That moment when you want to go to sleep and you choose a nice little scenario in your head that calms you down BUT THEN THE AGES, BIRTHDATES OR HISTORICAL PLACES DON'T ADD UP AND IT TRIGGERS SO MUCH YOU HAVE TO GRAB YOUR PHONE AND GOOGLE AND CALCULATE FOR AN HOUR and after that is done you can go back to sleep because your eyes started hurting from the screen and your scenario is now accurate BUT YOUR BRAIN IS AT FULL POWER NOW AND YOU CANNOT SLEEP

Tbh i love school but its the stress that makes me want to die, too many damn assignments, the inconsistent shit every damn day.

For context, my school is a laboratory school where they let graduating teachers have some experience in teaching, basically an educators school.

like, we have a sense of pride of being students of this school, we’re proud because we, as kids and adults from the ages of 4 to college age that we got accepted to this school, it gives us this proof to the outside world that “we’re smart! Adaptable!”

like, my school knows that they give a lot of assignments and that it stresses us out, the teaching interns, student and the student’s parents. So, they give us one free day a week to do our assignments, it used to be on Friday but now its on Wednesday so now there’s a cut between our schedule and makes it even more stress inducing because you know that its due tomorrow.

and then the absolute SHIT OF A SCHEDULE, LIKE WE HAVE 4 CLASSES IN A DAY BUT THEY ARE 2 HOURS EACH, ATTENTION SPANS ARENT MEANT TOBE THIS LONG, AND THEN;

the wednesday free day, aside from the stress inducing fact that you have class the next day, it cuts off the flow of your week and most of us take two days max to finish the given assignments (we have lots i oh f assignments)

and then theres this thing about holidays, there are lots in the philippines, so they usually move it to Friday.

so when theres a holiday it goes like :

Monday, Tuesday, oh no class today!, Thursday, HOLIDAY.

and then we have to make up for the missed lessons the next week adding more homework to be due in the next two days.

i canstillspew words but im tired asf and its almost 10pm and i have school tomorrow
