clothing. I didn't realize he was (at least in his mind) attending his own funeral!

Let's not forget his new hairstyle! This is one of Idia's first SSRs if I remember correctly, so it was exciting to see him with a ponytail.

My love for this outfit also comes from my love for the story associated with it. Fans have pointed out that Idia's "arranged marriage" with Eliza parallels the myth of Hades and Persephone. The design team and Yana were so clever for this.

I don't have this card, either, but I hope to pick him up one day!

7. Ortho's Fairy Gear

The Shroud brothers are luckyーthey are probably two of the characters with the most SSRs in the game.

That being said, we all have to agree that Ortho's fairy gear is one of the most unique and avant-garde cards in the game.

I really enjoy the white and gold color scheme in this event. His color-changing wings are stunning, and the piece covering his eyes makes him look very mysterious.

I thought this card was cool when I first saw it, but then I learned that Ortho's outfit and hair can turn pink, which is even better.

Every time I see his "pointe shoes," it makes me imagine Ortho and Idia trying to learn how to dance together in Idia's room, and Idia obsessively studying ballet costumes for his younger brother.

Yet again, I don't have this card, but my best friend does! At least I can admire him from her phone...

6. Silver's Rabbit Wear

There is no way that this outfit is just an R card! When this card was first advertised in one of the JR rail train stations, the pictures showed this card with Deuce's hometown in the background instead of the standard Diasomnia R background, so I thought that this card would at least be an SR. (Although I can't complain so much, because that means it's free!)

Silver is so princely. I am convinced that he can look good in anything. I am fond of pastel colors, and the pink/blue color scheme suits him, as the TWST version of Aurora. The bows may be silly, but I find them adorable.

Compared to the other boys in this event, Silver's outfit looks a little more like a soldier's (albeit a toy soldier's or a nutcracker's), which is a cool touch.

5. Deuce's Rabbit Wear

Deuce's hometown event was truly one of my favorite events that came out in the JP sever last year. Not only were some of my most favorite characters there, but they were dressed up in the most whimsical outfits possible. (And we got to meet Deuce's motherーshe's the coolest!)

Since Deuce is the main character of this event, his outfit bears the most resemblance to the white rabbit's in most classic illustrations, complete with a bow tie, top hat, and, of course, his pocket watch. His outfit has a blue color scheme. Like Azul in GloMas, Deuce also wears round glasses in his groovy art. Overall, it looks like the sweet ouji style, although I'm not very familiar with this sub-fashion. If anyone who is reading this has studied/worn this style of fashion, please let me know!

I used to play Love Nikki and Shining Nikki (two fashion-themed gacha games), which also featured lolita dresses inspired by Alice in Wonderland characters. For this reason, Deuce's outfit in particular feels very nostalgic to me.

4. Lilia's Right General Armor

Here's another departure from the cute pastel outfits...

Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorite Disney movies as a child. I always remembered Maleficent's "goons" as short, silly little creatures wearing simple green tunics.

So how on earth did we get to Right General Lilia Vanrouge?!

Seriously, I'm just stunned by how the artists looked at the source material and created something so radically, yet wonderfully, different.

I'm curious about the green stones (jades?) on his outfit--around his waist, there are several pieces attached to tassels, and he has two strapped to his right leg. The material matches the stone used for his weapon. Maybe it represents his status in Briar Valley. If you check his (unposed) sprite, you can also see that he is wearing something around his waist that looks like folded bat wings.

Like everyone else, I'm obsessed with his long hairーit makes him look so formidable, especially with that hood. My friends and I like to joke that his ponytail makes him look like a character in a Chinese martial arts drama.

Again, the story associated with this card made me love it even more. Few books have made me cry as much as Book 7 of TWST.

3. Malleus' Glorious Masquerade Outfit

While Sleeping Beauty was my favorite movie as a young child, when I got older, I began to love The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It was only natural for this outfit to be among my favorites for this reason.

There are so many details here. The feathered hat. The sheer sleeves. The golden embroidery. The split cape. It's honestly overwhelming to take in at once.

I can say that my favorite detail is his green earrings. They really bring out his eye color, and the PV made them so sparkly.

In addition, everyone I've ever seen who has cosplayed as GloMas Malleus or has drawn fanart of him has increased my appreciation of this outfit.

[Now for some very spoiler-y stuff] The fact that this event came just before the release of Chapter 7 is worth noting. Doesn't it feel a bit tragic that just before Malleus' overblot, we have a chance to see him wearing an outfit that makes him look especially like his mother, having fun and being the star at the masquerade? And what about the feathers on his shouldersーdo they hint at another side of his family? There's so much foreshadowing and mystery going on, and nothing is more suitable for the occasion than masquerade attire.

2. Kalim's New Year Attire

I've already rambled about how sentimental this outfit is to me in a previous post, but in summary: New Year is my favorite holiday, and the New Year's Sale event was the first event I "seriously" participated in. Kalim looks excessively cute and festive in his kimono, and every time I see this card, I feel nostalgic and in the holiday mood.

1. (Tied) Epel's Applepom Outfit and Riddle's Beach Outfit

I'm really sorry, Epel and Riddle are my favorite characters, and in the end, I refuse to chose between them. They're like my younger brothers! I try to collect all of their cards, so I pay attention to their outfits the most, and picking only one outfit for each character was a challenge in itself.

My favorite part of Epel's Applepom outfit is his cloak. It looks so fluffy and warm. When you set him as your home screen character, you also have the option to "swap looks" and see his outfit without the cloak--the apple embroidery on the rest of his outfit is very detailed. Many fans have mentioned that the outfits people wear in Harveston resemble traditional Scandinavian clothing, which is really cool!

The little apple slices on his cap are everything.

And I'm always happy to see characters in different hairstyles, such as Epel's little ponytail.

One of my headcanons is that you're allowed to call Epel cute, but only when he wears this specific outfit, because he takes it as a complement to his culture.

As for Riddle, we're all so used to seeing him wearing formal suits. It's so nice to see him loosening up for once. He looks so happy, now that he has the chance to see the ocean for the first time!

I also happened to be on vacation at the beach around the time this event came out, so it felt like a gift.

I have to laugh a little, because there are so many flowers on his outfit. Even Jack pointed it out in the story. But he looks so cute!

I suppose we have to discuss the elephant in the room. My friend saw it before me, so she spammed me with messages along the lines of "RIDDLE IS WEARING A CROP TOP!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!" and I naturally thought she was pranking me. But lo and behold, it's the truth. I like to headcanon that among the rest of the cast in this event, everyone has made an unspoken mutual agreement not to mention it. This Victorian child has already been through enough, and not a word must reach Mrs. Rosehearts.

Growing Pains

Pairing: Rafe Cameron x Reader

Warnings: swearing, nothing but medical talk

A/n: This is a request made by @tee-swizzle my love, "hi bestie 😃 I was wondering if you could recreate me and the hubbys first Valentine’s Day with Rafe." I love you and your requests.

My eyes crack open to see Rafe standing in the doorway, flowers in his hands and a small smile on his lips and he takes a few hesitant steps into the room, eyes dragging over the brace on my leg, his smile tugging down.

"Hi sweetheart." Rafe whispers, sitting down beside me before flicking on the lamp beside my bed, his eyes finally glancing over my tired expression after a long day of being away from each other.

"Happy Valentines Day." I hold my hand out to him, stealing the flowers from his grasp with a bright smile, loving the purples and pink ones mixed in with the red roses.

"Oh yeah, I totally forgot." He scoffs with a simple eyeroll, sitting beside me on the bed, trying not to touch my leg as if it's glass.

"Shut up." I giggle, the ache in my chest, the anxiety I felt, all gone now that he's here beside me, his hair ruffled on the top of his head and his eyes look tired and there's a part of me that feels bad for putting him through the ringer these last few days of me being in the hospital.

"How're you feeling?" He asks with a sigh, smiling as I sniff the flowers, eyes fluttering closed. "Do you want me to just wanna chop it off?" He nods towards my bum leg with a small smirk and it finally draws a laugh out of me after a few days without it.

"Not necessarily."

"Is there anything I can do?" He asks with a heavy heart, hand reaching out to take my free one in his, gripping it tightly and I really begin to see his exhaustion shine through his handsome face.

"Just hang with me." He nods as if it's the simplest request ever, his smile brightening tenfold as he scooches a bit closer to me, brushing a hand across my cheek "Thank you for the flowers, they'll brighten the room a bit." He takes them from me and sets them on the table and I can already see the question 'where will I get a vase' churning in his mind.

"In the morning I'll go grab your favorite breakfast, wherever you want." He promises, leaning down to press a firm kiss to my lips, reminding me that he's here, that I'm here and everything's okay.

"Sorry we're spending Valentines Day here." I huff, feeling the weight on my chest return and he grins, his eyes shining with the most honesty and sincerity that I've ever seen from his typical joking manner.

"I'm just glad I'm with you."

Another Random Assortment of my AU Scribbles from Various points in Time. Notes Are Below:

Yes I forgot the ... Handlebars ??? Omega has on his shoulders on that First Drawing . Yes this is a Crime that I Rectify in my later Scribbles. Otherwise the changes made were made for my Awesome Au where I can make the designs easier to draw for my Puny Mind.

Uncle Chuck but he’s Evil. And his Mustache? Fake. He puts it over his nose. Why did I make him Evil? I thought it would be Funny. I tried to make him look Less like Old Sonic and turned his eyebrows into Spines. His outfit is loosely based off his Pre Reboot Archie Fit. But only Loosely.

I don't actually know Why I did designs for Honey and Mina. Honey looks more Akin to a Tiger now and I Epically Failed to translate her outfit to my Redesign Rules. Mina I completely overhauled Simply for the sake of it, I guess. Tried to keep the Important Elements and Reinterpret them.

Just turned Wave's shirt into that fluff the other two Babylon Rogues have. I didn't add her Glasses here but I Probably would give them Back.

Bunnie and Cassia I scribbled Awhile Back. I don't have Much to say, considering it was A Long While Ago. But I liked them Well Enough to put here, I guess. I Apparently tried and Failed to scribble Clove as well (which is why she’s Missing)

Harvey Who and his Iconic Line AND YOU COULDN’T EVEN STOP ONE SKUNK???? He is in my AU for that Alone

I thought it would be fun to Combine aspects of the Freedom Fighters and Secret Freedom Fighters. Especially the Totally Original Field Outfits (The Joke is They Are Actually from Sonic Rivals)

Before I started on my arty Crowley T shirts and got totally distracted, I was trying to do a drawing a day in my sketchbook... but once the T shirts took over I forgot about the sketchbook.... basically it inspired the T shirts. Here are the DT ones I started... none are finished , all works in progress. I must try to get back to the drawing.

This was the first one.... like this image was the first T shirt.

I have loved Rotring pens since I was 16 in my first year at Art School.

I also love Dip pens and Indian ink.

All 3 of these images are on T Shirts.

They take ages with all the dots.

I had to buy the Radio Times to draw this the weekend he presented the Bafta film awards.

mmm... merman cove is so pretty even in human form

in human form, he has scales in a few places

down the side of his hips to the top of his thighs and a few straglers on his ankles

his scales are blue and green. they're iridescent as well, super pretty

the closer to his chest, the lighter his scales are but there's still some dark ones around his hips that are more like a navy blue

his fins are probably on the greener side as well, and im thinking more translucent too

i looked at some fanart, i think his tail would be more on the "capey" side as well

wears waist chain's mostly when he's in human form, since he doesn't have any fins getting caught or evil pirates to worry about

he brings you many many gifts

he's like a puppy this way

you have jars of shells and sand, some sand different colors from certain beaches he's visited.

cove even brought you your own string of pearls, and you have mini towers of different colored sea glass

so many gifts that you have a whole book case for them and even then some things spill into other areas of the house

whether or not you met cove at a young age, i think you start to understand what all his different chirps and sounds mean

like a few quick chirps are a sign of happiness

i even imagine he purrs like a cat so he'll put your hand to his heart and let you feel the rumble of his chest

or he'll nuzzle your cheek and you can hear it in your ear <33
