Pocky Game (HC)

Fandom: Obey Me, TWST

Pairing: Demon brothers, Dorm leaders with gn!Reader

Warning: Some HCs are mildly suggestive

Prompt: Their reaction to you suggesting playing the pocky game.

Lucifer is skilled at the game, even if he has never played it.

He makes the game as difficult for you as possible but makes sure not to touch your lips, leaving you craving a kiss.

Will take every opportunity to tease and embarrass you, especially if you look like you are dying for a kiss from him.

Would Lucifer kiss you after the game? No, he would leave you hanging unless you are on the verge of tears. At that point, the Avatar of Pride would feel guilty for taking the game too far.

Heck yeah, he will play the game with you! He thinks the game will be easy but soon realizes it requires restraint and focus.

He is tempted to eat the entire stick and kiss you, but if the rewards are worthwhile, he will do his best to control his urges.

Mammon tries to use his charm and sweet words to distract you, and if you fall for it, things will be easier for him. Mammon immediately knows he will lose the game if you have strong self-control.

Overall, he enjoys the thrill of the game. Whether Mammon wins or loses, he will steal a kiss from you after the game ends.

You can't be serious! You are asking him or all the people to play the game with you?

Levi is nervous and uncomfortable at the idea of getting physically close to you, even though part of him wants to. But he has to maintain his image as a shut-in otaku.

Eventually, he gives in and plays with you, considering you don't stop waving the box of pocky sticks in front of him.

He refuses to make eye contact with you and blushes deeply. Internally, though, he is excited, especially when your lips unintentionally touch his.

That night, he cannot sleep and keeps touching his lips, secretly wishing to get more kisses from you.

He doesn't know whether playing this game is a good idea but eventually agrees.

Satan knows that he will need to control himself, especially if he doesn't win. The last thing he wants is to get angry because he lost a flirting game. The amount of embarrassment he would feel having to explain why he lost his temper to his brothers sends a shiver down his spine.

Throughout the game, he studies your behavior and body language to understand how he can defeat you. For him, this is more of a challenge to win than a way to flirt with you.

But if your lips brush against his lips, Satan will blush. Do what you will with that information.

Do you even need to ask the Avatar of Lust if he wants to play a flirting game with you? Yes, yes, and YES, he will play with you.

It's too bad he can't use his charm spell on you, so he will have to actively try to get you to drop your guard.

Asmo will definitely push your boundaries and brush his lips against yours as much as possible. He may or may not steal kisses while he is at it.

If you expect to walk away after suggesting this game, think again. Things will escalate further, and you will be stuck with Asmo in his room for the remainder of the day and night.

The game involves food? Count him in!

Unlike most of his brothers, Beel doesn't consider the game a challenge or an invitation for romance. It is more of a light-hearted, fun entertainment for him.

Unfortunately, Beel can't hold back the urge to chomp on the pocky sticks and ends up eating most as soon as you out one end in your mouth.

But as a way of saying 'sorry' to you for eating the sticks and not playing the game properly, Beel will give you a soft peck each time he chomps on the sticks.

The next day, when you return to your room after attending classes at RAD, you find a crate of pocky sticks sitting on your bed. Beel felt bad for eating all your pocky sticks during and after the game, so he got some more to apologize to you.

Good luck catching Belphie awake, but if you manage, he will agree to play the game with you without giving it much thought.

Only when your lips brush against him does Belphie realize what kind of a game you suggested.

Are you trying to hint at something? Not that he is complaining.

Throughout the game, he can't stop smiling.

While he doesn't try to take advantage of the situation, he notes how often you use the game to your benefit.

He may or may not hold onto you after the game finishes and take a nap using your lap as a pillow. You know, for stealing kisses from him and all.

You want him to play a childish game with you? Really? Whatever, if it gets you to leave him alone, sure.

Leona is intrigued when you put one end of the pocky stick in your mouth but doesn't show it on his face.

When your lips brush against him for the first time, he regrets agreeing to play the game. Unfortunately, Leona's cheeks turn slightly red against his will, breaking his cool, collected leader image.

He will not let you get away with breaking his image and ends up teasing you through the entire game.

Brushing his lips purposely against yours, sneaking in a lick here and there - to the point where he leaves you craving physical contact. Also, the look he gives you makes you weak in your knees.

Depending on Leona's mood, he may or may not cater to your craving after the game.

At first, he is not sure if he wants to play a game with you, but seeing your puppy eyes, Malleus can't say no.

He is uncomfortable and shocked at the closeness but gradually comes out of his shell as you play more rounds with him.

Unfortunately for you, when he ultimately comes out of his shell, he verbally teases and flirts with you but also shows a more vulnerable side, including his blush.

After the game, you are not walking away from him until the next day. You riled the dragon up, and he will make you pay for it but gently.

When you challenge him to a game, Riddle is determined to win and doesn't even ask what the game is.

The moment he realizes the amount of intimacy involved, his face matches the color of his hair. Even then, Riddles tries to focus on the game and winning...in vain.

Feeling your hot breath on his face, your lips near his, he finds himself losing his mind.

Riddles avoids you for days as he can't look you in the eyes after receiving so many 'kisses' from you.

Like he will back down from a challenge, even if the challenge involves pushing his comfort boundaries. He always plays to win, and this time is no different.

Initially, Azul tries to outsmart you by studying your movements and trying to read your eyes. But the longer the game proceeds, the more he loses his focus.

Your lips look so tempting, and...wait, what is he thinking? His cheeks definitely turn red, giving you an advantage and a chance to tease him.

Azul will want to get closer to you after the game, even if it is not immediately after. Once he gets a taste of your lips, it will be difficult for him to not want more.

Game? Count him in! Why would he ever say no to having fun? Also, the game has fun and food involved.

Kalim is utterly oblivious to the flirting portion of the game, even when your lips touch his. He just takes it as 'part of the game' and nothing more.

So, if you want to use this game as a chance to flirt with him, you will have to try a lot harder.

Kalim enjoys playing the game with you so much that he invites you over to play all sorts of games with him. Surprisingly, some of them are flirty in nature.

A game? Does he look like a child to you? He is too busy and has much better things to do than play your silly little game.

But to indulge you so that you don't sulk the entire day, Vil agrees to play one round. One round only.

He is surprised by your choice of game, and in his mind, he takes back what he said about the game being for children. Will he say that out loud? No.

Vil stays focused during the game, even if you attempt to distract him with charm or flirtation.

In the end, he wins, but Vil gives you a proper kiss and says, "If you want a kiss, all you have to do is ask."

A game? Like a video game? No? Then, why should he say yes? After some convincing, he gives in just so you will leave him alone faster.

Seeing how close your face is to his, Idia is uncomfortable and regrets agreeing to play until you tease him for not having courage. This turns his gamer mode on and makes him determined to beat you.

After that, no matter how much you tease him, he will stay focused and won't stop until he wins.

But once he stops playing, Idia finally realizes how many times his lips touched yours and can't stop blushing. He lost his first kiss to you without intending to. However, he is not too upset about it but will never tell you this secret.

Spoilers for Nightbringer Lesson 25

If you don't wish to be spoiled, please do not read any further. Thank you! 😊 Things I liked: 1. Showing how Asmo views how being number one in someone's heart works and giving him a character development moment. I really like seeing how he views love, even platonic love, since Asmo's always been the most upfront about his affections.

2. Letting him remember all those moments in the dream.

3. The connection between Lucifer and Asmo and how Lucifer pretty much went out of his way to give Asmo exactly what he wanted. Even if it's Asmo's subconscious Lucifer it really shows how Asmo knows that Lucifer will try to help him achieve his dream at all costs.

4. I personally found Barbatos' reasoning as to why he was upset very funny and a bit insightful. I previously believed that his relationship with Solomon was strictly business. Present Barbatos does state he trusts Solomon but I always thought it meant more in a, he's a good co-worker type of way. Seeing past Barbatos being upset at only being number 8th, to me shows that he cares a lot more about his pact with Solomon then I previously thought.

5. I loved the adorable moments when everybody was worried about Asmo, and when they drew on his face. That was very funny to me, especially when Asmo went out to apologize.

6. Asmo making Lucifer talk like a cat, which is what I picked, was hilarious and a good way to end that lesson.

Things I think could be improved on.

I really wish we got to see angel Asmo and how he met Lucifer. I think that would have added some more context over Asmo's obsession with beauty or how he came around to being part of the brothers.

2. Giving us some context for that forest, even a throwaway line like "this is where he shoves all the thoughts he doesn't like" or something could give us more context for the forest in Asmo's mind.

Personal Note 1. I do worry sometimes that the writers are either uninterested in Asmo's story since he's so underutilized despite being one of the seven. His turn really lacked the same depth that Mammon's self discovery did.

However, I also recognize that it's probably difficult to work with an Avatar of Lust in trying to keep a Teen rating. They've already done a good job of interpreting Asmo while still keeping it fairly PG13 so it's one of those situations I can't be too hard on the writers.

Prompt: You tell him you need a hug.

Prologue:

"Are you alright?"

It was evident from the tone of his voice that he was concerned about your puffy red eyes and pale face.

"I don't want to talk about it."

Your boyfriend wanted to know the reason behind your sadness but respected your wishes to not push you for an answer, at least now right now.

You looked at him with moist eyes and said with a cracked voice, "Will you...I...I need a hug."

Lucifer wrapped one arm around your waist without saying a word and pulled you close to his chest. He used his free hand to cradle your head.

He looked down at you with a soft, sad gaze before tightening his embrace.

His hug was protective and warm.

Mammon's eyes widened, but without wasting a second, he stepped closer to you, bent down a little, and tightly wrapped his left arm around you.

Mammon held onto you as if his life and your life depended upon it. If only he could take your sadness away with his hug, he would.

His hug was honest and passionate.

Levi stared at you in shock as his cheeks turned red at your request. With a bit of hesitation, he stepped closer, wrapped his left arm around your midback, and tightly wrapped his right arm around your shoulder.

Levi rested his chin on the top of your head, wondering what happened and who was responsible for your pain.

His hug was hesitant but comfortable.

Satan wordlessly pulled you close to him by your shoulders and firmly wrapped both arms around you; one arm around your shoulders, the other right below it.

He felt his anger rising at the thought of who was responsible for hurting you but pushed the thought aside for now, as comforting you was far more important. He used one hand to stroke the back of your head.

His hug was affectionate and long.

Asmo's expression softened as he held his arms out to you. Once you were close enough to him, he wrapped both of his arms around your midback.

Asmo buried his face on the top of your head if you were shorter. He rested his chin on your shoulder if you were taller. The entire time, Asmo could feel your pain through your touch and had to try hard not to cry along with you.

His hug was soft and natural.

Beel instantly throws his strong arms around you and pulls you into his chest. He bends down slightly so that the side of his chin is touching the side of your head. His arms were crisscrossed on your midback.

Whenever Beel saw your sadness, he felt like his heart was being ripped to pieces, and today was no exception.

His hug was fierce but heartfelt.

Belphie walked closer and loosely wrapped his right arm around your lower back. He then rested his left arm on your shoulder, jut his elbow into the air, and let his left arm hang over your back.

Belphie pressed his face into the side of your head and regulated his breathing, hoping his rhythmic breathing would help you calm down.

His hug was loose but impactful.

Chapter 27 Spoilers Nightbringer

My thoughts on chapter 27

Parts I liked

I appreciate that Satan's inner problem wasn't just being angry. I'm kind of getting tired of that so it was nice to see a different problem.

I like seeing how each brother means something to Satan and seeing him remember each of their gifts. Gives him a bit more depth. Shows that he obviously cares for his brothers and not just cats/mc.

The self hatred and feeling like a weak link was a good idea and creates an explanation into why he wants power through knowledge.

They're obviously setting up strong connections between Lucifer and the others by having Lucifer be a key to resolving their inner problems.

Things I think could be improved

I wish we had more time delving into his insecurities and obsession over knowledge. It would have been nice to see how his obsession with knowledge negatively reacts with his brothers, like ignoring them or ignoring MC in some way. I think if it was rewritten to show Satan ignoring all of them first THEN disappearing, then the rest would fit in better.

Seeing more of his self hatred when we were finally inside his head would have been nice. Perhaps instead of "Dark One" they could have used a different term that seems more self-deprecating to get the point across. Like "Useless One" or "Void Lord" or something to indicate his feelings.

Giving MC a private moment with Satan would have been good. I know it was important to bring the other brothers along to demonstrate the relationship, but with Asmo and Mammon both characters got a more private moment with MC before making the pact. Just to chat or talk. Then you can have Lucifer swoop in to help resolve things.
