Why do the other humans want to terraform you.
Why can’t we just fix our own home.
We aren’t the only living things.
We can’t just leave everything else to die in the world we ruined.
That's what I don't get!
Why do you seek to change planets when your own needs healing?
The planet you reside on weeps and begs for care
Yet you plan to abandon it so you can live elsewhere
You turn away from its wounds, the scars you left, unfeeling
You don't care for anyone but yourselves
It's pathetic, how the human race can only survive by destruction
How in your pursuit for progress you breed corruption
How in your selfish quest, it is your resolve that dissolves
Forget your dream to live on me, take care of Earth
For it sustains you, no need to roam
It loves you, your precious home
Nurture it, shield it from harm and cherish its worth

Zucchini evolution - 1 week 🥒🔆💦
Each year since I started my green journey I’ve challenged myself to grow something new, and see first hand the resiliency of nature in my local environment.
My raised garden bed is primarily clay - and currently home to a pretty large anthill. I maintain peace with the insects by leaving their corner colony alone, and supplement the clay with store bought soil when I plant initially, but beyond that all I do to the earth is weed and water when needed and wait 👀
Which means I’m VERY excited to have both my new crops for 2023 - garlic and these beautiful zucchini’s, doing well!
While our grow and harvest may still be small scale, a lot can still be done on a tiny budget with the help of our incredible planet! 🤩

Happy Earth Day!!!
In honor of this wonderful day, I usually try and commit to at least one resolution to either live sustainably or help the environment. Last year, my resolution was to start using a compost bin to reduce food waste and revive the dead soil in my backyard. This year, I think I'm going to try and improve the way I reduce, reuse, and recycle things, and try to be a better activist. So, I made a small list of resolutions and lifestyle changes people can try too!
Resolutions:
Reduce red meat intake
Reduce unnecessary water intake (don't just let the water run needlessly)
Use cold water for cleaning and washing things (it works just as well, I promise)
Use laundry detergent sheets instead of buying big bottles of detergent
Use environmentally friendly cleaning products
Turn of the lights when you're not in the room
Use reusable bags when shopping
Reusable over disposable
But if you must use disposable, go for the decomposable
Buy things from goodwill or second-hand stores
Buy what you need more often than buying what you don't
Learn to, and properly, recycle items
Learn about what and where you buy certain products and the effects those companies and products have on the environment
Reduce how often you use fast-shipping when ordering things online
(Properly) use a compost box for leftovers
Stop idling your car
Use public transportation or carpool when you can
Use the train more than airplanes when possible
Turn off the A.C or the heater whenever you leave the house
Try to keep the things you own in good condition for as long as possible
Try to fix broken items before deciding to throw them out
Grow your own food
Plant pollinator-friendly, native, or drought friendly plants
Turn your yard into an area of biodiversity
Donate clothing you don't want instead of throwing it out
Use more reusable items instead of disposable ones
Reduce the amount you, or quit, smoking (at the very least, don't drop them on the floor and leave them there to put them out)
Reduce the amount of carbonated beverages you drink (it sounds weird, but the less you drink, the less you buy, which reduces plastic intake)
If you're replacing any phones/tablets/ect. make sure you send them to a proper technology store that will recycle them
Let your lawn grow out a bit more and water it a bit less
Donate to non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting and restoring the environment
Use less pesticides and weed killer in your garden
Have some other form of vacation that doesn't involve cruise ships or private jets/helicopters

What can be the effects of this Clean It to Green It initiative on our ecosystem?
This Clean It to Green It has a lot of advantages that can really help our ecosystem be in a better state, especially the tree planting activity since these days many are deforestation, which is a bad idea since trees are beneficial when it comes to natural disasters, so we should plant trees to lessen the impact of natural disasters on our earth. I believe that this Clean It to Green It" campaign can educate people, and if that happens, the goals of this campaign's advocacy will be accomplished, and by that, there will be a lot of changes in our ecosystem and it can lessen the environmental issues that we are currently facing. One of the goals of Green It to Clean It" is to preserve our ecosystem for the next generation and make sure that we will be healing the ecosystem to make it a better place to live. The ecosystem is very important; we should take good care of it, not harm it, and make it better in the future.

I know I'm in the midst of an episode when I start preaching in my bedroom talking about
We humans need the Earth! Not the world, not this 'society', but the Earth! What is the common denominator among all of human history? THE EARTH!
PRAISE THE EARTH PRAISE THE DIRT PRAISE THE LITTLE BUGS THAT CRAWL ACROSS THE PICNIC TABLE
