Lunan: a being in an autocosm that is derived from the metasoul and shares a soul and/or a sense of "selfhood" with the metasoul and other lunen (lunen is plural for lunan).

You can refer to another lunan in your cosm as a lunemate :3

I named lunen after the concept of moons, as I conceptualize lunen as moons orbiting around a planet (the metasoul) sometimes.

Distraction

The potion bubbling within the cauldron had turned a pleasant teal colour, tendrils of smoke wafting visibly into the air alongside a faint fragrance of rose oil and ginger root. Lily pulled in a satisfied breath at the sight, taking a moment to sweep her gaze across the room and note that she was indeed the first person in class to have finished her brewing.

Thanks to the humidity clinging to the air, sweat had quickly dampened her skin, and as a frizzy lock of dark red hair tumbled over her eyes again, she clicked her tongue in annoyance, hands reaching back to tug at the scrunchie that was barely holding the strands together.

She felt the heavy weight of her hair unravel and settle between her shoulders, and allowed her fingers to slowly comb out the knots and tangles to the best of her ability, given the circumstances. But it was only when she bunched up her hair at the base to try and pull it back into a neat ponytail again that a pointed sort of throat clearing snatched her attention.

She twisted on her feet, hands holding hair, one eyebrow cocked, and found James Potter’s unwavering gaze stuck on her from one bench behind. His cheeks were flushed in the heat.

“Yes?” she prompted.

“Uh, nothing. Just—” he cleared his throat again, stupendously ignoring how Sirius Black was practically collapsing in hysteria next to him as he tried to keep his laughter soundless. “You should leave your hair open.”

Lily’s grip on the strands loosened out of sheer surprise.

“I’m sorry, what?”

“I don’t... It’s not, like, a command or anything. I only meant that—well, your hair’s dead pretty.” When her lips parted in shock, he blushed harder, hazel eyes widening. “Merlin, not like… bugger. It’s just, all the hair movement is very distracting, and I can't concentrate on my potion.”

“So…” Lily squinted her eyes, lips twitching. “You want me to leave it open so that I stop distracting you with my dead pretty hair?”

James made some type of unintelligible noise in response.

“Don’t provoke him, Evans,” Sirius chimed in, wiping a tear from the corner of his eye. “My lungs and his brain can’t take anymore.”

“Fuck off,” James muttered into his cauldron, the tips of his ears tinged pink.

But Lily simply smiled, something secretive and soft, and ran a hand through her hair to smooth it back over her shoulder. And as she walked over to the cupboard to grab a vial to pour her potion into, she made sure to brush past James’s desk deliberately.

“Only because I can’t have you getting distracted,” she hummed, mouth curving into a smirk as she spied his potion, tilted her head towards it. “It’s already three shades darker than it needs to be.”

James watched her for two silent seconds; assessing, barely breathing.

“Suppose there’s no saving it now,” he murmured eventually. “Might as well let myself get distracted.”

Visually designing a character often takes a lot of iterations, but this character didn't take to long to make visually. This character did go through a lot of written iterations though, going over their history, skills, and personality. This is certainly not the last iteration of this character. Meet Lunan Vorobyev-Obratnye, lover and healer. They are from a fantasy game called Twin Mask, a larp in Southern California. They are from the in-game culture of the Trahazi, the colorful nomads. Their design is heavily inspired by the real life history and culture of the Romani people, as well as influences from Jewish culture and general Eastern Europe. They are magically inclined, often drawing from plants and nature to heal and divine. They love strongly and fiercely and care greatly for their family.

Anyways here is my shadar-kai baby, his name is Lunan ^^

I imagined him to be a wild sorcerer, because getting blown up by your own magic is always fun 💀

But yeah if I could make a shadar-kai without mods in BG3 I would in a heartbeat- He isn't exactly a Tav though, I've thought about his story outside of Baldur's Gate as well

Though he is fairly new, so I don't have much info about him ^^

I may be too late, but if you're still chatting about your ocs, what is a silly/fun habit of theirs?

I will always be up for chatting about my ocs, it just maybe hard to pick which ones. I guess we will do the 3 I think of first~ Mitsuru is avid about superstitions, even when being taken into the Hisui region he keeps to them. Watching this boy try not to step on cracks or throwing salt over his shoulder if he spills it always confuses his pokemon. His Typhlosion however started mimicking him so he also will try to jump cracks though he doesn't understand why Mitsuru does this. Prim feeds his small dragon vegetables, ever since it appeared when he got his vision the little creature has been a trashcan for them. His dragon, which he named Mythos, doesn't mind one bit she actually likes them from time to time. She doesn't need to eat but she does it for Prim anyways. Childe tends to get on to him for this habit, though he always gets blown off by Prim. Lunan to this day when no one is around bounce around on his toes like he did when he was performing. He lets himself fall back into the rhythms he became so used to all those years ago before being cursed. Even though his whole body aches he puts as much energy into performances now as he did back then for the rulers of the fallen kingdom he loved so dear. The small child who ends up traveling with him at one point, her name is Hanako, sometimes joins in with him and its the closest thing to happy she has ever seen although his smile still falls short of his eyes.
