William James Moriarty

Despite William is still a little skeptical about the thought of him being babied out. But let’s be real here, this man is touch starved! Let’s all agree that William is a LITTLE spoiled.

He never had a mom in general, so he really can’t imagine what mother’s love feels like. He’s an orphan and he never knew his mother. So mother’s love is definitely not something he can experience… Well… That’s before he met you…

After he met you. He somehow starts to know what a mother’s love feels like. It’s a strange sensation, but it’s a good kind of strange. The best one yet. And he wouldn’t like it any other way.

He was definitely embarrassed about admitting himself being a little spoiled and touch starved. But he doesn’t try to deny it so much like Albert. Since it’s pretty clear that he may be a bit touch starved.

He can clearly notice your motherly behavior from the start of the relationship. Like how you oftenly cooks for him, and remind him to drink water, and regularly ask him if he had eaten. He also loves how you like to bake cookies for him and and feed him them. Also his biggest weakness is how you feed him cookies while he sits on your lap, it always makes him feel weak around you.

He’s definitely flustered with how you treated him like a child. But he honestly loves how you spoil him! It makes him feel warm and gives him butterflies. He really do love it.

His behavior of being more childlike is actually quite subtle and slow. And most of the time it’s unnoticeable, but it’s probably because he rarely shows how spoiled and clingy he is in public. And most of the time he shows how spoiled he is in private when he’s alone with you. But you can notice how he’s a bit more clingy from time to time.

Despite he’s a little embarrassed being spoiled. He’s not exactly ashamed of it and more accepting to that side of his unlike Albert. He can admit that to you, but only you tough~

He really loves the way you’re loving him. It makes him feel like he was in cloud 9. It really comforts him after everything he has to go trough. It’s the first time he ever felt so calm and comfortable with anyone else. You don’t know how happy he is to have you…

He honestly don’t mind you babying him . If anything he really likes it (please do baby him). He also loves how you feed him cookies while also gently caressing his cheek. He also adored how you hold him close every night and sing him a lullaby to sleep. It makes him feel safe and protected everytime he’s in your arms~….

He just faces into your love and affection. He won’t complain at all when you put him on your lap and cradle him. He just enjoys the attention that he’s getting.

Louise is actually thrilled to have you caring for William. He honestly really look up to you cause you’re able to make his brother so happy and comfortable with only your presence. He only wants the best for his brother after all, and there’s no one else in the world that he would let his brother be with. Albert is also glad that William found a woman he’s completely comfortable with.

He oftenly lays his head on your lap when he takes a nap and let you play with his hair as he falls asleep. But he also really enjoys laying in bed as you softly scratch his back until he falls asleep. Either way, he loves it!

And for cradling…. Well, he REALLY likes it. It’s embarrassing but he honestly likes it so much. It makes him feel like a baby, sure. But he just can’t ignore the fact that it makes his heart melt.

He just felt so calm laying his head on your shoulders and smelling your sweet scent while you rock him back and forth slowly in your arms. It was the first time he was ever treated like this and he adores it to the very core…

It doesn’t took him long to adapt his his new behavior and tendencies. He accepts that new side of his and learn to live with it. He let’s himself act all spoiled to you without any shame at all. His childhood wasn’t exactly the “prettiest” so he’s glad to try to have a good and loving childhood now. And you believe in “there’s no such thing as too late to have a happy childhood”!.

Only a few people in the crew notice his mildly childlike acts. Well, it’s not exactly childlike he’s just clingier and his acts is similar to a behavior of a quiet child that clings onto her mother. But you still count that as a childlike behavior cause it’s not how he usually acts like.

Being a crime consultant is no easy work. It’s exhausting most of the time and he often deal with rotten nobles. Not a pleasant job to have. But when he’s with you, he can finally be able to forget everything and feel that maybe the world isn’t as dark as it is.

He always try to express his gratitude by showering you in praises and compliments and tells you just how much he loves you. Honestly, he will not hesitate to WORSHIP you like a GODDESS. (Which you are in his eyes) and loving every single inch of your being. You always feel so lucky to have him.

Finally! I did the William version!

Sorry for the late updates, but I have to write it down in my notebook before posting it tumblr. For some reason this was the toughest to write, I even listen to Mommy asmr while writing this.

A/N: I know I've been radio silent for a while. A major blog that I like reblogged a post of mine and I'm hecking embarrassed cuz it sucked and uhirewalgbrteiuyag. Anyway. enjoy. And merry christmas.

William adores you, his darling wife.

From the moment he met you, William vowed to protect you from the filth of this world. Even if that meant less than pleasant ways of doing so.

Of course you wouldn’t know about that; you’d be kept blissfully ignorant of your husband’s possessive nature. And that’s why he loved you. You were so innocent and naive, believing in only the good of people. A ray of light in his dreary world.

You're so clueless that you don’t notice how he manipulates you and those around you. Your friends, your family, anyone you meet on a regular basis are slowly cut out of your life. And as you lament over your loneliness, William will only smile and comfort you.

Outwardly, he is the ideal husband, attentive, loving, and courteous. If you ever second guessed him, you’d immediately feel guilty for doubting your wonderful husband.

He has no qualms manipulating you. It was all to protect you, after all. And even as he does so, it is with a saccharine sort of sweetness that soothes any worries.

However, he is less kind to those who desire you as well. While most wouldn’t be bold enough to pursue another’s spouse openly, there were a few ambitious individuals.

William has quite a few schemes to take care of anyone who looks at you with their lecherous eyes. Enough to make them regret ever approaching you with ill intentions.

There are few that William trusts around you. Of course, that includes his brothers and the household staff. However, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t adverse to your attention being taken up by them. He wants to be the only one in your gaze.

One would be surprised by how jealous William can be. It’s hard to tell from his cordial mask and seemingly affable nature. But he is quite susceptible to the green eyed monster, perhaps more so than others.

To love someone is to possess them, in William’s eyes.

And you were his greatest possession.

That being said, he’s not completely delusional to his situation.

William knows he doesn’t deserve someone as kind and pure as yourself. Not with the amount of blood on his hands. And yet, he can’t help but desire a future with you, even if that desire is in vain. He won’t forsake his ultimate plan for you, but that doesn’t mean he’s selfless enough to let you go.

Sometimes, in the dead of night as he holds you in his arms, William dreams of having a family with you.

William is fully committed to dying for his sins, but that does not mean he is ready to truly release you from his grasp. So, before his death he would leave you one last reminder of him, something to tie you to him even in his death.

Valentine's Day Headcanons

How the Moriarty brothers and Sherlock ask their significant other to be their Valentine's and how they would spend the day with them.

Albert, William, Louis James Moriarty, and Sherlock Holmes

Albert James Moriarty

The day Albert was planning to ask you to be his Valentine, you were out on a mission.

Ever the opportunist, he took the chance to surprise you when you came home.

When you entered the manor, the entrance was lit with romantic candlelight, rose petals on the ground, and Albert holding a bouquet of roses as soft music played.

Albert happily showed you what he had prepared for your evening.

The dining room had a table decorated, sporting candles and flowers in the middle. It even had neatly folded napkins, as if you were in a high-end restaurant.

The bathroom even had a bathtub filled with bubbles and scented candles.

By the end of dinner, he asked you to be his Valentine, which you happily agreed to.

He definitely has something grand planned for the occasion.

Unfortunately, some nobles started making their move, making you and Albert work on a mission.

Nothing says romance like hunting down corrupt nobles <3

Luckily, you two finished before the end of the day and had time for Albert's plans for Valentine's.

It might be weird to see you two run towards the train station while laughing, but you both didn't care and were relieved to catch the last train.

The rest of the trip went smooth sailing... if you ignore the fact that you forgot to pack some essentials.

Nothing a shopping trip couldn't fix.

Either way, it was a Valentine's you couldn't forget.

William James Moriarty

I think William's way of asking would be either of the two, simple and sweet, or a full-on treasure hunt... or both!

He will ask you on a library date inside the manor to unwind and relax for the afternoon.

The only thing is, the book you picked had a note inside.

It was a riddle, and you could tell at first glance it was William's little game.

You looked for him and saw him acting innocent as he read his book in his nook.

You playfully rolled your eyes as you played along to his game, making William hide his smile as he tried to focus on his book.

Each clue was filled with memories and inside jokes only the two of you shared, leading you to the last clue, which only told you to turn around and answer a question.

You did as it said and saw William holding a basket of lilies and your favorite things.

He asked you to be his Valentine's, and you happily said yes.

On the day, you and William visited Durham University and enjoyed the sights and date spots his students happily suggested.

While you two enjoyed the day, you didn't expect avoiding his students to be a side quest.

You also heard some of them joking about catching their professor on a date, hoping he would heed their advice.

Good thing William came prepared with disguises.

As the sun was about to set, William led you to the university, letting you guess what his last surprise was.

While sneaking into Durham University to use the observatory for stargazing was not one of your guesses, it was definitely a delightful experience.

Louis James Moriarty

He practiced asking you in person countless times in front of the mirror.

How to approach you, making sure he was saying it right, not fumbling in his words, and asking you confidently.

In the morning, he tried to approach you, but he either backed out at the last minute, you two were busy with chores, or someone else was in the room.

He tried to ask again at lunch while you were preparing the food, but Master Jack entered the kitchen, offering a helping hand.

Night came, and Louis was practically defeated.

But he settled in leaving you an extra treat during dinner to ask you instead.

It didn't help his nerves when you sat beside him at the dinner table, though.

As Louis prepared everyone's desserts, you had an extra small plate of elegant chocolate-covered strawberries with chocolate syrup writing: "Will you be my Valentine's?"

In shock, you looked at Louis, who was facing away from you as he gave everyone their dessert.

You smiled as you waited for him to finish.

As Louis gave the last dessert, he hurriedly over to his spot, trying to avoid your gaze as he sat down.

You softly tugged his sleeve and whispered yes, making Louis freeze up as he tried to settle down his burning face.

Fortunately, everyone thought he just had too much to drink that night.

For Valentine's Day, Louis prepared a cozy date for you two to enjoy in the manor. (his brothers made sure no one would bother you two on the day)

Cooking together, making chocolate, trying new recipes, dancing while no one's looking, reading books, snuggling under the covers, and just spending the whole day together sums up your Valentine's.

Sherlock Holmes

Romance isn't exactly this man's forte.

You were walking to 221B Baker Street as Sherlock asked you, but you were surprised to see no one was there.

You carefully walked up to their flat and saw the surprise on the table.

He will most likely leave a real human heart in a glass container with a card saying: "Will you be my Valentine's?" to ask you.

How is it still beating in there? You will never know.

But hey, at least he's got the spirit!

When you check the card, you see it had instructions to open a specific drawer.

Debating whether to ignore or follow along and be greeted by a human brain, you complied and opened the drawer carefully.

Inside were paper iris flowers, a small teddy bear, chocolates, and a pen with another card written Yes and No on it.

You circled yes.

You found out he, John, and Miss Hudson were hiding nearby, unsure how to face you if you didn't agree (despite already dating)

If there isn't a case during Valentine's, he'll likely have a date all over London. He'll take you to places and spots he saw or visited during investigations and wanted to take you there.

During your date, he'll probably get you the most random stuff he wants to give you, ranging from random flowers to a peculiar antique he'd think you like or wants you to have.

When a case does come up, he'll try to put it on hold. But you could tell he really wanted to take it, so your date became an investigation.

He still tries to make it romantic and fun for both of you, thanking you for letting him work, but you reassured him it was still fun watching him deduce and work on a case.

• William will get jealous when someone he cares deeply for, gives equal or more affection to someone else, especially if that person isn't truly worthy of their attention, or worse. He's quite possessive by nature, if that wasn't obvious.

• If you prefer spending more time with others compared to him, he'd honestly be jealous. I suppose you'd know when he's jealous when he starts clinging you, demanding your attention. He'd just try to keep you for himself.

• When he's jealous... he thinks about all the things the other could be doing to 'steal' you away from him. How they spend time with you, talk to you, make you laugh...I mean, you're an amazing person in William's eyes, and he wants you all to himself.

• William mostly gets jealous when someone flirts with his lover or when someone shows any kind of attraction towards them, since he considers them to be *his* and only his. This is especially true after a while, since William can develop an unhealthy kind of attachment to his loved one and start to consider them as an extension of himself, a sort of possessive attitude that he knows is wrong.

• and When it comes to getting rid of a love rival who thinks it's funny to play with his heart, he would simply show the other side of the coin. The savage side of it.

After all, it's very important for both of you to have your own interests and a sense of independence. There's no reason to be jealous of others enjoying their time with you.

• It's completely understandable to feel a certain level of apprehension when his partner gets close to another male (that he's not familiar with). However, he also believes that trust is an essential component of any romantic relationship.

• He's so confident in his role as a partner, and he trusts that anyone he has chosen to share his life with, wouldn't betray his trust. That said, if his partner were to take up a close friendship with another man, or was constantly spending time in places he wasn't welcome, it might make him question your commitment to this relationship.

William frustrates me beyond belief but I'm still so incredibly, madly in love with him. Also, reader is kinda yandere for William here as well. Reader is female.

The pale moon in the night sky starkly contrasted the glow of a freshly lit candle, its warm flames just barely reaching the parchment of paper. Her hands shook violently as (y/n) analyzed it, word for word, heart racing in her chest as she positively beamed with joy, her (e/c) blown open wide with excitement.

William had written back to her. Finally.

The two had developed a friendship a little bit over a year ago but what William remained oblivious to was that (y/n) had been helplessly in love with him for years now. The Moriarty family was well known and regarded within polite society and their status as free bachelors boosted their popularity even more so, especially amongst the women. No matter which Moriarty brother entered the room, they would turn heads and people would talk. Be it in awe or jealousy, the entire family was something worth gawking at. Truth be told, their staff was also the hot talk of the town. They were easy to talk to and friendly, Moran and Bonde in particular. That was exactly how the girl managed to step into the threshold of the house and finally have a proper word with the handsome mathematician.

Their talks started off innocent enough with William indulging her with his company every now and then. She managed to slide through the tough cracks of the mysterious man, bit by bit. She would watch him grade papers sometimes, his gaze cascaded downwards as (y/n) played the role of the dutiful young lady who was minding her own business over some hot tea.

(y/n) was many, many things and eager was one of them. This, whatever this was - it was not enough for her. More, she needs more. Having afternoon tea with William was the highlight of her day but by God, it felt as though she was going to implode!! William, ever the gentleman, never once made a move on her, no inappropriate glance, no comment, nothing. Be it day or night William was constantly keeping her at the edge of her seat, wondering whether or not he would actually do something. Sometimes, if she was lucky, she could feel the touch of his slender fingers against her own as they both reach for the sugar. Their eyes would meet and William would give her a sweet smile, never actually recoiling in shame or embarrassment. Did this mean he was fond of her? Was she overanalyzing it? She couldn't know, William was such a hard person to get a good read on. (y/n) knew that no one was perfect in this world but in her eyes, William was more brilliant than the stars that hung high in the night sky.

Letting out a sigh, (y/n) hugs his letter close to her chest as she looks out the open window, the crisp air giving her a sense of relief as it blew into the room and onto her hot skin. It was so late in the evening, no one was awake now. What even was the point of all this?

Unbeknownst to her, William was wide awake in his office as he looked out his own window, his cheek resting on the palm of his hand as a wicked little smirk made its way onto his face. Several papers were sprawled out in front of him, all of which were your letters. William took great pleasure in reading them all from time to time and analyzing everything you said. You tried so hard to act like a perfect little noblewoman, always having a polite smile on your face and carefully choosing each word you dared to utter. He felt a little bad, toying with you like this, keeping you dancing on the very edge until you finally crack.

William was desperate to see the real you, the oh so jealous (y/n) who did her best to hide her seething rage in front of the other ladies who gushed about William right in front of you. He never failed to spot the way you bite the inside of your cheek, the rage in your eyes was so evident but oh so precious. He was selfish, keeping you on his tight leash like this but it was all worth it in the end. He was driving you mad with desire and before long, he was sure that you are close to your breaking point.

He can't wait to have you, all of you.

There was nothing in the world that could stop him.

Albert James Moriarty

He was a little uncomfortable with the thought of being spoiled. Like, him? Spoiled? He beg to differ. But after he met you. All he could say is…. Well sh!t..

He was never the spoiled type (that’s what he thought), if anything he would be the one spoiling his S/O. But now he could only question how the hell did he end up here while sitting sideways on your lap.

He was honestly embarrassed by it. Wasn’t it supposed to be the other way around? Well, not anymore….

He wasn’t familiar with motherly love considering his childhood. He was never felt like he was accepted in his “Family” so mothers love wasn’t something he can Imagine to have.

After he met you he feel like he found something that was missing his whole entire life. He never felt so safe, so comfortable, so……. Happy….

At the start of the relationship, it was something small and simple things like serving and feeding him cookies, and then leads to wrapping him in blankets and cuddle him the whole night (You’re the big spoon obviously), which also leads you into tucking him in before bed and sing him a lullaby, and also leads you to cradling him when he had a hard day…..

He was really embarrassed to say the least. He was treated like a child! And for some reason it makes him feel so warm inside.

He likes it…..

He will never admit to anyone, not even when someone threatens him death. But he loves how you treat him like a child, he loves how you spoil him so much with your loving. You’ve awaken his inner child he never knew he had.

As time goes on the others start to notice how Albert’s behavior is slowly start to become more… Childlike….

Like how he looks at you so excitedly like a child seeing his birthday present when he finally gets back, or when you’re home after going out to get groceries. Or how he becomes 970% more clingy than he used to. And how he always clings onto you when you’re sitting together or you’re just talking with someone else.

Well… They’re not the only one who realized it. Cause I’m pretty sure that Albert would realize it sooner than they do. But despite that he’s not stopping it at all…. What kind of spell did you used on him?!

Nobody ACTUALLY complains about it, maybe Moran would tease him but he would get the most terrifying glare, that it can make the devil look like a baby kitten. He notes himself that he would NEVER tease Albert about it ever again.

But when someone else points it out…. Let’s just say that he never wanted to jump out of the window so bad in his whole entire life.

He’s conflicted. He’s a grown up adult, he’s not supposed to be treated as a child nor act like one. But at the same time it just feels soo good that he’d be a liar if he said he didn’t like it! Not like he can stop even if he wants to.

He was honestly quite self-conscious about it. He feels like he should stop letting you treat him like a child so much, but he also craves for it. He can’t decide whether to stop you or letting you do anything to him.

He once told you how he feel a little ashamed of liking all those childish things. But you told him that there’s nothing wrong with enjoying all those things. Everyone has their own inner child and everyone always want to feel loved. And that actually made Albert feel a lot better hearing you say that.

After some time, he lets himself loose and let you do more “lovey” things like cradling and other babyish things. He also really likes how you spoon fed him, but he only let’s you do that in private.

William and Louise also notice Albert’s childlike behavior. And neither of them judges him. In fact, they’re happy that Albert is able to feel happy and comfortable with someone. And they really do appreciate your company cause they haven’t seen Albert so content and happy before. So that really made Albert relieved.

He loves the way you scratch his back while he’s cuddling you (I love back scratches, y’all knew this was coming). He always wraps his arms around you as he lays his head on your chest while you softly scratch his back. He’s the big spoon most of the time, but sometimes he’s the little spoon when he’s feeling tired or down.

And then… There’s cradling, OH THE CRADLING!! He’ll be DAMNED if anyone else knows about this, but he he craves to be cradled! It’s probably one of the most babyish things he actually enjoy but boy he loves it!

It’s just… The way you hold him while he sits on your lap and rocking him slowly (god that’s adorable) and having his head resting on you. He has never felt so safe and comfortable in his life. It’s embarrassing and he loves it so damn much.

It would take a lot of time for Albert to accept his “tendencies” he’ll try to be a lot more open with his childlike behaviors. Of course he won’t show that side of him to anyone, but now he’s a bit more open to admitting his “tendencies”. He’ll also let himself act a bit more spoiled to you and enjoys how he’s treated as a child.

And once that finally happens you’ll realize how adorably spoiled he is. Like how he ask you to sing him to sleep, making him and feeding him cookies, clinging onto you, and running up to you when you get back. It was incredibly adorable and beyond cute!

Of course that doesn’t mean he’s not serious with his work on taking care of the nobles. It’s just that whenever he takes a break he always know where to go and what can make him feel so much better after all that. And that’s something he will never take for granted.

Of course he will try to pay you back. (Even tough he feels like he will never be able to). Like treating you out for dinner, buying you gifts, getting whatever the hell you want (even if it’s as absurd as bringing home a lion). It’s just that… Words cannot express how thankful he is to have you and you make everything so worth it in this life…

He has never felt so happy….

Wow….

This is one of the most tooth-rooting, stomach stirring, diabetic thing I have ever wrote…

I’m so proud of it…

moriarty brothers illness headcanons :)

William

- very easily motion sick. it's not as bad on trains or carriages but anything on water is guaranteed to make him feel nauseous

- prone to fevers...they're not always very high, but sometimes he'll be working all day with a low grade fever and no one will have a clue. once it gets high enough, though, everyone starts to notice, but William will usually keep working until someone makes him stop (and at that point he's a pushover)

- everyone is aware of his tendency to suddenly fall asleep (undiagnosed narcolepsy lol) but it's worse when he's sick, and he's much more difficult to wake when he's sick

- post-The Final Problem, he's gotten more sickly, and he's much more aware and accepting of when he needs to rest. he's often super faint and dizzy and has issues walking for long periods of time, so he always takes Sherlock's arm when it's too much

- Sherlock laying with him when he's not feeling well, giving him tummy rubs when he feels nauseous and making sure he's comfortable enough to sleep uninterrupted...William often makes himself feel worse when he worries about his family and even though Sherlock understands his pain he's gotten good at derailing his thoughts

Louis

- he has to take daily medication for his heart...if he ever misses a dose or the formulation is off, it's obvious - he's pale, dizzy, and faint all day. he will absolutely get irritable too. William will notice it coming on when he gets a little snappy

- he's generally pretty sickly, despite denying it, and he's not good at hiding anything or taking care of himself. anyone other than William has to tread carefully with accusing him of being sick because he'll get defensive. most of them have learned to just tell William if something is wrong with Louis instead of confronting him themselves. but Louis hates that even more, William worries too much about him 💔

- he has a very sensitive stomach...not only with food, but his stomach reacts to unpleasant sights and smells too to a certain extent. if he sees something that makes his stomach churn he'll turn around, cover his mouth and breathe hard through his nose and that usually works okay. he's used to his stomach hurting but tries to avoid throwing up at all cost, especially in front of others

Albert

- he is ridiculously good at hiding when he doesn't feel well. like William, he can continue working despite his condition, but he's much more stubborn about stopping. usually it works out in his favor but there has been a few times where he's truly needed help

- Mycroft has personally witnessed him very politely excuse himself to throw up and come back and seem perfectly fine, like nothing ever happened :) Mycroft thinks it's kind of attractive

- Albert is a pro at throwing up 🙏 it doesn't bother him much at all, and because of this he's very good at taking care of his brothers when their stomachs are sick

- he's not sick very often and generally has a good immune system, but stress will usually be the reason he falls ill. he's also fallen victim to a hangover every now and then too lol

i’ve been watching moriarty the patriot (finally) and first of all eat the rich and second of all i love william. here’s something for my williamheads out there

william james moriarty is sexually attracted to idiots (and you’re the idiot);

at first glance, no one knows how the fuck a refined genius like William and a single-digit IQ buffoon manage to work

you’re vastly different people, after all. while William has enough brainpower to run all of England you have enough brawn to break it down by hand

you’re abnormally strong for your build, you always have been, and you tend to stray away from the law which is what attracted William’s interest in the first place

you became the brute force that would come in and fuck shit up whenever shit required fucking up, and you were more deadly barehanded than most people are equipped, so you became a “personal bodyguard” of sorts.

but holy shit were you dumb.

part of you hated being around william so much, because he’d say things and then someone else would reply with different things and you were always just completely lost

what’s going on? who does this dude want revenge on? how is will gonna get everyone out? who is this guy? how’d he find us? wait, did he find us or did we find him? i need a nap.

once you accompanied william on a train with a murder onboard. also onboard was william’s rival (another man who thought so hard it made your head hurt). and by the end of it you were still confused

“There’s just one thing I don’t understand…” you said, though it was a blatant lie, there were many things you didn’t understand. “Who was the killer?”

you remember the blank-faced stare from will and louis. those judgemental red eyes continue to bore into your soul.

but william found himself distressingly attracted to you anyway. he didn’t know why, but every time you opened your mouth and something stupid came out he was overcome with an urge to rip his suit in twain.

as you got to know each other better, he found himself seeking your presence whenever he could. you had a lot of stories about your life before you met him, and your comedic timing was impeccable. you seemed to be the only person who could make him laugh — genuinely, that is, not the “weird evil one” you always say he does.

before long you were paramours. there was no official conversation, there didn’t need to be, it was just where your relationship went naturally.

you’d spend as much time together as possible, and you came to notice that whenever you said one of your trademark idiot things that william would fix you with a hungry gaze. it wasn’t perceptible to the average person, but you’d known him so well at that point you could easily tell.

occasionally, whenever privacy permitted, he’d all but jump you once you were alone.

between his fervent kisses you’d ask, “Not that I’m against this—“ he steals your lips again, “but why’re you so excited all of a sudden?”

he pulls away and caresses your cheek, his eyes a mix of lust and adoration. “Darling, would you really prefer to talk when you could just take me?”

that never failed to get you going, which is why he’d say it. he wasn’t really looking forward to confronting that he got insta-hard whenever you acted stupid.

the only time he can hold himself back (other than being in public, that is) is when you’re injured or otherwise unwell. he gets so beside himself with worry that his persona cracks — just a little, but enough to be noticed by his brothers, and certainly more than anyone else can manage.

you stepped into the office one evening with blood pooling into the fabric of your shirt. Louis speaks up first, “You’ve been injured!” he all but yells as he rushes to grab a first aid kit.

you didn’t even seem to notice. you look down and jab at the wound. “Oh yeah, I did get lightly stabbed.”

Moran barks out, “You got stabbed?!”

“Lightly,” you correct him. “That guy William had me nab had a friend with him. I tried to grab him too but I uh… killed him. I didn’t try to snap his neck it just happened. Sorry, boss,” you say, nodding apologetically in William’s direction.

there’s very little to betray his emotions, but as soon as he saw your injury he bit the inside of his cheek. he shakes his head, his smile transfixed but now slightly strained. “Not at all. You did well. Once you get that wound treated you should get some rest, I’ll come see you soon.”

he doesn’t leave your side that night. you insist it’s not a big deal but he can’t bring himself to leave.

part of william hates that he puts you in danger regularly. the logical part knows that you’re near-superhuman with your uncanny strength and constitution, but the emotional part, the part that loves you so dearly it gets anxious when you’re not near, berates him for risking it anyway.
