summary: Stuff I couldn’t formulate into a coherent or long enough post. Kinda fluff? I just want them to be happy tbh🥺.

a/n: Mostly character traits for my fic temperance! 👀 But honestly, this is how I picture them in general. I’ve been missing my own story lately (even though I’m literally responsible for writing it💀).

Eren:

Addicted to those shitty mobile games. He’ll turn on airplane mode just so he doesn’t get stupid pop-up ads.

Since he’s an avid mobile gamer, if he’s out of whatever resource he needs, he’ll pay that $2.99 for a ‘booster pack’ or whatever.

Hates cilantro. Despises it. He gets lowkey mad when he sees it on his plate💀

Has those ‘Ken’-like senses whenever Mikasa needs him. He will drop whatever he is doing to save his girl!

If Mikasa is shopping at Aritzia- Eren will probably chill on the boyfriend couches or play with the arcade machine. Like I said before, since he has those ‘Ken’-like senses, he’ll immediately stop whatever he’s doing for Mikasa (she’s perfectly fine and just dropped her chapstick).

Listens to anything Metro Boomin produces. Also, listens to Mitski (Class of 2013 fs).

Connie:

His ringtone is ‘Gucci Flip Flops’ by Bhad Baby. It started off ironic just so he could piss Eren and Jean off, but he’s now one of her biggest stans.

He won’t stop playing ‘Gucci Flip Flops’ (while he’s in the shower, getting ready, cooking, etc.) to the point where Eren and Jean have threatened to evict him. Connie says they’re “Silencing female musicians” and continues playing the song.

HE IS A HOT GIRL! HE LOVES MEGAN THEE STALLION!

Likes to wear beanies in the winter.

Adds extra marshmallows in his hot chocolate☕️.

Has an extensive shoe collection (mainly Jordan’s).

Posts those: ‘Show younger you or a bad [insert month]’ templates on Instagram. (He genuinely believes that not posting it will curse him).

Sasha:

Avid Google Maps user. Only to find really good hole-in-the-wall restaurants, though.

Writes restaurant reviews on Google Maps for fun.

Gets mad when said restaurants become popular (my sister in Christ- you wrote the reviews telling people to go there…)

Her favourite music consists of Fleetwood Mac, TWICE, New Jeans and old country/blues.

She cries over those little Korean baby variety shows whenever she gets them on her for you page.

Always carries a packet of ketchup and hot sauce in her wallet.

She gets those ‘This was meant for you’ tarot card readings on TikTok and watches all the way through.

Sends those OBSCENE emoji chain mail text messages to Connie and Jean because it’s funny.

Jean:

Posts gym photos like a harlot.

Sends Connie those ‘Post younger you or bad month’ templates because it’s funny to see him get flustered…

He really likes pop-punk music and one direction (I don’t make the rules).

One time, he walked in on Connie and Sasha watching Ru Paul’s drag race, and he was being such a little shit disturber about it. Until he realized four hours had passed and he was already watching the Queens getting fitted for their final looks.

Rise and Grind- Chicken, rice and unseasoned broccoli mf… Until he got bored of prepping the same meals. He’s become a better cook because of it!

He and Connie love getting high and fucking around while baking those Betty Crocker cake mixes (funfetti or chocolate).

Jean’s favourite movie is The Big Short.

One time, he sat on a Nutella sandwich Connie left on the couch, and Eren accused him of shitting himself. Jean got so heated that they almost fist-fought until Armin had to mediate.

beomgyu : the avid gamer who has his eyes on the screen, a console in his hands, and you on his lap. no matter what game or level he’s playing, his free hand will always snake around to your waist, as he asks you about your day and everything that you did. of course, there are some ‘me or the ps5?’ moments, but he always chooses you, quickly muttering an apology and brushing your hair with his fingers. a firm believer that you’re his princess peach and he’s your mario. will greet you in the hallways, classroom and in front of the lockers with the slightest whisper, “hi, my pretty princess peach” that leaves your cheeks as flushed as a strawberry. leads you to a hill which has a signboard while you two are playing minecraft and asks you to flip it, revealing a 'go to prom with your mario?' as he looks at you nervously, chewing on his bottom lip. attacks you with kisses when you press the green button, signaling yes, as the fireworks go off in the game.

taehyun : the soulful musician for whom, lyrics flow like a spring but has difficulty in using words to express his love for you. so instead, he writes songs dedicated to you. everything about you mesmerizes him so much that he could go on penning down lyrics about you for hours. loves it when you two go to karaoke, where he sings all the cheesy romantic songs for you. calls you his muse, because inspiration strikes him only when he's with you. sings to you when you're too stressed to calm you down. will text you to come to the music room asap and when you enter, the entire orchestra launches into a peaceful musical piece; and he begins singing "last night on earth' by green day. two wide smiles on both of your faces once he's done with the first chorus, he begins with, 'y/n, honey, will you-' but he's cut off by you jumping and shouting 'yes!', much to his delight.

hueningkai : the notorious troublemaker who's a menace to everyone except you, the calm to his storm, his one and only anchor. caging you with his body in empty nooks and corners of the school because flustering you is his hobby. late night rides on his motorcycle, your arms wrapped tightly his waist, as if you'd never let him go. loves to tuck in your hair behind your hair, because to him in that moment, you're perfect, his everything. climbs ladders and walls to sneak into your room through your window, soft feet padding through the wooden floor of your room. impresses your parents by actually showing up at your door instead of your window, with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. 'prom, darling?' he asks, your nose scrunching up cutely at the nickname, and your parents yell 'yes' from behind as he pulls you into his arms and pictures of you two get snapped by your folks for 'memories'.

I've always been into music since I was little. I've been playing guitar for 8 years, been playing bass for two, and banjo for 6 months. I've also been playing trumpet for 4 years and piano for 3. I also write my own music, though I don't post it.

I also am into art! I'm a big graphite artist. Most of my art is done on drawing paper and a mechanical pencil, though I enjoy chalk pastel and oil pastel.

I'm an avid gamer. I play mostly story games, but I enjoy online games. My favorite games are Stardew Valley, TES V: Skyrim, FO4, and Hades. I also really like For Honor and Minecraft!

I am a huge fan of sports, surprisingly. My favorite sports are boxing and soccer (football). I also do school sports. I pole vault and sprint! Sports are a big part of my life.

Because of sports, I'm a fan of working out as well. I mostly do power lifts (deadlifts, squats, and benches), but I also do standard body shaping lifts like curls and delt workouts.

CARMEN

Player was her first exposure to the outside world so she probably holds a lot of his nerdy interests close to her heart. She’s not the best at video games but plays them regardless. She especially enjoys sci-fi horror movies from the 80s that go big on practical effects

Finding random trivia about different countries is genuinely one of her favourite hobbies. The little info segments she does are not part of the edutainment show. She is genuinely just like that. This woman is a trove of fun facts please let her unleash them upon you

In the same vein she LOVES quizzes. After missions she will drag Team Red to any bar doing a trivia night in her vicinity and will wipe the floor with everyone there. Fear her

Enjoys people watching. It’s why she’s so good at charming strangers despite her socially stunted upbringing. She’ll sit alone in a busy train station for hours and watch everyone pass her by

PLAYER

Look. We know this kid is a nerd. It’s canon. But which niche of nerdiness does he fall into exactly?

Despite being an avid gamer he isn’t very competitive about it. He prefers single player rpgs, especially ones with active modding scenes. He doesn’t even know what vanilla Skyrim looks like he probably wasn’t even born yet when it released

He will, however, duo queue with Carmen on unranked Overwatch. They are both terrible at it and think it’s the funniest shit

Enjoys sitting back and watching a good speedrun. Will have a video of someone doing a stupid BOTW challenge in the background while he hacks security cameras and such

Runs a DnD campaign for Team Red which they’re all crazy invested in. Shadowsan is the only one who doesn’t care for it but he keeps rolling nat 20’s on the dumbest shit and derailing the campaign and he finds everyone’s reactions too entertaining to stop. They have a rivalry only a DM and a stupidly lucky rogue could have

ZACK

We already know he’s kind of a meathead that enjoys sports and cars and cheesy action movies but I also think he has a lot of softer hobbies that he keeps to himself bc he knows they won’t take him seriously

He’s a secret crocheter. He’ll mend the team’s clothes when they rip but that’s the extent of their knowledge. He’ll sit for hours by himself and knit while listening to music. Sometimes Shadowsan will find a new pair of socks in his bag. When Carmen got sick once she woke up with a handmade blanket draped over her. Ivy has her suspicions but doesn’t wanna intrude

He loves animals. He never really brings it up because no one ever asks. He always checks out local zoos and aquariums if he has the chance. Grew up watching Steve Irwin-esque nature shows and still does to this day

His love of eating is less out of greed and more his own form of cultural appreciation. Idk what happened to his and Ivy’s parents but for reasons he can’t explain their cooking is one of the few things he hasn’t forgotten, so he has a lot of sentimental food-based memories. Penske Perfect and Details Matter are two phrases often used in conjunction with the Penske organization. And when they can be used to dunk on Ferrucci, all the better.

Josef is a perfectionist. This is a combo of his highly competitive nature - which has been said about him from a young age - and the Penske Perfect motto which he has taken to heart. He is highly critical of himself - getting very down on himself if he makes a mistake and taking the blame for things not wholly under his control. But he tried to maintain a genial if slightly arrogant image in public. He slips sometimes - there have been a few angry Twitter interactions that he later apologized for and on occasion after a race, his temper will get the better of him and he'll say things he probably shouldn't.

He can be goofy as hell as seen on Bus Bros. Scott McLaughlin has brought this out of him since becoming teammates. Josef has said that Scott makes him feel more comfortable being his real self.

I would be remiss if I did not point out Josef's thighs. He is a specimen in general but those thighs should get special attention.

hey alex :) do you have any video game recommendations?

YES I very much do. Most of them are ocean themed (very unexpected i know). As a disclaimer, I honestly just don't play a lot of games anyway? I'm 100% not an avid gamer, so most of what I like playing are short experiences, usually indie, with huge emphasis on stories.

Do any of the ROs play video games and if so what kind do they enjoy most?

Because they have such a passion for art and creation, Dylan doesn't really play video games all that much──they prefer sketching or sculpting in their free time.

Shay is an avid gamer! He's got quite the eclectic taste but he prefers games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring and plays most souls-like games that look promising. He likes the challenging game play AND the intriguing lore and finding everything he can to figure it out for himself.

With Kinsley video games aren't particularly a sticky subject, she just doesn't like talking about it in the company she holds (Tiffany, V and others) she does like playing games like Stardew Valley and Undertale (pacifist route) or mobile games like Project Makeover or Travel Town. She's not the best at playing challenging games but she loves watching other people play games like Persona or Minecraft!

Since J moved in with their uncle they no longer have access to a PlayStation or Xbox so they haven't played video games as much as they used to. When J was living at home they used to play games like Skyrim, Assassin's Creed or fps games like Valorant and Counter Strike, but they still try to make time to play with their sister when she asks to play 'calmer' games like Animal Crossing with them.

Theo likes video games, but they're not very good at them. Like Kinsley, Theo is pretty content to just watch other people play games, especially story based games like Omori, the Uncharted saga, the Final Fantasy saga and games like them. However, Theo does prefer reading or finding new music to playing video games!

THEME SONG “TSUKI WO MITEITA – MOONGAZING” TEASER VIDEO

Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida announced that the game’s main theme, “Tsuki Wo Miteita – Moongazing,” was written and performed by recording artist Kenshi Yonezu.

“Words cannot express the impact Final Fantasy has had on my life,” Yonezu said in a message. “I never thought or imagined that I would ever receive an opportunity like this. I wrote this song especially for this game. Thank you.”

Yoshida added, “When I found out that we’d be able to work with Yonezu-san, I was not only surprised, but overjoyed. In just over two months, players will finally get their hands on Final Fantasy XVI, the next mainline installment of the Final Fantasy series. The game follows Clive Rosfield as he harnesses powerful Eikons to overcome his tragic destiny.

Today’s State of Play not only explores intricate details of the story and world lore, but also gives a first glimpse into the game’s party combat and colossal battles with new Eikons.

Clive’s Hideout

Clive’s Hideout, which serves as his base camp throughout the game, was revealed at State of Play. The footage showcased Clive preparing for upcoming battles by crafting items with gathered materials or tackling training modes.

Players can also complete a variety of side quests as well as Mob Hunts, that allows you to take on stronger enemies. Mob Hunts can be accepted from the Hunt Board where you’ll spot a familiar face from the series—Moogle!

Loresman Harpocrates and Vivian Ninetales

Loresman Harpocrates appears in Clive’s Hideout. He studies the history and customs of Valisthea, researching the local climate, folklore, religion, and traditions.

Harpocrates is very curious about Clive’s stories he takes home from his adventures. As Clive shares his past experiences, Harpocrates gains new knowledge as a researcher. And the Thousand Tomes in which he keeps records of his knowledge, will become more and more complete.

You can read up on everything about Valisthea if you visit Harpocrates and unravel the Thousand Tomes for yourself. Don’t forget to talk to Harpocrates when you stop by the Hideout during your travels.

Vivian the Military Scholar is well versed in the affairs of the countries of Valisthea and gives Clive lectures at various points in the story. You can talk to her in the Hideout as well.

Vivian is very knowledgeable about present day Valisthea, as well as its history. She will be happy to bestow you with knowledge of the past. With her help, you can explore the details of ever-changing character relationships and world affairs during specific time periods. Whenever you want to review the story so far or determine where Clive should go next, her knowledge will surely be of great help.

We hope you take advantage of their extensive knowledge to further immerse yourself in the story of Final Fantasy XVI!

New Combat Showcase

The latter half of the show was focused on combat. The show revealed new footage of Clive’s action gameplay, titanic clashes between the Eikons themselves, and epic Eikonic abilities.

I think almost literally everything. I played a lot of sports as a kid because my mom would sign me up for classes, although I don't think I've been in any proper competitions. No. Never. Never in my life. No I'm not being sarcastic right now. (I am being very sarcastic right now LMAO I can't even read sarcasm most of the time)

Um. If irl then their appearance and any notable colors they're wearing, if online then I note their mannerisms and associate them immediately with their pfp. If it's notable enough I might lock on to their name more than their pfp.
